For Secretary’s Day!

Today is Secretary’s Day, and this post is to pay tribute to the greatest fictional secretary I know: Jacquelyn Sciezka of the ASOUE fandom.

She is now the Duchess of Winnipeg, apparently. 

She was one of the most rational, honorable, and brave members of VFD.

how i feel about this character: i love Jacquelyn oh my god!! she’s kickass and badass though has a soft and gentle side that canon kind of evidences (interacting with the kids, Olaf’s line about being compassionate, the TVV speech). she takes no kinda attitude and reminds me of what i know of Peggy Carter so like. i Love Herrrr also she, Olivia and Esmé are my top three fave ASOUE characters so yea!!!

any/all the people i ship romantically with this character: i ship her with Olivia as y’all know, Esmé, and then Olivia and Esmé at the same time 

my favourite non-romantic ship/brotp for this character: i straight up have a tag called Jacquelyn And Larry Are Gay Best Friends

my unpopular opinion on this character: i don’t think i have one?? unless i guess we class that i think she listens to 70′s hard rock (Suzi Quatro, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Alice Cooper) and has a leather jacket (that Olivia always steals)? i thought unpopular opinion means ones people don’t like idk man

one thing i wish had happened in canon: i guess that she’d gotten a better explanation as to how/why she’s even involved with VFD? i mean, she’s not in the mill photo and doesn’t know about Prufrock when Larry mentions it in TAA? so it’s like, i’m thinking, was she trained with everyone else or was she a later recruit like Olivia? does she have the tattoo? or does she not and i can use that in my fic which i’m not saying anything about ?? unclear

favourite friendship for this character: she and Gustav get along like a house on fire and she and Kit are like, sister-close kinda besties and then there’s Jacques who’s like an annoying brother and they tease each other a lot

NIGHT 1

Hooky destroys Beatrice Baudelaire's supplies while she is asleep. Kit Snicket thinks about winning. Duncan Quagmire starts a fire. Jacquelyn Sciezka and Esmé Gigi Geniveve Squalor sleep in shifts. Bertrand Baudelaire, Carmelita Spats, and Geraldine Julienne start fighting, but Carmelita Spats runs away as Bertrand Baudelaire kills Geraldine Julienne. Sunny Baudelaire, Fiona, and Jacques Snicket discuss the games and what might happen in the morning. Uncle Monty receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor. Aunt Josephine and Count Olaf run into each other and decide to truce for the night. Isadora Quagmire strangles Olivia Caliban after engaging in a fist fight. Quigley Quagmire sets an explosive off, killing Frank or Ernest or Dewey. Larry Your Waiter passes out from exhaustion. Lemony Snicket cooks his food before putting his fire out.

DAY 2

Duncan Quagmire camouflauges himself in the bushes. Jacques Snicket convinces Larry Your Waiter to not kill him, only to kill him instead.
