Next part finally! I'm not 100% happy with this but i was starting to feel burned out from repeatedly redoing certain parts ((lookin at that third page ���👀)) y'all get some of my version of readers 'lore' ((i have snake trauma okay don't judge me 😤) and the prince finally speaks

The prince isn't being a jerk for the sake of being bad and evil, he's genuinely concerned! Demons aren't known for being kind to women and the pilgrims are rather infamous on top of that... Not a good mix in his eyes (even tho he's got it all wrong he's trying to give her a way out))

One of the only times when the role is reversed… Wukong being the one who soothes and calms M!R while she sleeps. She doesn’t know that he does that though, and Wukong kinda wants to keep it that way, at least for now.

Wukong: (Puts M!R’s head on his lap and strokes her hair, calming her down)

M!R: (Totally oblivious to what happened last night) Man, I had such a weird dream. You were in it, Wukong!

Reaper AU

So I said that I wanted to try my shot at creating an AU, since I've been reading and enjoying lots of xReader fan fics. Although I love the thought of Reader being a regular person from the modern world, I like a bit more fantasy, so I am mashing two of my brainrots together to create what I think is a solid BG for Reader. It's loosely based on Magic Design's two video games that they published, but with my personal twist to it. I am going to treat them pretty much the same character wise, just add a little OOMF to Reader. With that being said, here's my shot: Let's start with Reader (I'm writing it as a self-insert, but this can be anyone). Reader was a soul judge and an student working directly with her Nari, Death, before being isekai'd into the Journey to the West. She doesn't know how she ended up in Ancient China, nor how she can understand a whole different language besides English, but before Reader regained consciousness, a voice told her to find a certain monk...... no more specifics, cause gods and celestials have to have some level of cryptic, and that "she'll know when she sees him". When Reader wakes up, she noticed that her clothes have changed to time appropriate clothes, and with a bag with her codex with her wand/staff that she uses to learn the spells her Nari teaches her (she's not supposed to use a wand to cast spells, but it helps her with the spells she has not mastered). Meanwhile, Heaven and the Jade court are panicking because here is a completely foreign phenomenon that happened so suddenly, and not even the Underworld has any records of who Reader is or how they got here. All they can do for now, is hope that Reader is not violent, and plan on commit crimes and be an absolute menace like a certain monkey.

That's all I have for now. I'm not sure about a solid story just yet, but I can create interactions on how everyone interacts with each other. <3 <3

To save his ego he had a private chat with Sophie and he was very dramatic about it. He just wants to be her special boi even if he doesn't want to admit it.

What really happened..well...let's just say that there was a tiny misunderstanding and the secret admirer was just a normal guy who just wanted to thank Sophie for giving advice. But alas it was too late and the rumors spread like wildfire. Marshal Liu informed Sun Wukong that there might be a possibility that Sophie has a secret admirer according to the rumors around the Flower Fruit Mountain (especially in the palace).

And all I could think about was... where is MK in all this?

Truthfully, all I could think of is MK's probably gonna be the one to have accidentally brought them here with an ancient artifact while fighting a demon or maybe something out of Wukong's hoard of artifacts/treasure or even from somewhere like an ancient temple without meaning to XD. He'd probably stand there like this 🧍while those two dorks are worrying/panicking (mostly reader) their heads off on where on earth (or preferably 'in the multiverse') they are without even noticing him there. If he's with his friends while this is happening they'd probably either have a mix of feeling shocked or even amazed. I'd probably imagine Pigsy saying like "Oh no, there's two of them now" followed by an offended 'Hey!' from Wukong in this universe XD. And if another reader does exist in this universe, I'd imagine that she'd also be in shock and amazed to see another version of her from another dimension whose supposedly currenty on a Journey To The West nonetheless (though she probably doesn't need to know that the only reason she was there in the first place is because she died and got isekai'd by a certain Goddess of Mercy to accompany the pilgrims on the journey).

It's all up to you! I'd like to hear what your idea of where he would be at this time.

Though if you want, you could also imagine yourself on where he might be at this time XD.He could be delivering noodles and have a feeling that something's wrong or maybe he's probably at Wukong's, training while this all is happening. Then if so, he wouldn't be the one to meet those two first, they'll probably either meet his friends or foes.

Guys, ittw is not an au it's a reader insert fic I made. If anything, Isekai is the au but NOT Isekai'd to the West. It's a title. Not an au. Please stop treating it like it is. You can make your own isekai and jttw content just come up with your own name for it.

I named my fic Isekai'd to the West so it'd be unique and recognizable but also tie-able to the original work of Journey to the West. I chose it out of a long list of other names for that exact purpose, and now it feels like that's been ripped away from me...

✨ anon here, I was picking grass seeds off my cat earlier and had a thought.

How would monkey reader react if wukong started grooming her out of nowhere? Would she be embarrassed at all or would she immediately jump into monkey brain mode and groom him back?

I do not recall this exact scenario being answered before, the closest one being this one, so lets get our pen and roll up our sleeves ~

Not gonna lie, M!R would be elated once Wukong started grooming her back. At first it would surprise her but she's long accepted the fact that she's a monkey by then and is diving head-first into all of the monkey shenanigans. She would lean into Wukong's touch, all the ASMR tingles bouncing around her scalp. She hadn't had anyone touch her head since she was a young girl, having been subjected her elder sisters' urge to dress up their youngest sibling, and is reveling in it.

She's not eating bugs though. She still thinks they're gross.

Have you ever gotten a brainrot so bad, that you expected it to last for at least a few months but turns out it lasted YEARS?!?!? That's me, that's me with Journey to the West....so bad, that I actually gave in and made a Tumblr account just to see what the fandom has created with their itterations and feeding/ enabling my monkey brainrot XD. Now I'm no Character Artist in anyway, I'm a background painter, but I am building my own self insert by combining my two favorite brainrots I have at this current moment in time. Let's call it......Reaper AU (dun dun DUUUUUUNNNNN). I'll post more about it as soon as I organize my thoughts in word form :V
