Robert surprises Katie (‘patience woman!’) with their very own ‘dream home’… a caravan. Jack invites both Andy and Daz to dinner (oh, this won’t end well) but he isn’t interested and yet… Andy changes his mind afterwards (if it wasn’t for Jack, Daz wouldn’t be back with him). Robert and Katie check out of the B&B and Robert manages to pilfer a keepsake from there 😂. Jack is not pleased that Robert brought Katie with him. Andy goes ballistic on Robert and calls Katie an uunkind name before he (and Daz) huff off. Katie tries apologizing to Andy.

Monday 24 December - Christmas Eve - 7.00 PM

It's the eve of Marlon and Jessie's surprise wedding. After getting drunk in The Woolpack, Sam and Marlon spot the truck containing Charity’s booze delivery sitting open.

Later, the drayman drives off, unknowingly carrying away Marlon and Sam who are fast asleep in the back.

Meanwhile, Bob can't afford presents for the twins this Christmas. He considers stealing from the hospital charity gifts, but can he really sink so low?

Elsewhere, Rodney vows to break an impasse.

Tuesday 25 December - Christmas Day - 7.15 PM

Hour-long episode

It's Christmas Day and Sam and Marlon wake up in the back of a delivery van in the middle of nowhere. Marlon tells Sam that they need to rush back to the village, as Lydia has arranged a surprise wedding for him.

Later, Marlon does make it back on time but faints when he realises that he's the one getting married. At the same time, Sam is crushed to learn that he’s got it all wrong.

Meanwhile, Bob has pawned his watch but is devastated to realise that he's bought the kids the wrong gifts. Can Bob get himself out of his mounting debts and grim situation?

Elsewhere, Jacob hands Maya a present and they kiss, but they get interrupted by David. The situation grows awkward as Jacob stays hidden as David and Maya kiss.

Also today, Nicola and Jimmy arrive for dinner with the family after being invited by Rodney. Upon arriving, they realise they are not welcome and Liam dishes up tiny portions for the unexpected guests.

1) The Sugden water has been contaminated with antifreeze (can’t blame Robert since he’s gone). Daz and Jasmine find the antifreeze source and get a scare from the Kings. Steph declines a guilt-ridden Alan’s offer to co-own the B&B. Betty puts money into the stockmarket. 2) Focus is on the dumped antifreeze and trying to getting away with it with the environmental officer. Steph drops the charges against Terence but where is he?

15-Oct: 27-Feb-2006 Katie Sugden is back (4296), 28-Feb-2006 (4297)

1) Andy and Daz take revenge on the Kings which leaves Jack none too pleased. The Kings are in the clear with the environmental officer. Steph and Adam move Alan into Keeper Cottage per Betty’s request. Andy is informed Katie is in a coma after an accident that killed her dad. Chas is there to stay. 2) Jack and Daz worry Katie will be back in their lives. Katie learns of Brian’s death with Andy there for her. Alan finds an opportunity for him and Steph to bond.

16-Oct: 01-Mar-2006 (4298) single 1/2 hour episode!

Tom enlists Carl’s help to keep Matthew and Sadie apart when she comes for her horse, Cossack. Jack tries to assuage Daz’s worries about Katie and Andy. Steph offers Jasmine and Debbie part-time work at the B&B.

17-Oct: 02-Mar-2006 (4299), 03-Mar-2006 Perdita Hyde-Sinclair & Grayson Sinclair debut! (4300)

1) Matthew is shocked Sadie is back and not alone. 2) At a dinner, Sadie makes it clear things are over between her and Matthew, she’s with Alasdair. Shadrach offers advice to Carl regarding Chas… maybe it’s time proposing to her again but be smart about it. Katie confides to Chas the circumstances before the accident involving a boyfriend she was splitting up with. Ivan invites Nicola to his auntie’s wedding instead of Paul.

18-Oct: 05-Mar-2006 (4301), 06-Mar-2006 (4302)

1) Carl serves up a unique marriage proposal to Chas. Matthew realizes he’s not in the same league as Alasdair. 2) It’s the day of Alice’s wing walk who still has doubts it’s a foolish risk. Carl proposes to Chas once again. Paul is upset Ivan isn’t ready to come out to his family yet which has Ivan turning to Nicola.
