#RepostPlus @jaykantorphoto - - - - - - In love with the 420 variation of Tom Maher’s sick as fuck @kungfubreakfast logo. For those not in the know I originated the Kung Fu Breakfast name back in 2012 as the name of my monthly art magazine that put out its first out THIS MONTH, October six years ago. Back then there was a new logo made every month from cover artists like @jackle0rgy, @ulorin_vex, @stephanieinagaki, @_sillywigs, @caitlinanne_art, @littleanniemotel and more. Around the time I ended the magazine my @instagram account by the same name started to take off from my work documenting street art and the named started for the magazine became my brand, my newly launched photography website, and my identity. I was fickle for a long time about who would do the official logo. This summer reconnected with my @ithacacollege friend @veganmayhem for a Photoshoot (last saw her in 2006). @veganmayhem brought along her husband Tom who I really connected with and even took some photos of. Amongst other things I learned Tom is in a badass metal band, a rad painter, and a killer graphic designer. Tom offered to make this logo. I think logo so perfectly embodies the style I have set in my photo work. There are a few color variations but when my homegirl and muse @cosmicdaughter mentioned we should have a green version I requested something 420 friendly and Tom whipped this up.
