Thor hovered sheepishly outside Jane's office, rapping on the slightly open door with one hand. "Are you busy, my sunlight?" he asked, taking a step inside. "I know I have been... distracted lately." Since their return to Canada, he knew he had not been himself. It was difficult, when it felt as though he were the one scattered across the hillside, broken into pieces. He pulled his other hand out from behind his back, where he had a single sunflower. He held it out to her. "Barton tells me flowers are an excellent apology. Apparently he used it on my brother once. I did not ask for details." He smiled gently at her. "But this one reminded me of you."

Richard Evans (Lily’s dad) would be really into hunting and he would have the heads of animals he’s shot hanging around the house

James was scared shitless and did a lot of contemplating the first time he went to pick Lily up at her family house and he had to sit on the couch surrounded by stag heads all over the entire living room

We went to see Ride the Cyclone tonight!

They did such a great job. The girl who played Jane Doe absolutely knocked it out of the park! That solo has some intense vocal work, and she nailed it.

The only negative was that the theater was cooking 🥵😂

would she not adore this place? would he not find her bounding around the premises with undisguised glee , absolutely dedicated to discovering its every nook and cranny? no doubt she would stare in wide-eyed wonder at the ceiling that glittered with hundreds of stars , or tip-toeing her way around the base of the giant telescope just to get a GLIMPSE of the notes sprawled within the offices there. she would be happy here. he could imagine it ever so clearly : the light in her eyes as bright , and as beautiful as a sun's rays at dawn. the smile that would paint her lips , the greatest gift of all . it would warm him simply to bask in such a sight — WERE HE ALLOWED ITS GRACE.

thor's brow furrowed slight. with a frown , he blinked and REDOUBLED HIS OWN EFFORTS , squinting at the names of this realm's five planets.

but it was . . . DIFFICULT . . . to escape the growing chill down his spine .

i will say. it is funny that brendan wrote an entire hour long episode . and didn't mention jane once.

put beard + ted in a room together, talking their dinner plans, sitting on the bus together making each other smile, had beard try to help ted (via...a way i am very critical of knowing beard's backstory but that's another thing), their little handshake at the end, the little smile beard gives ted when he says they should try total football,,,,
