I don't know what world these people live in....like my husband's name feels weird when I say it because it's always sexy, love, babe, hey...etc. and that was before we had kids and added all the dad titles.

Just saw a TikTok complaining about ‘kitten’ as a pet name in fanfiction and while I do agree with their discomfort on that one the comments were FULL of people mentioning all the other common pet names ?? Like honey babe baby sweetheart etc ?? Is your partner just supposed to call you by your name the whole time ????????

zoro who is so caught off guard by sanji’s kinder actions towards him is one of my favorite tropes. sanji crafting him specialized post workout snacks personally adjusted for him but still down to fight and call him names. he’s still the biggest asshole zoro has ever had the displeasure of knowing, and he’s horribly considerate. he’s a little confused but doesn’t reject any of sanji’s specialized treats. it’s not like sanji is fawning and doting over him like he does nami, so zoro feels like he can cross off sanji actually liking him from his list of reasons as to why sanji is acting like this. but it’s still fucking strange..

If Bruce tells him no, it becomes a whole theatrical show; a monologue, a narration, embellishments, and falling onto the floor in his grief upon the fact his cruel father has denied him once again.

(Jason who has suffered through abuse and homelessness and poverty and starvation, who is the Fight out of Fight or Flight, who's built up defenses and walls and when pushed and triggered responds with the thing that's always protected him; anger. He's sweet and kind and funny, and when he sees a pimp hitting a prostitute he gets furious and responds with violence.)

And my thing STILL is that as carmen gets a stronger sense of her past and better connections with her friends and allies the need/desire for Gray in her life doesn't decrease and dissapate, it INCREASES and is refined. All while constantly being more sincerely layered in romantic tones as the show goes on.

I think the reason beckory works well is that tony has a habit of getting self righteous and in his own head about things but Gregory isnt afraid to tell him off or call him out about things. the point of tony in ggy is that nobody ever told him that how hes treating other people isnt good, so that's why he got so bad. but tony would be close to Gregory and have every rational reason in the world to listen to Gregory so when he would say something like "you're treating ellis badly and that's not what a good friend does, you need to do better" hed actually listen and take it into account and improve himself

I love the disastrous life of saiki k so much its so incredibly important to me

I don't really feel like talking about it right now, though I'm sure I will at some point. Overall it's just a lot of fun but also the messages are really important to me. I love the representation of how important friendship is and the idea of growing fond of people without reallyrealizing, and how there isnt really much of a real romantic subplot. The queercoding (coding, guys, not baiting. There is a difference.) especially of saiki as aroace. Overall the plot is a really good for really any disability. Of course everyone gets the autism coding from saiki, but because it really works for disability in general. And I love how the ending is accepting this disability and deciding you'd rather love with it instead of being "fixed".

Theres so much more about this show/manga I love and I'm sure I'll talk about it at some point but these are just a few surface level things. It really is wonderful.
