Soooooooo... saw you exploring the concept of "who knows about Danny's patron" once more
and connecting back to my lucio's reaction ask [here], I thought about how all the M6 would react to that knowledge
I'm also gonna link you talking about this and this bc i feel like it's related :3
THANK YOU FOR LINKING i really appreciate that a lot ill also link this one that I've posted since I got this ask
ok so I'm gonna list them and explain when they figure it out and how they react to it then (i am eepy so sorry if this seems disjointed but hey we don't choose when the spark comes do we AND I might redo these later if I think of more well thought out answers later)
Asra
They definitely had their suspicions after he was able to break those chains and bind The Devil but it didn't truly click with him until Danny got his familiar. then he was just kind of like... ohhh. okay that makes sense. he doesnt see it as a negative thing, he's very open minded- especially when it comes to magic and its mysterious ways. basically just... gestures at this fic. it's something he knows quite a bit before Danny does but he lets him figure it out himself, and theyre patient with him because they understand it must be hard to learn you're associated with the guy that quite literally tried to fuck everything up. they do actually see it as a positive thing. like, a challenge in his perspective which he always enjoys, if that makes any sense. in conclusion it doesn't put him off in the slightest even though Danny thinks it really should
Nadia
its hard to say because it's not something she's necessarily looking for. she's a smart lady! she just doesn't have the familiarity with Tarot that say, Asra does, so she doesn't necessarily have the knowledge to put it together besides the card games she would play with her sisters as a kid- and even then that was a completely different deck. that being said her intuition game is insane so she has a *feeling*. you know. she knows there's more to him than there appears to be but I don't think it'd click until he came to her with that information. and- something to note is Danny's associations with this card- well they aren't great. he's only an apprentice after all and he doesn't quite get the nuances completely yet. he has very black and white thinking at times. so he himself takes this as a very negative thing- especially considering everything The Devil has done to everyone. so he's kind of a nervous wreck telling her this but he trusts her and feels like she should know. anyway how Nadia takes it is. kind of like "oh I just knew Lucio was too incompetent to be associated with him" like it makes a lot of sense to her. Danny's smart! so was The Devil. Lucio is well... Lucio. Nadia would also have quite a bit of wisdom about it I think. she really kind of grounds him in that way when he's torn up over it I guess. she's just kind of like "well. destiny is a nice thought but you do have free will so dont worry about this meaning youre secretly evil. youre just Danny and you always will be" i think she's said things in a similar vain before. ALSO ALSO her choice for his masquerade outfit ended up making more sense in hindsight. she does have a feel for these things sometimes without realizing it... like giving Lucio a dog mask. I feel like I did a whole lot of yapping and said a whole lot of nothing with this one. point is she takes it with grace and its not something she's worried about or shocked by
Julian
I'm struggling here because it's not a belief system he seems to be super invested in. sure he asks for a tarot reading in the prologue but he's always been more of a science guy and he quite literally doesn't know magic when he's staring it in the cauldron- so I don't know exactly how he would process this information? (as for how he learns- he's absolutely not figuring this out himself so Danny comes to him with this) and for the reason of confusion I feel like he'd take it the hardest. Danny's worried and Danny's a skilled magician, right? he really knows what hes talking about. so this has GOT to be bad, or he wouldn't be so worked up, right? and i mean, The Devil is the bad guy in so many fables. what's going to happen to him? is there any way they can stop it? should they just give up trying and stop worrying and give into their "true nature" (woohoo hanged man trait) whatever that means? he doesnt know. he doesnt know how this magic system works. he just tells Danny not to worry about it, just ignore it, but he does plenty of worrying for the both of them. walks on eggshells for a bit. keeps making accidental goat puns and putting his foot in his mouth. goes to Asra for advice. Asra tells him to chill the fuck out. you know how it is
Muriel
he's not... surprised when Danny comes to him. he's known for forever, because of his prophetic visions. he just gave up telling him because he always forgot anyway, and he didn't tell Asra because he didn't want them to take it the wrong way. but it's always something that made him... wary of Danny. he's had dreams of him absorbing The Devil's heart and taking over the world (vision of Lucios reversed end) and he's had visions of he and Asra being stranded in another dimension after making a deal with him (Asras reversed end) ...but he's also had visions of him sailing the world with Julian. or hell, even finding safety with Muriel himself. he's really wary because he doesn't quite know what to expect from him and it makes him nervous- not necessarily because he's The Devil, just, in general, but that association definitely doesn't put him at ease considering Lucio's obsession with him. Muriel hates goats because of it. but, when Danny comes to him he's just kind of like "I know" which catches him off guard and he's just kind of like "didn't see the point in telling you" which Danny's like okay fair, however-
Portia
oh she thinks it's so cool when Danny tells her. she already thought it was cool he came back from the dead (i believe the words she used were "zombie magician") and she treats it like one of her romance novels with the tortured and mysterious love interest. she's just like oh. well now you're even more charming. like a vampire. youre more complex now. WHICH IS NOT HOW DANNY THOUGHT SHED REACT. but she does think it's super cool (her only context for what The Devil is is, The Goat Guy so she sees it as like. you were supposed to be his henchman and then you weren't. if that makes sense) he insists that this isn't a good thing and she insists that he could literally murder someone and she would still love him (platonically or romantically!)
Lucio
JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS he really did identify with that card and he's devastated to learn it's not actually his and he got a "lame" card instead. but it does piss him off a lot because he hates being, what he perceives to be anything but "one of a kind" or "first place" at anything. why does he wanna be a card that sounds like such an insult when he could be a cool goat instead? it's no fair! he would call Arcana managers if he could but instead he settles for- depending on the route either chokes out a "congratulations" which surprises Danny or, if it's Lucio's route, he figures oh well if you can't be em date em. little does he realize just how special his own card is. because he's. well he's stupid. anyway he'd be lying if he said it didn't make him love Danny more
god I hope that makes sense it is 1 am LTDYDLLYDYRYL THIS WAS FUN THANK YOU

Scorpio Season: Embracing Transformation
Scorpio Season October 23 - November 21
As the days grow shorter and colder, Scorpio Season sweeps over us. Between October 23 and November 21, Scorpio Season is a time of introspection, intense emotions and transformation. This astrological season brings a set of energies that asks us to reflect on our own power. Here we will shed light on the dark mysteries of Scorpio Season.
Symbol: The Scorpion Modality: Fixed Element: Water Ruling Planet: Pluto, Mars Colors: Dark Red, Black Body: genitals, reproductive organs, bladder Tarot Card: Death
Power • Sex • Introspection • Intensity • Death
During the middle of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, Scorpio Season begins. The sun’s heat and light are beginning to fade, and darkness will outweigh the daylight hours. Scorpio’s connection with inward reflection, the shadows and transformation is reflected in the mystery and darkness of the autumn season. Scorpio is associated with beginnings and ends, and isn’t afraid of them either. It’s during Scorpio’s time that many cultures observe themes of death and rebirth, in holidays like Halloween Samhain, All Saints Day, and El Día de Los Muertos.
Scorpio should not be taken lightly. There is an intense, serious heir to Scorpio. The scorpion is Scorpio’s symbol. Scorpios lie in and wait to strike when it’s least expected. They inflict stings with their tails, and are considered cunning or vengeful.
In Greek Mythology, the Scorpion is associated with the death of Orion. There are many versions of this tale, but the one connected to Scorpio tells the tale of Orion, who bragged that he could kill all the animals in the wild kingdom. The Earth goddess Gaia objected and sent a Scorpion to stop Orion, which he confronted, but died when the Scorpion stung him. The Scorpion was placed in the sky for his service and valiant fight.
Originally, Scorpio was ruled by Mars, which found its nocturnal home in the brooding and secret Scorpio. Mars has warrior-like tendencies, but these powers are more secretive in the darkness of Scorpio. It has a cool, calculated anger and drive. Scorpio is more patient than the brash and brazen Aries, which shares Mars as its planet.
As Pluto was discovered in 1930, it was named for the god of the underworld. Since its dark themes of power, destruction and inner discovery were similar to themes of Scorpio, modern astrologers assigned Pluto as its co-ruler. Combined with the assertive power of Mars, Scorpio is uniquely suited to confront and transform personal and collective trauma.
The Tarot Card associated with Scorpio is Death. This card can seem ominous, but it rarely means actual death. It more points to a transformative phase in life. The principal of death is letting go. We can observe the phenomenon of transformation and rebirth in nature, and on an internal soul level. This card reminds us that this process of change and growth is nothing to fear. Once we recognize it as a time of surrender to a cycle, we can trust and flow with it. Death is not the end, but only a passage through a world of mystery and shadow that allows us to embrace the fullness of life.
As a fixed sign, Scorpio holds the elemental energy of endurance and stability. They can direct their intense laser focus into their work, projects and relationships. As a result, they have powers to uncover hidden truths. Scorpio’s sense of purpose is about looking at life's shadows to uncover hidden truth and to attain power. The voice of depth, mystery, and intuition comes forward in the Scorpio mantra: I transform.
Scorpios are often mistaken for fire signs, due to their passion and power. But Scorpios are also known for their wise and intuitive nature, which is what makes it clear that they are a water sign. Scorpios are associated with deep, intense emotions and inner awareness. Think of the dark, unexplored depths of the ocean.
Scorpio is about introspection, intensity and intimacy. Scorpios actively live their lives exploring the unseen depths of the soul. Scorpios are often passionate, determined, and fiercely independent. Their intensity is often accompanied by a strong sense of mystery and natural inclination toward transforming.
When a Scorpio cares for someone, they do so deeply. There is no casual with them. They want to know everything about their partners, friends, and family. They can seem a bit controlling, but it’s out of wanting to protect their loved ones.
They are relentless. If they find their passion, there is no stopping them. When they’re faced with problems, their razor-sharp intellect will find outside the box solutions and flexible work-arounds. Scorpios are very calculating, and are constantly plotting several steps ahead to orchestrate their wins. Their intentions aren’t wicked, but they know what they want and aren’t afraid to work long and hard to get it.
Curiosity of Scorpios is unmeasurable, which makes them such adept investigators. They love to probe and know how to get to the bottom of things. Their keen sense of intuition helps. There is no shocking them. The more sick, twisted or disturbing, the more they are curious about it.
Scorpios are extremely loyal. Just don’t stab them in the back, because they will get revenge, no matter how long it takes.
How Can Scorpio Season Affect You?
Scorpio Season encourages us to turn our attention inward. It’s a time when we’re prompted to confront our fears, insecurities and buried emotions. As the leaves fall in the Northern Hemisphere, we can, too, shed our old patterns, beliefs and attachments. Letting go of those things can make room for personal growth and transformation.
Hidden and buried secrets are often brought to the surface. Scandals pop up. These revelations, depending on what level they are exposed, lead to personal or societal transformations. People begin to prioritize growth over stagnation. This could easily manifest as changes in social justice movements, environmental concerns, or power structures. People tend to come together during challenging times, and Scorpio's influence encourages a deeper emotional connection, fostering a sense of unity and resilience.
During this season, we are infused with a sense of purpose and determination. This intense focus, when used for the right things, can give us a chance to work toward our goals and projects with unwavering dedication.
The death and rebirth cycle is prominent now, mirroring the cycle of nature. We can shed old identities, relationships or habits and emerge stronger, wiser and more resilient. It’s a powerful time for introspection. We’re invited to confront our fears and emerge from the season reborn and renewed. Welcome opportunities for self-discovery and evolution that Scorpio Season brings into our lives.
Here are a few ways we can honor Scorpio Season and Samhain:
Release rituals for letting go of what is no longer serving us. Find a quiet or sacred space. Light a candle or incense. Mediate or sit quietly for a few moments. Think about or write down what you want to let go of. If you have written things down, burn the piece of paper in the flame of the candle, or speak out loud that you wish to release whatever it is.
Utilize water. Scorpio is a water sign, so connecting with water in some way is meaningful. Sit by a river or ocean to cleanse your energy. Take a mindful shower or bath to emphasize cleansing yourself. Visualize negative emotions being washed away. Replace with clarity and emotional healing.
Write down what you’re grateful for. Gratitude is always a way to shift your focus toward the positive and promote inner growth.
Shadow Work involves delving into your unconscious or hidden aspects, acknowledging them, and integrating them into your conscious self. Reflect on your fears, insecurities, and acknowledge your desires. Journal your findings and create affirmations to heal and empower yourself.
Tarot or Oracle reading will help us to gain insights into our inner world. The veil between the realms is thin, so meditating on guidance and wisdom from your ancestors or spirit guides may be particularly helpful.
Journal Prompts for Scorpio Season:
🖤 Are there any hidden desires that I have been avoiding or suppressing? 🖤 Have I been keeping secrets from myself and others? How can I find the courage to confront these secrets and release their hold on me? 🖤 Are there any relationships of mine that require more honesty and vulnerability to deepen the emotional connection? 🖤 What role does power play in my life? How can I use power responsibly and effectively to create positive change? 🖤 What goals and projects am I most passionate about? How can I channel intensity to achieve them? Is there anything that I want to accomplish by the end of Scorpio Season? 🖤 Are there any old habits or beliefs that I need to let go of to facilitate personal growth and transformation? What are they, and what steps can I take to release them? Can I use this energy to heal and release past traumas or emotional baggage? 🖤 What aspects of my life need a deep transformation or rebirth? Can I take steps to initiate this process? 🖤 Explore your relationship with the concept of death and rebirth. How can this understanding and acceptance of the inevitability of change and transformation impact your life in a positive way?

Seventy-Four: Five of Pentacles (Reversed)
Real cases of suffering ... tend to go unheard. This is not only because people who are genuinely suffering typically lack the resources with which to publicize their condition, but also because ... many forms of suffering deprive people of the very ability to express, sometimes even think, the fact that they are suffering. -Jamie Mayerfeld, Suffering and Moral Responsibility
He had a fever when he was in Spain, And when the fit was on him, I did mark How he did shake; 'tis true, this god did shake: His coward lips did from their colour fly, And that same eye whose bend doth awe the world Did lose his lustre. -William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
When a rule is enforced, the person who is supposed to have broken it may be seen as a special kind of person, one who cannot be trusted to live by the rules agreed upon by the group. He is regarded as an outsider. But the person who is thus labeled an outsider may have a different view of the matter. He may not accept the rule by which he is being judged and may not regard those who judge him as either competent or legitimately entitled to do so. -Howard S. Becker, Outsiders: Studies in the Sociology of Deviance
Have I stopped misposting? Okay. Good.
The overarching theme for the home straight of Tarot has been that of challenges. The Two and Five of Cups were the challenge to look at the undercurrent of much of this journey, that of coming to terms with my self-esteem; a process that is continuing. This card, the Five of Pentacles, on the other hand, is a reminder of another challenge for me: the ability to synthesise and find the meaning and application of the cards. Being of the Pentacles, and the last of them, it is apt that it talks to the physicality of the cards in this regard.
So, while I'm still looking to June 13, the blog's tenth anniversary, as a "deadline", I've not felt ready to deal with this card; and now I have a scant two weeks for the remaining four cards, some of which I know will require a lot of work (I feel like that this will play into the Eight of Wands, when it appears...). The challenge since returning to the blog post-migration is that I feel like I've not been able to tap into my intuition, that it's been dulled, and thus I've not been able to address the card and its energies in a way that I feel is fair and deep enough to crystallise my understanding and be a guidepost for future reference; similarly, some of the cards for me are faded memories and have regained unfamiliarity. That's why I lament when I feel like my posts become academic exercises, like a lecturer has asked me to "compare and contrast the approaches Bunning, Thirteen and Esselmont have on this card". But sometimes, that's all I can do, because I don't know the card; yet through that, I find some understanding.
The Five of Pentacles is a card that exemplifies this. In the way that Temperance was the first card I drew when I made my notebook, the Five of Pentacles is the second. Its notes are lacking the depth and maturity of the past ten years of experience, and partly because it was before the blog, I don't have a memorable, relatable moment to attach it to. My notes' depth of interpretation is weak, and the format I've written here seems incongruent with the standard that has since emerged; yet, I remind myself that much of the writing has come from my intuition rather than my intellect, my subconscious speaking to my conscious. The interpretations written in my book are just one foundation to my Tarot understanding: this journal is, as I intended long ago, designed to flesh this out and provide a means for new insights and greater familiarity.
Existential writing aside, let's actually take the time to look at this card. So be it, then. Extending beyond my usual four muses, Smith's imagery in the RWS version is apparently regarded as one of the most famous; I would disagree since it didn't really strike me outside of Tarot, but I would rather call it one of the most iconic, and that goes back to the very root of that word as well: icons. Given that Tarot is full of symbology, this image forms the basis of many, many interpretations of this card. Rather than derive at a meaning from my muses, I'm not going to source my interpretation because it seems so prevalent, and because it's taken from the story the card tells in the RWS imagery: two ailing peasants in the cold, trying to fend for themselves and suffering in the process outside the window of a church that they don't even look to, where there is warmth and sanctuary. That then lends itself to views ranging from lacking emotional security of one's childhood (thanks Ediya) to being too proud to accept help from others and failing as a result. From this central artistic theme is where we can then look at how my muses address it.
Let's start with Thirteen, because they discuss their cards systematically in the context of the whole. The card is a Five, and it is the instability that follows from the stability (or stagnation) of a Four. Just like the Page of Swords, they tend to be humbling challenges that will strengthen those who go through them. So since the Pentacles are that of the material realm, this card feels like it is the brother to the Five of Cups: if that one is the card of loss (and how one deals with it), then this is the card of lack. Lack is what Bunning focuses on with her themes: "hard times", especially financial hardship, "ill health", since Pentacles relates to the body after all, and "rejection", the lack of social acceptance. Esselmont expands on these, but then adds her own take: that of a "lack mindset" or fearing one doesn't have enough, where one focuses on what they don't have rather on what they do. To this all, Thirteen suggests that to deal with these energies, one should reconsider their values and focus on what one has; that the hardship teaches who one's friends truly are, who is honestly generous, and what really matters to someone.
And then we get to the Tarot Nova and Fairchild and Paschkis. Fairchild just gives all of this a glib, seemingly off-handed remark, with the majority of his prescription being that of one's hard's work and devotion to others not paying off and that one should let others know what one expects in return. That seems to go rather at odds to the accepted "canon" here. Indeed, Paschkis throws out the traditional imagery and doesn't allude to it at all: she shows a crocodile with five Pentacles on it as if it were a constellation. Compared to the richness of the RWS image I find it lacking (hah); however, the image of the toothy crocodile coming to consume is one that I can see linked to the more common themes of the card.
In my head I had thought that this card would be linked to The Tower or some other sort of loss and I was fearing it; but, this card has come out Reversed and this is one of those times that I feel like a Reversal is like night and day. Of course, that means I should temper my view to not be in complete opposition, but more in terms of the day following the night. Thirteen, in typical Thirteen style, focuses on the church and the ability of being that sanctuary; except nope, it ain't there, the peasants are on their own, cold and alone. And that's not what I'm finding right now; that's not day after night. So Fairchild and Esselmont are where I go again. Here I find more resonance, and it's woven through a lot of their prescriptions and analyses. The thought of not having enough expands into a "poverty mindset", where one feels unworthy because of their lack of possessions, that they do not deserve expensive things, that their money is spent on the trivial and not on what one desires; the call here is to determine if "I can't afford it" is a truth or a limiting factor, and that one will make it happen if they truly value it. I've been a little more outgoing with my money as of late, especially since I just went to a convention, yet I know I have debts that must be repaid. Speaking of this: Fairchild talks about a new source of income, and Esselmont talks about the end of hard times. I applied for a credit card for the first time ever and after a few weeks of silence, I was approved. Of course, it's not really a source of income, but a means to delay payments; I'm naturally cautious about it but considering that the bank offers cashback, it's a nice thing to have, and will help allow me to get a credit rating and potentially bigger purchases in the future.
But Fairchild leaves one of his esoteric yet resonant prescriptions: to learn the value of self-discipline and teamwork since they will bring rewards, and to express oneself as they choose despite others trying to make one conform. I feel this is related to my work, and it is something that I have been working on as I move through my new managerial position.
So the thing I've learned from this card is that I shouldn't be afraid of Fives; I should treat them like the Page of Swords and think of them as a challenge. Also, with this card, I've completed the Fives and also the Pentacles. The thing about the Pentacles is that it feels like it has a narrative that runs through the entire pips, and that the Five is the turning point of the tale. I would argue that it's my favourite of the four suits given its themes and internal reflections based on this critical mid-point: everything after this point is redemption and success with mature, positive energies in the Upright compared to the immature energies that come before this one.
Four cards remain and I must press on, finally feeling ready to do so. The next challenge lies with the card that I thought would be last, the redeemer, the nice departure for the blog: XXI The World. But it's Reversed. And as it is, of all the cards in the deck, The World is the card that I currently know and relate to the least. Herein lies the challenge.

[PICK A CARD] WHAT IS THE PERSON ON YOUR MIND’S THOUGHTS, FEELINGS AND INTENTIONS TOWARDS YOU?
Hello lovelies~ ♡
This is a pick a card reading for “what is their thoughts, feelings and intentions towards you”. Think of a person and note that this is a timeless reading and you’re meant to see this right now! Please do find peace if it doesn’t resonate with you~ ♡
So take a few minutes to mediate on these 4 piles:
Left to right: 1 - 4
Once you’re ready, just scroll below to find the reading that you have chosen!
You can always leave a comment or simply like the post if it resonates with you, thank you so much~ ♡♡♡
Pile 1:
Tarot: The Star, 6 of Pentacles, 10 of Wands
Oracle: PEACEFUL RESOLUTION // TAKE ACTION
Emotions are a natural and necessary part of life, but they can also distort your perception and cloud your vision. In order to see things clearly, you must let go of resentment.
HEALING – Imagine yourself and your beloved surrounded by light. Feel your relationship being healed this very moment.
You may not always understand why certain things happen, however there is always a higher purpose to the events in your life. Through turmoil, a blessing will soon be revealed.
Deep in your heart, you already know the answer. DO what feels right.
Okay, darling, I feel like your person thinks very highly of you. I feel like there is this sense of seeing you as someone who is very popular, very well-known, someone who is like the shining bright star in the night sky. They definitely think very highly of you and in fact, I feel like they see you as a very healing energy. I do feel that this person might have some heavy burdens on them, be it if it’s within this connection or outside of this connection, and that your connection with him has definitely helped them to heal past traumas and hurt. It’s like upon interaction with you, they are kind of forced to see their shadow side which they have been avoiding for so long. Or that previously they would have avoided, but now, it’s like your energy has allowed them to face this shadow side and to start healing from their past. I do feel that they definitely see you as someone who is very generous. And that they are feeling apologetic for how they have treated you in the past. They want to make it up to you. They understand that it was their problem in the past and that they want to make up all of the hurts that they have caused upon you. It’s like maybe this person has ran away or pulled out of this connection, ghosted or blocked you and it kind of make you question yourself what is it that you’ve done wrong. But darling, it wasn’t you, it was them. And they now know that they were the issue. I feel like maybe deep down you’ve understood this point as well, but you’ve been so understanding of their circumstances and continuously being that supportive and healing energy around them. I’m sorry is what I’m hearing and I feel like they do have some inner work that they have to do first. But I definitely do see them coming in again, darling, and I feel like they would apologise for whatever wrongs that they have done to you in the past. It’s honestly up to you if you want to take them back into your life, but darling, there will be a peaceful resolution for this connection eventually. And if this is someone that you are currently with, they want you to give them a bit more time, they will soon open up why they’ve been acting this way. They have some inner work and inner healing to do first, but they truly hope that you will continue to be the supportive and caring energy around them for now, till they are ready to come in. And like I’ve mentioned, it’s truly up to you darling, but this peaceful resolution will help you to restore certain balance in your life. Whatever wrong will be corrected, and this person will come forward and offer this apology to you.
Pile 2:
Tarot: Queen of Swords, Page of Swords, Justice
Oracle: LET GO // IN THE NEAR FUTURE // TRUST
Look deep within your heart and you will feel my love. My love for you is as deep as the ocean.
Let there be closeness between you but always give each other space. Love never claims, it simply allows and gives.
SURRENDER – At times we must surrender the old before something new can enter our lives. Let go and all will work out.
Give thanks for the blessings of love soon to come your way. Know that you deserve to be and have all that your heart truly desires.
Now, darling, there is a lot of air energies here, so either you or your person has strong air in your charts. Else, I’m also getting the message that this person thinks of you a lot. And I do feel that they will never admit it but they definitely think of you a lot. I feel like they definitely see you as someone who knows what you want. You are intelligent, smart, and you set those healthy boundaries. You don’t let others take advantage of you, as naïve or as pure you might seem to be on the outside. They definitely do feel that below that pure and innocent image, you are someone who is very strong and tough and you know what exactly you want so you don’t let others get the best of you. This person, if it’s a romantic interest, does have interest in you but they don’t seem to express it. Or they might be afraid to express it because they are afraid that you don’t feel the same way for them or that they feel like they might get hurt while expressing themselves on a very emotional level. If this is the case, note that this is someone who might have been hurt previously or they might feel inferior towards you and that they feel like they can’t express themselves on a very emotional level towards you. And if this is a platonic connection, I do feel that they find you to be very intriguing. It’s like how can someone who just seems so nice, but deep down, you just don’t tolerate bullshit. And you know what is it that you want. They want to learn from you, especially in regards to your attitude and they are very amazed at your own standards and how you set those standards not just for the people around you, but for yourself as well. I feel like in regards to their intentions, this honestly can be a 50 – 50. I do feel for those who are asking about a romantic interest, this person is more so trying to leave it to the divine. I feel like as much as they do have feelings for you (and honestly, I’m seeing deep feelings here, but maybe they themselves don’t really understand them right now), they are just going to surrender and leave it to the divine. I do feel that they might feel that they are not worthy of you, or that they might not be your cup of tea as well. I also do feel that another group of them, is more so waiting for a sign from the Universe, or maybe it’s from you as well. I feel like they want to know how you feel and that they are trusting in the Universe that if this is really meant to be, there will be a sign from the Universe. So, I do feel that they are going to let go of control issues and trust the signs that are coming in for them. Regardless, this person’s intentions are very much focus on the divine. It’s like if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. And I feel like if this is a friend that you are asking for, they definitely do feel that this connection is going to be long-term. And I feel like they definitely see you in their life in the long run. If there has been a falling out with this friend, they are currently trying to release certain past karmas, and in the near future, things are going to come together. I do feel that the Universe is also asking you to have faith and trust in this connection that it is going to withstand the obstacle of time, darling!
Pile 3:
Tarot: 8 of Pentacles, 7 of Pentacles, 6 of Wands
Oracle: WITHIN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS // COMPROMISE
MANIFESTING MIRACLES – Your dream is soon to become reality. Trust your heart and continue to follow its guidance.
WAIT! – Don’t rush into it. Allow nature to take its course.
FORGIVENESS – Stop focusing your energy on past events, for life is too precious to waste. You create your reality by what you think, dream and imagine.
TRUST – Transformation occurs through acceptance. Once you accept the current situation, it will automatically transform.
Okay, darling, there is a lot of pentacles energy here, so maybe work is significant for you and this person, or that maybe both of you met at work. But the overall idea I’m getting is that this connection has been very slow-moving but very stable as well. I feel like it just feels like nothing much has changed within this connection on the surface, but actually a lot of things have changed deep down, in a good way. Because only by doing so, can you then build things on a more solid and stable ground. I do feel that this person definitely sees you as someone who is very hardworking. So, especially if both of you work in the same place, they definitely admire and appreciate the hard work that you put into your work and your job. I do feel that if this is a romantic interest, this person’s feelings are growing in a very slow but steady manner for you. And it’s so slow to the point that I honestly don’t feel like they actually understand how much you mean to them. I feel like they might have been pretty used to having you around. I do feel that these feelings are constantly growing and that maybe you’ve been manifesting this person as well. And if you’ve been trying to manifest this person, the angels want you to know that your dream is soon to become a reality but you have to trust this process and that everything is going to unfold itself. And I’m seeing it happening within the next 6 – 8 weeks, honestly. I feel like things are going to progress quicker as time goes by as well. And if this is a friend you’re asking about, I feel like they definitely feel that this connection is worth the investment and that they are seeing this connection going to continue in the long run as well. I do feel that they see you as a miracle in their life and they are very grateful and thankful to have you in their lives. I do feel that for most of you, things are really going to start to progress and improve within the next few weeks, 4 weeks, I am hearing. Else, it could be within the next 6 – 8 weeks. Summer seems to be a very significant season here as well. I just feel that for those who are asking for a romantic interest, this person is going to come forward. And I feel like they want to bring forth certain success and victory into this connection. I feel like if this person hasn’t been very balance in their energies with you in this connection, they would want to make that compromise with you. I do feel that they are pretty sorry for not treating you right in the past, and that they want to make it up to you. If this is the case, forgive them if you want to and honestly, it’s up to you if you want them back into your life. But remember, forgiveness is always for yourself and not for the other party. I do feel that a compromise has to be made here because balance and harmony is definitely needed within this connection, be it if it’s a romantic interest or a platonic connection. I do feel that things weren’t very balanced in the past, and what is to come within the next 4 – 8 weeks is the achievement of balance and harmony. I feel like things are going to transform slowly but steadily and you are asked to trust in this process, darling. Things are really going to be aligned in your favour, and this is something that you’ve been manifesting for a long time, so please don’t give up now, darling, trust!
Pile 4:
Tarot: The High Priestess, 8 of Cups, 9 of Pentacles
Oracle: OPPORTUNITY // LOOK FOR A SIGN
Life is a series of constantly shifting cycles. When we resist change, we resist the natural flow of life and create unnecessary stress. Go with the flow – you will be surprised where it leads.
LOOK INSIDE YOURSELF – Examine what is causing you to feel this way.
A MESSAGE FOR YOU – I’m thinking of you this very moment. Your love fills me with light. I love you.
ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
Now, darling, for most of you, I’m getting a no-contact or separation situation. And if you don’t resonate with this, maybe you can try a different pile because this pile just may not be for you. I feel like this person on your mind sees you as someone who is very highly intuitive and that you are someone who is in your power. But more often than not, this person sees you as someone who is very secretive. And it’s not in a very bad way, in fact it is very alluring and charming to your person but I feel like sometimes you might have kept things to yourself too much that it makes it difficult for this person to truly communicate their needs and wants to you. I feel like this person does love you, be it if it’s a romantic interest or a platonic connection, but I’m hearing disappointment. I feel like this person might have felt that you were never ready to open up to them, or that they can never get you to open up to them and that there are feelings of sadness, of disappointment when they are being reminded of you. I feel like this person feels that this connection is constantly in some sort of cycle and it’s just hard to simply break free from it, because there are no changes on either side. Honestly, I feel like it’s not just you, I feel like they do have their own problems but they are not seeing it clearly either. I do feel that while they do have feelings (and I’m feeling that they currently still have feelings), they aren’t going to act on it for now. I feel like they are more so going to focus more on themselves. In this sense, I feel like they are intending to just put in the work and focus on themselves and leave this situation behind. I do feel that they feel that if this connection is meant to be, both of you would eventually come back together again, but of course, this is only due in time. I do feel that they are currently trying to put in the focus on their career and finances and just trying to leave this situation behind. And darling, I’m hearing that if you’ve been confused about this situation on whether if you should stay and move on, this is a sign that you should move on and work on yourself as well. It’s not entirely your fault that this connection didn’t work out. It honestly takes two hands to clap in any forms of connections, and while it’s not entirely your fault, it’s important for you to examine the part that you’ve played in this connection. Learn and grow from these lessons, darling, and again, if this connection is meant to be, it will eventually happen in the future. You’ve just got to be patient and in the meantime, work and focus on yourself first, darling!

with pleasure ✍️ i had an idea.
♡ His POV: How Would Your Bias View You During Sex?
pick a signature aesthetic to find your reading for any group member of your choice.
candied apples — pile I
a grand piano — pile II
many love letters — pile III
your favorite shell-shaped teacup — pile IV
a rose garden — pile V
⚠️ warnings // 18+ content, a little spicy here and there 🌶
🍎 PILE I
THE SUN / 9 OF CUPS / 3 OF COINS — What can I say. An all-round wholesome experience, much like a toast to life at its very best. He likes your smile, confidence, and creativity in bed. This is textbook happy sex we’re talking about, he’s highly invested in working on making you feel so comfortable, blissed out completely. Everything is perfectly relaxed and pleasant. You’re the sweetest to him, a very cheerful, sympathetic, and healthy person. How warm your skin is leaves a big impression. It could be tan, very prominent or sun-kissed otherwise, in either way he absolutely loves it.
What your body looks to him is nothing short of a masterpiece, he knows you take good care of yourself. You’re delicious, sensual, and orgasmic to him. The absence of all pressure and stress he’s so grateful for, though mind you: He still feels ambitious about keeping the good vibes up. ME becomes a WE, you are a good team and instinctively feel what pleases the other person. You’re so confident, you can go at it in the broadest daylight and he thinks that’s so sexy. So much laughter and good hours. Call him Justin Timberlake because it’s all in sync. This pile is enviable.
🎹PILE II
QUEEN OF SWORDS / THE HERMIT / THE STAR — You’re really in control of him, display your single-mindedness and wit, talk dirty and own it, compel him, make yourself heard. “Damn, so experienced!” is what he’ll think all the time, your talent and authority in sensual things is hard to deny. All that toughness and how you know your body inside out, he likes it. At the same time, you also feel innocent and ethereal, pondering, very soothing. Two birds with one stone, best of both worlds. He needs some time to process how ideal you are for him. Actually, he thinks you’re the celebrity.
This is an overwhelming experience but he’ll make sense of it later on. After reflecting on it, he feels refreshed and inspired by you. There’s something about you that inspires a lot of trust and competence. So when he feels shy, he leaves it all to you because you are so capable and extremely smart. Meanwhile, he knows you didn’t have sex for a long time so this feels like a fresh start, and almost like him getting to be the one to take your virginity so it’s special to him. This is gonna be pretty wet and out-of-the-ordinary sex, he’s all down for that.
💌 PILE III
QUEEN OF CUPS / KING OF SWORDS / 4 OF COINS — That you complement him well is already clear to him from the get-go. A royal couple is how it feels like to him. He sees that you’re very emotional and wants to show you what to do so there’s no reason to hold back. You feel very graceful like a swan, shy, well-dressed (in your underwear or the regular clothes you arrived with) and sentimental to him, but also structured. Steely, even, he knows you hide it deep inside and it’s waiting for the right occasion and the right words from him.
Something very poised and assured but also understated, that’s the way he will put it. Oh, the curiosity you give him. The overall energy here is that he feels accepted and bring out the best in you, hidden treasures and even a more bossy and badass streak, while also delighting in your feelings. He keeps coming back for more because you never show him your full capacity: Which makes him entirely hooked and determined. He wants you entirely for himself, you make the guy possessive as hell.
☕️ PILE IV
3 OF WANDS / WHEEL OF FORTUNE / 10 OF CUPS — Sex with you makes him realize what getting and being lucky really means. He feels like he’s entered domestic heaven on earth without having really looked for it, even if he planned to meet such a loving forward partner for sure. Kisses are plenty, he loves how much energy you put into them, and how your hands go right along. God, he’s a sucker for your hands, and you taste like tangerines to him. He also loves how you wear red skirts/trousers and use red ribbons to tie him up very playfully.
All is a fairy-tale. That he’s with you is the greatest chance he took in his life, and he wants this to go far. He sees you as athletic and a goal-getter, upbeat and with a lot of good ideas, even random ones. If he’s honest, he wants to have kids with you. The most romantic pile of all, hands down. He goes like man, I’m gonna be so loyal to you, I wanna be the best husband on earth. Beating the odds is what I’m getting from this pile, a one-in-a-million couple.
🌹PILE V
THE TOWER / 9 OF SWORDS / 4 OF SWORDS — The life-changer pile. We hit turbulence! Rough sex all the way, pushing him to the limit. The boldest partner he had. This is big, you fuck him up. It puts him into the aftercare and afterglow of his life. Sex really gets to him, nothing is like it was before, it escalates. It’s so eventful to him, you don’t even realize. All of it is so unexpected and changes his entire view on your relationship but four times as rewarding as he thought it would be. His reaction is a good and plain: “Oh fuck—!”
This guy can hardly keep himself from cumming. He thinks of you as powerful, a force of nature, that you have great stamina and draw your boundaries well. That he is your personal cum dumpster he’s gonna realize very soon, oh boy. To be a worthy match to you, he wants to step his game up to become more durable and self-controlled. You make him blush like mad, all heated. And challenge him to spend his every bit of energy. When you cuddle afterwards, he realizes just how much he loves your scent, and how chill this is after such an unbridled make-out. He sleeps well that night, I’m telling you.

dropped a cup of coffee on myself at breakfast lets gooo
nodus tollens is my favourite chapter its not even close
like i actually LIKED writing it. i like writing in general but its about being someone represented with all the scary sword cards in tarot readings not actual fun. still annoyed i didn’t think of anything better than fucking HEMMINGWAY
A year and a half into working for Giri and Sasuke is sitting cross legged on top of a boulder looking out at a clear blue sky. They’re sitting by the edge of a huge cliff in Fire Country resting between assassinating some small time village leader and their next mission which promises to be heavy on full contact fighting. The sun is dipping towards the horizon, warm air ruffling their hair. Yumi is trying to throw Hiki off the cliff into the lake below, Haru is defleaing his dog and Sasuke is debating his next move in the long distance tactical game he’s playing with Juugo and Karin. It’s an Uzushio classic, like shogi but the board is made of three interlocked spirals and the movements of the pieces are based on the tides. Karin is slaughtering him.
fun fact: literally started designing that uzushio game because i’m a psychopath. it’s also the first of three references, two in the same chapter, of sasuke and his teams, and then one at the end where everyone gets together. to make fun of sasuke. as they should.
There are seven graves by the edge of the sea with a bright blooming flowers planted in the centre spilling over the cliff. Tall markers stand as high as three metres in the air wreathed with ribbons in the colours of dawn and day... Sasuke spares a look back as he enters and sees those graves and flowers. The flowers have colonised the side of the cliff, growing strong and sure halfway down the rocks, slipping into crevices and tangling around each other as they race towards the ocean. Huge blooms of colour, bright reds, light pinks and creamy yellows are knocked about by the waves crashing against the cliff.
if fuyuki even knew how much this colours sasukes opinion of her she’d beat the shit out of him. i think this was the second bit i wrote for her, after a few pieces of her and itachi. actually if she knew how much both of them are coloured by knowing her past she’d commit a crime. its pretty apparent to sasuke that these are memorials to children/those that died young and unfair. how would he know haha. i always intended the hashira and the uchiha as parallels. i think the lack of depth given to other clans sucks, especially when they have literally a thousand years of interaction. the only other one we have are the hyuuga which might have been an intended one but like. i’ve never bought it.
anyway, back to sasuke. dude loves kids. he doesn’t figure it out until he has nine of ‘em, but he has a view of children that’s incredibly sincere. i pretty much decided that on my own cause: a) its funny, b) he was fucking SWEET as a kid and i’ll kill you before i let you tell me that kid went away, c) he’s from a huge close knit family/community and liking kids is the only way to get through that,
oh. also fuyuki does cotton on to his emotional compromise and IMMEDIATELY lies so he likes her more. morals who?
“It seems,” Fuyuki says into the silence, “that Sunagakure has decided we have a problem. I sent Mamoru as a goodwill ambassador to Wind a few months ago. It went well, and as Suna is a largely neutral player in most conflicts I did not see the problem in allowing a small ambassadorial group into Oto to further the relationship. At the fourth meeting one of the Suna delegation proved themselves to be a puppet and assassinated Mamoru. They were in the process of trying to loot us when they were killed.”
haha oh my god gaara fucks himself so hard here. we’re gonna talk about it.
Now it’s leaving time and Sasuke is walking fast downtown, faces passing him as he’s bound for home base.
only two people ever commented on this. vip behaviour.
Shikamaru raises a hand and waves.
Sasuke waves back.
Shikamaru looks at him expectantly across the crowd. Distantly Sasuke notes that he’s the taller of the two. Head’s bob and weave around the marketplace, someone drops an avocado which is swept up a child and her friends, the scent of cooking spices drift down from the top of one of the buildings. Sasuke and Shikamaru stare at eachother.
i never wrote the short for this but this is shikamaru’s nightmare scenario. finding sasuke when naruto is not with you is the k12′s personal hell. because konoha and giri are tentative allies it would be poaching to bring him back and thats something people still take seriously. shikamaru goes and gets FUCKED UP so no one trusts his report and he can claim that it was ONLY MAYBE THE PRETTIEST MAN IN THE FLEA MARKET. naruto finds out like a decade later and is extremely pissed even if he gets it.
It’s a tale as old as the dust of the desert or the mountains that divide the nations. There is a boy who loses something. His honour, a cow, a sword. He has to leave his home to find it. He has to grow strong enough to do what has to be done. In the Son of Nobody the titular Son has to journey to the city to meet the princess and while he is away his family is murdered by a group of wandering bandits. Along the way he meets a beggar girl, the princess in disguise, and he allows her to tag along. There are many twists and turns, the Son becomes a noble shinobi protecting the princess and falls in love with the beggar. He finds the bandits that destroyed his home and avenges his family. But! Disaster strikes! The samurai have been told a lie about the princess and feel that their honour must be avenged. A group sneak into the princess’ room one night and defile her. One of the samurai is late to the scene and feeling so sick and ashamed of their actions kills them and ignites a real war between samurai and ninja. The disgraced samurai takes his own life in front of the princess as appeasement. When this doesn’t work the Son goes on to win the war and marry the girl.
this is just hatake sakumo. some creative liberty but its just the story of how he died embellished. i think some shinobi stories filter out and become like folk tales? like we’re gonna get to it. but there's no way they can have that kind of presence and no cultural impact.
‘Heart, liver, eyes ’ Kabuto says when he’s done, ‘and put the rest in the garbage.’
for sensible reasons kabuto is the scary one.
. Illuminated in the light of the lone flickering candle, bundled in odd cloth and grime, Kabuto looks faceless and formless. His skin has no color, his hair is limp, his eyes are turned completely inward searching himself for an some answer, some lodestone for the next leg of his journey. He looks like an orphaned version of himself. Sasuke has a brief moment of complete self-awareness. He stands above himself and looks down at the length of his hair, the uneven tan on his hands. His own eyes look at his boots, his non-descript travelling coat, the way he is never carrying more than enough money to carry him to the next town. He recognises nothing original, nothing remarkable. He’s as interchangeable as any soldier capable of swapping hands at a moment's notice. Many tools, many masks, many uses. He realises that that shifting formlessness is as much a part of him as his burning rage. It forms him just as fully.
i remember having a moment like this and it was so shocking it took me years to write about it. this nearly got cut, even though i now think its important. becoming ‘just a knife’ is important to sasuke’s development towards being just a guy. relating to kabuto is so personally disturbing that its sort of his turn towards leaving giri. kabuto actually disgusts him. unlike orochimaru.
“We called her the Fruit Eater after the foul seeds she planted in others which grew into giant poisonous fruit trees. When they’d plundered and destroyed the world enough for her foul tastes she’d eat the fruit from the trees and crush them to bone and blood under her feet. Her own children plucked out her organs one by one and cut them up into pieces. What they couldn’t eat they threw to the animals who turned into nine ravenous demons. They brought the demons together and sealed them into the form of a beautiful princess who was coveted by all.”
goddamn space aliens. i hate it less than most. i think i was still deciding if they’d show up at the end. either way i thought i’d just put them in in case i did. again, there SHOULD be a cultural footprint.
The problem is that the Uchiha are predisposed to have thick hair and the main branch, the one that descends directly from Madara’s betrayed brother Izuna, comes with a tendency for...unruliness that Sasuke has gotten threefold. At this length it seems to be largely growing up and out, gravity be damned.
aww my loving rendition of his stupid duck butt. i have unruly hair so his maintenance is essentially mine. its such a distinctive thing i think people should take more advantage of. i wrote in crashing tides that he’s just an awful fashionista and i think that holds true. he tries new hair oils ALL THE TIME.

hi, I was looking again at the reading you did about bts and the 2019 outlook and it's so on point!,like it's amazing!! anyway, I was wondering if you had any clue what's coming with the new year, for them I mean. I think a lot of people are feeling the air of finality, but still the guys have to do smt after the end of the year (as a group or not), do you have anything in mind/do you see anything on that?
Anonymous: are you going to do a 2020 forecast for bts? i would be super interesting in reading one. it would be nice if you did like a paragraph specific to each member too
Anonymous: Hey!! Hope you are doing well. I wondered if you would do an outlook reading for bts this year. Thank you, take care!!
Anonymous: Hi! It’s so nice to see that you’re back! I was wondering if you could maybe do a reading for what 2020 will hold for BTS as a group and as individuals?
000
For the sake of not unintentionally adding speedbumps into their projected timelines and personal paths, I’m not setting out to get any solid potentials that are set up for them in 2020 as, literally, anything can change at any moment, especially now. Putting predictions out can sometimes cause interference through the collective perception of the potentials which are then projected and can overlay onto designated paths and timelines as they play out within the 3D collective experience, so I am focusing on overall energy. It’s the most general and least invasive way of looking at what is currently laid out for them as a group and as individuals. The energy I’m focusing on, in a sense, can be looked at as the tile or stone that their current paths are laid with. It can or can not have direct influence over the destination and the experiences along the way, but for the most part, it is the foundation of every step and sets the tone for the year ahead.
All: Allowance
As a group, the energy influencing them in 2020 is Allowance. There’s a lot of release here, not as much restriction or pressure compared to previous years as, along with the global collective, they are being given opportunities to reform their paths and rebuild foundations based on the growth and knowledge they have acquired for themselves over the last few years. With Allowance, it’s more about going with what they feel to be right, what they feel suits them as people rather than as a product, and there isn’t so much urgency (or they will work to lessen the urgency) towards maintaining their current position.
A bit odd, but the image I was getting with this is that of someone drowning and trying to fight their way to the surface. The longer they hold their breath, the more they panic, and the more they struggle to get to the surface. Finally, when everything in their body is in pain and their head feels like it’s going to explode, they inhale. It’s an instant release and relief of the pain and fear as their body goes into shock and they pretty much pass out and get swept away by the currents. The focus here for me was fighting a battle that can’t be won, or that doesn’t need to be fought at all.
Basically, as I was seeing it, it’s like their attempts to maintain their current position as a group is actually causing resistance to what is set up for them now. Moreso, it’s a lack of trust in themselves, their fans, their company, the industry itself, whatever, that causes them to be fearful of losing what they have and essentially falling from grace. They are supposed to drown in the water not because they are meant to die but because they are going to be carried somewhere new, washed onto a new shore, and given a new life. It’s not so literal, obviously, but the more they fight to stay in the same place the more painful the transition from point A to point B will become. Things are being set up now to show them that they can let go and that it’s not all going to crumble away when they do.
Message on the card: “The frequency of Allowance invites us to be open to whatever comes our way — without judgment, without opinion, without fear, and without resistance. When we allow, the Universe becomes our partner in the wondrous dance of existence and expansion.”
Namjoon: The Magician (rev.) + 4 of Pentacles
This made me feel all bubbly inside because that reversed Magician immediately gave me this image of Namjoon removing a crown and setting it down on a table, essentially removing his responsibilities on a soul level within the soul body and moving all of his conscious level focus to the 4 of Pentacles, the physical foundations, the real-life shit. It’s about him focusing on himself and literally, very consciously, looking at his current path, his current position and where that could lead him and whether or not that is where he wants to go. He’s being given a great opportunity to be in complete control and not exclusively be bound to soul work and purpose. This, of course, can lead to a lot of stressful times and anxiety as anyone who has been very closely guided for a long time can feel that sudden rush of responsibility and pressure come up out of nowhere — I had my own breakdown over it myself last year, it’s here if you want to have a good laugh.
Jin: Two of Cups
Two of Cups, straight up, is relationships and for me personally, this is the only card in a tarot deck that I associate with romantic connections. It’s a significant connection for him but it’s very confined, or I suppose hidden away. It’s private and personal so I won’t try to see into any more than that, but overall this is a fulfilling time for him, something that will start a new phase in his life.
Yoongi: King of Swords
To be honest, the King of Swords is a card I don’t really ever feel anything towards, I usually read it as its traditional meaning in most readings, but here it’s doing some crazy flashing sort of nonsense. Visually, I was seeing it as the King of Cups pulling out a sword to become the King of Swords. Like I just keep seeing the same thing repeating over and over again, just a silhouette of the King of Cups pulling out a sword and his body lighting up all crazy and little balls of light coming off of him like fireflies. It’s very dramatic and I don’t know what it means, but I’m sure it will be an absolute riot for Yoongi, especially if this has to do with personal projects and music coming out.
Hoseok: Six of Cups (rev.) + Queen of Wands
This is like a big dollop of liberation but not in a ~escapist~ kind of way. How I was seeing it, it’s as if the reversed 6 of Cups is the current state of Hoseok’s “kingdom.” It’s being taken over by this weird army that is completely made up of old ideas, trauma, and insecurity. His kingdom is not under his rulership as you would assume it is, and instead, he is at the mercy of this army. Not matter what he wants to build or move through, the process is dictated by the army. The liberation comes from the Queen of Wands as she chooses not to fight the army and instead incorporates it into her own army. That pretty much translates into shadow work, accepting detriments within yourself and turning them into assets in one way or another. He will liberate himself by not fighting against himself and working on uniting aspects of his inner world together. I’m pretty sure I had something like that for him before, but I don’t remember which reading it was.
Jimin: The Tower
This has to do with some personal stuff that I think I talked about in his Elemental Alignment reading and maybe his and Kook’s relationship reading. It is, without a doubt, significant energy in 2020 for him and most likely the next few years.
Taehyung: Six of Swords (rev.)
The reversed 6 of Swords tends to show a halt in progress, some sort of upset that either takes away the driver’s ability to move or somehow compromises the vehicle itself. In a weird way, I was seeing the vehicle being affected, but the vehicle was shown as Taehyung’s mind. It was a little confusing to look at but it seemed like “speed bumps” were being placed in his line of sight as he’s just kind of going about his day and these “speed bumps” are there to continuously assess his surroundings and his connection to them on a deeper level. I was seeing this relating back to his sense of identity and how he communicates with people. It was kind of weird, but it looked like he was literally just talking to someone and they kept going, “what? What did you say?” It’s not about him not being understood it’s about getting him to make sure that he is saying what he wants to say and not what he thinks other people want him to say. But it’s also deeper than that which is why it’s confusing, I feel like this is already going on considering those few times where he has spoken out against certain nonsensical bullshit with fans and such, so it could be just more of that, kind of coaxing more honesty, more of his true self to the surface.
Kook: Ace of Wands (rev.) + Ace of Cups + 10 of Cups
Homeboy is running around with a big mood strapped to his soul, I guess. If you’ve been following the blog and the readings for a long ass time, then perhaps you know that Kook had a big connection within my readings to the Page of Wands, and sometimes the combination of The Fool and the Ace of Wands when he was in a more independent state. This is related to that except he has, or he will grow past the independent state of The Fool and Ace of Wands. Quite literally, he is putting the Ace of Wands down and picking up the Ace of Cups in order to pursue the 10 of Cups. He’s initiating a journey through Water, through the suit of cups, fully from 1 to 10. Very interesting. The Ace of Wands, or the Wands suit in general for Kook is about performance and always being on, projecting for the sake of others. With Water, with Cups, he is more internally focused, but this will actually bring him the most external progress. I assume this will show up more with personal projects and more personal self-expression that is not hindered or influenced by outside opinion or concern.

9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors Tarot Analysis.
One of 999′s greatest strengths will always be its character writing, imo. It’s able to take these seemingly stereotypical characters, and through various late-game scenes focusing on them, subvert a lot of the stereotypes! Of course, being a huge fan of Persona, whenever I try to think about or analyse multifaceted character archetypes, my mind immediately turns to the Major Tarot Arcana.
With that said, I think that it gives a really interesting look at each character if you consider their personalities boiled down to an Arcana, then look at how that reflects them in the Upright, and Inverse positions (remember, the characters in 999 often seem one way before revealing a hidden side).
(For context, the Upright card represents, usually, the positive aspects of an arcana, while the Inverse represents the negative traits. With that in mind, let’s begin).
The Magician archetype is that of an opportunist and a showman, not so much a "master of the arcane" as a "master of sleight of hand". However, the reversed Magician can be manipulative, condescending, delusional, emotionally abusive, and sometimes unlucky.
Number I - The Magician - Junpei
While it’s often tempting to make the protagonist of a story, I think Junpei fits the Magician far better. Junpei is above all else, a “guile hero”, as TV Tropes would put it. He knows probably the least out of the cast the events of 9 Years Ago, yet as the protagonist is the one to uncover it all.
There’s also the scenes where he chooses Door 3, or rigs the 1/2/6 Vote in his favor, or manages to outsmart Ace. Even with very little resources at his disposal, Junpei manages to turn things around magnificently, a textbook Magician move.
However, Junpei’s more negative traits are also embodied by the Magician. He’s most certainly manipulative, as his choice of Door 3 can show, he also tends to run his mouth sometimes, and has generally poor luck (at least in the bad endings).
The Priestess symbolizes wisdom and mental fortitude. Common positive traits include being highly intelligent, wise, and patient, along with having plenty of hidden potential within them. On the flipside, one under the Priestess Arcana may be calculating, have ulterior motives in mind, have frail emotions, or can come off as pitiable and weak in their passivity.
Number II - The High Priestess - Akane
If you’ve read that description and played through 999, you’ll most likely agree that it all fits Akane fairly well. As another bonus, the Magician and Priestess are sort of “foils” to each-other, representing similar ideas in a masculine and feminine ideal.
Akane is a veritable font of trivia about pseudoscience (or, in the world of 999, actual science), and comes across, at least for the most part, as fairly calm. She shows wisdom and patience in her desire to leave nobody behind.
However, on the flipside, Akane has incredibly obvious ulterior motives for almost every action she takes in the game, and even before this is revealed, shows a great deal of frailty and passivity through her fevers.
The Empress represents maturity, elegance, and also strongly embodies the archetype of motherhood, maternal feelings and instincts. Reversed, the Empress may find it difficult to cooperate with others. They may infantilize their peers in their pursual of leadership, making it difficult to truly connect with or understand them in the process of “mothering” them.
Number III - The Empress - Lotus
Lotus is pretty much the Team Mum of the 999 crew, and The Empress Arcana really fits her in that respect. However, unlike Junpei and Akane, (and as a part of 999′s habit of building unlikable characters only to reveal their softer sides), Lotus arguably shows her Inverse aspects before revealing her more positive side.
To begin with, Lotus is hardly a team player. She constantly brings up the need to sacrifice at least 4 people once they reach the 9 Door, and can be flippant to the point of seeming uncaring. In terms of “infantizing”, this is a more lose connection, but she does tend to ramble off stories about telepathy that she doesn’t really believe herself.
However, her softer side solidifies herself as the Team Mum of 999′s cast. She’s also the only character confirmed to have children, which plays into her backstory heavily and gives her an edge of maternal instincts. Furthermore, it’s revealed she’d be willing to be one of the 4 people sacrificed, totally changing the tone of her reminders.
The Chariot Arcana is a very broad one, gender-neutral. It symbolizes pride, control, and goals. A person under the Chariot are usually very extroverted, have a strong sense of will, and are resolute-- striving for an ultimate goal that they desire. But on the negative side of things, they can be extremely aggressive and unpredictable, and often reckless and insecure.
Number VII - The Chariot - Clover
Clover starts the game in an upright state, but when Snake goes missing, reveals the negative inverse side of her arcana. However, Snake coming back for the endgame is enough to push her back into her positive aspects.
Clover fits the terms of the upright Chariot to a tee, being extroverted with a strong sense of will. Her ultimate goal is usually as simple as defending the people who matter to her. On the other hand, when displaying more negative traits, Clover swings wildly between the extremes of heartbroken silence and reckless rage.
Overall, there’s almost not much to say in regards to Clover and the Chariot, seeing as she fits it so well that the blurb seems to do most of the job for you.
The Justice Arcana is one that symbolizes morality, fairness, and truth. A very dynamic card, the positive sides of the Justice Arcana include being truthful, analytical, rational, and fair. But the negatives are violent, one under the Justice may seek vigilantism and vengeance, or are rather dishonest and unhappy with themselves.
Number VIII - Justice - Santa
Santa is an enigma for most of the game, not revealing much of his arcana at all. However, it’s quickly established he’s dealing with a lot of personal demons, and is very much hiding something. This establishes him as someone who begins the game representing the inverse Justice arcana.
Come time for the True Ending, during the moments when it seems like he’s the sole mastermind behind the Nonary Game, he exceedingly represents the inverse Justice. He’s violent and seems to be behind the vigilante killings of the Cradle Pharmaceutical members, all in the name of revenge.
Though this is all a facade, and he happily explains the truth behind the Nonary Game once this facade breaks. Further (much like how Ace put it 9 Years Ago), there was always a fair chance to escape, and during the Safe Ending, it’s implied Santa returned everyone to their normal lives. Santa is fair to the point of only being an assistant to the real mastermind.
The Hermit Arcana, one that symbolizes self-searching and guidance. They are often very positive and introspective-- nearly to the point of being almost philisophical in nature. They often give someone guidance when needed. But at the same time, they are also very lost themselves. They don't know "where" they are, or what they're doing, making them rather isolated and alone.
Number IX - The Hermit - Snake
Snake is a very on-the-nose application of the Hermit arcana. With his blindness, he is in some sense “lost”. However, this is misleading, and as a part of subverting character archetypes, Snake shows that his other senses more than make up for his lack of sight.
Otherwise, Snake fits the upright aspect of his arcana very closely, fitting for a character the narrative wants you to sympathize with after his “death”. Snake is very knowledgeable, and often comes across as the most level-headed member of the group.
However, in another interpretation of being “lost”, Snake spends most of the game locked away, in another form of darkness. In a less literal form, he also loses his head when placed under extreme stress (such as learning of the loss of Clover), subverting his wise level-headedness.
The Strength Arcana, represents discipline and simple honest to goodness strength. The Strength is shown by courage, self-control, patience, and honesty. But deep inside, it also shows a lack of integrity, will, control, and actual power.
Number XI - Strength - Seven
Unlike a lot of other characters, Seven mainly represents himself through the upright meaning of his arcana, Strength. While the arcana at first seems far too on-the-nose, the concepts of “courage, self-control, patience, and honesty” are all very core to his character as a Detective.
Other than that, Seven does display some negative aspects at first too, with his amnesia making him seem more suspicious than he is, and making him prone to hesitate. This could be described as a seeming lack of integrity and any actual power.
Befitting “self-control” however, Seven is generally who he appears to be, with any suspicion from Junpei being undue on his part.
Mostly a somewhat negative or unpleasant Arcana. The Devil symbolizes addiction, lust, and a will to gain. The Devil is one about seeking something, or being tempted. This may include finding more power or letting their impulses control them, to simple greed and arrogance.
Number XV - The Devil - Ace
Much like how many characters in this game begin in the inverse interpretation of their arcana, only to reveal the upright side, Ace surprisingly follows this pattern. The Devil Arcana is a more negative card, so its inverse position represents a positive state of mind.
Quite often, Ace insists that everyone should trust each other, and, importantly, not to give into temptation to Zero’s traps. Ace insists that everyone should stick together, and overall he puts out an air of level-headedness.
However, once his facade drops, Ace is revealed to be the most temptation-driven member of the cast. 9 Years Ago, Ace wished for the ability to see faces so much that he orchestrated a deadly experiment that put the events of the entire game in motion. You can’t get much more driven by temptation than almost killing children.
The 21st card in the Major Arcana, Judgement depicts absolution and realization. At best, Judgement represents a person who has found their calling in life, and is on their way to their true calling. But at worst, this also depicts a person who is in doubt-- unsure if the path that they're going on is the right one at all, leading to self-unawareness.
Number XX - Judgement - The 9th Man
Out of the four Cradle Pharmaceutical members, the 9th Man is the most clearly anxious, leading to an interpretation of being unsure over the ethics of his actions. Even if this is not the case, his anxiety during the second Nonary Game very much impairs his self-awareness, leading to his death.
Another interpretation of what the Judgement card means (in this case referring to an event rather than a person) can be the appearance of consequences from a long time ago. Considering he designed the system which eventually kills him, his death can be considered quite karmic.
Otherwise, the 9th Man doesn’t have much else to him, dying quite early on, before his character had a chance to shine. Despite this, his death is still relevant, as it’s the first example of Zero’s “judgement” of Cradle coming into effect.

Help if you want jdhdhf
Here's this list of tarots major arcana bullhocky. I should note, in a fight, tarot can only use 5 cards at a time. So he's not OP lol. And he CAN run out of magic. But he's still quite strong and possibly gaster level? But Hey here's the list. It's incomplete but help if you want! I certainly need it -w-;;;;
1. The Fool
The Fool is traditionally both the first and the last card of the Major Arcana; in fact, the Major Arcana cards together comprise the Fool’s journey through life. The Fool represents new beginnings, excitement, courage, and potential.
The Fool is also full of advice that wouldn’t look out of place stenciled onto a lime-washed board and sold at a Hobby Lobby, things like “Believe in yourself and follow your heart” and “Have faith in where the universe is taking you.”
Like that one aunt, “The Fool is all about new experiences [and] personal growth.” He is also a little pouty, and appears to have been captured in the middle of saying, “It’s their loss!” The Fool has very fine bone structure.
The little white dog prancing dog at his feet is supposed to represent a “protector,” though it’s not sure from what, if anything, a nine-pound dog is qualified to protect you. “All the tools and resources he needs” for this trip are packed into a bindle the size of a bento box. He’s wearing yellow slouch boots and carrying a single white rose — it’s like using Goop to outfit an Everest ascent.
The Fool represents innocence, a kind word for stupidity. “He does not seem to mind if he does not really know what lies ahead,” which sounds like a really passive aggressive thing to write in someone’s yearbook.

2. The Magician
The Magician (whose more metal name is The Magus) is the first card of the Major Arcana. The Magician also symbolizes fresh starts and new beginnings, because 100% of people who ask for a tarot reading want a new beginning.
The Magician is driven and goal-oriented; he can “apply skill and initiative to accomplish all [his] goals.” His description reads like a performance review. He’s also wearing a snake for a belt.
The Magician card is holding a symbolic staff and making a symbolic hand gesture. He is holding symbolic tablets, wearing a symbolic robe, and standing hip-deep in symbolic flowers. Above his head floats the symbol for infinity. The Magician is like a junior high essay on The Scarlet Letter.
Magic ability- create sheilds/forcefeilds
Character who represents this card-Canvas
3. The High Priestess
The High Priestess “sits at the gate before the great Mystery” and “in front of the thin veil of awareness, which is all that separates us from our inner selves.”
If you’re the kind of person who’s into tarot, you are the kind of person who wants to draw the High Priestess card. On a “What tarot card are you?” quiz, the High Priestess is the card everyone wants to get. The High Priestess is the Elizabeth Bennet of tarot cards.
Moreover, her message is “trust your inner voice,” which is a message absolutely everyone wants to hear. No one goes to a tarot reader to be told, “Your instincts are totally wrong.” A tarot reader’s primary job is to be an enabler — in your heart you already know you’re going to quit your job to be a yoga teacher, you just want someone to tell you that teaching yoga is your destiny.
“Knowledge of how to fix [your problem] will not come through logic or intellect but through your intuition,” she says, which is a real load off for people not overly gifted with logic or intellect.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Tarot himself
4. The Empress
The card of feminine energy, the Empress represents fertility, beauty, and abundance. She may indicate either a physical or metaphorical pregnancy, which seems like something you should really nail down.
The Empress wears a bold patterned caftan she picked up in Yucca Valley. She’s sitting on a red velvet chair that looks like she found it on the sidewalk and tried to reupholster it herself. The Empress definitely uses the DivaCup.
Magic ability-Healing
Character who represents this card-Alterswap Toriel
5. The Emperor
The Emperor is the patriarch, the masculine seat of authority and power. The Emperor is paired with the Empress, even though he’s clearly at least thirty years older than she is. His expression is both scornful and wary, and he seems to suffer from mild rosacea.
The Emperor is seated on a throne “decorated with four rams’ heads, representing intellectual heights, determination, action, initiative, and leadership.” It is not at all obvious why rams’ heads should represent these things, and the last three sound like they were borrowed from Six Sigma.
Magic ability- Fire
Character who represents this card-Ferrell ( @jumpybox )
6. The Hierophant
The staid male counterpart to the much more fabulous Priestess card, the Hierophant represents institutional authority and established traditions. Like the Priestess, he is a religious figure, but in a much more orthodox setting.
No one is ever excited about getting the Hierophant, the middle school principal of tarot cards. If you were the kind of person who got excited about orthodox religious authority, you likely wouldn’t be getting your tarot read in the first place.
Moreover, the Hierophant offers good, boring advice, like “… follow due process and to stay within the conventional bounds of what is typically an orthodox approach. Instead of being innovative, you will need to adapt to the existing set of beliefs and systems that are already in place. You will need to do what is expected of you.”
But the Hierophant is not all bad. The card can also represent a wise mentor, someone like a priest, boss, or teacher. It also may represent a gateway to higher consciousness, as does without exception every other tarot card.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Aion ( @cutiegrumpycerym )
7. The Lovers
The Lovers card represents love, of course, and of the most rarified kind. The lovers share the deep emotional, physical, and spiritual connection you could expect from the kind of couple who calls themselves “lovers.” The two lovers stand among symbols of fertility and intimacy. The woman is gazing at the giant flaming angel in the sky, and the man is gazing at the woman’s pelvis.
The Lovers card also represents a crossroads, and the need to make a decision. “Unlike the Fool’s choice which has no wrong answer, the choice of the Lovers is very much right or wrong.” What’s more, “these decisions or choices are incredibly important and significant so it is essential that you choose the right path.” No pressure.
Magic ability-long distance communication with someone you care for
Character(s) who represents this card- Cross and Xchara
8. The Chariot
The Chariot represents will power, control, self-assertion, and victory. Also, in a refreshingly literal twist, the chariot can represent driving. The card is a real grab-bag of mystical symbolism, including stars, moons, alchemical symbols, and two extremely irritated sphinxes, the leftmost of which is actually rolling its eyes in disgust.
Everything the Chariot says, you can imagine being shouted through a megaphone: “this struggle will ultimately make you stronger!” “get in the race and win it!” “you have to dominate and beat the competition!” “assert yourself and be bold!” “pick up those knees!”
Magic ability-augmented speed
Character who represents this card-Mans (Spidertale Sans - @jumpybox )
9. The Hermit
The Hermit looks like a thinner, tanner Gandalf. He wears the grey cloak of invisibility. Having reached the snowy summit of his harrowing spiritual quest, he now looks sad and a little sleepy.
The Hermit represents being single and loving it. “Be content with being alone or associate only with those on your level,” the Hermit says emphatically over brunch. “Do not waste time and energy on those not ready or not worthy.” (cough, *Brian*) The Hermit is constantly posting about introverts on social media.
Magic ability-Invisibility
Character who represents this card-Chronicle ( @shigxx -I HOPE THIS IS OK AAA)
10. Strength
“The Strength Tarot card represents strength,” a popular tarot site helpfully explains, but unlike the amped-up jock jam sloganeering of the Chariot, Strength here means inner strength of character.
Strength is personified by a lovely woman wearing a long white dress wreathed in flowers giving a lion a comprehensive dental exam in what is surely a very specific fetish. “This lion is happy to submit and surrender to the woman,” who has tamed him with her strength of will and really on-point eyebrows.
Magic ability-augmented strength
Character who represents this card-Altertale sans
11. The Wheel of Fortune
The Wheel of Fortune represents life’s inherently cyclical nature. Sometimes things will go well, other times badly, but in the end, balance will be restored. The Wheel also represents karma, as well as fate and the external forces that control our destinies.
The Wheel of Fortune has absolutely everything you want in a tarot card, including an angel, a lion, a bull, a snake, a Sphinx, esoteric letters and symbols from several major world religions, and an eagle that looks like the artist started out trying to draw one thing and then changed their mind halfway through.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-
12. Justice
The Justice card represents justice, as one might expect, and more sternly, the idea that one gets what they deserve. Justice is all about taking responsibility for one’s self, and she gets a little blame-y: “your decisions and actions have long-term consequences and your present and future circumstances are most likely a result of these decisions and actions.”
Lady Justice sits on a throne, holding in one hand a double-edged sword; and in the other, a set of scales. She looks stern and unbending. “A little white shoe pops out from beneath her cloak, reminding us of the spiritual consequences of our actions,” in a note as charming as it is inexplicable.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Storyshift Chara
13. The Hanged Man
Like the Death card, the Hanged Man sounds much worse than it is. The card represents surrender: the man is described as a “willing martyr,” someone who sacrifices himself to a greater cause. The Hanged Man also represents a period of watchful waiting, and he is doing that waiting upside-down.
The Hanged Man is suspended from the World Tree, and “given the serene expression on his face, it is believed he is hanging on the tree of his own will.” (Really?) He may represent “letting go,” a thing you absolutely should not to when hanging upside-down from a tree.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card- Error/Eri/Geno
14. Death
Books that teach tarot reading advise readers to preface the revealing of the Death card with some variant of, “Now don’t freak out…” In fact, the Death card usually symbolizes a time of change, where one door closes and another opens. This can be a very positive thing, a time of renewal and new beginnings. Then again, sometimes the card symbolizes death.
Death here is a skeleton wearing a suit of armor that indicates death’s invincibility. He is riding a horse with a very small head and red eyes. A collection of disproportionately small people bow before Death’s inevitable slaughter as he regards them with a goofy grin.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Reaper (ofc)
15. Temperance
The Temperance card signifies calm, balance, tranquility, and avoiding extremes. Temperance is cautious, keeping one foot on dry land.
In her hands she holds two cups of water, one hot, and one cold, creating that mystical symbol of cosmic balance, tepid water. Supposedly, the water she is pouring is actually flowing backwards, from the lower cup to the upper one, though it’s impossible to verify that.
Magic ability-
Character that represents this card- Core frisk
16. The Devil
Unlike the Death card, which seems bad but is good, the Devil card seems bad and is bad. The Devil represents materialism, vice, and addiction. He controls our lowest, most animal desires. At his feet, a man and a woman are chained, in servitude to their baser nature. However, the chains are loose and they could slip their heads from them if they tried, indicating that their bondage is voluntary.
The Devil is more disappointed than terrifying, and his Satanic hand gesture is a dispirited wave. The chained lovers at his feet look dopey and complacent, gesturing towards the inky cave of the insatiable unconscious like it’s a showcase on The Price Is Right.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card- Fresh
17. The Tower
Following on Death and The Devil, the Tower is a very bad card. It symbolizes sudden catastrophe. After this time of chaos, new and better things may emerge, but that’s likely small consolation during your current era of unremitting disaster.
The Tower is a sturdy-looking building that probably seemed safe, but now it has been struck by lightning and it’s on fire, and the same lovers who were so dreamily enraptured on the Lovers card and so calmly drugged out when chained to the Devil are now plunging headlong to their ruin amid 22 symbolic flames. The man’s mouth is open with surprise, while the woman’s is pursed in anger, as if to say, “I warned you about the lightning.”
Magic ability- earth manipulation
Character who represents this card-
18. The Star
After the destruction of the Tower, the Star is all love and light. The card represents joy, kindness, hope, and faith — basically anything you’d want to embroider on a tea towel.
On the Star card, a naked woman is serenely pouring water from a clear, still pool onto the grass, where it runs off in five streams said to represent the senses. The woman is pretty but in an approachable way. Behind her is a field of stars and a tree in which roosts the sacred (if extremely crudely drawn) “ibis of thought.”
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Nebula
19. The Moon
One might assume the Moon would be a good card, suggesting femininity, fertility, and other mystically significant things, but in fact, the Moon is a mixed bag at best. The card represents intuition, but also subconscious fears and dark impulses. The Moon is associated with the eerie, mysterious elements of our unconscious minds, including recovered memories and nightmares.
The moon itself is upstaged by all the weird animals that are roaming around beneath it. A lobster crawls out of the depths of a dark pool, symbolizing the disturbing images that bubble up from our unconscious minds, and joins two dogs baying at the moon (some interpret these canines to be one dog and one wolf). Beyond the animals is a narrow path between two desolate towers. The moon wears the expression of someone who has just said their final word of an argument in bed and is now pretending to be asleep.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Nightmare
20. The Sun
The Sun is everything the Moon is not: open, positive, upbeat. Whereas the Star is serene and blissful, the Sun is way too chipper. The Sun played “Get Lucky” at his wedding. The Sun cheers for the kiss cam. The Sun likes to shout “I can’t hear you!” from the stage. The Sun means well, but all the other cards are embarrassed for him.
On the tarot card, the Sun itself looks a little embarrassed, pointedly averting his eyes from the spectacle below him: a naked, wreathed baby riding a white horse in front of a field of sunflowers, like the result of a dangerously escalating feud between Mary Engelbreit and Anne Geddes.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Dream
21. The Judgement
The Judgement card means judgement, not surprisingly, but also an inner voice, sudden realization, or higher calling. Judgment is about resolution, the cathartic climax to all of your struggles. The Judgment card also looks absolutely crazy.
The card shows a group of pallid, naked people rising up from their graves in a colorless, blasted landscape to the call of a trumpeting angel. The angel appears to be faking playing a trumpet, and not even faking it well. He holds the instrument stiffly while pointedly avoiding eye contact with the zombie cult members whose arms are upraised in worship of him.
Magic ability-
Character who represents this card-Outerfell asgore
22. The World
The World is the last card of the Major Arcana, and represents the summation of the journey begun by the Fool. After all the adventures of the past twenty-one cards, the World represents accomplishment, closure, and completion.
Unfortunately, the last card of the soul’s journey is also a bit of a mess. When you hear the phrase “the world,” many images may come to mind, but one them is probably not a dancing lady wrapped in a purple shawl, holding a baton in each hand, and surrounded by a lion, a bull, an eagle, and a human figure described as a “cherub” though he looks at least 28. The lady looks a little off-balance and more than a little drunk, which is perhaps not a bad symbol for closure after all.

Haewon’s Role
A big shout out to this theory by not-majestic-blueunicorn for being the base I work from. Please note that this may change due to future comebacks as it’s a little bit unclear if this was the end of the story and this is just how I’m taking things since nothing is 100% true about the seven deadly sins. I just think it’s a fun idea to play around with.
all of this was written prior to 10/29/2019.
This is a little lengthy since I didn’t want to break it up into multiple posts.
Haewon in MVs
DRAMARAMA - Haewon is seen leaving each of the boys prior to the boys crossing Hyungwon’s path (i.e being a customer at Minhyuk’s coffee shop or as a neighbor of Wonho). She is seen in Hyungwon’s workshop walking in the background, but doesn’t follow him to Kihyun’s timeline and doesn’t interfere in the others. Her last appearance is with Minhyuk as she enters the coffee shop, their eyes meeting before it fades to black.
DESTROYER - She isn’t seen for a majority of the video except as a face during the glitches and visions. When she appears in full, she’s waiting for them on the platform and seems to be the only to see all of them together. Haewon is seen consecutively on the train and sitting next to Hyungwon before the others appear. As they all gather, she seems to glitch and fade away but the boys don’t seem to notice or even acknowledge that she was even there.
THE CONNECT CONCERT VCRs - Haewon is hardly seen throughout the video until the very end when it’s revealed that she gave the photos to the boys since - due to how the timelines work - it would’ve been impossible for Kihyun or Jooheon to be alive at the same time. As it comes to a close, she sits in front of various TV screens as each play out the scenes from many of their previous MVs - all the way back to debut to allude that this is has been going on from the very start.
JEALOUSY - The boys seem to be fighting for her attention to which she only really gives to Hyungwon as she shares a solo set with him and not the others. It’s never clear why the boys are competing for her attention, but they seem distraught when they are pulled apart from one to only be matched with another. In the end, its thanks to her that they are paired up as she walks away.
SHOOT OUT - Unlike the rest of the boys, Haewon is not chains or imprisoned and this makes her stand out. She walks free and is mostly seen in the living room set alone, leaning against Hyungwon’s throne in his room, or with the boys in group shots. She’s always sat in between two tall objects, whether it be pillars, columns, or even Hyungwon and Wonho. No matter what, the pattern of two is around her. As the boys fall for the end pose, she stays standing with Wonho before hiding behind him and “disappearing.”
ALLIGATOR - She is the only one to not get her own room. Her solo set is on the outside - a throne sitting outside as ash rains down or in the driver’s seat of the car. If closely observed, she can be seen in the other boys’ rooms for a split second. Haewon seems to be watching over each one. In the last group shot, she stands in the back as the light flashes through the window before disappearing once it fades.
WE ARE HERE CONCERT VCR - With the sins being formally introduced, it’s hard to give her one since there only seven. With their sins being revealed, it begged the question, “how does Haewon fit in?” Her role isn’t clarified but hinted at. She is barely seen in the VCR, but is the voice on the phone and joins all of them at the end as she runs up the beach to them.
FIND YOU - Haewon is Hyungwon’s little sister, and survives the car crash with him. Unlike Hyungwon though, she doesn’t wish to go back and is surprised when he uses the watch. Something in her eyes knows whats happening as she digs through files. The boys receive a text later that she has gone missing from the house, the room in the same state as their father’s study, and leaving behind a note that says “Follow.” The last shot has her walking up to Hyungwon and joining him under the umbrella - a shot not used in DRAMARAMA.
FOLLOW - Haewon’s solo set seems to be a throne room that’s on fire, fully pulling us into the hell the group has created with their time travel. Throughout her scenes, she’s shown that she is a force that the boys can’t control but she can control them. Besides Hyungwon, she has the only other set with a metaphorical eclipse in the background. Hers is found on the throne, but is set in the diamond ring phase. She stands on the staircase at the end with Shownu as the rest arrive. The throne’s eclipse and the background eclipse end as it fades to white.
—
Haewon’s Role in the Seven Deadly Sins:
I’m still a novice at tarot card reading, so if you know that I’m misinterpreting the High Priestess card, please tell me so that I can adjust this section accordingly.
The High Priestess tarot card made it’s first appearance in SHOOT OUT among the other cards, and was the only card upside down. In solo shots in ALLIGATOR or FOLLOW, she’s seen in a blue dress with a cross necklace and various styles of crowns. Combining that with the pattern of two pillars of columns around her and the monochromatic eyes, these make up the key features of the card.
Now knowing what this means, what does the card mean in terms of an actual tarot deck?
Let’s start with what she means in general.
“the High Priestess is the guardian of the subconscious mind and the teacher of sacred knowledge and hidden mysteries…signifies spiritual enlightenment, inner illumination, divine knowledge and wisdom. She shows up in your Tarot readings when the veil between you and the underworld is thin, and you have the opportunity to access the knowledge deep within your soul.”
“High Priestess is a card of mystery, stillness and passivity. This card suggests that it is time to retreat and reflect upon the situation and trust your inner instincts to guide you through it. Things around you are not what they appear to be right now.”
So from the very beginning, Haewon know what was going down with the boys and why everything was happening and why the timelines are so scrambled. Throughout her role, she gives hints to the guys to their true nature and separate timelines. She wants the group to be whole again.
What does the reverse mean?
“The reversed High Priestess calls on you to be still and direct your attention inward to listen to your voice and wisdom.”
Though the boys don’t know know their true identities, she does her best to lead each of them back home without sounding crazy. So, she takes on the role of Hyungwon’s little sister in FIND YOU to start the final cycle in hopes to kick start that need to be together again. It’s a process that can’t be forced but can be guided.
–
So what does this mean in the grand scheme of things?
The High Priestess is in our secondary lead after Pride (Hyungwon). Throughout history, the sins take physical form and live among the people. Memories bleed into each life which is why some memories, though impossible, can happen - like Jooheon and Kihyun being alive at the same time. As time goes on, the sins can’t remember which sins belong to which life and that’s where our Priestess comes in.
The sins have been scattered across time and Pride is the first one to return to hell since Hyungwon died in ALL IN. They’ve always returned together, but since grief took over, the sins were trying everything to bring him back and be together. Some even dying and returning home after another sin chooses to live another human life, creating an endless cycle of cat and mouse, pairing different sins to play another round. This is seen in JEALOUSY as the constant separation and joining is the different cycles/rounds they’ve gone through. Haewon is the only one to not got through this.
She is the only one to know their true identities throughout every timeline as she exists outside of them. Which is why in FIND YOU, she’s upset that Hyungwon used the watch as he essentially set off another round of the chase. So she disappears to start to bring it all back around.
In FOLLOW, rather than allowing the chase to continue, the Priestess makes them go through one more cycle to bring everyone back home and together again. However, instead of having physical forms, the sins are put in separate parts of hell and must find each other to return to their true home. The Diamond Ring Eclipse on her throne signifies that everything has fallen into place and the next chapter shall begin soon.
She waits at the staircase as the eclipse begins to fade. Wrath (Shownu) is the first to arrive at the staircase as Pride leads the others with him. For the first time in a long time, the Priestess and the Sins are back together but what now? Where do they go from here? What happens next?

This spread is for draugadottir, the very person this spread was designed (and who helped a bit to create it) and will be the first to receive it without even hanging and getting stabbed!
This spread is a homemade concoction from my knowledge of Tarot and the myth of Odin sacrificing himself to himself for the knowledge of the Runes, thus of creation and himself.
The placement of the cards is in the shape of the Rune “Maðr” of the Younger Futhark, which was used as “man” in the Runic Poems.
We shall begin, as Yggdrasil does, in the Well of Urd which nourishes the deep roots of The World Tree. And from this Well springs forth XX The Aeon, Shin, Fire. Think about where you are now and how you go about doing things in general. Do you remember a time before this point in your life when you acted differently and didn’t have this kind of understanding of the world? The Aeon is a new understanding and thus a new way of acting in your life. Harpocrates giving the sign of silence has to do with the meditative process of accepting this new law of life. You must truly grasp the meaning of this change in order to act in the new “spirit of the age” if you will. You are being born anew through fire and blood, you are emerging from the egg in the background and coming forth. What you take away from this will be with you forever but one day will also be improved on and brought to a new level.
The mighty trunk of Yggdrasil is carved with V The Hierophant, Vau, Taurus. This is being initiated into how things work in the material or normal world. This is the secrets of how things are and some of that is being revealed to you. This is a person, institution, or experience that is telling you “trade secrets” or how to do what you do better. 5s are the human or microcosmic number and Taurus reiterates this material theme. Once you find out how to improve yourself and your understanding of the world, you must now go out and actually use that skill. Knowledge is useless if it is not implemented in the knower’s life and behavior. Get initiated into the cult of your sphere of interest. Learn how to improve what you do through being initiated in one way or another. Find what/who helps you to learn the “secrets” of how to do your thing better and then go out and do those things.
The knowledge of the Runes Óðinn looked down into his blood and saw, for you is the 6 of Swords, Science! This is thinking and communicating in its idealized form. This is the system building card where individual thoughts are organized into a repeatable formula. Mercury’s intelligence is flowing through the Water Bearer Aquarius and coming down to useful data gathering techniques. Organize the way you’re thinking about what you’re doing to reflect all of the information you have available. Be scholarly about your thought process and write shit down goddamnit.
Mr. Wednesday Himself, the Sacrifice and the God to which this is all Sacrificed to is VII The Chariot, Cheth, Cancer. I like to think of the Chariot as an armored train. The Four elements are the engine pulling the otherwise stagnate charioteer of Cancer down the predetermined path. While they pull him toward his goal he stays in his armored shell focusing on his moving center. This is not about “going off the beaten path” at all, this is “staying on track” to take care of yourself and Yourself, if you catch my meanings. The armour of the night is “not to keep others out, but to keep the Knight focused in.” to paraphrase. The rotating center is the Knight’s center, from His perspective, the center of All. Stay on your path, you might not be driving the train but it’ll get you going where you need to be. Focus on your soft inside bits like the crab does, you can only fit so much in your current state.
The Spear which pierced All-Father so he could have the blood pooling to make visible the knowledge is XIV ART, Samekh, Sagittarius. This is the process of the actual Art of Alchemy, the taking apart, putting back together, and purifying. Duality is being dissolved and it’s being used as rocket fuel to project you outward into the Universe. The hermaphrodite alchemist takes the substances at her disposal and works them to make a purer, more useful creation. The cauldron has a momento mori that symbolizes that death or real change is a key to dissolving. You have to change yourself, burn away the bullshit. Break things apart to their various components so you can use the parts to build them again to be useful.
The branch of The World Tree which Wotan anchored himself to be hung from is the Prince of Disks, the airy part of Earth or thinking about what’s going on in the material/normal-ass world. This prince is a map maker, an amateur cartologist. Holding his globe, he is pulled along by the sturdy bull of Taurus who is familiar with the terrain so the prince can gaze down and take note of where he is, where he’s been, and where he might be going. In other words this is learning about how to navigate life. Pay attention to where you are and what you’ve been doing. Take notes. Have you been here before? Do you know where this leads? If not, mark it out in your globe so you know if you ever get there again.
Wuotan’s Raven Familiar who represents the memory, Munnin is XVII The Star, Heh, Aquarius. Despite its name making me think of water, Aquarius is an air sign. Aquarius the water-bearer is the vehicle for the water she is baring. The life giving water flows through her. It has been said that “Tzaddi is not the Star” and Crowley made it so in the Thoth deck. There is a mystery in this attribution of the Hebrew letter to this Tarot card that I will not go into. I read this card called the “Universal Principle of Self-Worth” or trusting yourself as the vehicle of transmission. Her gaze is toward her reflection in the cup above her and she is pouring through herself to the areas below herself. Trust that you’re a worthy conduit to transmit what nourishes life. Trust that your shit is real and who you are makes you capable. That which is above wishes to come below through you.
Wotan’s Raven representing thought, Huginn is the 4 of Cups, Luxury. This is “squaring up” emotionally and creating a greater emotional balance. Lvna the Moon absorbs the light of Sol the sun and reflects it back to Earth, but only enough emotionally to help you stay stable and protected (Cancer the crab with an exoskeleton to protect it’s soft inside parts). Don’t get too comfy though, don’t mistake squaring up (getting correct) with being a scared square.
And above it all, the canopy of The World-Ash Tree is the 3 of Wands, Virtue. This is not a moralistic idea of Virtue, this is the idea of formulating a basic mode of action to build from. Virtue unto yourself and your Will, as in doing what you do because it’s what you do. Astrologically, this is Sol in Aries or springtime. This is the energy of the Sun close to Earth creating new growth from the stagnate winter. You can also read a message of centering on new growth in your life. Create a basic plan like a farmer might for spring. You’re no sharecropper, this is your land so plant the fields only according to your Will.
So, this all grows from the Fire which brings about a new era of humanity (sound familiar?). This makes possible the initiation of knowledge and then the Knowledge itself. Mercury (an early Roman attribution of Odin) in Aquarius is very important to this process, for it is no only the knowledge of the Runes but the transmission of that knowledge to humanity.
That Spear which spills the Blood of A God unto Himself is just that here, Sagittarius and the ACT of transmutation. That which the God anchors Themself is the thought of what is, what could be, and what might come to be in the mundane world. The God Himself is the Charioteer being pulled along His path by the elements which created the path in the first place.
Your memory should be focused on how you can, how you must transmit this knowledge unto humanity, how you must trust yourself to bring this light to the darkness and banish it back to its proper place. Your current thoughts should be on reflection of this Trip, the Luxury of being able to survive this ordeal and tell about the saga. And like any good saga, you must ACT, staying true to your Gods and your thus, yourself.
The age of giants is over, you’ve slayed them all, now, tell the tale, oh warrior.
TAAAA DAAAAAAAAA, there it is the first of this kind of spread I created. Tell me what you think and of course hit me up for clarification or questions!
SKÁL!

I don’t have time to do it right now but one of these days I really need to write down everything I learned from alt.tarot back in the day Some of it is about tarot but more of it is about how to fight with people on the Internet. I was reminded re-reading the Dickwolf Discourse and how Mike’s hard-won lesson from that is that he could have Just Stopped much earlier. Just Stopping is a great skill that I learned through many bruising fights on Usenet and specifically alt.tarot. See, most people who think they are Knowledgeable About Tarot in fact are Jon Snows to the subject: they know nothing. The received wisdom on tarot is complete garbage; you can easily spend years and read dozens of published books and come away believing things like “tarot was invented by gypsies and contains secret wisdom smuggled out from the fall of the Library of Alexandria.” Insert Luke Skywalker gif: every part of that is wrong. Playing cards were actually invented by the Chinese, reached Europe around 1360, and in the middle of the fifteenth century Italian nobles started using tarot decks to play a trick-taking game resembling bridge. The so-called Major Arcana, or trump cards, were mostly drawn from Petrarch’s poem I Trionfi which translates to “The Triumphs” (triumph=trump). I Trionfi was enormously popular, especially in Italy, and you see imagery from it everywhere during the time period and all kinds of card decks using it. (Looks down at wall of text I have just produced. Whelp. Time for a read-more!)
So almost nobody knows this basic fact, that the structure of the Major Arcana and a lot of the imagery on the cards comes from Petrarch originally. Instead they spend years reading dumb newage books that all regurgitate the same content, like, “Death doesn’t mean death, it means change.” To Petrarch, and to the Renaissance Italians, and to the likes of Waite and Crowley, Death literally meant death. Now they all believed that there were things like Christian faith that could triumph over/trump even death: Petrarch’s poem is structured like a Roman triumphal parade except with metaphysical forces involved, so like the great conquering emperor is brought low by the power of love, and the lovers in turn are brought low by the power of chastity, and the chaste in turn are brought low by the power of death, but death is conquered by fame, and fame is conquered by time, and time is conquered by the eternal Kingdom of God. This is the basic procession that you see in the trump cards. And yes this does mean that tarot was also explicitly Christian, from the beginning, and remained so even as the robes-and-wands set started appropriating Jewish kabbalah and mapping tarot onto it. That happened in the eighteenth century, in France. The two dudes responsible are Antoine Court de Gébelin and M. le Comte de Mellet, two more names that most people who think they know a lot about tarot will never have heard of. The line goes from them through Eliphas Levi, Papus, Wirth, those guys, through to Waite and then Crowley. Now all these dudes were occultists, and occult means clandestine, hidden, secret, so as you might expect they were not at all good at clearly explicating their beliefs. Back on alt.tarot I used to use a Waite quote as my signature: “Superfluities and interpretations notwithstanding, it is directly, or indirectly, out of the recent view, thus tentatively designated, that the consideration of the present thesis emerges as its final term, though out of all knowledge thereof.” (That’s from The Hidden Church of the Holy Graal. It’s all like that.) So, it’s definitely not their fault that most people don’t know about Petrarch and kabbalah and what Crowley really meant when he made such a big goddamn deal about how “Tzaddi is not The Star.” Even when the likes of Crowley or Waite did write books supposedly detailing the meaning of the symbolism of their decks, they threw in lots of misdirection and outright lies “to mislead the uninitiated.” Kabbalah is the key, they’ll tell you, but they won’t tell you that they used it as an athbash--forward and back, just like the Fool’s Journey goes both up and down the Tree of Life; divine power can be called down into Malkuth, the physical world, but one born into Malkuth can also ascend to Kether, unmediated experience of the divine. (So The Star is both Tzaddi and Heh.) Anyway, if you can’t trust the newage books and you can’t trust the occult books, are there any good books on tarot? Yes, there are two: Gertrude Moakley's groundbreaking (and out of print) book The Tarot Cards Painted by Bonifacio Bembo for the Visconti-Sforza Family: An Iconographic and Historical Study, and the equally groundbreaking and equally out of print Rhapsodies of the Bizarre, a collection of essays by Court de Gébelin and M. le Comte de Mellet, with translation and commentary by J. Karlin, the terror of alt.tarot. Jess Karlin was not his real name. He knew more about tarot than, I gradually came to believe, anyone else in the world. He was a jerk, and proud of being a jerk: Thelema is a religion of war, he said, and he came not to affirm but to destroy. He was my teacher, and he taught me a lot, and I tried to repay him both with money and by acknowledging the debt whenever the subject comes up, like now. One of the things he taught me was how to learn from someone who is giving you an actual answer but insulting you while they do it. (Try ignoring the insult and saying thank you, for the answer. They may have more to teach.) I say Karlin knew more than anyone else in the world because the academics after Moakley were disappointing; the field became dominated by playing card historian Michael Dummett, who was so invested in debunking the occultists that he really doubled down on trying to argue that no link between tarot and fortune-telling existed before the French guys came along. Which is stupid, because the links between games of chance and systems of divination have always been super tight--Fate and Luck are the same damn bitch. And you can find (and Karlin did find) very early references to witchcraft performed with playing cards. So because the playing card historians would have nothing to do with the occultists, and Karlin was doing these serious deep dives into formerly-untranslated eighteenth century French occult texts and even earlier stuff, he ended up understanding the iconography and symbolism of tarot way better than the people like Dummett who were much too serious to touch the occult traditions. That was another thing Karlin taught me: that academic consensus can sometimes be just as wrong as newage gobbledegook, and it really is possible, when you start doing deep dives into niche subjects, to outstrip the experts. Sometimes it’s not just possible but frighteningly easy. Anyway, he knew a ton--and he knew it in a field where the vast majority of people think they understand the material, but are very wrong. I think this had the effect of making him quite crabby. Some people came to alt.tarot saying they wanted to learn tarot; and those people, J. Karlin was willing to teach, although he might yell at them some for believing stupid things, if they did. And they probably did--I remember being twenty-one, a shiny new-minted college graduate, proud of my A in an undergraduate Quantum Mechanics For Non Physics Majors class, trying out some “maybe fortunetelling is a quantum effect” angle and getting my ass handed to me, deservedly so. But many, many more people came to alt.tarot back in the day thinking they already knew tarot. And they very much did not want to be corrected. They just thought the cards looked cool and they were perfectly content with their own “I’ll just intuit what I think the cards mean” approach to tarot. And to those people, Karlin was a relentless asshole. Because the symbols did in fact have an original meaning, and it is possible to trace the evolution of the iconography through time, and in fact all those centuries of artists and writers and...I dunno, warlocks and whatnot...working on the cards has created a much, much, much deeper and richer symbolic framework than what most people can make up off the tops of their heads just by looking at a random image from The Tarot of the Cat People or whatever. So that was maybe the first important thing he taught me: there is a truth. Even in symbolic matters, even in stuff that was all “just made up” at some point, it is possible to distinguish what’s important and true from what’s just people spouting off the tops of their dumb heads. And fourth or fifth was that if you argue with someone long enough and you find yourself getting boxed into a corner, fighting desperately to support propositions you’re not even quite sure how you ended up needing to defend, you can just...stop. Usually that’s the cleanest and clearest path. Karlin would not let people save face and he would not let them have the last word: if they were wrong, they’d either have to admit it, or they’d have to flounce off to another Usenet group, orrrr...they’d have to learn how to fucking shut up. It’s a good skill to have. I learned it in alt.tarot, being wrong a lot. I had many fights with Jess Karlin on alt.tarot. But to my knowledge I was the only one from that group that he offered to formally initiate into Thelema. If I have siblings in this lineage I don’t know them; and I never considered myself a Thelemite, even after the initiation. But I have tried to pass on what he taught me. Crowley wrote that the adept “must teach; but he may make severe the ordeals” and I always sort of thought Karlin was living by that principle. At the same time he liked to point out that it’s not necessary to hide your pearls from swine: they won’t take ‘em no matter how brightly you polish and how neatly you letter the sign, FREE PEARLS OF WISDOM, PLEASE TAKE. My worst fights with J. Karlin were always when I was trying to do something nice for him. I still wince remembering when I tried to give him a copy of Alan Moore’s Promethea; that ended with us not speaking for several years. So if he reads this he’ll probably be mad at me all over again but anyway he eventually started using his real name, Glenn Wright, for his Internet writings instead of the Karlin nym. He hops around websites too fast for me to keep track, but as recently as 2015 he had a blog on Tumblr. Sometimes he offers tarot readings for sale--one card, yes or no question only. I recommend these without question whether you “believe” in tarot or not. (I’ve grown out of my quantum woo days and I don’t now think the cards are anything but a fantastic system for self-reflection). This is super long so I’m gonna stop now. Maybe it’ll do for that “what I learned from alt.tarot” post I always meant to make.

Full Moon September 2019 ~ Fight Or Flight?
Full Moon September 2019 ~ Fight Or Flight?
By Darkstar Astrology
Full Moon September 14 2019 falls at 21º Pisces Decan 3. Full Moon is conjunct Neptune, opposite Mars & square Jupiter. Full Moon healing crystal is the Tiger’s Eye. Fixed Star is Markab in Pegasus the Winged Horse. Tarot card is the 10 of cups.
FULL MOON MEANING
Full moons tend to make us purge and release things from our lives, so we need to make sure that we are in control of this and no one is forcing our hand! Sometimes we can let go of things that we regret later, due to heightened emotions and the full moon’s penchant for saying ‘F*** You!
The bright light of the sun throws a spotlight on our subconscious and our shadow. This can feel uncomfortable as the Sun literally blasts out the demons who have nowhere to hide. Often the full moon is a time when we reap what we sowed at the new moon,.. for good or for ill.
The veils between the worlds are thinnest around a full moon, so be very careful what you invite in. Instead, the full moon is best used to purge things out, and banish entities/bad habits back to the underworld from whence they came. Make sure you close the door firmly afterwards! This is a good time for exorcism, but make sure you are completely grounded and fully in control of the process. If in doubt, lie low and protect yourself.
Full Moon September 2019 Astrology
Full Moon September In Pisces Decan 3
The wild mood-changes in this decan are bound to keep us on our toes. Because of fluctuating emotions, we might well find it hard to keep hold of relationships at this time or stick to any project. We are apt to lash out for no apparent reason, so this decan is typical of the temperament that is often described being “artistic ” Interestingly in my research, I actually found very few actual artists with their Moon in this decan, but there are certainly those who have a finger on the pulse of what is popular in the collective.
This decan is very sensitive to what its peers (or the public) perceive them to be. If they can’t be loved then Pisces decan 3 might go out of their way to be unpopular and delight in being controversial. Moon in Pisces 3 loves being the subject of gossip, and they seem to lap-up any attention, even if it is negative. Bad press doesn’t exist as long as this person is being talked about; So at this time, we will see many prominent people feeding off drama in the collective. The Moon here can be quite “bratty” also. Infantile rages can emerge due to unresolved childhood trauma.
Fixed Star Markab
Moon on Markab ~ “Injuries from enemies and domestic matters, fairly good health but many accidents”. [6] ” To be emotionally consistent, to be unchanging in one’s devotion. To see to serve in a practical manner, the needs of others.” [7] Manilus writing in the 1st century says “It will bring forth people endowed with a swiftness of movement and limbs alert to perform every task… proudly mounted on its back he will wage war from on high; horseman and soldier in one. Another will possess the ability to rob the racecourse of its true length such is his speed…and make the ground vanish before him… will know the herbs which bring aid to an animal’s limbs and those which grow for the use of man.” So there is swiftness in the body and mind.
Full Moon Pisces Decan 3 ~ Tarot Card
The tarot card associated with this card is the 10 of cups. The Cinderella effect of the meaning of the decan as a whole is very marked with this card since “It suggests emotional fulfilment, settling down and starting a family. You have found the love you have searched for… You may have a picture painted in your head of the ideal partner and life for you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this as we all have our own idea of what we are looking for, and a dream we would dearly love to come true.”
Painting a picture is appropriate as this is such an imaginative decan. Karmically for artists “ The Ten of Cups suggests exceptional work. Your creations will be truly inspiring and might even be your best yet” Like high flying Pegasus “It is all taking off for you now and you may even get some global recognition.” ~ teachmetarot.
The 3rd Face Of Pisces
“A sad man full of evil thoughts, thinking of deception and treachery, and before him is a woman with a donkey climbing atop her, and in her hand is a bird. This is the face of advancement, and lying with women with a great appetite, and of quiet and seeking rest” ~ Picatrix

Full Moon September Healing Crystal ~ Tiger’s Eye
Tiger’s Eye is a remarkable ally for the mind, balancing emotional extremes and allowing scattered thoughts, feelings and information to come together in a way that makes sense. It brings focus and stability, enabling one to make decisions from a place of reason rather than emotion. Tiger’s Eye is ideal for those who are spaced out and uncommitted to find purpose; for those who find it difficult to remain optimistic, it stimulates hope and confidence for the future. [1][2]
A popular good luck stone, Tiger’s Eye/Cat’s Eye was used to ward off the evil eye, and to reflect back any malice or threats without absorbing any negative energy. It was used a great deal in voodoo rituals. Holding a Tiger’s Eye was also used to discern if someone else was reliable or not. Traditionally it was believed by the end of the day, any deception would be revealed. [3][4]
Right Use Of Power
It engenders peacefulness and beauty, and connects with the spiritual power of the sun as nourishment for the soul. Tiger’s Eye enables the ability to remember dreams and to use dreamtime for spiritual advancement, sparking imagination, intuition, and opening up psychic talents in earthy people through Third Eye activity. [5]
Tiger’s Eye is highly beneficial for resolving dilemmas and internal battles, especially those caused by jealousy, will fulness and pride. It teaches integrity and right use of power, bringing an awareness of one’s needs, as opposed to mere “wants,” as well as understanding the needs of others. It is excellent for healing issues of self-criticism and worth, and unblocks creativity so one may recognize one’s talents and abilities, as well as one’s faults that need to be overcome. It is highly supportive for an addictive personality, increasing personal will to affect positive change, and anchors that change into the physical body. [1][2].

Enough - Shance Fluff
Read here or on AO3.
Shiro’s eyes tracked Lance, as they always did, as he danced across the training deck, weaving and dodging around Keith’s and Pidge’s relentless assaults. The three of them sparred with long training staves, the loud crack of them connecting with one another interspersed only occasionally with the softer thud of them slapping against an exposed thigh or across the backs of shoulders. Pidge and Keith swung at Lance in tandem, and Shiro sucked in a soft breath as Lance bent himself in half and slipped between them like he was doing the limbo, his lips set in a thin line of concentration. He planted the butt of his staff against the ground and shoved away as Keith whipped his own stave around in a counter attack. The end of Keith’s stave barely missed Lance’s chest, but it was a miss nonetheless. Shiro watched Keith’s brow crinkle, though he didn’t have a chance to dwell on the failed attack, because Lance was advancing on the both of them, twirling his stave like he was in colour guard.
Keith brought his stave up and blocked the attacks while Pidge attempted to jab at Lance’s legs. So quickly that Shiro’s eyes couldn’t quite process it, Lance delivered two strong hits to Keith’s stave and then cracked down on the top of Pidge’s, then whirled and hit the bottom of it and pushed, forcing her to spin it upward. He brought his stave down and swept her feet out from under her, then brought it across her chest so that she stumbled against Keith. Keith maintained his balance, but just barely. As he fought to stay upright, he wrapped an arm around Pidge and took a step back, eyes going wide when he felt his ankle collide with Lance’s stave, which was poised to knock his feet from beneath him.
Shiro exhaled a soft breath he’d been holding and he felt his chest swell and grow tight. At first, Lance retained a stoic expression, and then his character fell into an easy grin. He stepped forward and held Keith steady while Pidge righted herself, scowling. Lance grasped Keith’s arm, and his eyes crinkled up as his grin widened. Keith smirked back at him, returning the friendly grip.
“You’re a quick learner with these staffs,” he said. Lance shrugged, but the smile didn’t leave his face.
I guess since my bayard took this shape, it’s come to me a little easier. It’s nice to have something more hand-to-hand so I can actually be useful in a fight,” he said, patting the blue bayard by his side.
You could never see a day of combat and you’d still be so invaluable, Shiro thought to himself.
“About time,” Keith joked. Shiro knew it was spoken completely in jest, that Keith knew exactly how important Lance was to the team, but when he saw the corner of Lance’s mouth twitch so minutely, he wanted to pull him away and shower him in every kind truth the boy deserved.
But he wasn’t really a boy anymore. They’d been in space for approximately two years now, give or take some months. It was difficult to keep track of Earth time in deep space, probably trillions and quadrillions of light years away from their home. Lance was probably twenty two, if Pidge’s Earth calendar was even somewhat accurate. He’d grown taller and broader, his musculature lean but strong. His blue eyes still shone with mirth, but layers of the shit they’d all seen left a haze sometimes. Shiro wanted nothing but kind truths and a gentle, quiet life for Lance, but that wasn’t in their cards.
And somehow falling in love was?
At least, it was one of Shiro’s cards. A colourful tarot card with Lance’s face on it, holding a bow in one hand and a knife in the other, fell into his palm maybe a year ago. He held onto it, barely able to comprehend what it meant, until he looked up and saw Lance. Lance, pestering Pidge as she worked on a new upgrade for the Green lion. Lance, sprawled on the couch with Hunk and talking about their time in the garrison. Lance, brushing out Allura’s hair and humming a song to himself. Lance, laying down lightning fast cover fire to keep Keith safe as he hacked away at enemy sentries. Lance, head bent and frown in place as he and Coran worked out their next plan of attack.
And he’s absolutely one of the most beautiful people Shiro has ever seen, on top of everything else. What chance did Shiro ever have, anyway?
Was it inappropriate? Sure. Shiro was a leader, the head of Voltron. For all intents and purposes, a commanding officer, despite not being that much older than Lance. But Shiro was nothing if not good at learning, and one constant lesson that kept cropping up no matter where they were in the galaxy was that when love presented itself, one should seize it and hold fast.
So as Keith and Pidge made their way to the weapon racks to put their staves back, Shiro crossed the room, grabbing a fresh water bottle and towel and approached Lance. He was leaning on his stave, staring at nothing. Shiro tossed the towel at him. Lance startled, but his reflexes were quick, and he caught the towel before it hit the floor. He blinked up at Shiro, and his face relaxed into a small smile.
“That was amazing to watch, Lance. You were incredible,” Shiro complimented.
Lance inhaled sharply, his eyes careful and his lips quirking into the barest of smiles.
“Oh, thanks Shiro.” He took the water bottle that Shiro offered, uncapping it and taking several long drinks from it. He brought the bottle away from his lips with a smack, dragging the back of his hand across his mouth. “Did you want to spar?” Lance offered, raising one eyebrow slightly. Shiro wondered why he’d ask like that, like he was confused about something, but then he realised that he probably was staring at Lance with a rather stupid look on his face. He blinked and shook his head.
“Oh! No, I just got done hand to hand with Hunk and he really didn’t go easy on me,” he chuckled. Lance smiled at him.
“Okay. Well, I’m going to go wash up,” he said. The smile on his face fell a little, and Shiro tipped his head to the side almost imperceptibly. But Lance had started walking away from him already, his long legs carrying him away from Shiro quickly.
“Maybe tomorrow, Lance?” Shiro called, taking a step toward him. Lance paused, twisting around and looking back at Shiro. “Maybe you could show me some, uh, techniques tomorrow?” he asked hopefully. The small half smile graced Lance’s lips again, and he gave a short nod.
“Sure, Shiro.” He gave a little wave with his staff, and then turned away again. Shiro watched him walk away with more than a little wistfulness in his gaze. This was going to be harder than he thought.
---
The next opportunity Shiro found was a week later. Allura had ordered the Paladins to find each find an activity to do by themselves, that didn’t involve even being in the same room as the others. Her purpose behind this was that everyone needed time to move in and out of their own head and center themselves. She insisted on it, and finally convinced them by assuring them that she and Coran would be doing the same.
Hunk left to tinker with the training bots, and Pidge cooped herself up in the Green Lion’s hangar. Keith took Red out for a joyride, Coran was in the kitchen, and Allura found a corner of the ship’s small library and curled away there. Lance had waved at his teammates and then wandered off down a corridor, hands stuffed into the pockets of the jacket that somehow still fit, though it didn’t hang so loosely on his frame anymore. Shiro grabbed a datapad and cast a sidelong glance at the blue paladin as he left the commons. He hefted the datapad in his hand, pursing his lips at it once Lance wandered out of sight. He thought about opening the reader Allura helped Pidge develop, so that he could learn Altean. He toyed with the idea of poring over the latest reports from their previous mission. He thought about training.
“Nope,” he said aloud to himself, tossing the datapad to the couch. He stretched his arms upward and set a course for his bedroom. He left the door open, but turned the lights off. He toed off his boots and swapped out his black clothes for softer, looser fitting lounge clothes. He pressed down the slight feeling of “you should be doing something productive!” and squirmed around beneath the blankets until he was completely comfortable. He allowed himself a quiet, happy sigh before he threw an arm over his eyes and committed himself properly to a nap.
He had no nightmares.
He was grateful for it, but there were also no pleasant dreams, either, which meant that when he woke up, it seemed like only five minutes had elapsed. But there was Hunk in his doorway, hands clean but arms covered in grease and a few small scratches. He leaned against the doorframe, smirking playfully at Shiro.
“Comfy?”
“Mmm,” Shiro mumbled, rubbing at his eyes with his thumb and forefinger. His voice was rough from sleep, and he arched his back, satisfied that it didn’t pop or creak. “-time is it?”
“Almost dinner time,” Hunk answered with a shrug. He ignored Shiro’s sleepy grin - there were no clocks in space, ticking the time by in increments of twelve. Asking for the time had become something of an inside joke between them, and a way to remember that Earth was still a part of them. “Everyone is back except you and Lance. I found you first, but...”
“But what?”
“Coran is cooking and I just don’t trust him in my kitchen, man,” Hunk sighed, crossing his arms. Shiro chuckled and threw back the blankets, suppressing a shiver at the lack of warmth. He didn’t really want to leave his bed, which was rather comfortable despite its stark appearance, but the thought of seeing Lance spurred him into action.
“Go take care of Coran, I’ll find Lance.” He stuffed his feet into his slippers, the Black Lion ones that Lance had found and insisted that he wear. He wished Hunk luck in the kitchen and wandered off to search for Lance. Logically, he made his way to Lance’s room, but found it empty. The bedsheets were rumpled and on it lay his signature green jacket, his jeans, socks, and shirt. So he was running around naked somewhere. Great. Shiro cleared his throat with a little cough and turned away from Lance’s room, making his way down to the Blue Lion’s hangar. Blue stood tall and proud, still and cold. Shiro concentrated on his connection to his own lion - he’d discovered that, due to his bond with Black, as the leader of the lions, he was able to sense, to some small degree, the other lions as well. Red was still rumbling happily from her recent outing with Keith, but Green, Yellow, and Blue were silent. Lance hadn’t been through to see her this afternoon.
Shiro left the hangar and stuffed his hands in the pockets of his lounge pants, wandering up the corridors of the castleship at random until he found himself at the observatory. He stepped into the room and looked around, and sure enough, found Lance. The blue paladin had earbuds in his ears and was dressed in all black yoga clothes - a tank top and black cropped pants that stopped just below his knees. Tight black pants, Shiro noted, swallowing. Tight and stretchy looking. Well. He was about to say something, see if he could avoid startling Lance too badly while still getting his attention, but Lance folded his legs and sunk to the floor, his back to Shiro. He laid down on his back with his arms flat on the ground, and then brought his legs straight up in the air. He held them here for a breath or two, then slowly eased them down over his face, lifting his back from the ground, keeping his legs straight and resting all of his weight on his shoulders. Shiro’s eyes widened as he watched Lance lower his feet to the floor behind his head. Shiro covered his mouth with his hand, feeling both awe over this incredible skill and embarrassment for the slew of less than appropriate thoughts that stumbled across his mind. Lance held the pose for one minute, then two, and was approaching three minutes when he finally lowered his legs, slowly, back down to the floor, where he remained still for several minutes after.
He finally sat up, dislodging the buds from his ears and twisting his neck from side to side. Shiro watched him shake himself out, sitting cross legged on the floor. He smiled a little, and then stepped further into the room.
“Lance, there you are!”
The blue paladin turned his head around quickly, his eyes going wide. His bangs stuck a little to his forehead, which was beaded with a fine layer of sweat. “Shiro!” he said, his voice soft with surprise. “How long have you been there?”
“I just got here,” Shiro lied smoothly. He didn’t make a habit of lying to his team, but he really didn’t want to embarrass Lance by telling him that he’d been staring at him while he bent himself into impossible contortions. “Hunk sent me to say dinner’s about ready.” This mollified Lance, who twisted to his feet easily, as if he hadn’t just been pretzeled up in a position Shiro didn’t think a human body could physically attain. Lance left his yoga mat where it was and padded over to Shiro, barefoot. Feeling bold, Shiro extended his elbow to Lance with a grin.
“Hunk sent me an escort? Aw, he’s fond of me after all,” Lance joked. Shiro winked at him.
“Like a personal valet,” he said. Lance chuckled quietly to himself and bumped Shiro’s elbow playfully with his own, instead of taking his arm. Shiro dropped his arm to his side and hid his slight disappointment by asking Lance how his personal yoga time had gone.
Damn.

The marketplace of the planet Juuyu was a vast, colourful series of stores, stalls, booths, and carts. The winding streets were paved with the planet’s trademark glittering stones, shimmering and iridescent in the early evening light. People from innumerable planets milled about the market streets, haggling and bartering and hocking their wares. The planet was a crossroads, a peaceful meeting point for a half dozen galaxies and hundreds of different planets. Long ago, when the lions had first emerged from King Alfor’s lab, they and their original paladins had rescued Juuyu from a fleet of pirates that had been laying siege to the planet for several decades. The denizens of Juuyu, which included several merchant princes from the neighbouring planet of Kentar, were endlessly grateful to the paladins for their rescue. Statues of the lions were erected all over the planet, guardians and reminders of the great deeds they accomplished. Native Juuyan people typically lived extraordinarily long lives, and many remembered the events of those three days well enough to continue telling the tale of the lions of Voltron.
When the lions returned at the behest of Coran, a chaos broke out across the planet. The oldest of the Juuyans wept at the sight of their saviours returning to them once more, and every other person, whether native or a visiting merchant, gaped in reverence and awe as their planet’s greatest legends landed near the King’s palace. The paladins were quite used to gratitude and respect at this point in their careers, but the level of deference and veneration they received from these citizens, especially the elders, floored them. Hunk wiped tears from his eyes as one of the elder Juuyans fell to her knees, weeping and clutching a pendant around her neck that looked suspiciously like a yellow lion, with the most serene smile on her face. Their lions, for their part, roared proudly in unison and then settled down onto their bellies, resting comfortably and completely at ease, which was something they never did outside of their hangars. The paladins had barely begun making their way to the King’s palace when the Juuyans began placing flowers by the enormous paws of the lions, some even being so bold as to place their hands upon the cool metal reverently and gazing up at them, tears in their eyes and words of praise and thanks on their lips. Shiro could hear the happy rumblings from each of the lions in the back of his mind, and though he was surprised how comfortable the lions were here, he had a feeling that they needn’t worry over their lions on this planet.
They were greeted by the King at the doors to the palace, who dropped to his knees before them and gazed at them with the same peaceful adoration that the rest of his citizens did. They were treated as gods, as well as Allura and Coran. The King insisted on showing the paladins to their quarters himself, all the while sharing with them the story of how the lions had prevailed over the pirates and saved Juuyu, its citizens, and their livelihood so many thousands of years ago. The apartments, which took up the entire east wing of the palace, had been built specifically for the paladins, who had apparently returned several times to maintain a relationship with Juuyu. The apartments were lavishly decorated and maintained through these last ten thousand years - there was not a speck of dust to be seen, the tapestries were vibrant and free of rot, and there were fresh flowers in every vase they came across. Lion statues and accents of red, green, blue, yellow, and black were everywhere, tasteful and elegant and opulent.
They were into their third day on the planet, and Shiro was on a mission. He’d heard from one of the servants in the palace that a restaurant had opened in the marketplace, run by a Kentaran shapeshifter that had been to Earth seventy odd years ago. He had brought back a few recipes that were wildly popular here. She said that the food was adjusted a little to better suit the palates of the citizens and visitors, but that he had tried to keep it as natural to Earth as he could. Thanking her profusely, Shiro quickly left the palace and made his way to the marketplace.
He found the building, which didn’t look at all like it served anything from Earth, but he entered it and requested a menu from the flabbergasted and pleased server. Helpful little hand-drawn pictures accompanied every item, and Shiro studied the menu for nearly fifteen minutes. It was an expansive menu, and contained dishes from twenty-two different countries on Earth. He pulled out his phone, or the space equivalent of a phone, and began to compile a list of everything he was going to order. He couldn’t leave this building without taking back massive quantities of Earth food with him for his team. Food goo had gotten old a very long time ago. He ordered sushi, fried cakes, fruit pastries, pizza, lo mein and vegetables, shrimp-esque pasta, several pints of ice cream, odd looking square hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and several burritos. And then his eyes fell upon one dish on the menu, and a grin spread across his face. He ordered two bowls, and graciously accepted the help carrying it all back to his friends.
He found Hunk, Keith, and Pidge first. Keith and Pidge were napping in front of a projection-movie of the Legend of the Lions. He opened a pizza under Keith’s nose - it had been his absolute favourite back home, and it didn’t take long for him to breathe deeply with a serene smile on his face and then sit bolt upright, startling Pidge from her slumber. The red paladin stared around with wide eyes, and then scrambled for the pizza, demanding to know where Shiro had acquired it. Pidge clamored after him, a wide grin on her face, reaching for a slice with twitching fingers.
“Oh my god I love you so much,” she mumbled, her mouth full of cheese pizza and grease. Shiro chuckled, raising an eyebrow as Keith set two pieces on top of one another and then crammed half of it into his mouth at once.
“Lance is rubbing off on you,” he mused. Keith narrowed his eyes at him with a look that very clearly said ‘I would flip you off right now but you’re a bringer of pizza and I can’t possibly be bothered with anything but a food coma right now’. Or at least that’s how Shiro read it. Maybe Lance was rubbing off on him, too.
Soon, maybe.
Clearing his throat, he indicated that he was going to find Hunk and Lance and bring them in. Keith and Pidge both made muffled noises of consent, entirely too busy with the pizza to even notice the rest of the food on the table, let alone Shiro backing out of the room with a bag in his hand.
He called Hunk, as the yellow paladin was nowhere to be found in the palace.
“What’s up, Shiro?” he answered.
“I found a restaurant that serves Earth food and bought half their stock. It’s in the media room with Keith and Pidge. They’re digging into the pizza now and -”
“Did you say pizza?” Hunk asked seriously, his voice calm and tight. Shiro laughed.
“There’s sushi and pasta and burritos, too,” he said. There was a long pause, during which Shiro couldn’t hear anything, not even breathing.
“I love you, Shiro.”
“Hunk?” But there was radio silence on the other end, and when he looked at his space phone, the screen had gone dark again. Smiling to himself, he readjusted the bag in his hand and made his way to Lance’s room.
The blue paladin had been, well, a little blue lately, and Shiro hoped that this surprise would cheer him up. He knocked on the door and stood quietly, though his mind was anything but patient. He had to physically restrain himself from rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet like a child waiting in line for a ride at their favourite theme park. A moment passed, and the door opened, revealing Lance, wearing a blue and gold silk robe and grey lounge pants.
“Oh, hey Shiro,” he greeted, a smile pulling at the corners of his mouth. “What’s up?” Shiro lifted the bag up.
“I have a surprise for you. Can I come in? Or we could go somewhere else?” he suggested.
“We’re both already here,” Lance said, shrugging and stepping aside to let Shiro in. “And now that you said you have a surprise for me, I really need to know what it is.” He followed behind Shiro, peering at the bag. “Am I going to like it?” Shiro laughed.
“I hope so. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found it.” He set the bag down on a round, gilded table with three tall chairs around it. He pulled two tubular containers and lightweight wooden utensils from the bag and set them down on the table. The tubes of food had a flattened bottom so they sat on the table without rolling. Shiro grabbed one and popped the clips on the sides open and removed the lid, setting it aside. He placed the tube in front of Lance, slid him a fork, and said nothing.
Within the tube was a meal of rice and beans, interspersed with what looked like red peppers and onions. The rice was dark, but Shiro knew enough about the dish from Lance’s description to know that it was white rice stained by the black bean juice. It was aromatic and quickly filled the room. He glanced up at Lance; his eyes were wide and his mouth hung open slightly. He gripped the edge of the table and fell into one of the chairs, leaning forward before reaching out and grasping each end of the tube.
“Where did you find this?” he asked, his voice wavering as he kept his eyes fixed on the meal in front of him.
“One of the people in the palace told me about a restaurant that served Earth food, thought we’d like to check it out. I bought a ton of food; most of it is with Pidge, Keith, and Hunk, but I brought this specifically for you. I figured-”
“I haven’t had congri since before I left home for the Garrison,” Lance whispered.
Shiro seated himself in the chair opposite Lance, resting his forearms on the table and picking at the cuticles on his left hand. “I was surprised to find it on the menu, and I remembered how fondly you spoke of it. I figured I’d bring it to you first before we went for the other food, in case you have to hide your disappointment if it’s terrible,” he said lightly. Lance looked up at him, his eyes wide and a little shiny.
“How could this possibly be terrible? I didn’t think I’d ever have this again,” he said, blinking rapidly. He ducked his head and grabbed up a fork, scooping some up and slowly, almost cautiously, bringing it to his mouth. After a few chews, his face split into a smile and he quickly rubbed at his eyes with the heel of his free hand. He swallowed, laughing and gasping for breath simultaneously. He quickly shoveled another two bites into his mouth, and he didn’t stop the next tears from slipped down his face. Shiro stared at him the whole time, content and happy knowing that he’d done something good for someone who deserved it and so much more. He watched every emotion flicker over Lance’s face. He recognized homesickness, having seen it in every person he’d been living with for the last two years. He saw melancholy, happiness, bittersweet memories for people who were probably mourning him. They all melted so seamlessly into one another, and they all came crashing around Shiro when Lance looked up at him and held his gaze. The air around them felt still and Shiro held his breath until Lance smiled at him again.
“How is it?” he asked quietly. Maybe it was a loaded question, but for the life of him he couldn’t think of anything else he could possibly say (because ‘dear god I love you more in this moment than I have ever loved anything’ didn’t seem appropriate).
“It’s - it’s perfect. It’s a little different, like, it’s got this strange kind of papery texture to it at first, but I figure that’s just alien food for you, but it reminds me so much of mama’s homemade congri.” Lance jammed the fork into the rice and took another large bite, chewing quickly and swallowing. “I remember washing and cooking the beans with her when I was a kid, and then having to wait another half an hour after that until the rice was done cooking. It was torture for a six year old but it was so worth it and I-” he broke off his rambling, swiping his tears away again. “It’s nice to remember.”
Shiro sighed happily, hoping that he didn’t sound too dopey. He pushed the second tube of congri toward Lance with two fingers.
“Well, I brought a second serving of it. I’ve seen how you can pack food away. God only knows where you put it,” he joked, rolling his eyes. Lance laughed, loud and from his belly - Shiro hadn’t heard that laugh from him in a while, and he may have heaved another sappy sigh, but he wasn’t counting.
“No, you eat it. Congri this good should be shared.” He nudged the tube back toward Shiro. He opened the container and picked up the wooden fork, taking his first bite of congri. Lance was right about the papery texture, but it didn’t take away from the flavour of the dish at all. Lance watched him knowingly. “Good, right?”
“It’s very good,” Shiro answered truthfully. He took another bite as Lance nodded sagely.
They ate their meals in silence, punctuated only at first by a few sniffles from Lance. Shiro kept his eyes on Lance when he thought he could get away with it, when Lance was engrossed in his food and his mind was a hundred galaxies away. Lance finished first, setting his fork in the tube and holding onto the ends of it.
“Thank you, Shiro,” he said quietly. Shiro was finishing the last bite of his food, bringing a napkin to his mouth and wiping at the corners of his lips. “I can’t... I can’t tell you how much this means to me.”
“Then I’m happy.”
Even if you are super dense.

A few weeks later, the lions all but limped into their hangars after a particularly hairy fight with a fleet of Galra ships, preceded by a vicious fight on a Galra infested planet. The paladins met briefly in the commons of the castleship, just to touch base with one another and Allura and Coran before turning in for a well deserved sleep.
Shiro waited until everyone else had left the room before he took his leave as well, padding down the hallway that would lead to Lance’s room. He was sweaty, sore, bleeding, and gross, but he knew he needed to catch the blue paladin before he hopped into the shower and passed out face first in his bed. He approached the door to Lance’s room and knocked twice, holding his helmet in his hands, rubbing his thumb against the base of it.
“Come in!” Lance’s muffled voice called out. The door slid open, revealing Lance only half dressed in his armour. He had taken off his breastplate and gloves, revealing the tight fitting black flight suit beneath. Shiro swallowed, hopefully inaudibly, at the sight of Lance’s broad shoulders and toned, lean waist. He looked up toward the door and offered Shiro a small, exhausted smile.
“Hey, chief,” he greeted. “Long time no see.” Shiro chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.
“I just wanted to say, before you went to bed, that I, um, we, really counted on you back there, and you came through for us. We would have been done for without you,” he said. Lance smiled, faintly, and bent back over to remove his greaves and boots.
“Oh, thanks, I guess,” he said, somewhat bashfully. Shiro shook his head, taking another step into Lance’s room.
“I mean it. You provided rapid, consistent cover fire that allowed Pidge and Keith to get out of dodge, and then stayed behind to make sure the sentries couldn’t launch from their loading bay to come after us. We wouldn’t have made it out of there in one piece if it hadn’t been for you,” he said earnestly, as sincerely as he could. None of it was an exaggeration, of course; Lance had used every bit of his agility and decisive thinking to formulate the best tactics to get the team out of there safely. It was his own creative brilliance shining through, along with time spent with Coran going over ancient Altean military strategies. Shiro had been on the exterior of a building when Lance had begun barking orders through the comms, indicating when Keith and Pidge should move and which paths had already been cleared for them. Listening to the unwavering, hard edge Lance’s voice had adopted had, at the time, filled him with pride. Thinking back on them now, they sent bolts of arousal down Shiro’s body.
“I guess?” Lance set his armour in the storage pod in his room, closing the door and activating the castle’s automated care system, which would provide small repairs to the armour and thoroughly clean it. He scratched the back of his head, staring at the pod instead of looking at Shiro. “I mean, I didn’t do anything that you or any of the others wouldn’t do, too. I’m just glad you guys made it out of there without breaking any bones.” He turned to Shiro then, a weak grin on his face. “No stints in the healing pods sounds after sounds like a successful mission to me!”
Shiro kind of wanted to put his own head through a wall.
---
Maybe I haven’t been romantic enough, Shiro thought to himself. The only problem being that deep space didn’t lend many opportunities for great romantic scenery. The novelty of meteor showers had worn off for them, especially when they had to pilot their lions through one. Sunsets and sunrises only happened on planets with normal suns. The training deck wasn’t exactly the ideal place for a picnic, either. He wished they’d been to a planet with a beach that wasn’t toxic, but they’d had no such luck. Lance had talked on and on about growing up by the beach, sitting with his toes in the sand when the water and wind became too cool for swimming, and Shiro didn’t even have the means for a simple date to a beach.
He paced in his room until he stopped suddenly. He pinched his chin and debated on whether or not this most recent idea was a good one. Placing his trust in this person was risky. She was ruthless, and collected secrets on people like they were pogs. However, the sooner the proverbial scales tipped in his favour, the sooner her dirt on him would lose its power.
He had no choice.
He needed Pidge.
Fortunately, she just rolled her eyes and thanked him for finally busting a move on Lance, as watching him pine away had been borderline physically painful for her. Shiro leveled her with a flat gaze and implied to her that her dance with Keith was also growing stale to watch.
“That’s neither here nor there,” she dismissed with a wave of her hand, though he hadn’t missed the way a flush crept up her neck. “All I have to do is give him a sweet ass knife or something and it’ll be fine. I’m just waiting for the right moment.”
“And this is my right moment. Or, I hope it is.” Shiro chewed on his lip. Pidge nudged him with her elbow.
“This is as cheesy and romantic as we can possibly achieve on a castle floating in deep space. Lance loves romance. He’ll trip out of his pants and into your arms in no time, big guy,” she said, wiggling her brows at him. Shiro put his palm on her face and shoved her away as she cackled.
“I just want him to stop being so thick headed and see that I’m trying to-”
“Woo him? Court him? Bend him over and-”
“Pidge!”
Working to set things up in secret was a nightmare for Shiro. He was using the observatory, which was where Lance liked to practice his yoga. He and Pidge alternated in keeping the blue paladin busy with menial, mind-numbing tasks and lots of kicked puppy looks. Actually setting things up was only troublesome because of the lewd jokes Pidge made every few minutes. She’d point to various control panels and point out how she thought Lance would look splayed out across them. As she tinkered with the projector, she mimed crude gestures with her thumb, forefinger, and a screwdriver. Testing the projector had been even worse - she made shadow puppets of Shiro and Lance, making exaggerated kissing noises.
“Will you cut that out and turn the damn thing on?” Shiro sighed.
“Sure!” she chirped. Pidge circled around to a spare laptop she’d set up and navigated to the projector program, and then clicked play. “Whoops.”
Shiro watched in horror as two men - two oiled up firefighters - began kissing each other passionately, grinding their hips together and moaning loudly, projected on the wall of the observatory. He whirled around and glared as fiercely as he could at Pidge, who was grinning wickedly.
“Just a little inspiration,” she said sweetly.
“I hate you,” he mumbled dispassionately.
The castleship’s version of evening approached, the lights within dimming just slightly. Shiro glanced up at them, then around the room. It was set up as well as they were going to get it, he supposed. The projector was ready to go, and the right video was queued to play at the press of a button.
“I don’t think there’s much more to be done, except hope it goes well,” Shiro muttered, carding a hand through his hair. Pidge stepped up next to him, her tool bag packed up again. She wound her arm through his, resting her head against his metal bicep.
“This is perfect, Shiro. Lance is going to be over the moon for it. And if he’s not, then he’s a pod person and we should start looking for the real Lance,” she said reassuringly. Shiro reached across with his other hand and squeezed Pidge’s arm gently.
“Thanks, Pidge.”
“No problem, Shiro.”
Dinner was as normal an affair as any, even if Shiro felt like he was sweating buckets. Pidge chattered happily with Keith and Hunk. She tried drawing Lance into the conversation as well, but the blue paladin remained quiet, claiming exhaustion from cleaning the healing pods that afternoon. Shiro felt a pang of guilt; Pidge must have seen his somewhat panicked look and gave him a small smile to reassure him. His breath hitched up again when Lance announced his departure, not even halfway through his meal. Shiro gripped his spork tightly as he watched Lance retreat from the kitchen.
“Oh, Shiro, didn’t you want to go over that new training routine with us early tomorrow morning?” Pidge piped up. Keith and Hunk blinked at her, then looked to Shiro expectantly. She lowered her gaze and gave him a pointed look. “The one you read in a book last night - you told me earlier.” Shiro blinked, his mouth forming a soft ‘oh’ of recognition.
“Yeah, that - that’s right. I forgot all about it,” he said quickly. “It’s a technique that focuses on footwork over immediate assault and I think we could all benefit from it. It’s also supposed to improve fine motor skills and enable you to maneuver terrain better,” he fabricated quickly. It didn’t sound like complete bullshit, at least. Keith nodded and Hunk shrugged.
“I’m down for that,” Keith said. “Shouldn’t you have said something when Lance was still in the room, though?” He looked at Pidge. The green paladin shrugged shamelessly.
“Whoops.” Shiro made a show of rolling his eyes. He pushed back from the table, barely having started on his own meal.
“I’ll go tell him.” Before he was dragged back into any conversation, he strode from the room, doing his best to not seem like he was sprinting after Lance.
He might have to sprint after him, he thought. Where did he get to so quickly? Shiro jogged down the corridor and took a hard left, toward Lance’s room. Christ, he was quick. He was already approaching his door, ready to retreat for the evening.
“Lance, hold up!” he called. Lance paused and turned around, an unreadable expression crossing his face before he relaxed into a small smile.
“What’s up, Shiro?” he asked, leaning against his door. Shiro jogged up to him lightly, stopping a few feet in front of him.
“Did you, uh, have anything planned for the night?” he asked. Lance shrugged.
“Not really. Was gonna read a little, but nothing I can’t put off if you need help,” he offered. Shiro shook his head.
“No, I don’t need help with anything. There was just something I wanted to show you, if you felt up for a little company for a while,” he said, trying not to sound bashful or nervous. He didn’t think he was doing a very good job. Lance didn’t answer right away; his crossed arms tightened just a little, causing Shiro to take an involuntary step back. He breathed in and then nodded once, and Shiro relaxed a little. He offered Lance his most sincere smile, hoping to put the other man at ease, then motioned for him to follow. Lance walked beside him, half a step behind him. Shiro shortened his pace a little, feeling a little guilty for how tired Lance was if his long legs weren’t keeping pace with Shiro’s own stride.
Lance remained quiet, and while Shiro was a little concerned by his silence, he didn’t mind not explaining that he was taking Lance on a surprise date. Rather to just let him walk into the observatory and be, as Pidge said, totally blown away and swept up in Shiro’s romance. Shiro’s expectations were a little less gilded than Pidge’s fantasy, but he hoped the sentiment was there, at least. Best case scenario, Lance would fling himself into his arms and they’d cuddle, and maybe kiss, for the rest of the evening. Worst? A firm handshake from Lance as Shiro tore his hair out and started back at square one. Shiro firmly pushed thoughts of the latter from his mind, focusing on what this evening really meant: something nice done for Lance. Whether Lance ever reciprocated his feelings or not, he still deserved kindness and someone to care about him. If he kept trying and failing as he had been, despite Lance’s proclamations at desiring a cliché romance, then he would, happily or not, resign himself to Lance’s platonic gratitude. Lance deserved the world, a glittering, magical, gold-dipped world filled with everything that made him smile and nothing else. He deserved happiness, and if Shiro could give him that, however small the doses out here in space may be, then he would. Always, without fail.
Steeling himself, he pressed open the door to the observatory and motioned for Lance to step inside first. Lance side eyed him with a smile, but stepped inside and glanced around in the darkness. Shiro entered the observatory and made his way to Pidge’s dimly glowing laptop. The lights to the observatory were temporarily controlled by the laptop, thanks to Pidge’s genius, and he slid the bar on the laptop screen up until the lights were glowing at a dim, warm ambiance. Blankets were piled up on the observatory couch, which had been turned to face the far wall. To the couch’s right, the wide, tall windows displayed the black and silvery vastness of space, barely creeping past them as the castleship floated without much direction. A small tray of sweet tea and two cups were positioned on the table near the laptop. The projector was mounted on the ceiling and there were speakers fixed in the corners of the room. Shiro looked up at Lance, who had stalled in the middle of the room and was staring at Shiro with that unreadable expression on his face again.
“Come on, sit down,” Shiro said, gesturing to the couch. Lance moved around and sat, pulling a blanket around and hugging it to his chest, his feet restless on the ground.
“What is all this?” he asked quietly, his eyes darting from the pitcher of tea to the laptop to Shiro.
“Just something I thought you’d enjoy,” Shiro answered, pouring two glasses of tea. He pressed a button on the laptop, then stepped around the table, handing one to Lance and settling down beside him. The projector flickered to life, and before the image displayed on the wall, the sounds of a seagull screeched through the speakers.
Lance startled, glancing around, eyes wide, grasping his glass of tea. A video slowly began to fade into view on the wall in front of them, and Lance’s gaze snapped to it immediately.
“Oh my god,” he murmured, sitting forward. “Is that-”
“I don’t know if it’s your Varadaro Beach, but it’s a beach,” Shiro said. He took a sip of tea, settling back on the couch to better watch Lance’s reaction. The video looked as though it had been taken on a camera track, like they used at football games. It moved slowly and stopped intermittently, going up and down a white coastline with foamy blue waves crashing upon it. Gulls dipped and screamed in and out of the picture, and the sounds of the waves ebbed and flowed with their image on the wall. In the far distance, a sailboat bobbed along, a speck of white on the horizon line. The sky was blue, barely broken by pale, wispy white clouds floating high in the sky. The video was picturesque, and between the video and the accompanying sounds, he could almost smell the salty sea air. He fixed his gaze on Lance, and was surprised to see the young man’s jaw clenched tightly, the skin by his temple rippling as he ground his teeth. A tear slipped down his cheek, racing toward his chin and then falling onto the blanket.
Shiro sat forward and gently touched his fingers to Lance’s back. “Lance, what’s wrong?”
The blue paladin didn’t answer immediately; he took a deep breath, inhaling shakily as he brought a hand up and swiped at his tears. He turned to face Shiro, his face still fixed with that unreadable expression that perplexed the hell out of Shiro.
“What are you doing?” he asked, his voice quiet but firm. Shiro furrowed his brow.
“What do you mean?” he asked. “I thought you’d like this.” He tried to hide the hurt in his voice. Lance gestured, almost accusingly, at the projected video.
“You do realize what this all looks like, right?” he demanded. Shiro glanced at the video, but Lance huffed in annoyance. “Not just the video, Shiro. The tea, the blankets, the lights. This looks like a date!” He hissed the last word, his voice dropping low. Shiro sat further forward quickly, his eyes wide and hopeful.
“You - you think this is a date?” he asked, praying to every god he could think of that his words didn’t sound like he was mocking. Lance crossed his arms and frowned at Shiro.
“If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck,” he snapped. Shiro’s face split into a grin and he scooted closer to Lance, feeling like he was about to float right off the couch in happiness. This is where it should be going. He could finally tell Lance that he’d been trying to court him, that he wanted to be with him.
“Then it’s a duck,” he finished for Lance. “Or, a date. But yes.” Shiro tilted his head back and let out a sigh of relief, one he’d been waiting to release for nearly a year. “God, I’m so glad you knew what this was right away. I’ve been trying to get your attention for months, if I’d known this is what it would take, I’d have-”
“You what?”
Lance’s voice was hardly a whisper, and even then it wavered pitifully. Shiro ceased his victory immediately upon hearing those shattered words leave Lance’s mouth. Lance looked like he’d been stabbed by Shiro instead of courted by him. His blue eyes were wide and glassy with unshed tears, and his breath came shallowly and raggedly. His arms had unfolded and fallen to his sides, limp and completely without any of the energy that Shiro was so often used to seeing in him. Shiro reached for one of Lance’s hands but stopped when he saw him flinch. He sighed.
“Of course I have, Lance. I’ve - I mean, I’ve been trying, anyway. I’m not very.. not very good at this whole dating thing, but I’ve been trying to show you how much you mean to me,” he confessed, feeling stupid. “I guess I wasn’t being romantic enough before, which is why I had Pidge help me go all out with this.” He waved a hand about, indicating the entire observatory setup. Lance’s expression didn’t change, and his gaze didn’t leave Shiro’s face.
“You.” The fracturing Lance’s voice cut into Shiro as deeply as any blade might. “You did... this? You - you like me?” he gasped out. Shiro grabbed at Lance’s hands, taking them both into his before he could pull away.
“Lance, I - what did you think I’d been trying these past several months, singling you out, following you around like you’re the only lifeboat on board?” he asked gently.
“I thought you were being nice!” Lance gasped. His hands tightened into fists in Shiro’s grasp, and his eyes began to stutter back and forth, as if he were looking for an exit in a burning building. Shiro felt his heart breaking, and he did his best to soothe Lance by rubbing at the calloused skin of his hands with his own calloused thumb.
“You - Lance, you love romance. You’ve said you’ve watched every corny rom-com there was before we came out to space. And you - you’re not stupid, Lance,” he murmured. “Why wouldn’t you.. why wouldn’t you assume that I was trying to - to ask you out, or something?” He hoped he wasn’t making Lance feel like a fool, but he thought he’d been rather obvious. Lance finally managed to focus his gaze back on Shiro’s face, and he looked like he was fighting hard to keep his countenance from falling apart. He sighed, his head tilting just slightly to the side and his eyes falling out of focus again.
“I noticed the extra attention, but I didn’t think that you’d ever like someone like me, so I convinced myself that there was nothing else behind it,” he whispered. Shiro’s breath hitched, then paused in his chest.
“What do you mean ‘someone like you’?” he asked quietly, though he felt that he’d figured out the answer, and it was sitting heavy in his gut.
“I’m not anything special. I mean, sure, I pilot Blue, but anyone can do that - Allura could take my place any time,” Lance said. “And you,” he said emphatically, looking back to Shiro and cracking a weak, broken smile. “I’ve been in love with you for so long, but what chance did I have? What could you possibly see in a mediocre cargo pilot like me?”
Shiro’s breath left his lungs, his stomach churning violently and his throat tight with emotion. He released Lance’s hands and reached up with his left hand to cradle his cheek. Lance clenched his eyes shut, a few more tears escaping.
“You are a thousand times the man any cargo pilot could ever hope to be,” Shiro whispered. Lance’s face finally crumpled, and he grasped at Shiro’s wrist, flexing his fingers around it. “And even if you were a cargo pilot, how could that ever take away from everything else that you are?” Lance snorted, a fresh wave of tears falling.
“Like obnoxious-”
“Passionate,” Shiro interrupted.
“Never serious-”
“You find positivity in every situation.”
“I never know when to shut up-”
“Your mind never stops working.”
“And I can’t stop fucking crying when I’m trying to talk!”
“Feeling is hardly a flaw, Lance,” Shiro chastised gently, a smile creeping onto his face. Lance shook his head.
“I have nothing to offer you, Shiro!” He sounded like he was trying to be firm, but his voice simply cracked again. He pulled Shiro’s hand away from his face. “You are so - so you, and you could do so much better than a skinny little nobody from Cuba,” he sobbed. Shiro breathed in deeply, a small, patient smile on his face.
“There’s one pretty cool thing about being me, though,” he said. “Know what that is?” Lance shook his head. “I’m the only one who gets to decide who’s good enough for me to love.” Lance’s eyes widened. “And I think I’d decided on you a long time before I even realized it.”
This time it was Lance’s hands that reached out and clasped at Shiro’s. They were shaking and clammy when they touched at Shiro’s, and Shiro held them fast, keeping them steady and still. He twisted his body so he faced Lance entirely, and gently tugged on Lance until he shifted as well.
“You love me?” Lance asked, his voice hardly even audible enough to be considered a whisper. Shiro brought Lance’s knuckles to his lips and kissed them, not breaking eye contact.
“If it’s not painfully obvious by now that I do, then I guess I’ve got the rest of our lives to prove it. If you’ll let me, I mean,” he amended hastily. Lance’s eyes were wide, his mouth having fallen open slightly.
“Are you-”
“Yes, Lance, I am,” Shiro said, his face pulling into a grin. He released Lance’s hands to once more cup his face, and he gently guided his face closer. He watched Lance’s face filter through so many emotions; it was almost as if every single thing Shiro had done to try and get Lance’s attention was sinking in, moment by moment, month by month, smile by smile. Recognition clicked into place like cogs in a machine and Shiro relished in watching Lance come to the beautiful realization that he was so, so loved.
Without a sound, Lance fell forward against Shiro, his arms instantly wrapping around his neck. Shiro let his hand slide back into Lance’s hair and he guided their lips together. His grey eyes slid shut as he slanted his mouth against Lance’s and kissed him for all he was worth. Lance’s lips were soft and warm and a little wet with tears, and he thought briefly that maybe he should have been applying lip balm to ease how chapped his were from gnawing on them. Lance didn’t seem to care about the moisture of his lips, if his happy little sigh was any indication. Shiro dropped his hands to Lance’s waist and tugged him forward, encouraging Lance to move closer.
Lance took things a step further than Shiro imagined, but he certainly wasn’t complaining. The blue paladin crawled into his lap and wound his long legs around his waist, settling against him easily and comfortably. Shiro hummed contentedly into their kiss, wrapping his arms around Lance’s waist and holding him tight. Lance’s hands eventually found their way to the back of Shiro’s head, and he dug his long fingers into his short hair. Shiro chuckled into the kiss, and Lance followed suit until they broke apart, grinning widely at one another. Lance bent his head and touched his forehead to Shiro’s.
“I was so stupid,” Lance muttered. Shiro kissed him again, chaste and light.
“You’re hardly stupid, Lance. But you lack confidence,” he answered honestly. Lance flushed.
“I try not to bother anyone with it,” he mumbled. Shiro tightened his arms around Lance, pressing them closer together.
“First, you are never a bother. Not to me, not to anyone on this ship. Second,” he trailed off in order to kiss Lance again, deep and passionate. Lance hummed into the kiss, smiling against Shiro’s lips. “I get to help you work on it.” He kissed him again, quick but no less eager than before. “And I don’t care how many of these it takes-” he paused for another series of kisses, “or how often I have to tell you that you’re the most breathtaking person I’ve ever laid eyes on-”
Lance made a sound of embarrassment and buried his face into Shiro’s neck.
“-but I will do everything in my power to make sure you never forget that you are truly the most incredible person I’ve ever known,” Shiro finished in a whisper, his lips resting against the shell of Lance’s ear. He gently pulled back so he could look at Lance properly, framing his face with both of his hands. “Is that okay?” Tearfully, Lance nodded fervently. Shiro swiped at the tears with his thumbs and kissed Lance again, and again, and again.
The gulls screeched from the speakers, and the video had long since looped to the beginning again, trekking down an endless white beach. The waves crashed and receded from the shore, just as Shiro’s lips crashed and receded to and from Lance’s over and over again that night, until they were both too exhausted to do much else but rub noses and breathe each other in.

⭐The Elemental Alignment of G-Dragon - Oracle Reading
[The Elemental Alignment of G-Dragon (Kwon Jiyong), born August 18, 1988 — Leo. I used the Wild Unknown: Animal Spirit Oracle deck and my Rider-Waite tarot. This spread is an original design by me. This reading lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes.]
Pre-Reading:
When I first got into BTS I tried to branch out and explore other KPop groups and Big Bang was one of the first that I checked out and liked. I wasn’t a huge fan of their music, but I liked them a lot as people, and as with most groups that I like, I just ended up watching interviews and crack videos of them. TOP and GD were my main dudes just because they seemed so fucking weird in every way to me that I immediately clung to their image and was like, yeah, lol, I stan.
With GD he’s really one of those people that exudes their energy, he forces you to notice him. And of course, I’m sure that has something to do with his Leo energy, but there’s a lot more to him than that. It’s not just a Fire core and Sun level projection, he has a very specific frequency that literally pulls things to him. It’s difficult to explain, of course, but it literally looked like this big magnetic ball being rolled down a hallway and all the doorknobs and hinges on the doors were being ripped out of the wood and sticking to the ball. The more that stuff stuck to it, the faster it rolled and the more violently metal was ripped from the wood.
-full reading with photos under the cut-
It makes sense in my head, kind of like a “snowball effect” in terms of his career where it wasn’t so much about who he was, it was about where he was. He was always magnetic, always very worthy of that spotlight, but he had to get to the right hallway and get the right door knobs and hinges on his side before doors really started to open to the world, you know? The right people had to see him and once someone got behind him, he was good. It was a slow build though.
His energy does feel very, very balanced though in terms of Fire and Water as he is well known for projecting that very vibrant and creative energy, not necessarily outspoken, definitely forward thinking when it comes to his work, his passion, and the industry in general. Feels very Scorpio but also very Aquarius, so he either has those energies very prominently in his chart, or their ruling planets have some sort of imprinting on him and his core energy. Basically, he’s just out here to grow and to move very fast in his later years especially. I think his more public success occurred in his late twenties, and the more private personal progress will happen in his thirties. Not to say he won’t have any public work or success in that timeframe, but most of what happens will be more for him to grow from rather than to show.
So, for the quick energy read there’s a lot going on here, but it’s all pretty simple and can be boiled down to that he likes to work alone and likes to put himself and his ideas first, but he would gladly bring other people into his space if he felt that he could benefit from them. That kind of makes him sound like an asshole, but it’s really not that bad once you get into it a bit more.
The High Priestess, The Hermit, and The Magician all came out together in that order and that was a very clear indication that he likes to work alone because he has one of those artist brains where you never really see the final product in your head, you just feel it, and in order to see it, you have to go through a certain kind of processing in order to really conceptualize it. Once it’s conceptualized, then it can be brought into reality. Because these are all majors, this shows the very extreme levels of this process as the Priestess implies spontaneous clairvoyance rather than inspiration, the Hermit implies mental reformation rather than simple planning, and the Magician implies full-on magic and manifestation rather than mundane work and building something up.
This process is so embedded and so validated to him by his accomplishments so far that he won’t budge from it. It’s borderline divine in his eyes and bringing other people in could mess with the flow.
However, once you get down to the bottom cards you can see the exception. First off, the 2 of Cups came out between The World and The Empress, which showed that he would put himself (The World) above any and all relationships, but this here was pointing more towards romantic relationships, unless he saw them as The Empress, someone who could provide and manifest just as much or even more than he could.
There’s even a trade of sorts that occurs where he would give them the 10 of Cups and in return, they give him the 9 of Pentacles and The Fool. So, he’s not manipulating people or trying to use them, he is looking for a fair exchange. The 10 of Cups is pointing towards literally anything, as in, he’s willing to help people or provide for people in any way if they are someone who can do the same for him. His goal is more defined though as suggested by the 9 of Pentacles. It’s mostly money based, success, fame, all that good stuff, staying on the right track with his work because with all of that he has the energy of The Fool. He feels free when he knows that his position is secure.
I imagine because of the way that he was raised and how he grew up in the industry, he is very concerned about falling behind or “getting knocked off the top” in a sense. It’s probably something that really gets under his skin sometimes, so when he is for sure in a place where he can’t be knocked down and he knows things are going to work out, then he can really breathe.
Within all of this, there is also the 9 of Wands, the 8 of Swords, and The Hanged Man all standing between The Magician and The Fool. Just to be clear, what the Magician is ultimately trying to manifest is not the 9 of Pentacles, it is the freedom within The Fool, so with these blocks in between you can see where things get mixed up and how he may see money and fame and status as his only gateway to that freedom.
Basically, those three cards show that there is a lot of hesitancy towards some kind of change that could actually get him in a spot where he could be free, but that change would be quite massive and would completely change his life. He would literally have all that freedom, still be quite well off, even more so, but where he is now with his career is all he feels he knows, what’s beyond that seems to frighten him. He has options, but he’s not taking him. All of that is putting the Hanged Man, suspension, over top of that freedom and making it inaccessible. This hesitancy and uncertainty may also be why he feels that only other people can assure him the rewards of the 9 of Pentacles.
All around, he could literally do anything he wanted to do, could have a lot of success with investments and such as an exclusive business, but he’s not really sure how to navigate all of that outside of his bubble that he’s had for a long, long time. It’s like the only thing he’s sure of is that process between The High Priestess, The Hermit, and The Magician, which is completely wrapped up in his artistry through music and fashion, things to be displayed. That aspect of display is one of the things that is separating him from freedom as well.
The Reading:
Current State of Core Energy:
Fish — Water (Reversed)
This is a very temporary core state that he’s in right now like there’s some kind of cycle in it. I imagine with that Fire and Water energy, it's going back and forth between an imbalanced Water and imbalanced Fire, but either way, they are going to be pushed out eventually by that Phoenix energy in the Higher Self Core State position at some point which will trigger a reset or a “Tower Moment” where there is a restructuring of some sort in how he is able to express himself.
Both his Water and Fire alignments are well aligned but are imbalanced, which was feeling a lot like something being plugged up or stopped. I was seeing it like saran wrap being put around that metal ball with all the knobs and hinges on it, which caused it to slow down. That FIre and Water energy are cycling through the core because they’re both trying to project past the saran wrap to get things moving again. Constant projection and expression allow the two energies to mingle properly and balance with each other, however here, this shows that he is not able to express himself how he wants to, not able to create how he wants to and is therefore slowly falling away from that balance.
The Fish itself is a very “go with the flow” kind of energy, it trusts the currents to take it wherever they please as no matter where it is, it is at home in the Water, it is at home in constant change. When it is reversed it is a fish that swims against the current and then turns around and swims with it. It changes its mind, gets confused, even panics as it forgets which way is up and which way is down. The state of the core is very much in that state where it’s just flip-flopping back and forth, moving around in the dark.
I was also getting the feeling of losing identity just as much as he’s losing his ability to express. His expression, his projected energy, like any Leo, is their identification and in any state where they are not able to express or project, they can feel detached and very unstable within themselves. To be honest, I haven’t really kept up with him or Big Bang over the last few years, but I know that he’s doing his military service stuff, so that might be a cause for this internal imbalance.
Elemental Water Alignment
Spider — Earth (reversed)
Even here that energy of being disconnected and drained is in this Spider energy in its reversed state. When it is upright the symbol of the Spider has a lot to do with prosperity being brought in by hard work. As in, the Spider takes its time and builds its web, and then once it’s complete it is able to sit in the middle and have a rest while it’s food comes to it and gets caught in the web. It’s a lot like that image of the magnetic ball where things just naturally come his way. He rolled and rolled through all these hallways, and then eventually he was able to just be pushed by his own magnatism, and he was able to accumulate so much for himself.
However, this here is very exhausted energy. His Water, kind of, is being dried up, or the Water is stagnating to the point where he himself is caught in the web, caught up in his own creative energy. If you bring in the idea of the fish, you can think of it as the spider being the fish and the web being the water that it swims through. Once it gets confused and starts thrashing about it can get lost and start swimming in circles while the Spider gets tangled up in its own creation.
For him, I think that the web is that process between the High Priestess, The Hermit, and The Magician. It was something that stabilized him with that Earth energy, it was a process he used to bring about success. It was a sure thing that he used, but in his current position, it seems like a glass of ice water in the middle of the desert that he just can’t reach.
In terms of his Water energy, he’s missing something, most likely that flow of expression, and it’s throwing him off.
Elemental Fire Alignment:
Elephant — Fire (reversed)
I’ll keep this one short as it is literally the same thing as the Fish and the Spider. It’s misdirection and confusion about how to move around, how to proceed from the current position, and feeling as though he is being pushed back in some way. Most of what he has built up for himself and what he understands has been broken down or moved around in a way where he’s really feeling that shift, he’s feeling like he’s not in control, very insecure with his position.
It’s just this vibe of being stuck, not able to express, or project energy, creativity, or even personality. This can also indicate a crisis of identity if this is reaching conscious levels.
Elemental Earth Alignment
Vulture — Air
As the Earth Alignment also shows self-awareness, this card points to him being very aware of this imbalance or at least the discomfort of it and is, therefore, taking it in stride. He himself is not the Vulture, but the situation is, his surroundings, his earth is the Vulture.
The Vulture is a creature who comes along to pick the meat off of something that has already died. It points out something you may have not even noticed there and it picks it clean, leaving behind the bones, the foundation, something to rebuild on.
In a way, you could see this as him really taking on this shift in environment, the shift in understanding, to reassess himself and how dependent he may be on that control and familiarity within his life. One of the key phrases with this card is “Guardian and purifier, essential for rebalance.”
I say this all the time to people, but if you’re ever put in a position where you are uncomfortable with your environment and within yourself, then there is something to learn from that. That is a hole you have to pull yourself out of, and when you do there is fresh air and clarity at the very top waiting for you. It’s a process, and as the Phoenix suggests, it is one that he has to go through in order to enter a new phase of soul progression, which is most likely what I was seeing with him in his 30’s.
Elemental Air Alignment
Tarantula — Fire
This is really fucking cool, because this is literally the spider in the web, lol.
This card is about needing to make choices, but specifically choices that would move your towards your soul purpose through soul progression and alignment. This is a conscious effort as well as it sits in the Air alignment. Obviously, I don’t think he’s 100% pondering on the ~soul purpose~ thing, but he’s thinking about what to do next. He’s aware that he’s tangled in the web, what he’s created for himself, and he has to make the choice of once he’s out of it, is he going to struggle to repair the web and hope it doesn’t happen again, or is he going to abandon it and create something completely new with those bones that are left by the Vulture.
This is a lot of mental stimulation as well because that Fire is fueling the intellectual center, almost like the blocked Fire in the Fire alignment is being pushed into the mind. What’s probably happening, since the energy can’t be properly processed or projected through the Water or Fire Alignment, Water and Fire energy are being traded back and forth between the Air Alignment and the Core energy.
So, it’s like he gets these ideas, understands things, tries to communicate them to someone or even just himself, but then he can’t so then the other energy comes in. It goes back and forth between determination, steady on changing, and then very emotional and confused energy that can really pull him down. Sort of a low-key “dark night of the soul” sort of thing where he’s just spiraling, but for the sake of purification of the ego and progression of the soul. It’s actually kind of dope.
Higher Self Core State:
Phoenix — Spirit
I liked that this card showed up for him in the Higher Self state because Lana Del Rey got the same one (I did their readings the same day) and they both point to these shifts towards a broader awareness of the self. Lana’s a bit further along, but in a very general sense, Jiyong is heading for a more expansive and self-aware mindset as a result of this new energy eventually being pushed down into his core.
The Phoenix is associated with transformation and rebirth coming from destruction. A better image to have in mind is the visual of the first tree to sprout after a raging forest fire. The roots always stay in the ground, those original seeds that allow for rebirth to occur. That is why this card is associated with the Root Chakra, with the base of the spine where we connect and tether into the Earth’s energy.
Everything can be torn down, but that base, that foundation will always be there within the individual and therefore anything has the potential to be built on top of that. So, I know a lot of the more negative aspects of this reading can be a bit concerning, but it is necessary for people to experience this kind of thing, good and bad work together to bring balance and understanding to us and the world around us.
As I mentioned, his energy is very balanced, not so much inflow, but in components and what is available to him to use and grow on, so I have no doubt this mode he is in now will have prosperous results if he’s able to move through it and learn from it as he is meant to.
That’s all I have for this reading. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
