It’s by pure accident that Felix discovers them. It’s been decades since he took his girlfriends — and later only Pepa — to the little stream uphill by the waterfall. He’d been strolling after having a drink with friends after their kids’ soccer game.

Camilo, entangled with Marco. The later having abandoned his colorful shirt in the bushes. Riled up after the game, no doubt. Felix relates. “Oops, sorry.”

“DAD!” Camilo yelps, yanking his hands away from the other boy’s naked chest. “Uhhhh-- I mean–” His son tries to recover by turning into the Orosco’s girl.

Felix waves dismissively. “I’m not here.”

like. walk with me. but you're basically like. isagis childhood neighbor right. he's a few years older than you by then you too. like you're in elementary and he's in middle school. one of these days you're in a fight with other older kids (and they're kicking your ass) and isagi gets in the way and pulls his whole like tsk tsk what r u doing bullying a kid younger than u shtick and the kids then run away

and from that he tries to walk u home and u basically idolize him and he just. figures you're a little boy. like u have a gender neutral ish nickname and u dress in boardhosrts and big shirts and its hard to tell and plus you always rough house with isagi. you just have a Rough personality in general and u call him aniki which he finds funny.

and for the few years ur in the same neighborhood ur basically always with him and he never figures it out. ur in his room and he teaches u to play soccer (u prefer baseball at that point) and u spend all of ur time in his room even when he's in exams etc.

i think u move like,, just as he gets into highschool. far enough away that he doesnt see u again for years and years.

and then when he's in his mid twenties he comes back to his hometown and subsequently So Do You.

you've been moved in for a while and his mom had told him that before once in passing but isagis spent a long time playing in germany so he hadnt thought about it until he comes back and his mom is like. oh u should go visit them and say hi and isagi is fondly like aw yeah i wonder how that kid grew up.

and so . u know. he goes over. plans to say to your mom. is curious about how u grew up cause he hasnt kept in touch at all. yk.

and then. he goes over and a woman answers the door. and hes like ....?

but before he even gets to ask, you positively light up. like BEAMING. and you go "aniki? is that you?"

?!. isagi is in shock. he literally is like. What. Huh. but like. that voice. that face. like you look the same but the years have softened you out, made your features more... idk... he feels wrong saying girly but ? maybe thats it.

and the way you talk is EXACTLY the same. rife with slang, kind of rude, clearly picked up some gyaru slang while u were away but you're not exactly dressed that. u have boobs now and isagi is . short circuiting. and he says your name and FUCKKK your smile is exactly the same. like the same toothy almost silly vibe about you.

you invite him in like nothings changed and for u it probably hasnt. but he's literally malfunctioning trying to keep up. bc its YOU. like it is. you're the same kid he remembers messing with his soccer ball in his room and frowning at the stuff he studied for his highschool entrance exams. and those few years between u then felt like so much but youre both adults now.

its so disorienting. isagi really loved you even when you were kids. obviously it wasnt like That then. more like u were a fond, distant memory of his childhood that he can appreciate looking back. u have siblings but isagi didnt so it was less lonely with u around since he was an only child.

and he was looking forward to reconnecting, really!! he had all these plans about going to play soccer with you and asking if you had a girlfriend. but . But . what !!!!!!!!

he doesnt say anything i think. but you do insist he takes you down to the 7/11 to get snacks like when you were kid, and you make the same cheeky comment about making him pay since he's older and he's rich now and isagi gets the most doki-doki lovesick as feeling and almost passes away because no!!!!!!! why is he feeling that for you!!!!!!

internally he's yelling at himself but he does do it anyway bc he still likes making u happy. its familiar and warm and you end with your legs stretched out in a loose hoodie sharing chips and a drink and you're like,, smiling so familiar about old memories and the feeling just keeps Being there persistently. and he's like stop that rn!!!! he cannot!!!! for many reasons!!!!!!!

bc it feels weird since he rmbs u as kids but also bc it feels unfair to only be thinking of u this way now that he knows. and after he spends all evening with you he Resolves himself to not pursue anything while he stays with his parents.

(but how well does that resolve hold up when he begins to Notice your rather obvious feelings for him?)

warning: i am an american with a incredibly basic understanding of footy ("soccer"). there is a reason the actual talk of any gameplay is basic and limited

fernando is this new guy to Lawrence Stroll's footy team right. (because in every universe, lawrence has to own a Team.) i can imagine he's some draft pick from spain for a new striker or something like that. possibly some trade, maybe a mid-season exchange (they do that in american football but idk if they do that in footy) those who know specifics of positions in footy please let me know your thoughts on what position fernando would play

lance: couldn't give two shits about footy. he's seen maybe once in a blue moon on the sidelines tagging along, and he's known for being visibly bored or on his phone during matches. (he has the Pout Blast 3000 for this.)

the reputation he receives from fans is much like the perceived impressions he gets irl: some spoiled kid who shouldn't be there. he's more into hockey than any match his dad's team could ever play.

now when fernando shows up its like a fucking slap to the face. like. "holy fuck i didn't think they could be this hot" type beat.

for the first time, lance shows up to a team practice with his father, not just a match. but he's really not there for the team: he is enamored by fernando. his speed. he's a sly yet devilishly handsome fucker with this wicked grin when he knows he's tricked his opponent yet again, and lance is obsessed.

not only does he start going to way more matches. he also starts showing visible interest and gets invested. and he gets loud. the mumbles online about his "spoiled reputation" turn to joy. he becomes a meme of the team for a few weeks after a clip of him getting frustrated after a poorly-called card is given to fernando ends up going viral.

and maybe this entire time, fernando has been watching this young boy from afar. he totally believes he can't be with his literal manager's young son and jeopardize his spot on the team and a shot at glory. and maybe he believes that lance initially isn't interested. but maybe when he sees lance become more invested in the team, he figures he might have a chance. he just can't figure out why lance has become so invested in what was, quite frankly, a very short amount of time.

so maybe fernando's on the side for a while in a practice. lance is there, but he seems distant. not in the game. not really watching the drills by the other players with much enthusiasm. and fernando's a smart man. and he puts some pieces together in his brain. and makes a move.

he comes up to lance and asks to talk with him once practice is done. when all the other players are gone. in the locker room. of course lance agrees

flash forward a bit. n lance is like. hanging out by the exit outside of the locker room. he counts all the players. and when there's only one left. he goes inside. finds fernando sitting on one of the benches, still in his kit.

they get to talking. what lance does outside of being at games, (i can imagine him being a student but i don't have the will to kin assign him a major right now), what his favorite hockey team is (habs. of course) and of course, the loaded question:

"lancito, what's gotten you so interested in the team now?"

of course, lance doesn't really respond to this, kinda dances around the question. he gets flustered. he doesn't want to be found out. what if he sees right through him, what if he already knows, what if he tells his dad??

fernando leans in slightly, and slides his hand over lance's hip. he cups his chin softly, and slowly turns lance's head to look at fernando straight on.

"be honest, niñito."

and when has lance ever been anything but honest.

i like returning to this story from time to time. it's comforting. everyone deserves a little bit of tanjiro in their life

one of the first yaois i have ever read, still one of my favorites, and another re-read only confirmed me in my opinion. amazing slice of life story with the right pinch of angst to it

this story teared me into tiniest pieces, chewed through, swallowed, spat me out and chewed again. and i mean this in the most positive way possible. brilliantly brutal.

a story of seven lives

expected a sweet story about pets. got hit by a bus. surprisingly complex story about loneliness, survival, love and trust. but if you're sensitive to the topic of animal abuse...better avoid it. don't fall for a cute cover, it's a hurt/comfort story

home office romance

i admit, i got it only because i saw higuruma in that guy. i stayed for the story. it's such a warm, adorable and hot nerd 4 nerd romance! it's sweet but knows where to add spice, and the author knows how to build the tension.

under my skin

yeah, it's a gay smut. but what kind of gay smut. if you like mature characters and guys in suits being bottoms, that's the meat for you. sex scenes are so hot they got a bl veteran like me blushing.

kabukicho bad trip

yeah, it's a gay smut x2. but also an interesting take on dom/sub relationship. i don't see many bdsm manga around, i'm going to cherish this find

her main weakness is pitching because she throws the ball softly to avoid other players being hurt, her batting is below average and only works 45% of the time by chance

but she is a top teir runner & fielder the second where she sees a piece of trash or a small animal in the middle of the field, she doesn’t play about her environmental actvism🙏

i would describe her as kind-hearted and gentle to the other backyard kids, rhoda tries her best to be friendly and approachable. her main passion in life is helping animals and the environment, another pastime of hers is spending time outdoors.

othef info & headcanons :

• rhoda is 14 yo so this makes her like the 2nd oldest in the “trio”

• the nickname “daisy” comes from how she loves anything about plants & how nice she is

• she throws with her right hand and bats with her left

• her proportions make her look super lanky and tall but in reality she is like the same height as jocinda

• rhoda’s ethnicity is african american

• its not that noticeable but she is the only character to have more spaced out wide-set eyes

i went for a more beachy/summer theme for her since i thought it was cuteee also i was slightly inspired by the mamba gyaru style, also in this version she has braces!!

Clyde!!

his main weakness is pitching due to his god awful eyesight and his weak right arm when pitching

for a boy who mostly stays home and plays video games his fielding and running stats are above average cause he is an absolute unit compared to everybody else so of course he would be decent in those 2 categories

the reason why he is cracked at batting is that clyde channels all of his pent up anger and frustration into hitting the ball, from his power alone he broke like 4 different baseball bats in half

i would describe him as a social recluse who has trouble with being sympathetic towards others, this causes him to act entitled and irritable if things don’t go his way

the only positive to him is that he is somewhat determined to do his best, with him being more calmer it balances our rhoda’s eccentric personality and veronica’s more childish one

other info & headcanons :

• clyde is 15 yo and is the oldest in the trio

• his nickname “sparky” refrences the explosion simple graphic on his shirt and how he has random bursts of aggression when he is to carried away when playing on the field

• he is the same height as billie-jean, he could basically dropkick 75% of the kids if he wanted to

• clyde’s best sport is football while his worst is hockey

• clyde’s right hand is practically useless, clyde only knows how to throw with it while his dominate hand is his left when batting

It was the first day of class and Truham School for boys has announced new form groups. Charlie stared at the room number scratched onto the back of his hand for what felt like the millionth time today. He made it to the classroom door and took a breath. He knew none of his friends were going to be inside, they had already compared schedules. Elle was at Higgs now anyway. Charlie entered the classroom and said hello to the teacher.

"Charlie Spring!" Said Mr. Lange.

"Happy new year! Let's see, where did I put you on the seating plan... ah, yes, you're over there next to Nick Nelson, he's in year eleven only a year older than you."

Charlie nodded and headed to the back corner Mr. Lange had pointed to. Nick was already seated and was busy looking out the windown as Charlie approached. He looked at the seated boy; tall, broad shoulders, athletic type, with strawberry blonde hair that fell over the top of his head as he ran his hand through it. His attention was drawn back to the classroom as Charlie pulled out the chair, and set down his bag.

"Hi"

"Hi."

Charlie didn't know very much about Nick at all other than he was the captian of the rugby team and that he came out as bisexual last term. He remembered a random year 8 walk up to him, Tao, Elle and Issac during lunch

"Did you hear? Nick Nelson is gay! What a lo-"

Elle rolled her eyes. "I heard he was bi, actually"

The kid ran off before he heard her.

The weeks passed and Charlie found himself looking forward to form every day. He and Nick had been getting along really well and Charlie just felt so comfortable around Nick even though he couldn't figure out why. One day, Nick's pen exploded ink all over himself and Mr. Lange assigned Charlie to go with him to the washroom. It was an unlikely paring but Nick had somehow become Charlie's friend.

Charlie was going to lunch when his phone buzzed. He looked down at a message from Beth. Beth was a very popular year 11 whom he had met a year ago in the hall outside the band room. Since then, Beth would text Charlie and ask to see him regularly. Charlie still wasn't sure why she wanted to see him sometimes, especially when she didn't ever seem to want to hang out with him or even talk to him in the halls, but she was beautiful so Charlie would always find the empty room and there she would be. As soon as he closed the door behind him Beth was right there hands on his face, pressing him with kisses. Charlie pulled back, hesitant.

"Hello to you too."

Beth rolled her eyes. "Hey. I missed you." In between kisses.

Charlie pulled back again, farther this time.

"What do you want Beth?"

"What? Can't a girl miss her best boy?"

"I'm not your best boy, Beth. I'm not your anything. You won't even look at me in the halls and I'm tired of only ever seeing you in empty rooms while you snog the soccer player of the week at the front gate."

"Oooh someone's mad today." Beth said with a fake pout and another eye roll.

"I don't see why you're upset, you get to kiss me too, after all. Besides none of them kiss like you Charlie Spring."

Charlie held back the rage.

"Well I'm tired of being your guy on the side. Last year you told me how much you liked me but you didn't want your parents to know you had a boyfriend. It seems you're not afraid after all, you just don't want to be seen with me."

"Charlie its not my fault my friends think you're odd. It's not so much you, but your friends are all reaaaally weird. And you're in the band so like, you're a little odd."

She scoffs at the end of the sentance but then exclaims "heyyy!" When Charlie pushes her off him and opens the door. With the door open Beth jumps back and before she can protest Charlie says

"Don't text me anymore Beth. This thing between you and me? It's over." He leaves.

Nick walked down the hall searching for Charlie, he was sure his locker was down this hallway. Nick stood a head above everyone else so it didn't take him long to spot Charlie's dark curly hair half way down the row or spot a slender arm reach up and pull drum sticks out from inside.

Charlie plays drums? That's really cool, Nick thinks as he takes a deep breath before getting closer. He and Charlie had gotten considerably closer this term and Nick was trying to assure himself that the sensation that came over him anytime he was near Charlie was strictly platonic- just the excitement of making a new friend. Last year when he told the boys on his team that he was bisexual, a few of them had reacted poorly at first, and the teasing grew beyond typical banter. It wasn't long though before Nick's friends and the coach rallied and put a stop to the bullying, from students on and off the rugby team. Since then, he'd been navigating being out with the support of his friends and mother. His father wasn't around at all and his brother David was a dick about it still, but David was a dick about everything all of the time so it didn't bother Nick all too often.

"Allright?" Nick asked as he arrived at Charlie's locker.

Charlie looked up at Nick and smiled. Nick couldn't help but smile wide back and he scolded himself internally as he needed to stop this crush on Charlie Spring. The devishly handsome musician with long curls and the brightest eyes Nick had ever seen. Charlie is -straight- Nick hissed to himself. He's one of those artsy boys that girls love because he's quiet. They think it's mysterious.

"Alright." Said Charlie.

"You play the drums?" Said Nick. "That's cool. So listen uh- me and my mates were talking and. Do you uhm. Do you wanna try outfortherugbyteam" it all came out at once.

"Do I what?" Said Charlie, processing Nick's one syllable question.

"Try out for the rugby team? We have enough players for the team but we cant compete without a reserve."

Charlie smirked and raised his eyebrows.

"A whole school full of boys and I'm the best reserve, Truham has to offer? I dont think I'm the right type" he said with a flourish of his drum sticks.

"Aw come on, we're not your typical team!" Gesturing back to himself. "Loads of different types can play rugby! And I've seen you in PE. You can run really fast!"

"I'll think about it." Charlie said.

"Just come to practice."

As he walked away Charlie watched him go before blinking and realizing he'd kinda been staring. Nick had such a beauty to him that was still unmistakably boyish. Charlie blinked again. Beauty?

It was all a reflex or a quick reaction really, she didn’t WANT to help him when he was getting jumped by all of those kids when they were younger. She didn’t want to stick by him and was forced to play soccer for all of those years, and yet she still did. Something inside of her just told her so, and the feeling she would get whenever she did– felt worth it.

Asami stared out of the window of her classroom as she wiggled her pen in between her fingers, bored out of her mind and just waiting, achingly, patiently for the damn bell to ring any moment.

Watching how the sakura blossoms danced their branches filled with those pink blossoms around along with the breeze as soar around in the sky to fly across the other side of the country, that is until she peeked her eyes around the corner– seeing a small sheet of paper slide under her books.

“Psstttt! Assssaaaammmiiiii!” She looked over her shoulder behind her to see the familiar brown and yellow-haired male she was, fortunately, friends with for the past few years now, seeing him with his usual big grin as he pointed at the small white slip he passed by to her.

Asami raised a brow, giving him a look before grabbing that same slip and opening it. “Heyyy! Can u help me w no.8? idk if the answer is 69 or 457…” With a damn frowny face doodle, he drew on the margins. Typical.

Asami looked back at Bachira who blinked and flapped his eyelashes repeatedly as if he would expect her to just give him the answers, but she didn’t, of course, for obvious reasons she doesn’t want to explain.

She turned around, scribbling back on the sheet as Bachira couldn’t wait for her response, his eyes dazing around the classroom, at the clock above the bald teacher’s head as he taught the class.

It wasn't until she finally gave back the note that his smile grew wider, eagerly taking it as it was placed on the edge of his desk.

“Do it yourself. I’m not telling you. And we’re in English, idiot.” She wrote back, seeing how her handwriting was all neat and fancy and coherently telling him to go do his work without any help needed, it made him pout, frowning as he slumped on his desk with the unfinished worksheet beneath.

Asami thought she got rid of him. For now, at least she would get SOME time for herself where she could just finish the last few questions she still had left. Come on, think. What word fills in the blank to make it sound grammatically correct? A? B? C–?

“Asssaaammmiiiiii!...” She turned her head around to see Bachira pointing at the same paper he left on her desk and the one they had written before, her eyes narrowing at the male as she grabbed the item and opened it with an annoyed huff. 

“why r u so mean to me?!! is it B or A?” Sometimes she just wishes he would leave her alone. Kinda. Not really. Her eyes scrolled down the page, clicking her tongue while thinking of what to write next before seeing something else he had written in that same yellow pen.

“PS: wanna hang out later? at that one cafe? :D it could be a date! ♡” All written in hearts and smiley faces.

Oh, how she wishes she could just strangle him. Though she couldn’t help but admit that it was cute, THIS is cute. The way he kept pushing her as he looked at her with pleading eyes, or how he would sometimes bluntly drag her to places he would like to spend time with her in.

Asami stared at the comment below as she held the paper tighter the more time she looked at it, her eyes were heavily fixated on the words until she felt like she couldn’t read them anymore as she pressed her lips into a thin line and reached over to her pen to write back.

Asami bit her tongue inside of her mouth as she leaned slightly over to write on the small sheet of paper, staring at the words for a brief moment before passing it over to the giddy male behind her.

Bachira practically bounced in his seat as he waited for her to finish, drawing small doodles on the side of his exam paper– with little dolphins swimming to smiley faces and random shapes he did not know the name of some. He glanced up at her with that same smile, his eyes boring at the back of her head as he stared and examined every purple strand of hair she had, even though he was not facing her– he found himself growing pink.

Just from the thought of the both of them being this close as friends. That maybe, JUST MAYBE, he could have a shot of getting with. 

Bachira turned his head around to admire the scenery of the outside view of the school, it was the same view as Asami as they sat vertically from each other; his mind was lost with thoughts as he was suddenly jolted by a foot nudging the leg of his desk.

His yellow eyes perked up to see her glance at him and then the folded paper next to him, the smile returning. “It’s B.”

He giggled, glancing at her and then at his paper where he aggressively scribbled out A as his answer and replaced it with B instead.

He always relied on her on things like this, even if this was just a quick thing. He would be grateful. Bachira’s smile grew wider, leaning back away from his desk as he bent his back with the backrest of the wooden chair and raised his arms high.

He stretched, unstiffening his joints as he went back to the small paper in front of him while wearing that same smile plastered on his lips.

Asami swallowed a thick gulp of saliva, a small bulge forming in the column of her neck as she forced it down her throat as she turned back to her quiz. Only 1 question left, and it was just a simple true or false question.

“This is the last time, I promise!...” She heard him mutter behind him, she glanced, seeing him pass over the paper to her once more as she saw the grin he had on his lips.

“No! Let me finish my work.” She would mutter back in annoyance, turning around. Unfortunately, Bachira wouldn’t back down. From the way he was constantly calling her name or poking her back with the eraser part of his pen– he wouldn’t stop until she got his present.

With a swift movement, she turned around and snatched it away from him. “Fine, but if we get caught, I’m killing you.”

A clear threat indeed. Asami leaned back against the wooden board of her chair, taking a deep breath as she opened it, the sound of the rustling paper echoing through the silent classroom.

Opening the simple folded piece of paper, “tyy!! ♡” That was all he wrote? Really?

“i love u! ♡♡♡” –

Just before she could even get to the last bit of the short page, her time was cut thin as she flinched from seeing the paper get snatched away from her in just a short period, blinking as she saw her teacher standing in front of her desk with a stern expression on his old face. Busted.

The bell eventually rang, and students rushed out of their seats to finally head to lunch or clubs. Asami followed along the crowd with her bag slung over her shoulder as she had a sour expression on her face, bad timing for Bachira as he eagerly rushed forward to chase her– wanting to walk with her to lunch like always.

“Sooo… is that a yes for that date? I didn’t get a reply y’knowww~!!!”

“Just shut up,” Asami replied with a scoff, clearly annoyed at him.

But for what? It’s not like he did anything wrong, but her pride wouldn’t allow it. Until she felt it slipping a bit as they both walked through the halls. “Is that sarcasm or are you like??”

“It’s a yes, idiot.”

i think the reason why drago is unpleasantly surprised (at least, in the leaks translations) is because the ubers hasn't still reached its "breaking point", currently they still believe snuffy's plans will make them win. in this chapter (227) they essentially went from under snuffy's thumb to barou's lmao. but if barou fails this goal - and the flashback of snuffy and his bff who essentially said the same thing as barou gave me a very bad feeling about it - ubers will rebel

You make a good point in your linked post - we have limited intel about who scored those Ubers goals in the PXG match, other than it not being Barou.

I agree Aiku and Aryu can't have scored - like Otoya and Isagi, Aiku may have provided one or more assists to the Ubers scorer(s). That, or he managed to prevent a PXG goal attempt.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lorenzo managed to score in the PXG match. He seems like a player that's capable of playing offensively, but he's too busy marking Kaiser in the BM match.

That said, I love the idea of Snuffy benching the team's striker/forwards who scored against PXG for the sake of showcasing Barou to the world. It'd be cool to see what they're like... but there's such a large cast of characters already, I'm not sure when we might see that happen.

On the fly theory: maybe Snuffy's regret over his dead friend (who Barou freakishly resembles, according to chp 227) is blinkering him, and he is fixated on "helping" Barou, in a way he couldn't help his friend. To the detriment of the Italian players he's supposed to have stewardship over. (god I adore Snuffy's character, he's so interesting)

I imagine the permanent members of the European teams were forewarned that they may be benched in favour of the BL players, and told to suck it up. Ego brought the teams and the master strikers to Japan to train up participants and create a spectacle. The whole point is to showcase this new aggressive style of Japanese soccer. The ones remaining on the NEL starting line ups get to boost their profile given BL is a reality TV phenomenon. The ones on the bench just might not care, they're still getting paid and their positions aren't in serious jeopardy.

...but yeah, it's a mystery why Uber's best striker/forwards would be happy to be benched for an asshole Japanese kid. It's a shame as readers we don't get to see the the European players' bids, other than Kaiser and Ness's. But this must be to build suspense for PXG and whatever OP French players there may be (like Chapi).

A detour, since I'm having a do-nothing weekend: I did a sweep over the manga chapters where Ubers are shown. Like BM, there's only 11 Ubers players visiting Japan.

We don't have names for many of these players: only six are named in the wiki. These are Abdi, Drago, Canali, Lorenzo, Peron and Rico.

In the panels depicting the PXG versus Ubers match, I found one unidentified Ubers player... but he's a goalie?

It doesn't resemble Canali. It can't be Fukaku Gen either, as Gen was listed as a "no value" player following the first round of NEL bidding, suggesting he did not play during the Ubers v PXG match.

It might be Peron. But that's a stretch, since he's playing as a DMF in the BM match.

IDK - anyone else have any ideas?

Ubers bringing over two goalkeepers on an 11-man squad would be odd, but perhaps indicative of Snuffy's desire to find a replacement striker ahead of his retirement.

Kiryu: Ascended singer/back up dancer now a professional fighter. With Nishiki he was part of the Sunflower Boys Club (like Disney micky mouse club ya dig). In his younger he even had a (successful) duo with Nishiki named (idk the name fam but their duo would be a male japanese 80’s duo WINK). But this only created a gap between the two where Kiryu was getting noticed more and contacted by various types of deals (commercials, mc host deal, acting, etc,), the public treated Nishiki like a side dish (the Beyonce treatment).

The deal sealed itself at the death of their company owner Kazama, and closely after when their manager Kashiwagi resigned from its position and the industry as a whole. After a long break and reflection, Kiryu still wanted to reunite the duo and rebrand into something more mature, but Nishiki refused and broke his contract to go his own way. Kiryu did the same in professional fighting where he is at the top of what they have to offer

Nishiki: once known as everyone boyfriend, the lovely Nishiki (play BOYFRIEND – Love Style). Rebranded with his whole name Akira Nishikiyama as a professional racer leaving all his links with kazama’s company behind him. He plays it lowkey and he is actually not bad (more like a silver or bronze type of good but not the top game). Nishiki remained petty and hate any discussions about Kiryu with the media/public especially since Nick Ogata leaked out that a girl was the main reason and the source of the duo’s breakup and Nishiki’s bitterness towards Kiryu Yumi: Actress Kashiwagi: Manager (precisely Nishiki and Kiryu’s), now retired. Haruka: Idol (off course) Majima: MC and variety show host and part-time fighter. Actually, most of his wealth comes from owing stuff (most people don’t know the depth of what he owns). His occasional fights with Kiryu gets the most ratings. We can even catch him on baking competitions and dancing with the stars and the local drag race, yah majima the funky ‘’businessman’’ Saejima: MMA Fighter. Akiyama: Funky & Rich golf player. Tachibana: Real estate owner. Jun Oda: Tachibana’s bodyguard Daigo: rookie but hella successful news presenter Mine: Lawyer attached to famous cases especially defending the guilty. The dude the girlies are simping for on Tik Tok. Shinida: Baseball player.

Nishida: Cameraman or TV crew member Majima keeps calling his assistant. Ryuji: grown Disney kid who ascended to legit model-hood but loves to puts his nose in everything. Rumors says he spent time in jail. Somehow has hella cash and people on social media likes him. His rants get millions of view, He always beefing with someone on Twitter and in real life (guilty or not). Aside from his antics, he has his hand in ownership of many brands and large businesses mostly coming from his father’s heritage and shady business practices. i do love that episode!!! I think it was one of the first bob's burgers episodes i ever remember watching which means it also has a weird nostalgia factor for me lol

i love bob/gene focused episodes and i love episodes where the kids wear their raincoats (idk i just think they're cute :3) and the tina/louise subplot is also really cute and funny with so many great character interactions that feel so Real. it's like comforting in a way? my favorite bobs burgers episodes tend to feel small like they're very isolated in a good way (the spider house rules and cheaty cheaty bang bang are other good examples) it's just like. this family hanging out with each other for twenty minutes and thats it. peak cinema

every bob and gene interaction in this episode is gold and i love how they get a happy ending!!! gene saved all the mushrooms using his weird naming method and got them back to the car using his melted cheese fingers and bob is so happy its just so NICE to see him get a win (when bob was already so happy w/ his one half of a mushroom). the dialogue between gene and bob feels so sweet and natural, like them talking about surviving the apocolypse together and bob saying mushroom hunting is like apocolypse training. "maybe no apocolypse jerky." they're just so happy to spend time together its such a wholesome episode!!!

it's definitely one of my favorites but there are probably four or five other episodes that are tied for first place so its hard to say 100% bcuz they're all very different episodes. the hurt soccer is another one i absolutely love. its so STUPID <3

The List of Glee Character and What Starter Pokemon They Would Have I Kind of Referenced in So Did You Hear About Team Star? (that are also canon to that fic)

Rachel Berry + Popplio : I mean that's kind of the obvious one, right? The sparkling aria? I mean all the Glee kids sing but Rachel is the main character

Finn + Pikachu : He's the everyman all American boy next door and it's Pikachu. Perfect pair.

Quinn + Eevee : The counterpart to the Pikachu, cute and seemingly unassuming but holds hidden potential.

Kurt + Fennekin : Like Eevee, Fennekin is also cute, I just think Kurt belongs with an adorable fluffly little fox that will eventually be able to Psyshock everything in sight.

Mercedes + Oshawott : Really between this one and Piplup, but Samurott has that cool Hisuian Regional form so... Another water type to like, foil Rachel, but more of a cool vibe, and with more obvious fight to it. More masculine, so it could have gone to a boy, but Oshawott and Dewott are really cute also and would look good battling beside Mercedes...

Artie + Rowlet : Hmm something about the sneaky, quiet unassuming presence of the simple owl that becomes a ghostly archer really does it for this pairing. I'm not the biggest Artie fan, but I think if I was, that's what I'd want to highlight, the sleeper talents.

Tina + Grookey : I'd choose Toxel if that was a starter. Tina can have Grookey and Toxel. Get the whole band together Grookey is a cute little drummer that goes hard, especially as Rillaboom, and despite the shy exterior, so does Tina.

Puck + Totodile : Totodile is cool, he's an active little croc and he's pure power and I think Puck would appreciate that when choosing a starter. Also gives him a chance to be the mature one.

Santana + Charmander : Fire power, lonely little lizard, who hits so hard it'll make you ignore it's obvious vulnerabilities. I think they'd lay on the beach together and Santana would hold a parasol above it, just in case it ever rained

Brittany + Chikorita : Sweet, simple, but is one of the best when it comes to taking a hit. The punches just roll right off that one.

Mike + Quaxly : Apart from the obvious, that y'know. It dances, it's flashy in all the right ways and I think Mike would help him with his perfectly coiffed hair (I might be a little biased by Shadowhunters here) ...and yes, the latter point does also make me want to give it to Blaine as well. But... Well, it does dance.

Sam + Froakie : because um. because it's a frog. Also Sam is a nerd and would be so hype over getting a ninja pokemon are you kidding me? Also also, if you're a Samcedes fan... A Samurai and a Ninja, like, it kind of goes together, y'know. Connecting the dots?

Sugar + Scorbunny : It's a bunny! Adorable! A little hyperactive bunny that plays soccer! She'd go to all it's little pokemon games too I bet

Rory + Sobble : idk he just seems like a sobble guy to me.

Dave + Tepig : David is my baby and he's definitely got one of those fire/fighting starters. I think he's primarily a fighting type trainer, because y'know, gotta keep up that tough guy act. I feel like every time the show defies a gender stereotype it doubles down on like 5 more at the same time

VERY unpopular opinion: sometimes the stalker trope can be funny but I feel like the creators don't do it well which is why everyone shits on Mari for it so hard + they overdo it

I really don't think Mari's shtick is actually making kids think diving into trashcans to spy on your crush is ok to do- everything she does is cringe on purpose so I don't see kids aspiring to be like her in this way

Felix's intricate arc felt so abruptly cut after he became Kagami's boyfriend; I feel like it's a shame Feligami were so rushed bc a slow development of their relationship could've strengthened his character arc even further. I feel like it merced both their characters by having it be so quickly put together. Bc why is Kagami saying she loves him enough to defy her mom already and why are they making out all the time. Like I didn't need that personally

Lots of missed opportunities in general regarding Felix

Kagami telling Felix Marinette is Ladybug after 1 ep he got with her like what the hell kind of insane betrayal??? They try to brush off???? Hello????
