The 80s were a prime era for pop culture and economy. However, there’s an ugly underbelly of the city. Crime, scandals, and disease crawl through the city streets. Not many discussed it but everyone feared it. 

Where skyscrapers climb on every block, so do the crime families. Hiding behind politics and businesses they keep in plain sight. 

Unfortunately, it’s hard to bring these crime families to justice. The bosses aren’t the ones committing the crime, but the soldiers are. 

It’s easy to join a crime family of your choice, all you have to do is commit a crime of their choosing. That way if you ever try to leave they could threaten to turn you in. It’s a small price to pay for protection and money.

Hello there! 👋

Lately I have been completely enthralled with the monstrous and beautiful relationship between Lestat and Louis from Interview with the Vampire.

As we all anxiously wait for season three, I’ve been feeling extra creative and finding myself wanting to explore these characters a little deeper. I’m slowly making my way through the books (currently I’m on Merrik) and have of course watched both seasons of the AMC show. I just can’t get these two out of my head.

A little about me:

10 + years of writing/roleplay experience

Para writing style (often multi-para depending on the scene)

Nsfw, kink, & dark theme-friendly (vampires)

I will only roleplay with people 21+

I am on the West Coast in the PST timezone

I have multiple ideas and storylines for these two floating around in my head, but I would love to discuss and develop some fun ideas together. I prefer to roleplay and communicate via Discord, and I have Tupperbox, but am not adamant about using it. If you have another app you prefer to use, please let me know – I’m open. 😊

I’m open to playing either Louis or Lestat and do not have a preference. Each character has a lot of depth and will be so much fun to explore and portray. I’m mostly looking to have fun with other fans who are as hopelessly obsessed as I am.

If vampires can get drunk and high off mortals under the influence of drugs, it implies that mortals on the right cocktail of psychiatric medication could aid vampires who suffer from mental illness that went untreated in their mortal lifetimes. Of course this would have to be done very carefully, and it would necessitate the use of farms for proper administration of medicine. But. This could be a breakthrough for certain blood drinkers who walk among us. Perhaps fewer of them would go into the sun.

I have no problem with medicated blood, but I don't see the point of it either. For one thing, it's beyond any consistent access to the average vampire. Any vampire wealthy enough to have access to farms is likely old enough to have survived a long time without psychiatric intervention.

For another, and the wokesters will cancel me for this, but I'm saying it anyway: I don't believe in psychiatric medication. I've lived through centuries hearing hucksters swear up and down about this tonic or that and although some have said they work, that has, in my opinion, always been "cope". Medication is a scam and psychiatry is a lie.

But I am concerned for you, sweet child. First, you reblog my post lamenting vampiric immortality and whether it be better not to live eternally, and now you send me this Ask about vampiric mental illness and suicide prevention. You sound... "depressed."

Is your maker beating you enough? A genuine question, as I believe it may improve your mood. Are they neglecting you? Do you need me to come and beat you?

I don't mind. My grandfledglings aren't speaking to me right now. I may have made a mistake burning one of them and completely burning my great-grandfledgling to ashes. It was not my place. I am very lonely.
