He knows that what he needs to do next is consult a master about this.Preferably his master because next time she could let him borrow her lightsaber to try again. “I don’t think jar-kai is for me… But I kinda want to check different kybers now. On a scale from one to Master Windu’s death glare, how rude do you think it is to ask senior padawan brothers to check their kyber out?”

Hera examines the weapons her friend is showing and nods, too. One can't just use two lightsabers to make a proper Jar'kai set. The crystals choose their Jedi, just like Jar'kai chooses its practitioner.

She remembers being extremely confused about it, knowing she'd found something, and opening her closed palm to her Master only to discover two crystals. Two yellow ones, even, singing louder than her first lightsaber ever did.

also whats the point of the apostrophe in Jar’Kai. i cant find any proof that its phonemic so like why didnt they keep up the fake chinese look and separate them out. jarkai looks fine and jar kai looks like the rest of the techniques’ names. idk it feels out of place to me maybe im missing something

Fastest Glacier Qui-gon is the best name holy cow. (Also, Obi-wan being excited for jarkai and hoping Ahsoka takes him on -- !!!! So many feels how)

I’m glad that has gone over so well! It’s my new tag for Qui-Gon, which is much nicer than my old tag which was “Master Broken Nose” from a chapter in Where Shall We Three Meet Again? I’m pretty sure Qui-Gon prefers it as well.

discord's greatest triumph and worst mistake was giving us all the power to set your nickname to anything you wanted and change it as often as you liked because it means every time i post everyone else in the server is forced to read shit like "ceaseless watcher check out this juicy ass" and form an association of that with their idea of me as a person
