Even though it's been a few days, Dakota's visit to the magic realm and his interaction with James has been heavy on his mind. He discussed it with Joey and Jillian both and has decided not to give it anymore thought. He has more important things to think about.

In a few short months, he and Jillian will be first time parents. They've decided to start discussing names.

"I want a name every other kid in his school will have." Jillian comments. "But I don't want to go the complete opposite and name him applesauce or something like that."

"We could name him tidy bowl." Dakota jokes.

"We are not naming him that!" Jillian tells her boyfriend through laughter. 

Dakota chuckles as well and beings to list a few names. "Ames. Ivyl. Ansil..."

"Hmm...not bad." Jillian says with a nod in thought. "How did your Mom get your name? My Mom named me after her favorite character off a soap opera..."

Dakota grows quite for a few moments. "Thad actually picked out my name. One of my great grandfather's was named Dakota, he was a powerful warlock." he pauses and shrugs a little. "I guess it's one thing Thad actually did for me."

Jillian nods a little bit, taking in the information.

Dakota decides that was enough talk about his sperm donor Father and decides to go back to listing names. "Hiram, Slade, Homer."

"I like Slade. Slade Laws." Jillian comments with a dreamy smile. 

"I think we just found our son's name." Dakota whispers to Jillian before planting a kiss on her temple.

something you collect: oh god, lots of stuff! enamel pins, stickers, mugs, magnets, silk scarves, concert t-shirts, i'm sure there's more. i'm a nostalgic knick knacky kinda guy.
