sure thing!!! i LOOOOVED this episode so i can yap for a bit

ok so first off the visual style in this episode was AMAZING! like obviously this is a great episode to use creative liberties because of its nature but there's a lot of cool stuff here. my favorites out that i really like such as how they chose to execute the glitch effects, and how seamless the melding between worlds turned out. I found the edit of the intro to be a really nice touch and I also found the animation during the Firey Comics scenes to be really impressive in terms of how well they nailed the old style, handwriting, and textures while still using 2D animation. I also really want to compliment Jacksfilms as the standout guest of all of the guest voice actors in BFDIA 17 and TPOT 14.. A Lot of them just really did their gimmicky voice or the voice they'd be known most by but Jacksfilms really took this opportunity to do this really neat character voice for the VR Headset that I actually didn't recognize him at first even though I watch him daily. I loved the gamer gimmick and that cute little acapella cover of the mario bros game over that kind of gave away that it was jacksfilms when he gets kicked away. i just find it so endearing as a whole. While I'm on the topic of voice acting I genuinely think that Satomi was the standout voice actor of this ep in terms of the regular VAs, This is Black Hole's most expressive episode to date and I think that the fact that he still has that monotone cadence while having such panicked intonation is reallly impressive (Satomi is the most underrated BFDI VA i will fight someone on this) Now for juicy character stuff :) TV was my standout fave in this ep, and yes, that is my mechminds bias speaking. I i genuinely really really loveed how he was this silly little cheerleader timeline thing for the majority of the epsiode and i love how recently they've brought back how he just genuinely enjoys Being A Screen sometimes. my personal reccomendation is to go frame by frame (when on desktop you can use these < > keys to do that on a yt vid if you didnt knoe!!!) on the scene where TV is loading the timeline visualizer, it tells a really silly story of him pirating flash and then getting frustrated about graphic design. this also made me realize that i think black hole just speaks to mechanical minds and has a general rapport with all four of them. this used to be a hc of mine but i guess its kind of established now? Honestly a lot of my TV headcanons got canonized in this ep im so happy i loove tv so much i love tv i love tv . I really wouldn't say this episode has a "standout team" for me, i pretty much loved everything. I like what team2 has going for it, DPYA is the best family ever, 🎵🎵🎵is easily my favorite team of tpot 10+... I definitely have a love-hate relationship with CloudYay bc I like some of its internal dynamics but hate other ones and Pencil doesnt help (im a bit of a pencil hater but thats only bc shes written to be hateable i think shes well written) but i really just in general think that a complete full cloudyay team resolution has to happen within the next two episodes or it'll start feeling too agonizing for me. but thats deff personal preference .

speaking of "hateable but not because they suck but because they're written to be the kind of guy you hate", ONE bro. i think i am becoming a One Hater like dont get me wrong shes like this pretty evil witch and im totally down for her vibe but the way she manipulates people gets under my skin in a way i cant help but feel mad about because i've definitely always been more compassionate toward the objectian contestants. the fact that she caused a domino effect that would rip apart the fabric of the universe just to get gaty to sign a contract is so fucking brutal and wild and it makes me scared of the kind of things she'd do if actually threatened and the fact that the rift didnt close entirely is #scary! so uhh yeah cant finish off this post without mentioning that ORIGINAL IN-EPISODE ANIMATION OF ALL THE BEEPERS HAS DROPPED I AM FED .. this is the closest woody has been to roboty onscreen since bfb 1, and this cute little bg shot of them is really adorable tooo. lets jsut say im Happy :) let's hope we get official confirmation of where david ended up, or perhaps more roboty screentime, or maybe some content of the postsplitters that involves balloony and woody or maaybe even some eliminated contestant footage with rocky and cloudy. But as you can see, i take what i can get when it comes to my beautiful boys and we must simply all hope for the best beepfans

Akane’s pokemon

Team1:

Based off the VOID household.

Jigglypuff - Iroha: Iroha generally collects cute pokemon no matter what typing ect they are. If she finds them adorable, she’ll catch it. Although Jigglypuff was a bit of hassle for her to figure out how to get around. Every time it sang she fell asleep and it would draw on her face. She didn’t like that very much.

Vivillon - Emma: Being associated with beauty and fashion, she wanted a pokemon that could stand out in pokemon contests. While Vivillon could, the other trainers were able to decorate their pokemon far easier. Vivillons wings were too beautiful to risk harming for some silly fashion show so she handed Vivillon over to Akane.

Gurdurr - Hajime: One of the first pokemon Hajime ever caught! Back then though it was just a Timburr. He was infatuated with how the pokemon lifted the wood it always carried so easily. After awhile of talking with the pokemon it agreed to help him train his muscles up to get stronger. Eventually evolving with Hajime as he grew stronger, the only issue is he began realizing he was going places where the pokemon had trouble keeping up with him. He entrusted it to Akane after a long talk with it to what it wanted to do. It wears a belt like Hajime’s in reminiscence of him.

Emolga - Nikei: Emolga had never officially been ‘caught’ by anyone in the family. While Nikei was out trying to look for the next place for a scoop, this Emolga had swooped in and landed on the table out of the blue. It seemed to be interested in what he was doing for some reason. After Nikei tried to dismiss it and move away from it, Emolga had began following Nikei around. After Nikei tried to ignore it though it sent out a shock to him from a small rage. Nikei reluctantly kept it around since. After awhile of bonding Emolga ended up in Akane’s care as she provided more attention to it then Nikei had.

Inkay - Mikado: Mikado had stumbled onto someones lab facility, witnessing a very ill looking Inkay in a tank. Normally they are out in the ocean or with their trainers whenever possible, this one was a very faded blue compared to its normal body shade. The lights on its head barely even dimming with the room’s lights beaming down onto it. He couldn’t just... leave it there. He tossed a pokeball into the tank hoping the pokemon would catch onto the fact he was trying to help it. It did and he left the lab without the researcher noticing he even took something. He was too afraid and didn’t know how to help it though so he handed the pokeball over to Akane to keep.

Solrock - Utsuro: While never officially being owned by Utsuro; he has a non-shiny Solrock that he had caught the first time the two of them ever traversed a cave together. The two of them decided to return to the cave after so long to see if the state of the pokemon had gotten better since the first time they had visited. Two shiny pokemon had approached the duo an basically ran into them. For Akane, a shiny Solrock with a shiny Lunatone for the counterpart, running into Utsuro.

Team2:

Espeon: Predictability of the enemies movements is something that Akane would need to help her prepare how to act properly. Reading the body movement of an Espeon could help sharpen her own senses. Both Akane and Espeon hold Loyalty as a trait they find important to them. If Espeon is capable of reading Akane will not be safe in a specific area, it’s able to protect her with its psychic powers to move her out of harms way.

Banette: Having been filled with hatred from being thrown away and abandoned by it’s original holder back when it was still a doll, wondering around the land searching for it’s owner... Akane who has also been lost for a long time, came across it in one of the alleyways. It having originally attempted to attack her, saw how fragile she was and stopped it’s attack. She was like the child before it abandoned it... It clung to her with a big hug and began to cry out. Akane having been scared at the time wasn’t sure what to do but she hugged it back and began comforting the pokemon.

Spinda: No two Spinda are ever the same, their spots are always in different places spread throughout their bodies. This pokemon also moves as if it’s always dizzy, using it’s movement to confuse it’s opponents. Despite the dizzying-appearing walk, Spinda seems to believe it walks perfectly straight. Akane found Spinda away from it’s habitat as if it were left out by the others, perhaps outcast for the fact this Spinda seems to have no spots at all. Akane approached the small Spinda and offered it something to eat. After feeding it, Akane went to go on her way when suddenly it attached to her leg. It didn’t seem to know where it was but it wanted to go with Akane and it knew that. She took it in and painted fake-spots on it for it to feel more normal, occasionally allowing Iroha to give them different color/shapes of spots.

Mimikyu: Often hiding it’s true form from people, it disguises itself to look like other pokemon to try and fill it’s loneliness and get along with others. Hiding underneath, it’s difficult to tell what it’s true form looks like. No one had lived long enough to tell the tale. Those who see underneath end up dying from fear or a mysterious disease that falls over them. Mimikyu often prefers to pretend to be pokemon that everyone loves, a Pikachu. Working tirelessly through the night to try and fix it’s cloth from the tears and rips it’s experienced... Akane had been walking to get some time to clear her mind when she heard the weeping sounds of a Mimikyu. She tried to talk with it but was only met with a blanket being thrown into her face. The Mimikyu quickly covered itself with a bag before she could remove the blanket. Talking with it a bit she had seen the issue of it’s cloth being messed up, so she wrapped the Mimikyu up in the blanket and brought it home with her where she fixed the cloth to be brand new and sturdier.

Stufful: Despite it’s small size and cute fur pattern, Stufful are surprisingly strong. If you are careless around one it might break your hand with one swipe of it’s paw. Typically this pokemon hates being touched by people and can thrash, squirm and resist with all it’s power. It will try and flail it’s arms to try and thwart off foe’s, unfortunately due to it’s cuteness not many trainers listen. One day Akane had found a lonesome Stufful trying to climb a tree to get berries but noticed it kept falling right back down. She went over to help it, taking the berry off the three and crouched down, rolling it over to the Stufful. At first it stared at her before quickly digging in. She picked more berries off the tree and began using them to lead the Stufful around to try and find it’s family. There were no signs of any other Stufful or Bewear around and it had started to cry. Leading Akane to feed it another berry as she sat down on the ground, waiting for the Stufful to decide what to do next. Before she knew it, it came up to her and laid itself in her lap. It chose her as it’s trainer.

Lunatone: A mysterious pokemon said to be from space itself. At the start of their journey, Akane and Utsuro had to go through a cave to get to the professors lab and they had heard mysterious cries coming from the darkness echoing like water was trying to muffle it. The two decided to investigate despite the twists and turns the cave was taking them through. They had eventually come across a large grouping of Lunatone and Solrocks. The pokemon had been trapped under rubble and looked very weak as those who were letting out the cries could barely float. The two of them decided to stay and try and help out the pokemon, moving rocks left and right to free various other Lunatone/Solrocks. As they got near the end, a set of each were very ill and broken from the rockfall that had tumbled over them. Being barely able to open their eyes, Akane suggested they try and catch them to take them to the pokemon center on the way to the professor to try and preserve their life while they can. Doing so, Akane had caught the Lunatone as her starter.

since last anon talked abt their ship name + s/i (tho for me they're moreso a sona) is it alr if I do same ?

my objectsona is a pan flag coloured bow with a star in the middle (hence the sign off lol also if anyone knows who i am from that no you dont shush/hj) they also do use same pronouns as me but I mostly just use they/them for them

anyway tho the ship name is therefore Frosted Ribbon unless I can come up with anything better

basically their story is not all that fleshed out yet rlly but essentially

they're a big fan of BFDI & object shows just like me & of course Icys biggest fan (would get along very well with Bracelety) & during BFB/TPOT are just kinda spectating in the background (like a recommended character) until like TPOT 10 or 12 where Two allows them to join for whatever reason on Icys team of course (my excuse being Team2 having one less members than the others but with Star Bow it'd now be equal)

thinking maybe they get with Icy during BFB (when there's no competition/challenges going on) & their relationship developed from there

I've also come up with this scenario where Star Bow encounters One & is thrown into a deal with her

the deal is something like

so Star Bow is always worried abt Icy & wants to protect her & keep her safe (especially since she dies so hecking often) so One says she'll help with that by offering Star Bow a small piece of their power

they accept but since we know One is def not trustworthy & she seems to want Twos power- yeah it likely won't end well

one last thing, Icy & Star Bow sorta have nicknames for eachother too

Star Bow has Icy & wifey for Ice Cube (maybe more but I can't think of any)

Icy has Star, Starry & Starbi for Star Bow (I know Starbi doesn't rlly make sense but it sounds cute ok-)

Peak Time Ep. 9/11

Excuse me! League A’s songs are catchy and fun to listen to so what happened with B?!

Circuit is exciting with powerful choreography (made me wish Ateez was performing 🔥) but I think Team2 lost their energy or maybe their busy schedule in Japan affected their performance. Their expressions looked unfocused & tired. I think the judges gave biased sympathy votes :/

I wish MONT didn't dance for this one. Simple moves by the duo without the backup dancers would have been more effective and sentimental. I like their song and it got a similar vibe to 8282 by Davichi.

Team24 got the wrong genre cuz sexy seductive whateva is getting old for them. Also, not a fan of the song itself.

VaANNeR finally got back into the competition! Skyscraper fits them perfectly and all members had strong presence & delivered beautiful vocals. They are no longer just Taehwan & Hyesung team. Very happy to see them get all pick because they really deserve to win this round.

Again.. the dance ruined Team7’s performance. & why this song doesn’t have much lyrics? xD
