Me finding out about the mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But in all seriousness I do believe Mike Tyson will come out on top here. How confident am I? Well...
1. This is Mike Tyson were talking about
2. He is literally has one of the fastest knockout punches on record
3. This man literally bit a man's ear off mid fight.
4. This man has been to prison. I'm not talking speading a night in jail or 6-12 months like jake Paul. No literal 3 f**king years! Mike Tyson literally has said "i had the best three years of my life in prison" and I have heard stories that prison mike Tyson is way more scarier than ring mike Tyson.
5. This man is not your average 57 year old. This is going to be a 57 year old who is finally going to be able to let lose again and get a f**king adrenaline rush for the first time in 20 years. What Jake fails to realize is, men like Mike Tyson who come out of retirement to fight, are men who have a fire in them that can't be burned out. Jake picked the wrong one to mess with.
In conclusion...
Jake Paul better f**king pray he comes out intact

Thing is if norris had done that with Any US president it would be bad and quite fucked up. They have all participated in some of the worst crimes one could commit under various defenses. But trump is someone who even a huge majority of the US populace hates. This man is not worse than any other president but he never tried to hide it. How did you mess that up behind the veil of "irony" 😭

Jacob’s imprint and s/o plays a prank where she wipes off his kisses and jacob’s reaction to it
jake cracks me up in the same awful way that sam uley does😭😭
...
you were at jake's house helping billy out with some random things around the house while you waited for jake to get back from patrol. he absolutely loved how considerate you were when it came to his dad and was always so grateful for your help.
unfortunately for jake, you were best friends with paul and jared which oftentimes led to a lot of unnecessary shenanigans. the previous night, you'd (very unfortunately) lost a bet to the two of them and ended up needing to play a harmless prank on your boyfriend as penance.
so when jake, paul, and jared all came bustling through the door, you knew you were done for. paul and jared both wore matching grins on their faces as they leaned up against the kitchen counter, watching as jake came over to you.
"y/n," he smiled, stepping over to pull you into his arms.
you giggled, hugging him back and allowing him to hold you close to him for a few moments, "i missed you." he mumbled against your hair before loosening his grip on you so he could hold you by your biceps, "so much." he added before pressing a soft kiss to your cheek.
you glared at paul and jared, already knowing you were done for. "jake-" you giggled, brushing his kiss of your cheek with the heel of your hand.
the way his jaw dropped had paul and jared bursting into laughter, "what happened?" he asked softly after a moment, completely ignoring jared and paul's laughter as he instead slid one of his hands up to your jaw to inspect your face for any signs of discomfort or irritation.
you giggled, almost immediately folding when you saw his expression, "'m sorry," you murmured, giggling again, "lost a bet to jared and paul." you whispered which had jacob rolling his eyes before he pulled you close to his chest.
"what the hell is wrong with you two?" he grumbled to paul and jared, huffing when the two of them continued laughing as they made their way over to the living room to sit down on the couch.
"'m sorry jake," you giggled, peeking up at him, smiling when you saw how his gaze softened when he looked down at you.
"not your fault," he reassured, bending down to press his lips to yours for a soft kiss that had paul and jared gagging.

I'm back with more PJO/Riordanverse headcanons! Some of these are also just ways I would have done things after seeing then in new perspectives. This'll probably be a long post so I'll put this all under the cut.
Imma start with the headcanons!
Malcolm and Jake were actually dating for a while but only told everyone after Nico and Will both came out.
Adding on to my Genderfluid Percy headcanon from before, Percabeth are both bi so Annabeth doesn't mind.
Mitchell came around during the Sea of Monsters quest and Lacy came at the same time as Drew due their mortal parents living in the same area since they go to the same school
Clovis has actually been at the camp nearly the same amount of time as Annabeth due to his sleep powers hindering his mortal mothers life, she left on the hill.
Thalia and Grover set up small hidden demigod camps for quests since it's common for monsters to destory your supplies. They are able to do this because they travel a lot.
Percy, and Annabeth often invite Will and Nico over so they can help eachother with eachothers Tartarus experiences.
Percy and Annabeth consider Nico a little brother and let him stay over at anypoint once they have their own home.
Every year Percy has three birthday parties. One at camp courtesy of his fellow campers, one at his home with his closest friends, and his family, and one with his cousins where they go out. Often the one from hosted by Sally and Paul is the only one actually on his birthday. The other two often happen the next day.
After Jason's death Leo and Piper decided to start meeting up at least once durung the school year, to check up on eachother. They are sometimes joined by others.
Percy knows how to cook, on the other hand Annabeth is not the best at cooking.
Clarisse and Percy spar together for fun when either of them need a break from everything else in life.
Clarisse often treats Will like a little brother because of how young he was when he became head medic and how many times he healed her despite her rude words at first.
Magnus and Annabeth have meetups almost every month, occasionally Percy and/or Alex will tag along. Annabeth and Percy have yet to tell Camp.
Percy and Annabeth also often meet up with Carter and Sadie for food. They like to check up on the younger kids. Percaveth had yet to tell Camp about these two as well.
When Sally and Paul want a date amnight and Percy and Annabeth aren't available the rest of the seven or Nico and Will are open to babysitting Estelle so the two can still go out. Everyone loves Estelle.
Now for the changed storylines.
I would have had Percy and Annabth stand up for Nico more during the deabte to go save him from the jar as they have know him since he was ten and it just makes sense.
Caleo but platonic. I've seen many points made by others where it shows Caleo isn't the best and honestly it is a bit strange to resolve Leo's arc by giving him a romantic relationship with an immortal much older than him. So instead of having them date, I'd have them bond over them both having bad luck with relationships and give them a sibling relationship.
I would have Drew be mentioned much earlier, give her a big relationship with Silena. She's always with her sister, looking up to her. She was always kinda of a mean girl but she masks her sorrow about Silena with more hate.
Talk about Jason's missing memories more. He never fully got his back, have him ask Reyna about his life, and Thalia about their mother.
I would make Ares just... Less the way Rick made him. He respects girls in his myths, he supports the Amazons. Yet he abuses his daughter? Have him be a supportive father that just hates other demigods cause they think of him as mindless war disrespect his children.
Similarly I would change Hera. Yes, it makes sense for her to dislike Thalia and maybe other big three children because of the myths. But not any other demigods. She, along with being the goddess of marriage and childbirth, is also the goddess of family and women. So many demigods have horrible families, let her support them discreetly by allowing her cabin to be the cabin for unclaimed campers, or perhaps by leading young demigods to Artemis so she can help them get to camp.
More seafam shit. Percy and Triton bonding, Percy meeting his other godly siblings other than Kym, Amphitrite getting to know Percy and acting like a stepmother, etc, etc. I need more of this.
That's all I have for now! I may post an au ideas post soon. I have many aus, some inspired by fics and some are completely made up of my own dumb thoughts.

Twilight- Switch of Daylight: Chapter Eleven, Cliffs
(Alice x Reader x Jasper)
Tumblr media
[Ten] [Eleven] [Twelve]
Someone knocks on the truck door, startling me. I thought it was going to be Charlie but when it was Jacob instead, my eyebrows furrowed.
He opens the door and forces me to scoot over. I then look at the door to see Bella waving and then entering the house. "You apologized?" I asked, holding myself tightly. Not caring about anything else.
"Yes, and I need to apologize to you as well." He doesn't look me in the eyes as he says this. "It's fine Jake." I shrug it off but he disagrees.
"It's not fine. I didn't understand anything and immediately jumped on you. You're nothing like the Cullens." He says, I look up at him. "Jacob, the Cullens have done nothing to you." I cross my arms, "whatever, that's not the point of this talk. I should've never said those nasty things about you. Your situation... it's pretty serious and I'm sorry." He sincerely says in a soft tone. "I have another thing to bring up to you." He tells me and I nod for him to keep talking, bringing my knees up to my chest as I listened.
"Victoria, that red headed chick. You know she's after Bella-" "Yes I already knew that." I chuckled, "why?" My nose scrunches, confused on why he would bring something up I already obviously know.
"Well you know she's after you too right?" He asks, giving me a serious look and then I see in the forest line, Sam and Paul's wolves poking out. "Yeah, Laurent might've mentioned it." I look back to him, now tensed up from the conversation.
"I don't think it's to kill you though. I think she wants to trigger the curse." Jacob says, he's hesitant though. I think Sam fully explained everything to him for which I'm grateful but he should know I don't think I could ever truly trust him again. "Finish what James was trying to accomplish." I finish Jacob's words. Now thinking it all over. Before he turned me he said he wanted me to turn into a vampire so he could kill me and it would be permanent. But he didn't know if that was actually true.
"She figured out what James wanted to know." I sigh out, putting my head down.
He pulls me into his arms and I actually felt a tear pass my eyes, startling me but nothing that's supposed to make sense is anymore so I ignore it. "I'm scared, Jake." My body trembles as he holds me a little tighter.
"Hey, it's okay." He assures me, "we're gonna keep you safe." Even in the arms of Jacob all I can think about are Alice and Jasper.
The next day I decided to go hunting myself. I haven't gotten to do so in a while and I need to have enough strength to not react to other people's blood.
I'm not going to get into anything gory, of course attacking an animal I try to keep to a minimum due to the guilt I feel. Even if this is the better way I still hate doing this. Yeah, I ate meat as a human but I didn't have to do the killing to eat it. To my left I hear leaves rustling, almost scaring me until I realized it wasn't as close as I thought. Moments later a large body makes its way from the trees. I shake my head, smiling. "Hey Jake, Embry." I acknowledge the one behind him.
Jacob nods his head slightly, coming over to look at the animal I covered with leaves, then turning to look at me. "I uh, feel bad." I rub the back of my neck before wiping the blood from my mouth.
"Still on the search for Victoria?" I question as if I could understand them. I mainly go by body language. Embry huffs meaning they definitely still are. That was until we heard a laugh. Jacob gets in front of me and then we see a glimpse of red hair.
Jacob and Embry go after her as I stand there confused on if I should go help or not, then I remember I told Bella I'd meet her back at the house after hunting.
Racing home I get there to see Bella's truck gone. I begin to panic, using my speed ability to check around the house before thinking next of where she could be.
The guys weren't supposed to allow her to leave so most of them might be chasing after Victoria. I hurry up and  go to the Rez. Fuck, I don't know where she could be around here.
I run to Sam's house, banging on the door like a mad woman. It swings open and his face is furrowed.
"[Name], what happened?" I push past him in the house. "Where's my sister?" I look around, going into the kitchen then searching in other rooms. Only to bump into another woman.
"Sam, what's going on?" The woman asks, I push past her as well, going to go outside but Sam stops me.
"This is [Name], Bella's sister. And what's going on, why are you freaking out?" He questions me, I grow antsy, not wanting to answer him as I was just trying to find my sister. "[Name], what's going-" "Bella, where is she?" I glare at him. "You said you guys were gonna keep her safe, she was supposed to be at the house, where is she?" I start to grip back on his arm, visibly hurting him but I was not doing too goof. "It's okay, she was was just here." Sam attempts to calm me down.
"Yeah, she was looking for Jacob." The girl speaks up, I glance back at her. Then something comes back to me. The cliff. She wanted to cliff dive. "Thank you!" I point to the random woman I've never seen before.
Speeding out of the house, practically ripping my body out of Sam's grasp.
Arriving at the Cliff I look around, seeing Bella's truck parked. I hurry towards the water, Bella's body was falling to the water. "Bella no!!" I scream. She hit the ocean.
"Bella!" I cry out. Moments pass and then her body pops out. A huge relief settles in my body. Panic still over washed my face nonetheless. "Yes!" She laughs. Then a wave crashes over her, pulling her under the water. Without thinking I dive into the water once I hit the water I open my eyes, searching for Bella.
It takes longer than I liked but once I found her, her eyes were closed. I just barely grab her by her sleeve, once I have her I fix my grip to her waist. Swimming out of the water, making sure her head is above it.
Getting onto shore I try to remember what to do. I hear footsteps behind me as I begin CPR. "Oh my god, Bella." It was Jacob behind me, he gets down to his knees as well on the other side of her.
"Bella, please." I beg with her, dread entering my body. Jacob and I lift her torso up, hitting her back. Finally she spits out water.
"Bella!" "Bella can you hear us?" Jacob asks. "[Name]...? Jake?" She's attempting to focus on us, mainly staring at me. Sam stands behind us. "She'll be alright." He tells us, I stand up letting Jacob lecture her as mine will be far far worse.
I go over to Sam.
"Sorry..." I mutter. "Sorry?" His eyes widen slightly, surprised I'm talking to him to begin with. "For pushing past you, searching your house." I say, holding myself. Weirdly just now feeling the water drip from my clothes.
"Who was that girl?" I suddenly ask as he stayed silent after my apology. "That's Emily, Paul's imprint." He informs me.
I nod my head a little bit. "Oh," Was all I said in return before joining Bella and Jacob again.
"Get them home, I'm heading to the hospital, I'll meet you there!" Sam shouts over to Jacob who only nods in return. Sam jogs off.
"Why would you jump? Didn't you notice it's like a hurricane out here? You're lucky [Name] got here in time." Jacob turns back to my sister. "I know. It was stupid- Sam said hospital- someone's hurt?" She asks and then I realized what was said too and we both stare at him waiting for an answer.
"Harry Clearwater had a heart attack." He informs us. I close my eyes, knowing that's going to be heartbreaking for our dad. "Oh my god- does our dad know?"
"He and my dad are both over there." He says. "Will Harry be okay?"
"I don't know. Come on. I'll find you both something dry and drive you guys home." He tells us, helping my sister up. She then falls into my arms and we walk together as I hold her from the side.
Jacob both found us jackets but it was kind of irrelevant for me as I don't feel cold. Bella shivers though so Jacob pulls her close.
"Hundred and eight degrees over here." He smiles, she tucks herself further into him. "Must be nice, never getting cold." She says to the both of us, mainly to Jacob so I stay quiet. "It's a wolf thing." He shrugs it off. "It's a Jacob thing. You're just... warm." She compliments him. "Like the sun." He grins.
I roll my eyes from the subtle flirting he's trying to pull off. "Like the sun." Bella repeats him.
"Which like always comes back. You can count on me." He sincerely tells her. She only nods though. I feel her grow awkward. "There are other cool things about all this, like- I heal fast. Wanna see me stab my hand?" He jokingly messes with her. "Yeah, 'cause that would be fun." She sarcastically responds.
Jacob pulls the truck into our house. "So... this wolf thing's not all bad?" She changes the subject, I still decide to stay quiet. I feel tired almost which is weird but ignored like everything else has been. "It's better. Not that you know. But..." He grows quiet. "But..." She says, egging him on to continue. "It's just... comes so easily to me. More than the other guys."
"That's a good thing, isn't it?" She tilts her head.
"Maybe. Or maybe it makes me less human than the others." I notice him glance at me then back to Bella. It was quick, not exactly intentionally but I saw it.
"Sometimes I'm scared I might disappear, you know? Who I really am." Bella looks him directly in his eyes and this where I take it as a sign to get out of the truck.
They of course noticed it due to Bella's truck being so nosey but they continued with their conversation. I leaned against the truck, wanting to wait for Bella before I went into the house. I closed my eyes thinking about how Bella might not have made it. Moments later Bella opens her truck door but Jacob pushes her back into the trucking slamming her door before grabbing me and leading me back into the vehicle as well. "There's a bloodsucker out there." He says.
"Hey! Excuse me!" I motion to myself, I get a quick apology but then I notice the sense of another as well. "How do you know?" She questions. "He can smell us. Wolves and Vampires have distinct smells." I tell her.
"Yeah, and they reek. Sorry [Name] but it's true. And I'm getting you guys out of here." He pulls out of the driveway, whipping the truck around. "It's not Victoria!" I shout. And both Bella and I look in the driveway again. Realizing who it is. "Yeah, stop, it's not here!" Bella screams.
"Forget it." He shakes his head.
"It's Carlisle's car! They're here. Go back!" Bella orders him but he doesn't listen. "It's a trick-" He floors it so I take Bella, opening the door and jumping out causing Jacob to slam the breaks. I try to careg Bella bridal style, going to run off to the house but Jacob gets in front of us. I slowly put my sister back down. "Stop, you guys gotta come with me." He desperately says to us.
"It's okay. They're my friends." Bella argues. "Jacob something might be wrong if they're back." I plead with him. "Don't you get it? If a Cullen is back here, this is their territory. The Treaty says we can only defend our own lands." He explains to us.
"It's not a war." Bella disagrees. "It is. And you'll only be safe in La Push. I can't protect you here anymore." This isn't about me anymore. I'm only plus one because I'm Bella's sister.
"I don't need you to-" "You're about to cross a line." He cuts her off. "Only if you draw one." Bella states. We begin to move past him but he stops us. "I'm not letting you two do this." He says.
"You don't have a choice. We- I don't belong to you." She says, knowing it will hurt him, and it does. She sees it but she knows she can't take it back. He hands her the keys. "Bye, Bella. I hope you both don't die." Bella flinches from his words, he disappears in the woods. Leaving us in the road so I take the keys from her. Grabbing her arm so we can continue our way to the house.
But as we begins rustling noises start. She freaks out but I smell the scent of who it is and I instantly let Bella go. She screams though, stopping once she sees who it is. "Alice!"
"You're... alive." Alice seems confused. I stand back, completely silent at the sight of her. Bella hugs her. "Oh my god, Alice. You're here." Bella grins. "I heard voices- I didn't think it was you two but- you're alive." She repeats herself from the first time. "You keep saying that." Bella chuckles anxiously.
"I saw you- a vision of you- you jumped off a cliff. I knew I'd be too late but- Why the hell would you try to kill yourself?!" She suddenly grows angry. "I didn't I was cliff diving." Bella corrects her.
"Why?!"
"Um... fun?" Bella even questions it herself, knowing her answer isn't a good one. "That was fun for you." Alice looks her up and down. "Until I hit the water." She nods. "I have never met anyone more prone to life-threatening idiocy... and what is that hideous dog smell on the both of you?" Oh so she can acknowledge my existence.
"Oh, probably Jacob. He's kind of a werewolf."

Can I request and Embry x atera or uley reader where the reader is either Sam or quils sister and it shows them from dating before the imprint and then getting imprinted on and the brother being protective but when they get time alone things get 🥵 and midway through they get caught and they get chased and however ending I want
I'm gonna do my own cute tiny spin on this! But trust trust trust!!!
"Embry! Let me go!" The sixteen year old you squeals while you two play in the water.
You pull out of your daze and lock back in on the picture of Embry and Quil. Quil had sent you a selfie. You text back with laughing faces. You are so excited to go back home. Leaving La Push was a bad idea. You wanted to start over.
You wake up from your nap in the car and get back to driving. Just five more hours, and you're back home. You do miss Embry. You regret leaving him behind the most. Quil has moved in with Paul. There's no room for you there unless you sleep on the couch, so Emily offered you their spare room.
"Y/n Ateara! What the hell!" Jared hugs you. "Oh, hey!" You laugh. You see Kim come up behind him. "You're the amazing Kim! Quil tells me about you!" You let go of Jared and hug her. "It's good to meet you, y/n. I figured there were too many atearas around here!" She laughs and hugs you back. Quil pulls you out of her arms. "Okay! Okay! Enough! Let the girl breathe." He laughs. "Just letting you know, Embry is inside with everyone else." He whispers. You shrug and smile like you don't care. "We're grown now. It's over." You say. Quil nods his head and runs off to help Jared build the fire.
You walk inside and see everyone cleaning up. "Oh! You're here earlier than expected!" Emily looks up and walks over to you. "Emily!" You squeal and hug her tightly. "Oh, my girl!" She holds you. You guys pull away, and Embry and Jake walk up to you. "Hey, punk." Jake softly shoves you. "Hello, idiot. So weird to see all the short hair and muscles." You laugh. Your eyes go up to Embry's, and he's still in his stance.
Tumblr media
You can't look away. He's so hot. He's godlike. He's mesmerizing. Jake is eyeing him, and you pull out of your stare. "Embry Call." You sigh with a smile. He smiles slowly and then brings you into a hug. "I'm sorry for leaving you." You whisper. He rubs your back. He smells so good. "It's over now." He whispers back into your hair.
You sit at the fire and see Quil glaring at Embry. "Why's bro pissed?'' You lean and ask Paul. "You'll find out." He chuckles.
After learning all about the tribe, you understand. Paul is sitting next to you, explaining to you as the elders go over the legends. Embry and Quil are having a stare off. You belong to a SHIFTER?! AND YOUR BOTHER IS A SHIFTER?! IMPRINTING?! Rachel leans over and rubs your knee. "Don't worry, babes. You're always safe and loved." She reassures.
You stand up and make your way to embry. He is staring at you nervously. "Are you gonna run away again?" He asks, biting his lip. "No." You say. Quil steps in between you two. "Okay, we're done." He says. "Quil." You warn. Embry sighs, "Dude, you KNOW I can't help it." He replies. "Okay. And?" Quil growls. You reach over and pull Embry into you. "At least let me and him talk this out." You glare at Quil. "Fine." He says and walks away. "Do you want to go inside and talk in private?" You ask him. He nods his head. You interlock your hand in his and walk inside to the spare bedroom. He shuts the door behind you, and you plop on the bed. "Did you hurt when I left?" You ask. "Yes." He says. "Did you know you'd imprint on me?" He sits next to you. "No." He coughs and shifts. "Did you ever try again after us?" He looks over your face. You shake your head. "Me neither. I didn't want anyone else." He smiles. You smile back at him and rest your forehead on his shoulder. "I've missed you." You admit. "I love you." His words made you lift your head and look into his eyes. He puts his hand under your hair to grab the back of your neck. You lean in and kiss him softly. He kisses back, and you start to deepen the kiss. He groans and pushes you back. You lay on the bed with him on top of you. He uses his other hand to pull up underneath your knee. You throw your arms around his neck and buck your hips into his. He pulls away and roughly takes your shirt off. He animalistically kisses you roughly. You feel his teeth graze your lip. He pulls away and looks over your chest. "Never seen before." You giggle. His face reddens. "You're so beautiful." He gushes. He goes back down, and his lips attack your neck. He bites down, his teeth sinking into your sink slightly. You gasp and lean your head back. You bring your hands to the end of his shirt, slightly lifting. He pulls away from you and throws his shirt off. His hands make their way to grab your breast, and he kisses you more. You feel so high on him right now. You could never get enough of him. You feel him in between your legs. "Embry, I want you." You mumble against his lips. "Right here? Right now?" He asks. "Please." You beg. "I'm still getting used to my strength." He pulls away and looks at you. "If I hurt you, tell me." He says softly. You nod your head, knowing you want him rough.
The door opens, and you both look to see Quil. He's growling, and his muscles are popping out. "You're so fucking dead." Quil says, grabbing Embry and pulling him outside. You swiftly get up and put on your shirt. You follow them, calling out for Quil to stop. As soon as you guys make it outside, Quil shifts. You're taken aback. You just saw it. A wolf. "Woah! Hey! Quil! Calm down now!" Sam stands in front of him and is stern. Embry turns back to you. "Baby, back away." He says. "No! Embry! Do not!" Sam warns but embry phases too. "Damn it." He hisses and turns to Emily. The two wolves are growling at each other and circling around Sam. "Emily! Take everyone inside. Y/n, go!" He says.
Everyone is so quick to move. Sam phases and the three wolves go at it. Paul starts laughing. Jared slaps him. "Not funny, dude. I bet she's embarrassed." Kim hisses at him. You are. You really are.
"Y/n, go ahead and take a shower. We're wrapping things up. You can rest." Emily smiles, rubbing your shoulder. You nod your head and wave bye to everyone. You take your shower and get dressed in your cute pajama set. You step out to see Quil, Embry, and Sam sitting at the table. Quil and Embry are joking with each other, and that instantly calms your nerves. You step in, and Embry smiles up at you. "I'm sorry, sis. We're all good. I'm out of your relationship unless this dude hurts you. But he won't." Quil grabs his shoulder. You smirk and then sit next to Embry. "Well then, Sam, I know I was supposed to be staying here, but I think I'll stay with Embry tonight." Sam coughs awkwardly and stands up. "That's fine! Our house is always open!" He walks out. You look to see Quil raise his eyebrows and breathe in deep. "Have fun." He says and leaves. Embry stares at you in shock. "Let's go..." He gulps.

⚠️ TW WARNING⚠️
Yandere, toxic relationship, kidnapping, attempted break up on readers part.
Tumblr media
"What...? No, I wasn't trying to, you know I wouldn't do anything like that!" Tina says with a desperate tone as she closes in on you.
You take a step back to create distance, which causes her to look at you with an unreadable expression "yet you knowingly do it, I've told you repeatedly to stop doing things because they make me uncomfortable, Even after that you still do them." At this she seems to look away a couple of times before making eye contact with you.
"I swear it's never on purpose!" Before you're able to respond or do anything, she continues on."I promise I really mean it! It won't happen starting today!" She says in a pleading tone as she lightly scratches and squeezes her fingers.
"You're right it won't happen starting today because I want nothing to do with you." You quickly turn away before Tina can respond to your words. However, you don't get far before you're grabbed by the back of your shirt "Wait stop w-where are you going?"
Pulling away from Tina, she tries to grab you again, which only causes you to become more aggressive in keeping her hands away, which results in Tina becoming more desperate to hold onto you "please don't go! I promise! I promise I'll stop!" The struggle is enough to cause you to trip over your feet, causing both of you to almost fall.
"Will you stop already! Just leave me alone!" At your raised voice, Tina flinches back, her eyes squinted, fist raised to her chest in a self soothing manner, but it seems to have stopped her from trying to grab you again.
At this, you walk away from her and out of her room, looking back every so often to make sure she isn't behind you. While walking towards the front door, you see both Petra and Jake walking towards you. Upon seeing your upset face, Jake puts up his hand to stop you.
"What's wrong?" He tries to make eye contact with you, but you avoid his gaze looking over at the floor."Go ask Tina." You tell him before walking past him and Petra they both take a quick look at each other before Jake speaks up. "I'll go check on Tina. " Petra nods before following behind you.
That day ended with Petra taking you home and Tina's nonstop calling and texting until you had to block her number.
Despite this, the others sat around you during school hours. Petra or Jake may talk to you, but it's mainly Paul who tries to get you to speak to Tina again.
"Come on, you guys had an argument that's all there is to it. What's the big deal?" He says he says wrapping his arm around your shoulder. However, upon trying to move out of his grip, he tightens his forearm around your collarbone, keeping you in place "ok how about this you just come over you don't have to make small talk with her or anything but just be around like before" you look at him to reject but before you can he speaks up "please..." he says pleadingly.
Tumblr media
You don't know why you accepted, you never should've, it would've been better to just take the guilt and walk away from him, to ask for help if he refused to let you go yet you didn't.
Now, here you were watching your face plastered on the screen as your parents beg for your safe return, promising all that they have and more. At this, everything begins to blur as a sob escapes your throat.
"Why...?" Is all that you could muster before the tightness in your throat becomes too much for you to continue talking.
Tina sits beside you, stroking your back. "You tried to leave, I would've handled this better if you listened to everyone else about just coming back, but you wanted to be stubborn about it"
You wanted nothing more than to smack her away and yell, but you knew the consequences of that. You lost count of all the things she's done to you after some time. Things were bearable if you simply let it happen instead of constantly fighting back.
"It's ok...it's ok, come here, no more crying. I don't like it when you cry." Tina says, pulling you closer to herself, your head on her chest.
"They're still looking for me....you can't keep me here forever, tina." You say between breaths as you try to catch your breath. "Really? I would say otherwise, the news has stopped talking about you, your disappearance came and went as everything else does, your parents... let's say they aren't a worry." Tina strokes your head as she says this.
At this you feel you feel your body stiffen and your breath catch in your throat.
As you're about to question her, Tina runs her thumb over your lips before speaking, "That's enough for today. It's late, so let's get you ready for bed." At this, you go to speak up only to be met with Tina's side glance, causing you to keep your mouth shut.
You hate it. You hate the way you fear her. The way your body tenses up as she tucks you into bed and smooths the blanket around you, yet you can't help but let it happen even if you did fight back, you're just a human. Physically, you could stand a chance. However, if she decided to use her power, you'd be on the floor clutching your ears in pain, not only that it'd alert everyone in the house along with the others.
So as much as you want to shove past her as she walks out that door, all you can do is lay in this bed watching her back as she walks out able to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants.
"One more thing." This causes you to look over at her " I love you, Goodnight"
You don't want to say it but you have to yet everytime you do it feels as if you're about to vomit. "Y/N" This causes you to flinch your head back as she says your name with a warning edge to it.
"I-I love you too..."

What I did to you (Moon knight system x reader)
Tumblr media
Chase two girls, lose the one (Steven x reader)
Part 1
Words: 544
She was about ready to just block the number altogether, 25 missed calls 100 messages, all Steven, begging and pleading to talk to her. She sighs and  Opens the messages. A few stand out.
“Please call me back”
“Jake won’t talk to us.”
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.”
“You both mean a lot to me, I’ve never done this before”
“Remember that night I came home and you we’re in the living room Dancin' in your Levi's to that Paul McCartney Album?”
“I miss that. I miss us.”
“This was a mistake”
She closed the message app, she couldn’t look anymore eyes tearing up. Jake was alone and Steven was regretting the choice. But that didn’t make it right. Their feelings or hers. Marc married Layla long before the rest of them had a choice. She didn’t know what to do or how to do it. She wraps her arms around herself and looks around the room. So many memories right here, playing on the walls like shadows. Shadows of a love she once knew. She once knew them. Now she wasn’t so sure. Her phone rang and she didn’t look just hitting accept
“Hello?”
“Oh thank god you picked up.” Steven’s sweet voice came over the speaker
“Steven…we shouldn’t”
“I know, I-I know Love but I can’t help it, can I? I miss you, I feel like I’m suffocating.”
“What do you mean? I thought you wanted to work this out with Layla.” “I did, I honestly did, but it’s not going well. She’s very upset about the affair.”
“Well I don’t blame her I’m upset about the affair!” She replied sharply, she could almost hear him wince.
“I know love. I know.”
“Do you Steven? I thought I knew you. But you didn’t tell me, you we’re back from Cairo for months only I didn’t, I don’t feel like I knew any of you anymore.” She was tearing up
“Love please, don’t cry. I can’t stand to hear you cry.” Steven tries to comfort her but it just makes her angry
“Whatever Layla is making you do to make up for what happened is what you deserve…” She hesitates knowing what she wants to say will hurt him. “Steven, I was there before all of this, I loved you when you were just Steven with a V, from the gift shop. The little nerdy boy I fell in love with after a visit to the museum. I was the one who knew you, I was steady I was faithful, reliable. I knew you'd miss me once the thrill expired, when the adventure that Layla and Marc have was too much and you just want to sit on the couch and watch nature documentaries. But you made your bed now lie in it!” She feels the anger in her voice getting more intense and the damage was done.
“I thought…What I did to you…what we did…its unforgivable.” There was that word again, unforgivable. She was able to forgive Jake weeks ago. But she felt like she couldn’t this time.
“It really was Steven. I can’t forgive you.”
“I know. I’m sorry for bothering you.” He hung up.
“I still wish you’d come back to me” She whispers knowing he can’t hear her.

Bonus Poll #8: Puppet Poll
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda (stolen unedited from the wikis):
Immortal Doll (Friends at the Table: Bluff City)
The immortal doll is a puppet doll similar in appearance to a little boy. After being broken by the Neighbour family, the doll was repaired by Marlin Guppy, who was somehow able to give it additional sentience (as all objects have partial consciousness). It has been speculated that “the paint makes [the doll] immortal because the paint never dries”. Although the immortal doll cannot speak, while covered in magnets in Part Five of America's Playground it can make an affirmative and negative sound. When seen in America’s Playground, he is dressed in a little suit with a magnetic suit underneath. The immortal doll is described as long long-limbed and gregarious, leaving a dripping trail behind it. He moves as though he’s falling in a very specific way, as though his limbs are connected by rubber bands, similar to the spider man in Spirited Away. Known Abilities: Transporting to a different location Movement Getting longer (may be dependent on how many people are looking at it) "Speaking" (when covered in magnets)
Nikola Orsinov (The Magnus Archives):
Nikola Orsinov is a recurring character in the Magnus Archives and is either an acolyte or an aspect of The Stranger. She appears as a plastic female mannequin dressed as a circus ringmaster, although she can disguise herself as human using stolen skin and a 'borrowed' voicebox. She is the main antagonist of Season 3.
(Sorry for lack of audio propaganda. The Magnus Archives is the most well-known of these anyways.)
Persnickety Pete (The Bridge):
Persnickety Pete aka Parsnip Paul aka Pretentious Pierre aka Particular Pietro is a ventriloquist dummy and mayor of Ocean View. Persnickety Pete has vacant eyes, a creepy smile, and a tux, like one would expect a ventriloquist dummy to look. He was part of a new act for Ocean View's Triton's Follies, where he cycled through a variety of partners (who he most likely killed). After an issue with the Actors Association, he was declared mayor of Ocean View, purging all of the actors in the process. He attacked Frank Hayward for disrespecting him and turned the man's arm into something that resembled a crushed tomato. Persnickety Pete is a showman, and while he is both creepy and violent, he puts The Show above all else. He becomes easily upset when people aren't nice to him, and will lash out. He likes to try to convince people to put him in front of mirrors.
(The work assembling the song from the clips in the episode was done by @greerbaiting and you can reblog the audio by itself posted by them.)
Inspired by @the-puppet-bracket and a post by @equalseleventhirds!

Paul Lahote x Reader Imprinting
@baylexxxx this is WAY longer than you were probably expecting but I got so into it! please enjoy. I’m totally down to add a part 2 to this…perhaps a very spicy one…
The Imprint
Jesus, (y/n), you really gotta slow it down next time
Jacob’s surprised and slightly exasperated voice filled your thoughts.
You were still struggling with the concept of constantly having another person’s thoughts in your mind. Hell, you were still getting used to being a shapeshifting werewolf, for crying out loud.
You had accidentally tackled Jacob in your process of shifting into a wolf, it being only your fifth time ever shifting. You were struggling with controlling your impulse and intentionally shifting on purpose, as the first time you’d shifted had been unexpected - and quite painful.
You ran through the trees, following behind Jacob who was several hundreds yards ahead and leading you to the top of the cliffs where the wolves often came together for pack meetings. You felt your massive paws hitting the mossy forest floor with great force, and it felt so effortless. Your strong canine body moved without resistance, muscles pushing you forward in ways you’d never experienced in your human body. It was addictive.
You were living with your father, Jack, down at La Push, who’s been estranged from the rest of your family for quite some time. He never wanted to leave La Push due to his familial and tribal ties, and your mother took you with her when she left him, never truly understanding or caring for your father’s heritage with the Quileutes. After years of a rocky and bitter relationship with your mother, you left New York three weeks ago to reconnect with your father, only to be met with the shocking reality of your genetic inheritance. Your mother had hid much of your father’s past from you, never telling you where he was, and never wanting you to reconnect with him. You had done months of searching online, and finally found distant relatives, eventually leading you back to your long-lost father in La Push. Now, you knew what she was so afraid of. And you despised her for it. Embracing your true identity had brought you to the happiest, albeit confusing and shocking, place you’d ever known.
Sorry Jake, think I’m still getting used to the feeling…you thought back in response to his complaint about your less than perfect shifting.
Don’t worry, (y/n), we’ve all been there! Seth’s sweet and calm voice filled the silence, and you could feel Jacob getting annoyed with the fact that Seth had phased in order to tag along with you on your patrol.
Seth, aren’t you supposed to be at Leah’s engagement party? Jacob thought back.
Psh, they won’t even know I left! Leah’s still drooly over Kai, she doesn’t notice anything else around her half the time.
You started pondering the idea of Leah being so head over heels for her recent fiancé, and due to the boys being able to hear your every thought and feeling, Jacob picked up on your questions quickly.
Imprinting does that to you, (y/n). It’s weird for us to see her so mushy too. We didn’t even think Leah COULD imprint.
Yeah, she finally has someone to put all her love into who actually wants it, I sure am happy for her Seth’s sweet tone and emotion filled the space, and you could feel the brotherly love he had for her emanating from him.
Huh…you thought to yourself, interesting how you and Leah were the only two female wolves in the pack. And here Leah had imprinted, something they were unsure she’d ever be able to do. You wondered if that meant that you could ever…
You bet your ass you can. Jake’s thought broke you from your internal dialogue.
Ugh. I REALLY don’t enjoy having a couple of men in my head and knowing my every thought. Now I get what Leah meant when she said she was grateful to have another girl around here now.
Oh, please. Jacob thought back sarcastically as he began slowing down his pace in front of you. Light broke through the trees and you could now hear Seth’s heavy paws hitting the soft ground behind you as he came up from lower on the mountain. Jacob shook out his russet fur and huffed, stepping into the clearing in front of you. You looked down at your paws, and wondered if you looked as cool as Jacob did as a wolf. Silly to be self conscious even in wolf form, but you were still you…
Don’t worry (y/n), you’re a pretty sick lookin wolf Seth thought in response to your pondering.
Embarrassed at the boys hearing your mind’s vulnerable worries, you tried changing your train of thought.
Yeah, honestly, you are kinda badass looking… Jacob thought, amused at your attempt to backtrack.
Jacob’s compliment peaked your curiosity and you huffed at him, poking his thick furred side with your muzzle playfully as you now came up beside him at the edge of the cliff face.
Jacob’s rich brown wolf eyes met yours, and you saw the familiar boyish, impish, twinkle in them that was so prominent in his human form. You thought back to the first time seeing yourself in wolf form after your second ever shifting, in the reflection of the large living room window of the Blacks’ house in the backyard. Your fur was a soft pearlescent white, with a rich black undercoat, causing your fur to look multi-dimensional and to change tone in different lighting. Your ears were black-tipped, as if they’d been dipped in paint, and your golden wolf eyes glowed against the stark white backdrop of your face.
You flirting with me, Black? You thought back jokingly, trying to deflect from the compliments.
Jacob barked an unbothered laugh in response, shaking out his massive head and flicking his large muzzle towards the cliff face, directing you to keep moving.
Seth was right behind you now, and you were getting a hang of recognizing each of the wolves’ personal scents. Seth’s was musky and sweet, sweeter than Jacob’s, who had more of an earthy note to it.
Hear that, Jake? A girl thinks I smell better. Ha!
You rolled your eyes at the boyish mocking and tried to focus on the task at hand, memorizing the lay of the land around La Push.
You spent the next few hours with Seth and Jacob, running through the trees and taking in new scents, exploring this new world of beauty and heightened senses that you would’ve never thought possible before.
Later that evening, at the Blacks’ house:
The boys had shifted back first, leaving you to be in your wolf form by yourself for a few minutes as they headed into the house, so that you could shift without worrying about being naked in front of them. Maybe one day you’d be able to do it like Leah, without freaking out. You focused and closed your eyes. You began to breathe evenly and intentionally, urging your body to return to its natural state. You shuddered and gasped as your body transformed and phased back to your human form, your body tingling and burning with the sensation. It truly was a bit painful and jarring, and you wondered if that would ever really go away. You grabbed the loosely stacked clothing that was folded up at the bottom of the big pine tree by the edge of the yard, and hid behind the tree as you swiftly put the soft black sweatpants and hoodie on, eager to not be ass naked in the middle of the woods anymore. You shook your long hair out and grabbed the brown utility boots sitting on the pine-needle blanketed forest floor, pulling them onto your feet and jumping slightly as you gathered your balance on one foot to do so.
Finally, you felt put together enough to be able to join the others. With a huff, you stuffed your hands into your front hoodie pocket and walked across the vast yard towards the house, out from the tree-line. The Blacks’ house was glowing with warm light from within, string lights hanging down from the beams over the back porch. You smiled to yourself as you thought of how beautiful your new home was, here in La Push. Your Dad’s house was only a few houses down from the Blacks’. It was so different from New York, and you were grateful for that. Greenery and trees were everywhere you looked. You breathed deeply, letting the smooth and clear mountain air fill your lungs. You’d never get tired of that. You looked over to the Blacks’ driveway and saw your Dad’s blue truck, causing a smile to light up your face. You skipped more eagerly towards the back door of the house, happy to see your Dad after the exhausting day. After years without a father in your life, and only the crappy flaky men your mom brought around, having your dad in your life was incredible. He had missed you so much, and had been searching endlessly for you, too. Your mom had blocked his number and taken you without much notice, knowing that his loyalty to the tribe would ensure he never strayed too far from La Push to search for you. He had lived alone for years, until only two years ago when he had met and imprinted on his wife, Nayla. You were glad he had someone, and were even more grateful that he was ten times the parent you had ever expected him to be. He was your guiding light when you first arrived to La Push three weeks ago, and when within days you had developed an intense fever that had knocked you on your ass, causing you to be bed-bound for a week. He had explained the stories of the tribe to you, stressing the importance of not resisting the natural changes your body was going through, and trusting in yourself to remain calm. Your dad was in his fifties now, and had left his days of shape shifting behind a few years ago, leaving the wolf duties to the several twenty-something’s and teenagers that were rapidly joining the pack after the Cullens came through town.
You pulled open the old, heavy wooden backdoor and stepped into the warmly lit kitchen.
The scent of something savory filled your nose, and your mouth watered. You hadn’t realized how hungry you’d been after adventuring through the mountains all day.
“Hey, there she is! What’s up kiddo?,” your Dad entered the kitchen through the large entryway to the living room, a wide grin on his tan face.
You smiled back, pausing in front of the sink to turn to him.
He strode forward to hug you, swinging you back and forth slightly. It still amazed you how large the Quileute men were, and you smiled at how your height made so much more sense to you now; being 5’10 and lanky never really added up, your petite mother only 5’5 and shrinking at that. Knowing your height was something your dad gave you genetically caused you to feel a pride in it you’d never quite felt before.
“Hey, Dad,” you said back lightly, hugging him in return and groaning out a strained, “Okay- Too! Tight!”, when his massive arms became a bit too restrictive. He pulled away, standing back and putting his hands on your shoulders, eyeing your face from a distance.
“Well, now, how was your first patrol, huh?,” he said with another toothy grin.
You rolled your eyes and smiled again, trying to avoid letting your Dad see any of your new-pack-addition anxiety.
“It was, ya know, pretty cool,” you said with a nonchalant shrug.
“Yeah, right, you were lovin it (y/n)! Sniffing all over the place and running around like a rocket. Just admit it, you think it’s super cool,” you heard Jacob’s taunting, booming voice come from the living room, and several different laughs echoed into the kitchen along with his.
You felt heat flush to your face, and turned toward the counter to see where the good smell was coming from. You heard your dad’s low chuckle from behind you.
“Listen, kid, I’m glad it’s going well. If anything’s ever bothering you, let me know, alright?,” Your dad said casually, clearly trying to play off how much he loved finally playing a parental role in your life. His hand gently squeezed your shoulder. You turned to shoot him a warm, grateful smile.
“Thanks, Dad. I will,” you replied.
He gestured toward the oven, “Warm lasagna in there for ya, too,” He said before bending down to grab a beer from the fridge and heading back with a content sigh towards the living room, cracking the can open loudly.
You piled a double serving of the deliciously aromatic lasagna onto your plate, feeling more ravenous by the second. You took your plate and a fork and headed into the living room where Jacob, Seth, Billy, your dad, Sam & Emily, and Leah & Kai were lounging and eating as well, all surrounding the large tv and a crackling log-fire in the fireplace. You eyed the room, looking for somewhere to settle in. Seth met your eyes and grinned from across the room. He scooted over on one of the dark green couches and moved his plate of lasagna into one hand so that he could pat the spot next to him with the other. You felt yourself flush pink again and headed over to the couch, gratefully taking the spot next to him and starting to chow down on your dinner.
You spent the next couple of hours laughing and chatting with the lot of them, and after a while your Dad said his goodnights and headed home, Billy went to his room, and Leah and Kai were in the kitchen baking multiple batches of brownies. Your interest was immediately spiked when Sam mentioned the rest of the pack’s return.
“Yeah, the guys should be getting back pretty shortly now,” you heard Sam mumble to Emily and Jacob as they sat on the floor in front of the fire.
You had been told when you first became aware of your newfound family that several of the pack’s members were away, in their human forms and traveling up to Canada. Jacob had told you that the pack had come across some news of other wolfpacks living up in the Northern Yukon area, and they had wanted to see if the stories had any validity to them.
You looked up as you heard Sam’s comment. He was already glancing toward you, as were Emily and Jacob.
Suddenly, Leah’s face popped around the corner from the kitchen. “Oh great, (y/n), you’ll be meeting the rest of the pack tonight. Get ready for that,” Leah said with an eye-roll, leaning through the doorway to peek in at you. Her hands were covered in flour and she had the white powder dusted across her blue shirt. Her fiancé, Kai, appeared next to her in the doorway. He chuckled and threw his large arm around her shoulder, tugging her against him, causing her exasperated expression to soften and turn into one of warmth and devotion.
“That bad, huh?,” you responded with a laugh.
Jacob shook his head, his mouth full of a bite of his third brownie of the night, “Nah. You’ve already met Jared and Quill, can’t get much more annoying…,” He cocked his head to the side then, narrowing his eyes and thinking, seeming to second guess his own words, “Well, actually, now that I say that-”
Seth interrupted Jacob to scoff and exclaim, “Oh please, you think Quill has anything on the wrath of Paul? She’ll wanna leave the pack by the time she gets a load of him….”
Jacob snickered in response, shoving the rest of the brownie into his mouth.
Sam’s stoic voice filled the room then, his normally wise tone laced with amusement now, “Cut it out, guys. Don’t scare her off.”
His gentle gaze turned to your face now, seemingly trying to gauge how seriously you were taking the boys’ warnings, “It’s just Embry, Paul, and Collin. They’re all fine. Embry and Collin are nice kids,” he finished.
Seth chuckled, and muttered under his breath, “See how he didn’t put Paul under that nice guy description?”
Sam’s eyes darted to Seth’s face, clearly having heard his comment.
“Paul’s got a… a temper, sometimes, that’s all. Easily provoked into phasing. He’s a rough around the edges kinda guy; we all put up with it,” Sam said curtly, shooting a look at Seth. You saw Emily crack a smile, her eyes flicking to yours. She had been so kind to you since your arrival, expressing her gratitude that more women were joining the pack, as she didn’t have many girlfriends in the reservation, and also liked the idea of some levelheaded females balancing out the testosterone-filled wolf pack. You gave her a warm and slightly timid smile.
Suddenly, a low and deep rumbling sound could be heard coming up the dirt road outside, and the rumbling could even be felt through vibrations in the floor of the house. You glanced over towards the big window next to the couch, and could see a large black pickup truck pulling up alongside Jacob’s Volkswagen Rabbit outside the house.
“Speak of the devil,” Jacob muttered under his breath, picking up the fire poker to adjust the logs in the fireplace with a sigh. The ringing sound of a timer going off flowed out from the kitchen.
“Brownies are done!,” Leah called from the kitchen, and Seth grinned at the announcement of the second batch of brownies of the night being almost ready.
“Jeez, wolves really can eat,” you mumbled, slightly annoyed at your own massively increased appetite since your transformation. Sam chuckled deeply.
“Gotta keep up with these bodies, (y/n),” Sam replied gently, patting his stomach, “It’s a blessing and a curse.”
Just then, the rumbling engine cut off, and the sound of a truck’s doors slamming and deep voices alongside heavy footsteps could be heard coming up the walkway towards the back door. You felt your heartbeat quicken, and internally wondered why you were feeling so nervous. Maybe it was because you were meeting more members of a pack you’d be part of for many years to come. Maybe you felt anxious to be good enough, one of the only two women in the male-dominated pack. You were going back and forth with your inner dialogue when the back door loudly swung open, creaking and slamming as the three massive men entered the small house.
“Yo, yo!,” You heard a baritone voice coolly ring out from the other room, and the sound caused goosebumps to raise across your arms. Two other male voices announced greetings, one of them commenting on the delicious brownie smell.
The backdoor of the home entered directly into the small kitchen, and you heard Leah and Kai greet the three boys. Although you could not yet see them due to the separation of the two rooms, they sounded like they took up a considerable amount of space in the tiny kitchen.
“Aw, damn it! I was hoping you’d stay in Canada forever,” you heard Leah’s playful voice exclaim.
A rough, deep chuckle sounded out from the kitchen, and again your body had an involuntary response, a twitch running through you and a shiver hitting your spine.
“Yeah, yeah, save it Leah. You missed me,” the same rough voice responded, and you almost gasped out loud at the odd familiarity the sound held. The voice was like velvet to your ears, and you felt a pang run through you, as if you had been shocked by a small electric sensation.
Seth glanced over at you from his spot next to you on the couch, eyeing you for a moment, before he hoisted himself up off the couch and casually walked over to the wide entryway into the kitchen. Sam and Emily stood up as well, eager to greet the boys. Jacob sat in front of the fire still, stoking the fire. He shot a glance over to you, and his eyes widened slightly.
“You good, (y/n)?,” He asked curiously, his voice quiet and slightly alarmed. You locked your eyes with his. You must’ve looked a little off, judging by Jacob’s brow suddenly furrowing in confusion and concern. You felt extremely comfortable with Jacob; he was one of the pack Alphas, and he had helped guide you through your first few phasings with such calm leadership and praise. He made you feel inherently safe due to his confident and empathetic presence. Maybe it was for that reason, or due to the fact that he’d already been inside your brain and known your thoughts and feelings for days on end now, that you felt the ability to speak your mind.
“I-… I’m not sure, I- I feel kinda… weird,” You whispered quietly, feeling your hands begin to sweat and become clammy. Jake’s eyes narrowed, and he stood up, brushing the ash from the fireplace off of the seat of his pants. He seemed to be about to speak again when the muffled and upbeat conversation in the kitchen suddenly mentioned your name, and you both paused.
“Yeah, the new addition. (y/n). She’s right in there, with Jake. Seth and him have been showing her the ropes,” Sam’s gentle voice rang out. There was silence, then a few muffled responses.
“Hey now, you didn’t tell us the new one was a girl, Sam! - So old man Jack does have a daughter? Damn, I always thought the guy was crazy when he said he had a kid somewhere and couldn’t find her…,” a new voice responded, a younger sounding and more upbeat tone. Collin, maybe? - you wondered to yourself. The voice didn’t have nearly the same effect that that first voice had just had on you, and you were anxiously waiting to hear it again, your subconscious desperate for the sound for some reason you couldn’t justify in your mind.
The muffled laughs cut off suddenly, and silence again fell across the house, this time filled with a tension that you felt oddly hyperaware of as you stared past Jacob at the lapping flames of the fire. A few brief moments passed, then Sam’s gruff voice sounded slightly alarmed, causing you to glance up from the fireplace. “You alright, Paul?”
You and Jacob both looked up at the same time towards the entryway to the kitchen, where a massively tall, well muscled and extremely handsome man stood, his impossibly large frame practically filling the wide doorframe.
He was holding a brownie in his hand, which within seconds was on the floor, his hand seeming to slip and not even register that it had dropped something, his fingers still outstretched as if the brownie remained within them.
His dark eyes were locked directly on you.
The moment your gaze met his, his expression became impossibly soft. It was filled with warmth, his cheeks suddenly flushing and his features smoothing. His lips parted slightly, and a huff of air escaped from his mouth.
Your heart and lungs felt like they no longer knew how to function. You heard a small, sharp gasp, and it took a moment before you realized it had come from your own mouth.
A familiarity surged through you, coursing along your skin and underneath your flesh, an entirely foreign feeling pumping along your nerves. It felt as though this man was…. not a man, but a soul, standing before you. A soul you knew. A soul that had been waiting for you to come home this entire time - this entire time you’d been somehow existing without it. It felt as though you’d truly, really known him.
As if you’d known him since the beginning of time, though you had never laid eyes on him before. Logically, you knew that. You knew that you didn’t know him. And yet?
“Holy shit,” You heard Jacob whisper from across the room, as he stood still in front of the fireplace. It was clear he was witnessing the two of you, although you couldn’t really register that. You couldn’t feel your body, or the couch beneath you anymore. You couldn’t feel anything other than the reunion of your soul with his. You felt, for the first time, like a seedling, who had been stretching up through packed dirt for its entire existence, searching tirelessly and endlessly for the sun, never knowing why you were growing and reaching upwards without end, but knowing there must be something up there - something just for you. It was as if your entire being had been yearning for its own self, its missing half, and you’d had no idea. You yearned for him, you felt like you had missed him. Like you were reuniting with a love you’d known many forevers ago.
And here he was, standing before you.

Angst/Fluff
"Paul?" No one could ever be prepared the feel the pain I had just felt. It felt like someone had put their hand in my chest and ripped my heart out. Blood began pouring from my nose and I hunched over holding my chest in pain. Sam ran forward catching me before my head could collide with the floor. I screamed in agony, Scratching at my chest wanting the pain to stop. I could feel my skin tear, chunks of blood and flesh under my nails. "Stop her, hold her arms" I heard someone shout. "Someone get Lahote now" My arms were pinned down and judging by the fact I couldn't' lift them, a wolf must be holding me still. The tears turned to blood as the pain got worse and worse. "Please" I begged, trying my best to pull my arms up to scratch at my chest. My vision was slowly giving up on me, I couldn't tell if it was from the blood or how weak my body began to feel. Suddenly it stopped, the pain stopped. But my body grew weak and I found it hard to keep my eyes open. Cold water was pressed on my face washing away the blood from my face and chest. I opened my eyes weakly seeing Emily smiling down sadly at me. "I'm so sorry sweetheart" As my vision slowly cleared I noticed all the worried faces around me. Jake, Embry, Emily and Sam. And soon after Paul joined them. He fell to his knees beside me, clasping his hands around my face stroking my cheek softly with his thumb. "I'm so sorry" I looked at him slightly confused. "Why? It wasn't your fault" I managed to get out. He looked at Jacob who stood up, his chest rising and falling at a fast pace. "Tell her or I will" Jacob pointed towards me as he spoke. Paul gulped and then sat down beside my head again. "Let's sit her up first" Sam said. Everyone agreed and helped me to sit up slowly. Emily ran in and came out with a cup of cold water. "Here you go, take a few sips" She held the cup to my lips as I took a couple sips. "Thank you" She nodded and stroked her hand against my head. "Y/N" Paul called, placing himself in front of you. "I'm so sorry" I looked up at him again, a few tears glided down his rosy cheeks. "Don't cry, it's not your fault" Jacob growled behind me. "It is" I furrowed my brows together, waiting for him to continue. "I wanted to break the bond, I didn't want you to be my imprint" I looked at him with a blank expression. I couldn't' tell what hurt more, the pain of the imprint being broken, or his words. A tear slipped passed my eye, and I didn't try to wipe it away. I just let it fall. "I'm sorry you got stuck with me" I nodded and tried to get up, almost falling in the process. But Embry kept me steady. "I'd like to go home please" Y/N wait let me finish" I shook my head at him as more tears fell. "Why did you stop? You should have just let me die" His face softened, reaching out for me. "No, you will listen to me" He grabbed a hold of your hand making you face him. "Y/N, I didn't want you to be my imprint because you're not safe with me. You will always be a target and look at me, Y/N you could have done so much better" I scoff at his reasoning. "Did you not think that maybe I'm safer With you, and wanting to be with you is my decision, you can't control that" He let go and just stood staring at me, his tears still falling. I reached out, which surprised him a lot, and wiped his tears away. "I love you, and I always have, even before the imprinting" He looked at me, listening to what I was saying. "I'm sorry, I want you, no one else" I smile sweetly at him. "I need time okay?" He looked at his feet before eeting my gaze again. He nodded and pulled me into a hug.

Guilt & Revenge: Hallucinations
Whumpcember, Day 4: Hallucinations
Guilt & Revenge Masterlist
Awww look it's Amber's very first time being tortured! I loved writing this but now I don't have a buffer anymore... whoops. I hope you enjoy, lmk if you wanna be added to the taglist! I also wanted to say that, although I won't be adding it to the tw's since it's not really noticable in the story, this is TECHNICALLY minor whump cuz at this point in the story Amber is still seventeen.
Taglist: @silentlysurffering98
TWs: captivity (on a boat), hallucinations, sensory deprivation (tied down + blindfold), muzzle, sea sickness, messed up sense of time, off-screen abduction, mention of ADHD and hunger
Amber tried to fight back while they tied him up, but Paul and Eileen were just stronger than him, especially with him being exhausted as fuck. He could barely even struggle when they muzzled, and blindfolded him. He cursed them out and yelled at them, but it made no difference at all. Then, once he was secured to the bed, if you could even call it that, he heard them leave.
His mind was racing. This was sure to be the first of many tortures he would be forced to endure. From what they’d told him, they seemed to be starting easy. Maybe he would get lucky and everything would remain this basic, and everything they’d mentioned had just been hyperbole and bluff. Sensory deprivation was easy enough… for now.
Amber couldn’t tell how long it took time to pass. Everything seemed to be taking an eternity, but any time he tried to think about how long it might have been, it only felt like a few minutes. His thoughts drifted everywhere- movies, things that had been said, his childhood, how fucked up this situation was, his friends. It was almost like normal nights when he got lost in thought, occasionally chuckling at how ADHD his mind was. The rope binding him and the uncomfortably warm leather of the muzzle strapped to his face reminded him that it was not at all the same. He didn’t even know if it was night at all.
He thought of Noah-Elise. He thought of the painting she gave him that he’d been meaning to hang up. He thought of Trevor’s recent idea of adding alcoholic milkshakes and slushies to the menu at Tipped, and how Dave had actually taken it seriously. He thought about how neither of his parents would have ever done that, taken him seriously like that, if they’d even theoretically had a business like that. He thought about the first months after he moved out, how grateful he was, how he could finally start living his own life, how Dave and Zander had supported him in ways his biological parents never had. He thought about his family, his real family, his FOUND family. He thought of Jake. If Jake was here, he would have been able to overpower them. They would be out by now… and Jake would be pissed.
The bobbing of the boat was making him nauseous, especially without his sight. He had no idea where he was- he just knew it was on a boat, which seemed to be home-renovated specifically for him to have a cell. He knew.. actually, yeah, he should put together everything he knew. He knew the boat was bigger than the cell. He could only see the other half of the room he was in, but he knew there was more. He had no idea what body of water the boat was in. He didn’t even know if he was still in the same state- Hell, he could be in Canada for all he knew.
Suddenly, a sound brought him out of his thoughts. Footsteps, right next to him- but he hadn’t heard anyone enter the boat, hadn’t heard the boat they'd left in returning. Had they actually left? How long had it been? “Who’s there?” He tried to sound demanding, but ended up sounding like a scared little kitten trying to roar.
Nobody answered. Nobody came close to him. It was silent.
He was sure there’d been a sound. Right? He was sure?
He was sure.
….
He wasn't sure.
What if there hadn’t been a sound? Was he going insane? How long in complete solitude, unable to see or move, would it take for someone to become insane? How long had it been? Thirty minutes, six days? More, less? How could he know? He didn’t fucking know! He was hungry. So, maybe just a few hours. When was the last time he ate? He was hungry when he was abducted, too. Did they give him food? He had no clue. Couldn’t remember.
He heard something, in the corner, like water dripping. He turned his head towards the sound, but it made no difference- the simple fabric of the blindfold robbed him of his sight.
Was he imagining it? Or might the boat have a leak? Would they leave him here long enough to drown? He tried to struggle against his restraints again, but found his limbs feeling weak and hollow. It was a feeling he knew intimately during his childhood, the feeling you get when you haven’t eaten in a day or so too long. He thought there might be black spots in his vision, which would help him further narrow down how long he’d gone without food, but being blindfolded and all, he couldn’t quite tell.
Tears formed puddles by his eyes, and he shook his head wildly to try to get them away, since his hands were tied. The movement made his head feel incredibly light.
Amber inhaled sharply as he awoke. What? No. He hadn’t been asleep.
Shit…
Shaking his head had made him pass out. Fuck. For how long?
Seconds? Minutes? Hours?
More?
Time trickled past him, like the water softly finding it’s way from the pile of snow it melted from. Time was thundering past, trying to drown him, like he was stuck in a large waterfall, making it hard to breathe. Time was wind, playing with leaves on the other side of the room.
Why could he hear wind? There was no wind in the windowless cell in the belly of a boat in an unknown location.
There wasn’t any firewood to be crackling, making him flinch with how close it sounded to his face.
There wasn’t any marble for high heels to click on, and nobody was walking around him.
There wasn’t… he didn’t think there was a clock, driving him mad with the needless precise ticking, but there might have been.
The last thing he’d been focused on yesterday was if there was a clock or not. He wished he had, even fleetingly, noticed if there was.
There weren’t any animals growling in his ear. There really, simply, just weren’t.
He heard them all anyway.
Amber felt parched. He was so, so thirsty. He was hungry, too, but fuck he needed water. He’d do anything for a glass of water. The tears stopped at some point, he couldn’t tell when. Time was a haze. His mouth felt like a goddamn desert. He wanted to cry.
How long had it been? Two days? Five? Seven? Would they leave him like this to die? How long did he have left if he was left this way?
What if it had only been hours? Was it possible to get this thirsty, this hungry, in less than a day? Was he delusional? If they came back, would they ever tell him how long it had been? Would he ever know?
Fuck, he hated them so much. He felt so helpless, tied down to an uncomfortable-as-shit bed. He wanted to beat them up and get the hell out of this place. He felt so seasick, he was honestly surprised he hadn’t thrown up. He wanted the police, or Jake, or Dave, or hell, he’d settle for Lore or even his father,  to bust down the doors, rip off his blindfold, untie him, and get him out. He wanted out.
He heard it, a few times. Voices in the distance that he recognised- Jake, or Noah-Elise, or his friends, or Dave, or some combination. Someone opening the cell door. Sirens. Sounds that indicated he was being saved, alongside the other sounds. The random ones.
The fire and the clock and the growling.
His whole body felt numb. He was slipping in and out of consciousness, or maybe he was falling asleep. Where was the boundary between excessive thought and dream? It was dark before his eyes either way. He couldn’t move, and it felt like circulation to his legs had been cut off. Maybe they were turning blue and purple and black and falling off. He didn’t know.
Amber didn’t know. He was going fucking insane, and he was stuck. He couldn’t do anything.
He just wanted to go home.

synopsis: embry forgets to let reader know he shares thoughts with the pack. reader finds out and is fuming the whole pack knows about their sex life but quickly realizes she has a kink for everyone knowing embry owns her
warnings: smut, dom!embry, sub!reader, and a lil bit of angst
word count: 2.88k
you were at emily young’s house, putting away the groceries you had ordered for her so she’d have a full fridge to come back to when she got back from her brief weekend getaway with sam. you had just sat down at her kitchen table when quil and jacob had come trampling into the house in a flurry of hoots and hollars about something you couldn’t quite make out.
“y/n!” jacob exclaimed when he saw you, immediately coming to sit in the chair next to you as you raised your eyebrows at him expectantly, not sure what all the commotion was about, “you seriously gotta tell embry to keep his thoughts under control, that man thinks of some wild shit with you in bed,” he laughed, leaning back in the chair as quil also let out a loud laugh as he came to sit down across the table from you.
you frowned, not totally sure what they were talking about, “his thoughts to himself?” you asked with a soft laugh while you thought through how on earth he was going to explain that stupidity.
“his thoughts,” jake started with a soft laugh, “he needs to keep them to himself cause we can see everything in that man’s head,” he explained, both him and quil letting out loud laughs as they watched your expression go from calm to thoroughly disturbed and shocked.
“you can hear his thoughts?” you started just as the man of the hour came inside breathlessly, immediately looking over at you with a sympathetic look on his face.
“duh,” quil laughed, grabbing one of the muffins from the pile in the middle of the table to pick at while they explained themselves to you.
you frowned, looking over at embry as you tried to process why on earth he failed to let you know that the entire pack could see and hear everything going on in his head which presumably included some rather intimate memories of you.
“y/n,” he started, stepping over to you but you just frowned, getting up from your chair and walked outside to get some fresh air before you went off on him in front of the entire pack.
embry was quick to follow you outside as quil and jacob both realized they spilled the beans on the whole mind reading thing to you, “babe,” embry started again as he caught up to you, sliding his hand over your hip so he could get in front of you, “i’m sorry,” he said after a moment, gently resting his other hand on your hip so he could at least somewhat hold you in place while he explained himself to you.
before he could continue, you cut him off, “you didn’t think to tell me all of those idiots can see our entire sex life from your perspective?” you started, glaring up at him as you crossed your arms over your chest, frowning as you tried to figure out how to even begin to process everything.
embry let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head, “i honestly didn’t even think of it as something to tell you,” he said after a moment, “we can all see and hear each other's thoughts when we’re shifted and that includes sam, paul, and jared,” he added, his features softening as he took in your hurt expression, “so everyone has seen emily, rachel, and kim like that too,” he explained, gently squeezing your hips when you didn’t respond to him after a moment, just frowning as you glared up at him.
“‘m really sorry pretty thing,” he murmured after a moment, “i honestly just forgot about it because it’s so normal to me i forgot you wouldn’t know about that,” he explained again and you nodded, letting out a heavy sigh as you realized he was definitely right. he’d never done anything to intentionally hurt you and didn’t have any kind of track record of lying to you so you were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn’t have any ill intent withholding that information from you.
you let out another soft sigh, allowing your shoulders to drop as you wrapped your arms around his waist and pulled him into a tight hug, “i’m so sorry,” embry murmured against your hair, wrapping his arms around your waist to hold you close to him.
the two of you took a few deep breaths together before you broke the silence when you peeked up at him, “can we go home? i don’t wanna be here right now,” you asked softly, letting out a sigh of relief when he quickly nodded, reaching into the pocket of his sweatpants to fish out the car keys before he was letting you go from his grip so the two of you could get in the car.
the ride back to your apartment was mostly silent but you did allow him to keep your fingers intertwined with his free hand, occasionally offering his hand a gentle squeeze to reassure him you weren’t going to lose your shit over this. although you were most definitely beyond irritated that he didn’t tell you, you knew he was notoriously more anxious and in tune with his emotions than any of your previous relationships so you always tried your best to reassure him everything was okay where you could.
once the two of you had gotten back into your apartment, you took a seat on the couch, allowing embry to come sit next to you, “so can you tell me what they saw?” you asked softly after a moment, allowing him to intertwine your fingers with his again as he took a moment to think about his response.
he let out a soft sigh, only starting to explain himself when you gave his hand a soft, reassuring squeeze, “pretty much everything,” he murmured, letting out a heavy sigh as he anxiously ran his fingers through his hair with his free hand, “they can see pretty much everything from my perspective,” he added after a moment, cautiously watching your expression to get a better read of you.
you frowned, “have they said anything about it? or like are you all just pretending you don’t see that? because this whole thing seems really weird em,” you started, soothingly running your free hand up and down his sweatpant-clad thigh.
embry let out another heavy sigh, looking from your hands then back up to you, “no they don’t really say anything about it,” he murmured, “i would’ve seen if they did,” he added softly, watching your expression nervously.
it was like a lightbulb went off in your head then and you got the brilliant idea to get back at jake and quil for being so fucking nosey. “well can you tell me what you were thinking about that made jake and quil so riled up?” you asked softly, sliding your hand up his thigh a bit as you peeked up at him.
embry looked a bit taken aback by your question, “you wanna know what i was thinking about?” he repeated, slowly nodding when you nodded, offering him a small smile, “can i ask why?” he asked after a moment and you just let out a soft giggle, sitting up so you could move and straddle embry’s lap.
“well i was thinking,” you started, slowly running your fingers up his chest as you peeked up at him to see him watching you with curious eyes, “we might as well give ‘em something to talk about if they were gonna do it anyways,” you finished, gently biting at your lower lip as you waited for his response.
despite your initial mortification about the whole ordeal, you were suddenly starting to see just how much you enjoyed the idea of the entire pack knowing just how much embry owned you.
embry let out a breathy laugh after a moment, nodding as he slid his hands up your thighs to grab your hips, “well i think i should show you what i was thinking about then, yea?” he asked, mischief coating his tone that had you giggling and nodding, happy to know he was just as down to go along with your little payback plan on the pack.
embry was the first to make a move, sliding one hand up your back so he could knot his fingers in your hair and pull you over to kiss him. you were nothing if not compliant, quickly melting against his lips as you ground your hips down against his, wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him impossibly closer to you.
embry didn’t waste any time, sliding his free hand under your shirt so he could tug it up and over your head, tossing it to the side before he was reaching behind you to unclasp your bra and add that to your discarded pile of clothes, “so fuckin’ pretty,” he murmured before he was palming one breast in his hand while he latched onto your nipple with his mouth, swirling slow, tight circles against the sensitive bud.
you let out a loud moan, dropping your head back as you knotted your fingers into his hair, pulling his head down closer to your breasts as he rolled your other nipple between his fingers, knowing how much you loved that.
“fuck embry-” you whined, grinding your hips down against his as he just barely grazed his teeth against your nipple, sending your brain into a tizzy as the pleasure coursed through your body. you could hardly wait anymore, the pulsing need in your core having you in a near frenzy as you desperately unknotted your fingers from his hair in favor of running them down his chest to find the band of his sweatpants, desperately tugging against the thin band there.
embry let out a breathy chuckle when he felt your hands, lifting his head from your breast so he could look you up and down, “easy babe,” he cooed, sliding his hands down to your hips so he could lift you off his lap and lay you down on the couch, smiling down at you when he saw the pout on your lips, “‘m comin’” he reassured, leaning down to press a quick kiss to your lips before he was getting up and pulling his sweatpants and boxers off, kicking them to the side.
you let out a soft sigh as you took his figure in, looking from his broad shoulders down his abdomen where he had a small happy trail leading down to his hardened cock. he laughed softly when he saw what you were doing, leaning forward so he could undo the button and zipper on your shorts, helping you kick them off before he was settling back between your thighs, “such a good girl,” he praised softly, running his free hand in between your thighs, just barely grazing over your clit, chuckling when you let out a loud whine, wanting more pressure against the bud.
“take it easy,” he cooed, pressing a soft, almost teasing kiss to your lips as he parted your slick folds with his fingers, gathering some of the slick you had produced there before he was swirling his finger around your aching entrance.
you whined, barely refraining from taking his hand and pressing his fingers into you yourself, “embry please-” you whimpered, dropping your head back as you sucked in deep lungfuls of air. embry just let out a breathy chuckle, slowly dipping two fingers inside of you, already knowing you loved the feeling of him stretching you out.
he barely gave you a moment to stretch around his fingers before he was scissoring them inside you, almost immediately having you a whining, moaning mess underneath him. he dropped his head down so he could begin softly kissing your neck, sucking at the sensitive skin there for just enough time to make sure he’d have you marked up come morning, “you can take it,” he encouraged when he began curling his fingers inside of you, sending another wave of pleasure up your spine that had you whimpering underneath him.
you slid your hands up his sides, knotting one of your hands in his hair while the other pulled him down closer to you so you could bury your face in the crook of his neck to muffle your whines as he continued thrusting his fingers in and out of you, “such a good job,” he cooed, pressing a soft kiss to your temple as he pulled his fingers out of you, seeming to be satisfied with how much he stretched you out.
you whined at the loss of him, immediately loosening your grip on his neck so you could look at him, “you’re okay,” he cooed with a soft laugh, “‘m comin’” he reassured, leaning down to press a soft kiss to your lips before he was wrapping his hand around his length to pump himself a few times.
he guided his length between your folds, rocking his hips between your folds a few times to coat his length in your slick so you’d have an easier time taking him, “em-” you whined loudly, tugging him back down to you when he finally lined the tip of his cock up with your hole, “please,” you whimpered, wrapping your legs around his waist so you could not-so-subtly push his hips closer to yours and help squeeze the tip of his cock into your channel when you decided he was moving at a pace you deemed too slow.
embry refrained from rolling his eyes and reprimanding you for being so bratty, instead just bucking his hips into yours, sheathing his entire length in you in one thrust, the action quickly quieting any additional complaints from you, “there you go,” embry teased, kissing the crook of your neck as he allowed you a moment to stretch around him, knowing you were likely a little more than caught off guard with him thrusting into you with so little warning.
you sucked in a few deep breaths, closing your eyes as you took a few moments to relish in the feeling of him stretching out your walls so deliciously. “now you gonna be good for me and let me fuck you for a little while?” he asked after a moment, lifting his head so he could scan your face as he waited for your response.
you nodded, “gonna be your good girl,” you confirmed, your features softening as you looked up at him, absolutely loving the intimacy of the moment.
embry offered you a soft smile, “good,” he cooed before he was drawing his hips back and thrusting into you with a steady pace, rolling his hips against your with each thrust so he could make sure he was brushing up against that particularly sensitive spot inside you with every movement.
soft moans were escaping your lips as you allowed him to pick up the pace a bit, his thrusts beginning to get rougher and rougher as the two of you felt the pleasure in your bodies building, “you like everyone knowing i own you?” he gritted out, reaching his free hand down to roll your clit between his fingers when you took a moment too long to respond to him.
you let out a loud moan, gasping at the sensation, “yea-” you moaned, “love everyone knowin’ i‘m yours,” you whimpered, tightening your legs around his waist as he picked up the pace of his thrusts, fueled by your confirmation.
“that’s what i thought,” he gritted out, groaning when your walls fluttered around him as he pressed down on your clit again, both of you quickly realizing just how close to your highs you were, “you gonna cum on my cock? show everyone just how good my cock feels?” he asked breathlessly, rolling your clit between his fingers again when you nodded.
your loud moans, combined with the way your walls were tightening around him with each thrust had him teetering on the edge of his own orgasm, “cum on my cock pretty thing,” he encouraged, thanking his lucky stars you were so quick to comply with his demand as the coil in your belly snapped and you came undone on his cock, allowing him to meet his release as you met yours.
his thrusts slowed as he spilled his seed into your walls, both of you sucking in lungfuls of air as you worked to catch your breaths. “that was amazing,” embry murmured breathlessly as the two of you started to come down from your highs. he gently ran his hand up and down your side as he reoriented both of you, leaning down to press a soft kiss to your forehead, “‘m sure that’ll give ‘em plenty to talk about,” embry teased, both of you letting out soft laughs before he was slowly getting out from between your thighs to clean you up.

Chapter 4 (Timeline slightly shifted for the storyline)
Masterlist
Tumblr media
I tore through the woods, my heartbeat pounding in sync with the rhythm of my feet. The tension from the pack was overwhelming, flooding my senses with their growing frustration. I could feel their stress spike with every passing minute, but no one would tell me what was going on. Seriously? They knew me well enough by now. If something was wrong, my instincts would kick in, driving me to find the source of the problem—and end it.
I was certain it had to do with Bella—everything always came back to her. Don’t get me wrong, I love the girl, but damn, trouble follows her like a shadow. Then again, I guess that’s to be expected when your soulmate is a cold one, whether she realizes it or not.
Suddenly, I caught a whiff of something sickly sweet in the air. A cold one. Alone, no coven. And then, Bella’s scent hit me.
I veered sharply, sprinting toward them. The scents grew stronger with every step, leading me straight to a clearing. Bursting through the trees, I slowed to a halt, staying just out of sight. My heart dropped when I saw an unfamiliar cold one looming over Bella, teeth bared, ready to bite. Instinct took over—I let out a deep, snarling growl that echoed like a warning.
Bella turned, her eyes locking onto mine. Recognition flickered in her gaze—she’d seen me in wolf form before, but only a small glimpse when I chased Paul and Jake into the forest after she slapped paul. The vampire’s low whisper reached my ears as he backed away.
“No way in hell,” he muttered, just as I stepped in front of Bella, growling, my eyes never leaving his crimson ones. I stood tall, daring him to make a move. In the distance, the pack’s howls echoed through the trees—they had caught his scent, too, and they were closing in fast.
The moment he turned to flee, I launched after him. He darted through the forest, using every tree and branch as an obstacle to shake me, but I was faster. I lunged, catching his ankle and slamming him into the ground. He scrambled to his feet, ready for a fight.
He managed to land a few blows, but I shook them off before charging him full force, crashing his body into a nearby boulder. The impact stunned him, giving me just enough time. With a savage bite, I tore his head from his body.
The pack arrived just as I delivered the final blow. Sam shifted back, running to a nearby tree where he’d stashed clothes. Pulling a lighter from his pocket, he quickly set the vampire’s remains ablaze. We all stood in silence, watching as the flames consumed him, turning him to nothing but ceramic-like ash.
Soon enough, the whole pack had shifted back to human form, now clothed and gathered around the smoldering ashes—everyone except me. I stayed in wolf form, partly because I didn’t have clothes stashed nearby, but mostly because I needed to check on Bella. I needed answers.
If the pack wasn’t going to tell me what was going on, I’d get the truth from the source herself.
I started to trot away, but Paul quickly caught up, nearly jogging to keep pace with me. "Where are you going?" he asked, his voice tight with curiosity.
I opened the mindlink to him. Off to check on Bella.
He sighed, almost resigned. "Alright, I know I can't talk you out of that. But when you're done..." He hesitated for a moment, looking a little nervous as he scratched the back of his head. "Would you maybe want to go on another date?"
I stopped in my tracks, turning my head sharply to look at him. His goofy smile gave away his nerves, but I could see the hope in his eyes.
I stepped closer, pressing my head against his side in a gentle, affectionate nudge. ‘Yes, Paul. Of course, I’d love to.’
His hand slid through my fur in a loving gesture before I nodded and turned, racing off toward Bella’s house.
When I arrived at Bella's house, I paused, sniffing the air to gauge who was inside. Bella’s scent was there, along with Edward’s. I focused my thoughts, pushing them outward, hoping to catch Edward’s attention. His ability to read minds never worked on me when I blocked him out, much like I did with the pack. It had taken days of practice, but now it was second nature. Opening my mind was more of a struggle than shutting it off.
I heard movement inside before Bella and Edward stepped out to meet me. Bella’s eyes met mine, a glint of recognition sparking in her expression.
“Is that you, Y/N?” she asked. I nodded, relieved that she recognized me. I turned my gaze to Edward, pushing my question toward him. ‘What’s going on?’ “The pack hasn’t told you yet?” Edward asked, tilting his head slightly. I shook mine in response.
“What?” Bella looked between us, confusion clouding her features. “The pack hasn’t told her about Victoria,” Edward explained, his voice calm yet serious.
Bella’s eyes widened in shock, clearly as confused as I felt. Edward sighed and turned back to me. “I’m not sure why the pack hasn’t mentioned it, but I think it’s important that you know. You could be a valuable ally to us.”
He paused, then added, “Before I continue, I wanted to thank you—for trying to save Bella before and again today. You may not know this, but even before you were pulled into this supernatural world, my family and I had grown quite fond of you. Even though you… don’t exactly smell great to us anymore, you're still one of our most trusted allies. How you treated Alice that day sealed it for us.”
I gave a small wolfish grin and nodded. ‘You’re all important to Bella, and she’s important to me. Protecting her means protecting you, too. Legends or not, I trust you all with her safety.’
Edward translated my thoughts to Bella, who smiled softly. Then he turned back to me, his expression growing serious again.
“With that said, the problem we’re facing is Victoria. She’s a red-haired vampire, and last year, when Bella was attacked, we killed her mate. Now she’s out for revenge. She’s been stalking Bella for a while, but lately, she’s been quiet. We believe she’s planning something, and this time, she may have help.”
As Edward finished, I took a moment to absorb the weight of his words. A looming threat, and this time, it wasn’t just Bella who would be in danger. It was all of us.
‘Thank you for telling me. If anything changes, let me know right away. No one’s getting to Bella on my watch.’ Edward nodded in appreciation, offering a quiet, “Thank you.”
Before I could leave, Bella spoke up. “While you're here, Y/N, I wanted to invite you to my graduation party. I know you might have your own plans, but if you’re free, I’d love for you to join.”
I nodded, turning to Edward to translate for me. “She says she’s not planning her own party, so she’d love to attend yours,” Edward relayed with a small smile. Bella beamed. “Great! I’ll make sure you get a physical invite soon.”
With that settled, I gave my goodbyes, nodding to them both before heading back through the trees toward home.
After just a few minutes, I transformed back into my human form, quickly dressing and making my way to the open area where my house stood. As I approached the porch, I spotted Paul sitting there, his face lighting up into a wide smile when he saw me. I couldn’t help but return his grin as I jogged up to him. “Let me just grab some shoes and check on my dad, then we can take my truck if you’d like?”
With a nod, he replied, “I get to drive, then.” I giggled and tossed him my keys from inside the door. “As always, Paul.” As he turned to start the truck, I headed inside to find my shoes.
Passing through the living room, I noticed Sue lounging on the couch, absorbed in one of her cheesy rom-coms. The delicious aroma of whatever she was cooking or baking wafted through the air, a comforting reminder of the dinner she was preparing for my father and herself. I walked up the ramp, which covered an old set of short stairs leading to the hallway at the back of the house.
Once in my room, I quickly found my sneakers and some socks. I slipped them on and glanced in the mirror to fix my hair. It had been cut short after shifting, but it still tangled and got messy. I brushed it out before heading off to find my father in his office.
As I entered my father's office, the familiar scent of his cologne mingled with the musty aroma of old books, wrapping me in a sense of comfort. He was hunched over his desk, deep in thought, scribbling notes for his latest project. The sight of him instantly warmed my heart. "Hey, Dad," I called softly, leaning against the doorframe.
He looked up, his face breaking into a smile that reached his eyes. "There’s my favorite girl! How was your run? Did you catch any squirrels?" he teased, raising an eyebrow playfully.
I rolled my eyes, stepping into the room. "Very funny. You know I’m more graceful than that," I replied, crossing my arms with a mock pout. "But, um, I need to talk to you about something important."
His playful demeanor shifted, curiosity replacing it. "What’s on your mind, sweetheart?"
Taking a deep breath, I hesitated, my stomach knotting with anxiety. "I just found out about a rogue vampire lurking nearby. It seems to be causing trouble, and I… I don't want to take any chances." I locked my gaze on him, urgency creeping into my voice. "Dad, with everything you do as the tribe historian—protecting our legends and keeping track of our history—you’re important to us. I need you to stay safe."
His expression changed, concern etching itself into his features. "A rogue vampire? Why didn’t I hear about this sooner? Do you know who it is?"
"I don’t know yet, but the pack is on high alert," I replied, trying to steady my voice. "That’s why I’m asking you to stay inside more often. I can’t bear the thought of something happening to you, especially when you’re the one safeguarding our stories and our future."
He studied me for a moment, his eyes softening as he took in my worry. "I appreciate you looking out for me, and I understand your concern. But you know I can’t ignore the responsibility of preserving our history, especially with new threats emerging."
"I get that, but please promise me you’ll be careful," I insisted, my heart racing. “I need you here, Dad. You’re not just a historian; you’re my father. We’re in this together, and I want you safe.”
He sighed, a small smile breaking through the seriousness. "You’re right, my little wolf. I’ll be more cautious. For you."
I let out a breath I didn’t realize I was holding, relief washing over me. "Thank you, Dad. That’s all I ask. I want us both to be here for whatever comes next."
"Always," he said, reaching out to pull me into a warm hug. "Now, how about we grab some dinner? I think Sue made enough to feed an army."
“Wish I could but Paul and I are going on a last second date night!" I said excitedly. My father smiled and bid me a goodbye as I left the house.
Here’s a revised version of the scene to improve flow and clarity:
Out front, I hurried over and hopped into the truck. Paul grumbled, realizing too late that he'd missed the chance to open the door for me. I couldn’t help but smile, leaning over to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "So, what do you have planned for tonight?" I asked, as he quickly shifted the truck into reverse, backing up before spinning it around to head out.
We drove in comfortable silence until we reached the main road, the familiar trees of Forks passing by in a blur. Finally, Paul spoke up, his voice thoughtful. "I was thinking we could grab some dinner, maybe pick up a few things for a craft you like, and then head to the cliff by the beach. We could eat, relax, and work on something together."
A smile tugged at my lips. The memory of last week surfaced in my mind, when we had spent the afternoon cuddled up in my room. Paul had spotted my desk, cluttered with the remnants of old crafts—bracelets, paintings, and half-finished projects. It was a hobby I hadn’t indulged in for a while, a simple joy I kept to myself, creating little things for others or just for fun. He had been so curious, asking me about each piece, and we’d ended up talking about them all for hours.
The thought of him remembering that moment now filled me with warmth. "That sounds perfect," I said softly, glancing over at him. Paul always had a way of making things special, of knowing exactly what would bring me peace.
It didn’t take long for us to arrive at the crafting store in town. Before I even had a chance to unbuckle, Paul was already shutting off the truck and rushing to my side. I couldn’t help but laugh as he hurried to open the door for me, offering his hand to help me out. "Such a gentleman," I teased, squeezing his hand as he closed the door and locked the truck.
Grinning, I led him inside, my fingers intertwined with his. As soon as we stepped through the door, the soft, familiar scent of craft supplies enveloped me—the earthy smell of wooden beads, the subtle tang of leather strips, and the faint sweetness of paints and glue. I looked around, taking it all in. The colors, textures, and materials surrounded us, sparking memories of afternoons spent lost in creativity.
With every breath, I could feel a sense of ease and comfort washing over me, the stress and tension from the day melting away. This was my sanctuary, and having Paul here with me made it even better.
We spent the next few minutes browsing the aisles, picking out supplies to make matching bracelets. I also grabbed a few extra things for bracelets I wanted to make for some friends. As we headed to the register, I made sure to separate my extra items from the supplies we picked out for our date. But just as I started to do that, Paul stopped me, gently pushing everything back together.
"Hey, I’m paying for my stuff too, Lahote," I said, narrowing my eyes playfully.
Paul just smirked, stepping in front of me and blocking the register with his broad frame. "Yeah, no," he muttered, ignoring my protests as he quickly paid for everything before I had a chance to stop him.
I stared at him, surprised, as he turned around, holding the bag full of supplies with a smug grin. I let out a dramatic sigh, rolling my eyes as I reached to grab the bag, but he pulled it away at the last second.
“Nope," he said, shaking his head with a teasing smile. "If I can’t treat you to fancy dinners like I want, the least you can do is let me pay for everything and carry your things."
I shook my head, exasperated but smiling. “You are not paying for everything, Paul. I’m covering dinner next, and that’s final.”
He chuckled, the sound warm and familiar. "You can try," he said with a smirk, "but I won’t let you. No matter what."
Once again, Paul hurried to open the door for me, helping me in before shutting it with a playful smirk. He then opened the back door to place our craft supplies behind me before hopping into the driver’s seat and heading to a cozy burger joint. Of course, he wouldn’t let me pay for the meal, no matter how hard I tried.
Finally, we arrived at the cliff. Paul backed the truck up so we could sit on the bed while crafting, eating, and enjoying the sunset. Before Paul could make it to my side, I jumped out of the truck and made a quick grab for the bags. "Hey!" Paul called, his voice laced with surprise as he sped over, trying to catch up.
I giggled, shutting the door behind me and taking off in a playful sprint, the bags in my hands. "Too slow!" I teased, glancing back to see him grinning as he chased after me, the sunset painting the sky in shades of orange and pink.
It didn’t take long for him to catch up, his strong arms wrapping around me as he lifted me off my feet effortlessly, laughing. I squealed, my feet kicking in the air as I tried to wriggle free.
“Gotcha!” he teased, his laughter mixing with mine as he spun me around for a moment before setting me back down, still holding me close.
I pouted playfully. “Not fair! You have way too much of an advantage.”
Paul grinned, brushing a strand of hair from my face. “What can I say? I’m a man on a mission." He gently grabbed the bags from my hands. "Now, let’s get to our crafts before the sun sets."
I nodded, and we walked back to the truck, Paul quickly taking the bags from me again with a smirk. We sat down on the tailgate, the soft breeze carrying the scent of the ocean up from the cliffs. Paul began to set up our makeshift picnic, laying out the burgers and fries, while I organized the supplies for our matching bracelets.
The simplicity of the moment felt perfect—the calm of the ocean, the warmth of the setting sun, and the easy silence between us as we got everything ready. I glanced over at Paul, who was focused on arranging our meal, and a smile tugged at my lips.
"You're really going all out for this date, huh?" I teased, threading a leather strip through one of the beads.
He looked up, his eyes twinkling. "Only the best for you."
We started eating, the warm burgers and crispy fries the perfect complement to the cool breeze coming off the ocean. The sky was painted with a breathtaking array of colors—fiery oranges blending into soft pinks and purples, the sun slowly sinking behind the horizon. We sat quietly for a while, enjoying the view and the peacefulness of the moment.
“This is perfect,” I murmured between bites, glancing over at Paul. He nodded in agreement, his mouth full of fries, giving me a lopsided grin.
Once we finished eating, I pulled the craft supplies toward us, sorting through the leather strips and beads. "Ready to get started?" I asked, pulling out two small wolf charms—one for each of our bracelets.
Paul raised an eyebrow, already looking a bit unsure. "I dunno, I’m not exactly a bracelet-making expert," he admitted, scratching the back of his head.
I laughed, shaking my head. "It’s not that hard. I’ll walk you through it." I handed him a strip of leather and a few beads, trying not to laugh at the overly serious expression he was wearing. "First, you thread the beads onto the leather like this," I said, demonstrating with my own bracelet.
He copied me, but it quickly became clear that Paul’s hands weren’t made for delicate work. His fingers fumbled as he tried to thread a bead onto the strip, and after a few failed attempts, he dropped one of the beads into his lap with a frustrated groan.
I couldn’t help but giggle. "You're supposed to be a tough guy, and you're losing to a bead?"
He shot me a mock glare, but there was a smile tugging at his lips. "Hey, these things are tiny! My hands weren’t built for this kind of precision."
"Here, let me help." I slid closer, taking his hand in mine and guiding the leather strip through the bead. "See? Easy. You just have to be patient."
He watched me carefully, his brow furrowed in concentration. "Okay, okay, I think I got it." He tried again, this time with a little more success. "Maybe," he added, half-laughing.
As we worked, the wolf charms jingled softly in our hands, adding a little extra significance to the bracelets. Despite Paul’s clumsy attempts, he was putting his heart into it, and that made it even more special. I glanced over at him as he struggled to tie the final knot.
"How’s it coming?" I asked, smiling.
"Uh... it’s... definitely a bracelet," he said, holding up his finished piece, which was slightly lopsided and uneven, but unmistakably heartfelt.
I burst out laughing. "It's perfect," I said, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Just like you."
Paul grinned, a little sheepish, and we settled back to watch the last of the sunset, our matching wolf bracelets now tied securely on our wrists.
