Fantastic Four Casting odds

Hey Everyone, 

With Ant-man out this weekend, and the appearance of William Harper, the rumor mills have one less possible Reed Richards to talk about for the upcoming FF movie. So I’m just gonna nerd out a little here and discuss who they might go with *cracks knuckles and neck

Not gonna happen

John Krazinski - look, we all saw DR MOM, it was a fun moment after years of fan casting. Would I be happy to be wrong here, Yes. However you can write off never seeing our boy Jim again because something something multiverse, perhaps a cameo in a council of Reeds scene later on. but he won’t be our main stay

Ioan Gruffudd - the OG back from 2005, while they could also show up on a Council cameo, they won’t be the main actor either, plus the Chris Evans of it all would just be messy. 

Possible Casting 

Henry Cavill - Casting him would be an epic middle finger to DC, he has charm and a strong following, with the credibility of being King of the Nerds. Also, he kinda looks like Reed Richards with the black hair and square jar, but if Marvel ever gets him under contract it will probably be for something else. 

Dan Stevens - Previous Marvel TV Star who knows how to play ball when things get weird, is perfect for the FF. Anyone who has seen Legion will tell you that he has a lot of charm and a lot of range. 

Jamie Hector - Known best for his chilling role as Marlo in the Wire, this actor came back in last year’s “We Own This City” to deliberate his own morality and eventually mortality as a cop who went over the line and came back. Reed often has to make universe shattering choices, and Jamie could be the man to make them come to life.  

Jerry O’Connell - A child actor who came into his own (google it). Currently voicing Commander Jack Ransom on Lower Decks, who has the funny coincidence of his wife and a possible Sue, Rebecca Romijn, being on Strange New Worlds.

Most Likely

Rob McElhenney - I’ve seen a few memes about this, but somehow... they disappeared after FF had a director change. Previously it was going to be directed by Jon Holmes who did the Spiderman Home Trilogy, but now it’s been pushed back and is being re-written by Matt Shakman. MCU stans will remember him directing a large swath of WandaVision episodes, but prior to that, he was a long time regular director of IAWSIP, which just happens to have 5 people you could perfectly slot into the FF cast. Rob as Reed, Kaitlyn as Sue, Charlie as Johnny, Danny as the Thing, and Glenn as Doom. FX was bought by Disney several years ago, so this could be arranged through interoffice Email. This would give Marvel the opportunity to put a seasoned director with a leading cast he has years of experience with, while putting one TV family with years of experience onto the Big Screen.

- MTCR; The Six Challenge -

About a while ago, I saw this really cool challenge to draw all six of your favourite characters and post them in a collage and I thought; "why not do it for my characters?" So here are all six of my characters.

From top left to bottom right: we have Jamie Ann Robyn, Sadie mac Lir, Hector James Dagger, Professor Timothy Brian Anderson, Anis Rusli and Yazamanyhands/ Yazmin.

The main cast is Jamie, Sadie and Hector while Tim, Anis and Yaz play supporting characters with their own plots. It's a fun challenge to do and I still see it to this day from time to time. Seeing that I've done it. I'll say that it was fun~

it’s the way that john’s father’s death and its aftermath profoundly altered john’s perception of love and loss but he still fell in love with hector anyway and hector’s death just cemented that perception but he still fell in love with jamie anyway and jamie’s rejection just drove him further away from the idea of being loved back but he still fell in love with percy anyway and THAT fucked him up so badly that after percy there was no one else.

- Team JOSH: Enter Owen! -

Little update for you guys. This post officially welcomes Owen The Twiggmun into the MTCR universe. An official profile will be out eventually but here is your main team now.

For now, a brief history. Owen is pseudo creature. He was created from a botched experiment to use Omnibeast Compound for a new element. Since his creation, Owen was isolated and kept away from the world for years until one night, Sadie mac Lir and Hector Dagger infiltrated the base and stole Owen away.

Since then, Owen has become the team's tanker. Capable of taking lots of hits and land them back in situations. He also welcomed Jamie Robyn a little later when the trio was outmatched in a certain incident. From an out of story view, Owen is the "archetype pet" he is generally non-verbal and more action based.

As a product of the Omnibeast Compound, Owen has the adaptable ability of said compound which allows him to change between abilities found in The STAB System. (Stan, Tide, Ange and Bolt)

Owen can also be seen wearing a variety of suits build for his unique abilities, each with custom shells. There will be more to come of Owen in the future with different shells and suits but for now,

Owen is in!
