I think it's actually soooooo funny that they killed off Xavier for a hot second just so he could come back as a paranoid believer. like I'm sorry but to attone for your cheating crimes we put you in a coma, gave you the death penalty, brought your ass back, and now you keep feeling ghosts but you can't see them yet and everything just feels weird and funky. also the girl you cheated on is kind of maybe sort of dead and you might be part of the cause of that. so like, good luck man, have fun.

We are interrupting our regularly scheduled program to bring you a snippet of a potential ZoSan undercover as a married couple fic:

(Timeline wise shoehorned in sometime shortly after the timeskip, before the Strawhats make it back into the news big time.)

(People need saving from a exclusive circle of nobility, but most of the Stawhats have already been seen around the island, so the lot ends up on Zoro and Sanji to try get in posing as a freshly married couple on their honeymoon to try get more information.)

[after coming up with the plan and Zoro and Sanji hesitantly agreeing]

Robin: "You seem a little stressed, Cook-san."

Sanji, chain-smoking his third cigarette: "I'm fine, I'll do this… I just… I don't like lying about something as significant as marriage, alright? I know it's stupid, but that's just how I am."

Luffy, perking up from where one might have thought he wasn't paying attention at all: "Oi, Sanji, promise to protect Zoro?"

Sanji, puffing out smoke: "Obviously, the Marimo would get lost within all of two seconds without me having his back."

Luffy: "Good! Now, Zoro--!"

Zoro, already rising to the bait: "Oi, if anyone is protecting anyone, I'll be guarding your lanky ass, shit cook!"

Luffy, laughing: "Alright, then as the captain of this ship I hereby pronounce you married!"

Zoro:

Sanji:

Robin: "Oh my, congratulations!"

Brook: bursts into song

Luffy, grinning at Sanji: "See, now it's not a lie anymore, so you don't have to feel bad about calling Zoro your husband."

Zoro: "LUFFY!!! YOU CAN'T JUST--"

Sanji: wordlessly walks off to get ready for the mission

Usopp: "Wait, wait!" runs after Sanji, grabbing his wrist

Sanji: stares

Usopp, sweating nervously: "Need your ring size…"

Sanji: staring intensifies

Usopp, scurrying off as quickly as humanly possible: "Wedding gift!"

Luffy, in the distance, still being yelled at by Zoro: "Too bad we don't have time to celebrate, I really want some wedding cake… :("

A rather intriguing characteristic of psi battle is how it takes places in a mildly different timeline.

Although it happens after the cat tank arc, there's one key difference - Kuusuke did not make the device that removes Kusuo's powers.

This change is the driving force behind the plot, as in: pretty much everything happens because Kuusuke tried to find some other way to help Kusuo (which then backfired).

(That other way being creating fake worlds based on people's delusions.)

Modifying the plot like that also allows for some good moments, like Kusuo having to decide between accepting such reality and few characters' reaction to that.

the thing about julian's crush on jadzia is i love him being a bit pathetic about her in concept but i do not buy that he'd be obsessed with her for like actual years. he is a romantic at heart but i think he'd know when to give up. if someone doesn't stroke his ego within at least a month of him pursuing them it's over

although bruce has a dramatic flare big enough to put any broadway actor to shame, and he gets made fun of for it a lot, i think dick is a secret HUGE admirer of it. doesn't matter how many times he mocks the deep gravely voice of i'm batman, i think dick gets a huge kick out of it and thinks it's secretly so cool. especially!! when he was robin!! and his voice hadn't dropped yet and all he could do was dreammm about was one day getting a deep voice like bruce's and getting to use his own cool voice when talking to criminals to intimidate them. just like practicing the mimic in the mirror and playing audio recordings to himself, trying to master the pitch but his vocal cords literally unable to, and just waitinggg and hopinggg that one day he would get to sound as cool as his #1 hero

My most sensible prediction for Alecto is that at some point in the book, Alecto's soul will go into Noodle.

I really hope nothing bad will ever happen to Noodle but I think that her transfering to a non-human body will give her a very sweet moment of unbridled joy. We know Nona suffers from some sort of dysphoria, wishing she had more legs and finds hands a general nuisance. If anything I am rooting that Alecto will either find a way to transform herself or find another host because having been made as a Barbie is a masive disrespect to everything that she is.

And it might also save her from the fate of every cover character in this series and will survive to be there too in the epilogue.

Also it will be badass as hell and hilariously cartoonish for her to bite John's ass.

I feel like Keith and Lance are both ND but in different ways. Keith is the kind of guy who would really like physical contact and words of affirmation as love languages. He's pretty good at telling Lance how he feels about him later in the series. He'd probably appreciate the lack of ambiguity and take things at face value/put trust in I love yous.

Meanwhile Lance grew up in a big family so they might not have had as much money. Receiving gifts was a really big deal for him growing up. I can imagine Keith giving Lance a cool blue shell he found at an alien market and being all confused, thinking Lance doesn't like it when he goes still. Like he wants to take it back and is disappointed that Lance doesn't like it. But he does, he's just a bit overwhelmed by the gesture. Trying to show why he thought getting some silly shell was a good idea, Keith meekly tells him to look at this pretty part of it, turning it over in Lance's hands, pointing out an opalescent part that's all different kinds of blues. Says it reminds him of Lance's eyes.

Lance says something like "How would you know what colour my eyes are" because eye contact is not Keith's forte, but there's no bite behind it, and Keith doesn't get the joke anyway, just looks nervous. Keith just says they're pretty, as if he couldn't not have noticed. Lance puts it down on his side table gently. Keith says "You don't like it?" Lance gives him a super tender kiss. They kiss for a while holding each other, and Keith hugs him, sighing with contentment into lance's shoulder. Says "Holding you feels like home" then Lance dies on the spot
