(I feel like Hound would sometimes zone out. Makarov would obviously want him ready whenever and for whatever he needs from hound. So as a result hound has conditioned himself to just zone out, he's there and aware of his surroundings but is so used to just waiting for an order. He can, and will sit there for hours.

Since Hound is with 141, he'd not be doing anything, still 'recovering' from his abduction. No task to fulfil, no orders from his superiors. He's free to do what he pleases, as long as it's within confines of the base. However, being so used to never putting his wants first, he unsure of what to do.

So price, being his saving grace, teaches him to enjoy things. TV Shows and Movies, something like bluey, which could do him well. Small things that could give him a bit of object permanence, like a plush toy or Lego set he can build himself, something with instructions but encourages creativity.

With the insurance that its his, that it will never be taken from him. That he's free to be a person and do as he pleases. What do you think?)

1. Since in my tpot 11 ramble I discussed Three on point nr.3 i think its only fair that I talk about One first.

Okay so they went in a completly different direction with one that I thought they would. I thought that she was gonna be a co-host, but honestly? I like the direction they took her character in. We didn't really have a true "villan" in bfdi like. Ever? I think? I mean yeah there are characters that are sadistic, antagonistic, live in your walls and make bad decisions but I don't think we ever had a real villan. A threat. Because you CANNOT. CANNOT tell me that One doesn't have sinister intentions. She's unnerving, and if I learned one thing from the Shrek franchise its that you dont fucking make deals with people that are clearly evil (im talking to you Fanny, Ice cube and possibly anyone else who made a deal) also, she knows a lot more that I think she has the right to. I mean, yeah. She's the stalking type, i get it but she came out of the fucking moon at the END END of tpot 9. (I think?) So thee fact that she knows so much about the contestants is kinda scary. I think the obvious motive for her is uh.. Three. I AM STILL STANDING BY MY POINT THAT THE HAND FROM TPOT 11 IS THREE. I KNOW EVERYONE AGREES ON THIS BUT. I SWEAR.

Point 2, the teams. I will be very honest I did not expect a team swap so soon but then again Just not had exactly three people so I don't think it would be very fair (No teardrop what are you doing here no no no you are not a part of this discussion shoo shoo /aff)

Astrobiology is on a team together (yet) again, were winning. I love them both separately too, esp Black Hole after the recent-kinda-still-ongoing-arc. Tree's sass is something I need.

Pin! One of the "Top 4" of the original season. I love her, she was the first character I humanized, and she is actually acting like herself because early Tpot did her dirty as hell.

Point 2.2 - Team 2/Two

ERASER. I am so sorry you got separated from your boyfriend 💔💔💔 Probably my favorite from the team, his "rivalry" with Bottle might be interesting.... if she doesn't get voted out next. (I think she will) I think his dynamic with Snowball might be interesting since they are already friends. I think. Right?

Book and Taggy! To be honest JnJ are feeding my heart wholesome yuri and I am very happy. Books dynamic with Ice Cube will be fun to explore because uh... yeah. Also Taggy is developing which is great. Before tpot 10 I thought of them as more of a Naily 2.0, so I'm very glad that JnJ did something with them. Thank goodness they didnt get eliminated, I was kinda worried.

Snowball. Big guy. My man. I was hugely neutral about him before TPOT but god he kinda stole my heart. His relationship with grassy is so cute, and I'm begging for some interactions between him and Ice cube.

Grass boi. Thank you for not being annoying as f-ck anymore. I think youre cool. (Though he is the one I would care the least about if he god eliminated.)

Don't know if someone already talked about calendars, but this is the result a very intense ADHD afternoon procrastinating what I had to do in favor of my hyperfixation. YAY!

Different Calendars, Different dates

Similar to our world, in D&D/Forgotten Realms there are many different calendars and depending on which one it’s used, the date will change (obviously).

Without going too into too much details in this specific article, the main problem with Astarion’s headstone is that, for some, dates aren’t coherent and the suspect is Larian messed up the calendars.

The calendars involved and what we need to know

When Larian talks about dates uses a 4 digits number: for example we know that the adventure starts in 1492.

However, on Astarion’s headstone the years display on 3 digits: for example the year he engraves is 498.

For this reason people started asking what is the logic behind “dropping the 1” and wondering if it took 6 years to the party to defeat the Netherbrain. Here it comes "different calendars, different dates". Short answer: no, there's no "dropped 1". Long answer: keep reading! :D

At this point, all we need to know are 2 different calendars:

Dale Reckoning (DR) When this calendars is used, the date is usually followed by “DR”. It’s the most widely used in Faerûn.

Crumbs of History: it starts (1 DR - Year of Sunrise) from the year in which the Standing Stone was raised by the elves of Cormanthyr, as symbol of their alliance with the humans of The Dales (called “Dalesfolk” in general), after the Elven Court allowed them to settle in the open lands around the forest.

North Reckoning (NR) When this calendar is used, the date is usually followed by “NR”. It’s used in Waterdeep.

Crumbs of History: it starts (1 NR) from the year Ahghairon became the first Lord of Waterdeep after killing Rhaulor of Waterdeep, a War Lord, (1032 DR - Year of the Nightmaidens). Rhaulor wanted to found the “Empire of the North” but Ahghairon opposed him since, in his view, “wisdom and not might would govern the city”. This is considered the founding event of Waterdeep as a city.

What’s the deal with this and Astarion’s headstone?

Year 1 NR is 1032 DR This means that between the Year 1 DR and the Year 1 NR, there is a difference of 1032 years.

1492 DR is 460 NR

Following this, the dates on the headstone might be wrong, with the right year from the NR calendar but with the wrong “DR” denomination or viceversa. Let's take a look:

Astarion's Birth Since we aren't sure if the date is 129 or 229, since the symbols for 1 and 2 are very similar and the headstone texture simulates its being old and wore out we will consider both (above the NR calendar, below the DR calendar).

129 NR or 229 NR 1161 DR or 1261 DR

Astarion's Death

268 NR 1300 DR

Astarion's Rebirth

Uncertain: some see 468 NR, some 458, some 460. However, curiously enough, 460 NR = 1492 DR We will consider 460.

If this is all correct:

268 NR - 129 NR = 139 yo (Astarion’s supposed real age when he died) 1300 DR - 1161 DR

or

268 NR - 229 NR = 39 yo 1300 DR - 1261 DR

Years since being turned into a vampire Spawn

460 NR - 268 NR = 192 years as a Spawn (Astarion’s says he was turned “nearly 200 years ago”).

1492 DR - 1300 DR

Total Years passed since Astarion’s birth

460 NR - 129 NR = 331 1492 DR - 1161 DR

CONCLUSIONS

If we consider 129 NR for his birth, Astarion was 139yo when he was turned. A young elf, socially adult also for the Elven culture/society, in his prime, as he himself says. However, until Larian/Stephen Rooney don't confirm it, it remains a supposition! The two different calendars would also answer to the doubts about the year in which Cazador became a Vampire Lord and the year in which he turned Astarion, since at the current time the latter would have happened before the former.

Current supposed dates Cazador becoming a Vampire Lord 1276 DR Astarion becoming a Vampire Spawn (1)268 DR Probably correct dates As stated above, 268 NR is 1300 DR.

but at the same time I'm soo on team Black's side, rhaenyra deserved to be queen, the only reason she didn't get crowned was because of everyone on team green being misogynists (i.e. little bitch boy otto thinking he's all big). I had already made up my mind on this during the history and lore for season 5 of got, its been ingrained in my veins that rhaenyra is the queen since then and reading fire and blood just cemented that till death. so suddenly all the blogs I had been following since got have turned to team green and I've had to suffer slowly unfollowing and blocking each and everyone of them because I want my tumblr to be curated to me.

basically a lot of the team black blogs I find post things that are anti sansa and VERY pro dany (I'm good with saying you enjoy dany but I do think she's a villain in the end and will be so in the books, but again that doesn't mean she IS a bad character, I enjoy her povs in the book and liked her scenes until around season 7, so obviously there is something good about her) and so I don't want that in my feed but then a lot of sansa blogs are team green which I despise.

tldr; just me lamenting that I can't find any blogs that post things I don't vehemently disagree with in either team black or sansa stans blogs. I better stick with tagged posts only

Taobao manufacturers require some basic Chinese knowledge, but it's honestly not that bad. May set up a phrases masterpost in the future.

Use at your own risk because your experience might not be the same as mine. But this is what I've personally experienced!

[R] - Recommended. However, try at your own risk. Caveats will be mentioned

[NR] - Meh. Usable but probably not recommended

STICKERS/PRINTING

[R] Danlim - Self-service again. Less self-prep needed, the people there will give you feedback if they think your alignment is messed up (very helpful!). Supports self-collection or delivery (but delivery is on the expensive end). Supports holo which is very nice. Low MOQ.

[NR] walyadfx.sg - (SEE UPDATE) Shopee manufacturer. Only tried them for transfer stickers. Self setup on an A5/A4/A3 sheet, but since they're transfer stickers there's no cutlines needed. Affordable and low-ish MOQ (if A5 sheets count as such lol) Came pretty fast and the quality was decent

UPDATE: Their printing is much duller on vibrant colors, but the transfers stick smoothly without finicky air bubble shenanigans! Smaller designs may be blurrier, too. Only use for simple designs.

[R] shuijingbiao - Transfer sticker manu. REALLY good quality, super vibrant colours! Blues and purples print well which is a huge shocker. Smooth and not blurry, even for text at smaller sizes. However, these are a bit more finicky to apply, and there may be air bubbles. A total bitch to scrape off too (which is probably a good thing). Make sure to order extras.

[NR] Gogoprint - Self-service is neat. However, you need to prep the files yourself, and a lot can go wrong. Some stuff to take note of is the correct PDF format (PDF X-1A), and making sure your strokes don't turn into vectors (there are some cases where this happens). High MOQ. Otherwise, more crisp than Vograce.

[NR] Vograce - Shipping isn't worth it. Printing is a little duller.

ACRYLIC CHARMS

[R] Juno Creative (Taobao) - Also on Alibaba at a slight markup. Good, affordable, better quality than Vograce. Hot stamped colors are gold/silver/red/green/blue/light blue/purple/pink. Please note that if you're doing hot stamping, DO EPOXY. The foil is not stable and will peel off otherwise. One-sided hot stamping otherwise. Use Weiyun to send larger files to them

[R] Bemick/Wenzhou Yadian (Alibaba) - My go-to for hot stamping. Supports single or double sided. Offer gold/silver/red/green/blue. Printing is generally better quality than both Juno and Vograce, but double sided prints "hover" slightly if that bothers you. Hot stamp is more iridescent than metallic. I like it though. Low MOQ but costly at lower MOQs.

[NR] Vograce - Still has the dull printing problem. Gross markup

PLUSHIES

[R] Gaopeng Toys (Alibaba) - Hesitant recommendation. They are the safe and commonly used option and have a low MOQ (as low as 1), but obviously low is expensive. Up to 3 changes allowed per sample, otherwise you pay the cost again. They handled the engineering of my complex sample pretty well. However, they have a tendency of using craft glue instead of something like a ladder stitch, which may be invisible or awful-looking depending on your product.

Have not mass produced with them yet. Treat as a cheap plush commission (assuming your local indie artist isn't open for comms).

[NR] Vograce (Manjuu) - They're probably middlemanning. They actually fucked up and sent my sample with its back upside down (yikes). Printing is dull (a common Vograce problem). Not sure who they're middlemanning for, but likely Doujin Studio (haven't tried) is my guess.

COINS

[R] Jinyin (Taobao) - Hesitant recommendation. WeChat needed for communication. Printing quality is nice, and they give advice to make your design read better. But the rep flipped out at me because I had an unusual shipping address (Taobao's warehouse).

[NR] Wenzhou Jinshi (Taobao) - WeChat needed for communication. Printing quality worse than Jinyin. Rep flipped out at me for sending the Chinese equivalent of Google Drive (Weiyun). Generally rude aside from that, no feedback given, and they get a lot of customers, so you're not important.

Everyone hyping Melissa’s return and hoping for good Caryl stories is right to do so. Some may not think so, but I’m still holding out hope (I wouldn’t have any at all if Melissa’s EP title didn’t carry any weight). That being said, everyone who’s pointing out the issues with the title, other story elements, or the things being said in interviews are right to do so too. I wish it boiled down to one’s own outlook, positivity or negativity, but it doesn’t (I hate that dichotomy). It’s not on any of the fans. Yes, there are those who cross boundaries, who harass and threaten, and that’s not okay. Criticism in general though? Not only is it okay, it’s the only chance there is to change things. You seem to think Melissa/Carol will never be treated equally. Personally, I think it is possible 🤷🏻‍♀️ AMC needs to understand what the target audience wants, they need to know their revenue depends on how well they deliver what the target audience wants, and they need to hire a showrunner with the authority and the insight into the target audience to actually deliver what they want. How can we help ensure that? Talking about it. You don’t like that Carol’s name is only a subtitle? Say so. Don’t like the shipbaiting? Caryl’s ambiguity? Retcons? The gaslighting in the media? Say so. Or, if you just want to focus on what you’re looking forward to, do that. That’s my long-winded way of saying, yes, you’re allowed to have an opinion and you’re allowed to voice it respectfully provided you also respect the opinions of others who disagree ❤️

second is shallower but 40s fashion and the aesthetics are so fascinating to me idk much about that time period (yet) but 40s paris especially looks to be a fascinating setting hehe

and speaking of paris. its loumand hours w/o pause the second the season drops for me personally im not ready for more of them bc it would fix me. noir anti hero and heroine......in MY eyes. more moments of bad lying and flirting only made interesting by how purposefully lopsided the way it sticks the landing is and louis waiting in vain for his cigarette to be lit oh you know and the tension between claudia and louis that's bound to build as he starts spending more time w armand....the inevitability of a separation.....they're probably not going to show us when he decided he needed him for good but the how of it all will tie me up.

lastly the framing !!! from what we've seen in the teaser its armand's narration as well.....with one mask off will he let daniel read her journals still. what role will editorialization play now armand who disapproved of this entire project in the first place is in fact participating. new and blunt languages of repression and sublimated desire >:)

Okay. nr 1 rule. Don't make your character a predator or abuser like "just because". Don't portray their "alters" as something scary and uncontrollable.

Not in a like "don't let them be rude EVER!!!1!1!11" way but like. If they're gonna be mean or rude or awful at least portray them rationally 😭😭😭 like make it clear they're doing so bc it was either deserved or bc they're doing it as a coping mechanism

Other than that. I don't have any specific things to say bc it's genuinely not that hard to mess up, everyone just keeps on portraying DID like something extremely scary bc obviously I'm gonna viciously murder you bc my parents were shit to me as a kid /s /s /s

[ Example: Enemie corner's them, out of safety they look into the enemie's mind, find thoughts about an old dead lover, BAM! Perfect food for mindfuckery, take the form [or illusion] of say'd lover ]

[ There is a downpart tho, Nr 1, the eye's don't change, which some enemie's are smart enough to tell in an emotional moment. Nr 2 Lomando doesn't learn anything about say'd person they take the shape of, they could figure it out, but that takes a LONG time, meaning they kinda have to freeball the whole act, which sometimes goes bad and the enemie can tell that its not rlly their close one. But if it goes well, they can strike a pretty nasty attack on the enemie! ]

So, I’ve reached the point in Mortal Kombat 1 story mode where they reveal some pretty interesting stuff that’s got me thinking. Obviously, I’ll be mentioning spoilers here so watch out.

Apparently Liu Kang’s victory is not the only one whose victory in Aftermath was canonical. It’s revealed that the timeline split into a version where Liu Kang won and one where Shang Tsung won, and Shang Tsung created his own New Era complete with Dark Raiden and other evil versions of kharacters.

But then! It’s also revealed that everyone’s victory was its own separate timeline in which they became Time Titans and crafted their own new universes. It only shows a few of the others from MK11 joining Liu Kang to fight the old Shang Tsung, but theoretically, there should be a new timeline headed by each fighter in MK11. The base game had 25 kombatants, but there were also 12 more DLCs that may have also had their own timelines.

Which makes me wonder if there’s, like, a timeline created by, frickin’, the Joker or Jason Voorheese. Imagine an MK universe shaped by Spawn, the Terminator, or Rambo.

And, obviously, you have interesting possibilities with the other actual MK fighters like D’Vorah (bug universe!), Nightwolf (no manifest destiny!), or Erron Black (way more manifest destiny!). The possibilities for NRS to exploit this for more games is vast, but the fanfic ideas are nigh endless, tbh.
