I have a really bad habit of procrastinating everything. I feel like its gonna be the death of me, how do I stop procrastination? what kind of motivation is the best?
Hi! Boy, I’ve been there - here’s a list of resources that may help you beat that procrastination:
Apps that will help you get your shit done
Staying motivated
Anti procrastination masterpost by @elkstudies
How to stop procrastinating by @studydiaryofamedstudent
6 ways to avoid procrastination by @ivystudying
Productivity and Procrastination by @mystudypencil
Overcoming Procrastination by @studious-simplicity
Types of procrastination and how to deal with them by @emmastudies
Writer’s Block as recommended in this post by @studytothe97
How to stop procrastinating by @ashleigh-studies
Focus Timer as recommended by @we-get-shit-done
There’s no one step fits all approach to managing procrastination. It’s going to happen, many many many times - whether it be in the context of study or work.
Sometimes, I think rest - removing yourself from the situation works, particularly if it’s a short term issue. Finding new ways to do the same old shit, essentially.
If it is a long term issue - something that keeps recurring for years after years, I really think it’s time to take a step back and consider your options. Perhaps the mere act of procrastination is hinting at something deeper - (and no, I don’t mean that “it’s telling me I’m A LAZY FOOL GDI”) - a career change, a field change, disinterest in what you’re doing, dissatisfaction/ distraction in other areas of your life.
And in the end, managing procrastination is largely dealing with the guilt that comes with procrastination.
So to that end, let me tell you: it’s normal to procrastinate sometimes.
We’re only human.
Human.
Not robots.

Back to School Resource Masterpost
Hi everyone! It's that time of year again, back-to-school and all the excitement of learning new things, along with the stress and anxiety that inevitably occurs. I've been on Tumblr for longer than I'd like to admit, and have compiled a long list of resources below!
Please note that I did my absolute best to find the original links to all of these posts, but many of them are 4+ years old and the users have changed blog names/deleted. If any of the links don’t work, or there is a link to an original post which I am missing, please let me know! Many of the master posts have dead links so if you find any updated resources please feel free to add on :)
