I think it's likely he'd be on the more awkward side, he's anything but athletic. The again, he managed to adjust to wearing high heels and I like to think he's become remarkably surefooted and graceful with them (to the point he feels a bit out of sorts without them), so it's not like he has no sense of balance or proprioception whatsoever. If he really wanted to skate well he would be able to learn.

Hubris Thy Name is Relatable

If the gods are "just like everyone else", why do folks keep getting punished for presuming to stand on equal grounds with them? The divide between divinity and mortals was not placed there by the mortals.

Thinking that the average overpowered mortal is on the same level as a god is exactly the thought process that brought the great wizard cities to their knees. The gods will prove you wrong and swiftly.

Like remember when Laeryn was like, "the only thing dividing us from the gods is that they have a different zip code" and the general reaction was, "your hubris machine madame". To turn around now and say, that in Exandria, "it would be very easy to mistake a 20th level adventurer with a god" - is not true. the gods will tell you this themselves.

sure, dnd as a medium for storytelling is doubling as a power fantasy so the players can achieve godhood if their dm wants that for them. but thats not the story matt is telling. matt is very much telling - there are gods and they are So Much Bigger Than You.

To ask, "well how much power makes a god" - easiest way to find out? challenge a god.

the mortals are inherently barred from touching divinity. ergo divinity is not like mortals. youre not gonna ask the wildmother for a cup of sugar, youre not gonna knock on the arch heart's door to sell him girl scout cookies. ludinus is an OP motherfucker, keyleth is an OP motherfucker. but defeating them does not make a godslayer. because as far as this world is concerned, gods cannot be slayed.

As an aside: this has nothing to do with what should or should not be done with the gods, if the gods are even a problem to be solved, if theres a a better way to exist with divinity - this is not that post. this is a post about how divinity has so far defined themselves.

the concept of city of rights here in the netherlands will never not be funny to me. you're only allowed to call your village a city if you have city rights. how do you get city rights? well you had to get them back in the middle ages when they were still available. obviously. it's way too late now and there's no way to get them anymore. as a result this means towns with 30 inhabitants are formally counted as cities while cities with over 196.000 inhabitants are formally counted as villages. phenomenal system
