In like a month or so I'm gonna have to go back to school, so my "goal" for this year is to have a complete and organized folder, since last year not having it like that fucked me over multiple times. And also to not have to worry about the teachers checking folders

“We Are One True Pairing” Venom Yugi x Reader
Summary: Spider-Man AU, you’re saved by an unlikely vigilante who doesn’t start out a hero. You help Venom Yugi become a better person by helping him realize he has so much more potential. Teaching him revenge won’t solve his problems and how he has those who care for him. You two unexpectedly fall in love.
Warning: Eventual sexual themes not suited for minors. Ages 18+ please! Depictions of violence and huge trigger warning for enemies trying to force themselves on you. Nothing happens because Yugi is there to save you but I still wanted to give a warning.

You're on your way to school this fine sunny morning. The walk is very long for you unfortunately. You live on the bad side of town with very low income to your name. You live in a one bedroom apartment with the whole place seemingly broken and dirty. Despite your circumstances you have a positive outlook on life. Your life is hard but you do what you can to make a better life for yourself. College isn't easy with all the walking and studying you must do but you feel grateful to be able to get a further education. Working part time at a factory isn't the easiest job but you manage. The factory is a chocolate candy bar company. As much as you don't like the job it pays the bills. Late night shifts are the worst unfortunately.
Your night was very long but you don't mind it since you're used to working late then heading to school the next morning. You yawn tiredly hoping you won't fall asleep during class. While in down town you notice the newspaper company's advertisement screen on their building. It was John Jonah Jameson announcing his opinions about the web shooting hero, spider-man. You never paid it any mind since spider-man is a hero. You paused for a moment hearing him announce an apology. You notice they're spideys new and old look. For a while he was rocking a black suit but lately he changed out of the black costume in favor of his original blue and red costume.
"In today's news the menace spider-man wasn't the culprit to last weeks robberies. Apparently there is a new menace out there by the name of venom."
You weren't expecting such a gruesome sight. The video shown was a smaller demonic looking form of spider-man! He has large sharp teeth and a huge tongue. It was creepy looking! You have shivers down your spine witnessing it biting at the security guards in the video. Its body looks as though it is oozing some sort of black slime from head to toe. You're not sure what to think of it. Looking at your plain wrist watch you run to class since you've wasted enough time watching. Class would be boring but you wrote down your notes with ease.
Much further in the city of Domino was a lot more the press failed to cover in their morning broadcasts about venom. He is located by a construction site where he sat in a nearby alley. The mysterious young man wasn't in his costume. He sat on a cardboard box reading the newspaper. He smiled at all the attention he received from his theft the past week. He found it funny how his despised rival was blamed.
"Spider-man is lucky I'm looking for trouble. He doesn't realize I want this town to know our name." The mans deep voice was mixed with a demonic sounding vocal.
He looked to his shoulder where a weird entity appearing similar to his own appearance sat on his upper back. It had his same spiky hair and face shape but its body was a black slime. It's eyes are white while its bangs stuck out in several directions as his masters did. It's body is tiny only having upper arms with no legs. It's true form is an unknown alien species but to his master, Yugi this being is his lifesaver. They formed a bond so neither would perish. The being wouldn't survive without its master meanwhile Yugi's injuries would've caused him to bleed out to death. The bond they agreed to would be one that would last a lifetime. The being only agreed to heal Yugi if he formed the bond with it. Yugi seeing this as an opportunity for revenge decided it would be the best decision of his life. They shook hands sealing the deal. Using its healing factor it saved Yugi's life.
"Revenge..?" The slime being on his shoulder hissed excitedly.
"Yes we'll be getting our revenge on that bastard Atem. He was the one that did this to us."
"Yes Yugi. We will get revenge!" It smiled wickedly.
🖤🖤🖤
You had a huge amount of work to do today the moment you arrived home. You only managed to get five hours of sleep before arriving to the factory. You sighed smelling the same chocolate scent you've grown tired of. The candy bar factory truly did offer you an awful eight hours of your life. Your hair is in a messy bun and hair net. The uniform consists of an apron, white pants, and a pink/purple color scheme for the top. You sigh tiredly heading toward your work station. You didn't notice the lack of employees until you finally reached your work area. You also notice one of the ceiling lights is broken.
"Where is everyone?"
You're startled from the loud screech echoing through out the building. Looking around the area you hear boxes getting thrown and walls getting crushed. Curious you sneak around the equipment to investigate. You hear webs shooting at a pile of boxes. You lightly gasp looking over to the two men fighting. It's spider-man! The other man is the male known as Venom. He is twice as scary in person. He looks dangerous and you found his voice very creepy.
"Spider-man is this really how you want it to end? Me destroying you in a chocolate factory?"
You cringe as his huge mouth ate a pile of candy bars. It's long tongue licking its lips.
"Yugi I won't stand by while you hurt the innocent!"
"My name isn't Yugi anymore! We are Venom!! I'll kill anyone that's in my way! I'm only after you!"
"Why Yugi!?"
"Revenge!!" Yugi yelled while throwing a forklift at spider-man.
Spidey dodged then jumped onto the wall where he began climbing. Venom laughed as he continued throwing different heavy equipment at the hero. The wall crawling hero was able to dodge several attacks but he still got injured. Heavy punches to the face were given to the skinny hero. You flinch witnessing all the harsh hits given to him. When spidey is on the ground Venom lifts his weak body off the ground by the neck. You cover your mouth with a hand as Venom opened his huge mouth wide open.
"W-why Yugi..?" Spideys deep voice said with pain.
"You ruined my life!! I lost my job, my car, my home, and my girlfriend! It's all because of you."
"You did that to yourself! If you hadn't given the bugle false stories about me then none of this would've happened to you. Your girlfriend liked you for your money. Yugi none of this is like you at all!"
"Of course not. How many times do I have to tell you? I'm Venom now! Yugi is dead now. Then again that name has always been dead to you hasn't it?"
"Yugi please understand I didn't mean what I said! I apologize! It was the symbiote! That suit changed me! It will change you too. It's not too late you can have your life back!"
"Oh but it is. Too sorry too late. Your apology means nothing to me."
The ooze pulled back revealing the mans face. You gasp. He's real young. In fact he looks like he could be around your age. His features are soft but not his eyes. They're filled with rage. Hatred. It's a menacing shade of purple. He truly intends to kill spider-man. His crooked blonde bangs frame his face well. If he wasn't so intimidating you'd honestly find him handsome. Spider-man began suffocating you could tell.
"What's wrong aibou? Need a hand?"
Venom slapped spider-man with a laugh. It was a rough landing as he slid across the area coughing. Venom walked up to his victim stepping on his back. He kept laughing madly. You weren't sure what to do but you knew you had to help. You look over to a large pot where the chocolate is stirred. You run up to it pressing a button. The hot mixture is poured onto the symbiote causing it to hiss in pain. It gave spider-man enough time to get a safe distance where he shot his webs at Venom. He was much too distracted to go after you. You ran off but Venom didn't allow you to escape. You're pinned to the ground with black webs.
"She's my next meal and there's nothing you can do about it!"
"No!"
Venom punched spidey sending him flying into the wall. He swiped you off the ground holding you while he swung to the ceiling. You try fighting him but its no use. You felt as though you're better off fighting concrete.
"Don't worry. You're safe for now. You'll be my bait and if you act like a nice hostage I won't eat you."
Your eyes widen with fright as you stare at him. He would eat you!? There is no way you want to get bitten by such sharp teeth! His smile appeared from the look of fear on your face.
"Don't worry you'll be safe." His demonic sounding laugh made you shake under his arm.
Spider-man shortly arrived with a large barrel at the end of his web he was holding onto. He aimed directly at Venom but it didn't do any damage! It bounced off his body as if he were as hard as a wall. He shot his dark webs hurting spider-man. You noticed how his other webbing broke through the concrete! It definitely left a mark on the red and blue costumed hero. Venom swung across the area much to your discomfort. His speed was tremendous causing your hair net to fly off your head. Your hair is left with waves cascading down your back. He lands on top of the roof dropping you on the ground. When you look up at him he licks his lips at you.
"You don't look half bad with your hair down." He said huskily.
You gave him a look of disgust without meaning to. Venom didn't have time to respond since spider-man arrived. They fought left and right leaving large holes of the roof. Spidey managed to bring you to safety. He carried you back onto the street asking you to run away. You did exactly as he said and ran home. You didn't care how long of a walk it would be since you're tired. Venom and spidey continued their fight at the factory.
"Atem we know you're spider-man. Starting today we make your life hell. First your identity, then your friends, your job, until finally I go after your aunt May. You took away everything from me and now I'll take everything from you."
"Yugi..." Atem said with rage.
Police sirens are heard outside the entrance of the factory. Venom decides he doesn't want the police try to arrest him tonight. He looks over to spidey before shooting his web.
"We'll meet again but don't expect a friendly visit. I will kill everyone you love. Mark my words Atem Parker."
Venom used his speed to crash through a window breaking it. Not wanting to get the blame Atem leaves as well. He desperately wanted to go after Venom but he was too tired and had school in the morning. He was worried about all whom he cared about. His mind was filled with a lot of thinking on the way home. Yugi was busy trying to get as far away as possible in case spidey chased after him. He finally lands in an alley laughing to himself.
"There is no way he will be getting proper sleep tonight." Yugi laughed while his companion looked at him with an accomplished grin.
"We did good. Our revenge will be utter victory. Poor spider-man will regret the day he met us." The black alien creature spoke.
Yugi heard nearby footsteps. He knew he is in the shady part of the city. It stunk horribly in the alley he is located in. The symbiote camouflaged in Yugi's black tank top. He walked over to the opening checking if it could possibly be danger. He was shocked to see it was you.
"It's that girl... what could she be doing around here..?" Yugi asked.
"Perhaps she is lost." His suit spoke from his shirt.
He can tell you're still startled from your encounter with him earlier. He followed you since he was rather curious.
"I bet she will go to a bar." The symbiote spoke.
"Maybe. Lets follow."
"Someone wants a booty call." It chuckled while Yugi rolled his eyes.
Yugi followed you as you continued walking down the cracked sidewalk. You did eventually calm down but that wasn't until ten minutes into your walk. Your long walk wasn't a fun journey but you made it fine. He followed you until you arrived at the apartments you lived in. He was thinking of giving you a scare until he saw you enter the dirty building. You climbed the ladder at the side of the building. You climbed into your unlocked window with a sigh. Yugi quietly lands on the ladder watching you from the window.
"She lives in such a shit hole.." Yugi said with sad eyes.
He knew how it feels living in such a horrible apartment complex. He is homeless at the moment but when he paired up with his alien friend he knew he could simply rob and get enough money to pay for a new place. He watched as you washed your face from the kitchen sink. You sighed slumping on your old couch. You set an alarm on your clock slowly falling asleep. Yugi would've never guessed you lived in such a place.
"Are we going to feed master?"
"N-no. Let's leave her be. She's going through enough."
"Then let's go feed elsewhere."
"Fine. Do as you please but remember our agreement."
"Yess... no children.." It hissed in annoyance.
🕸🕸🕸
You awoke with a sigh. You got a full nine hours of sleep but you still felt sleepy. You awoke getting ready for your next day at school. You hoped you would remember to use the pay phone after school today. On the way to school you noticed a stir between two grown men and a small young man.
"You think we'll accept you bumping into us?"
"No one disrespects us." The other man said bringing out his knife.
The young man in front of him is real skinny. He looked familiar. The young man wore leather pants and a black tank top. He doesn't seem to be phased by these men. In fact he looks annoyed. You couldn't stand by and do nothing so you get an idea. Behind the men is an alley with boxes and trash. You push one of the big men into the alley where they trip onto the ground landing on glass. They groan in pain blaming each other. You grab the young man's hand running with him down the street. When you think it's far enough you stop. The man next to you is as short as you. His hair is spiky with blonde bangs combed neatly. You look up at him surprised. You recognize the face you saw in the factory yesterday. His eyes aren't as dangerous looking as they were yesterday but you knew these area belong to Venom. The male smiled at you since you had a poker face. You didn't want to give away you recognize him. This man is dangerous.
"Thanks."
"No problem. Be more careful." You were about to leave when he took your wrist.
"Let me walk you. It's the least I could do."
"Okay.." You nod.
He walks you to school which went fine. He didn't say much aside from being annoyed by those men who picked a fight with him for no reason. What you didn't know is he memorized the walk leading to your school.
"Thank you." You wave quickly walking to your school.
"See you." He waved with a grin.
"You're a sneaky one." His suit said from his shirt.
"So what..? It's not like I'm doing anything wrong." Yugi said.
He walked away to find a secluded area to transform. He would need to sneak off and watch Atem. Maybe cause a bit of trouble on the way. The news would report all his "errands" for the day. Shop lifting, destruction of proper, and written death threats all over Domino with the use of his black webbing. It wasn't the worst of it. Atem would be more concerned about the written letters his family and friends received. All were death threats.
You were on your television watching all the chaos on the news. It was very troublesome and scary. You felt thankful the factory would be closed for the next couple of days due to the incident involving Venom. You sighed at your stomach growling. You didn't have a lot of food in your fridge. You then remembered you have ramen and ran to your pantry. You smile warming up some water on your stove. You ate your food too fast for your liking but you were starving. After watching some tv for a couple hours you decide to fall asleep early. Tomorrow would be the start of the weekend meaning you had the day to yourself. You slept soundly on your couch.
The next day you decide to do some job hunting. You're sure you will find something that would work around your schedule. Your morning is filled with walking from store to store. On your way to the next place hiring you hear a group of girls chatting. You notice they each wear designer clothes. You frown since the outfit you wear is really old. It's something you've owned since high school. You wish you could afford more clothing. Yugi happened to be nearby. He wasn't watching you but he so happened to be in the same place. He was going out to buy some produce. He noticed how you looked at the group of girls then your own clothes. He thought he might cheer you up. He was about to go to your side when suddenly a gun is pointed behind your head. The voice behind you made commands. It said to go into the alley quietly. Yugi witnessed everything. He frowned following after you. The stranger had you go to a secluded area of a construction site. You feared for your life. You had nothing to offer this man. The creep grinned at you with his yellow teeth. He commands you to go on your knees. Your legs tremble as you follow the command.
"Listen sweetheart I want one thing and-"
"She won't be giving you anything!"
You and the creep are completely shocked to see Venom! He is angered with the greasy man beside you.
"Don't move! Or- or I'll shoot!" The man trembled.
"You will? I doubt it."
Venom shot his webs at you and the male. He pulled you toward him meanwhile the man was in pain. He stood back up snapping his fingers. Quickly a bunch of his men arrived. Venom knew who this man was. He's heard from several bars that this guy kidnaps women. He has a gang of thugs who help him with theft and other crime.
"Aren't you supposed to be a monster? You're no hero."
"You're right I'm not but I'm not a complete monster. I might rob and destroy buildings but at least I don't kidnap women."
"Who are to judge us? We don't go around leaving death threats, monster."
"If you understood what he did to me you'd understand why I leave him death threats." Venom said darkly.
"Enough talk. Give us the girl."
Venom laughed shooting his webs at everyone. His dark hands morph into the shape of blades. He began attacking everyone left and right. Each had large cuts across the chest. The man who kidnapped you is pointing his gun at you. Venom shields you with his body. You scream closing your eyes in fear. The bullets didn't do any damage. Venom spit them out from his mouth aiming at the males legs.
"You freak!!!!!"
"Have fun bleeding to death." Venom hissed.
More of his men arrived. They're holding bats and heavy chains. Venom sighed shooting more of his webbings.
"Venom! Behind you!" You warn.
Venom dodged a surprise attack from a huge man. He has a broken pipe. Venom decides to pick him up and throw him at the others. You hid behind a pile of bricks. To think he was doing this for you. Did he recognize you? Is he some type of antihero? It didn't matter at the moment because if it weren't for him who knows what would've happened to you.
After Venom is done defeating everyone he carries you somewhere safe. To the park. He's so fast that he went unseen. You're both in a private area.
"It should be safe here. Be more careful. Always stay near someone that could see you."
You nod with a grateful smile.
"Yes I will. Thank you Venom."
He was about to leave but you grab his clawed hand.
"Wait! Why did you save me?"
"Because.. that man rapes and murders his victims. I've been through both.. I'm really fucked up because of it. I don't know which is worse being on the verge of death.. or..." Venom whispered the last part.
You were speechless. This man has been through so much. You remember the conversation he had with the man back at the construction site. Could spider-man really have done something to him? Maybe he does have some morals. You hug him. Venoms eyes widen. Everyone is so scared of him. Even when he rescues others they fear him. Deep down Yugi was always in pain. No one cared about him. Every time he gave his trust to someone they would hurt him. It felt nice to be appreciated and welcomed into someone's arms. He wanted to cry but he knew not in front of you. Right now he felt like smiling. He gently wrapped his arms around you.
"Thank you.."
You give him a smile. One that warmed his heart. He smiled back then went on with his day. You went back to buying your groceries. You didn't know it but you have quite the secret admirer now. Yugi couldn't stop thinking about you. He secretly followed you to make sure you arrive home safe.
This pattern would continue for longer than he expected. He didn't want any danger to come to you. He knew he had no chance with you but at least he could look after you. His crime wasn't as active and he only wrote death threats to Atem now. He was much too busy trying to sabotage Atems life and keeping you safe to commit crime. Spider-man had no idea what happened to Venoms plans. Was he giving up? Maybe lowering his guard and use one of his loved ones as a hostage? He was on edge about the whole situation.
You had no idea Venom was making sure you're safe on your walks. He was happy you're more careful now. You would constantly check your surroundings and hide when you notice suspicious characters. Work was tiresome but you manage fine. Venom felt bad you walk so far for work. He had a feeling you couldn't afford riding on the bus.
Today wasn't the best day because you're so low on food. You paid all your bills and had to pay for an expensive text book. It was preowned but still too pricey for your expenses. You hadn't the slightest idea what you would do for food. Your next pay check isn't for another week. Upon arriving home after your shift you begin crying. Yugi who was making sure you got home safely noticed how sad you look. He went outside your window to see if he could find out. He noticed how empty your fridge is. You barely had food.
"The last can of beans.." You cried.
Yugi couldn't believe it. You barely had enough food for the next two or three days. He frowned at such a sight. You look so miserable and defeated. The next day was hard as always. You ate some toast before heading to school. While you were gone Yugi used some of his money to buy you food. He snuck into your apartment filling the fridge and cabinets with food. Your health was much more important to him. He knew he was the only one able to help you. No one you knew seemed to know about your living conditions. He could tell based on your interactions at school.
When you arrived home you were shocked to see food in your fridge and pantry. You hadn't the slightest idea how it happened. Were you too tired to notice? Deciding a nap sounded good you take a short one. You wake up in time for lunch and prepare a well deserved meal. Yugi watched you with smile. He was happy to watch.
"You've been watching the female for a while.." The symbiote smiles.
"Guess I may have gotten attached. It's no big deal."
"Of course not. Don't forget our plans of revenge. Spider-man is our main target. We must ruin his life." It hissed.
"You're right. We do."
🖤🖤🖤
Later that night Venom and Spider-man appeared on the news. They were having a big fight in downtown. Traffic was backed up and dozens fled for their safety. Spider-man ended up saving several officers trying to arrest Venom. You knew he wanted revenge but it wasn't right. He still had a heart somewhere in there you're not sure what spider-man did to him. You knew you wanted to help him. He saved your life.
You fell asleep wondering if there was anyway of helping him. The next morning you went to school as you normally do. Upon arriving home today you slumped onto the couch tiredly. When you go to your small table you gasp noting a small stack of money. You frantically search around the apartment but everything is locked! You slump back on your couch wondering if you're going crazy. You count the stack not believing they're all fifty's! You didn't want to use the money. You had no idea if it was yours. It couldn't possibly be.
After late into the night you fell asleep. Tonight is your day off. In the middle of the night you woke up hearing something in the living room. You felt worried it could be a thief. You sneak into the living room to see a shadow standing in front of your couch. You turn on the light screaming. It wasn't Yugi. It was some type of black slime creature taking Yugi's form.
"Good evening.." It addressed your name.
"Who-who are you?"
"What a good question. I am Yugi's suit. Part of Venom."
It's demonic voice was creeping you out. You had a feeling it didn't have any bad intentions. You are curious as to what it is.
"Are you an experiment..?"
It began laughing its high pitched laugh.
"No... I am what you humans call an alien. Do not fear me I am here in my masters favor."
"Your master?"
"Yes for Yugi. He's been helping you out a lot lately hasn't he? The groceries. The money."
"That was him?!" You gasp.
"Yes.. it was all him. I'm here to tell you we are both after revenge and I won't let his feelings for you change that."
"You mean you're both after spider-man?"
"Yes we are. He betrayed us both."
"Revenge is never the answer. You both can use your powers for good."
"Oh but we have. We rescue women and children all the time. This town is very scary at night time wouldn't you agree?"
You nod at the weird creature. It's crazy how much he looks to Yugi.
"It's good you rescue the innocent but robbing banks isn't right."
"It isn't? I like to think of us as Robin Hood. Stealing to give to the poor. We only take what we need."
"It's still wrong. Killing spider-man isn't the answer."
"What would you know?!" It screeched causing you to flinch. "Do not worry. It's as I've said you're safe. Yugi would never forgive me if I harmed you."
"You've mentioned that a lot.."
"Yes Yugi is quite taken with you. It's why I am here. To warn you to not interfere."
It knew you had power over Yugi because of his feelings for you. It didn't want you to know this. He hoped he was intimidating enough.
"I won't physically harm you of course but I do have other means of torture. Believe me I won't hold back. Be a good girl and I won't have to come back!"
It left out the window laughing. You were startled by such threats. Torture or saving Yugi? You didn't know he had such feelings for you. He saved your life and tried helping you. Your heart told you to go help him. It's exactly what you did. You knew tomorrow would be Dominos celebration for spider-man. A big celebration in downtown in his honor. You had to prevent him from doing something he could possibly regret. You prepared a backpack and called your work place to call in for tomorrow night. Yugi left you enough money for you to take one night off. You would also have enough to take the bus.
The next day you were on the look out for Yugi. The celebration went on as scheduled. Everyone dressed in costumes and t-shirts. Children held red and blue balloons. It was nice to see the city giving their hero a thanks. You didn't get to enjoy it since you're busy with your search for venom. The mayor's speech about the hero was interrupted by Venom. You didn't think his speed was this quick! He snatched the mic from the mayor.
"Don't believe for a second this man is a hero! He tried killing and he ruined my life! I'm the person I am today because of him!" Venom hissed into the mic.
Spider-man was on stage giving him a saddened expression. It was all a misunderstanding. He didn't mean any of his actions when he was in his black suit. The symbiote kept whispering hateful stuff in his ear. The thief he almost killed was his uncles killer.
"It's not like that! Please listen!" Spider tried to convince.
People in the crowd weren't sure what was happening. They didn't know who to believe. Many fled the area since Venom is very dangerous as he's been on tv numerous times.
"Isn't it?! You bastard. You ruined my life and now I'm going to ruin yours!"
Venom tackled spider-man causing the stage to collapse. The mayor ran off the stage while people in the crowd screamed since Venom was throwing stuff at his nemesis. Trees, light posts and parts of the stage.
"Yugi! I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking when I proved to the bugle your photos were fake. I knew you were going to lose your job but I was being selfish! You were always my friend! It's worth more than that job and I'm so sorry!" Spidey tried apologizing.
"Too late for your apologies. I've already learned my lesson. I tried to be your best friend and look what that got me!" Venom threw another tree at the hero.
"Agh...!! Yugi!!"
"It's VENOM!!" Yugi hissed grabbing spider-man by the throat.
"Yugi stop!!" You shout running toward them.
Spider-man's eyes widen. You knew Yugi's identity? He remembered you from the factory. He saved you. Weren't you afraid of Venom? He put your life in danger. Yugi stuttered your name.
"How do you know it's me?" He let go of his grip on Spider-man.
"I saw your face the night you two fought at the factory! I remembered your face and I remember Venom. You're the man that saved me. You're still good deep down Yugi."
"I-I thought you were scared of me."
"I was but it changed when you rescued me. I know you left me the money and food in my apartment Yugi. It didn't make sense it would appear out of no where."
Spider-Man smiled. He had no idea Yugi had a soft spot for someone.
"Why are you here?"
"To stop you from making a mistake! Don't kill him. He's saved so many lives and you can too Yugi."
"I can.. can't I?" Yugi spoke softly.
"Fool! Don't listen to her! Don't you remember what Atem did to us?!!" The suit spoke with another mouth appearing on Yugi's abdomen.
"I'm sorry Yugi. We can still be best friends. I didn't know what happened to you and I was being selfish. Please forgive me." Atem spoke.
Yugi looked over to Atem then to you. He was confused. Somehow you made his hatred go away.
"If you don't kill him I'll do it myself!" It hissed.
"No! Don't kill him! I was wrong!" Yugi grabbed his hand. "We can both be friends with him again. You have me now. We'll never be alone."
You grabbed Venoms hand to speak to the symbiote.
"No one deserves to be alone. We can work through this together. You can be loved as much as spider-man if you be yourself. Wouldn't it be nice to be appreciated?"
The symbiote became speechless. It didn't sound half bad to be loved. It never experienced it aside from Yugi who treated him like a friend. He called Yugi his master because he respected him. The creature shrunk back to its true appearance leaving Yugi's body. It rested in Yugi's shoulder with a sigh.
"Yugi.. go ahead you love her.."
Yugi ran up to you with a hug. He lifted you off the ground spinning you. To his surprise you kissed him. Spidey was shocked as well so he looked away. Him and the symbiote look at each other awkwardly.
"You kissed me."
"I love you." You said without a second thought.
"You love me.." Yugi said shocked. His smile made you blush.
"I really do. You've done so much for me."
"I love you two." He held you close.
"I don't mean to interrupt but I think you two better head home before the police arrive." Spider-man said.
"Yes of course. I won't be bothering you anymore. I'll see you later. Promise." Yugi said.
Atem was smiling under his mask. He wish he could talk to him but he knew right now wasn't the right time. He didn't care about the celebration being ruined when his childhood friend is back to him.
"I'm sorry.." Yugi said.
"I understand aibou. I'll see you later." Atem said.
"Bye for now." Yugi smiled carrying you in his arms.
"I promise to keep your identity a secret." You waved to Atem.
He waved both of you goodbye. He would be going back home as well. Yugi took off with you swinging with his webs. You felt relieved Yugi listened to you. You arrived at an apartment unfamiliar to you.
"This is my place."
"It's so nice Yugi." You look around.
Yugi secretly shooed his friend while the symbiote sighed sneaking into the guest room to put his headphones on and play video games. He didn't want to hear you two. Yugi locked the door behind him before grabbing your hips. He pinned you to the door with a smirk.
"Yugi.."
He kissed you sparking a make out session.
"I love you.." He whispered as he left kisses on your neck.
"I love you too Yugi." You wrap your legs around his waist.
"Tomorrow after we visit Atems house I want to go on a date." His kisses your cheek.
"I think that's a great idea." You kiss his forehead.
"Then we'll start packing your stuff so you can move in.." He mumbled across your neck while you hum in agreement. "Then I'll have you pinned on the kitchen table for a rough time." He said as he caresses your thighs.
You moaned at the touch. He continued kissing your neck and massaging your body up against the wall. You were in for a rough ride but he promised you he would change and be the hero you wanted him to be. He proved how much he loved you all night long.

Second Day of Christmas...
Trope: Teacher/Student (college) (Nsfw) Relationship: Saytr x Human Word Count: 5,426
Tumblr media
I quickly grab my clothes from off the floor, putting them on as I shuffle out of the bedroom. Stopping at the door I look back at the naked satyr lounging tangled in his sheets. I can't help but pat myself on the back with the lay tonight. He is a rather sexy man, putting my past one night stands to shame with skills in the bedroom. Hell, I almost overslept from how exhausted he got me. I debate leaving my number as I walk into the living room. Before I can decide my phone chimes, notifying me of my ride outside.
"Shh, shh," I hush the phone, wincing at its volume. Hearing shuffling from the bedroom I quickly abscond out the front door.
Breakfast with Shelby is live with juicy details of our weekend. She talks about her weekend vacation with her boyfriend to her parent's beach resort. I can't help but scoff at her rich family. They spent most of the time there humping like bunnies on every surface. Minimal time was spent actually on the beach.
I share my weekend events, explaining a night spent man hunting and coming up short till the last minute. A handsome satyr bought me a drink, wooing me with his words before getting me back to his place. The night was honestly great, to a surprising degree. He listened and adapted eagerly to every moaned instruction, going above and beyond before reaching his own end.
"Shame you didn't get his number," she says, swiping through her phone.
"Eh, don't think he would have written. He is more of a once in a lifetime lay more than a potential relationship," I shrug, hiding my true disappointment.
"Who knows, maybe you'll see him again," she giggles at her phone, thoroughly distracted now.
"If that fates demand it," I mumble, finishing off my drink in a single swig.
Classes begin today, starting off the spring semester. My day begins with Calculus, Satan's greatest creation. Bless first-day intros that lack any actual work. Next is ITE, the easiest class for someone using computers since they could read and write. Then the first day of classes ends with English, the most weirdly complicated college course besides science.
I walk in and take the first seat closest to the door. Dropping my bag on my desk I begin checking my messages before class begins. I respect the amount of money I spent on these classes not to get distracted by my mobile device. Don't respect that class, but the copious amounts of money spent to sit here and do nothing till I can go home and reteach it all to myself.
The class fills up till it's at compacity, normal for the first day. The teacher walks in shortly after we were scheduled to start, dropping his case on to his desk.
"Hello, hello. Welcome to English 111, I am Mr. Farfick," the teacher begins the class. I set down my phone, shoving it into my bag as I give my sole attention to Mr. Farfick. Our eyes meet immediately as he is already staring, stiff as a bored and white as a sheet. I feel to be in a similar fashion as my blood runs cold and a nervous chuckle wishes to leave my throat.
Hello, Mr. Best-One-Night-Stand-Ever.
The hour and a half are spent in thick tension. Everyone else seems oblivious to the teacher and I's strife. Tobias- Mr. Farfick is fidgeting as he hands out papers, avoiding all contact with me as I do the same. I can't bring myself to look to the teacher who spent hours last week between my legs. Like, how would any expect to look at this man and not have your first thought be him giving you bedroom eyes while eating you out? That's just evil.
2 o'clock couldn't come fast enough, me being the first to bolt out the room. I race to my car, flustered all to hell as unwanted images of his o-face pops into my mind. It plays on repeat, evening morphing scenes to him at his desk doing the same. I can't drop it, I'm not 100% sure if I want to. I shake my head at the idea.
I have to change classes.
The next day I head to the offices to talk with a counselor about changing teachers. I sit in the waiting room longer than necessary till I'm called back. I jump, following the woman into her small box office.
'Hello, what can I help you with today," she asks, already clicking away on her computer.
"Uh, I was curious about other English 111 classes, the day isn't really working for me," I lie.
She nods," of course, let's see. We have a Tuesday and Thursday class at 11 am with Mr. Farfick, or Monday and Wednesday at 12:30 am with the same teacher."
I wince," no other teacher?"
She clicks away again, giving a sorrowful look," no, it appears he is the only available English teacher this semester. I can promise you that he has received nothing but praises from the previous student. He is a good teacher."
'also a good student', I think to myself.
"Alright, I trust you. I guess I'll have to keep it as is and figure it out myself. Thank you," I stand, heading out the office," have a good day."
"You too, bye," she smiles sweetly. I smile back, dropping it with a groan once out of sight. It seems I have no other options besides wasting a semester taking one class later. I have to deal with him.
Class the next day is equally tense as the one before. He ignores me altogether, not even looking to my side of the room as he speaks to the class. I can't blame him, even though it stings a bit. Right now I can't stare at him too long or saucy images pop into my head. Instead of paying attention, I come up with a plan of attack.
The obvious option is to talk to him, getting all out in the open. We were two consenting adults, there was nothing wrong with what we did. He wasn't my teacher and I wasn't his student, if anything it was the other way around. His pleased grin as he watches me cum on his fingers comes to mind. I shake my head from the thought.
2 o'clock comes around, startling me from my thoughts. I watch as the class heads out, leaving me to slowly pack as to stall. As the last student walks out I make my move. I stand before Tobias-Mr. Farfick-, startling him when he looks up.
"H-hello," he greets. It's kind of cute to see him so flustered.
"We should talk," I get straight to the point. He drops his shoulders, sighing as he looks around. He stands from his desk, grabbing his bag as he heads to the door.
"Let's talk in my office then," he leaves me to follow.
We walk up to the teacher's offices, stopping by one as he unlocks the door. He waves me inside, shutting it behind himself as he lounges against it. I look around his station, stalling a bit as I admire his knickknacks and pictures.
"Nice office," I say.
"Thanks," he answers. I glance over at the couch against the wall.
"You have a couch," I say casually," that's neat."
"Yea, I sometimes sleep here when I need it," he answers.
The silence is deafening as small talk falls flat. I sigh, knowing avoiding this won't do us any good.
"About, uh, last week. We don't need to let that affect our school relationship. I won't bring it up if you don't and we can just pretend it didn't happen," I offer.
He jumps from the door," right! I'm sorry I've been so skittish in class, this kind of thing has never happened before and I really didn't know what to do."
"yea, can't say that I've run into this issue before either," I joke with a dry laugh.
The silence comes back just as strong, suffocating me as I try to think of anything to say. I kick my shoe against his carpet, cleaning off a bit of dirt. With a huff, I look back at him.
"Well, I guess that's it. I'm going to head out now," I point to the door," yep." I skirt past him, grabbing the handle. As I tug it open he speaks.
"Why did you leave in the middle of the night," he asks. I freeze, confused. I shut the door as I turn back to him.
"What?"
"Before, you snuck out before morning and I was really wondering why. I don't do the one-night stand thing often but when I have they normally stay for breakfast," he explains. I'm caught off guard by his genuine displeasure of me leaving that night. In my experience men generally don't want me around the next morning.
"You wanted me to stay for breakfast," I ask dumbfounded.
"well yea," he says like it was obvious," you were really fun at the bar and I wanted to try to get your number if you were up for that."
"You wanted my number?"
"of course. I thought the night was fun, even great, and going out for dinner sometime was something I wanted to do with you," he shrugs," but you clearly weren't up for that as you snuck out in the middle of the night."
I stare at him even more confused," you wanted to get dinner sometime?"
"Can you stop repeating what I've said," he snaps," you know what, never mind. I was just curious and for the next week I kept thinking, 'did I do something wrong' 'was the sex not that good'? It hardly matters now so excuse me for taking up your time. Feel free to see yourself out." he stomps out of the way, his hooves clomping on the floor. I continue to look at him dumbfounded, utterly conflicted at his confession. No man has ever wanted me to stick around.
His dejected face plucks at my heart as my emotions guide me forward. Without truly thinking I grab his tie and tugs him close, pressing my lips to his in a determined kiss. He jumps, not reacting as I pull away.
"If I'd known you wanted me to stay for breakfast I would have stayed. I would have love to give you my number. I honestly don't know if I would have agreed to dinner but my answer may have leaned towards yes, and you were the best sex I ever had," I ramble on, answering all his questions in one go.
It takes a moment for him to catch up, I give him a second to catch up. I fiddle with his tie, becoming nervous as he stares at me dazed.
"The best sex you ever had," he huffs with a smile.
"By a long shot," I smile wide. He grabs me and tugs me against his body as he steals a kiss. The taunt string that sat between us snaps as he backs me against his desk. He lifts me easily onto the tabletop, fitting himself between my legs. I run my hands through his hair, petting at his horns before tugging him closer.
Our tongues mix as we fiddle with one another's pants. I reach into his easily, finding his hard cock and pulling it out. He unbuttons my pants, tugging them hard down my legs. As I jerk him off he splits away from my lips, a string of saliva connecting us. I lick it away, grinning like a fool at his dazed face. I palm him, pleased to be reacquainted once more. With a groan he splits my legs farther, shoving my underwear to the side to pet at my cunt.
"So wet," he hums," I need you."
I squeeze his cock as I whisper in his ear," then take me, Professor." he rewards me with another moan, his head dropping to my shoulder as he shoos my hand away from his cock. He tugs me to the end of the desk, wrapping my legs around him as he thrusts in.
He whines," Divine.' I couldn't agree more.
He doesn't draw this out any longer, grabbing my hips and pumping into me. We both grunt and groan, keeping quiet despite the thumps of his thighs hitting the desk are louder than us. I hold on to him, already feeling the throbbing in my clit. Everything about this adds to the appeal. Fucking in his office where anyone can walk in. Fucking my teacher shortly after class. Fucking the sexy Satyr from last week. All together brings me towards my climax faster than normal.
Tobias grunts, stuttering in his movement. He begins panting, lazily kissing my shoulder. His hand snakes around from my hip to where we meet, beginning to rub at my clit with practiced ease. It seems he hasn't forgotten. I choke on a cry, burying my face against his neck as I tug on his tie and fist his hair.
"Please, please," I ramble under my breath. My body feels like fire as my coming climax starts to wash over me. I jerk into his next few thrust, wanting to worship his magic fingers. I cum with a surprised yelp, biting into my fist as my legs tremble around his hips. He grunts, his face pinching in agony as he bucks wildly. A few wavy moans leave his lips as he tosses his head back. I feel him cum, pulsing as he fills me. I shudder at the feeling, my nails digging into his hair.
He comes back to himself first, dropping his head so his hair obscures his face. With a large breath, he looks at me between his bangs. He smiles, getting me to smile back.
"Never disappoint, Annika," he praises. I nearly giggle like a girl at that.
"Not so bad yourself," I tug on his tie, pulling him into a kiss. We bask in the afterglow, feeling high as we lazily kiss. It isn't till someone knocks on his door does the reality of our situation sink in.
Quickly, he pulls out, tucking himself away as I right my underwear. He straightens his tie, fixing his hair as I hop off the desk to pull on my pants. I feel his cum dribble out, shivering in mild disgust at the feeling. I walk over to my bag swinging it over my shoulder as Tobias- Mr. Farfick- answers the door.
"Hello," an older woman greets," Do you have a moment?" she glances at me then back to him.
"Uh, yea," he jumps to attention," we finished our conversation, let me just see Mrs. Annika out."
The older woman walks in, stepping near his desk, as he guides me to the door. I step out into the hall, turning to him when I notice him lingering. He grabs the door and doorframe, leaning towards me to whisper in my ear.
"See you in class next week," he purrs. A blush curls up against my neck as I give an unsteady, 'ok'. He chuckles, warm and deep, before shutting the door.
I stare at the closed door for a moment, everything truly setting in now that I'm alone. A shiver of excitement rumbles around my body as I rush down the hall. I make it out of the building and to my car where I sit in silence to think about everything.
"He creampied me in his office," I say surprised," my teacher creampied me." I grab the steering wheel to steady myself, groaning in discomfort. "what the hell is wrong with me," I shout," nobody actually does this! I don't do things like this, I'm a semi-good person who definitely doesn't sleep with their fucking teacher!"
I try to scold myself, I really do, but it was all too good to be truly mad about it. Tobias is just… he is fantastic. I know if given the chance to sleep with him again I would take it, with no hesitations. Still, it's my teacher. Sure he is my teacher for just the semester and I met him before then, but should it be an issue? Will he get fired if someone knew? This isn't high school rules anymore, it's not illegal, but he could get fired.
"fuck," I thunk my head on the steering wheel," he better know what he's doing because I sure as hell don't."
I finally drive home, still going over what happened. The weekend comes and goes as I get the minimal homework I have done. When Monday comes I'm almost giddy at the aspect of having English today. Who knew the only way to get me excited over school was to fuck my teacher?
Calculus almost gets my mood down, almost. ITE continues to be the easiest class in existence. Finally, English 111.
Mr. Farfick is here on time, sitting on his computer and not paying anyone a bit of mind. I sit in my previous spot by the door, trying my damndest not to stare at him. We didn't decide if we were going to ignore what happened, the two cases of it. Are we pretending it didn't happen? Will it happen again? I nearly moaned at the idea of it happening again.
"Hello, hello," he greets," I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to get the one assignment I gave you done." he looks out to the class, not avoiding me but not paying attention. Are we pretending it never happened? A few people groan out a droll yes as we all get out our assignment.
He walks the room, picking them up at the end of each row. As he passes mine he stops.
"Did you do your homework," he asks casually. I hand him the stack with a nod. He mumbles loud enough for me," Good girl," and walks on. I choke on my breath, gulping hard as I try not to smile like a fool.
Guess we aren't ignoring anything.
Class is filled with subtle glances and double meaning remarks. It's hard to not give him flirty looks and twirl my hair like some freshman. I try to keep it professional while playing along. Class ends and I stall putting my things away. As the last student leaves, I walk up to his desk.
"Afternoon, Annika," he smiles to himself as he works on his computer," do you need something?"
"Besides you," I shrug, resting my hip next to his desk," maybe."
He looks up with a pleased grin," you need me? Should I be so tempted?"
"Not yet, I have some questions," I say with a bit more seriousness. He sobers a bit, leaning forward on crossed arms.
"What can I help you with, Annika," he asks. His genuine want to help shines through as he focuses solely on me. It makes me stutter a little, my heartwarming up more to him.
"two things," I start," what's happening here, and will we get in trouble for it?" it's best to cut to the chase with this.
He smiles again," worried, Annika?"
"About my degree, yes," I answer honestly.
He drops his chin to his desk," you won't get in trouble, I might, but it's mostly surface-level disciplinary actions like time off and pay cut."
"Are you so willing to lose money because of a fling," I ask, a little angry at his lack of self-preservation.
"A fling," he cocks a brow," would I be too bold to want more than that?"
I recoil at him, not put off but surprised. "You want a relationship or something," I ask.
He nods," I told you I liked you, Annika, and I'd like to see where this goes. Of course, I'm not going to force you but if I want something I generally go for it. To let a few weeks decide if I should drop all feelings for you or not seems rather stupid. I won't be your teacher for long, and you won't be my student for long. So why stall just so we don't feel weird about it?"
I watch him, a bit lost in thought. I mean, he has a point. As long as I don't get in trouble and he doesn't care about getting in trouble then what's the issue? Still, it begs the question of 'am I interested in being in a relationship with him?'. I look at his eager face, seeing the dorky man that lies within. He is excited and I think I feel that too.
"ok," I shrug.
"Ok?"
"ok, as in yes or sure. Generally another word for affirmation," I explain as I reach into my bag, ripping a small piece of paper out.
He watches eagerly," I know what that means, but what are you affirming?"
I write my number on the paper, handing it to him," to going out. Now I have to leave, feel free to write."
I walk out with a cute little wave. He looks from me to the paper, smiling wide as he gets his phone out. I walk out of the building with a pep in my step.
He calls later that day, to my surprise. I answer the unsaved number knowing fully well who it is.
"Hello, hello," I mimic his class greetings.
"evening, Annika, hope I'm not calling at a bad time," his voice purrs through the speaker. I lounge back in my bed, pinching the phone between my ear and shoulder.
"Of course not, I was just doing some boring English homework," I tease.
"Boring? How rude of the teacher to give out such lame assignments then," he answers. I snort, shaking my head.
"It's fine, he's pretty cute so he can get away with keeping English boring," I joke.
"We will get back to the cute part, you don't like English?"
I grab the paper on the bed, looking it over," it's not my favorite, I tolerate it. Perhaps I just need proper motivation."
"What kind of motivation?"
I hum," not sure, some positive reinforcement wouldn't hurt."
"like perhaps an evening with your 'cute' professor," he asks, his voice low and sultry. I nibble on my lip, feeling giddy.
"Wouldn't hurt," I bite back a smile," I heard he is really good in bed."
"Is that right? I don't think he would mind giving up some of his free time to keep you motivated to pass," he says.
"you would know?"
"of course, I'm really close with him," he drops his game, speaking without the erotic purr," can we stop pretending I'm not him, I'm getting hard and I wanted to have an actual conversation with you."
I bark out a laugh," you're hard? I didn't even do anything."
He snorts," oh, you did plenty. I could barely sit in class today without thinking about bending you over my desk. See your cute little pussy soaked and spread for my enjoyment."
"that's so cruel, how am I to sit in class now knowing what your thinking. Every time you walk by I just wanna grab your horns and drag you to you're knees to get you to work on getting this 'little pussy' ready for your enjoyment," I tease back. I hear a faint groan from him as if he pulled the phone away.
"Stop, I wanted to be a gentleman and ask you how your day was," he scolds.
"well it's better now, only if you were here to deal with this throbbing between my legs it would be amazing," I grin as he groans again.
"Naughty, naughty," he tsks," tell me about your day and we can decide tomorrow how to deal with you in my office."
"Promise," I ask.
"Promise," he says firmly.
We actually manage to talk about something other than sex. I talk about my day, as does he, and go on about my degree. It's sweet how attentive he is throughout, adding feedback about class courses and teacher drama. The entire time we talk I can't wipe the smile off my face.
The next day in his office is…eventful.
"Fuck," he moans near my ear. He pounds into me against his bookshelf, the shelves hitting uncomfortably against my back. I can't bother to care as his finger rubs my clit and his cock pumps into me. Small wails leave my lips, leading him to cover my mouth with his own. Our cries of pleasure mix, his hips adding the beat to our music of the body.
"Please," I beg against his lips.
"I got you," he mumbles. I grapple at his shoulders, squeezing him closer with my legs and grinding into his thrusts. He grabs my hands from around him, pinning them on the shelf with our fingers clasped together. He kisses me, swallowing my groans as I fall apart.
"T-Tobias," I shutter.
"Annika," he echoes back, squeezing my hand as his face pinches. His cum floods me once again, painting my insides with his seed. We rest against each other, breathing heavily in the silent room. Tobias rocks his hips slowly, leaning down to press sweet kisses to my cheek and neck.
"So beautiful," he whispers," I could stay like this forever."
I smile lazily," yea, I could to-" I'm interrupted by a knock at the door.
"Mr. Farfick," a younger voice calls out. Their silhouette is partially seen through the frosted glass.
"Shit," Tobias- Mr. Farfick- curses. He pulls out, setting me down gently on my feet. I watch him fumble with his clothes, tucking himself away and rebuttoning his shirt. He is quite the sight as I slowly fix my clothes.
"Seem a bit flustered there," I tease.
He looks to me a bit panicked as he fixes his tie," well yea, there is a student at my door."
"Mr. Farfick," they call again.
"Just a moment," he answers back.
I button my shorts as a mischievous smile curls my lips," I thought you didn't mind getting caught."
"No, I said it's not a big deal if I get caught, but I rather not if I can help it," he corrects. I stand at the bookshelf with my shirt still undone and bra unhooked. With him all proper and straight he looks to me, his eyes drop to my breast before he looks back to me.
He squints as he walks over and begins to right my clothes," Don't be evil right now."
I tug his tie and brings him in for a kiss," who says I'm being evil."
He closes his eye in frustration, growling low in his throat," be a good girl and go sit down by the desk."
"Ok, Mr. Farfick," I purr, kissing his cheek before I sit back down. He huffs, walking over to the door. Before he opens it he throws me a warning look.
"Sorry, I was speaking with another student. What do you need," he asks the tall lad before him. I don't bother paying attention, looking around his room, and thinking back on moments ago.
I don't hear him shut the door or walk over till he grabs my hair and slowly guides my head back. He scowls down at me, pulling my hair a little tighter
"Something wrong," I ask casually.
"You, young lady, are in big trouble," he twists my chair and frames me with his arms. I grab his tie again, pulling him closer.
"what? Little old me," I mock innocence. He rolls his eyes, letting me tug him in for a kiss.
The semester is a lot more fun than I anticipated. We have fewer moments in his office after the last incident with the student. But we make up for it at his place on the weekends. English becomes a lot more fun when every good grade is rewarded with gratuitous sex.
At the final week of class, I lay in Tobias' bed, snuggled up in his arms after another study session. I pet my foot up his hairy legs, relishing in the softness of his fur. He opens his eyes, a lazy smile decorating his face.
"Hi," I whisper.
"Hello," he shuts his eyes back, pulling me closer.
"Finals are next week, imma be a bit too busy to come over," I say quietly, not wanting to break the peace of the room.
He hums, answering in his gravelly voice," you sure you don't want some help studying?"
"I actually need to study," I answer," we do a lot less studying when together."
He gropes at my ass," I don't know what you mean, I think we did a lot of studying tonight."
I snort," yea if I was taking anatomy." he chuckles, snuggling his face against my chest. I pet at his hair, pushing it off his forehead and around his horns.
"I wanna make a deal if I have to spend a week without you," he grumbles from between my breast.
"What kind of deal," I scratch the back of his head. He hums, rubbing his cheeks against my boob.
"Pass all your exams and I'll take you out to dinner as a reward. Nothing cheap, but a genuine date," he looks up at me as he speaks. We haven't gone out before, deciding against it for reasons. The fact that he wants to almost knocks the breath from me. A part of me always saw this as a fling, even though he hasn't validated that thought. We talk, often, but sex is a given anytime we're in the same room. It's nice to be properly taken out, shown off without the threat of consequences.
"And if I fail," I ask instead of answering. He cocks a brow, rising and crawling over me. I pet at his chest, smiling at where this was going. He leans down, kissing under my jaw.
He whispers," let's just say, I suggest you don't." I can't stop the girlish giggle that leaves my mouth, relishing in the love bites being littered across my neck.
The next week is rather torturous. I nearly call Tobias just to get an excuse to stop doing study packets. I hold strong, keeping distractions to a minimum. For some reason, I really wanna get the best grade I can, perhaps to have something to be proud of when I show Tobias. I fluster at the idea that I want to impress him.
Exams are torturous, especially in Calculus. The ITE exam was a joke, only one or two questions being confusing. English wasn't hard but trying to focus with Tobias just a few feet away was its own form of torture. When he walked around the room I nearly covered my answers in pure nervousness. The one time I catch his eyes, he gives a sweet motivating smile. I keep that with me as I turn in the test and walk out.
I don't see Tobias till grades are posted, wanting to give him whatever news I have the second I know. I skip to his house, feeling giddy as I knock on his door. I bounce on my toes, waiting for him to answer as I pinch my phone in my hand. The door opens and I nearly shove the phone in his face with my excitement.
"I passed them all," I cheer. He takes the phone from me, checking it over.
"Got a C in calculus," he tries to scold, a smile still tugging on the corners of his mouth.
I roll my eyes," C's get degrees, you try taking that class."
"You're right, I can't talk, I failed calculus in high school," he sets my phone on the table by the door and picks me up. I wrap my legs around his waist, hugging him as we walk inside.
"So dinner this weekend," I ask, bouncing in his hold.
"Well, since you were such a good girl. I guess," he jokes," but first, I've missed you." he carries me over to his bedroom, dropping me on the bed before crawling over me. I drag him down for a kiss, smiling like a fool the entire time.
"Proud of you," he says between kisses," you did very well."
"it's because I had a good teacher," I tease. He snorts, working on removing my clothes as I work on his.
I do hope the sex isn't different now that he isn't my teacher. He makes me swallow those words that night.

The war was over, it was finally over. Years of fear and torment at the hands of Voldemort and his followers were just a bad memory you and all your friends could finally start healing from. You had been on the easy side of the war, or more like the least damaging. Staying at Hogwarts and studying under the rule of Snape and the Carrows, although traumatic was nothing compared to what Harry, Hermione and Ron had to go through, as well as his more closest friends like the entire Weasley family, Neville and Luna. They had taken upon themselves to go and find the way to defeat Voldemort and they had done it successfully, after enduring some not so enjoyable moments and the loss of many loved ones.
You had been there when Harry revealed himself to Snape, Professor McGonagall stepping in his defense as the crowd of students from all houses cleared the way with gasps and heavy breathing, you had been there when Professor McGonagall sent the entire Slytherin house to the dungeons as the rest of the houses helped clear the younger student and prepared for battle.
You saw students fight, using all the training provided by Hogwarts and Harry himself against Voldemort forces. You saw people cry, laugh, scream, die and run. You had seen things that were now burned into your mind, waking you up in the middle of the night with a choked scream as cold sweat rolled down your forehead.
You didn't even want to think what Harry and his friends woke up to in the middle of the night.
But more worrying, you didn't want to know what the Slytherins woke up to in the mornings.
Two year had passed by since the battle of Hogwarts, you had your life more or less back to normal. Whatever normal meant this days. You were training as healer at St. Mungos, not the easiest job but it payed off for food and your apartment besides the fact that you actually enjoyed it. It was full of surprises.
"Morning, Y/N." said one of the healers as he arrived to the desk, greeting you with a peck on the cheek as he sign in for the day.
"Dr. Williams," you said back, pointing to one of the rooms with a file in your hand "You arrived just in time," you handed him the file with an innocent smile "Julie, eight years old. Fell of her broom and broke her right arm."
He sighed, taking the file from you "The day we get more than broken bones I'll buy you dinner." he winked your way, turning away before you could answer.
Your shifts usually started at noon and ended late at night. It was going to be a long day.
And just as you thought the day stretched out like it was a boring class at Hogwarts, the day slow with only three patients, giving a lot of free time to Dr. Williams to shamelessly flirt with you.
"I've told you before, it's Jason." he said with a smirk, leaning in the desk as the other Healers stared at you two "Dr. Williams sounds too serious." he shrugged, like his title was something he was ashamed of.
"Well this is a serious environment Dr. Williams, you are technically my boss." you said, not looking up from the papers you had to fill before the end of the day, which was in 30 minutes.
"Oh, c'mon Y/N!" he exclaimed, a smile always in his face as he took the quill from your hand.
You lifted your face in annoyance, trying to reach for the quill when he lifted his hand above his head "Jason, I need that." you grumbled tiredly, opening your palm for him to return it.
He grinned "See? Wasn't that hard to call me by my name." he placed the quill back in your hand, finally finishing the papers.
You shook your head, gathering everything in your arms to take it back to its place. But the sound of the door bursting open caught yours and everyone's attention, a gasp leaving your lips as you saw the group of people entering the hospital.
"We need a healer!" said the girl, two man carrying one that could barely stand. He had blood dripping from his forehead and nose, a bruise in his cheek.
You analyzed the other two as the healers there took the man from them. Clothes blood stained, some parts ripped as if they had pulled harshly from them. They had certainly been on a fight.
"This isn't the emergency room," muttered Jason as he neared the bed where they had laid the man. He was unconscious, but you were sure he would wake up to a lot of pain.
"Just shut up and help him," you hissed, starting to prepare him for the healers.
Jason stared at you in shock, taking a second to react as he draw his wand, muttering healing spells that started to make him regain some color.
You cleaned his face, his features becoming more visible as you froze "Malfoy." you whispered, capturing Jason's attention.
"What?" he growled, moving your hand that was brushing his dirty hair out of his face, leaving his pale face out in the open. "Bloody hell, a fucking Slytherin.“
You glared at him, fire burning inside of you as you pushed him with all your force "Get away from him." you growled, drawing your own wand as everyone stared at you, only one of the trained healers kept on working beside you.
"What the hell, Y/N?!" shouted Jason, slamming the door to the room they had moved him close "You are not a trained healer, I am."
You made as kind with your throat, swallowing all the words you wanted to scream "At least I'll try, you're going to let him die because of his Hogwarts house." you muttered bitterly.
You heard him grunt, pacing in the room as the door opened. Your actual boss, Healer Whitethorn examined the room with a glare "Williams, out." she ordered, a smile on your face before she set her eyes on you "You too, Y/L/N." she said, stepping in with wand in her hand.
"But…"
"Out!" you flinched at her loud voice, her eyes meeting yours "You are on Williams team, he's out and so are you. Check on the other that came with him."
You huffed, reluctantly going outside as you threw away your lab coat on the chair. Your other coworker ran at your side, giving to a reassuring look before she settled on the three defeated persons at the waiting room.
"I'll take two of them," she murmured in your ear "Take the bleeding one, I'll take the girl and Mr, Bruises over there."
She didn't wait for your answer, calling to girl for inspection as you stared back at the bleeding one, according to her.
"Come with me." you said standing in front of him, his head low and only lifting slightly to look at you when he noticed your there.
"I'm fine," he mumbled, shaking his head at you.
"Sir, you are dragging your words and your head is bleeding," you told him matter of factly "I can't let you go if you don't let me at least clean the wound."
The man at his side nudged him, giving him a small smile "Go on mate, you took one blow for Draco, I just held Pansy back. We need you alive to go find them later."
He looked at him incredulous, his mouth slightly open with a thousand words he wanted to say at the tip of his tongue but decided against it. He sighed, slowly standing up when he stumbled slightly, eyes wide as he tried to focus on something, anything. The only thing he could found was you, both hands gripping tightly at his forearms making him regain his balance.
"Thanks." he breathed out, returning the safe grip on your arms.
You nodded reassuringly, taking slow steps backwards and into one of the examination rooms. He made it with little problems, slumping on the bed.
"Do you know your name?" you asked, putting on a new pair of gloves.
"Theodore, uh- Theo. " he said lowly, not meeting your eyes.
You hummed, starting your work on the gash in his head. "Last name?" you asked, ignoring the hissing sounds the alcohol pulled from him. He had his eyes closed, and you pulled a chair for you as you stared at him. "Theo?" you called again, fearing he wasn't listening to you.
You breathed out in relief when one of his eyes popped open, looking at you before he sighed in defeat "Nott." he said, watching you carefully for any reaction.
He hadn't seen when you pulled a file, writing down his answers "Theodore Nott," you repeated as you wrote it down "Head injury, possible concussion." you said out loud, closing it and looking back at him, clearly he wasn’t eager to answer the questions.
"You're going to have to stay the night just to be sure that the head injury is nothing more than that." you told him, handing him the a bag for his clothes and the hospital gown, closing the curtain so he could change.
Theo reluctantly changed, doing quick work in his clothes to not keep you and his friends waiting. Luckily for him you looked nice, kind. You hadn’t reacted to his name and your attitude towards him was completely professional, not a single hint of judgement in your eyes .
“Mr. Nott?” he heard you call, the door of the room opening with your voice following “Do you need help?”
He breathed out, opening the curtain with his bag tucked under his arm “Ready.” he said lowly.
You took the bag from him, taking his arm again “Can you walk?” you asked him, standing in front of him he gave you a soft nod and you began walking slowly. The silence was peaceful, but you has thing to tell him, breaking the much needed peace.
“Technically I should place you in this floor,” you told him lowly, avoiding the looks of any Healer you passed, keeping your chin up and up front “But since your friend is more injured and you are staying the night, the fourth floor is going to be where you stay. I've informed your friends you are staying the night and they said they will be here in the morning.”
He gave you a questioning look, clearly they were close to each other to be involved in fights together. Or maybe fate wasn't that fair to them but from their interactions you saw before they seemed friends. You could only assume.
"I sent them home," you explained "They might not be that injured but they will need the rest."
He looked down at you, the height difference more notorious now that he stood next to you. He gave you a small smile, not one that you saw, your eyes staying in your path at all times.
“Here,” you whispered for him to turn, the room poorly lighted until you could get your wand out, a flick of your hand and the place was properly lighted. “Malfoy would be across the hall. As soon as he wakes up, you and your friends can go see him.” you informed him, helping him get under the covers.
You made sure he ha anything he might need, a glass of water and another blanket close by so he wouldn’t have to move. “Is there anything else you might need, Mr. Nott?” you asked him from the door.
He looked at you, his eyebrows knitted in his forehead “Theo,” he said “Call me Theo, Mr. Nott was my father.” he told you, a nod from you as you neared his bed again.
“Forgot to introduce myself,” you laughed nervously “Y/N Y/L/N, I’ll be taking care of you while you’re here.” you said, getting a positive response from him.
You made your way out of the room without another word closing the door softly behind you, the last thing you saw being him letting his head fall softly in the pillow, almost in defeat.
“What the hell was that?!”
You snapped out of your head, tuning in your place as you saw Jason practically run towards you with a glare that you mirrored, turning in your heel and away from him. But he was taller and faster, catching up with you fast as he grabbed your arm forcing you to face him “Answer me, Y/N.” he growled, his face inches from yours.
“Like you don’t know,” you spat, your eyes roaming angrily all over his face “We all know you’re the proudest Gryffindor here, you take the rivalry with Slytherin to a whole new level.” you took his hand with all the force you had, pulling it away from your arm.
He stared at you, saying nothing and you laughed bitterly “What is it, Jason?” you said with a sardonic smile, saying his name with all the anger you had “You think I haven’t noticed how you change cases with Adams so you don’t have to treat Slytherins? I literally work for you and notice all, listen to everything that comes out of your mouth.”
“You better stop now.” he warned, his eyes hardening.
“Or what?” you dared, taking a threatening step towards him “You’re going to tell Whitethorn? Let’s go now, maybe you can tell her too why Marie, a Slytherin, hasn’t worked with you and only with Adams.”
He stared at you, his jaw clenched as he physically fought the shaking anger you produced on him. “Fucking hell.” he muttered, slamming his hand on the wall beside your head before he walked away, your lips letting out a shaky breath once he turned on the corner.
You stayed there, back against the wall as you slide down to the floor with your eyes closed, trying hard to even your breathing but failing.
“Y/N?” you heard Marie, her light steps sounding closer untils she was next to you “You okay? What happened?” she asked, taking your hands from your face and pulling you to your feet.
You shook your head, keeping it low as you cleaned the single tear that fell from your eyes “Williams is an asshole, that’s what happened.” you said, your voice cracking a little when you said his name.
She gave you a sad smile, knowing exactly what you meant “It’s late, do you wanna stay with me tonight?” she asked.
It wasn’t unusual for you to stay at each others places, your shifts were practically the same and you lived relatively close. But then your eye catched on Healer Adams getting Draco Malfoy to his room, you thought that maybe staying back with your own patient wasn’t a bad idea.
“Actually, I think I’m gonna stay here for the night,” you told her, pointing to the door behind you.
“You sure?” she asked you with the raise of her eyebrow “I got your favorite waiting for you.” she sang, but you only shook your head and she nodded with a knowing look “Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow.” she said giving you a quick hug before walking to the stairs and disappearing from your eyes.
You took a moment before walking back to Theo’s room, making sure you weren’t too loud. What you weren't’ expecting was for him to be awake, lazily staring at you as you walked inside.
“Mr. uh- no, Theo.” you said finally, memories of Hogwarts when you had the answer at the tip of your tongue but your brain was going faster than your mouth could and you ended up blurting everything but the right answer came back to you.
“Did I wake you?” you asked with a tight smile.
He shook his head, pointing at the sofa at the corner of the room “Please, sit.” he said, waiting for you to do so “There was a loud noise and I rarely can sleep this early.” he said.
You looked in confusion at the clock on the wall, returning your gaze at him “It’s one in the morning.” you told him.
He smiled softly, lowering his head again “Still, I can’t sleep.” he whispered, breathing deeply “I would much rather your company, if you don’t mind.”
You smiled more relaxed, making yourself more comfortable "Your on luck, I have to take care of you for the night."
"The entire night?" he asked with a gasp, his eyes curiously roaming all over you.
Of course, you had your head elsewhere, his file in your lap. "I'm a healer in training," you said softly looking back at him "We get to the the work no one wants to."
"I'm glad is you." he mumbled, catching your attention with immediately "That other man didn't seemed… Nice." he finished, a little doubtful if he did right in telling that to his coworker, but the knowing nod you have him put him at ease.
You pointed at the wall "The loud noise was him." you said, voice shaky "He is a great healer, probably the best we've got," you paused, looking down at your hands as you bit your lip in thought "He cares very deeply for what happened at the war."
You saw his body stiffened, his arms coming at his sides as he subtly moved to the far side from you. You pursed your lips "I don't, really. I'm sure everyone played their part." you added more cheerfully "Now I need to film your file, do you mind if ask you some questions?"
"Okay," he said.
You nodded getting the paper and quill "Great, I have your name and why were you admitted." you said, tapping on the page before you lifted your face "Age?"
"Twenty," he answered.
You smiled writing it down "We're the same age. I don't remember you from Hogwarts."
"I-I wasn't that sociable. I mainly stuck to my house mates." he told you.
"Slytherin?" you asked, watching his eyes widen "Not everyone was friends with Draco Malfoy." you added, and he nodded.
"Yeah, Slytherin." he said bitterly.
The night was spent with you two chatting about your lives and the your time at Hogwarts. He talk about his favorite subjects, he's hobbies and friends, how he wanted to travel and get to know  the world and maybe even move. He wanted a fresh start away from the war and what used to be his family. He wanted to go to a place where no one knew who Theodore Nott was.
You told him about how simple your life was, consisting of basic needs and your training as a healer. Free time was a forgotten concept for you, the few friends you used to have now married or being successful, your only friend being Marie.
You actually had made a day that night.
When the sun rose on the sky, it didn't long for the visitors to start arriving. Theo was discharged an o my changed rooms when Blaise and Pansy got there, going to see the Slytherin prince himself.
A few hours were spent with casual iochat and worried remarks when Healer Adam's told them they had to leave him to rest. Promises were made to return later that day or the next, and you watched from the desk of the fourth floor as they left, a sinking feeling in your heart as they descended the stairs.
Only they didn't.
"Y/N? “ your heard someone call softly, the voice that still was recorded on your mind from the previous night  filling the air once more.
"Yeah?" you smiled, looking up from your food.
He looked nervous, the tiny smile appearing in his face "I was wondering if I could stop by someday? Maybe go out?" he asked, scratching the back of his head with a nervous yet charming smile.
You chuckled, covering the blush in your cheeks as you nodded "I would love that."
*******************************
Accepting that date was the beginning of the best years of your life.
You went on that one date and connected instantly, even more than the few hours you talked at St. Mungos. One coffee date turned into dinner and surprise visits when you were working, soft smiles and holding hands while you walked turned into passionate kisses and falling asleep in each other's arms. Talking about your days turned into deep conversations about life and your future. Understatement turned into love.
Three years has gone by since that first date and you knew you never wanted to leave Theo's side. You knew who he was and were proud of him, even in the days that he wasn't.
"Theo?" you said loudly, his big mansion requiring the elevated voice for him to hear you from the entrance "I'm home, dear." you said again, paying more attention to the sounds in the house. Or more like the lack of them.
Your footsteps echoed the halls as the only sign of someone being there. You walked to the study where he usually was, empty with no book open or parchment over the desk. The kitchen was your second guess, his only house elf there welcoming you but saying nothing of the whereabouts of your boyfriend. You started to feel fidgety as you made your way to the stairs to go to his room when your eye caught the fire burning in the living room, the back of his head popping over the single couch there, the place he hated the most in the house.
"Theo?" you called again, walking slowly behind him. The glass in his hand making little flickers shine on the walls with the light of the fire.
He didn't answer you, barely gave you a side glance to acknowledge your presence before he took a slow sip of his glass.
You took a shaky breath, going to sit on the floor in front of him. You rested your arms in his lap, looking for his eyes with a small smile "What is it?" you asked him and he shook his head "Is something, you're in the living room. You hate it in here." you said softly.
He couldn't help but look at you, your voice sounding what he imagined an angel's voice was like. He wanted to smile, to reach his hand to your cheek and tell you he loved you. But the voice in his head was right, he wasn't worthy of it. Of you.
"It's nothing," he murmured, voice hoarse as he spoke "Just a bad day."
You nodded, taking his free hand in yours and intertwining your fingers with his "You want to tell me about it?" you asked.
He rose his eyebrows, talking about what was going on inside his head something still so foreign to him. He didn't want to burden you with his problems, even if you knew, knowing and actively being part of them was different. He had noticed how you have him his space, never forcing him to talk and instead taking his mind away from what was bothering him.
"I can tell you about my day," you offered when he stayed quiet, his eyes softening at your bright smile "You don't have to say anything, just listen." you said, crawling a little closer to him.
You looked like a little child, moving your arms and making voices and faces as you narrated your day at work. It wasn't even that amazing as you made it sound, but he still found it amusing how you made a harmless spell backfiring on someone sound like one of the trial Hercules went through.
You saw him smiling down at you, but never point it out and instead carrying on with the story until the end.
"That's amazing, love." he said, leaning to kiss your forehead softly, lingering there for a little more than usual.
You stated sadly at him, looking over his fallen features. It hurt you to watch him so defeated, to not be able to do anything for him. You wanted nothing more than to be able to take his pain away for at least a moment, to make him see what you saw. Not a bad man but a changed one.
"You know I love you, right?" you told him, caressing his cheek with your thumb. His eyes snapped at you both in shock and fear, but he nodded nonetheless and you smiled "And that there is no one I would rather have by my side?"
He took your hand, stopping your movement in his face "I'm bad Y/N," he said coldly "The things I did, what I became…"
"You did because you had no other choice." you said strongly, taking a kneeling position as you held his face in your hands "You did it to survive and you did."
"It was awful." he whispered, the images flashing in his head. The students and people that opposed to Voldemort, their bodies laying on the floor of the very same house he lived in, some still whimpering silently as they stated at the lifeless ones next to them. All the cries of pain and screaming begs for him to stop, the fearful eyes staring at his wand as he muttered the words. Those three words that should have him locked away in Azkaban to never see the light of day again, to never see his friend again, so he could have never met you.
He didn't deserve the happiness you have him when he had cause so much pain, so much suffering, so much death.
"I don't deserve this." he said, pushing your hands away from him as he stood.
"Theo," you whispered going after him and taking his arm in your hand "You do deserve it."
He looked back at you, eyes tormented as he tilted his head "You're just saying it because you love me, and that is exactly my point." he said loudly "Why do you love me? You know what I've done, what has happened in this house."
You bit the inside of your cheek to not yell, trying to keep clam for the both of you "I love you because you make me happy," you started to say calmly "Because you love me too and care for me as much as I care for you. Because even if you've done things you regret you aren't those things. You have been there for me in my lowest days and you never loved me less for that so I'll be damned if I let you feel like you don't deserve my love or the love of your friends." you ended up yelling, your chest moving fast with your breathing before it  was crushed.
Theo had launched himself to your arms, silently weeping in your neck as you reacted with the same emotion, wrapping your arms around his chest. He lifted you slightly from the ground but you couldn't care less, he could damped your shirt with his tears and you wouldn't even blink an eye.
You brought one hand to the back of his head, slowly running your fingers through his hair. "You're a wonderful person, Theodore Nott. And I will make sure you now that every single day." you whispered in his ear, his embrace tightening.
You pulled from him after a moment, looking lovingly into his eyes, pointing to the glass he had abandoned over the table " Finish that up, darling." you told him.
He frowned but didn't fight you, downing the glass in one go "Why, where are we going?" he asked following you to the entrance as you grabbed your coat, handing him his.
"Comfort food." you said with a smile, opening your hand for him to take an apparating in Diagon Alley.
He had always compared you to a child, a very clever child in the body of a beautiful woman, he said. And you could see why, not fifteen minutes had passed and you were already holding two coffees and a lot of his favorite pastries.
You sat down on a bench, eating away without a care in the world as the people walked by.
"You are good with comfort food.' he said to you, a tiny smile playing in his lips.
"Only the best for you, my love." you told him stretching your neck as much as you could to kiss him. In the end he ended up leaning down and you smiled in the kiss.
Of course, the world hated you. The characteristic clear of a throat you had come to hate and despise making you pull with a glare.
"Y/N, is good to see you here."
"It's healer Y/L/N to you, Williams," you said, glancing at Theo when his eyes followed him.
"I see your still with the Slytherin coward." he said smugly, a grin as he eyes Theo "Did you enjoyed running from the battle, you snake? "
“I don't know Jason, did you enjoy hiding in the Great Hall while everybody fought?" he answered, not even looking amused his face looked void of any emotion a she stood up, standing face to face."You see, I was at the battle and I saw you. Never thought it was worth mentioning but you seem very eager to talk about it now." he told him.
Jason clenched his jaw, turning to you "You can do better than this." he grunted, with his hand pointing at Theo.
"Not possible," you said, staring straight into his eyes "Now get out of our sight before I hex you permanently to the fourth floor." you hissed, stepping between him and Theo.
He had turned furiously, storming away before you call "And Jason? Don't you ever dare say anything to him again. He might be a Slytherin but I am a pissed Y/H/H."
You left the threat hanging in the air, watching him go as you turned back to Theo. Your face changed so fast he didn't know if it had been real, your shaking face replaced by a sweet smile as you sat back down, handing him his cup of coffee.
"Theo, you can sit now." you told him, his eyes shining as he did. It took you a moment to realize he was staring at you, a chuckle leaving your mouth as you playfully slapped his arm "Stop looking at me like that."
But he did even listen to you, taking your hand as you looked at him in surprise "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me." he told you, bringing your hand to his lips.
You smiled shyly, blushing slightly that it could be mistaken by the cold air in your face "I love you, Y/N." he said, bringing you to his arms.
"I love you too." you whispered, nuzzling your head in his shoulder as he held you close to him, and you decided then and there,
You never wanted to leave his arms.

TW: VENT KINDA… YEAH YEAH ITS A VENT ABOUT ADHD AND BAD DOCTORS AND PEOPLE NOT LIKING ME FOR ME ALLOWING TO LET MYSELF STIM
Okay so I think I have adhd. I’ve said (a longish time ago) that I had adhd, and that because I doctor that I now realize was incredibly shitty told me I did after asking me about ten questions, most of them being something along the lines of “do you think you have this thing that everyone assumes adhd people do or literally ever adhd person does, example, stimming?” And I’d go “uh yeah, do you wnat me to tell/show you my stims and when/why I do them?” And he’d go yeah, and I should him my stims. I remember when I showed him that when I get really nervous, it’s really hard for me to resist sticking my fingers in different holes in my face. Mouth, ears, nose, heck I’ve tried to pop my fingers into my eyes before, and he got really disgusted. I partly blame my parents, but all the review were clearly from the parents of kids who went there. And they already thought I had adhd, well my mom did.
And like????? Why do people get so mad when I stim??????
I have a weird face whenever I feel not super duper happy that makes me look very sad/tired/mad and people always ask me if I’m sad or mad and then when I tell them I’m fine they always try to go deeper and than I tell them that it’s just a tic or a stim or something that I won’t bother to find out cause it’s just my face, and they still ask me if I’m mad when I have that face.
I always crouch to where I’m almost on the floor when I go somewhere without sitting areas and people always get mad and say I’ll get sick, I’m sorry but it literally hurts my head to not do it so :/
I bounce on my heels when I’m bored or waiting for something and people call me childish for it, tell me to stop it, say I’m acting like I’m five.
I always pay attention in class and always listening, I’m just doodling because 1. I love drawing and it’s always helped me feel better 2. It helps me focus, so please don’t tell the tecaher that I’m not paying attention, Becky.
When I was a kid and we went on road trips my brother would get so mad to the point of yelling at me when I did this stim where I brushed my feet against the floor and we had a texture mat so it made noise. I also had a stim of vibrating my lips and spit would come out, it was so hard for me to stop that when my babysitter told me to.
For some reason I just. Cant eat food that’s to chewy. I mean, I can, but it’s a lot of discomfort. When I was a kid it was much worse, I would spit out steak if it wasn’t done the right way. I still feel ashamed about crying on my moms birthday when I was nine because the steak was just too chewy.
I physically can’t do school work, or at least finish it, till the very last day till it’s due.
I can’t go over to my friend who lives right besides me, and ring their doorbell with out having to stand there for what on a really bad day was once an hour. Also having to look in almost every window on their porch they have to make sure no ones watching me through the window judging me.
I have an excitement stim which is probably not what I should call but woooooooo. I just like……… do that thing that looks like a toddler having a tantrum. Putting my hands into fists and moving them up and down real quick. It the easiest to hold back but the one time I let it show I wanted to melt.
I’ve accidentally interrupted people since I was five and my parents still don’t realize that it’s a adhd thing. I just want to talk and I rarely ever talk because I’m to shy and feel like if I start I won’t stop but now that I wanna talk and I’m sure it’s not something I could rant about I wanna say it!!!!!! So badly!!!!!!! Please stop talking!!!!!!! What your syaing is interesting but as soon as I have a chance to speak I’ll forget it!!!!!!
I always forget where everything is once I’ve cleaned my room. I had a place and I put it in a new place that I thought I would remember but I can’t. I always what to take pens apart and rebuild them because it makes me feel smart. I always takes bites out of the pool tube things because it’s feel cool on my teeth and I like the sound.
I get overly excited when my friends let me tell a story for the millionth time because they know and understand that I think I have adhd.

Summary:
All the cool monsters make it to the front page of City S Newspaper. And Garou's going to join them, even if he has to kidnap a reporter to do it.
Look man I saw this funny AU post and i HAD to write this i was possessed.
As usual you can follow the link to read it or read it under the cut below.
"And so that's why i skipped the math class in my 7th grade- hey. Hey. Are you listening?"
Badd turned his head up to the voice, groggy and tired. He gave a non-committal grunt in response. The man clucked his tongue in annoyance.
"Hm. You're not writing anything down so-"
Badd raised an eyebrow at that, glaring down the man in front of him. Tall, imposing, with the most hideous hairstyle Badd's ever seen, the man loomed overhead, paused in his pacing to stare down at him.
"How the fuck am i supposed to write anything when my FUCKING HANDS ARE TIED?" Badd bellowed, fully sick and tired of this nonsense.
Personally, Badd had no clue why this bastard chose to kidnap him out of all the reporters out there. He's just self aware enough to know that he's not exactly the easiest person to get along with in general. If this dude really wanted the world to 'understand his monster aesthetic and goals through the newspaper' he'd probably get better cooperation from some mousy bumbling reporter that he can, actually, successfully intimidate.
Maybe Badd looked like an easy target because he'd been passed out after drinking with a interviewee. In his defense, the office promised to pay, and Badd was never one to turn down some day drinking.
Damn, what even happened to that guy... Did this fucker kill him when Badd got kidnapped?
The man, Garou or Gatou or Geko something like that, narrowed his eyes at him. It looked like he'd wanted to seem contemptuous and intimidating, but Badd thought it made him just look pouty, like an ill tempered child.
That dude's probably fine.
"You could've just said so then," the man snapped, reaching over.
Badd jerked back from him, the movement teethering him dangerously on the flimsy chair he was tied against.
"Ey ey, hands off bastard. This coat's Gucci and i dunno where your damn hands have been," Badd hissed.
Clearly offended, the man drew back, lips pulling back to show a sharp array of teeth. "I wash my hands you little shit."
"That's what all the crooks say."
The man looked stunned for a moment, face still stuck in that half angry half incredulous grimace, as if shocked that Badd was just being so deliberately uncooperative, when he'd gone to all this trouble of holding him hostage. Held aloft in front of him, the man's hands balled up into fists.
Briefly, Badd wondered if he was finally going to get punched.
Badd was kinda looking forward to it. Its been a while since he got punched anyway.
But instead, the man seemed to reign himself in, folding his arms and drawing up to his fullest height, lips drawn in a sneer.
"Your coat's ugly anyway. Gucci? You wasted your money on that crap."
Wow really? He's really gonna get his fashion sense roasted by a man in ratty joggers and old people slippers.
"Fuck you," Badd snarled venomously.
Gatou (no Gakou.. Garou?) raised an eyebrow, seemingly unconcerned.
"Are you mad? Over that?"
Badd struggled against his bindings, the chair screeching against the concrete as he moved.
"Seriously?"asked the man. "You weren't even that mad when you woke up tied to the chair."
Badd paused in his attempts to rip off the thick ropes to shoot the man a scathing look.
"Like hell I'm gonna listen to you insult MY coat when you're in those disgusting pants."
Now looking absolutely confused, the taller man looked down at his faded grey joggers.
"What's wrong with my pants? They're great for movement and kicking." As if to demonstrate that point, or intimidate Badd, he started kicking the air, each kick higher than before, the shock-wave blowing wind and dust into Badd's face.
Man, Badd hated guys like him. Just because they're hot they think they can care fuck all about fashion and still look good.
In this guy's case he'd be right but Badd's never gonna admit that.
Badd was about to tell him exactly where he could stick his ugly pants before the man slammed his foot down, loud and annoying.
"Wait, forget that, I still need you to continue writing that article. Where did I stop?"
Damnit, Badd was hoping he'd have forgotten that by now.
The man propped his chin against his fist, deep in thought.
Maybe if Badd was lucky he'd realise he'd told Badd every fucking insignificant detail about his (admittedly kinda sad) life story and let him go.
The man slammed his fist into his open palm in realisation. "I can't remember, so lets just take it from the start again!"
This man was going to give him a fucking aneurysm.
"What the HELL man! C'mon dude lay off it," Badd whined, writhing on the chair in annoyance.
"Maybe I'll be done faster if your sorry ass doesn't keep INTERRUPTING me," Garou snarled back, resuming his pacing as he prepared to re-recount his shitty life story.
The afternoon light that streamed through the high broken windows was starting to dim, casting long shadows across the abandoned warehouse they were in. The day was beginning to end. Zenko's going to be out of cram school soon, and she'd be waiting for him to pick her up.
It was starting to get colder too, Badd could see the puffs of air coming from his breath. Did Zenko bring her scarf?
"Hey man aren't you done yet? I gotta go soon, I need to pick my lil sis up," Badd called out to the slouching man, who had skulked a way off ahead, ranting about why elementary school kids have the propensity for cruelty.
Pausing in his tirade, he stalked back over.
"Fuck are you talking about? You're literally tied to a chair."
"Yeah I KNOW. That's why I'm asking if you're done, I need to go pick my sis up."
Shaggy white hair bouncing, Garou shook his head firmly. "What, no you can't just leave. I KIDNAPPED you."
"Yeah, I noticed. And how long are you gonna keep me here then? The fucking sun's already going down."
"Its only been three and a half hours," protested Garou, his thin face settling into its permanent scowl. "How are you going to write a good article about me if you don't know my entire backstory?"
Badd groaned loudly, head tilting back in exasperation. In front of him, the man didn't move, sharp golden eyes boring into Badd.
"If you be a good boy and listen, this will go by a lot faster, and you can be out to write that article and pick up your sister or whatever. Or, I could keep you here with me for much MUCH longer."
"Ugh..." Badd rolled his eyes at the obvious warning to behave. Really, did he LOOK like the type to just buckle down and keep quiet? After realising that Garou was still standing there, eyes alert and anticipating a response, he gave a resigned sigh.
"ALRIGHT, fucking hell, FINE," snapped Badd, a little too loudly, but the bastard smiled at that, lips pulling into a smarmy smirk that would have been ridiculously hot if Badd wasn't so ready punch him.
He really hoped Zenko brought her scarf. This was gonna take a while.
Luckily for the both of them, Badd was an expert in the sacred art of pretending to pay attention. Eyes glassy, he watched the man pace up and down, ever so often making a grunt or hum of agreement to whatever was being said.
Those pants Garou was wearing really DO look great for movement. They clung perfectly to that tight ass. Speaking of, now that Badd really got a look at him, this guy was toned to hell. He mentioned being 'the world's best martial artist' or something, but damn. That turtleneck he was wearing looked like it was on its last breath of life clinging to those muscles. Dude's lucky he's nice to look at because Badd'll be bored to death otherwise.
Night had fully fallen by the time the white haired man decided to pause for breath.
Badd hasn't been in the reporting biz long enough to be considered an expert, but he doubts that he really needed THAT much info from the guy to write an article on him. Usually, articles about villains are pretty short anyway.
Stuff like "Wanted: this bastard! Contact the Association if you have information" or "See this man? Better mind your own business and find somewhere to hide!". Short, sweet, to the point. Just what criminal warning articles are supposed to be. Where the hell was his supposed to insert the entire part about this loser getting beat up in elementary school? Badd's not a damn literary expert. He only got the job because of how hardy he was, and how dangerous journalist jobs can end up.
Maybe he can ask one of the interns to help him write it...
"Do you have all of that?" asked Garou (Badd's sure now, the fucker talked about himself as 'Garou the Human Monster' at least 11 times).
Badd nodded quickly, hoping to god that he was done talking about himself. Garou, perhaps having believed Badd's performance, perhaps simply needing a space to talk about... all that... seemed absurdly happy.
"Okay! You better write a good article!" Garou ordered, exuberant smile lighting up his usually swarthy face, making it look kinder and sweeter. Like how he might have been if he hadn't been weighed down by all that spite.
Huh, Badd thought, he was actually kinda cute.
"Right, don't move."
Never mind, scratch that.
Badd last remembers a throbbing pain on the back of his neck, as if someone had smacked him, and wakes up alone at a bus stop.
"Human Monster Gatou on the loose," read out Taero, swinging his legs on the park bench. Beside him, the white haired man peeled an eye open from where he sat slouched back on the bench, head propped up on the back.
"Whazzat? Kid, you're old enough to read properly right? Pronounce people's names right."
"Huh, but Uncle, that's what it says." Reaching over, Taero pushes the newspaper right into Garou's face for him to read it himself.
Golden eyes scanning the headline, Taero barely had time to sit back down before Garou shot up from the bench, snatching the newspaper out of his hand in the process. Wordlessly Garou stood there, newspaper crumpled in his grip, eyes boring into the page.
Taero knew that this Uncle was pretty prone to sudden and confusing mood shifts, but even for him this was kinda weird.
"It's pretty scary isn't Uncle? We should be careful," Taero says tentatively, peering at him from the safety of the bench.
"That's right. Real scary," muttered Garou, face absolutely murderous.
He can't believe that fucking reporter spelled his name wrong.
He's gonna kill him.

The Domestic Life of the Dark One and his Lady, as Observed by Emma Swan
Emma Swan had been having a very good day up until the point when she had been forced to fake her own death. To make matters worse, she’d only had six and a half minutes’ notice in which to stage her demise and to make matters even worse than that, the only person who was currently aware of her continued existence was Mr Gold, whom Emma still didn’t trust quite as far as she could throw him.
Maybe that was a bad analogy. He wasn’t exactly a large man and Emma had a very good throwing arm, even if she did say so herself, so she could probably throw him a lot further than she thought. Especially if she was annoyed with him.
Right now she couldn’t really be annoyed with him since he had just saved her life, and she was currently hiding from the rest of the town in the back of his Cadillac.
“Are you sure I can’t let my parents know that I’m all right?” she asked.
“Miss Swan, your parents are lovely people, but completely unable to keep a secret. If you let them know, everyone will be rejoicing in your survival within a couple of hours, and right now, news of you not being dead will only serve to make your assailants redouble their efforts. You’ve already seen what they’re capable of doing.”
Even though she was crouched in the back of the car, Emma could still see the smoke rising from the remains of the Sheriff’s Station. Apparently, when deprived of magic, fairy tale characters could get very creative when they wanted to kill someone and they had access to unstable chemicals at the packing plants down at the docks.
Emma sighed and looked up at the roof of the car as they took the back roads around the edge of the town towards Gold’s home. To think, half an hour ago the most serious thing she’d had to deal with was ownership disputes and the headache of people who had been kings and queens in the Enchanted Forest now attempting to turn back twenty-eight years of democracy and restore the feudalism they’d always been used to.
Regina’s curse had been broken, but there had been no big poof of magic that had taken everyone back from whence they came, and so everyone was now trying to get used to living in the Land Without Magic whilst very clearly having memories from a land with it.
Emma privately suspected that there might have been a big poof of magic, but that Gold was holding out on them for some reason. He’d taken the magic that she’d fished out of Maleficent after all, but then nothing had really come of it. All she knew was that he was hiding it very well, because both she and Regina had tried to find it and come up short. She couldn’t even get a search warrant because as Regina had pointed out, once the lynch mob outside her door had got bored and ultimately left her alone, the magic was his own property and they couldn’t really confiscate it.
Emma could only hope that whatever he was saving it for was worth it.
Being sheriff in a town full of former fairy tale characters was always going to be an interesting experience, but Emma had really not counted on the fact that in all fairy tales, there are heroes and villains. Some of the villains, like Regina and possibly Gold, although from what Emma could tell Rumpelstiltskin wasn’t really so much of an outright villain as a trickster who helped whichever side was willing to give him what he needed, appeared to be relatively genre savvy and were just accepting the changed status quo and adapting to it. Perhaps that had something to do with the fact that they’d been awake for a lot longer than anyone else.
Other villains, however, weren’t quite as adaptive, and in the wake of the curse breaking, Emma had suddenly found herself facing problems from people whom she had never faced problems from before.
For example, the judge. Sure, before he had been your stereotypical old white guy and Emma had really not held out much hope for leniency when Mary Margaret had been about to face trial, but he’d been comparatively harmless.
Man, that had been a mistake in judgement. Now he’d remembered that back in the Enchanted Forest he’d been Claude Frollo of Hunchback of Notre Dame fame, and he was trying to recreate his legal reign of terror here in Storybrooke, much to both Emma and Regina’s chagrin. All things considered, it was the constant battle against Frollo that had forced Emma and Regina to put aside their differences for a while and actually work together to stop him trying to enact some kind of hostile takeover. It didn’t help that several of the ordinary citizens who had led ordinary, mundane lives, now remembered that they’d been soldiers in a previous life, and a few of them were definitely willing to take up arms again in the name of whoever was willing to pay them.
Emma was just thankful that none of them were trained with firearms and there was a distinct shortage of swords in rural Maine.
“You know, I really don’t think that this is a good idea,” she said to Gold presently. “Why are we doing this again?”
“Because the easiest way to find out who wanted to blow you to smithereens is to let them think that they succeeded and then see what they do. Lulling them into a false sense of security always works.”
“Right.” Emma was not entirely convinced by this. “You know, I’m sure it’s Frollo, can’t I just go and arrest him now?”
“No.” Gold’s voice sounded calm and patient but Emma thought she could detect the slight hint of suppressed laughter, and she glared at him in the rearview mirror.
“He might not have been working alone,” Emma conceded. “He’s an astute guy but I’m not sure he could make homemade explosives. Now, that woman who runs the tearooms, she could certainly do it.”
“I’ve no doubt that you’re correct, but shall we wait and see what happens next, Sheriff?”
Emma gave a huff of frustration. “How do I know that you didn’t do it?”
“Because I have absolutely nothing to gain from you being scattered in several pieces all over Storybrooke,” Gold said. “Besides, if I wanted to get rid of you I’ve got at least seven different methods that are far quicker and cleaner and I would have used them by now.”
“That’s not at all comforting, Gold. You really don’t tell someone that kind of thing when you’re about to hide them in your home.”
Gold just chuckled, which did nothing to reassure Emma in the slightest.
“Can I get up yet?” she grumbled. “I can see that we’re out of the town centre. No-one’s going to see me.”
“Yes, all right. As amusing as it is to see you concertinaed in the back there, I can appreciate that it’s not the most comfortable of positions. We’re almost there.”
Emma struggled into a more upright position and peered out of the window. Gold lived on a quiet street in the most upmarket part of the town - go figure - and she was right in thinking that there was no-one about. This place was the home of all the minor nobility with whom Regina had had no quarrel in the old world; they had simply been transplanted from one life of moderate luxury to another one, and Emma had, thankfully, never had any trouble with them apart from the odd standard middle-class complaint about parking restrictions being violated or loud dogs barking. She didn’t think that any of them would pay any attention to what was going on in the pink house; now that everyone had remembered exactly who Rumpelstiltskin was, the majority of the sensible part of the population was giving him a rather wide berth.
Emma was a little surprised to see the front door open seemingly of its own accord, and then Belle’s head peeped out from around it.
It wasn’t that Emma had forgotten about Belle, per se. It was more that she hadn’t really had time to process the young woman’s existence, what with everything else that had been going on in the town at the time. She wasn’t there one minute and she was there the next, and she had reunited with Gold in much the same way as everyone else had reunited with their loved ones now that the curse had been broken.
There was some vague notion in the back of her mind that this must be the girl that Gold had beaten up Moe French over back when that had happened, and the fact that she’d honestly never come across the woman in the town before the curse break had raised a few alarm bells. Other than that, Emma was happy to just accept her for who she was and leave it at that. Henry had tried to explain her significance with the aid of his story book, but Emma had been trying to stop a crowd from mobbing the mayor’s office at the time so she hadn’t been paying too much attention.
“I’m glad that you’re all right,” Belle said once they were all inside the house, Gold having kept a furtive lookout for any curtain twitching in the vicinity. “You can see the smoke even from here, it must have been a very impressive explosion.”
It had been. Emma’s ears were still ringing as a result of it. She shook her head in disbelief. This was a town filled with fairy tale characters designed as some kind of sleepy backwater sort-of paradise. There should not have been any exploding sheriff’s stations to contend with.
“I’m glad that you’re all right too,” Belle added to Gold, smiling as he slipped an arm around her waist and greeted her with a kiss.
“It’ll take more than that to get rid of me,” he assured her.
Belle just laughed, and Emma found herself gawping unashamedly at the tenderness of their interaction. It was as if, in the split second it took him to walk through the door, Gold had become a completely different person. There was a depth of love in his eyes that had definitely not been there before, and considering their rather antagonistic history together, she definitely wouldn’t have thought him capable of such emotion. This man was meant to be a scourge; her own parents had kept him locked up, for crying out loud. He was, or at least had been, a dark magician of the highest order, and yet here he was, completely and absolutely besotted. She’d never felt more like a third wheel in her life, but there was something so intense about what she was seeing that Emma really didn’t want to draw attention to her presence and ruin the moment. It was almost mesmerising.
Belle broke the shared gaze and moved away towards the stairs.
“I’ll get the guest room ready for Emma if you start on dinner?”
“Of course, sweetheart.”
Emma was pretty sure that she was dreaming and would have been convinced of the fact had it not been for the smell of smoke emanating from her jacket.
Finding herself alone in the hallway, Gold having disappeared into the kitchen, and still wondering at the state of her reality, Emma slowly followed Belle up the stairs. She’d been in Gold’s home before, searching for an intruder after Moe French had broken in, but she’d never been able to get a good nosy look at it before now. It was absolutely crammed to the rafters with antiques and relics, and she wondered how much of it had come through from the Enchanted Forest with him like the articles in the shop. None of it looked particularly otherworldly though, just expensive and tasteful, so maybe he’d just got it in his deal with Regina for a comfortable life in this world.
Belle was in what was obviously the guest room, pulling sheets and blankets out of the ottoman at the end of the bed and putting pillowcases on.
“I’m still not used to the kitchen appliances,” she said by way of explanation, “but there’s not much change in bed linen between worlds. I’m far more at home with cleaning and laundry than I am cooking. Not that I was all that much of a cook beforehand, as Rumpel will no doubt attest.”
Emma came over to give her a hand; it felt wrong not to help out in some way since she had unceremoniously arrived in Belle’s home with very little notice and now needed a bed for the night and a hiding place for however long it might take to catch the villains who wanted her dead.
“Don’t you have twenty-eight years of experience with this world’s kitchen appliances?” she asked nonchalantly.
Belle shook her head, and her warm expression faltered into one of sadness.
“I have no memories of Storybrooke,” she said quietly. “I was in the hospital… I don’t have cursed memories like everyone else does. This is all new to me.” The corner of her mouth quirked up a brief smile. “I like to think of it as an adventure in a new place, and Rumpel is my faithful guide through it all.”
Well, that definitely explained why Gold had been so intent on causing Regina some kind of bodily harm in the immediate aftermath of the curse breaking. If Belle had been in the hospital with no memories for the entirety of the curse then it would be Regina who had put her there. She glanced sideways at Belle as she smoothed down the sheets and stood back to admire her handiwork. She was quite possibly the most harmless person she’d ever met, and it was a chilling thought to realise that she’d probably been locked up simply because of her relationship with Gold.
Still, they were together again now, and it was quite clear that they were not going to let anything else get in between them. Emma decided that it would be a good idea to change the subject. She did wonder just what the relationship was between the two of them. The sheer depth of love that they both displayed for each other made her think that they’d been very close in the Enchanted Forest, but there was the tenderness of new lovers there as well.
“So… I take it that this isn’t your room?” she began.
Belle blushed.
“No. Rumpel and I… Well, he did give me this room at first, but I kept having nightmares about the hospital and, well, you know, one thing led to another. I feel safer sleeping with him.”
“Hey, no-one’s going to judge you here. I guess that’s one definite advantage to being transplanted to modern day non-magical Maine. Much less stigma attached to pre-marital relations.”
Belle bit her lip, her cheeks still very pink. Her train of thought was obvious and Emma really didn’t want to follow it. Getting an insight into Belle and Gold’s relationship was one thing but she didn’t actually want to know all that much about their sex life. They continued to make the bed in silence, and Emma fell to thinking about the events that had just transpired. By now, the news would have spread around the entire town, and even those who had managed to miss the huge bang and billowing plume of smoke would know what was going on. Right now, everyone would be wondering what was going on and whether she had survived, trying to get hold of her for that reassurance. Emma’s stomach began to churn, and she sat down heavily on the ottoman as she thought of what the rest of the town must be going through whilst she was safe and sound and hidden in Gold’s house.
“Hey.” Belle came and perched beside her. “It’s ok. You’ve just had a very traumatic experience. Do you want to talk about it?”
Emma shook her head. “I don’t know what there is to talk about. I don’t know what to say. It’s not every day that someone plans your assassination. And you survive it. And no-one else knows that you survived it other than two people.”
Gold had said that Mary Margaret and David wouldn’t be able to keep a secret, but Henry had been secret-keeper for the entire town for an incredibly long time, and out of everyone, he was the one that she really needed to tell. She’d left her phone in the station, not having had time to grab it when Gold had told her to make a run for it if she didn’t want to get blown to smithereens.
“Belle, do you have a cell phone? I’ve got to let Henry know I’m ok. I don’t care if it scuppers Gold’s plan for flushing out the assassins. I have to tell him.”
“Sure, I’ll get it.” Belle left the room, and Emma felt a great weight lift off her shoulders.
In the wake of the curse-breaking and several people remembering the feuds they’d had with either Regina or Snow White and Charming over the years, it had been unanimously decided that Henry, despite his comparatively young age, needed a cell phone in case someone decided that he was an excellent target to use as leverage.
Belle returned with her purse and took out an old Nokia, handing it over.
“Rumpel gave it to me just in case,” she said. “As much as it’s taking me a little while to get used to the kitchen technology, I do like experimenting with all the gadgets.”
Emma had to smile at Belle’s bright enthusiasm and acceptance of the new and quite scary modern world that she had unceremoniously found herself in, and she began the painstaking process of using the ancient phone to tap out a message to Henry.
Henry, this is Mom, IM OK! U hav 2 keep scrt tho dont tell any1.
Her heart lifted as a response came a couple of minutes later.
I knew it! Glad you’re ok, I’ll keep quiet. Mom & grandma & grandpa already suspect you got out and are lying low. Operation Barbecue is on! Stay safe!
Emma sighed and handed the phone back to Belle, who giggled at the message.
“Someone needs to tell that boy he has incredibly poor taste.”
She felt a lot lighter now that she knew that Henry knew she was safe and that her parents had hope for her survival even if she hadn’t contacted them. She knew that she could trust Henry not to tell anyone else, and she liked to think that she could trust Belle not to snitch on her to Gold. However strange the method might be, she was beginning to have a little confidence that everything would turn out to a satisfactory conclusion in the end.
Belle left the room quietly and Emma was alone with her thoughts for a while. She thought about the many happy couples that had been separated by the curse and had only now come back together again. At least in most cases they had been able to see each other around the town and know retrospectively that they’d been all right throughout the curse, even if they hadn’t been together. Belle and Gold didn’t have that comfort.
She shook herself out of that train of thought and made her way back downstairs. There wasn’t exactly much point in her settling into her room, she hopefully wouldn’t be there for very long and she hadn’t exactly packed a bag in all the commotion. She considered asking Belle for some pyjamas to borrow but considering the not insignificant height difference, she didn’t have much hope of anything of Belle’s fitting her. Plus there was the fact that Belle really didn’t look like a pyjama sort of person, if her everyday wardrobe was anything to go by. She seemed more of a lacy nightie type, and lingerie was definitely not something that should be shared. Especially not if it had likely already shared a bed with Gold.
Emma pushed that image very firmly out of her head.
Gold turned out to be a pretty decent cook, although having lived by himself for twenty-eight years and not starved to death, that was probably a given. Dinner was a pasta dish with creamy tomato sauce, although Emma still couldn’t reconcile the fact that an hour ago she had just barely escaped a raging fireball and now she was sitting down to a polite meal with Gold and his girlfriend.
Of all the things that she couldn’t get her head around, Emma found that the thing she found the strangest was just how tactile they were. Her brain had decided to set aside the explosions and murder attempts and fixate on the little touches that were passing between Belle and Gold. They were constantly brushing against each other as they moved around the kitchen, light touches to each other’s hands and arms. Perhaps on any other couple it would be unnerving - and it was slightly weird just how much they seemed to touch - but somehow Belle and Gold managed to make it look sweet and endearing. They gave the impression of a couple that was long established and yet still in their honeymoon period at the same time, and Emma found herself wondering exactly what their relationship had been like back in the Enchanted Forest. She was acutely aware that she was something of a third wheel here, not through any fault of her own, but that didn’t stop her feeling out of place and like she was intruding on something important and meaningful that she didn’t fully get yet.
Above everything though, however overly touchy-feely they might be, they seemed really, genuinely happy, and Emma found herself sincerely hoping that they would remain so.
X
Emma didn’t think it was too unreasonable that she couldn’t sleep considering everything that had happened to her that afternoon. She’d excused herself to bed pretty soon after dinner; feeling ever more like the gooseberry in Belle and Gold’s romance and not wanting to get in the way when it was clear that they weren’t accustomed to outside observers and obviously wanted to get a lot closer than they were. She was grateful that they’d put her up for the night, but whilst they had been forced to work together, she and Gold were not really friends and however lovely and welcoming Belle might be, no-one wanted things to be awkward.
Without her phone she had no idea how late it was, but she thought it was still pretty early. She hadn’t heard Belle and Gold come up the stairs, and as she crept out onto the landing, she saw that the lights were still on.
She tiptoed down the stairs, winging up a prayer that they weren’t having sex in the kitchen. She couldn’t hear any untoward noises coming from any of the rooms, just the sound of low conversation, and she was incredibly grateful, grabbing a glass of water and making to go back to her room without further ado.
The living room door was slightly ajar as she passed it, and against her better judgement, she had to take a peek inside.
Gold and Belle were sitting together on the sofa, curled up so close that there couldn’t have been any oxygen between them. They weren’t looking at each other, they were seemingly engrossed in the Law and Order rerun on the TV, but they had to be aware of that intense closeness. They weren’t staring longingly into each others’ eyes and they weren’t getting handsy and feeling each other up now that they didn’t have an audience, but there was a much deeper intimacy at play, tactile rather than visual, enjoying the sheer togetherness.
In a strange kind of way, they reminded Emma of her own parents, a solid and strong relationship rekindled. If there was one thing that had been instilled in Emma over the couple of months that she had been in Storybrooke and Henry had been giving her lessons in his fairy tale book, it was that her parents shared true love, and it was for this reason that she herself was - or at least was supposed to be - the saviour and so powerful, with the ability to break the curse.
It certainly looked like Gold and Belle shared that same true love. She didn’t want to think about them having kids just yet though.
There was nothing to be gained from watching them from the shadows like a creeper, and Emma made her way silently back upstairs to the guest room, lying in the dark for a long time, a single thought drifting through her subconscious as she nodded off.
It Rumpelstiltskin, of all people, could find true love, then surely she could too.
X
The next morning found Emma slightly confused when she woke to find herself in a very unfamiliar bedroom. For the briefest of moments she wondered if she’d got hilariously drunk the previous evening and wandered into the wrong house by mistake, but this notion was quickly dismissed by the lack of a hangover and the knowledge that no matter how drunk she might have got in the past, she’d never yet mistaken her own address.
Once she got her eyes open fully, the memories quickly returned and she found herself staring up at the ceiling of Gold’s spare room, letting the knowledge that most of the rest of the town thought she was dead sink in. It was quite a sobering thought.
Well, perhaps they didn’t think she was dead. There was always the chance that she had survived the explosion and got out of the building in time. If anyone went poking about in the wreckage then they wouldn’t find any human remains. David would probably have already taken a look and she liked to think that the fact there was no obvious evidence of her inside would have proved encouraging for him and Mary Margaret. If there was one thing that they were both good at, it was holding onto hope in the most difficult of circumstances.
Still, there was nothing to be gained from staring at the ceiling contemplating her own existence and feeling incredibly guilty about the pain that her friends and family were going through, not knowing whether she was ok or not. The sooner she got out of bed, the sooner she could corner Gold and get him to help her find out what the hell was going on and who the hell had tried to kill her, and the sooner she could reunite with her worried friends.
She got out of bed and pulled yesterday’s clothes back on, finger-combing her hair. She had no doubt that Belle would lend her a hairbrush if she asked, but something made her not want to. She already felt enough of a third wheel in the house, and she just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. It wasn’t that Belle and Gold’s relationship made her uncomfortable, although it was weird to see him so soft and loving. It was just that they were so content together and so happy as a duo that she didn’t want anything to intrude on that calmness and tranquility, least of all herself. The pink house had turned into a safe haven away from everything that was going on in the town and having seen Belle and Gold be so at home here, Emma wanted to keep it that way. The longer she stayed, the more she was bringing the woes of the outside world in with her.
She made her way downstairs towards the kitchen, finding that Belle and Gold were already there, fully-dressed and ready to start the day. She must have slept later than she thought; nearly getting killed must really take it out of you.
It was a quaint domestic scene: Gold in his apron standing at the stove making eggs, and Belle watching over the toaster. Presently it popped up and she put the slices in the toast rack before grabbing another couple of slices of bread. She glanced over at the door, perhaps sensing that someone was watching her, and smiled.
“Good morning,” she said. “Did you sleep well?”
It seemed a strange thing to say to someone who was nearly blown up the day before, but in hindsight it was probably the best thing in the circumstances. Best to try and maintain some semblance of normalcy, after all.
“Yes, thank you.”
“Good morning, Miss Swan.” Gold slipped the eggs out of the pan onto a dish and set them on the table. “Help yourself to coffee.”
Not entirely sure that she wasn’t still dreaming, Emma went over to the coffee pot and poured herself a mug. She was in the home of the great (albeit not currently magically enabled) sorcerer and trickster Rumpelstiltskin, and she couldn’t get over just how mundane everything was. How utterly and completely everyday and non-threatening.
“Toast?” Belle offered. “The toaster was the first thing in the kitchen I learned how to use. I don’t burn it anymore.”
Gold chuckled. “The smoke alarm took a bit of a beating the first time you made toast on your own, didn’t it?”
Belle rolled her eyes and grabbed the piece of toast he’d taken out of his hand.
“There’ll be no toast for you if you don’t learn to appreciate my toast-making abilities,” she said. “You ought to be proud of my accomplishments in mastering strange technology here.”
“I’m very proud.” He kissed her cheek and stole his toast back, neither of them caring about Emma watching them, half-asleep and bug-eyed in disbelief. Surely this was all a dream.
Sipping her coffee and contemplating her toast and eggs, accepting the surreal reality of the situation, Emma was gradually coming to a huge realisation. Despite what she might think of Gold, and her repeated mantra that she did not entirely trust him, he evidently trusted her, enough to let her into his home and display the full extent of his feelings for Belle.
It was clear that their relationship had been used against him to Belle’s cost in the past, and yet Gold trusted her enough to allow her to see it, which meant that he implicitly trusted her not to use it against him like some others would have done in the past. Sitting here witnessing this quiet and homely domesticity was a privilege that would be extended to very few others, if anyone at all.
Maybe it was because she was the prophesied saviour and she’d broken the curse and allowed him and Belle to reunite. Maybe it was something else. But now that she was here and had been allowed into this inner sanctum, she felt duty bound to protect it. What she was being permitted to see was for her eyes only. Yes, the rest of the town knew about Belle and from the amount of time that the two of them spent together it was clear that they were close. Just how close, and how obviously in love they were, well, that was something to be kept more between the two of them.
Emma felt no desire to share the discovery with anyone. It would be a disservice to Belle, at the very least. For a woman with no memories and twenty-eight years’ worth of hazy imprisonment, she had happily let Emma into the only place in Storybrooke that she could call home and feel safe in. The last thing that she wanted to do was place her in some kind of danger by proxy due to her association with Rumpelstiltskin.
It was perfectly possible and indeed probable that Gold had some kind of ulterior motive in rescuing her from her fate and giving her this hospitality. He hadn’t mentioned any favours yet, but it was likely that she would find herself reminded of this incident in the future if something happened which would require her to take sides.
For the moment she would accept it, just grateful to be alive at the end of it all. She already owed him one favour that he hadn’t collected yet; she could add one more to the list and all things considered, he had saved her life and hadn’t exactly given her any choice in the matter.
But Emma was fairly sure that Belle had no such compunctions and had just opened up her home out of the goodness of her heart. Emma couldn’t repay her kindness by being cavalier about her safety. For as long as it was in her power, the depth of the love between Belle and Gold would remain Emma’s closely guarded secret.
Breakfast continued in a companionable quiet, and Emma continued to observe the easy intimacy between the two of them that they had shown the previous evening, finally seeing the constant touching, the brushing of fingers, for what it really was; a reassurance that after such a long separation, they were both there together; they were both real. Belle started to talk about her plans for the day, taking a look at the boarded-up library with a view to getting it started again. Emma decided not to mention the hopefully deceased dragon in the basement.
They were really quite sweet to watch, Emma thought, once she’d got over the initial shock of trying to match up her previous impressions of Gold with the one she now had in front of her. They gave her a kind of warm, fuzzy feeling inside. After so long of the David-Kathryn-Mary Margaret problem whilst the curse had still been in place, it was nice to see that couples were quickly reuniting and becoming established again, no matter how unorthodox or unexpected those couples might be.
Soon enough, though, the meal was finished and plates were being cleared. It was time to leave the happy domestic nest and face their problems head on.
Gold gave her a wry smile.
“All right, Miss Swan. Shall we discover who tried to kill you?”
X
Trying to conduct a police investigation when the local police station was currently a pile of charred and smoking ruins was never going to be the easiest of endeavours, and Emma was privately very impressed that they’d managed it.
Frollo and the seemingly harmless old woman who ran the tearoom (and who was keeping rather tight-lipped about her fairy tale identity, leaving Emma to think that she had simply been a disgruntled peasant wanting to express indignation at all the trouble that the royals had caused over the years) had indeed been responsible for the explosion, just as Emma had predicted.
They hadn’t really planned their attack all that well and the logistical difficulties of not having a sheriff’s station anymore aside, it hadn’t been too hard to gather evidence that would stick. Of course, getting arrest warrants and all that kind of thing when the person you were trying to get warrants against was the judge who would ultimately sign them was an entirely different matter, and Emma was currently massaging her temples to try and get rid of the headache that had been plaguing her for the last two days.
The sheriff’s station was out of action for the foreseeable future. Regina was in the process of approving the budget to get it rebuilt but the insurance was proving a problem, especially since Storybrooke didn’t really exist outside of its own little bubble and the insurance company were having a hard enough time believing that there was such a town and that it had a sheriff’s station let alone that it had been blown up by a pair of angry middle-aged professionals for seemingly no reason beyond wanting the villains of their stories to get happy endings for once.
Emma had set up a temporary office in the town hall, which was useful whenever she needed to go and have words with Regina, but not so useful for keeping suspects locked up. As loath as she had been to use the secure ward under the hospital after learning what had happened to Belle, it was really the only option, even if it did mean that Emma had to take a scenic tour of the town every time she needed to question her suspects. The fact that DA Spencer had now remembered that he had previously been a king wasn’t helping matters either. Emma had to wonder if some of the townsfolk had, upon regaining their memories of the Enchanted Forest, forgotten the immediately preceding twenty-eight years and what they’d done during them.
She shook her head with a sigh, putting aside all the paperwork relating to the case. It occurred to her that she probably shouldn’t be investigating her own attempted murder, but there wasn’t really anyone else that she could pass it on to. The trials of small town life and being unable to bring anyone in from outside. It was time to stop for the day, and go and meet up with Henry at Granny’s. None of it was going to go anywhere. Whatever strange magic was keeping everyone inside the town took care of that.
As she approached the diner, she saw two familiar figures coming out of it. Belle and Gold were arm in arm; Gold’s coat draped over Belle’s shoulders as they made their way from the diner back towards the pawn shop where the Cadillac was parked. They didn’t notice her approaching, both too completely besotted in each other to pay anything else any mind. She wondered if she ought to warn them that they were about to cross a road; she really didn’t want to have to deal with two lovebirds getting themselves run over, especially not when she hadn’t had any dinner yet.
Thankfully they made it across the road without incident, and Emma stopped outside the diner to watch them for a moment. The sweetness that there had been between them when they had been in private in their own home was still there, maybe a little more understated than it had been before, but nevertheless making it obvious that they were together and that they would remain so for a long time to come. Gold opened the passenger door for Belle and she handed his coat back to him, but before she got in, she leaned in to kiss his cheek; a kiss that ended up a much more passionate one on the lips.
Emma couldn’t help but smile. Of all the people to have found true love in true fairy tale fashion, Gold was probably at the bottom of her list of candidates, but it just went to show that absolutely anything was possible. And if he made Belle happy, which he obviously did, well, Emma would make sure that nothing came between them.
“It’s really quite something, isn’t it?”
Emma startled; she hadn’t heard Granny come out of the diner behind her to clear one of the outdoor tables. The older woman nodded across the road towards Belle and Gold as they got into the car and drove away.
“Yes,” Emma agreed. “Despite everything, I just get the overwhelming urge to protect them.”
“Believe me, you’re not the only one.” Granny’s smile was crafty, and in that moment Emma received the distinct impression that Granny would make an excellent deputy should she fancy a career change. “Everyone thinks that I’ve got my crossbow out to deter intruders, which is certainly true, but if I see anyone attempting to get between those two, well…”
She left the rest of the sentence unsaid, but Emma could understand her sentiments perfectly. There was definitely more to Gold than met the eye, and it was clear that Belle was going to be the one to bring it out. In that moment, Emma could only wish them every happiness together.
Even if she still didn’t really trust Rumpelstiltskin as far as she could throw him.

meta: santana + school/academics
always  accepting  //  send  me  meta  to  talk  about !
again,  talking about a topic that glee unfortunate never tackled correctly is difficult . in the show, they make santana seem more driven towards her future as a hollywood star than in her academic performance , however contradictory her approach towards both ends of the career spectrum was. in 3x12 the spanish teacher, santana is very clear to will about her view of her academic life: “this is my education and its not a joke to me although it seems to be one for you”, before she criticizes him for perpetuating stereotypes not actually knowing enough spanish to teach a class properly. later, in 3x16, schue and sue team up to lead santana, mercedes, and finn in the right direction. santana makes her peers believe that she “wants to be a star” and doesn’t wanna go to college, though later she receives an acceptance letter to the university of kentucky with a cheerleading scholarship. she’s happy to accept, naturally.
unfortunately, this blog is canon divergent, and as someone who has played santana for so long, i refuse to believe she’s anything but ambitious and fierce. that girl always has a plan. if she can craft schemes with multiple steps, angles, and possible outcomes to mess with the heads of her peers, she definitely has a plan to get out of lima, and its not just an envelope full of cash her mother could’ve used to buy a lexus convertible.
one : general  academics
no one’s academic performance except mike and quinn’s are really talked about in depth in the show. we know mike is an A+ student and quinn has a 4.0 GPA, but what about santana? clearly she needs at least a B average to be in the cheerios, especially captain of the cheer leading squad. though, i’m not gonna pander to my preferences and say santana was top of her class, i will say she was probably somewhere in the top five, perhaps third, after mike or quinn. she’s smart, she’s cunning, she goes after what she wants, and she’s always known that her best bet to get out of lima is her education.
she was always good at almost everything, she liked to read (though not always things from her high school reading list), but like any other high school student, she excelled in some areas and struggled in others.
math was her strong suit. she was taking advanced math classes with mike and quinn since the 10th grade. it always came easy to her. literature, she enjoyed, so it wasn’t hard for her, it came naturally. in the sciences, it would depend on the subject in hand. physics she could handle, it was just a bunch of math applied in a different field. chemistry and biology were a little harder, probably because of her general disinterest in the subject. her dad always encouraged her to like science, it was only natural from a father who practiced medicine for a living, but it was never her forte. she got A’s, but she only took honors physics and settled for regular chemistry and biology classes.
spanish classes were a joke. she could sleep through mr. schuester trying to conjugate verbs and form sentences, she knew more spanish than him anyway. she never had to study for that class. it was the easiest A+ she ever received in high school. if she could’ve taken advanced spanish classes in william mckinley, she probably would have, just to boost her GPA.
the times she didn’t study (like when she stayed up past curfew after attending a party or school events, or putting cheerleading competitions over her tests) she would get B’s. she wasn’t a perfect student, no. not pristine like quinn, who probably got A’s in everything she ever did, but she was good. smart. thriving.
two : extracurricular  activities
in primary school and middle school it was ballet and gymnastics. it was fine to play soccer when she was a little girl, because when children are young they don’t make fun of each other for the sports they play. she kicked ass at it, but never wanted to be a varsity soccer player. she wanted kickboxing, but her dad never offered to enroll her in a martial arts class until she was already signed up for the cheerios, at which point, she was far too busy running drills in cheer camp to care about it anymore. besides, cheer leading was as good as any other sport, sometimes even more exhausting.
it wasn’t just about core strength (holding the other team members up in a lift) or balance (trying not to fall from the top of the cheer pyramid), it was about flexibility and mobility, about committing to something that would not only bring her the popularity she wanted, but being a part of something, even if it meant serving the tyrant sue sylvester. the fact that she was never clumsy also helped. it was almost like gymnastics with the volume turned up.
glee club didn’t come until sophomore year, obviously. she never thought about joining it, especially not with sandy ryerson as the vocal coach, who not only was a little too touchy and inappropriate with the students, but he always smelled like pot and was never interested in the club in the first place. she’s pretty sure puck used to get his chronic lady from him under the bleachers once a week. he never said anything when he found them sharing a pipe after hours, and she never said anything about him selling medicinal marijuana to the students, but it wasn’t a surprise when he was fired either. he was weird and glee club was for losers, burnouts, and wannabes, and santana was on top of the social food chain.
during her senior year, she contemplated starting a GSA, knowing her fellow glee clubbers and some of the cheerios would be down for joining, but putting that amount of pressure on herself withdrew her from trying to take that huge step. brittany was president, which was a step in the right direction, but knowing the town they lived in and the school she went to, there was no way a gay straight alliance was gonna fly in mckinley.
three : college  applications, requirements, and  college  life
santana has always wanted to be powerful, she likes the spotlight and she likes the attention. most importantly, she wanted to go somewhere in life, she wanted to prove to everybody that she wasn’t all bark and no bite. she applied for three universities to enroll in the fall after her senior year: cornell, nyu, and pace university (her safety school). she thought about checking out west, ucla and san diego, but ultimately she saw a brighter future in new york than she did in california. what really wowed was her essay, on a life changing experience -- she poured her soul and heart into talking about coming out in a midwestern town with the pressure of being socially accepted among homophobes and racists. she talked about glee club, and how it changed her life (that would also cater to show her other talents apart from her good grades), how she became a better person because of it. of course, a 1950 on her SAT’s and a 3.9 GPA never hurt anyone.
college was always a big thing in her family -- her dad was a stanford graduate, and although realistically, doctor lopez would’ve loved for santana to pursue med school as well, santana never saw her future behind the boring, white walls of a hospital. she wanted to live, and sacrificing her life for the sleepless hours of med school and internships and residencies would never fulfill her. she took the public relations program as her major with a minor in communications to become a publicist and crisis manager.
despite the amount of time it required for her to graduate top of her class, she took a small job on the side, singing in lounge bars and weddings to pay for extra commodities aside from the money her dad sent her every month to cover rent and general expenses.

I’ve Been Wishing For You
Tumblr media
aww hell yeah. i added in a teensy bit of spaceboy!dan becuase i live for that shit ;))))
also phil has a tattoo but hes not a punk lets be cleAR
-
Phil had always loved the rain.
He didn’t like being caught in it, but he loved the comfortable atmosphere of being curled up in blankets as the rain poured outside. Especially when he was at work.
Owning a flower/plant/coffee shop wasn’t the easiest, but why would Phil ever do anything that was easy? He loved what he did. He loved the people that came in, his regulars.
Phil’s shop was really unique, especially being on the corner of a busy street in the heart of London. It was white on the outside, with vines growing on the walls, with the logo, that Phil designed himself, painted onto the window. He had flowers growing in pots on all eight tables, with even more bins filled with various plants, succulents, and mosses. This was his passion.
The shop smelled strongly of the outdoors, which you don’t smell very often in London, and soft whiff of coffee. Not only did he make flower and plant arrangements, but he also served some of the best coffee served in London, which had turned the place into a cafe as well.
Phil was so successful with his business, he had employees working full time, and the regulars had started giving him reviews on Yelp, which were fantastic. His business was booming, not one moment of the day was quiet around him.
But Phil wasn’t happy.
Of course, he was happy that his dream had finally come true, but he wasn’t satisfied with what his life had become. His job was his life, and that’s not the ‘dream’ Phil had in mind. When he was just getting started, he dreamed of having a family work alongside him, making the place more personal, more appealing to families. But he was 29 now, and hadn’t dated anyone in three years.
He wanted the life of one of his regulars, Dan.
Dan was an astronomy major in Uni, and had a teaching degree. He taught year fives about the stars, and planets, and at twenty five years old. He came in after school had let out every day, and ordered the same caramel latte, and sat to grade papers. Or well, put ‘good job!’ and ‘amazing work!’ stickers on the margins. The handwriting was almost too messy to read, but it was an A for effort.
Dan seemed so happy with what his life had become, and Phil was jealous. Since Dan had been coming in regularly, they had gotten to know each other quite well. Dan was the only real friend Phil had in his life anymore, and he wasn’t going to let go of him anytime soon.
Now, although Phil hated to admit it, he was actually head over heels for Dan. He couldn’t quite explain what it was, maybe the curls the swept to the left on his head, or how long and awkward he was, or the way his brown eyes would light up whenever he talked about what he was passionate about. Phil found Dan to be quite the most gorgeous human he had ever come in contact with.
Phil always looked forward to three thirty, because that was the time Dan would always show up. He made sure to have a caramel latte hot n ready for Dan’s arrival, and two freshly cut peonies to have on Dan’s table. They were Dan’s favorite flower, due to the fact that Phil had them on the table the first time Dan went to the shop. And ever since Phil had basically fallen for Dan, he never failed to give him peonies. But could you blame Phil? The flowers stood for romance, he couldn’t help himself than to woo Dan over with them. He hasn’t picked up on the symbolism, yet.
So Phil was mindlessly tapping his fingers on the counter, listening to the soft patter of rain hitting the windows, and pavement outside. The clock read three twenty three, and Phil was waiting in anticipation for the brunet to burst through the doors with damp hair, his face flushed, and a smile. His day was quite boring, after the morning rush nobody really came in, other than teenagers who skipped school, or unemployed adults that are either homeless, or stay at home parents. Around lunch time, the second rush of the day, he dealt with the busy, rushed business people, until it calmed own again. So here he is.
A woman was sitting with a stroller next to her, with, who he assumed, to be a friend she was catching up with. They were talking about how one of them was getting ready to adopt a third child, and the other was thinking of getting pregnant again. They couldn’t have been five years older than Phil, and had families, lives, and here Phil was. Plants were his family.
Not that he didn’t love plants. Fuck, he had vines tattooed up his left arm, as a sleeve. It was the only tattoo he had, the only one he wanted. People thought it was weird that this nerdy guy who owned a hybrid of a coffee shop and florist had a tattoo. But Phil loved destroying stereotypes.
“Yeah, Cam is starting year six this year, and I don’t know if I’m ready for my baby to be growing up so fast. Its just so weird you know?” Phil listened in, sighing.
The bell dinged, making Phil’s ears perk up, looking over at the door and seeing the man he had been waiting for. He was closing his umbrella, leaning it against the wall. Dan turned around when he shrugged off his rain coat, smiling when he saw Phil.
“It costs extra for you to occupy that space for your umbrella, you know.” Phil said, beginning to make Dan’s drink. Dan chuckled, fixing his fringe.
“Well, I’ll have to file a complaint for umbrella discrimination. My umbrella will leave a zero out of five star rating on yelp for this disgraceful business.” Dan smiled, leaning against the counter, resting on his crossed arms.
“I’m sorry to break it to you, but your umbrella doesn’t have opposable thumbs. I don’t think it would be able to figure out how to type.” Phil joked, handing Dan the mug of coffee. Dan gave Phil his card, but Phil declined.
“What?” Dan asked, not grabbing the mug until Phil took his card to pay.
“It’s on me today.” Phil smiled, he motioned for somebody to cover the till, as he walked around to the front of the counter. Dan smiled, thanking Phil as he took the mug.
“Would you care to join me as a strategically place stickers on these papers?” Dan asked, swinging his backpack next to the small table that he always sat at. The peonies rested on the table, and Dan picked them both up and set them in the vase that was at the edge. Like he always did.
“I would love to.” Phil slid into the seat across from Dan, taking off his apron and draping it on the back of his chair.
“I had the most crazy day today. My kids were all buzzing with excitement because the thunder was so loud.” Dan started, he pulled out his binder full of papers he needed to ‘grade’. He was surprised to see the thick stack of papers, and the small stack of stickers he had. Phil laughed. “But I guess they were like that in all their classes, the other year four teachers had the same problem.”
“So it was a stressful day, then?”
“No, I bullshitted the entire lesson. It’s not like they were paying attention. These papers are from the warm up I require every day. Year six teachers are getting more strict about that, so I’m trying to prepare them for it next year.” Dan took a sip of his coffee, peeling stickers off the sheet, having one on his five fingers. He placed one down, then moved on to the next assignment, repeat.
“How do they know if they did well?” Phil chuckled, grabbing half the stack of papers, and a sticker sheet. He might as well help, it would be kind of rude to just watch Dan work while Phil was literally slacking off at his own job. Good job he was his own boss, he guessed.
“We grade them in class. But one time I tried telling them to just keep the warm ups in their completed folder, and they got really offended that I wasn’t going to put stickers on them.”
“Is astronomy the only thing you teach?”
“No. I have to teach all sorts of science, but I like to focus on astronomy, because well, fuck it. I love it. I’m not so good at everything else, though.”
“Maybe I can help out with botany. Because, everyone knows I don’t know shit about plants.” Phil’s tone was sarcastic, because well, fucking look at him. Of course he knew everything about plants.
“Oh yeah, because children really care about having the knowledge that cabbage is 91 percent water contents.”
Phil leaned over the table, smacking Dan, making them both laugh. He looked up to Cleo, who was working the till, seeing her devilish smile at him. Cleo knew about Phil’s little, well, obsession, and has been trying to hook them up forever now. Phil didn’t know exactly what she did to Dan, but she put Phil through hell. She wouldn’t let him forget about Dan any second of the day.
Mistakenly, Dan had told her he was gay before he and Phil were close, and Phil just had a ridiculous teenage crush on him, and that spiraled and entire conversation about why you should totally just go for it Phil he told me to my face he likes dick so go while the window is open.
And now look, Phil had finally gotten the courage to go sit with Dan, without even thinking about it. Something was different today, but Phil couldn’t quite pin it.
“Do you do this at home as well?” Phil asked, trying to spark up a conversation. Dan laughed.
“Oh god no. When I get home it’s literally just lesson planning. This is the most relaxing part of my day, if I’m honest.”
“Wow, guess I’ll have to make your trip here more stressful. You’re not allowed to have fun.” Phil said, and Dan let out a noise like a giggle, making Phil’s heart soar.
“You’d have to completely change yourself then, because that’s what makes the trip here worth it every day. Even in the pouring rain.” Dan tilted his head toward the window, referring to the current weather. But he said t in such a smug way, smirking at Phil during and after, and Phil was in shock.
Was he flirting with me?
“That’s easy.” Phil picked up the salt shaker on the table, shook a fair amount into his hand, and successfully dumped it into Dan’s coffee.
Dan looked up wide eyed, his jaw dropping. “Did you really?”
“I did.” Phil crossed his arms on the table. Dan got up off the chair, and strode over to his umbrella, it already making a tiny puddle of water from the rain running off the fabric. He sprinted back over to the table, and shook the rest of the droplets over Phil’s head.
Phil gasped, swatting the umbrella away from above his head. The two women had turned and were watching, giggling as Dan shoved the papers into his bag, laughing as he swung it over his shoulders, and started for the door, running. Phil gave an unsure look to Cleo, before she shouted ‘Go!’, and Phil took off after Dan.
He heard the bell chime when he ran out of the building, and Dan was already halfway across the street, looking back at Phil, the umbrella long forgotten. “Oops?” Dan said, raising his arms as if he didn’t know what he did, breaking into a laugh when Phil finally caught up. They hadn’t been outside for thirty seconds, and they were already drenched, their hair dripping wet. Phil shook his head, bringing his hands up to his hair, and ruffling it, while shaking it in Dan’s face, adding more water than what was coming down. “What you get for putting salt in my coffee!’
“Hey, you deserved that!” Dan started walking backwards, making Phil follow him. He was almost running sideways by the time Phil caught up. “You told me to completely change, because I’m so awful.”
“Don’t put words into my mouth.” Dan remarked. “I told you to change yourself because YOU wanted my experience to be less enjoyable.”
Dan sped ahead, turning the corner, and going down an ally. The rain wasn’t as intense, the buildings shielding them, Phil had grabbed Dan’s wrist, both laughing. He held both arms in one hand, making Dan squirm as he laughed hysterically, and brought a hand to his neck, maing it seem as if Phil were going to grab his face and kiss him, but at last minute he flicked Dan right under his ear. “Oops?” He mocked Dan’s statement from earlier.
Dan wiggled his arms free, and started poking Phil on his sides, tickling him. “Oops,” Dan yelled, trying to escape Phil’s arms when he reached out to defend himself. He crossed his own over his chest as Phil had his arms wrapped around his torso, dropping Dan’s bag, pulling his back into his chest. Phil had lifted Dan’s feel off the ground slightly, both still laughing at each other, over nothing. “Phil!”
Phil interlocked their fingers, on both hands, keeping them wrapped around Dan, on a whim. “Whoops, looks like our hands are stuck together. That’s weird?” Phil joked, pinning Dan around. He knew it was cheesy, but they were already acting cheesy, so it only added to the moment.
“What a shame.” Dan said, smiling with dimples adorning his cheeks. It had been a while since Dan had found somebody he really liked. The last time being in Uni, but that was years ago. He really grew an affection towards Phil, which is why he kept going back to his shop every day, and would occasionally order flowers, or plants to his house, just because he knew Phil picked them out, and arranged them.
But being a teacher took up most of his life, so he never really had time to date, or do anything to hang out with a person, and Phil was just somebody that he got to know without even knowing he was doing it, and figured out he kept going because he really fucking liked Phil, but didn’t know how to act on it.
Dan moved his hands around Phil’s neck, tugging lightly on the hair that was at the bottom of Phil’s neck. “Your hair called me, and asked why you didn’t leave it in 2007, and I couldn’t help but wonder the same exact question.” Dan teased, his tongue poking out of his mouth as he giggled with Phil’s sarcastic eye roll. “Oh, sorry, does that offend you?”
“You literally have the exact same haircut, you’re just curlier than me.” Phil laughed. Dan had pulled Phil’s head down more, pressing their foreheads together. They both had no idea how they had gotten to this point so quickly, but were happy that it was finally happening, at least, they hoped.
“You know,” Dan started, “the kids finally pointed out that I always have peonies in my vase last week.”
“Tell them where you got them, it will get me more business.” Phil said, sounding serious. Dan tried to hold back laughter, kicking his shin.
“And then one of them, all bold like, said, and I quote, ‘my mummy told me peonies are romantic, does somebody fancy you, Mr.Howell?’ And I couldn’t help but fucking blush because of fucking course Peonies symbolize romance after I had fallen for the guy that kept supplying me with them voluntarily.”
Then it was Phil’s turn to blush, because holy fuck, Dan figured out his secret plan, and it fucking worked. It worked. He could barely believe what he had just heard. It was like every single dream he ever had was finally coming true, and the rain soaking them didn’t even matter anymore, because he was so shocked that this was happening, this boring day had turned so amazing, Phil thought he was dreaming.
“Ah, you have uncovered my secret plans!” Phil tried to cover up the fact that he was internally freaking out, and seemed to do it pretty well in that case.
“Secret?” Dan asked, giggling. “Are they secret if I find out before you even tell me?”
“It worked didn’t it?”
They both laughed, their noses bumping together, making them just that more eager. And suddenly, Dan pushed his head up, and their lips collided, locking together to naturally, and perfectly.
Neither of them could believe what was happening, yet at the same time they could. Phil ran his hands up and down Dan’s sides, exhaling when they pulled back.
It wasn’t for long, though, as Phil went straight back down, kissing the breath out of Dan. He bit down on Dan’s bottom lip, and Dan opened his mouth enough for Phil to slip his tongue in, which Dan had dreamed about Phil doing forever now.
Phil brought his hands to Dan’s cheeks, running the pads of his thumbs on his cheekbones. Dan gasped, Phil’s other fingers lightly brushing against his neck, making Phil smirk.
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this.” Dan said, Phil just pressed their lips back together, showing Dan how much he agreed.
-
Phil’s keys jingled in his hands as he tried to unlock the door to his flat, Dan kissing his jaw as he hung off Phil’s arm. Both of their minds were racing with adrenaline.
Turns out that standing in the middle of the rain making out isn’t going to take them any further, so Phil suggested that they go to his flat down the street to ‘dry off’ and ‘change’. Dan knew what he actually meant, and didn’t hesitate to agree to it. But could you blame Dan? He’s been waiting for this for a year and a half, he was not going to pass up the opportunity. obviously.
Phil pushed the door open, revealing his apartment to Dan, for the first time. He didn’t think that this would be how he showed Dan his life at home for the first time, but hey, no going back now.
He didn’t think pushing Dan against the wall would be the right approach to start this, as he didn’t know what Dan’s boundaries were, so he settled for just hugging Dan from behind as he looked around the flat, taking in what he could.
Phil had a plant of some sort of variation on any surface of his house, vases of flowers, regular potted house plants, succulents, etc.. But to top that even more, he had posters of old video games, movies, and cartoons. But they were professionally framed, making Dan giggle at how nerdy Phil exactly was.
“Suits you.” Dan smiled, leaning into Phil.
“I know, it’s a lot.” Phil laughed, kissing Dan’s cheek.
“No, no. Really, it suits you. I like it.” Dan turned around, placing his hands on Phil’s chest. He blinked up at hi, leaning up and pressing a light kiss to Phil’s lips. Phil had dropped Dan’s bag onto the floor next to the door, before wrapping his arms around Dan’s waist.
“Wouldn’t expect you to go for the nerd who owns a florist cafe.” Phil joked, kissing Dan’s giggle away. Phil slid his tongue into Dan’s mouth, making the kiss more needy, and rough. Dan squeaked, tugging Phil closer by his shirt, tilting his head.
Phil’s hands cupped Dan’s face, running the pads of his thumbs across his cheekbones. His skin was smooth, and up close, Phil could see the small freckles that littered Dan’s face, which made him even more adorable than he could imagine. He was completely head over heels for Dan, and the fact that he had finally reached this stage with him was exhilarating. “Wouldn’t have expected you to go for the primary school teacher.” Dan said between kissing.
Dan’s fingers found their way to the top button of Phil’s shirt, slowly looping it through the hole, successfully undoing it.
This was what Phil had wanted, he wanted somebody that he was completely head over heels for, somebody that felt the same for him that he felt, and this was when he finally realized that he got what he was looking for.
Maybe opening that coffee shop wasn’t his only dream, because after today, it won’t be his top priority anymore.
“You don’t even know what I’m feeling for you right now.” Phil pulled away. Dan blushed.
“Trust me, I do.”

Korra Heist AU, part 3
Hey folks, so here’s the third part of a Legend of Korra heist story I started and then forgot about months ago. It ended up taking an entirely different direction from what I’d originally intended (Korra’s description of a ‘dramatic reveal’ in the second scene is the direction I originally had in mind), but I kind of like the twist ending I ended up with. Technically, the story was supposed to end here, but I have an epilogue in mind as well. Thoughts and feedback are always welcome! (Part 1, part 2)
Asami forced a smile as she entered the Flying Bison that evening, privately hating this ‘secret admirer’ thief for getting her into this mess. It had all seemed so easy last night in Lord Desna’s chambers. All she had to do was nothing and she’d get a reward for it. Easiest money she’d ever made—easily enough money to pay her late father’s massive debts and get herself out of this awful situation.
Now she was under scrutiny from the constables and being forced to betray her supposed benefactor. And she wouldn’t even get a reward for it—in fact, best case scenario the constables wouldn’t throw her in jail. She’d wasted an evening with a drunk, apathetic nobleman and would likely have her reputation tarnished at the same time.
“Hey, gorgeous! C’mon in!” came the enthusiastic greeting as Asami entered. She felt her smile become more genuine as her eyes adjusted to the yellowish-orange light from the lamps and candles. Grinning, Korra strode over from a card game between four of her patrons. “What can I get for ya? We’ve got ales of all shades and wines of all colors,” she offered. “I tried some wine from our latest delivery from the Air Temple and would definitely recommend.”
“Oh, um, thanks,” Asami replied. “I’ll try some of that, then,” she decided, taking a seat where the constables could keep an eye on her. One of them was already here, watching her while pretending to brood over his beer. The other constable was supposed to arrive in the next few minutes.
“You got it!” Korra winked before heading back behind the bar. Asami felt herself warm over the attention. She glanced around the tavern, watching the servers and the other patrons. Along with Korra and Opal, there were four other serving women around the bar. One of them, an older woman with dark-grey hair, worked behind the bar pouring drinks.
There were six patrons so far besides Asami and the undercover constable. Three men and a woman sat at the poker table while a man and a woman who looked like soldiers argued good-naturedly about some lieutenant whose name Asami didn’t catch.
Asami had a lot of practice at determining when someone was interested in her. As she watched, several patrons showed an interest in her but seemed curiously reluctant to approach her. She noticed the soldier woman look to her and then look toward Korra—almost as if hoping for Korra’s permission to approach Asami.
Watching the serving girls, Asami realized suddenly that none of the patrons harassed or made advances toward them, either. She smiled, realizing that Korra must not allow unwelcome advances toward her employees or patrons at her tavern. The regulars knew this and behaved themselves.
She had to admit that Korra was formidable as her host returned with her drink. Though her grin was dashing and infectious, Korra was built like a fighter and carried herself like a soldier. She wore her broadsword openly, and Asami would have bet anything she knew how to use it supremely well.
“Here ya go, beautiful,” Korra said as she set a flagon of red wine on the table.
“Thanks,” Asami smiled up at her, trying not to blush.
“So, what brings you to my place?” Korra asked, leaning against the table.
“I’m, ah, I’m supposed to meet a client here,” Asami told her. “Your friend Bolin recommended this place.”
“Oh yeah?” Korra raised her brows. “Then you’re very welcome here. I’ve known Bolin since we were teenagers. We even served in the fusiliers together.”
“Really?” Asami asked, surprised, even though it made sense somehow.
“Yep! Two tours in the Forty-Third Highland Infantry, under Major Lin Beifong,” she grinned, pointing to a black or dark-blue tam hanging from the mirror behind the bar. A tarnished corporal’s bar was pinned to the hem. “His brother Mako—I don’t know if you met him—ended up in the Republic Marines instead, first aboard the cutter UFS Rabaroo and then aboard the frigate UFS Shirshu. Though, the only battle all three of us were in together was General Iroh’s opening beach-storming against those Red Lotus revolutionaries.”
“Oh, well thank you for your service to the United Republic, then,” Asami offered up a quick toast with her flagon.
Korra winked and nodded. “Anyway, hon,” she said, “let me know if you need anything. And I’ll make sure word gets around that you’re waiting for someone. No one will bother you, I promise—most of my customers know I can kick their asses, and I’ve got blackmail on all the one’s I can’t.”
“Alright, thanks,” Asami smiled. She was impressed at how well Korra played her part in this little sting operation. She was certainly a better actress than Asami.
The second constable arrived a few minutes later, taking a seat where he could watch parts of the bar that the other constable couldn’t see as readily. Other patrons filtered in. Asami was surprised at how many she recognized, mostly from the lower nobility. Apparently a few bored aristocrats enjoyed coming out to slum with the working class and soldiers and criminals.
Patrons came and went, but none approached her table—evidently Korra’s promise that no one would bother her was true. As she waited, Asami kept an eye out for women who fit the ‘secret admirer’s’ height and build. There were one or two. She saw one stocky, stern-looking woman with a long, black braid and a beauty mark below her right eye. The woman wore an officer’s cuirass and a cavalry saber, talking with a bespectacled young man. Asami noticed Opal shooting annoyed glances at them now and again.
The burglar still hadn’t shown herself when one of the constables stormed over to Asami’s table. “What the hell are you trying to pull?” the man demanded, slamming a parchment note down on the table.
“What–what do you mean?” Asami asked, flinching from his ire.
“This!” he glared, stabbing his finger at the note. “Don’t you dare try to tell me that you weren’t—”
He cut off at the ringing of steel as Korra’s broadsword appeared in front of him.
“You’ve been here before, chuckles, you know the rules,” Korra admonished the angry constable. “Nobody threatens or hassles my customers.” One of the serving girls had drawn a cudgel; Opal had a muff-pistol ready but wasn’t pointing it at anyone. And the older bar matron had taken the Claymore down from its mount, resting it over her shoulder as she stepped around the bar.
“What’s going on?” the other constable asked, jogging over from his table. Asami noticed the conversation had died down at the spectacle.
“This note,” the first constable explained, pointing to it again. “When I checked just now, my coin-purse is gone, and this note was left in its place! Don’t tell me this wasn’t some kind of setup,” he accused, pointing at Asami.
Asami frowned down at the note. It read, “I said ‘no constables’ was part of the deal. Signed, your secret admirer.”
The second constable fumbled with his coat pocket, then grimaced. “Mine’s gone to,” he mumbled, pulling a similar slip of parchment from his pocket.
Asami shifted uncomfortably, suddenly noticing the lack of weight in her own coat pocket. Closing her eyes in embarrassment and frustration, she reached in the inside pocket and felt the parchment note where her own coin purse should be. Taking the note between two fingers, she laid it on the table. Eyes still closed, she placed her arms on the table and rested her forehead on her arms, trying not to sob.
“What’s it mean?” the second constable asked.
“It means the thief got wind of the sting and is hanging me out to dry,” Asami murmured bitterly, not lifting her head. “And apparently she’s a very good pickpocket.”
She gave a shuddering, involuntary sob as she felt Korra’s arms wrap around her. “It’s gonna be alright, I promise,” Korra whispered to her, stroking her hair.
Asami shook her head, sobbing again. “No, it’s not,” she wept, feeling Korra’s chin atop her head. “I had to pay interest on my father’s debts two days ago. That coin purse was all the money I had.”
“Not for long,” Korra soothed, hugging her harder. “I was serious when I said I was interested in your services,” she reminded her. “Come back as soon as you get things sorted out with the constables, and I promise we can work something out, deal?”
Asami finally looked up at her, seeing that kind smile through the tears. “Thank you,” she whispered, leaning in to embrace her benefactor. She held Korra close for a long while, not really caring about all the people watching them.
“Hey, I’m back,” Asami greeted the next afternoon as she entered the Flying Bison. Korra grinned, looking up from sharpening her broadsword and stack of kitchen knives. She sheathed her sword and set the whetstone down as she stood.
“I’m really glad you’re okay,” Korra assured her, stepping over to embrace Asami. “Watch the front for me, Kya?” she asked the older bar matron Asami had seen the night before.
“Sure thing,” Kya answered, smirking knowingly as Korra guided Asami into the back rooms.
“How did things go at the constabulary?” Korra asked as they entered her office. The office was small with three chairs, a desk, safe, and bookshelves.
“It was rough,” Asami admitted, sitting in one of the chairs. Instead of sitting behind the desk, Korra pulled a chair up to sit directly in front of Asami. “Chief Beifong and that Aiwei character grilled me all morning. This ‘secret admirer’ bandit robbed two of her constables, so the chief seems to be taking this case pretty personally.”
“I can imagine,” Korra admitted, a concerned and thoughtful frown forming. “I think I told you last night she was my commanding officer in the fusiliers. Trust me, I know how she gets. I’m… I’m sorry you had to go through all of that.”
“Don’t be sorry; it’s not your fault. You’re the one who got me through all of this,” Asami assured her, leaning forward and taking Korra’s hands. “I knew I had a kind and beautiful woman waiting for me after I got out. That alone gave me strength to endure their grilling and derision.” She gave Korra’s hands a squeeze. “Thank you.”
“Except that it is my fault,” Korra said, looking away from her. Releasing Asami’s hands, she turned to open the safe by her desk. From it she withdrew a bag of coins, identical to the ones stolen from Lord Desna’s safe. “Your payment,” she said quietly, still avoiding eye-contact. She placed the bag in Asami’s hands.
“You were the ‘secret admirer’ burglar…” Asami murmured, trailing off as she opened the bag. Every coin within was heavy and golden and beautiful.
Korra just nodded. “It was me. But I didn’t mean for you to get into trouble,” she apologized. “I–I wanted to tell you sooner, but I knew that wasn’t safe—your reactions had to be genuine in case Aiwei was the one who questioned you. It was… it was supposed to be a romantic gesture,” Korra admitted. “I had this whole plan in mind where I’d pull one over on Lin’s constables, stealing their purses and leaving mystery notes. And then there’d be this big dramatic reveal where you and I discuss the price for your services, then I pull out the bag and ask ‘what will this get me?’ and it was supposed to be this big, romantic surprise. But then…” she trailed off, sighing.
“But then I saw you cry.”
Asami just stared as Korra explained.
“I saw you cry last night, and I realized that I had hurt you,” Korra continued, still not meeting Asami’s eyes. “I realized that my actions from the theft on down had hurt you and placed you in danger. And then… and then it wasn’t fun anymore. It wasn’t romantic anymore. You were hurt and afraid because of my actions, and I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’m really sorry.”
Asami took Korra’s hands again and leaned in to press their foreheads together. “I believe you,” she whispered. “And, for what it’s worth, I’m really sorry too.” She leaned back and turned to the office door. “Will that be a sufficient confession, Chief Beifong?”
“Yeah, I think that’ll do it,” Beifong nodded, stepping through the door, pistol in one hand, manacles in the other.
Korra looked startled for a moment, then, oddly enough, grinned and chuckled. “Nice one, Lin, what made you suspect me?” she asked, offering up her wrists.
“I am a detective, you know,” Chief Beifong answered flatly as she applied the shackles.
“I suppose that’s fair enough,” Korra shrugged as Beifong removed Korra’s sword belt and searched her for additional weapons. “Your coin purse is still in my top left drawer, by the way, Asami.”
“I’m really sorry, Korra,” Asami said again.
“Don’t be,” Korra shook her head as Chief Beifong led her away. “Don’t be.”

SO I GOT THIS QUESTION ON MY SEA WITCH VIDEO, AND SINCE I’VE BEEN RECEIVING QUESTIONS LIKE THIS A LOT, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE IMPORTANT TO SHARE MY ANSWERS HERE AS WELL. Question: " it's a shame how I want to be a an artist and I cant even draw this good and I don't even know or have all the tools... I just don't feel like I'm ever going to be an artist. Any tips?? how come I don't have all the tools?? I only have like 10... how many years have you be been drawing in paint tool sai??? I'm only 15, and did you take classes or are self-taught???? srry for a the questions ... I'm just trying to find hope and motivation 😔“
*** Well, first of all, that mentality  of "I'll never be a good artist" mindset has to go away. Being good at art is rarely about someone's natural skill and much more about years and years of practice. I didn't even dream I would be able to paint such a portrait when I was 15 myself (I am 27 now, so you can already see where I am going with this). So please, don't think it is "shameful" you can't draw like that yet when I didn't draw like that when I was your age, lol. Some teens can paint and draw insanely good - examples: Kiwi Byrd, Tamberella, Sara Teppes, they aren't teens anymore but they are currently like 19 or 20 and they've been posting art for years now. They are exceptions or they simply perceive/absorb art skills  differently, but you can see they are ALWAYS drawing and posting something, from a sketch to a full painting, they are always producing art, which of course, speeds their improvement a lot. I will ALWAYS show and link this to people, because more than anything I want to de-romanticize and un-mistify this idea that art is 1- easy (it is not, no matter what it may seem or how some people might be quicker to learn it, it is still hard to learn new tecniques and styles and to study art) and 2- that art is absolutely impossible to improve: THIS IS MY IMPROVEMENT MEME CHART THAT COVERS FROM 2003 to 2016.  As you can see, at your age I literally drew some anime-style characters and fanarts, most based out of something else (like the Amy Lee manga portrait, it was referenced on one of Amy's most famous promo pictures). I only started with digital art when I was sixteen and only got a tablet pen (a Wacom Bamboo Fun small) three years later when I was 19. Tools are helpful, but when you are a beginner, they don't really matter to be quite honest. I mastered watercolors  by constantly practicing with the cheapest, worst quality watercolors and nankin ink you can ever imagine from the age of 14. They were literally school / tools for children quality. That Amy Lee I mentioned earlier on my chart was all done with ballpoint pen. And to this day, ballpoint pens are one of my absolute favorite materials do draw with because they are cheap, simple and we can achieve awesome effects and textures with them. They were all done recently with only common ballpoint pens:

If your foundations aren't good in drawing, your art won't look good no matter how many tools you have and no matter how expensive they are, the art will still look bad. If you can make wonders with cheap-ass materials, you will be fine in any situation. If you have 10 tools (I guess they are commons stuff like pens, pencils, colored pencils?) you already have a very good start. I've been drawing on Paint Tool SAI since 2009, which means this year will be 8 years of using the software.
This was literally my first attempt on Paint Tool SAI, in 2009:
Tumblr media
This was one of my latest paintings with the same software, made last month:
Tumblr media
On the other hand, I still use a Bamboo Pen small tablet, which is a good one but far from what you would call "the best" tablet; again, remember what I said up there - try to work with what you have in your hands. Sometimes upgrades will have to be necessary for you to improve, for example, you can't improve at playing the violin if your violin is a cheap/beginner violin because in that skill, the quality of the instrument counts a lot for the quality of sound you will get. Art supplies work more or less the same way, but unlike the violin, it is not a deal breaker if you have cheaper stuff or if the quality is inferior.  I've taken a few classes / attended a few fast courses because these are super expensive here in Brazil where I live. But I was once an apprentice of this dude who had a painting studio near where I live. It last only a few months, I had to stop attending due to many reasons, oil paintings not really being one of the easiest materials to deal with being one of them, BUT I still learned a great deal on traditional painting which I use to this very day on my digital art. Another tip would be exactly that - try watching traditional oil painting videos, they have great techniques and tips that can easily be applied on digital (my favorite is Andrew Tischler's channel, his videos are dynamic and his technique is insanely good). Observing old paintings that you might like also help a lot (my favorite painter is by far William Bouguereau, I've been observing his art since 2009, and I try to apply what I see in his works on mine).
However, I would say I am mostly self taught - and by that I mean I read and watched a ridiculous amount of tutorials online, from deviantart and on youtube, and whenever I see a tutorial I stop to at least take a look. Don't judge tutorials by the quality of the art being presented in it, I've learned A LOT about SAI by reading tutorials and watching speedpaints on YT of what would be considered "bad anime art" or just "weaboo anime art". Since learning art can be tough and you can get really unmotivated and bored, draw whatever you want: fanarts, OC's, animals, landscapes, it doesnt matter as long as you like it. You can see on my improvement chart that 90% of stuff in there is fanart. It has its cons (for example, people can take the longest time to recognize your original art or not pay attention to it at all, like it still happens to me) but it definitely has its pros as well.  Also, I am very good at drawing faces and characters (hence this only took me 3h to paint, i've been painting faces since ever and they are one of my favorite things to paint), but I am extremely bad at drawing and painting backgrounds. They can come out looking nice, but I still can't paint just anything (for example, I can paint a forest decently, but I can't paint a city scape with buildings and such). My backgrounds are often very limited, simple and / or just suggested (like in my recent "Goblin" video, the forest behind him is only suggested, but it is enough to convey the message). I should practice more on BG's, but I don't lol. So don't be like me on that, haha. Long story short: - art is hard and takes a long time to learn and to improve, it is completely normal to take time to improve; - don't be fooled by the illusion of expensive art supplies = good art. Work with what you have at hands, try different tools and  supplies and see what suits you the best; - read read read read read tutorials and watch as many YT speedpaints and tutorials you can. Even if they are long, even if they seem they won't add you anything new or good. - draw a lot, and draw what you enjoy. I hope this was somehow helpful!

Viddyoze 3.0 Review [Video Creation On Steroids?]
Making money is a significant concern for every person and company. A hefty profit is the target, but can only be made
Tumblr media
through proper marketing and improvement of sales. Today, so many people and companies alike have taken over the internet to try and fish the customers through different methods.
As for you, I want to believe your reading this review because you know that the dynamics are changing. Nowadays, selling your product is no longer that simple, through images and sending out emails. Potential customers have become fussy and hard to convince. This assumption is wrong; it has never been more accessible to pleas a customer than today by merely giving them what they want to see.
That’s why I present the solution you’ve been seeking for so long, Viddyoze. Cloud-Based software that was developed to ensure that you can sell yourself and product with the least amount of investment, time spent and assures you of immediate response. Viddyoze helps turn you from a video novice to a video animation designer in just three clicks.
Marketing Your Business With Videos
Research has shown that most of the potential customers are no longer buying into images, templates, or reviews unlike the past, today they buy into what they see in videos. Also, it has been noted that more than 80% of the world’s internet traffic will be on videos. Making videos that would sell your product in the past would cost you so much money to hire video directors, quality cameras, models, and still invest in video editors. This is now in the past.
Viddyoze gives you the ability to create 3D quality animations without the use or need for sophisticated software or training. You’re given the opportunity to: create logo stingers, intro, outros, social media call to actions, mockup, overlay, and live-action videos all this with movie filters and seamless transition effects.
I know all this sounds too complicated, but it isn’t complicated at all. Viddyoze is a groundbreaking technology that gives power to the powerless. If you want to create videos for adverting, you will have to use a Madison Avenue budget to produce a video that will capture the attention of your target audience, and still, it will lack so many aspects that are provided by Viddyoze. The likes of the stunning social actions that enable your user who is watching to click the shared social media account live on the go. We know that the purpose of the uploaded video is to grab the attention of the lead to keep the attention of the lead to watch until the end of the video. And convert awareness into action, this means turning the lead into a customer or user.
Selling Video Creation Services
The other side of the coin is it’s not about advertising yourself or business alone, but you can make money out of it. So many individuals are utilizing Viddyoze to make money by creating content for local companies who have not yet known the use of this fantastic technology. You also can create a watermark so your videos will be safe as they circulate the You may assume that this a new concept in the market, but it’s not new at all. The idea started back in 2005 September with the creation of Viddyoze 1.0 that was followed with Viddyoze version 2.0 in June 2016, and the Viddyoze Live Action was the next innovation. It was released on June 2017 after the developers came up with the 3.0 platform, the newest in the market.
Many have had version 2.0 and Live Action, but I would advise you to upgrade to version 3.0. You will not be forced to pay any extra fees while migrating. This is what you will get from the 3.0.
Introducing Viddyoze 3.0
With the Viddyoze 3.0, a user can create 3D animated videos with intros, outros, social actions, Segways, and many more. It is still Saas, so you only require internet access to be able to create the videos anywhere and in any device, and it will not take up any of your space in the laptop or PC.
It is simple to use and create videos. It has three simple steps, ones you log into your Viddyoze account, and you only have to choose a template, customize the template to your needs, confirm your video, and render your video. Just like that, you are a video animation designer.

It is said that most people end up getting their investment money two to four days after investing in the use of Viddyoze.
This platform also offers a 60-day cash refund without questions asked. So if you fear investing fear no more, the customer’s service is so great, and their response is fast if you have any questions or inquiries, they will respond in less than four hours.

The main reason for having the video was to sell your product now the time has come to do so, to turn the attention into action. With Viddyoze, you can click on the buy button or call to action message while your video is still playing.

What is missing?
I don’t see anything that might be missing in this innovation. Everything that you require to make your video is provided in straightforward steps. The minor issue is that if you are creating a video during peak hours, then you will face a time-lapse. You will spend at least an hour so as the video can render. But this is solvable because you can continue doing your work in the browser as its rendering. I prefer using this software to using the Adobe After Effects with regards to cost and also the ease of using the software.

And as a result, you may consider using it to improve your business and also boost your social account clicks. For the young minds, they can use these platforms as a source of income to help them create videos with ease and then sell the videos at an extra cost that, at times, is pretty profitable considering the investment made.
