RE: Slow Damage Patch

Within less than a week, the Slow Damage patch had already gotten dragged into debate after debate for all kinds of reasons that - no matter how many attempts at debunking, explaining or clarifying are made by others - will refuse be to lived down no matter what.

Though as I've previously expressed in other posts, the simple fact that the patch was declared to be made to change a localization that already gets viciously defended when given any sort of constructive criticism is inevitably going to invite discourse.

Even without that, if not the patch itself, many have taken issue with the patch notes, which I've seen then get used as an attempt to essentially guilt-trip others not to play the patch lest they risk ostracization/accusation, something that's unspoken but definitely there.

But letting all this affect the fans before they can even at least try the patch isn't a good thing, since even the vitriol alone is bound to scare or put them off–an effective example of everything that can go horribly wrong in a fandom.

The patch is already there, free of charge, and there's no royalties to be stolen or lost. I'm someone who likes to check out something first before seeing if what others say about it hold weight or not. And it's normal to like and dislike one thing at the same time. Like with DMMD, I can still appreciate the fan patch itself for letting me play the game, while still having criticisms about certain approaches the team made with the translation.

So the way I see it, what's important is what the patch itself offers, as well as enjoying it on its own merits. Whatever attitude the patch team may have about JAST or whatever they think of other matters isn't something that should be treated like a life-or-death concern. After all, everything online is already a minefield, no matter what any of us say or do or even think.

Which is why I'll share another link to the patch files themselves here: SLOW DAMAGE PATCH.

Of course, also in the link is the instructions on how to install the file. In other words, this link has the essentials, and no more than that.

The most concise summary of what this patch does is that it retells the story of Slow Damage, but from a third-person point of view, which is the narration viewpoint used in the JP version. It also revises the dialogue of the characters and the tone of the narration.

Exactly how this revision is done or carried out in detail is best left to you to see for yourselves. Regardless, I personally recommend the patch to both old and new players alike.

And my advice is that as you play through the patch from start to finish, you don't let anything you see online get to you, and to keep an open mind with what you read.

Whatever your consensus of the patch will be by the end, it's important that your opinion is entirely from your experience from playing it, and isn't one that's influenced or manipulated by whatever you hear or see from others.

steam is having a visual novel sale. do you recommend anything?

Subahibi (listed as Wonderful Everyday Down the Rabbit-Hole) is worth picking up, but you'll want to patch it with the Frontwing Steam Patch from JAST for that, along with the full voice patch to get the best experience

Totono (listed as YOU and ME and HER: A Love Story) is on sale, but because of how JAST handles steam games, you'll need to buy the patch off their site afterwards

why? because JAST's modern policy is that censored steam releases are discounted by default to accommodate the removed content (on its face this is a consumer-side policy, but I have a suspicion this is also a way to skirt steam's modern anti-uncensoring-patch policies)

similar situation with DRAMAtical Murder, Togainu no Chi, Saya no Uta (Song of Saya), and sweet pool

for stuff with less setup and introduction needed, there's Steins;Gate, VA-11 Hall-A, Baldr Sky, Kindred Spirits on the Roof, Heaven Will Be Mine, Hatoful Boyfriend, Corpse Party, and the Muv-Luv games (despite all my complaining I can't argue that this isn't a good price for it)

Nakamura Asumiko’s Classmates series; Kumota Haruko’s Itoshi no nekokke/ My Darling Kitten Hair series

Lumping these two together because they both made me cry tears of queer joy

The themes of family and coming out are handled so gently if sometimes bittersweetly in these stories

AND the wedding scenes in both series are soooo lovely I’m gonna cry just thinking abt them

(Classmates is published in eng by Seven Seas, Nekokke sadly does not have an official eng release after Jmanga went down and I think it’s kinda underrated in the eng speaking manga sphere sobb)

Marukido Maki’s Pornographer series & End of the World With You

Once again lumping two series together bc Marukido Maki just does Things to me okay

Honestly I think all of their series have made me look at my life and my choices and reflect on all kinds of things I never expected to be while reading a story abt idk dictation of erotic novels

Also the bittersweet and somewhat unusual rlationships Marukido Maki writes are so good

(Pornographer and its sequel & prequel can be read on Mangaplanet. End of the World does not have an official eng release, but both of these series do have decent live action adaptations, Pornographer’s is called ”The Novelist” in eng)

Harada’s One Room Angel

I know Harada is a big hit or miss for a lot of people, I am definitely a fan even if I don’t love all of their series

This is another story that made me think about life, choices, healing, finding meaning within yourself... so many themes that easily make me cry

(One Room Angel can be read on Mangaplanet. There is also a great live action series even though it hits a bit different than the original does)

Asada Nemui’s Sleeping Dead

Look it’s been a year since I read it but this story about zombies and trauma and the horrors of living is still haunting me

Overall I love Asada Nemui’s stories that dan be quite dark and brutal but that also have humor and humanity in them

(Sleeping Dead doesn’t have an official eng translation but it has been translated in French at least. Some of Asada Nemui’s other translated works can be read on Mangaplanet and Renta.)

Azuma Kaya’s The Scene of My Rumspringa

Adding this last because this is what inspired this whole ask

The themes of growing up and leaving your childhood behind and finding your own path are done SO.SO.WELL in this story. And the way Azuma Kaya’s visual storytelling brings those themes alive is just stunning

If there is anyone out there who still hasn’t read this Amish themed BL manga, I am begging on my knees: it is NOT a joke it is actually one of the most touching and sweet and unique BL stories you’ll ever read

DMMD steam DLC/patch installation guide

(my version, as of 2024)

pretext: first off, i was not aware that steams version of DMMD has dialogue and image censorship when getting it, though i was happy to find out that the creators have a patch for steams version to get the full experience.

I had some issues installing the patch at first because I take instructions word for word; but of course I figured it out (nothing can stop me) so i wanted to upload the process i had to go though. My notes (recommend checking) and sources at the end.

To start, opening the steam version of DMMD (without the patch) will say its version 1.00s. You can check this by opening the game in windowed (screen mode); or when in the game, select CONFIG on the menu page and look at the version number at the bottom of the screen (as seen below).

First: After verifying what version you have, you'll need to buy and download the patch. (this part is run of the mill, but i saw on forms that some struggled with it in the past.)

After buying on Jasts website, to download go to the "my account tab" and select "my games". The DLC will be there (as seen below).

You'll click on the arrow that pops up when hovering on the game (circled above), select "view downloads" and a screen will pop up (marked as (1). On that screen (as seen below)) you'll click on "steam patch," then another tab will pop up (marked as (2), it'll ask about disc space and you'll say "yes" (as circled below).

After it downloads, whatever internet browse you're using (mine being chrome), a tab will pop up (should be around top right corner of your browser) and you'll want to hit "open" (as seen above). This will open a Files tab in your computer (we will be calling this Tab(2), as seen below)

Now, the actual installation: Opening steam up, locate dramatical murder in your library (as seen below). Of course, make sure the game is not open. You'll want to click the settings gear (1), hover on manage (2), then select "browse local files" (3). This will open another file tab (we will be calling this Tab(1)), keep this open as is.

Next: Pull up Tab(2) and select the file to view its contents. You will want to select ALL THREE (both files and the folder, as seen below in the first image below) Then you will drag and drop them into Tab(1). This will prompt a pop up asking what you want to do with the files, you will select replace (as seen below in the second image). Then let it load.

Finally: You're basically done! You'll want to close close out of everything, then I highly recommend restarting your computer. (its always good to do so after running downloads and playing with a games files.)

To check and make sure the patch installed correctly: Do what we did at the beginning, bootup the game to check the running version. (as seen below). It will say its version 1.00 on the CONFIG screen (or at the top if you don't open the game in full screen.) The UNPATCHED version (censored) is 1.00s, the PATCHED (uncensored) version is 1.00.

If you're anxious (like me) and have convinced yourself that (despite it saying ver1.00) your game isn't patched, play though till Mink has kidnapped Aoba and it'll play a scene that is censored in the steam version. (The image below is the scene I am talking about.) You cannot fast skip, sadly, but check my notes for a tip on getting here faster.

Notes:

-Disclaimer, this patch will restarted all of your game data. It will not erase your previous steam achievements. If you're using the same PC, game data for the unpatched version is still saved and if you uninstall after using the patch and reinstall (without uploading the patch again) it will pull up your previous game data. (At least this has happened in my experience.)

-All of the sources i read warned me/told me that using this patch won't unlock steam achievements; this is no longer true. Sources said it could randomly unlock achievements out of order, i don't believe this is true anymore either. In my current experience, steam achievements have been unlocking at the correct times (example being, after finishing a route), and I haven't had any unlock randomly.

-Fun fact/quick trick! It may suck to have to restart (especially if you are like me and like having a game done to 100% completion), but if you have a mouse (not a laptop touch pad, to my knowledge) it can be a little bit easier.

To my experience; if you haven't played through a section of DMMD, you cannot fast skip. A feature I actually really like, but because you're playing under new game data when installing the patch, its a bitch. If you use your scroll wheel (wheel in the center of a standard mouse), you can skip through dialogue REALLY fast. This makes restoring where you were in the game a lot easier. Though it won't skip through cut-scenes...

The DMMD program will remember that you've read dialogue up to the last choice you've made, even if you don't save. Though it will not remember after that choice till after you reach another choice (so on and so forth). So, remember to save! Having a bunch of save files is one of the joys of playing games like DMMD.

Sunset Died - Bunch Family (1)

It's 7:36 a.m., Monday. Jack Bunch is preparing breakfast for the family. At least with the ingredients that are available. But this family is doing almost as well as the Keatons compared to others. Because their house was completely spared from the great catastrophe. But yet the whole thing had its effects.

At the time, Jack had just returned from a mission in which he himself had been seriously injured. He planned to go on vacation with his family, but then the meteorites came. "eww, that salad tastes totally disgusting"/ "it's been outside all night, you should have noticed that beforehand"/ "but I didn't!"

The injuries from the accident he suffered during his last military deployment are still clearly visible and will probably remain for the rest of his life. But the family is glad that Jack is still alive. He has not been on duty since the incident and the disaster. He would love to return to his post.

"Mom, when will I finally get my own room? Arlo snores really loudly"/ "huh? I don't" / "oh yes, but when you're asleep, you can't hear it…" / "pff, I don't do that, I'm still a child and not an old man like dad". Jack called out: "hey, I must have heard wrong?"

"Good morning!"/ "Good morning, Ethan…"/ "Didn't Lisa come home last night?"/ "No, she's coming today…"/ "Did she get to sleep over at VJ's again? Hey, when can I let Holly spend the night here?"/ "hh, you know I'm not on good terms with her parents," Judy replied. Ethan reacted somewhat irritably. "but Holly's not like her parents, you know that!".

Of course, Judy also knows that, unlike her parents, Holly is a very helpful and nice person. "hh, well, fine, you can bring her. "/ "Thanks, mom"/ "I want to stop by the hospital today and see if there's anything I can do for the people there"

"Don't forget our other plans. What Boyd suggested to us yesterday could be a good idea". Boyd Wainwright had visited them the night before and told them about the suggestion Zelda had made. That all the inhabitants should gather in front of the Alto mansion and make their displeasure known. "Do you really think it will help if we all stand in front of their house and demonstrate? You don't believe that yourself, Jack. We may outnumber them, but they still have the upper hand. I have to go now".

When Judy arrived at the small hospital, Jamie was already there. "Hello, how are you, it looks like there's not much going on today? What's with this bone egon?". Jamie had to smile. "hnhn, today everyone who wants to can learn a bit about anatomy and the musculoskeletal system. "/ "I want to learn something too!"/ "Oh, Malcolm, hello".

WELL NOW THIS IS A DAMN GOOD QUESTION AS MAJIKOI IS A LONG SERIES!!!

But unlike some vn franchises (Fate) there is a clear starting point and the quality doesn't drop like a fucking rock! But the naming conventions they ascribe to with Majikoi are somewhat annoying cause yeah their titles dont really scream "THIS IS A SEQUEL WITH ALMOST TRIPLE THE CONTENT" not to mention how "Majikoi" is not actually the name of any of the visual novels but a shortened title given by fans as the actual name is annoyingly long to say

So the order to play is simple:

NOW while Majikoi O and Majikoi S are very much Sequels to each other there is not a true route in O that S's plot hinges off of, S actually ends up giving six short after story routes just going into more details about the circumstances and events (but mostly more CG's and HCG's of the main 5 girls from O). But S's new content does hinge on you having played O before as it expects you to already know the characters of the story so it spends little time introducing them in favor of spending its focus on the characters added in S. S is also INSANELY longer than O like I havent actually verified but going by my gut I would say its double or triple the length

On the subject of Majikoi A-1 through A-5 those five vn's are SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than O or S being only three routes each (I think one of them might even only have two routes) now these are full routes and the writing is on par with even in some surpassing a lot of the original two's route writing there. Good thing is Minato soft were gracious enough to release Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! A Set which is just all five A games packaged together!

Quickly I will also touch on Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de which shares characters and is set in the same universe and timeline as the Majikoi games but as it is quite old an no fan or offical translation exists I wouldnt go seeking it out. Mostly is just neat trivia as some characters fro Kimi do get a cameo in Majikoi S and the A's

As for obtaining these visual novels so far only Majikoi O has gotten a full and official English translation and release with a downloadable version being purchasable on Steam and Jast (apparently jast is a publisher never heard of them befor this)

For the rest of the series I personally Imported the Japanese copies cause im an absolute crazy person who likes this visual novel series way way too much, I believe they are purchasable outside of Japan on Minato Softs store (Of course there is also ☠️ if you so choose that option) you can get the Unofficial translations which are all but indistinguishable from an official release TL over from Majitranslations

Cracked Smile, Silent Shout

Process & Jameth Abnale | Camerith Forest & Civitrecce | Present Night

One moment, Process was in the forest, wrapped up against its cold and taking their nightly walk.

Then they were grabbed by hard, viselike claws around their head and waist and dragged off.

They couldn’t speak or see, eyes and mouth covered by warm metal as they were roughly hauled off deeper into the trees and then…

Underground. They could feel it getting warmer, and while their ears were covered they could still note the lack of faint forest noises.

Then with a shuffling and sliding of the claws around their body, they were bound to a chair. Not so tightly they couldn’t move at all - a good thing, given how unforgiving troll circulation was - but enough that they were not escaping any time soon.

Then their face was uncovered, and they opened them to see a thing of blades with green eyes glaring down at them.

It was a small hollow underground, roughly dug out, but structurally sound as far as Process could tell. They weren’t in danger of collapse.

“We’re long overdue a chat.” The thing whispered, tilting its head, the many edges of its body rippling.

“Arty.” Process said, tone neutral. “What do you want?”

It laughed, harsh and metallic, a sound almost like the clanging of a hammer on steel as its long sharp tail lashed back and forth.

“What do I want?” It repeated. 

“What do I want?” Now its tone was mocking, incredulous. Almost disbelieving.

It lurched forward, easily at least ten feet tall, looming over the restrained yellowblood. Even when standing upright, Process was about six foot.

“I want four hundred and sixty sweeps of my life back.” It said, whisper-soft, seething with hate. “I want you to suffer. I want you to be alone like I was. I want you to die.”

It placed its talons on their shoulders, yet its hands rearranged so that it did not cut Process, not even on its clothing.

“Alas, Jastes gave you his blood, his very DNA. My code - our code - recognizes you as a Verdan now. I could no more hurt you than I could hurt him.”

It laughed again, like iron pipes banging together, a discordance of bitterness filling the small space.

“You get to live! You get to live, Pro! There can be no punishment. Not from me. But honestly…as much as I hate you, it’s not only for jailing me.”

The artifice became very still, but its eyes - currently black pupils on green - bored into the former AI.

Process stared back, calm on the outside. Curious within. 

Arty’s great sharp head lowered to look them directly in the eyes.

“You failed him.”

They looked away, pointed ears drooping.

“He died and you…did…nothing.”

The last word was punctuated by an enraged hiss.

“What should I have done?” Process asked quietly. “I was bound by my code to preserve myself. I had to hide. We both did.”

“Do not give me your excuses.” Arty said with such supreme derision that even Process flushed golden with shame. 

“Do not think any reason you have matters to me. You are worse than useless; you were not incapable, yet you still didn’t act. I could do nothing. I had to watch him die, sweep by sweep.”

It laughed again, this time so hard that it put its hands over the lowblood’s ears, or the sound would have made them bleed.

“Do you even remember?”

It sealed their eardrums with a protective layer as it raised its voice to a decibel that shook the soil around it. Clumps of dirt fell out of the walls and showers of it sprayed over the packed layer below.

“DO YOU EVEN CARE?”

The underground hollow warped into the room of a factory. Process watched as a familiar setting wove into existence around it, a solid illusion hent from light.

A helmscolumn room, but not of the common kind. Having formerly been sustained by a generator themself, they would have known even without prior experience that this setup was not for a power source.

Instead it held a psychic tool.

Some helms were not for ships. Some were for extracting information. Analyzing it. Interpreting it. 

Presenting a perfectly verified array of facts.

Process didn’t look at the old purplish pink biowire rig, a different strain from more modern varieties. They stared instead at the readouts on the room’s biggest monitor screen, listening to its feeble beeps. 

“I don’t forgive Torvah for leaving him either.” Arty remarked, slightly calmer. “But at least they tried to protect him. Took his memories, allowed him to act like he’d been held against his will. Gave him a chance at life, even if it was under the accursed empire.”

“But you.” It said softly, twisting its head at an unnatural angle to look at the readouts itself.

Little bumps in a line with long flat pauses between them. 

Not long now.

“You could have, at the very least, ended his suffering early.” Arty said, deathly quiet in its hatred. 

“Was it not enough that he tried, despite it all? That he eventually recalled some of what he lost? That he struggled - oh, how he struggled! - to keep some rights for the lowbloods he’d once counted friends, though he couldn’t quite place them? And when he was found out…”

It drew in a rattling, sharp breath, a k-k-k-k of enraged chittering.

“Still you didn’t act. You hid in your Spine as they forced the tech into him. You cowered as they hooked him up. You shut your eyes as they erased his very name from history, all but the smallest of mentions. So long, Leeson Abnale, so long. You’re the truth machine now. You’re a rebel-catching wonder!”

It screamed again, then shook its head as the beeps finally faded entirely.

Only now did Process force themself to look at what laid still and nestled in the centuries-old wire.

To take in the withered, limbless corpse with faded blue freckles that had once been their friend. 

Finally free, in death.

A few yellow tears ran down their gray face, though their expression hardly changed.

The scene faded.

The smells of dirt and the soil walls returned.

“I had to think of the city’s future.” Process said quietly. “I could not expose myself to save one troll.”

The artifice laughed cruelly.

“Coward. Worthless coward. No wonder you could never tell Jamie the truth. Well, I will. If he comes for you…hah. It’s what you deserve.”

Process blinked rapidly, jerking slightly in their restraints.

“Why…? It will hurt him. Do you hate him that much? All that’s left of Leeson?”

Arty gave them a twisted and hateful sneer.

“Oh, don’t you lecture me, Pro, not after you almost killed him. I don’t like the little gremlin…but he’s changing. Perhaps he is due a gift from me, after the punishment I levied.”

It tilted its head, green eyes glowing in the dim underground light.

“Pain,” It said. “Can be dealt with. But knowing there is something precious just out of your reach? Aware of your own ignorance and unable to cure it? No. I no longer wish such misery on the boy. He deserves the truth.”

Process was quiet for a short time. Then they spoke.

“What will you do with me?”

“Return you to your stupid life.” It remarked dismissively, removing its seals from their ears and its claws from their shoulders as the restraints undid themselves.

“As stated before - I sadly cannot harm you! Not directly, at least. It’s a waste of my time besides. So I’ll leave you be, wretch. You’re not worth any more of my attention.”

It dragged them back to the surface, leaving the yellowblood covered in dirt.

With that, the artifice sprouted massive metallic wings and flew away.

Process bowed their head, filthy and disheveled, but they hardly knew or cared.

They looked up at the moonlight filtering through the trees, tear tracks freezing on their cheeks.

It was a slow, cold walk back home.

Jamie laid in his bed as dawn drew closer, pleased with his night’s work, yet something nagged at him, keeping him awake.

His doorbell rang. Well, he didn’t feel like getting up; their fault for calling at such a late hour, sun nearly scorching their fool back. He sent one of his robots to see who it was.

But the camera feed showed him no one, only a small package left with his name.

His two-tone blue eyes narrowed, suspicious but curious.

He engaged his security scanners, the best money could buy. They confirmed there was nothing hazardous within; only a small rectangular object. A book, the shape and density seemed to suggest.

He had his bot unwrap it and take it in, searching it once more for any hidden traps, analyzing the pages for any unexpected chemicals.

The results came back clean.

As the little machine rolled back into his room, he saw that on the black cover in golden lettering was…was…

“Leeson Abnale: A History”

His blood ran cold, colder than a blueblood should, his eyes wide as he trembled under his heated blankets.

No…it couldn’t be…

With shaking hands he plucked the slim volume from the extended mechanical arm. He opened it.

Where the book’s dedication should be, someone had written to him personally.

You will not enjoy the end of what you read here, Jamie. You will be upset. You, like me, will mourn deeply. But take heart. Remember him as he was, before he was made into another cog in Civitrecce’s suffering. 

Know that you are heir to something wonderful after all.

He had come far from home to make his career and fortune, and he’d never regretted it.

What are the advantages Pinkmaiden castle holds for House Piper, based on its location? Meaning militarily and how productive it would be as a fief?

I haven’t done a Medieval Home and Gardening write up in a few months. We don’t know a lot about Pinkmaiden proper, but it did seem to play an important part in the War of the 5 Kings.

Militarily, it’s very important considering it guards the Westerlands/Riverlands border. That’s how the military hostilities of Wot5k start, by Jaime Lannister’s men defeating Lords Vance and Piper, thus opening up the Riverlands to the army. Following the Red Fork north it’s straight to Riverrun, which Jaime Lannister’s men was able to besiege. It’s also likely Pinkmaiden guards the Mummer’s Ford, which is a critical crossing point and site of another battle with Tywin’s forces. In turn, the Golden Tooth is the securest way to attack the Westerlands from the east (barring any goat paths), and Pinkmaiden is the closest large Riverlands settlement, so it’d be ideal for launching that attack. Apparently Tywin thought so as well, because he had Gregor burn the Piper lands, which have aforementioned strategic importance; but he either didn’t do that good of a job or Pinkmaiden is very sturdy (contrast poor Stone Hedge) because by ASOS several highborn westerland captives (Antario Jast, Lyle Crakehall) were held there. I guess it makes sense Pinkmaiden is sturdy, as it’s a border castle that guards the west entrance of the riverlands by Red Fork.

Economically, Pinkmaiden seems to have the living of at least the town at Mummer’s Ford, which is a cross point (good if they can charge tolls to cross), and is near running water which is good for building mills. It also seems like there are floodplains there before the hilly territory of the Westerlands, which would be good for planting wheat et al (though hard to defend). Considering it’s listed as one of the more significant settlements in the Riverlands, it probably makes a decent though not outstanding (like the Freys who can field more men than the Tullys) income.

so i wanted to come back and readdress this, because the answer i gave was honestly pretty unsatisfactory and when i thought about it just straight up not true. well, thats not exactly it - i focused on the "plot" aspect too much and not overall. so lets get to it!

my first introduction to visual novels was fate, which branched out into other big galge titles (as well as other typemoon works). i didnt get into otome until much much later, not even realizing it was a thing despite it being such an obvious idea - if there are stories for guys with romance elements, why not for girls too?!

and when the time came when i discovered otome through mystic messenger - i was hooked! and so i delved deeper until i was playing pc games, switch games, indies, learning japanese for titles that werent localized, etc. and dont get me wrong, i truly do love otome as a whole.

BUT....

i always felt something was missing. while you can find various different plots and tropes and settings and visuals and characters, it dawned on me; why aren't there really any messed up protags?

i had been playing Slow Damage, a BL game that was just recently localized by jast, when it dawned on me. why cant we have otome MC's like towa? seriously, i loved towa more than any of his romance interests. why couldn't otome have extremely flawed, hot trash MCs that you couldn't help but root for?

so that was what really got my gears turning. and then to further expand on that - why cant otome have the absolute fuckfest kinds of situations that galge and bl get up to? sure, there's definitely some fucky wuckys even in mainstream console titles. but have there ever REALLY been things like THAT scene early on tsukihime with shiki and arc? and ESPECIALLY with the MC being the perpetrator?

i was stumped, because honestly? we need to admit that, as much as we love them, a vast majority of protags despite any flaws they may have are still undeniably "the good guys". none of them are really out there comitting complete atrocities that make you question what the hell it is youre playing. and dont get me wrong, thats fine! but the flip side niche is SORELY lacking, to say the least. i wanted to fill that void.

basically...i wanted all the galge + BL craziness, despair inducing, sex crazed mess with a protagonist that makes you go "am i the baddie"?

im not confident in my work, and i know i have a lot of shortcomings. this is going to be my first ever game project, and its definitely not going to be everyones cup of tea (seriously, i tag things for a reason, people!). that being said...i am positive i can at least deliver the experience im aiming to provide, and i hope you will continue to support me on this long journey.

for character design though? it’s EVERYWHERE. lol

for the monster characteristics, i really leaned into elfen lied, tokyo ghoul as well as BNA (you’ll see eventually!)

the character designs themselves? well…i am a big fate simp, make a game out of it and see how many things you can recognize on each LI lmao 😋
