Positive thought of the day: "If you're surrounded by people who take the fun out of your passion, then get rid of them. It's better to let go of the people than to let go of the passion." || I've had a couple people tell me similar things this year. Some of them have remained, but ironically, some of them haven't. I heard this again today and I wanted to share it, because I really like this concept. If you love something but the people surrounding you create a negative atmosphere, then there is no point in keeping them around. Your passion and happiness is more important than the people making that happiness disappear. They could be the best musician you've ever heard, or even the person you thought would be by your side for a long time, but if they aren't good people, then they are not worth keeping around. Speaking from personal experience right now, it may hurt a lot when those people leave. And while you're still wishing / wanting them to stay in your life, realizing that everything happens for a reason is very important. And even though it may hurt a lot, sometimes it's for the best. Just keep believing things will get better, and they will. Emotional wounds take time to heal, just like physical wounds. Be patient and everything will work out. Sometimes it takes people leaving and having to go through pain to allow more wonderful things to happen. 💕

I sing at church, I'm going to be doing a Christmas concert at a seniors center, caroling at hospitals and nursing homes in the Indy area, and so much more. I have created my own fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital and participated in many volunteer opportunities with my church and other organizations. Shoutout to @sophiasprom for having amazing dresses and helping girls feel and look beautiful!! ☺️❤️
