lowkey inspired by obama’s summer playlist, but a little less eclectic because there’s overall less on it. originally i had blackpink and iu on his top artists and songs, but i changed my mind because ptv fan buck is very important to me. i feel like his music taste as a whole has probably been derived from all the people in his life, which is why aaliyah’s try again is number one on his top songs. we know that maddie used to pick him up from school and i cannot get the image of a young buck was in the passenger seat of the jeep singing his heart out to whatever love song he definitely cannot relate to out of my head, sooo…here we are. i have a lot of thoughts about his music taste but that is for another post.

this was literally the easiest one i did. i also think he likes corridos but there were too many artists in the pool if i included them so i kept it down to country. i feel like nobody who follows me knows what corridos are, but just know that eddie’s love of corridos is included in pretty much all of my writing featuring him. ofc i had to put selena on there because i love selena and i think that eddie, being the tejano man that he is, also enjoys selena. idk why whiskey whiskey is on there. let’s just say he’s in his edmundo noches era or something idc. he also likes to listen to songs that chris liked when he was little because he thinks it’s funny when he covers his ears and stares out the window, but also a little bit because he misses baby chris in the backseat singing along to florida georgia line. he is very delighted in five years when chris takes his girlfriend to a florida georgia line concert as a date though.

Could I ask your perception/belief of Jikook’s individual sexualities/sexual gender preferences. I know it would be your opinion, as you don’t know the guys personally but I know you try to base your deductions using the content we have on them.

I *personally believe* that Jimin has silently screamed for a looong time, that he has accepted his queer identity after struggling with what he felt a man should be and getting over trying to act manly to be a man. Anyone would be deaf, dumb and blind to not look at the latest two examples, his photo-folio and the Like Crazy MV, where Jimin has clearly shown us through his art that he embraces his masculinity and femininity and his queer/bisexual sexuality.

In regards to Jungkook however, I don’t think he has shown as much through *intentional symbolism* as Jimin, in regards to his sexuality. I *personally* believe Jungkook to be firmly gay, not bisexual. I personally believe that he, like all who come from conservative, heteronormative cultures, felt the need to prove his heterosexuality and did the normal things teenage ‘straight’ boys should do, within the realms of being a young boy/teenager. Him giving IU as his ideal woman, I *believe* was more so him believing that was a easy/cop out answer because he was a fan of her as an artist and it would be easy to give her as an answer as he knew a lot about her being her fan. I do t believe he was ever sexually attracted to her.

I do believe being a trainee, then debuting allowed him some freedom in not having to continue to play it straight. I believe he did ‘give in’ to his sexuality in the way of his ‘gay awakening’ with Jimin. I DON’T believe Jimin ‘made him gay’! I believe he always would have accepted his sexuality eventually but Jimin was the catalyst to wanting to pursue a relationship with a man. Jimin was worth taking the leap into fully accepting himself.

Looking at examples of Jungkook LOVING Jimin’s early day ab exposures and even one Bon Voyage where he was rubbing all on Jimin’s abs. And let’s not ignore the countless stares of Jibooty. We talk/joke about Jimin’s strength kink all the time, but Jungkook def has a toned MAN kink too.

Enough of my rambling! I’m really sorry for the long ask, I love reading your stuff and took this as an opportunity to ‘talk to you’. But I really want to get your thoughts, as I know you always strive to include evidence as well.

[INTERVIEW] 230922 IU in Elle Korea Oct Issue (Part 1 of 2)

Q : You are full of good news for your upcoming 15th debut anniversary which will take place on September 18. Starting from the media art exhibition, you also had your “IU Concert: The Golden Hour” film premiere and now the fan concert which will be held for 2 days at KSPO Dome.

I have been really busy. Since there is not even a day for me to rest in September, I have been wondering whether I will be able to prepare the fan concert well or if I should delay the fan concert, but in the end, it will be the most fun if we celebrate the debut anniversary during the debut anniversary. It is a little bit too much, but I am doing my best to prepare for it.

Q : I think the meeting between Elle and IU which takes place today can also be a present for people who love you.

That’s true. Especially since I can show my new side whenever I have a photoshoot with Gucci. I hope that throughout September my fans will find it as a gift.

Q : You uploaded on your SNS, “Fan Concert? Although it’s my first time (doing this), I have a feeling that this is my expertise”. After preparing for it, do you think so?

Because of my “You Have Done Well” filming, I have to go back and forth between Andong, Jeju and Yeoncheon. Whenever I get to Seoul, I practise for the choreography and the ensemble, and it is really tiring? But when the practice session started, it became like a festival (laughs). We picked less popular songs that we ourselves like, boldly rearranged those songs that seemed like fans would probably have listened to a lot before and it is has been really fun while preparing for the fan concert.

Q : The fan concert was sold out during the pre-sale for fanclub members. You are an artist who is ahead of taking countermeasures to prevent organized ticket reselling or scalpers from reselling tickets for a premium. Is it a characteristic of yours that you need to solve a problem whenever it happens?

Although it will not be eradicated just because I step forward on this issue, I still think it's important to show my willingness to do something about it. As a result, we worked together with other companies to come up with some good ideas to deal with this.

(TL note: If you report a scalper and Edam Ent investigates and finds evidence that the person is indeed reselling the ticket, then Edam Ent will give you the ticket instead as a prize. If you already have a ticket to IU’s concert, then you receive an unreleased IU photocard instead as a prize.)

Q : During the media exhibition “Moment,” last summer, which was held to celebrate your 15th debut anniversary, you released a little bit of the guide recording version of your popular songs, like “Through The Night” and “Palette”. Is there any reason for that?

If I am able to record the guide version, I will usually record it by myself. Through this process, I have great affection for the song, because you can improve your song interpretation skills or your knowledge about music. After all, music is about discovering really good moments even if they are raw and sloppy. I thought it would be nice to show the guide recordings which I have collected and listened to by myself all this time, so I picked a few of them. I also thought it would be nice if I let people listen to just a teeny bit of the song that I prepared for my new album, so I also revealed the unreleased song. I am proud of the fact that everyone got really excited about it.

Q : You also created “Uaena’s Room” for the exhibition while thinking about your fans. To IU, what kind of a person is Uaena?

I have shown everyone a few times my ‘storage place’ where I collected all the items that I cherish. I re-created the storage place at the exhibition and then made “Uaena’s Room” which looks like a mirror image of it, as if this is a décalcomanie. It started with the idea that I think Uaena are people who are very similar to me. I don’t know what kind of life each Uaena has, but I feel that I know the attitude and focus that a person has when you like someone and how soft your heart becomes in that moment.

Q: It’s already been 2 years since you released <Pieces> at the end of your 20s. In the album introduction, you wrote ‘the pieces in between my 20s that I didn’t bother to take out’ and included 5 songs right? Which piece do you think is the odd one out?

Even when I was recording “Drama” which I wrote when I was 20, I worked on it while thinking, “Ah, I can’t make my voice sound like this anymore. If I do it now, it seems like I’m just pretending.” Yet, on the other hand, I’m not someone who changes much as a person. I also feel that the parts of me that are immature and lacking will not dramatically become more impressive (laughs).

Q: Do you feel pressured about releasing your new album?

During the course of preparing for this album, there was a point when I did a 180 degree u-turn. Having released albums one after another without any hiatus so far, this time I have not released my own album for about 2 years, so I think during this period of time, the direction of my thoughts has changed a lot. Now that my songs are taking shape one by one, I think 2 years passed by rather slowly (TL note: meaning 2 years has been a long time). I feel like I’m rich because I like how the songs turned out. I’m talking about my ambition here. I think this is a good time for me to say such things.

Q: You’re the idol of idols too. There are many KPOP artists who covered your songs, bought your merchandise and shared their concert reviews with their fans. Why do you think you have received so much love?

Staying faithful to music is something that I take pride in. I think it could be the closeness and happiness they feel towards someone they have been watching for a long time. As someone in the same industry, perhaps it’s the feeling of wanting to cheer on a senior who has been doing this for a long time. I’ll do my best to repay them with my gratitude when the moment comes.

Ch8: the gift of Life

The fight had continued on….and it seemed like it won’t stop anytime soon, Eric and moloch continued to fight as well as for Makaila and her own biological father SCP 049. “Well my dear, seems like you never inherited some of the things of your mother…” 049 smirked as Makaila glared up at her father still with the same hurt and anger in her eyes.

Eric and Moloch continued to fight seemed like they were throwing each other around like toddlers being careless about their toys.

Meanwhile Frankie, Eddie and Grant including Nina all four of them are trying to hurry before the situation gets out of hand but most importantly for Eric and Makaila…she can’t afford to lose them both…at least not her future daughter in law…Makaila….since they both met Makaila has looked at Nina as a mother figure.

Back at the battle now that Eric has finished defeating Moloch he looked at Makaila with a smile “we did it Hun…we-“ then 049 used his lethal touch on Eric as he dropped to the ground limp…this made Makaila panic “ERIC!!” she ran to his side and try to wake him up “Eric! Eric babe please wake up!!” Her tears spilled down her face as she put her head against his chest…that’s when…a tingling sensation ran down her hand her sclera had turned purple as her eyes started to glow a cyan blue….then she put her hand on Eric’s heart…her eyes continued to glow as the mask on her lower face started to dissolve into ashes…her quirk got so strong that she started to lose vision in her right eye…as she pulled her hand back

And she fell down to the side and breathed heavily….a few seconds later Eric shot his eyes open as he sat up…

He was dead…but thanks to Makaila…she had the touch of life…and this time they saved each other…

Eric quickly got up and ran to Makaila who was asleep…he checked her breathing and pulse everything is normal…he picked her up and walked to his mother and his friends…as he said

“Just call a doctor”

He said exhaustedly….as long as Eric has Makaila and as long as she has Eric…they are one harmony…..

izuku loves bts because of the messages in their songs. he finds their story so inspiring. izuku relates to the fact that they built up their legacy from the ground up with nothing but hard work, and that they were ignored for so long. definitely listens to spring day and young forever when he is sad and just sobs (just like me fr). if you knock on his dorm and ask if he’s okay, he will squeak out a response insisting he’s fine. but you can still hear him sobbing into the pillow during the pauses before the next queued songs play. oh and izuku’s bias is namjoon because of how well spoken and intellectual he is, but he admires all members for their passion. oh and and ochako introduced him to twice!! he loves how cheerful their music is.

shouto undoubtedly listens to loona and is not afraid of admitting it. it’s like the patrick bateman meme - he walks with zero emotion but hi high is blasting in his headphones. however does not know their names, or at least he cannot put name to face. but yes he knows their whole discography. bought an album once and he was shocked at how many inclusions there were (he was expecting just a cd). eventually discovers the loona universe and fan theories and for a week straight it was all shouto spoke to his friends about. they got so annoyed they blocked the word loona from their social medias temporarily so it wouldn’t set him off on a spiral.

hmm.. katsuki loves dreamcatcher. this man has got superior taste. i feel like katsuki would mainly listen to rock music and hip-hop. so other artists he may appreciate are dean, dpr live and epik high. but sometimes you can hear red velvet coming from his dorm and if you question him about it he will scream at you (if it plays when katsu is drunk you can even catch at a peek at him doing the choreo when he thinks no one is looking).

also a cultured man as kirishima is a fan of twice. he joins the girls when they had ‘girly’ sleepovers and learns the dances from them (this headcanon applies to all their ‘girls night’ sleepovers. kiri makes them so much fun). this is especially fun during award shows, where they all gather around a laptop, eyes wide and glossy as they wait for their favourite groups to hopefully be announced as winners. definitely films the dances on tiktok and also shows them to katsuki later. based on mina’s recommendation, he would probably listen to ateez too!

i sense a neverland. this man is obsessed with (g)-idle. denki has a crush on soyeon (he is me). denki cried when soojin left (i did too) but will take this to his grave. also loves stayc. he most certainly owns a few albums. he prefers girl groups over boy groups because he is a bit of a perv (sorry denki i love you!!). but also because denki believes girl groups have superior music. his most played song of all time is tell me by the wonder girls.

Hello! I know I am late. But I had scheduled the post and Tumblr decided to not post it. So I have to redo it. Idk it just vanished. And I wasn't on Tumblr yesterday as I had gone out. So I didn't even notice.

I think I remember you said once that taehyung gets all his opportunities through his famous friends… and wow has that been true for his promo so far. The Joanna chun family art event he was sitting with jisoo at, showing up at Hyoshin’s fan meet, going on IU’s show and being besties (I had no idea they were so close- probably through seojoon), this seojoon store opening he just rolled through with his jungkook-lookalike backup dancer who everyone is shipping him with.
