I just saw a trailer for Velma and I gotta say, capitalism is truly the end of innovation. The ONLY reason that show has the Scooby gang is because they're recognizable. Every character is completely different than their original. If they made the exact same show without changing anything except the characters it wouldn't change a single thing about it. The connection to Scooby Doo starts and ends with the characters and even then they changed everything about them but their name and basic designs. They're using popular characters to gain viewers while shitting all over the characters themselves. I'm just so tired of every popular piece of media being perverted and twisted just because of brand recognition. MAKE NEW CHARACTERS!!! YOU ALREADY BASICALLY DID JUST CHANGE THEIR NAME AND CLOTHES AND NO ONE WOULD EVEN KNOW THEYRE FROM SCOOBY DOO BECAUSE THEIR NAME AND CLOTHES ARE THE ONLY THING THEY KEPT!

i want to give that lib some benefit of the doubt. seeing people murdered on live tv would probably make you a bit emotional, make you not think clearly. but its just like... do they realize that trump was in fact voted out of office? that this live murder happened with him out of office? if there was any logic to what they were saying, i'd really like to know how it goes. obviously i'm not going to agree with them, but i would like to make it make sense. like, what's the rationale?

In season 5 i expected the main ladybug and chat noir plot points (cont under keep reading incase)

would be getting back a miraculous each episode like how they did with the rabbit one and not have the miraculous bluetoothed to the people being akumatised. it made it blaringly obvious that the writers thought the time travel was simply too powerful and that hawkmoth (dont care whatever he is called now) would've succeded easily without it. what i want to know is why the snake one hasnt been used since it kinda forces the best senario of a situation. anyway idk
