Her monthly column in W chronicles fashion, art, and adventure. In this, her first book, she has written an irreverent how-to guide for dressing for every occasion, finding fashion inspiration, living stylishly, and having fun while doing it.
Covering style and beauty for daytime, nighttime, travel, and work, this book is brimming with chic and inspirational wisdom, from how to pull off bold fashion moves like barely-there tops, enormous hats, and powerful reds; advice for how to survive fashion emergencies (like what happens when you show up to an event in the same dress as someone else); and her secrets for donning multiple outfits in a day (bodysuits are key). Also featured are tips and tricks she has learned from fashion-world friends such as Carolina Herrera, Derek Blasberg, Hamish Bowles, and Anna Dello Russo. Filled with humor and style, this is a must-have book for anyone interested in fashion and having a good time.

your recent post about allene's ball outfit redesign has me Clamoring for more of your thoughts regarding fashion inspiration in the world of spitfire! i know there are significantly fewer characters from places besides nadara/voswain, but do you have fashion inspirations for laruze/ogren/szerenfold/domina as well? (assuming domina is not just Only Dragons Who Probably Do Not Worry About Clothes)
oh i’m so glad you liked that post! i saw your tags and they made me smile :’)
i have some thoughts i can share, but a general rule of thumb for fashion inspiration in spitfire is that it should be eclectic in both region and time period and that when drawing inspiration, the first consideration should always be climate, followed by other considerations like thematically appropriate shape language or other through lines of design, like garments that are made from draping and pinning/tying large swathes of cloth.
there are exceptions and ofc the fashions of more rural areas in the more traditionally “developed” countries will be different from court fashion. like, voswainian court fashion may lean to french and british inspiration, but the more rural areas (where the weather is more extreme and where they don’t have magical heating) has more scandinavian, german and russian inspiration.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
for laruze, most of the fashion ideation i’ve done is specific to the ballards and their followers, which actually draws significant inspiration from modern runway fashion and sci-fi (tho obviously altered to fit the greater context of spitfire), especially where halwynn is concerned. because they are drawing inspiration from a more modern source, there are fingerprints from a lot of cultures in these inspirations, esp japanese fashion and other robe styles.
i wanted it to have elements in common with both voswainian and nadaran fashion (voswainian bc it’s a former voswainian colony, nadaran due to proximity) as well as have its own flair, so for court clothes there’s french and italian with the doublets and gowns etc, and then there are also styles that focus on the use of wrapping/tying large bolts of cloth, tho these do have some sewing (think similar to kimono).
these 3 below were my primary inspiration for halwynn’s fashion specifically
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
while lysithea sticks closer to voswainian fashion for… personal reasons lol. and also because she is, essentially, a dandy.
Tumblr media
i have some fledgling ideas on szerenfold but haven’t totally developed its fashion identity. it’s a quite warm and swampy area. me and my editor have been jokingly referring to it as the florida of the fantasy super continent, so i’ll most likely end up looking to sub-tropical climates like southern china, ethiopia, ecuador, greece, jamaica, etc.
and for ogren… all logic is thrown out the window and literally anything can be inspiration. ogren is a place where i could probably get away with having someone wear jorts, if i really wanted to, but it wouldn’t be a widespread trend. the main story of spitfire won’t get into this as it’s not ogren-centric, but there are actual world building/lore reasons for this.
i would say in general tho for ogren, it is the most eclectic of all the countries, since there is no centrally enforced cultural identity. it takes some bits from all the other fashions on the continent, plus its own flare. this is not wholly appropriate in terms of climate, but one of my big inspirations for ogrench fashion is actually turkish fashion. don’t ask me why, it just felt right.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there are also elements of indigenous inspiration, esp from the first nations regalia.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ 🩰 … ONE. IF I WAS A RICH GIRL
Aikawa Chouka was born on March 14th, 1999 in Milan, Italy. And unlike most in her field, she was born into immense wealth and prestige. Her father, Aikawa Chujirō (also known as Michael Aikawa), is the current president and CEO of the Aikawa Group. Originally founded in 1969 as a technology conglomerate, the company sold its shares twenty years later for $20 billion, turning itself into a sprawling holdings company. Owning mostly luxury brands (including Versace), they also own multiple department stores in the United States such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy’s, and even Paramount. The Aikawa Group has been touted as the “Samsung of Japan,” and with a net worth of over $480 billion, the Aikawa family is the richest in the world.
Meanwhile, Chouka’s mother, Nakamura Aiko (also known as Liliane Aikawa) is an accomplished, London-born actress and designer, as the founder of luxury lifestyle brand Lily by Liliane, as well as a socialite, art dealer, and former model. Aiko was born into a family older and wealthier than her husband’s (or at least that would’ve been true in 1990), and is the only child of Nakamura Hiroaki, the president of the Nakamura Foods Company. Founded all the way back in 1909 (although the Nakamura family was rather high up in Japanese society generations prior), the food packing conglomerate is worth over $20 billion. Like her husband’s family, Aiko’s family also owns a department store, having acquired ownership of the Tokyu Department Store in 2009.
Obviously, Chouka grew up in the lap of luxury. Living in Milan for the first five years of her life, she attended a Japanese international school and learned her native language of Japanese, along with Italian and English. In 2004, Chouka and her family moved to Kyoto. And due to her family’s wealth, they would spend a lot of time moving.
During the summers of 2009 and 2010, they would live in three separate cities: Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris. Starting in 2011, they would live in Singapore for a year. And finally, in 2015, the Aikawa family would move for the final time to the wealthy and fashionable neighborhood of Azabu-Juban in Tokyo. Chouka completed her final two years of high school there, and was involved in quite a few extracurriculars. She was a cheerleader, a member of her school’s tennis team, and she served as editor-in-chief of its newspaper club. Chouka would move again in 2016, but without her parents this time. She spent that winter at a boarding school in Switzerland, like most rich girls of her caliber.
By then, Chouka was a seasoned ballet dancer. At the age of three, she was placed in classes by her mother at the request of Chouka’s grandmother. She attended two separate ballet academies at some point: the Dutch National Ballet Academy and the Paris Opera Ballet. For years, Chouka believed that she would become the world’s next prima, but the universe had different plans.
⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ 🩰 … TWO. DRESS TO IMPRESS
For the most part, Chouka’s childhood was normal. However, when you have a designer for a mother, you tend to get dragged to a whole lot of fashion shows. At the tender age of thirteen, she attended her first show for Dior. And it wasn’t just that, either. Chouka grew up watching her grandmother order couture from Paris and Milan, she would be gifted old pieces from her mother, and her father even gifted her Louis Vuitton for her tenth birthday. After that Dior show, however, Chouka’s entire world changed.
She became quite obsessed with fashion, and she would spend hours flipping through fashion magazines or rummaging through her mother’s closet. All the balls and launch parties and red carpet events that Chouka would attend with her family changed her outlook on fashion, and after she was scouted by a modeling agency at fifteen, her interest only grew. She attended Fashion Weeks in Tokyo and New York, and modeled for brands like Betsey Johnson.
Chouka kind of knew that her career as a model was temporary, though, and her “true calling” was a fashion designer or journalist (courtesy of her mother). With the rise of the beauty guru, Chouka’s interest in fashion blogs, and all the time she spent on Instagram, however, she decided that, instead, she would become social media famous.
In 2015, Chouka launched a blog of her own: Love Moda. This was unusual for her family, as like the real-life, Japanese rendition of the Young family from Crazy Rich Asians, they were notoriously private. They would sporadically appear in news articles, Aiko would give the occasional magazine interview solely for brand reasons or to promote a new project, and Chujirō mainly limited his media appearances to business publications. Obviously, though, Chouka had vastly different aspirations. Love Moda was mentioned in an editorial she did with Tatler, and that kind of exposure—plus the fact that she had money—made interest in her blog skyrocket. By 2016, it had amassed over 10,000 readers.
By the next year, Chouka had cemented herself as a somewhat of a “baby influencer.” Despite the invites to Paris fashion shows and the articles being written about her in Vogue, however, she was far from mainstream. Her small legion of fans wanted her to be, though. Chouka was asked to start a YouTube channel by one of them, and so on May 19th, 2017, she did.
Chouka was already a bit of a “micro-celebrity,” so by the summer, her sizable following had transferred to her new channel. Her YouTube gradually begin to grow larger than her blog as the beauty community gained traction themselves, and her status as the “Aikawa Group heiress” was definitely a selling point, alongside her feminine, “rich girl” fashion and peculiar accent. By the end of 2017, the brand deals were beginning to roll in, and everyone was gradually starting to know her name.
In early 2018, a particular video of Chouka’s suddenly went viral. What followed afterwards was the exact mainstream fame that she’d been looking for. She moved to Los Angeles from New York and was scoring ambassadorships with the likes of Kate Spade, Nina Ricci, and even Prada. She was getting invited to award shows, launch parties, and was a seasoned Fashion Week attendee at that point. And by 2019, Chouka blew up even further. She was named “fashion’s newest It girl,” she made her way into the acting industry, and it was pretty much impossible to escape her.
2018 was also a rather difficult year for her, though. At that point, Chouka had been a ballerina for sixteen years. But with her rising career online, she knew that she couldn’t pursue her lifelong dream of prima stardom without giving up her YouTube career.
Although ballet would always have a special place in her heart, her career aspirations had obviously changed. Even then, though, Chouka was still training, and she still wanted to attend another ballet academy. But balancing that and what clearly transformed from a hobby into her way of life was asking for too much. So that year, Chouka hung up her pointe shoes and bid goodbye to ballet. That decision was a difficult one, but it was probably for the best, as her career as an influencer has done more for her than a ballet career ever would. And there was still a whole lot more in store.
⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ 🩰 … THREE. ALL THE INFLUENCE IN THE WORLD
Within the next five years, Chouka would grow to become one of the best fashion influencers on the planet, with 11 million subscribers, over twenty brand deals, and countless successful business ventures to her name. Even with a billion dollar bank account, though, she—like most influencers nowadays—couldn’t help but branch into the music industry.
In late 2023, Chouka suddenly signed to Republic Records, unexpectedly promising her fans a music debut by the next year. And on April 5th, 2024, she fulfilled her promise. Debuting with the single “Girls Don’t Cry,” her debut was a smash hit. Surprisingly, it was received far better than the music of other influencers, nearly becoming a No. 1 hit and turning Chouka into an up and coming pop princess. Months later, she signed to Flowerbank Entertainment, which was definitely... a choice. Chouka was pretty much the only active artist under the label, but her debut was still fully-funded and massively successful. However, she only had two full comebacks afterwards, before she jumped ship herself. Immediately after her departure, Flowerbank was no more.
In October 2024, Chouka founded S.Berry Media, her very own entertainment company. As of now, she's the only artist underneath the label, but like everything she touches, it could quickly grow into something much bigger. But with complete control over her career and a vision like no other, Chouka's not leaving the industry anytime soon.

Do you have more Ginny headcanon ?
Do you have fifteen hours?
I'd say most of my headcanons are more like deductions from canon to be honest. You can find some of them in my one-shots. Anyway, I'll try to make a list of strictly Ginny headcanons.
her favourite colour is green (which between Harry's eyes and the Harpies is basically canon, it's like saying that red being Harry's favourite colour is a headcanon)
as we all know Ginny loves cats, but seeing that her family could never afford to buy her one, she always had in mind that with her first paycheck, she would buy her first cat, and she does
when she was little she wrote adventure stories about her and The Boy Who Lived
writing was a part of her healing process after the Chamber
in her second year, Dumbledore invited her many times to play chess and it was a subtle way to bring her to open up about the diary (this is technically not canon but it's way more canon complaint that Dumbledore did this than the idea that he didn't, both from the perspective of him being a good loving man despite it all, and the cynical perspective of him wanting to know more about Riddle)
I'm a strong supporter of the universally accepted headcanon of Ginny and Sirius having late-night chats at Grimmauld Place
Ginny jokingly promised Sirius that if she and Harry would've actually ended up together (like Sirius seemed to believe) she would've called her first boy after him
as the years go by, she and Rita Skeeter develop a sort of frenemies situation (this is actually something I've been thinking of writing about for a long time)
with tpfy @takearisk-ao3 made me fall in love with the idea that Smith would remain an annoying presence in her life
she was arrested at least once while Harry was already Head Auror, it was very embarrassing for the Aurors involved
McGonagall asked her to become Head Girl but she turned it down
she was the first woman to become sports editor for the Daily Prophet (for who doesn't know this: sports journalism is an exetremely sexist field)
I can't imagine Ginny as anything but the coolest of mothers
every young Quidditch player dreams of the stamp of approval from Ginny Potter, if she says a player is going to be great then that player is going to be great, she very much has the power of influencing the players' market with her opinions
in general, I imagine Ginny as eventually a very revolutionary, iconic, and borderline intimidating figure of sports journalism, someone people would aspire to work with and become like (a sort of way less workaholic and good version of Miranda Priestly)
obviously, she published books, but I totally see her publishing also novels and I think that Ginny specifically writing children's novels in her last years would be a very full circle moment seeing that she started the story in love with The Boy Who Lived
I'm kind of into the idea of Ginny eventually starting her own newspaper (with Albus, because I headcanon him as a journalist too)
she is extremely careful in making sure Lily Luna never thinks she can't do something because she is a girl and she makes sure James and Albus never shove her aside
she loves Harry's smile (this is kind of canon, to be honest, fourth book) and she absolutely adores the sound of his laugh
she rescues animals like it's her job, the Potter house is filled with rescues (Harry is always grumpy at first about it, more because he feels like someone should be the reasonable one but secretly it's just one of the many things he loves about her)
the animals obviously have the weirdest names
she kind of likes Slughorn, in the way you like a weird uncle you see once a year
she absolutely can cook, she is the only daughter of Molly Weasley, of course she can cook, she just doesn't like doing it most of the time
even after she stops playing she still keeps doing regular physical exercise
absolutely accidental fashion icon
Ginevra was the name of her half-Italian maternal grandmother who died of a broken heart after Gideon and Fabian's deaths
she passes on to her kids her arts and crafts love, but especially to Teddy
All is well is something she started saying to Harry after he had nightmares, eventually, Harry started doing it with her too, and it sort of became their mantra
she was a bit disturbed by the fact that she would never be able to know if James and Lily would have approved of her, she went alone to their graves the day before her wedding to talk with them
this is substantially canon, but according to JKR, when yew wands (like Ginny's) get buried with their owner, a yew tree is born from the grave and I adore that image (the tree protects Harry's grave too)
I'm pretty sure I could go on for an eternity but let's stop here.

In a recent Instagram video, Gwen opens her matte black front door to invite the cameras in. Behind her, we see tall white, gold, and blue wallpaper, long pieces of religious art, and a massive crystal chandelier. The space is maximalist and fun. It perfectly exemplifies an artful blend of antique and contemporary details in an entryway.
Interior designer Jove Meyer says this entryway is a classic example of the contemporary California maximalist design. He states that this type of design ‘works well as it encourages a more is more lens, more pattern, more art, more texture, and more layers, in fact, the more the merrier!’ He goes on to say: ‘The benefit of maximalism is that it allows for the space to be extra and encourages it to not be locked into one style, but a blend of many which makes the magic of maximalism come to life! With maximalist design, you can be initially overwhelmed visually but it is exciting as you're constantly discovering new details and designs as your eyes adjust to everything happening at once.’
Jennifer Ebert, deputy editor at Homes & Gardens loves that the maximalist style of this space allows Gwen Stefani to express herself and her interests. ‘The best aspect of the maximalist style is that it allows you to maximize the personality of the space. This type of design leaves room to include the most elements possible of your individual style’ Jennifer says. These elements of personal style are best embodied by the unique art pieces decorating the space.
Jove Meyer says: ‘The first place my eye goes, after the bold wallpaper and oversize chandelier, is the strong old religious art, followed by the modern image of a baby below. The juxtaposition of the art in this space is very notable. My eye doesn't know where to go right away as there is a lot happening in this maximalist entryway which blends old and new, contemporary patterns and ancient faith-based art.’

This beautiful vintage angel wall hanging is hand glazed, made of gilded polychrome terracotta. It originated in the Philadelphia Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, founded in 1905.

Editor-in-chief of Italian "Vogue", Franca Sozzani created this cutting-edge album as an accompaniment to the exhibition "A Noir", organized on the occasion of the Milan Trienniale in 1998. The theme "black" is the starting point for the presentation of a startling series of works by leading artists, fashion designers, photographers, architects and interior designers. From Louise Bourgeois to Damien Hirst, Rei Kawakubo to Rifat Ozbek, Mapplethorpe to Paolo Roversi, Andree Putman to Jean-Paul Goude, each featured artist reveals his or her personal interpretation of the color black, forming an anthology of images. The album includes a collection of essays and a glossary exploring the use and symbolism of black not only in art, photography and fashion, but also in literature, film and music.

Miranda Priestly, the formidable editor-in-chief of Runway, woke up feeling terrible. Her entire body ached, her throat was on fire, and her head was pounding. She knew instantly what it was – she had the flu.
But today was a special day. It was her first year anniversary with Andrea Sachs, her brilliant assistant turned girlfriend. They had planned a romantic evening together, and Miranda could not bear the thought of ruining it with her illness. She had to hide it from Andrea at all costs.
Miranda dragged herself out of bed and stumbled to her closet, determined to look her best for the occasion. She put on a black dress and her signature Chanel jacket, hoping that the outfit would distract Andrea from any signs of sickness.
As she made her way to the office, Miranda prayed that her illness would not impede her ability to lead the fashion world. But when she arrived, everything went downhill.
"Good morning, Miranda! Happy anniversary!" Andrea said, beaming with joy.
Miranda tried to hide her discomfort, but her voice betrayed her. "Good morning, Andrea. Thank you."
"Are you okay? You sound different," Andrea noticed.
"I'm perfectly fine, Andrea," Miranda said, clearing her throat. "Just a bit of dryness in the throat."
Andrea looked skeptical but decided not to dwell on it. "So, for tonight, I made reservations at that new Italian restaurant you love. And I also have a little surprise for you," Andrea said, handing Miranda a small box wrapped in a ribbon.
Miranda managed a smile, genuinely touched by Andrea's thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Andrea. I look forward to it."
But as the day went on, Miranda's flu symptoms worsened. She had to cancel a meeting because of a fever, and she was barely able to keep her eyes open during another. Andrea had noticed something was off.
"Miranda, I know something's not right. You can tell me," Andrea said, putting a hand on Miranda's forehead. "Oh, you're burning up! We need to get you home and into bed."
"I can't be sick, Andrea," Miranda said, feeling defeated. "Not tonight."
Andrea took control. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you. I'll make some soup and we'll watch your favorite movie on Netflix."
Miranda couldn't believe it. Andrea was taking care of her, just like she always did. "Thank you, Andrea," Miranda said, feeling grateful for the first time in a long time.
———————————————————————
As they settled in front of the TV, Miranda couldn't resist revealing her true feelings. "You know, Andrea, one year ago, I never would have believed that I could be this happy."
Andrea smiled, taking Miranda's hand. "I know, Miranda. But you deserve all the happiness in the world. And I'll always be here for you."
Miranda felt a tear roll down her cheek. She had always been the one with the upper hand in their relationship, but now she realized how much Andrea meant to her.
"Thank you, Andrea," Miranda said, closing her eyes. "Thank you for everything."
Andrea leaned in to kiss Miranda's forehead. "Happy anniversary, Miranda. I love you."
Miranda smiled, drifting off to sleep. "I love you too, Andrea."

Advantage Sinner
Wimbledon slowly adapts to zeitgeist as next-gen players are bending the rules.
Jannik Sinner, 21, is a handsome young Italian who is currently ranked eighth in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) ranking (as I‘m writing this). He is known to be one of the best next-generation tennis players that are shaping the sports future after the era of all-time greats Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovovic who has not lost one single game on the Centre Court of the legendary All England Lawn Tennis And Croquet Club for the past ten years.
Now, a lot has changed since 2013 although “The Championships” rule book is lenghty and rigid as ever: Players outfits must be 90% white, including shoe soles. And by white, Wimbledon means white - not off-white or creme or beige or vanilla or any of that. If you play Wimbledon you better look like a 12-year-old altar boy at his first mass.
Players who don’t comply are likely to be fined, like last year for example, when Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis bad boy was fined 10,000 USD after wearing a red Nike hat during the trophy ceremony after the final, which he lost … against Novak Djokovic of course. So yeah, rules are rules at Wimbledon.
Nevertheless, Wimbledon organizers have shown some flexibility. In late 2022 the tournament announced that women who are concerned with their period will be allowed to play wearing dark undershorts. Finally, some common sense in the UK, one may think.
But back to Jannik Sinner: The Italian youngster signed with Gucci last year becoming the new ambassador for the Kering brand. Sinner hasn’t been heavily pushing fashion boundaries before, neither on nor off the court. But Gucci, presumably hoping to create a buzz among financially stable tennis-aficionados, really hit the sweet spot with Sinner as he walked out on his first Centre Court match shouldering a leather-trimmed canvas duffel bag covered in Gucci’s GG monogram looking like he’s been doing this for ages.
Rising eyebrows and hushes in the stands. Did Sinner just violate the all-white rule for … a Gucci bag?
No, Sir. Gucci marketeers signed special agreements with the world tennis governing body ITF, the ATP and Wimbledon organizers, ensuring their shiny new ambassador will face no fines but a strategically clever orchestrated buzz on social media within the tennis bubble and maybe beyond.
Breaking the rules — the Italian way. 🤌🏼

Morwenna Ferrier, the Guardian’s fashion and lifestyle editor wrote a piece about how Jannik Sinner and fellow young tennis talents are creating their unique off-court personas through high-value brand partnerships as professional tennis enters the post-Federer-and-Nadal era.

Practical, loyal, strong sense of duty, community-oriented | selfless, needy, vulnerable to criticism.
Backstory: CW: War, guns, death, blood.
Dominicus was the first grandchild of a large Italian family. Being the first and eldest, he was raised to develop a strong sense of duty and responsibility toward every family member, especially his younger cousins and sister. Whenever a family issue arose, since a young age, Dominicus had to give in his input. This, far from becoming a tedious task for a young child, became a second skin for him.
He was 14 when his Nonno passed away, and Dominicus' involvement with his family grew stronger. His Nonna raised him to endure and nurture, leading by example.
He decided journalism was his career path and studied for it at one of the best Italian universities. Eventually, he earned the opportunity to practice professionally abroad in Morocco with the British government.
He and 4 others across the globe were selected to cover the war between Morocco and the UK. However, soon enough, they learned that their task wasn't to tell the truth, but tergiversate it. The British government was at fault, and Morocco was defending itself. However, if they dared to divulge this information, they'd face several punishments and tortures of all kinds...
Despite how terrible everything was, Dominicus remained stoic. He had found the strength to deal with the traumatic experience by becoming the anchor of another student, Alois, with whom he shared a room. Whenever Alois cried, panicked, or got stomach sick, Dominicus was there. He'd even write for Alois when he was paralyzed with fear or disgust; when Dominicus didn't, he'd read Alois' articles to ensure he didn't unveil the truth by accident and get a punishment.
Alois found love, against all odds, with a South African girl named Julia, who specialized in photography. She was strong-headed and strong-willed. Unfortunately, through her, they all learned that their punishments could go as far as getting killed. She rebelled and spoke against their duties.
Dominicus, Alois, and the other students were kneeling and hand-tied while Julia and two soldiers gunpointing her were before them. Dominicus knew what was about to happen and mentally begged Alois not to look at the scene. Dominicus heard the gunshot and saw the blood splattering all over Alois, who froze and cried.
They were all left with Julia's body. The other students left as soon as the gun was off their heads, but Dominicus remained by a torn Alois, who held onto Julia's body as if his hug alone could bring her back to life. He stayed with Alois until it got dark, and it was he who had to tell Alois that they had to bury her. Alois objected and shouted and sobbed and held Julia's body tighter. Dominicus had to rip her off Alois' arms, and he bore every insult and every punch.
Dominicus buried Julia that night, bathed Alois, and let him sleep on his bed when exhaustion won over him. Since that day, they've been inseparable.
However, he had to return to Italy, and Alois had to return to Germany, but their separation was brief. Alois founded a crime magazine and wanted Dominicus to be his editor, but Dominicus quit journalism. Nevertheless, he still moved to Germany, working as a manager.
He hates everything about Germany but is better by Alois' side than he could ever be in Italy. He still visits his family quite frequently, but no one is as close to him anymore, only Alois. Alois is his best friend, undoubtedly, and they live in the same house.
