This starts out with David bringing up how people have soured his joy and how they’re selfish. Then he goes all ham on them like this wasn’t a song played on a lyre it was actually a rap callout. God can only hear the saved, the only prayer He hears from sinners is the prayer of repentance (which is why it’s so important to get saved, He can’t hear you until you do). As a Christian, you must BELIEVE that he can and will answer your prayer. I find this hard, but I’ve found that sometimes you just gotta throw caution to the wind. Once again it brings up meditating in a more positional sense. It describes what I am doing right now, talking to myself in my head on my bed. It mentions people who have lost hope and want to be happy, with David asking the Lord to shine his countenance upon them. This I sorta mentioned yesterday because God brings a joy in your life. And God helps with paranoia, so you can lay down and sleep peacefully without worry.
