discord wanted to bring back celestia, but in the process his body was sacrificed, and he became white rabbit, a reborn, undead celestia fused with discord. the white rabbit is now somewhat a cryptid in the everfree forest, and sometimes stalks canterlot castle, leaving luna to think shes haunted by her sisters ghost.

Me and my sister first watched JoJo's together and when we got to P5, she HATED Ghiaccio, she thought he was ugly, loud, weird, and just overall a horrid character and she CELIBRATED when he died, and so - the evil younger sibling i am, decided to make liking Ghiaccio my entire personality and eventually ig that morphed into an actual like? NOWWADAYZ, Melone is my fav cuz i relate to him the most! Purple is my fav colour, nd i LOVE Biology - it was one of my best subjects in Secondary, i get really maternal for no reason; BUT HE WASNT MY FAV WHEN I FIRST STARTED WRITING FOR JOJOS! Writing him as MCs best friend in DK was what made me more fond of him nd now ive been infected by the Melorne virus...

Been just under 3 years but safe to say the "hyperfixation" phase of my shera fandom membership is over. I know it's over because I no longer have the desire to draw the characters in Situations. Ive been rolling over into passive fixations instead.

Recently the closest to a hyperfixation has been crt gaming. I kept having dreams of getting a crt. So i got one. It's a small 480i tv so not very great but it scratches the itch! Maybe one day ill get a bigger better tv, or a crt monitor, but those things are going out of commission fast so maybe not. I wish theyd make new ones. Id be willing to pay big bucks for a new progressive scan crt with lots of input options, though thatd probably make it an edtv and it wouldn't be legal for Smash tournaments due to input lag lmao.

Ive also been watching jojos bizarre adventure with Kim. The music in this show is such a banger that I cant stop thinking of it. Shame they seemed to stop the licensed ending songs after the start of part 3. Roundabout and Walk Like An Egyption are hits.

I don't think itll become a hyperfixation but I do want to draw because of it. The jojos art and poses are so fabulous.

honestly, i think i love (or at least like...) every single part, a lot of these are really close together, like if i could id put 5 and 7 both into first place, and then 6 and 4 both in second. but that's not how rankings work! so i had to really pick apart all of them for little details that would make it go above or below another.

putting 5 above 7 kinda hurts because, objectively, yes steel ball run is an INCREDIBLE story. even completely outside of the jojo framework it is genuinely amazing. but when it comes down to it... golden wind just means more to me personally, like its more near to my heart. this could be entirely because ive just known it longer. like i just finished sbr VERY recently so maybe it has to simmer in my mind more but idk. see i was (and still kinda am) one of those people who obsessed over EVERY part 5 character, and something like that... it sticks with you. okay. you never recover from that.

in part 6 and 4 i have the OPPOSITE problem, where i have pretty much equal personal feelings so i have to go off of objectivity. part 6 is just better written than part 4, like factually. what part 4 is really missing is something part 6 excels at, and that's character development. the character development in parts 6 + 7 (and also 8 probably, but im only on like chapter 30) is just incredible, and before that jojo had been... kinda lacking in that regard. and that pretty much is what boosts stone ocean over diu, diu is amazing and compelling and is a really good story, but stone ocean is also all of those things and has more development.

i think if this was a points scale, sdc and pb would have a pretty equal amount of points, both in completely different areas. stardust crusaders is better story-wise, especially compared to phantom blood, but the thing is is i just.... dont care about it very much? i will admit, it's been a minute since i've watched it, on a revisit my opinions will prob change but i've simply fallen out of love with the characters. which isnt something that has happened for the later parts! but phantom blood is boring. it's a much less interesting story, it has much less interesting characters and stories, but i like it more. i can't exactly pinpoint why, i just think about it more than i do part 3. i think generally im really into the parts in the victorian era... they get darker, more gritty and edgy, in a way i rlly like.

part 2 doesnt even come close to the other ones though. not at all. i NEVER think about part 2. it has the same quality as part one, which is not very good but i don't even like it! i neeever think of part 2. thinking about the jojos? joseph never even crosses my mind. thinking abt the jobros? who the hell even is caesar. thinking about the antagonists? i dont even remember kars' personality. it has been a looong time since ive watched part two, but it's been even longer since i've watched part one and i still like it more!! sorry part 2 stans, it is just noooot my thing.

i love starlight express obv, also dune, the dear hunter, golden kamuy, and theater (some of my fave shows are cats, lsoh, spongebob the musical, cabaret, sweeny todd, a lot of starkid stuff i love) i wouldnt really call mushc of that "fandom" interests though. i just recwntly finished dorohedoro so definitely that, doom patrol and to a lesser extent the (non mcu) spiderman stuff. im into mdzs but i dont talk about it much bc fans are insane, also tbh im not super into jojo anymore its just by far one of the most mainstream things im into so when i post about it it sticks out :0 also i <3 horror media i watch at least 3-4 horror movies a week

outside of media i really love clowning and circus stuff (esp its history and etymology), i like ttrpgs but its been a while since ive played any, my fave is deadlands (though it needs some homebrewing to make it good tbh) also fungus and mycology, biology and botany in general! also kittycats and moths :)

watching your art evolution through your art tag has been really interesting. around late 2015 you developed that snappy, angular art style that you used in a lot of your Kira art, then it kinda faded back into your style from pre-2015 with the new elements you've picked up. does your art feel different to you? your process?

its really funny you sent this because Ive been thinking about it a lot! my art does and doesn't feel different. or rather, I don't consciously make big changes to my style but I certainly notice it happening.

my more exaggerated art was influenced a lot by JoJo, as you noticed. though I didn't try to move away from it entirely, I stopped using the style when a very traumatic experience caused me to suddenly and drastically cut my connections with the JoJo fandom.

when I moved to the KH fandom to distract myself, I realized I didn't like the way my style looked with the characters, so I tried softening things out to better match the airy, lighter tone and emotion the series gave me. as a result things started shifting that way.

that's primarily in my digital art though. I find it difficult to directly translate the look and style of my traditional art to my digital art, and as a result I think you'll find my traditional art still hews very close to the more angular and graphic style.

I'll admit I've worried lately if my art is as interesting to look at, as dynamic and creative. This year I'm trying to do my best to harmonize the best of both worlds.

So all this to say, thank you for noticing my journey!

When the Angels Left the Old Country

I haven't touched it in a hot sec, but its a queer, historical fantasy ya book based in jewish folklorex about an angel and a demon that leave europe, after a girl goes missing from the village they've set up shop in. It's very light and whimsical which is not my usual fare, but I'm enjoying it! Its very heartfelt and the two main leads have very good chemistry. And its always cool to see angel/demon lore outside the usual christian sphere.

For manga: steel ball run (part 7 of jojos bizarre adventure) its. A story about a cross continental horse race to find the body parts of jesus. Which is the most coherent way i can put it. Im rereading it w two of my friends rn and im enjoying it! It isnt my favorite part, but its up there, and features some of the best stuff in the series. This is. Also a story featuring a pair of ride or die protagonists with a very strong dynamic and chemistry (honestly, best 'set' of protags in the series) and so much comes from their bond. Its at the point in the series where it started getting a monthly release and it shows, w some rlly gorgeous art. Gyro and Diego are highlights artwise because the former doesnt have a stand he just. Has these steel balls he spins and throws around, so you get very dynamic shots of him just. Chucking them that the author uses in super creative ways to lead the eye and compose panels and the latter. Can turn himself and other things into dinosaurs. Have you ever seen a dinosaur ride a horse? Its fucking sick. It also has some interesting themes of american imperialism and christianity, of all things, which i think are done, well in some respects, esp given the authors track record. IT ALSO HAS SOME OF THE WORST STUFF IN THE SERIES THAT MAKES ME WANT TO KILL HIM W HAMMERS.

Jfc jojos bizarre adventure is holding me at gunpoint. Its not good its not bad (besides when it is) it its own tier of media. I forgot how much 15 year old me was obsessed w it and so i foolishly rewatched it thinking id be. Normal. I was wrong. God. I've never seen anything like it! It's so clearly a passion project from someone who's very eccentric and so it goes from absurd and stupid and comedic to circling right back to being very human and poignant. Like, it's about love! And familial trauma! And prevailing in the face of great tragedy! And also killing the president because jesus told you so! It's got a myriad of flaws from technical writing issues to genuinely tasteless/bigoted content, so its not some untouchable media, but ive been enjoying it a lot.

Part 5 and 8 are my favorites for very different reasons.

Part 5, Golden Wind, is abt a bunch of weird mobsters on a roadtrip through italy to kill their boss. It has a very charming supporting cast who are a sort of found family of societal rejects, brought together by this guy named Bruno who acts as a leader + mentor + sort of dad? To them. They're all surprisingly fleshed out characters, esp for this early on in the series, and their group dynamic, combined w some of the best fights in the entire show, really sell this part. The main character and main villain are. Not good. Sans a few aspects. Tho. Like i forget giorno is there half the time. (Giorno is my beloved stale cracker of a character but hes MY stale cracke, tho)

Part 8, Jojolion, is uh. Hm. It follows this amnesiac dude who wakes up in the dirt, as he tries to piece together the person he was. It's set in an au version of the town from part 4, w some characters being spins on old ones. Its the most recent part, and it shows. Its a lot better structured, paced, and developed compared to earlier parts. The mystery running through it has a lot of fun twists and turns, the themes are coherent, and the pace is slow, but not meandering. The supporting cast is fun (the lead's romantic interest is an actually decent jojo woman and they have a very cute relationship, and the family the main character is sort of adopted into are all fucking insane) but the real draw for me was the main character. Josuke (the second. Theres another josuke from an alternate universe in part 4, anyway) is probably my favorite jojo. I could go on about him, but compared to the others, he feels the most real? Theres this very grounded sense of frustration abt him as he tries and fails to piece together who he is, while everyone around him seems to have somethimg they need from him, or an idea of who he SHOULD be. He isnt a hero, he isnt even all that noble, hes just trying to find himself and if anyone out there loves him. He's blunt, one track minded, and is doing the jojo equivalent of spamming x to skip through all the dialogue bc hes not here for anyones shit beside his own. Jojolion somehow captures the feeling of being a weird, displaced pseudo adult trying to piece yourself together, while everything Keeps Fucking Happening. I love it so much. But by god does the ending suck hoooooly shit oh my god dude jesus christ. Fucking. I hate tohru i hate tohru i hate tohru fjcjendnxzlzm. Anyway jobin sweep

Im currently running a csm tabletop n curse of strahd game, and am in a ravenloft game. They're all very different but i love them all.

Ravenloft game is a sort of sequel to the curse of strahd game i was in a while bsck

I play pageturn (kenku paladin) and coda (changeling flavored as fallen angel, bard). Ones a 13 year old w a kill drive going through a double crisis of faith while somehow being the heart of the group and the others a shapeshifting corrupted celestial, whos trying to find themself. we are currently exploring the fomain the latter was imprisoned in and have found the eye of vecna and. I am. Excited and concerned for what our wonderful dm has cooked up.

Chainsaw Man game is a high stakes office drama following the worst group of devil hunters youve ever seen. Its more episodic and light than my other games which is a nice change of pace, and i rlly like the energy our group brings to the table. I am always horrified and surprised by whatever new government supplied human rights violation they commit next! Every character is uniquely sad, while still maintaining the token csm dark comedy abt them. We are currently revisiting a mystery allll the way back from our first session and im stoked for some stuff i have planned.

Sippy Crew (curse of strahd game) is drawing to a close and ahh i could make a whole post abt how much these guys mean to me. Its been a joy dming for this group of freaks and watching as they come together not into a found family, but a group of distinctly doomed, but fiercely loyal individuals. They've had two pc deaths, even more close calls, and have lost so much, but they're pushing through like dandelions in concrete. Its genuinely the most emotionally invested ive been in a ttrpg, and am so excited, to see their journey come to a close, and will miss them dearly.

Both jojo and ttrrpgs have been a way to reconnect with friends i dont usually talk to as much, and strengthen the bonds of the friends that i do, which is why theyve hit so hard, haha.

ooh thanks for the ask lira^^ (ive never gotten these before lmao) 1. my first anime ever was probably yu yu hakusho, probably because i had an older cousin living with me and we had to share the TV all the time and cuz he was older he would be in charge almost every time we watched so i just watched whatever he watched. my favorite anime is jojo's bizarre adventure i've been a fan for a very long time (probably cuz my cousin also introduced me to it) but i've watched the anime and all of the rohan spin offs and im currently reading the manga (im on the last few chapters of part 7) and im saving up money for diavolo tomonui tbh i actually used to be obsessed with jojo before hypmic/paralive 2. besides paradox live and hypnosis mic, i actually really like "The Orion Experience" they are probably my favorite band and i absolutely love their albums "Sugar Deluxe" and "Children of the Stars" im also a theater kid so besides hypmic and paralive i actually listen to a lot of musical soundtracks (recently i did a class production of mean girls where i played janis!!) my favorite musicals are Ride the Cyclone and Beetlejuice 3. i do write but not as much anymore, a couple years ago i did write a lot but i guess i got really burnt out. one of my posts before mentioned that the last fanfic i wrote was like 2 years ago but if i did have a favorite i guess it would be a fanfic idea about kantaro and reo, where it focused on both of their insecurities towards each other. kantaro attempting to deal with his social media obsession, insecurities and now jealousy towards reo, while reo on the other hand was dealing with the possibility of his fans "abandoning" him for another idol and feeling insecure/jealous about it like kantaro my ideas for the fic was that it was gonna be fairly dark with psychological horror and angst in general. i called the fanfic "Copycat" and honestly i might consider writing it but for the time being im kinda busy so maybe sometime in the future i will^^

Captns Log 45_ Its what you make it

So far I have begun my quest to travel all the seas of SL, this is what ive done. A cute solo trip with Orion my lil furbaby. I discovered a few dope spots along the way, which is the most fun part of exploring the mainland. There was an actual indian temple playing recordings of old hindu stories being narrated on the land that was a vibe... and I also found a really pretty European looking beach town, and squatted at this gorgeous villa on the water for a couple days. XD

I had a time, no one owned or bothered me either it was pretty abandoned XD I forgot I had some company also... did some fishing, and fryin.... and other things...

I also ended up discovering other islands that is also lots of fun! & Places that the moles built long ago... really feels like being a explorer of lost worlds...

Homebody Foxey, I really will just log in once a week to pay rent and thats it, thats been my SL for a few months and a couple sexy pics here and there for proof of life XD and here we are updated, we went in for Black August , honestly put it all together last minute, I am becoming more reliable and learning about ADHD and how to tackle certain ways my brain functions lmaoo that is also helping me with the things that matter to me to show up for them. Meroe Museum is a legacy, its a time capsule for the entire black and brown diaspora. It is a place that represents unity and love and healing.

I am so proud of myself because this year I finally did something that was put on my heart to do years ago when I first joined up with Meroe, to hold meditations on the campus. I recorded a special mediatation for ancestral healing and posted it up, it took me a lot of courage to do, which I didnt realize I needed. But it went really well and the meditation is really powerful, so much changed in my own life since I did that meditation. I was working a big ritual for ancestral healing in that week and all of it is now embedded into that recording which is now available for anyone to listen and tune into...

Secondlife is changing, but its really how you use it that makes a difference, just like everything else in this world.... thats why nothing can be over saturated because every person has their own perception, lane, and function of being.

Its unfathomable sometimes, how vast the combinations are in this reality to create a new element.
