Because I know what it feels like, to feel like you don’t belong. To feel like there’s this darkness inside of you, to be scared of who you are, what you can do.

I love you, Sam Winchester, and your tendency to adopt weird little kids. You should have stayed a psychic the entire show.

Random Take or whatever. But I’m re-watching some supernatural episodes and I was so interested in Magda from S12E4 becoming a reoccurring character??? Like the connection she and Sam have in that episode, the fatherly & daughter bond they share about their psychic powers, that little moment she and Sam have in the ambulance where he says that she can call him for anything at anytime???? Please, it’s giving Sabriel love-child. So sad she got killed by an evil Brit in the end :(

Not only do I feel like my blog needs some joy in it, but I need it for my sanity.
So here's a jumble of my random thoughts I've had these past few months that I haven't been able to share since I've been busy. Also, I'll throw in some fic ideas cause why not.
One fic I've had that I'm still trying to flesh out a bit. Sam lives in a fishing town, and he's a diver. He spends a lot of time in the water even outside of his job.
On one of his days off, he finds himself face to face with a mermaid. But days before this he kept seeing these blue eyes everywhere and when he finally faced them, they were more  captivating than he ever could have imagined.
He doesn't tell anyone, and instead, the next day, looks for the mermaid again. Away from the docks. And it meets up with him again, but this time, they talk.
Sam finds himself in a routine, no matter what, every day he meets up with this mermaid, Castiel.
The thing is it's getting harder and harder to walk away when he sees Castiel's disappointment when Sam leaves.
When Sam does eventually miss one day, due to things out of his control, the next day, Castiel doesn't show up. Sam waits there until nightfall, still no appearance.
The next day, even with doubt, Sam visits, and he finds Castiel and someone casting a spell. A spell on Castiel who's screaming in pain as he transforms into a human.
There's a lot more to this AU, but I don't want to give away the whole story, it's one of my favorite AUs to work on even though I don't have anything published for it yet.
 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Another fic I've been meaning to work on is my soulmate's AU. I have a cool idea of when Sam and Castiel meet, Castiel being fully powered, still connected to Heaven, and Sam, still being in tune with his powers, there's even more of a magnetic pull between them. And it hurts to touch, but in a way that is hard to let go of. That mixed in with the fact that both of them can now see every color they missed before, the feelings must be intense in that scene.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Just in general though for Sastiel, the idea that the two have trouble identifying reality, and end up becoming each other's grounding anchors is a neat idea. Especially as they spend more and more time together, they know each other so well, it's easier to separate their minds from messing with them and what's reality.
I've written about this for Sam, and Castiel helping, but I haven't had Sam be that anchor for Castiel yet.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A step away from romance, my headcanon that Dean loses his hearing from Castiel using their true voice, I've added onto it. I think the idea that both Sam and Dean learn ASL because it's necessary, and it gives them an advantage when they can't say anything, but can sign something.
So when they eventually meet Eileen, it's funny to think that Sam gets so flustered he just messes up ASL despite using it all the time with Dean, but also, Dean and Eileen communicating in ASL is everything I need.
Especially because they'd be able to bond over losing their hearing from something supernatural, and adapting from it. That's something that I eventually want to write someday.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Oh, another AU is where Kevin doesn't die. And instead, ends up being a brother figure for Jack because Kevin knows for a fact that the Winchesters and Castiel know nothing about raising a child. And so someone has to make sure this poor child isn't completely screwed and traumatized. (He is well aware that he is also screwed up and traumatized but it's no mystery why he is, stares pointedly at the Winchesters.)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Oh, a very old idea I've had is Jack, Magda, and Elijah finding a stray animal, and promptly sneaking it into the bunker. That one is such a fun prompt, I just haven't been able to do it justice.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Returning back to some romance, I have to spread the saileenstiel propaganda of course. I do think it very much starts off as a, we both like Sam, and Sam likes us both. But when they can see Sam has plenty of love for the both of them, they are able to see that they like each other as well.
Oh, I'd also love to write something with them having a day out with Elijah, Madga, and Jack. Maybe at the beach or a nature hike. That would be fun to write.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I was also brainrotting a lot for Dean and Cassie, and what if Dean did go back to see her. Or what if he didn't go to Lisa but to Cassie. Which I'm unsure if I've talked about before. Either way, I'm talking about it again. I still very much want to write a fic about their first date or the first time they just lounged around doing nothing but it felt like everything.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Also, I really need to finish my Debriel fic, it's written but not written. The dialogue is there, as well as rough, very very rough, actions, it just needs to be edited. And some motivation to return to it.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I would love to do more crossover fics, especially like Marvel and Supernatural. I have a few started, I just never finish them. Apart from the one with Jack and Peter which was based on a textpost.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Switching to Marvel, Interwebs, I want to write about them again. One of my fics made me miss them which was rude because it's unfair that my writing can make me miss my writing.
I want more cuddles and dates and just overly sweet fluffy fics for them. And maybe some more bittersweet ones as well. I don't know why but I like the bittersweet idea for them.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I've been meaning to write a winterfalcon fic for ages, even just based on a text post or something, I just tend to forget I can write about them.
Same thing for thunder science (Bruce and Thor), any ideas I have for them I forget I'm a writer.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Kind of want a fic of Valkyrie too, no idea what though, I just think she'd be fun to write about.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I had some minecraft ideas too, like for Hermitcraft, but once again I feel as if I can only write for Supernatural and sometimes Marvel for some reason.
I have an idea that I do return back to go quite frequently, where it's Phil, Kristin, Technoblade, Wilbur, and Tommy going to visit Phil's brother, Grian. In Hermitcraft season seven. That idea I've chipped away at for a while. I have a good intro but haven't worked out a good plot. So it hasn't gone anywhere.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I've also had some fics for Wilbur's characters but they're all pretty depressing/dark so they usually get put on the backburners.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I wrote a Spider-Boo fic once, and I'd like to return to that idea again, especially because I had Aimsey in it, and I liked writing their dynamic.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Stranger Things is interesting to write for, I haven't tried anything complicated yet, just different dynamics and characters, but they're really fun to explore. I really enjoyed writing Lumax, I owe them a happier fic.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I think that's all my thoughts for now. I mostly just talked about my fic ideas and what I want to write eventually. I just have so many ideas and not enough time to write them all. This was a nice break and refresher for me. I miss talking about fandom things. Alrighty, good night! I hope you all have a restful sleep yourself.

Jessie Fleming x Reader
Let her believe I never loved her (Part 1)
Tumblr media
Inspired by Cigarettes Out The Window x Dangerously Yours - TV girl/That tiktok audio that goes “let her think I never loved her”
Summary- R has been hopelessly in love with Jessie ever since she joined Chelsea but has never had the courage to tell her and then it's too late
Warnings- Magda yelling in Swedish, R, Niamh and Sam being little shits, Jessie being a cutie pie, Fluff
Word count- 1783
A/N- Pretend Pernille and Magda never left because I miss them and that Sam never did her forbidden 3 letters
A/N- All the Swedish and Danish are from Google Translate and I have no idea if it is right or not
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Just tell her! What's the worst that could happen?” Niamh urged.
“Well, I don’t know—maybe she doesn’t like me back, and I’d lose three and a half years of friendship!” you replied.
“That wouldn’t happen; she obviously likes you back!”
“You don’t know that! Just let it go,” you said, turning back to your bag.
“You can’t avoid it forever!” you sighed, zipping it up.
“Fine, yes I ca—” Suddenly, there was a knock on the door of your shared hotel room.
“Just drop it, Niamh,” you said as you opened the door.
You were met with a smiling Jessie. “Jessie! Hi!” Niamh poked her head out from behind you. “Hey, Jessie!”
Jessie made eye contact with you and smiled. “Hello, Y/N.” Niamh sighed loudly. “Okay, just act like I'm not here, I guess,” she joked, rolling her eyes.
Jessie broke eye contact with you to look at Niamh. “Hello to you too, Niamh,” she said.
“Do you want to come in?” you asked, opening the door wider and stepping aside.
“Unfortunately, I can't. Emma sent me up here because you two are taking too long, and the coach is about to leave.”
You turned to Niamh. “Look what you did! Now Emma is mad at us, and she's going to make us run extra laps!”
Niamh gasped. “It's not my fault you were too busy arguing with me about how in love with Je—jumping jacks! How in love you are with jumping jacks!”
“Jumping jacks?” Jessie turned back to you.
“Yeah, I just love jumping jacks in a workout,” You said, looking confused.
“Okay then! We need to get going.”
“Right,” you replied, grabbing your bag and dragging Niamh by her arm out of the hotel room, with Jessie following behind you, giggling at your antics.
The three of you reached the coach, where an irritated Emma Hayes was waiting. “What were you two doing!? You know what, who cares, just get in!” she said, dragging you and Niamh inside while Jessie followed closely behind.
“Y/N!” Magda called, waving you over. “You're sitting with me, come.” She patted the seat next to her. You parted ways with Jessie and Niamh and made your way to Magda.
“I’m surprised you’re not sitting with Pernille,” you said.
“Choose her over you? Never. So, how’s the love life going?”
You sighed rather dramatically. “It's non-existent.”
Magda raised an eyebrow. “So we’re pretending your massive crush on Jessie doesn’t exist?”
You instantly turned red and glanced at Jessie, who was fast asleep, cuddled into her neck pillow. You turned back to Magda, scolding her. “What if she hears?!”
“She’s the deepest sleeper in the world! I honestly don’t know how she fell asleep so fast. The chances of her hearing that are smaller than your chances of actually telling her you have a crush on her.”
Just then, you heard two gasps from behind your seat. Millie and Sam butted their heads in between yours and Magda’s. “Are we finally addressing Y/N’s huge crush on baby Canada?”
“Shhhh! What if she hears?” you hissed.
“As if she's going to hear; she sleeps like a bear during hibernation.”
“How do you know what hibernation means?”
“I just do! Now stop changing the subject!”
You sighed. “This conversation isn’t worth continuing.” You rolled your eyes and leaned further into your seat.
“Please, for the love of God, just let me sleep! I get enough of this from Niamh, and now you three?”
Niamh turned to look at you all. “Hey! I heard my name! What are you four planning?”
You groaned. “Nothing, Niamh! Now go back to fantasizing about your body pillow.”
Niamh looked stunned, and the whole coach erupted in giggles. “Y/N’s lying! I don’t have a body pillow!” she announced dramatically.
“Sure you don’t!” Sam said sarcastically.
After some teasing, everyone finally calmed down, and you were able to relax. You turned to Jessie, taking in her features: the freckles sprinkled across her beautiful face, the way she let out soft snores as she slept, and even the tiny drool on her pillow. She looked so peaceful.
Your trance was broken by Magda's voice: “You’re staring, creep.”
“I’m not staring! I’m just appreciating beauty.”
“Mhmm, sureee.”
“Just leave me alone; I'm going to sleep.”
Sam chimed in again. “Mhmm, so you can dream about your girlfriend.”
“Ooh la la,” Millie added.
You sighed, slowly succumbing to sleep.
“Y/n? Y/n, wake up!” someone said, shaking your shoulder. You groaned and leaned further into your chair.
“Just let me sleep, please.” You heard footsteps approaching and someone say, “Here, this will work.” Giggles followed, but you didn’t bother to open your eyes; you simply kept them closed.
Out of nowhere, you felt cold water hit your face, and you jolted upright. As you opened your eyes, you saw the culprit
“Niamh! You bastard!”
She started giggling. “You weren’t waking up! It was either that or a slap to the face.”
“I’d rather have a slap to the face because you’re weak.”
Niamh gasped. “I am not weak!”
From behind Niamh, you saw an angry Emma Hayes approaching. “Ladies! What are you doing? We have a game to play in a few hours, and one of you is soaking wet while the other is yelling that she’s not weak! And then there’s Jessie…” Jessie offered an awkward smile.
After some arguing and Emma dragging Niamh and I out of the coach, with Jessie following closely behind, we finally made it inside the stadium.
“So where are we going?” you asked, turning to Niamh.
“Jessie, where are we going?” Niamh echoed, looking at her.
“Do you two ever listen?” Sam chimed in from behind us. “I truly don't know what you expect from dumb and dumber,” she said, draping her arms over Niamh's and your shoulders.
Jessie groaned. “As if you can talk.”
“Blah, blah, blah. Anyway, Jessie, do you know where we’re going? I was doing media with Emma, and I got lost,” Jessie let out a breath. “Children surround me.”
Sam gasped. “I’m actually older than you, so that makes you the child. These two, though…” She messed up Niamh’s and I's hair. “They are children!”
Just then, my phone buzzed in my pocket. “Sam, shut up; someone’s calling me.” I pulled my phone out and saw it was Magda calling. I answered and put her on speaker.
“Hey Magdaaa! My favorite teammate!”
“I thought I was your favorite teammate?” Jessie mumbled.
“Where are you three? And have you seen Sam?”
“Hi, Magda,” Sam said. “You four are in so much trouble!”
“Sam made us get lost!” Niamh quickly protested.
“Whoa, okay, so blame it on me? You guys were lost before I even showed up!”
“Just shut up and get here!”
“And where exactly would ‘here’ be?” I asked.
“The changing room!” Magda yelled before ending the call.
“Anyone know where the changing room is?” you said.
“Oh my God, just follow me and don’t get lost,” Jessie said as she led you, Sam, and Niamh to the changing room.
We entered to find an angry Magda, Millie barely containing her laughter, and Zecira filming us.
“Vi har ett spel att spela om mindre än en timme och vad gör ni tre? gå vilse! Dumma, dummaste och dummaste!” She pointed at me, Niamh, and Sam. "Jessie you did nothing, but these three are terrible"
We have a game to play in less than an hour and what are you three doing? getting lost! Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest!
Zecira collapsed on the floor, laughing uncontrollably. Sam leaned over and whispered, “Yo, what the heck did she just say?” I shrugged.
Pernille stepped in from behind Magda, pulling her back from us while giggling. “Min elskede, they can't understand you.”
Magda looked like a ticking time bomb. “Just go get dressed!” she snapped, pointing to our cubbies.
The four of us headed to our cubbies to change. As we got ready, Magda came up from behind Sam and lightly slapped her on the back of the neck. “Stop getting the children lost!”
Sam looked offended. “Firstly, ow! Secondly, they were lost when I found them!”
We changed into our training kits and made our way to the pitch for warm-ups. We were paired up, and I got Jessie as my partner. I draped my arm over her shoulders. “Why hello there, pretty lady.” Jessie turned red, though it was probably just the cold. “Hello, Y/n.”
We found a free space on the pitch. “Are you ready to dominate warm-ups?” I asked.
“Obviously,” Jessie replied.
“High five!” I said, putting my hand up.
“Seriously?” she responded.
“Yes, seriously.”
“Are you going to trick me?” Jessie asked skeptically.
I gasped, “Never!” She gave me a high five.
“See? I told you I wasn't gonna trick you.”
“Surprisingly. Time to warm up before you get in trouble with Magda again.” We faced each other, using one another for stability, like that TikTok of McFoord training together.
“So, how’s the love life going?” Jessie asked.
I let out a breath. “The love life is non-existent,” I replied, switching legs.
“What about Real Madrid's goalkeeper, Misa? I saw you two talking after the game last week,” she questioned.
“Ooo, getting jealous are we?” I teased.
She lightly punched my shoulder. “Ow!” I yelped.
“That wasn't even hard! And I was just asking a question.”
“Nothing is going on between me and Misa. We’ve been friends ever since Alexia introduced us before the World Cup final. Why do you ask?”
“No reason,” she replied.
“Mhmmm, sure,” I said sarcastically.
“What do you mean ‘Mhmmm sure’? And why did you say it like that?” she asked.
“No reason,” I shot back with a grin.

A: Aftercare
She's very attentive and will get you anything you need to help calm down after sex

C: Cum (anything to do with cum)
She loves watching your expressions change when you cum
D: Dirty Secret

Magda prefers your shared home because of privacy but there have been times when you'd been roommates and used that to your advantage

V: Volume (How loud are they? What sounds do they make)
Magda isn't the loudest but she does make low groans here and there when she's fucking you
W: Wild Card (Random HC)
Magda does get jealous sometimes and sex is always a bit rougher when the two of you get back home so all you can think about is her and not the person who was attempting to flirt with you
Y: Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
It's in the middle but does lean higher when you two reunite after being apart
Z: ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterward)
Magda only falls asleep after you do and after she knows you're okay

Imagine this:
It starts with Bobby John. Dean can't let the baby go, he reminds him too much of Sam, way back when Sam was this age, and Daddy was always sad (or drunk), and when Dean tried to speak the words got stuck, and he could not make a sound. He can't let the baby go, so he doesn't.
Over time, they gather more. Bobby John, Ben, Joe and Ryan, Emma, Alex, Krissy and Aiden and Josephine, Magda, Claire, Jack. They find Jesse again, 16 years old and alone and scared of himself. They find Charlie and Kevin, and even though they aren't quite their kids, they treat them with the same care.
Somewhere in between the always rising tide of children, they find the Bunker. It's perfect - dozens of rooms for everyone to spread out, to have their own space. Bobby doesn't die, but he does move to the bunker "To keep an eye on ya' idjits,”. The modifications they make to the Bunker for his wheelchair are worth it to see the pride in his eyes. Linda Tran moves in, and she and Dean have an ongoing war over who's in control of the kitchen.
Of course, things aren't perfect. Chuck is still a problem, and eventually he must be dealt with. They win, but the cost is heavy. Cas and Jack are gone, and Dean... well he's as good as gone. He never leaves his room anymore, except to get a drink. Their dysfunctional family is mourning, both for those who they've lost and for themselves. Disappearing and coming back is much more traumatic than you'd expect.
Eventually, in an attempt to cheer him up, they convince him to go on a hunt. Just a small thing, a nest of vamps. They've killed a man and mutilated his wife, as well as taken their kids, two small boys. Someone (later, no one will remember exactly who) jokes that they can take in the boys. Sam and Dean leave, looking more cheerful than they’ve been in weeks.
They get the call a few hours later. Sam tells them over the phone, barely understandable through his tears, that Dean was hurt in the fight and that the doctors aren’t sure if he’ll pull through. Using the variety of cars in the bunker, they break a handful of laws and probably the sound barrier on their way to the hospital. Bobby pulls Sam aside and he explains, in detail, what happened. They wait for hours before a doctor finally enters the waiting room, asking for the family of Dean Fletcher* (Millie Winchester’s maiden name).
Dean survives, barely. Recovery is an uphill battle, and the damage done to his spine, muscles, and nerves leave him wheelchair-bound and in near-constant pain. Eventually, he’s able to move around for short periods of time using forearm crutches and leg braces, but it’s only after a few years and a lot of physical therapy. At the very least, the Bunker needs no new changes to accommodate him, having been updated for Bobby ages ago.
A year passes. The two boys from the vamp hunt are moved into the Bunker after their mother succumbs to her injuries in the hospital, and quickly adjust and thrive in the new location. Sam and Eileen quit hunting, permanently. They move to town, only fifteen minutes away, and visit every Saturday for family dinner. When they get married, Sam Winchester becomes Sam Leahy. Jody retires, and moves her hoard to the Bunker. They’ve got the room, after all. Donna follows not too long after. Miracle is officially trained as a service animal, to help Dean with his panic attacks.
One night, Dean can’t sleep. He hauls himself into his wheelchair and goes to the kitchen for a glass of water. He stops at the sight of three people sitting at the table.
The reunion is a tearful one. Dean cries from relief, and guilt, and of course the burning pain that rips through his back as a result of him temporarily forgetting he can’t stand and launching himself out of his chair. Cas also cries, sobbing apologies into Dean’s hair from where they are curled on the floor. Jack, pressed between the two of them and both overwhelmed and overstimulated, can only beg for Dean’s forgiveness. His dads wipe away his tears and press kisses to his cheeks, assuring him that he has nothing to apologize for.
The only one who doesn’t cry is Adam, sitting slightly stony faced at the table. Later, once the commotion of the reunion has died and Sam has been woken and summoned to the Bunker, the three sit down to chat.
Adam tells them that he’s not angry anymore, and begs them to explain everything to him, starting from the beginning. He is especially curious about their father, and realizes through their stories that John badly mistreated them. Dean invites Adam to stay in the Bunker, but Adam declines. He says that there’s a lot he needs to do, but hesitantly suggests that they stay in touch. Their relationship is tentative at first, but eventually he becomes a permanent fixture in the family.
Cas and Jack are filled in on what they missed. Dean pulls them each aside and apologizes privately for the things he said and did before the end. He assures Jack that he is part of the family, and always will be. He tells him he’s willing to be Jack’s dad, if that’s what Jack wants. Jack enthusiastically agrees.
He can’t quite bring himself to say “I love you” to Cas, but he says something along the lines of “maybe one day.” He also implies to Cas that John was extremely homophobic, and the combination of that and the sexual trauma he has experienced through his life (getting money for food/rent as a teen, Hell, Lydia) makes him hesitant now to form romantic relationships. Cas, understanding as always, agrees and comments on how he has improved at opening up, to which Dean replies that there wasn’t much else to do when he was trapped in bed and couldn’t escape Sam and his relentless therapy-talks.
Jack tells them as a group that he has decided there doesn’t need to be a God, and has stepped down after reforming Heaven. He says that he used his power for the last time to bring back Castile and find Adam. He confesses to his parents that the power is not gone, and likely never will be. He also says that he would like to grow up as human as possible, and promptly shrinks to the size of a toddler, much to the bewildered amusement of his parents. They discover that he no longer has his memories, and Bobby suggests that they may come back when he’s older, and that forgetting is his young mind's way of protecting itself.
As time passes, Cas and Dean open the Bunker to other hunters as a research facility and safe space to stay for a few nights. Neither of them hunt anymore, but they offer support and badly needed organization. With Charlie and Kevin’s help, they set up a system like the one Sam originally had.
When Eileen and Sam announce they are expecting, Dean is ecstatic. When they reveal the baby is a boy and that they are naming him “Dean II”, he cries for a solid hour. He’s the first, outside of Sam and Eileen, to hold the baby, who he affectionately nicknames “Junior”.
In the end, they are happy. They live together peacefully.
Would anyone be interested in reading this on ao3? I miiiight be planning to write this… also any suggestions/question/concerns are welcome! Also, if I missed any kiddos (canon only, please), feel free to tell me! I’m perfectly open to expanding their hoard.
Also, I cannot take complete credit for this story. Quite a few elements are inspired by foolondahill17’s stories, Dean Winchester’s half-way house for orphaned half-monsters (and humans), and the miracles ‘verse by the same author. Both are absolutely amazing stories, and I highly recommend.
*According to the Supernatural Wiki, Adam Glass wanted the actress Louise Fletcher to play Millie Winchester should she appear on screen.

by the way, AU where Sam adopts Magda and takes her home to the bunker before BMOL can kill her. Dean is of course apprehensive at first but over time he gets used to her in the bunker, and she gets used to it too. she even starts to feel safe, and happy, and Sam feels fulfilled and overjoyed that he’s given her such a good life free of the torture before. she gets on with Jack and Cas homeschools them both. they’re a happy family, coexisting and branching as Winchesters often do. so when the BMOL finally track her down to the bunker and kill her anyways the fallout is devastating.

omg i just finished your emma vs amy takes and the subsequent discourse about it (which was so refreshing to see btw!! love it when adults can be Adults and argue about the topic without insulting the other person) and I might get fried for this but that incident aside, do you have any other scene/episode in mind where sam reacts the same way or does the same thing?
(im sorry if this isn't your cup of tea for asks! your takes have been Enlightening)
You mean another situation where Sam shoots a person with supernatural abilities who hasn't shed blood and has a sympathetic backstory without giving them a chance? Not as overtly—Benny in season 8's "Citizen Fang" certainly comes to mind, but even Benny, Sam at least made a show of giving a chance by assigning Martin to keep tabs on him and make sure he didn't do anything wrong before trying to kill him. (Though whether there was conscious or subconscious sabotage involved when Sam chose Martin specifically—someone he knew to be mentally unstable—is certainly a good question given Sam had already made death threats about Benny before then.)
The fact that Sam's behavior in 7.13 "Slice Girls" is pretty unique is really what I want to point out about this episode in the first place—that Sam's actions in "Slice Girls" are inconsistent with his previous behavior and future behavior as far as "good" monster episodes. We can turn to examples such as:
1.14 where Sam insists they try and talk Max down instead of killing him, because Max's murders are a result of extensive abuse.
Lenore and her nest in SPN's seminal "monsters can be good" episode (2.03)
Sam thinking Andy is responsible for the killings in 2.05 but still waiting for proof before acting.
2.09 where Sam insists they not kill someone they think might be infected with Croatoan virus before he turns and tries to kill them because that doesn't give him a chance.
Two episodes where Sam faces off against Gordon because Gordon wants to kill him before Sam kills someone (2.10, 3.07)
2.17 where Sam and Dean search for a cure for Madison, who is not aware that she has been killing people.
4.04 Metamorphosis where Sam is the one who takes the initiative to research Rugarus, learns that they can survive without giving into their urges, and insist they go and talk to him about how his body is changing (lol) so he has the chance to fight the urge to kill and eat people.
5.06 where Sam and Dean oppose Cas who wants to kill Jesse, who is a child who is not aware that he has powers and is hurting people.
6.02 where Sam, even soulless, recognizes the innocence of a shifter baby.
Then we have Amy and Emma in 7.03 and 7.13 respectively.
8.04 where the brothers let Kate the Werewolf go because she was turned against her will and killed the man who turned her in self-defense.
8.09 Citizen Fang (already discussed)
I'm getting lazy but then we also have Magda and Jack Kline—both children with powers, one severely abused, the other the son of the devil with uncontrolled explosive powers that could end the world, both of whom Sam attempts to help work with their abilities.
Dean has a more structured series of personal "rules"—a litmus test we see from the very beginning—one Sam often follows as well, but I'm not sure Sam ever really fully grasps that Dean thinks this way.
Has this person hurt or killed anyone?
Was it on purpose or was it outside of their awareness?
If it wasn't on purpose, are they capable of learning to control their urges?
We see this code as early as 1.12 "Faith":
SAM Wait, what the hell are you talking about Dean, we can't kill Roy. DEAN Sam the guys playing God, he's deciding who lives and who dies. That's a monster in my book. SAM No. We're not going to kill a human being Dean. We do that we're no better than he is.
Dean applies the same reasoning in 1.14 with Max:
SAM These visions, this whole time -- I wasn't connecting to the Millers, I was connecting to Max! The thing is I don't get why, man. I guess -- because we're so alike? DEAN What are you talking about. The dude's nothing like you. SAM Well. We both have psychic abilities, we both... DEAN Both what? Sam, Max is a monster, he's already killed two people, now he's gunning for a third.
Despite the exact opposite being the typical fandom perception, early on we learn that Sam tends to define a monster by their features/abilities, while Dean defines a monster by their actions. We see the same with Amy—she is "a monster who killed four people" (7.07) . She isn't a monster because of what she is but because of what she did. This again—is also why Dean doesn't even consider killing her son right after her kid swears to kill him one day. We see Dean, in the rare cases where it comes up, is also perfectly fine with taking out human serial killers they stumble across (ex: Thin Man).
Sam will also kill a human serial killer at times (and murderous witches by 3.09), but he reserves the word "monster" to describe individuals with supernatural features/abilities... and I think the fact that Sam's definition of the term differs from Dean's is something neither brother ever fully realizes about the other, leading at several points to arguments where they are talking past each other and do not understand one another. Sam hears "monster" and thinks "Dean is talking about me", when Dean is operating under a completely different definition of the term that is based on the actions of a person.
When Sam is in a headspace where he is thinking of himself as one of those monsters, he shows increased or lessened sympathy in turns. For example, he assumes Andy's guilt in 2.05 because he is panicked about becoming evil himself and is comparing the two of them (but again—still waits for confirmation) but his sympathy for Max in 1.14 comes from the same comparison with himself. Sam completely misrepresents Amy in 7.03 as an addict who relapsed but more generally is "managing", as a way to compare her with himself... when Amy didn't feed on anyone herself and her actions have absolutely nothing to do with addiction or battling "monstrous urges".
I've been bitching and moaning a lot, but I will reemphasize that there is a more sympathetic reason that Sam shoots Emma—Sam and Dean are both crowding up to the diving board at the deep end of the pool in season 7. Dean's grieving and is drinking extremely heavily to cope and Sam is hallucinating. They are both unraveling at the seams. Neither of them is in a place where they trust the other's judgement because they both know themselves and each other to be unstable. So if we imagine a reality where Sam and Dean give Emma a chance, and it doesn't take, Sam assesses himself and Dean to be in no mental state to cope with a potential surprise attack. It's just that Sam also erroneously compares Amy and Emma when they are not the same, and by doing so, frames Dean wanting to spare Emma but killing Amy as hypocrisy (because they are both "monsters") when Dean's actions are perfectly consistent with his personal ethical code and his definition of a "monster"... and Sam's actions aren't.

Tumblr media
The woman spoke in a slight accent, making Natasha smile like an idiot.
"I uh-" The redhead cleared her throat. "I'm Natasha. Natasha Romanoff." She took steps forward with her extended.
Green eyes watched her carefully before quickly looking Natasha up and down.
Yes, she noticed the tags around Natasha's neck.
"I work here. On the farm." Natasha spoke with honesty as a soft hand met hers. The touch was gentle. "Oh!" Green eyes sounded surprised with a hint of excitement. "Well, in that case, I'm Wa-"
"Wanda!"
"Our girl!"
Everyone turned to the sound of Erik and Magda exiting the house and running down the porch steps. Excited to see their daughter, Wanda Maximoff.
Their daughter Wanda!
Natasha's eyes became wide. She pulled her hand away and watched as the mysterious person turned around and greeted Erik and Magda with a hug.
Shit! Natasha thought. She hated how her heart was beating right now.
What's worse was the smile Wanda shined when she briefly looked Natasha's way after exiting the hug with her parents.
It was the most beautiful smile she had ever seen be graced upon someone. Natasha especially liked the two front teeth. They were cute, and she could feel herself start to melt under Wanda.
This was trouble for Natasha. Wanda could sense this as she looked back at Natasha before glancing at her friends.
"Sam!" Erik turned away from his daughter and stuck his hand out to shake the driver of the Jeep. "Sir." The man inside the open Jeep stuck his hand out the nonexistent window and shook Erik's hand. Erik then looked from the man named Sam to the other occupants of the SUV. "Bucky, Carol, Darcy, Monica. Hello!" Erik smiled and waved.
They waved back.
"Hey, Mr. L. Who's that?" Asked a dark-haired younger woman with glasses. Darcy. She was pointing at Natasha.
All eyes were on her again.
"Oh!" Erik spoke up with a smile. Natasha moved a few steps closer and made sure to make eye contact with everyone. She raised her hand and waved. "Hi, I'm Natasha. Natasha Romanoff, and I'm Mr. Lehnsherr's new farmhand..." Her eyes slowly drifted past Erik and Magda and to the green eyes of Wanda. "I see myself being her for the foreseeable future." Natasha's eyes darted away.
Sam looked down at Natasha's chain.
"Did you serve?"
"Samuel!" Erik snapped his head towards the driver and shook it. Sam made a what?? face. Natasha cleared her throat and nodded. "No, it's alright," Natasha said to Erik as politely as possible. "But, yes, I did. Eight years."
Natasha missed the sound of Wanda's quiet gasp.
Sam swallowed his throat. "I have a buddy, Riley, who serves. It's honorable." Natasha smiled but shook her head. "Thanks." She wasn't ready to talk about the past she just left.
Wanda could see that, and her teasing smile and wandering eyes softened as she stared at the side profile of the sweaty redhead.
"Well, you're jacked!" A supportive voice came from the guy in the passenger seat. Wanda quickly looked in the direction of her friend Bucky. She watched his eyes scan Natasha like she was something he wanted.
Wanda unconsciously flared her nostrils and stepped forward, faking enthusiasm before Natasha could respond. The older woman watched Wanda. "Well, thank you, Sam, for driving!" Wandas walked up to the door and hung on it with a smile as she looked back at Carol, Darcy, and Monica. "Keep these boys in line, Danvers." The blonde laughed. "You got it."
Darcy looked from Wanda to Bucky.
She noticed and would always have Wanda's back. "It's rude to stare, Buck," Darcy said, making him pull his eyes away from Natasha. "I wasn't staring." He said before realizing how loud he was and turned away.
Missing the glare Wanda sent and the tilt of the head from Natasha.
Regardless, Sam laughed and got the jist. "Have a good one, Wanda." He said quietly with a wink. Monica slapped the back of his shoulder. "Just drive."
"See ya, Mr. L!" Darcy sang from the backseat for everyone in the car. Erik smiled and waved back as Sam started to turn the Jeep around. "Be safe!"
Everyone waved as they passed Natasha, who smiled and returned a courtesy wave. The redhead noticed a wink sent by the man named Bucky from the side mirror. She turned away and found the eyes of Wanda Maximoff looking up her body. Natasha swallowed and cleared her throat. "Well, I'll let you all catch up." Natasha smiled and turned to walk away when Wanda spoke up. "Wait!"
Natasha stopped and slowly turned back. "Come join us for lunch." Natasha looked past Wanda to Erik and Magda. They weren't planning on having lunch quite yet, but there was nothing wrong with having Natasha join and help out.
Especially if Wanda was going to join instead of spending her time ignoring her responsibilities by posting pictures and videos on the internet all day.
"Oh no, I have more work to get done and-" Erik stepped up and placed a hand on his daughter's shoulder. "Romanoff, come on. Wanda won't bite." He joked, but that's just what Natasha was afraid of. Wanda sinking her teeth into her because Natasha knew the second that happened, it would be all over.
Natasha cursed internally and nodded. She placed her work gloves into her back pocket, and followed the family inside their home. And Natasha didn't mean for it to happen, but her eyes found themselves glued onto the back of Wanda's tan thighs.
Wanda could feel it and hide a smile as she turned her head to the side. She cleared her throat.
Natasha immediately looked up and turned red from being caught. Wanda looked up and down Natasha before raising her eyebrows and turning back. "Mama," Wanda spoke up as she kicked off her shoes by the front door. Natasha was afraid of what was going to come out of Wanda's mouth. "Yes?" Magda and Erik stopped to hear their daughter's next question.
Wanda briefly glimpsed at Natasha, who was gently stepping out of her boots.
"Oh shit." The redhead thought.
"Where is Natasha staying?" She asked, knowing she made Natasha sweat. "Tiny House," Erik said. "No need to worry about her." He smiled and kissed his daughter's head before turning to Natasha. "Once you wash up, join me in the kitchen, and we'll cut up some potatoes." Natasha nodded. "Yes, sir."
Magda patted her husband's shoulder as he walked past. "Like Papa said, no need to worry about Natasha here, little one." Magda then turned to Natasha as Wanda walked up a few steps. "She always worries about the farmhands." Natasha looked past Magda and found Wanda winking.
Oh, she definitely "worried."
Natasha smiled. "Well, nice to know there's another person that'll be here in case anything happens." Magda smiled at that. "Oh, is chicken, potatoes, and rice okay for lunch? My husband just assumed." Natasha thought back to all the pecking she endured. She nodded. "Yes, ma'am."
"Good." Magda smiled and went to join her husband in the kitchen.
Natasha looked up to Wanda on the steps. Wanda was staring back with a teasing smile. "You were checking me out." The younger of the two said.
"You checked me out, too," Natasha replied. Wanda lightly laughed. "Yeah, but didn't you hear? I worry about the farmhands."
Natasha closed her mouth and rolled her tongue over her teeth, unknowingly making Wanda bite her bottom lip. "Well..." Natasha looked up to Wanda. "You don't need to worry about me. It won't do us any good."
Wanda didn't like that. She pulled her teeth back into her mouth and smiled with the look of someone who hated being told no.
She stepped down a few stairs and lowered her voice just above a whisper. "Being bad is more fun." Natasha swallowed as Wanda came closer and looked up at the body of the redhead slowly. "Natasha." Wanda husked out her name and made Natasha look her way as their green eyes reached each other. "You'll see." She said before turning around.
Natasha could breathe again.
"Oh, and in case you were wondering, my room is at the end of the hall on the left." Natasha gave nothing. So Wanda smiled. "You know the window you can see from the tiny house."
Natasha walked away with this new information and locked herself in the bathroom.
Her hands gripped the sides of the sink as she looked at herself in the mirror. "Get yourself together, Romanoff." She whispered shouted at herself. "Yes, she's fucking incredible, but she's your boss's daughter." Natasha sighed, and a flicker of Wanda smiling and her tan skin worked its way into Natasha's mind.
She looked up at herself in the mirror again.
"Get it together."
