the state of juwon and kwon hyuk's relationship is so fascinating to me. flesh & blood son vs. son-my-father-wishes-he-had. that strange awkward and sometimes sad tension between them. a lot of it is a difference in backgrounds: juwon doesn't fully understand kwon hyuk's attachment to han kihwan nor kwon hyuk's willingness to serve and kiss up to someone like that, while kwon hyuk finds it difficult to fathom juwon's rebellion/resistance toward his father, who is an extremely powerful sponsor to have and represents to kwon hyuk a path to success, a way out of the implied desperation and poverty of his background.

they both like each other more than they realize and more than they'd want to admit. kwon hyuk has known juwon for a decade without Knowing him. they're both occupying several roles in each other's lives at once, all of them intersecting with each other, and the overlaps make it very awkward. kwon hyuk is juwon's brother figure and his former tutor and the middleman between him and his father and the fabled "kid your parents won't stop comparing you to" and also like, his colleague. a family friend. he's the only person juwon hangs out with, and their idea of "hanging out" is mostly just sitting parallel to each other in the private section of some gorgeous uppity seoul bar while kwon hyuk badgers juwon about friends and dating and, you know, pleasing his father.

kwon hyuk's approach to being a good hyung to juwon is also very funny. he's pretty serious about it. there's very obviously a part of him that wants to knock some sense into this elite rich prettyboy's head so that he doesn't get himself stuck in places kwon hyuk can't dig him back out of, but also this is made ineffective by the fact that his methods often rely on (unintentionally) condescending juwon, such as at the beginning of episode 10. which, like, he wasn't even wrong. juwon was absolutely not equipped to be facing lee dongsik.

the problem with his approach is that he's going by the older-sibling-who-is-better-than-you manual, half-chiding and half-lecturing, because he is not just juwon's hyung but also han kihwan's perfect little helper, the son figure he turns to, especially when his actual son disappoints him, which results in kwon hyuk feeling even more threatened by the need to be flawless and Unlike Juwon. due to their awkward inexplicable positions in each other's lives, juwon is wary of him for so long because he interprets the attention kwon hyuk gives him as an extension of kwon hyuk's supposed lifelong gratitude toward han kihwan. he's dissuaded by kwon hyuk's proximity to han kihwan. their relationship is burdened by the presence of juwon's father crowding out the potential space for closeness between them, which is, among other smaller reasons, the main reason why they can't grow any closer to each other. it quite literally takes the whole show and life-altering discoveries for juwon to finally open up enough that he becomes willing to reach out to kwon hyuk, not because he's 100% certain that kwon hyuk even likes him that much but because he's finally accepted the fact that, fine, he does care about this annoying snooty hyung of his, and cares enough that he doesn't want kwon hyuk to be caught in the crossfire.

and kwon hyuk does meet him halfway when he reaches out! juwon is rewarded by the narrative for letting himself be more honest and vulnerable with kwon hyuk than he's ever dared to be, and this time kwon hyuk considers his words and listens to him instead of treating him like a baby who doesn't know anything. it's sooo important to me that they're able to grow closer once han kihwan is out of the picture. it's so so important to me that juwon has people in his life who are not lee dongsik nor the rest of the manyang squad. i think post-canon both of them catch up sometimes when juwon's in seoul and it's—easier. better. feels realer.

We don't know much about Julie's inner psyche compared to some of the other characters, but we do know that she's outwardly always happy, always cheerful, always eager for a game or a smile. Being so fun-loving and not being able to crack a joke sounds like something that could cause Julie distress. She looks up to Barnaby and wants to be as funny as he is, but she's so engulfed in trying to surround herself in happy things, in the role she plays alongside Frank, that she can't admit that there's a problem, that there's something wrong in her life.

More about Barnaby's perspective is found in the Homewarming record- he's surprisingly perceptive, and there's an introspective, analytical part of his personality where he's able to take in people's emotions and level them against a logical standard. He may be brusque, blunt, teasing, but that's his way of caring. He knows, logically, that Julie can't make others laugh to save her life. He knows, logically, that Frank may not be the best match for her. And he knows, logically, that he wants to help Julie learn how to tell jokes- to help her.

Plus, jokes are literal currency- at least in Howdy's bodega. My theory is that Julie uses Eddie's post office for anything she may need instead by getting it sent in; in the "listen" audios, she recieves quite a few packages, and we never see her inside Howdy's store or interacting with him directly (as far as I remember). In a world that literally favors the funny, being unfunny is an actual disadvantage.

Whether it's puppy love or a friendly appreciation, Barnaby clearly likes Julie. And though he pisses her off, Julie enjoys his company too.

That brings us to Julie's winter hibernation, and the sentence used here in this news post. Julie's very connected to flowers, so the image of a flower needing strong roots to bloom in the spring is most likely related to her somehow. The Bug-a-Bye record can be interpreted as Frank mourning Julie's absence during winter, so we'd expect him to be the one to tuck her in, as it were, for her big sleep, so why is Barnaby mentioned?

Well, when Eddie dissociates during the Homewarming party, it's when he's forgone his role as the mailman and let others do his deliveries for him. He relaxes, and in that moment he doesn't have any ties to the Neighborhood- unrooting, so to speak, becoming aware that there's more to the soil than his roots could previously comprehend.

Sleep is similar to disocciation, but the subconscious mind is far more aware of the world during dissociation, whereas during sleep dreams can be difficult to discern from reality if you aren't lucid. Hibernation is a deep version of sleep, body and mind slowing down as much as it can to preserve function.

The health and life cycle of flowers in the Neighborhood are connected to Julie. If she entered hibernation and something happened to the flowers while she was asleep, she'd either have no way of knowing, or be too weak to do anything about it. Yet, if the roots are strong, a plant will live. It's much the same with a puppet.

Barnaby doesn't know too much about flowers, but he knows about dirt. About soil. About perception. And because he's a dog by nature, he damn well knows how to dig. In my head, I can't imagine he would feel comfortable if any of his neighbors were in danger, much less one who can't speak for herself.

The fact that Barnaby taught Wally the "Beautiful Dreamer" song, a song sung to a possibly dead lover- and knowing that Julie is about to enter / has entered a deep sleep at the end of the latest update- strikes me as eerie. I may be off the mark here, since Wally is pictured with dreamy imagery in the "Remderem" commercial as well, but I can't ignore it.

So uh, yeah, Julaby brOTP for life. Yeah.

It’s really funny when you think of season 4 basically being a tragicomedy where two fruity disasters are engaged in a dance of who can miscommunicate the most. They both are actually on the same page with a desire to go crazy together and be a team but they assume the other boy is reading an entirely different book. Mike goes to Cali frazzled with a million chaotic thoughts, his confusion and flustered heart barely concealed by his Big Bird core outfit.

I have a girlfriend and I’m supposed to love her. Of course I love her, she’s my girlfriend! She’s El! She has superpowers! She’s changed my life! Yes, stick to the script! I can’t wait to meet her friends she’s been telling me about and also to meet Will 😍. Wait, why did I just get flustered? It’s just Will. My friend. Will Byers. WHO HAS APPARENTLY BEEN MAKING A PAINTING FOR A MYSTERIOUS GIRL?!? I wonder what that’s about. Actually I don’t wanna know. It’s fine. Oh my God, he got hot. Why did he get hot? Wait, don’t think that. That’s weird. He’s a boy. He’s Will. Act calm. Be normal. Uhhh. hi 😍 😍😍 Wait, why isn’t he showing me that? Does he hate me? Of course he does. Why wouldn’t he?

Meanwhile Will, with no idea about Mike’s internal monologue, is extremely eager and happy to see his best friend again and is utterly confused why he is being so weird and not hugging him and why his outfit is so questionable. I guess he doesn’t care about anything I have to say anymore. I’m so stupid. Why did I make this painting and bring it to this airport like a loser? He doesn’t want to see it. Which is literally the opposite of the truth. And then things start happening too fast to process anything, and everyone’s talking fast, and El is flagrantly lying to Mike and it’s quite disturbing. Why would she do that? Friends don’t lie. This can’t end well.

And then at the roller rink Will is in tragic yearning mode while also keenly aware that a fire is brewing and wanting to put out the fire before it hurts both his sister and his best friend, both of whom he loves dearly. But Mike is oblivious to all of this while in his feelings about Will, paying absurdly close attention to Will “moping and rolling his eyes,” interpreting things in the wrong way. And then he shoots up like a gopher on adderall when Will tells him they need to talk about El because something is terribly wrong- which would be crystal clear if Mike wasn’t hyperfocused on Will’s every mood swing- and he refuses to believe it until it becomes undeniable, choosing instead to address what is clearly on his mind significantly more than his actual girlfriend on a theoretical date. And they have a high school musical coded fight in the middle of the building, entirely misunderstanding where the other boy is coming from, and it just leaves them more flustered, frustrated, and confused. But because they are incapable of personal space, it doesn’t make them drift apart physically. They stand side by side as El absolutely decks Angela to Will’s shellshocked sinking feeling of “This is my fault. I should have prevented this from happening,” and Mike’s feeling of horror and shock and, “Where did any of this come from? I just got here.”

And then later on El and Mike have their fight about him not being able to say I love you, which is confusing and full of gaslighting and contradictions and is super messy no matter how the cake is sliced, but Will is not there for any of this, so he has no reason to believe El and Mike are on the rocks. Because why would they be? He heard Mike say I love you to a room full of their friends a year ago. And Mike is clearly dealing with so many internal thoughts and conflicted feelings that he won’t share with the class- with the class being both Will and the audience- so post el’s arrest and post her “superhero” journey we have to watch Byler have these incredibly coded conversations that get increasingly more chaotic. Mike’s basically like, “Yeah bestie I’m not sure about this whole macaroni and cheese thing and I don’t know if me and El are really right for each other, you know? It was prolly like dumb luck or something, but you’re the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, Will, and I think we should work together as a team, as best friends, as lovers- wait, who said that? Anyway, what do you think, my totally platonic bestie?”

All this as [tender, emotional music] plays. And Will, even though it destroys him inside, is extraordinarily selfless, and is basically like, “I’m sure you and El will work things out and talk through whatever’s happening. You love each other. You are perfect for each other. And I will always be here to reassure you.” And Mike’s like, “That’s not how I envisioned this convo going. Are you sure?” And while holding back tears, Will’s like, “Of course I’m sure! Why wouldn’t I be sure? Look at this painting I made you.” And Mike’s like “Wow 😍😍😍 did you make that for me?” And Will’s like, “Sure did! Actually El basically did. She commissioned it.” And Mike is like, “Oh. Okay. It’s still really beautiful tho. Which of course it is. Because you made it. But I… I’m confused. But I don’t fully understand why I’m confused. I’m glad El needs me! I think?”

Meanwhile, Byler literally wants the same things, they both deeply desire and love each other, but they don’t know how the other feels. And if they both paused for one second, were fully honest with each other, and stopped speaking in code, things would fall into place. And they could walk hand in hand, crazy together, into the apocalypse.

oh boy this is a loaded question 😂 i am purely a watcher of the show, i have not read the books — and honestly, jenny han has literally said that the show is how she would write the story today vs over ten years ago when the books came out, so take with that what you will (also here's jelly vs bonrad)

i want to start this off by just saying i don't HATE jeremiah (i know i say that i do a lot but that's mostly just me being funny and i won't apologize for that 💅🏼) and while i honestly don't like him right now, i don't think he's a bad person and lbr all of these characters could benefit from some self-improvement via therapy. i'm also going to refrain from labeling any characters/relationships as "toxic" or "abusive" because frankly i think people (usually tiktok girlies that are clearly chronically online) overuse and misuse the term so that it's lost all meaning, and i'm not a psychiatrist 🤷🏻‍♀️ this is simply my interpretation and analysis of a tv show that i enjoy watching

if you love jeremiah, all power to ya!! i'm not going to tell you that you need "professional help" or to "reevaluate yourself" (like some people love to tell random strangers on the internet). these are fictional characters — they are quite literally not real and if you like some, cool. if you don't like some, cool. if you disagree with my interpretations, cool!! i genuinely do not care as long as you mind your business and stay in your lane

i'm going to say right off the bat that the biggest reason i prefer conrad is simply that i gravitate towards that kind of character, i don't know why but it's just a common theme among my faves

going into season two, i was/am team conrad but i honestly loved jeremiah!! that quickly changed and honestly when i rewatched season one, i saw the same behaviors and didn't like him as much. also, none of my criticism of jeremiah is meant to say that conrad is perfect and has never done anything wrong (even though he IS perfect and has NEVER done anything wrong 😜)

most of the issues i have with jeremiah all come back to one thing: his feelings of inadequacy and jealousy when it comes to conrad

manipulative: when he sees belly and conrad about to kiss, he sabotages it with the fireworks, then tries to play it off as an accident and like he didn't see them when conrad mentions it. at this point, he knows that belly has always had a crush on conrad but now he knows to a degree that it's reciprocated. he then proceeds to go out of his way to sabotage them, like when he goes to nicole and gets her to invite conrad to that music festival (which, also not cool to play nicole like that), though i will admit that conrad self-sabotaging ruining things with belly had nothing to do with jeremiah

guilt-tripping: this sort of goes hand-in-hand with being manipulative. on MULTIPLE occasions, he purposefully makes belly feel uncomfortable and guilty for simply being happy with conrad. some examples:

thanksgiving — she drops conrad's hand after jere stares at them from across the table, they separate and she intentionally steps away from conrad when jere walks into the room, he tells conrad to "warn him" when belly is literally just going to be there

road trip to brown — he is passive aggressive in the car ("we don't talk about you"), he gives her the biggest eye roll/side-eye when trusky mentions conrad being depressed over the break up, he makes her feel terrible about "not being there for him" even though he was literally the one ignoring her when she said she had been reaching out multiple times. i understand that they are best friends and he was also struggling, there's no doubt about that, but she is ONE PERSON (who is also struggling, mind you) and OF COURSE she is going to be there for her BOYFRIEND

everything since then — multiple times throughout the rest of the season, he gives belly dirty looks any time she merely breathes in the direction of conrad, he interrupts them anytime they're talking (like in the party store) with a nasty look/tone, he goes to belly after her fight with laurel to be "supportive" and then shuts her down when she tries to talk about her feelings simply because she brings up conrad (which was very relevant to the conversation so like??), he gives belly a dirty look when conrad GIVES HER A SWEATSHIRT BECAUSE SHE WAS CHILLY. she is immediately uncomfortable and self-conscious of her actions every single time, even when SHE'S NOT EVEN DATING CONRAD ANYMORE and none of the interactions were explicitly "romantic"

playing the victim: again, goes hand-in-hand with my previous points. not only did he know that belly has always had a crush on conrad, but he literally watched them almost kiss. then the next night, he tells belly he likes her and they kiss. then when she later tells him that she kissed conrad, he acts like he had no idea that she liked conrad and was completely deceived (this is not me saying that belly didn't do him dirty — she did!! and i DO truly feel bad for him, but they weren't dating and he knew full well that she was rejected by conrad immediately before they proceeded to get together) and throws the fact that his "mom has cancer" in her face to make her feel like a bad person. i get that he was upset, rightfully so, but that was still messed up. conrad also did NOTHING WRONG here!! he had no idea that jeremiah liked belly or that they kissed when he kissed her, was not angry when belly told him about kissing jere, asked her who she wanted to be with, and then respected her decision to not date in order to spare jere's feelings. jeremiah acting all pissy towards conrad was not deserved. i understand him being annoyed when conrad asked him for his blessing, but if he truly cared about them, he would want them to be happy together instead of spending the next few months pouting and ignoring them

jealousy: all of this comes back to the fact that he is extremely jealous of conrad. having an older sister, i get it — i sympathize with always being compared, feeling like they're better at everything, and trying to live up to that. he feels like conrad is better at everything and is everyone's first choice (which... he is 😬) but like... that's a YOU problem. conrad didn't do anything to him!!

the conrad of it all: he constantly talks shit about conrad and doesn't even try to understand where he's coming from, which i understand to an extent because he is justifiably hurt, but calling conrad the selfish one is literally LAUGHABLE. even though he may have been misguided, everything conrad did was to try to protect jeremiah from pain. he has had an immense amount of pressure put on him by his father (and others) to be the perfect one that is always looking out for and protecting the younger ones. he suffered in silence for months after finding out about susannah's cancer/adam cheating, both to give susannah the last perfect summer she wanted and to protect jere from everything. same thing with the house — he thought that he could handle it by himself and that it would be protecting the rest of them to do it by himself. he had to deal with all of the guilt of not being able to be there for susannah as much as he wanted because of college, and he literally had a panic attack at the thought of leaving jeremiah to go to stanford. jeremiah constantly bringing up that belly and conrad broke up (when it's none of his damn business and he even admitted he didn't know what happened between them) ESPECIALLY in regard to conrad not being around when susannah was sick because HE WAS AT SCHOOL and "always with belly" is so fucked up. everyone was struggling and doing their best, including jeremiah, and that was just not cool. belly's actions ("not being there for jeremiah") are not conrad's fault.

because of his jealousy towards literally every single thing conrad says or does, he doesn't care that belly makes conrad happy (and vice versa), he gives absolutely zero consideration to conrad's feelings when deciding to go after belly (also neither does belly but that's a whole other post). conrad has now apologized to both belly and jeremiah on multiple occasions and started doing some serious self-reflection. jeremiah has not apologized ONCE for the shit he’s said and done.

i have said it before and i stand by it: conrad wants belly to be happy while jeremiah only wants belly to be happy if it's with him

(and no, his conversation with conrad in the finale doesn't change my mind because i simply didn't believe him)

IN CONCLUSION, people are entitled to their wrong opinions but conrad fisher remains superior now and forever and he deserves so much better and no i don't take questions or criticism because i'm right

Jikookers really started being as nasty to V as tkkers were to Jimin. Not everything V does has hidden evil intentions to “break up” jikook(like they are together). There is nothing wrong with him mentioning Jk, it’s such a no problem, but of course people who take shipping seriously would have a problem with it.

It's funny you should bring that up now, because it's been a little over a year since I first started using this blog so much, and ironically, it all started November 2021 because taekook had a moment and jikookers were upset about it lmao. It was that time in ITS2 when Taehyung asked JK to cook for him, and a very well known jikook blogger made a post, unprovoked literally unprovoked about how it was an awkward moment and it was uncomfortable to watch and JK was not okay with the whole thing. I replied to her post saying taekook were not awkward during that exchange, and some people apparently interpreted "taekook weren't awkward" as "taekook fuck raw". So they lashed out on me LMAOO.

The posts are all still up, but I'll just post some screenshots so I don't have to add so many links to this. It's just really funny how things (jikookers) have gotten so much more ridiculous since a year ago.

I guess for me what I really hate is the double standards. I've never tried to act like I'm better than anyone else or even that jikook is better than any other option, and as I've said before, I judge taekook by the same standards I judge jikook. It's not like, just as an example, I would think a neck kiss is romantic because jikook do it and then turn around and think it doesn't mean anything if taekook do it. No, to me it does mean something in both cases.

Other thing I also hate, and it's probably what bothers me the most is that taekookers have been hating on Jimin for YEARS, and whatever jikookers say about Taehyung, they say it only because of jikook. It was never about Jimin. If you take out Jimin hate, if it suddenly stops, will there be any jikook hate at all? Hardly. Even if the Jimin hate has been going on for years, jikookers only started fighting 2021ish because taekook were besties again and jikook is not in the picture anymore.

Jimin gets called a thirdwheel and all jikook warriors get their screenshots ready and tweet jikook boyfriends 39058904 times. Taekookers have been saying Jimin was hooking up with escorts in Paris in 2019 and jikookers do not care but suddenly saying he was a thirdwheel is a major offense.

just like any other autist, i hate it when people are wrong about my special interest. my special interest is mdzs and as a piece of literature there is no "right" or "wrong" when it comes to analysis and characterisations, however, sometimes people will misunderstand some things. so! to clear things up here's why wwx and lwj hold back their holdings even after literally having sex with each other!

1- wwx

a lot of being talk about wei wuxian being oblivious to lan wangji's feelings and, at first, i agreed with that statement. it's funny and ironic to think that the smartest man in the entire cultivation world doesn't realise when he's in love with someone who loves him back... but now i think otherwise. you see, i think wwx realises his feelings somewhere after they rescue the juniors with wen ning and during their trip around yunmeng. if i were to suggest a specific scene, it would notably be when they are travelling to yunmeng by boat and wwx spends the journey in lwj's lap and if i were to suggest a specific line it would probably be: "Lan Zhan, he really... If only I knew, I wouldn’t have woken up. If I remained unconscious, I’d be able to lie in his arms for the entire journey!" from chapter 84. now, i'm aware this scene can be interpreted in other ways but wwx is undeniably aware of his romantic feelings for wwx during the scene where wwx falls from the tree and lwj catches him ("A voice inside of him said, If he catches me, I'll..." - chapter 87).

so if wwx was aware of his romantic feelings for lwj, why did wwx react the way he did after their time in bed together? obviously, one answer is the fear of rejection/fear of changing things between them ("Originally, Wei WuXian thought that compared to having his feelings be found out and them become so awkward they couldn’t even be friends, he’d much rather have Lan WangJi feel that he was a cheap, flippant person instead." - chapter 96) but does really wwx believe his own excuses of "it's normal for men to be like this sometimes"? wwx is a romantic at heart so probably not. i honestly believe somewhere deep down wwx had a slight inclination that, yes lwj likes me too. after all, wwx was prepared to confess his true romantic feelings to lwj afterwards ("In these two lives, you’ve helped me a lot. I know you’re... really nice to me. You’re really great! Apart from thank you, I don’t know what else to say to you... Anyways, towards you, I feel... I feel..." - chapter 95) and no one would really confess unless they thought they stood a chance, right? you could argue that wwx was just feeling the heat of the moment and wasn't thinking clearly etc. but if we go with he thought lwj liked him back then this gives way to another layer of his character. because all of the people who have ever loved wei wuxian unconditionally have died (his shijie, wen qing, his parents etc.) and most of them have died by his own hands (or he is blamed for their deaths and 100% blames himself too) so wwx doesn't believe he is worthy of love. and with growing up with the jiangs, i don't blame him. so wwx isn't quick to believe lwj's feelings because he doesn't think they're real from this mindset that he doesn't think he deserves it.

2- lwj

lwj is a different story.

one of the most obvious reasons why lwj reacts the way he does is because he thinks wwx is teasing him again, or doing smth to annoy him or he believes wwx's excuses of "it's normal for men to be like this".

another obvious explanation is that lwj has already confessed his love before in the past and got rejected in quite possibly the worse way ever. getting told to get lost after bearing your heart to your beloved will be painful for anyone, sure, but for lwj? someone who held his feelings in for so long? someone who's often told is emotionless and rarely shows his emotions? yeah, that's going to take a toll. a toll so big in fact, it seems very fair why he would keep his feelings to himself. also it's important to note that lwj doesn't know that wwx doesn't remember in confession after the bu ye tian massacre/blood bath at bu ye tian so he most likely thinks wwx wants to forget it didn't happen to avoid awkwardness after such a clear rejection.

another explanation could be because: he was reacting positively and showing his feelings, he just wasn't saying them through words. usually, lwj doesn't like people touch him but here he is lying on top of wwx, naked after sex and letting wwx peck his head. that, in lwj's mind, is more than enough approval and a confession of their feelings. lwj is known to use his words sparingly and only when he must, surely this moment doesn't need a verbal confirmation when his actions are enough?

and another explanation could also be that lwj doesn't want to be like his father: he doesn't want to force his feelings on someone who isn't willing to accept them. he has no right to show his affections or confess his love to someone who just wants to tease him, annoy him or use him for some relief.

y/n l/n was a very well-known name, he was known as one of the best warriors in Natlan. y/n was also known for being very serious and reserved, some rumored that he only knew two things: war and bluntness. However, most didn’t know that it could all disappear in an instant if you put him next to Neuvillette.

Speaking of Neuvillette, y/n is currently freaking out since he found out he has to go to Fontaine and meet with some people. If it wasn’t obvious, one of those people is neuvillette, who he may or may not be dating. Why would y/n be freaking out if he was already in a relationship with Neuvillette? Because y/n doesn’t understand how to show his love for Neuvillette. How do you explain to someone that you love them so much you would blow up the world for them?

Now thinking about it, y/n hasn’t seen Neuvillette for a while. They send letters at least once a week, but it’s hard with their busy schedules along with living so far apart. “How does that sound to you, y/n?” Someone spoke, breaking him out of spacing out, “Ah, yes, I shall be on my way to Fontaine in the next day.”

That day surprisingly went by fast, which made a rare feeling arise in y/n, anxiety. Now, anxiety was common for most people, but y/n rarely if ever felt it. He was a dragon and one of the strongest warriors in his nation, why would he need to be anxious about something? Was it because he was about to see his boyfriend (mate?), who he was dangerously in love with and would quite literally get on his knees and bark for him if he asked? No, of course not!

Sometimes, y/n forgot how long of a journey it was to Fontaine, especially when carrying things with him. Maybe this time, he could just leave the stuff at Neuvillette's place, just the thought of that made him feel all giddy. Soon enough, y/n saw the elegant nation of hydro.

y/n was greeted by a couple of the civilians as he walked through the city. Most kept their distance from him, which wasn’t surprising, he wasn’t from Fontaine (obviously), plus he’s a huge man who looked like he would snap anyone’s neck if they looked at him funny. y/n didn’t want to attract any more attention that wasn’t necessary so he hurried to Palais Mermonia.

Once y/n arrived, he made his way to Neuvillette's office, ignoring the looks he was getting. y/n felt like his heart was going to burst out of his chest the closer he got to Neuvillette's office. y/n was a bit embarrassed that he was feeling like a schoolgirl about to confess to her crush. People around him could probably see him blushing (all they see is y/n with an intimidating face approaching Neuvillette's office).

knock knock. y/n waited patiently for Neuvillette to allow him to come into his office. y/n wondered if anyone told Neuvillette that he was coming today, but before he could overthink anymore a voice interrupted his thoughts. “Come in.” Hearing Neuvillette's voice made his heartbeat pick up even faster like he was going to puke (in a good way).

y/n opened the door, “Sorry for the sudden appearance.” y/n said as he stepped inside Neuvillette's office. Before he could say anything else, y/n saw how good Neuvillette looked right now. All y/n could do was stare, “It’s fine, I was wondering when the next time you’d show up would be. Take a seat, let’s discuss some things.” As Neuvillette talked, y/n said nothing, he didn’t trust himself to not become a flustered mess. “y/n, are you listening?”

y/n expressed his love in a different but similar way than Neuvillette did. Neuvillette called y/n nicknames (when it was appropriate; not at work settings), holding his hand, smiling at him, subtle things. While y/n did things like doing whatever Neuvillette asked, helping him out with chores, and spending time with him. Speaking of spending time with Neuvillette, both males were currently at Neuvillette's desk.

y/n was sitting next to Neuvillette, trying his hardest to not think about how perfect Neuvillette was. “Would you like to go to a restaurant nearby later?” Neuvillette asked when he noticed it was starting to get late. y/n felt his body heat up, “I suppose,-only if you want to though.” y/n stuttered out, his hands going to his lap when he felt them start to get hot.

“You’re so easy to fluster, y/n. I wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t want to,” Neuvillette chuckled while looking back at his paperwork. “I’m about to be done with this. Why don’t you tell me about what’s been going on in Natlan? I heard something is brewing up.” Neuvillette asked with a slight hum. “Why are you always thinking of work? Do you not like me enough to ask about something else? Am I not interesting enough?” y/n asked with furrowed eyebrows and a pout on his face. y/n wasn’t necessarily upset or anything but it did frustrate him a bit that one of the first things his boyfriend asked was about work.

Neuvillette looked at y/n, a blank look on his face. Before y/n could question the look, Neuvillette's hand came up and cupped his face, “You’re so cute. I was just wanting to make small talk for now. You’re the most interesting man I’ve met, y/n, there’s no need to get worried.” Neuvillette said honestly, looking at y/n with a soft smile and giving him a peck on his lips.

y/n felt his whole body heat up as he started to blush, “You can’t just-“ y/n tried to say but the realization of Neuvillette kissing him made y/n cover his face. Neuvillette apologized, hiding an amused tone, “My apologies, I didn’t mean to fluster you,” after a moment, Neuvillette spoke up again, “You’re going to burn my chair if you don’t calm down, love,” Neuvillette stated while cleaning up his desk before they went on the date.

The entire date was the both of them being flirty to each other (which definitely didn’t look like an old married couple flirting with each other). “When things clear up, you should come to Natlan. There’s this restaurant I think you’ll like.” y/n suggested as he continued to eat his food. Every now and then, y/n would look up to stare at Neuvillette, feeling like a love-struck teenager.

As they finished eating and walked out of the restaurant (yes the meal got paid for), Neuvillette held y/n hand, walking towards his house. “How long are you staying for?” Neuvillette asked in a calm tone, taking glances at his boyfriend. “I have to leave Monday, around 8 am.” y/n answered, looking around the city. “Fontaine is beautiful.” y/n muttered. Even if it wasn’t his first time in the nation, it always made him amazed every time he came.

The couple mostly kept silent as they walked, feeling comfort in each other presence. “I love you,” y/n said suddenly in a soft tone which made Neuvillette look towards him, “I love you too.” y/n looked at Neuvillette, stopping both of them in their tracks. “Neuvillette, I'm being serious, I would catch myself on fire and die if you asked.” “My love, you do realize fire does not affect you, right?”

Neuvillette loved his warrior, y/n was strong and would protect Neuvillette from anyone who looked at them wrong. Even if he didn't say it out loud, it always made Neuvillette proud that he was the only one to make y/n act like a different person than he normally was. It was also very amusing to him.

starting off strong! just like this guy . He’s a bit of an embodiement of hourglass’s near worst traits, hes his pettiness and hot headedness rolled up into a separate entity for him to deal with.

LIKE ok . i feel like im slandering him to high heaven BUT HEAR ME OUT his entire vibes are overwhelmingly violent, even down to his mechanics. Unlike Pandora’s unpredictability theres an added layer of terror to him. Predator and Prey are a strong theme in TLO2R, and Undying really really really rides that theme home. Hes a man in hot pursuit of you, and he is IN YOUR FACE ABOUT IT!!! Hes almost ??? feral?? about it?? his horror is the exact opposite direction of pandora, hes human shaped and he used to be human but theres something so so so WRONG with how he looks, there is NO shred of humanity in his eyes! Like, if undying wasnt stopped by his bad eyesight tlo wouldve been way shorter lmao

pandora

pandora is a funny girl because like i said shes a little bit of a more neutral party. Obviously shes on the bad guy side but unlike undying shes Literally Just Vibing. Shes not actively searching for you, sort of just bumbling around the house and getting flashbanged.

While she’s a character that relies a bit more on gore to be scary (i will say scenes where she gets in your face never fail to make me jump) shes not without unsettlingness that looking at a dead person makes you feel. Like i said in undyings paragraph, Pandoras horror comes from her looking far too human. Unlike undying, its quite easy to imagine what she looked like probably just a few hours before the gameplay started, also unlike undying we get to see her in the process of being sacrificed. It adds an uncomfortable humanity to her, Its actually quite sad now that in really thinking abut it.

cult

i dont really have too much for cult, other than that hes a cruel and twisted little man. Hes also a bit of a suck up to hourglass, hes like his lapdog or whatever.

Cults phone calls sound mildly like hes bragging and so freaking confident that this hour’ll be your last! and while he was right its still kinda funny. His language is flowery and lax at the start, hell maybe this isnt the first time he’s seen the wrath of Hourglass. He gets more fustrated as time goes on, like no!!! this wasn’t supposed to happen! Hw knows its a waiting game but it pisses him off all the while. I guess most of his words were meant to rile mc up. Scare him enough that he’ll slip up, fail to stifle his breathing, misremember the amount of knocks so that they’ll finally fucking die!!!!

the big bad himself. My interpretation isnt really too different from cannon, hes a twisted guy who’ll trample anyone that stands in his way. Hes got no qualms for killing and he wants absolute devotion from his followers. Killing anyone who wants otherwise. Cult may seem like a perfect follower in his eyes, a man that screams his praises of him to high heavens and low hells, his devotion unmatched to any regular cultist, none of THOSE chums would take the time to climb up into a balcony, knock a few times, climb down, walk around and into the building to take an elevator to mcs floor, knock on the door then rinse and repeat! he wants to be revered and respected for his power, rule the world with a clawed iron fist.

This is a silly headcannon but i imagine that because of his craving for respect and undying being himself (see: above) the two have a bit of power struggle going on. They both wanna be in charge at the same time and end up fighting because of it. Maybe thats how Undying got locked into lvl 2 pirate caverns. He got grounded

I imagine that hes having a mix of feelings that’s being dulled from adrenaline. Mainly guilt and fear though. Mc was probably looking for a place to belong, or to have some sort of higher purpose. Saw in a reblogged tag that someone said they hadn't seen ND Obi-Wan interpretation before and I felt like rambling--

Overall he strikes me as someone who's very...well-practiced with brain problems? I guess the normal terminology with that is "living with mental illness." I think he's put a lot of thought, care, and practice into becoming as good with people as he is precisely because he was not good with people as a youth. In TPM he's actually kinda obnoxious! To me the way he acts in TPM feels performative, like someone making quips to an empty room to keep up the habit of running their mouth and looking smooth.

I feel like him in TPM is the endpoint of him seesawing from from quiet and anxious to sassy and opinionated--maybe I'm projecting, but didn't you guys have that thing where you were learning to act like a normal person and you overcorrected to a TV character? "I am so normal, I'm going to make cracks about how civilized someone is because that's a Normal Person thing to do." He very clearly takes his behavioral cues from Qui-Gon in TPM, a duckling copying to learn--which makes it very funny when he tries to argue with Qui-Gon in TPM, because it's exactly what Qui-Gon does to the Council but Qui-Gon doesn't have any patience for it once he's on the receiving end.

So his character arc (I think) goes from ball of anxiety to erudite class clown to I Have Such A Good Grade In Normal Person, but mostly works out well.

(Or maybe that feels too negative; I don't mean that he's performing constantly throughout TCW, but that he's largely content with himself even as he's aware that his modes of thinking will never be seen as 'normal.' He learned how to be good at people largely to handle his own brain problems, and those skills are still useful outside of his own brain. Maybe more like "I have a degree in Normal Person.")

There's a lot of exchanges with Anakin where Obi-Wan seems to feel like he's saying very much but Anakin isn't picking up on it at all.

I think his experiences with anxiety gave him an excellent basis for naming/processing emotions, but he struggles to communicate those to other people because he's not prone to the outbursts of emotionalism that people consider 'normal expression.' Because he's so good at diplomatic chitchat, people assume he's socially 'normal' but it's quite the opposite. If he hadn't gone through the consideration and training that he did as a youth, he'd probably be a lot more stonefaced and come off colder. JIB9 (JIBCON, 2018) ANYALYSIS-PART 1

I never know how to begin these things so let’s just dive in.

Jensen and Misha enter the stage as Alex is leaving. Jensen commends Alex and Misha whistles and Jensen says don’t hurt my ears or something. And so it begin. Misha says he regretted it [whistling] immediately.

 I’m hard of hearing you know why because I whistled. This joke didn’t land Misha. Sorry.

Jensen says “Hey” like he wants to say something to the audience but Misha does this weird thing where he runs his index finger down his nose and touches his chin.

I think this was Misha trying to communicate his disappointment that Jensen didn’t get the joke. He wanted him to get the joke. Misha e tries to find his seat so he could sit but Jensen catches on that Misha needs him so he says, “Hey what? I’m sorry I didn’t hear you.” Aww :)

Misha leans his ear closer to Jensen and says, and Jensen leans even closer and they have this back and forth banter about not hearing what the other is saying.

To mention something personal, I am usually very uncomfortable when people lean into me, I like my personal space unless it’s someone I’m really close to and even then not always will be with them getting up close and personal.. They seem okay with it so good for them I guess. Personal space who?

“I don’t understand your accent” Misha says. I don’t know if this is an inside joke because Jensen says “shut up,” playfully and they sit down.

Jensen applauds Alex and Misha whistles again and Jensen has to look away faux disappointed because they just talked about whistling. Misha!!! Stop being naughty.

Jensen even rubs his ears to show that he can’t hear properly. LOL.

That’s like super loud dude.

 I actually find it really weird when Misha and Jensen call each other dude. It sounds unnatural because Jensen often calls other men-pal, bud, or man and Misha usually uses people’s names or says my friend so and so. So maybe this is what they call each other? I know when I talk to my bf or my friends I call them dude (gn) especially when I’m shocked about something. So, it’s not a biggie. Just noting this because they do this a lot with each other.

Misha does this super cute shoulder shrug with the biggest grin on his face. How can a grown ass man be that adorable. I don’t know how he does it but well he did it and it’s adorable. No wonder Jensen wants to put him in his pocket and take him home.

“I’m compensating.” And he looks at Jensen with this shit eating grin on his face as if challenging him and it’s like Jensen looks like he can’t breathe for a second it was literally three seconds.

 “[compensating] For a lot of things that’s wow.” Jensen says. Misha keeps grinning. Of course Jensen would know what Misha is compensating for wouldn’t he?

 Should we talk about Alex?” Jensen asks looking at Misha.

Loudly “Yeah.”

“No I don’t think so.”

What did you ask how was the pantheon? 

Jesus I love their madness. They play off each other so well.

They say they are working on teaching alex to talk about inappropriate things.  Side note: It’s funny though because Alex looks like their love child. He looks like Misha, and to some extent Jensen, his hair, sense of style and even the way he carries himself is all Jensen. So weird. What if –What if---nvm.

Jensen mentions he remembers his first season of spn. Misha looks at Jensen and says no you don’t [remember] and Jensen agrees that he doesn’t. Yes finish each other’s sentences why don’t you? He says he doesn’t remember that far back and Misha has this far away look as if he is trying to remember something and starts laughing and Jensen has this smirk on his face. IDK what is going on but these are moments I wish I could read minds.

The way Jensen is looking at Misha though.

So Misha mentions how Jared pranked Alex during the tattoo scene of s13x02. The moment Misha mentions Jared, Jensen stops smiling.

Knowing what we know now about the fallout I want to mention something. When Misha talks about Jared and his prank on Alex Jensen doesn’t seem too enthusiastic about that. Hmm and he circles back to talk about Alex then he calls Jared a toddler? But Misha makes it sound like Jensen was referring to Alex by saying easy prey . 

Misha shows the face Alex makes when they are on set together because of the pranks and the jokes.

Jensen adds, “Do you know how many times I’ve seen you do that?”+  Jensen is so excited. I mean anyone who says this is PR then they are crazy. You can’t fake emotions like that no matter how good of an actor you are.

‘The way Jensen calls Misha ‘this one’ It sounds so couply. Like when one half of a couple says, “this one is always a crying mess when we watch the notebook” or something akin to that. Any that’s just how I interpreted it, I could be wrong.

And this is how Misha is looking at Jensen when he says “this one”

That moment when Misha touches the back of Jensen’s neck and Jensen touches his thigh and they think it’s too gay because because Jensen acts like he just touched dirt and Misha brushes off his thigh and smells it. Now that’s acting.

Jensen checks Misha out (he specifically looks at Misha’s arms) and then asks “how’re you doing bud?”

Misha says good and that cringe moment about clothes sharing starts and oh I can’t look…okay I had to look  because cringe. But the way Jensen is looking at Misha is giving me the courage to and also I had to for the sake of this analysis I had to look.

“This morning Jensen was like, ‘hey, here’s that shirt you wanna borrow that shirt to wear to the convention today and I was like ‘no dude I’m not wearing your shirt to the convention to the convention’ and he’s [Jensen] like don’t worry it still has tags on it it’s fine. And I’m like no thanks , I’m not gonna wear your fucking shirt to the convention. And then at lunch I spilled salad dressing all over my shirt like sweet so thanks for the shirt.”

The whole time Misha is telling the story he’s not looking at Jensen he’s looking at the crowd. Jensen on the other hand is checking Misha out while biting his bottom lip. There’s a lot to unpack here.

Jensen:  ‘I knew. Umm..”

Misha:  “You are like Misha didn’t bring his bib today so…”

Jensen:  “He didn’t bring his bib? We are probably having you know some pretty----no I was literally have a shirt that I brought that…cause I try to wear something new for every time there are pictures being taken of me just cause that’s the culture we live in now…”

Interrupting moose enters.

I think when Jared is giving Jensen the balloons Jensen asks him if Daniela or someone else sent him to join them but I think he came of his own volition.

Jared is asking Jensen to untie a balloon for him but Jensen doesn’t look too thrilled

Misha must’ve noticed the tension between those two so he asks, “how good a knot did you tie?” 

Jensen’s like, “You know what? I tie a knot that a professional knows how to tie.” Okay kinky, tell us more about knots Jensen. (Sorry for this but knowing the A/B/O or rather the Omegaverse was started because of Jensen and now he’s  talking about tying a knot and…you know what nvm)

Misha pretends that what Jensen is saying is sus so he and Jared have a back and forth wondering what Jensen is talking about as Jensen unties the balloons. Yeah sure Misha like he hasn’t tied …you know what? This is getting uncomfortable even for me. Can we move on?

But Jensen won’t let me move on because he’s like, “seriously that’s how you tie a knot.” Of course you’d know sir

Jared adds, “Or it’s not” can someone shut this man up, please.

Jensen doesn’t like his friend’s joke and he has something to say about it,  “Did he have to join us?” Was this a joke? Was it serious? Who knows but recent events seem to suggest that he might’ve been serious but made it look like a joke.

Jared asks for one balloon and Misha tries to reach for one but Jensen keeps pulling them away so Misha can’t reach. This is so playful and adorable. Misha snags one finally then gives it to Jared. One flies away and he tries to reach for it but he’s not tall enough. 

“Do you want some help?”  Jared asks and laughs then Misha gives him the finger. 

Jensen gets grumpy after Daniela brings Misha a colourless balloon so he hits it with his microphone then he hits his and  sits on it and pops it. Fuck that was hot for some weird reason. I could watch him pop balloons all day.

Misha tries Miserably to pop his, Jared can’t look, Jensen is still grumpy but the more Misha struggles the happier Jensen gets and he even manages a smile.

This was hilarious though. Their face journeys.

Jared brings a watermelon and gives it to Misha but Jensen slaps it out of his hands and shows he doesn’t want him to do it from the way he’s waving his hand.

The only thing Jensen wants Misha to wrap his legs around is his waist, or his neck or shoulders or whatever. I don’t know which method of wrestling they prefer, I’m not a professional wrestler I mean I’ve watched WWE a few times but-

Jensen seems happy, I don’t know what Misha says to him before he sits but Jensen seems okay until…

Jared hands Misha the pink balloon holder and says, “You gonna want this for later,” 

Misha doesn’t look too happy about it either but he’s always a good sport. Poor guy, so he plays a long and looks at the holder which interestingly is pink and phallic. I know Jared was joking and yeah the joke wasn’t that funny but Jensen is super pissed because he asks, “Is he?” looking at the balloon holder.

Jesus Jensen wtf? But I honestly understand him, I mean why would Misha need that weird cheap plastic thing when there was the real thing waiting someone in a pair of Levis.

Jensen says, “well… some parts of this”  I can’t quite make out what he says.

Misha tries to make it a light moment by saying it looks like something horrible happened and that gets Jensen to laugh and then Misha bends over to uh..to drop the melon and the phallic object and Jensen’s eyes shoot right down the citrusy-juicy stone fruit goodness. He catches himself looks away and then looks at the crowd while chewing on his bottom lip.

Okay sexual jokes are fun but not every time Jared. I mean c’mon, not everything is a gay sex joke. This is the one thing that sells him out as a straight dude. He makes way too many gay sex jokes it’s not even funny.

They have this weird back and forth about Jared having some notes. Argh. It’s weird. It’s like they are fighting. You see how girls fight and act like like they aren’t fighting but you can sense the seething anger in the undertones of their voices? That’s the vibe I get here. Even Misha is confused because he keeps looking between the two wondering why notes are so important of a discussion that warrants a back and forth. Or maybe it’s just me. IDK.

Misha has to jump in and save the day “He’s [Jared] is just looking through for pictures] Misha explaining to Jensen why Jared has to read the script forty times while Jensen only reads it once.  WTF is going on boys? You were doing so well before and now things seem totally awkward *cough*fallout*cough*

Jensen looks totally done like he wants to be anywhere but here, seriously look at him.

It gets so awkward so much so that Misha has to prompt a fan to ask a question. As I said earlier, no one is such a great actor to fake emotions. Jensen keeps proving my theory. Something was going on with j/2 that day and no matter how hard they tried to mask it, it came out and it wasn’t pretty. Then again, maybe it’s just me and nothing was going on.

A fan asks how they like stories to end and  before he can answer, Misha quickly glances at Jensen then goes ahead and explains how he likes the story to leave him on a cliffhanger.

Misha has barely finished talking before Jensen chimes in with a “I Do NOT!” Look at Jared’s and Misha’s faces. Something was clearly going on and I think it had something to do with the show because Jensen didn’t seem okay since Jared came on stage. He says how he wants a finality to things otherwise jerks. They were clearly talking about the show, Jensen, for a good actor you are acting really weird. It is about the show because he says, “we are just dead”  Something very weird was going on. Maybe at this time they already had had their meeting with TPTB in LA and he was told to take it or leave it and Jared and Kripke didn’t even hear him out. My poor baby, Do all the spin offs King and you should star in all of them like you deserve.

He even says that spn dying is not a finality. He looks super pissed. What did these people (Jared and tptb) do to him? They broke him. He was doing so well.

Luckily a fan asks them if they can dance so Jensen goes to the wheel and Misha gets up. I think he knows Jensen is angry and he has to try to make his man happy the best way he can. Jared is suffering from second hand embarrassment as am I. Jared can’t look, same Jared this is so cringe. But Jensen can’t help himself, as he is coming back from spinning the wheel he checks out Misha’s citrusy-juicy goodness again 🍑

Misha please stop. I love you but this is embarrassing. Okay so let me look at Jensen instead. He looks like those gentlemen waiting for the debutantes at a debutante ball because of the way he’s standing looking at Misha dance. Subtle sir. Very subtle. I mean if my friend was dancing like that I’d be laughing at them not watching longingly. Just saying, but that’s just me.

The way Misha looks at Jensen and starts rolling his hips. Sirs, can you not do your mating dance in public? There are children in the audience. 

Even the way Jensen cues in the music so he can dance looks like he’s in the Victorian era asking the music master to play the song he asked to be cued in so he could dance with his sweetheart or something. Am I going crazy? I’m going crazy.

The whole dancing scene was just cringe.

Mish explaining what Castiel does when the boys go to sleep 

Hold on, when Jensen asks what Castiel does when the Sam and Dean are asleep in their respective bedrooms, he made sure to emphasize respective bedrooms and we all know the reason why. Stay speaking facts king.

Anyway, when he asks Misha to demonstrate for us what Cas does, did he expect that Cas stands there peeping into Dean’s room and wanks or what did he expect? Honestly I’m just curious, what did he want Misha to demonstrate exactly.

Then he gets up to demonstrate it himself . 

When Misha says that the episode will be called ‘I’ll just wait here ten” Jensen unicorn laughs and when he realizes he was laughing to hard at Misha’s joke he says, ”I don’t get it.” Yeah sure Jensen it was clear from how hard you laughing to the point where we could see your tonsils that you didn’t get it. Good one. Misha maintains a serious face and even shakes his head.

A fan asks Misha what Castiel would have in his room. Misha says just a bunch of catnip. I don’t know what is so funny again that it warrants Jensen to hide his face because he’s trying not to laugh too hard. Does the word catnip or Cas being a cat mean something to you? Is it because Misha is cute like a kitten? Do love to rub his tum and hear him purr? Does he rub his nose along your beard like a cat would? What is so funny?

Then Jensen adds, “and kitty litter.” So adorable. I want in on the inside joke.

Misha says that he would have a poster of a cat hanging from a tree that says, “Hey it’s Monday” and Jensen laughs so hard. Then Jensen makes sure to add, “he has that poster in his trailer.” How do you know?

Why are these two dorks so happy about the mention of AU Cas? 

Then the way Jensen is excited about asking Misha for a demonstration of AU Cas 

 WTF am I watching? Help. But the eye fuck and the way the laugh.

Look how hard Jensen is laughing when Misha says what went through his head is that “they met at a club.” Pray for Jensen. He needs help. Serious help because no one is ever that funny all the time Jensen.

You can see how Jensen’s mood changed after Jared said that is the best acting he has ever seen Misha do. Jared seriously read the room. That part of the video has been discussed before so I won’t get into that.

The way Jensen’s eyes widen when Jared says Misha really wants to answer the who is your rock question. It is subtle but it happens. He also raises his eyebrows  as if to say “really? leave my husband alone.”

Okay did Jared expect Misha to say Jensen was his rock or??

Jensen is acting weird through Misha’s answer. He’s mostly stoic, like he’s holding his breath? Can I also mention how handsome Misha looks? But I like Misha’s answer and it’s so beautiful that he married his best friend. Everyone who wants to get married should marry their best friend. What do I know though? Marriage is a foreign concept to me.

Jensen asks how many mothers there are in the audience.

Jared carries on with “how many of us have mothers?

Misha: That’s quite an impressive turn out. So many people didn’t raise their hands.

“They are like no I was genetically engineered in a lab.” Okay hear me out. Jensen knows what you know who believe that  his kids and Jared’s kids were made in a lab because they couldn’t stand to copulate with their wives because of how much they hate them because Jared is his on true love. If you didn’t know this I’m sorry to divulge this disgusting piece of information to you but you can’t unsee it now so you are welcome. I swear I think this was a jab at them, no one can convince me otherwise.

Even Jared and Misha’s reaction to that is pretty telling. Then Jensen adds “And some of you probably were” I think he means those soulless fans who send their wives and kids threats and also hate on Misha every chance they get. Go off king.

He talks about how his wife is also his rock aww Jensen

Remember how Jensen was being weird during Misha’s answer? Misha is being weird as well, mostly stoic and looking at a fixed spot on the ground. I want to know what was so interesting.

Oh that micro expression from Jared, his right eye widens the moment Jensen says “I have some amazing pebbles in my life.” Did he think Jensen was going to out himself? He was like oh shit oh sit it’s happening.

The glee on Misha’s face when when Jensen calls him a pebble aww Jensen.

I know what I’m about to say is controversial but I think that by pebbles Jensen meant Misha. It doesn’t make sense that he was comparing his wife and his friends. The only person he would relate his wife to is his husband. I know this sounds crazy and people will definitely not be happy about this but that’s my opinion.I I know he loves Jared and he is his bro for life  so if he was referring to them both wouldn’t he have pointed to them both?

Jared talks about how sometimes he doesn’t want to burden the people he really loves with what’s on his mind all the time and Jensen points to himself in a very aggressive way. Jesus Jensen way to be subtle. Fuck. Also Jensen nods vigorously when Jared says look for your pebbles because sometimes pebbles are what you need to get back to your rock.

It’s time to sing a hbd song and when Misha asks Jared “did you volunteer for this?” That’s when Jensen places his hand on Misha’s knee and says “I got it” He’s like, babe seriously? You are gonna ask Jared to sing when you know I got the voice for it? Seriously? I’m right here babe. I sing to you every night and you gonna do me like this? I got this and you are mine.

He caresses that leg and gets very comfortable on it, draping his arm from the elbow down on it. Possessive much? It’s clearly not the first time he has parched on that leg. The hand was on that leg for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Yes, I counted.

The intimate way in which Jensen and Misha they are seated is so awkward that Jared scoots away from them.

 Damn, son. Jensen’s vocals are out of this world. So good.

Jesus Jared “Deeper, deeper feel it” Is that what they were screaming through the hotel walls last night? Tell us more.

Misha is so uncomfortable and Jensen is so done.

So overall this part was basically cockles being cockles, Jensen being possessive of Misha, Jared being Jared, Jensen being done, the girls are fighting and Misha is the referee.

First Impression- when I first saw his sprite i was under the foolish allusion he was just a grouchy old man.

Impression Now- I was wrong.... hes so much more.. my second impression was that hes genuinely the most funny character ever. And then the more I get into his dialogue and actions and behaviour I just get more?? Sad for him? DONT GET ME WRONG hes still hilarious, but the fact hes deluded himself so deeply.. I wish for this lil man to get a therapist stat! What a genuinely deep and well written character????

He reminds me somewhat of Porky from Earthbound in the way that he never grew up or moved on because no one was there to teach him how. Like he still fights with his own wooden sword he built when he was a kid??? Sir??

Favourite Moment- i still crack up at 'now the true predator arrives...' from his dream nail dialogue in Deepnest.

Idea for a story- Literally a story from Zotes POV would be wonderful. I always imagine things animated, as a comic or as a movie but I'd kill for a story where Zote recounts his adventure and its for the most part funny and silly because its very clear a lot of it is fabricated or hammed up- but there's bits where it wanes slightly and you see more to it. And start picking up on hints about WHY he's fabricating bits and WHY he's lying. Nd then later on picking up that he genuinely believes himself. I think that would be a perfect blend of tragedy and comedy methinks!

Unpopular opinion- why does everyone hate zote i think loving zote and believing he's actually pretty tragic is unpopular so ill go with that one! :3

Favourite relationship - Him and bretta for sure! I love love love your interpretation of them as besties. I've just taken that as my own personal canon tbh!

Favourite headcanon- I like that folks intetpret him as ace/aro! He has no time for that hes got IMPORTANT bisnis.

First impression- I cant really say too much here aside that I LOVED his design. And still do!!

Impression now- TISSOOOO MY BELOVED. Hes so interesting and has so much potential for interesting relationship dynamics and interactions with things I kinda wish we saw him more around Hollownest! And I know I say this for every single character I like but hes funny KDJSKX

Favourite moment- i think its hilarious when you dream nail him and his first thought is ' I should kill this thing' (Didn't zote have a similar thought too??? Or am I mixing it up. Did both of these emotionally repressed bugs think of killing Ghost immediately or-)

Idea for a story- tiso quirrel adventure. Brains and brawn. Sword and shield. Honestly just a perfect duo and dynamic. ALTERNATIVELY. Hornet and Tiso adventure. Hornet would get so frustrated at his weird... uppity personality.

Unpopular opinion- hes alive hes alive hes alive😭😭 he never died he isn't dead in the game hes fine

Favourite relationship- ofc I enjoy a potential dynamic of him and Quirrel but I also think him and Zote have so much bravado in common it would be hilarious to have them interact and become grudging friends who keep trying to one up each other. Tiso tells the truth about his accomplishments and zote does not JDJSJX

Favourite headcanon- I like to think he's a fancy upper-class bug. And while my headcanons are give or take bc I like any and every interpretation; I like to entertain the idea hes so fancy schmancy he doesnt actually quite know what the hell hes doing and makes it up as he goes. Usually making things harder for himself for no reason.

hmmmmm.... i used to care more about Plot Twists and Misdirection than i do now (you guys are NEVER going to guess what happens in Hey Four, Wanna Kill A Dragon With Me? >:3) but i do have one funny anecdote to share.

SPOILERS FOR TO ISOLATE SPOILERS FOR ONE OF THE BIGGEST IF NOT THE BIGGEST REVEALS IN A 170K WORD SKY-CENTRIC FIC OKAY IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT ONE DAY POSSIBLY EVER READ THIS FIC, PLEASE SKIP DOWN TO THE NEXT QUESTION

interestingly enough, i can't really think of a particular ao3 comment that stood out as an "Oh Frick They're Onto Me." a lot of prediction/theory comments had enough wrong mixed in with the right that it didn't quite feel like they'd Cracked The Code or anything.

there is one exception.

it kind of shows, but the early chapters of To Isolate were actually livewritten on the LU Discord (i'm choosing to interpret the dramatic decrease in quality (that, evidence suggests, i am the only person intensely bothered by) as a *checks notes* meta-textual allegory for the chaotic, unfocused, disorganized, unclear way in which Sky is viewing the world given all the stuff he's dealing with.)

okay, anyway, i looked high and low for that livewrite—chances are it was on a side server i'm not in anymore—but basically this was REALLY EARLY ON, like chapter one or two, maybe, and it was at a bit where sky was just describing the behavior of whoever's cycle it was and someone on the discord was like "does X character think they're going to die or something??" and i was like O_O; kind of freaking out internally because FRICK if it's that easy to guess the big secret only 5k words in, the rest of this fic is about to get real hard to write real fast. fortunately, that person either forgot about or discarded that theory and nobody else ever brought it up again :D eventually we got to the point where emotionally-charged plot developments were happening interspersed with so much of the new information that people's desire to theorize seems to be overwhelmed by their desire to KEEP READING and then the sheer volume of sky's own theorizing and hypothesizing kind of unconsciously forces the reader down the same lines of reasoning as him and we manage to avoid poking massive holes in the story! woo!!! (massive props to poltea for helping orchestrate everything gosh she is so good at this—it's kind of terrifying! (yeah, to people who are scared of me because of to isolate, it's poltea you should really be scared of. she's the one in charge of the villain—i just write the boys))

anyway, yeah! none of my other fics rely on mystery and suspense quite like To Isolate, so i'm not quite so caught off guard when people see stuff coming in those fics than i am when they do in To Isolate.

okay, no, that's not the case. i reread What Hyrule Hadn't Seen recently to check something for a friend and i've looked back at some other stuff, too. they really hold up quite well, there's just... moments. gah, some of these little bits make me want to rewrite the entire fic or re-release an Updated Version with the lines and scenes edited out. there's little stuff like Legend saying some token bitter comment about the Goddess just because That's How Legend Gets Written often and i was newer to the fandom and didn't have the experience to say okay FIRST legend doesn't even know who hylia IS and SECOND, this isn't even her FAULT like she's NOT omnipotent and she needed like THREE contingencies to take down demise and was canonically injured in the fight and reincarnated herself so she could use the triforce, which is farore, din, and nayru's so she's literally canonically the weakest named goddess in the pantheon and THIRDLY i don't even think it makes sense for legend to be that bitter about his adventures—or at least if he is, i don't feel comfortable writing him that way without actually addressing why he feels that way and exploring it more. *ahem.*

other than little places where the boys feel blatantly out of character in hindsight, there's just. augh, there's paragraphs with too many adverbs and just rows of consecutive dialogue tags and yes, i know that that means my writing's getting better and that the original writing isn't necessarily bad and don't worry i'm not gonna delete or re-release anything. i just can't read some of it without cringing to death.

like—okay, my first fic, Turn Back Time. i haven't read this fic in its entirety in a VERY long time. i've tried, but i can't make it very far (i understand that this is on some people's list of favorite fics and there's nothing wrong with that! i loved it to death and was SO PROUD OF IT when i first finished it and i don't begrudge anyone for feeling that way about it now). let's just see how far i make it on this reread before i crawl under my desk.

augh, i'm one paragraph in and it's SO CLEAR this was a string of discord messages before it was a fic and i didn't go back and touch up the beginning when i realized i was Actually going to write it. other than little stylistic things that grate on my nerves and didn't used to, i don't really like writing the colors as four separate trains of thought running in four's head. it's The Way Four's Written, often, and as a new member of the fandom, i followed the trend but in hindsight, i just... no shade to people who write four with all the internal dialogue—i've read some of your stuff and absolutely love it—i've just never been able to handle it in a way i'm particularly happy with in my own writing.

like, these scenes aren't bad. they're not as good as my newer stuff, but i don't think they're bad. the stuff that grates on my nerves is the stuff that i know i wrote a certain way, not because i wanted to write it that way, but because i was just unthinkingly following the standard. i'm trying to think of analogy to describe the way i feel about this writing but i honestly can't. it's just—the problem isn't that i think it's bad (though a decently sized part of me does), it's that it's not me. it's that it's not how i would have written that character or that scene if i'd thought about it more. but i wasn't thinking, i was having fun, and that's totally within my rights. i just. i'm kind of embarrassed to have that under my name because it doesn't really feel like it's mine, like it's an accurate representation of what i feel or think. (don't worry, i'm not going to orphan anything).

truth be told, i honestly really like my writing, for the most part. i'll sometimes go and reread my own fics and gasp like "I DID NOT DO THAT!!! OH MY GOODNESS I DID. HOW DARE I????" like,,, i have a really REALLY bad memory and so there are entire bits of my own fics that i've completely forgotten about and then i go back and reread and i'm blindsided by them like it's my first time reading it even though I WROTE IT. it's an experience, to be sure.

so... yeah! i like my writing! i like the way ideas fit together and the way character dynamics unfold and the way things tend to resolve. i like the way most of it still feels right, even months or years later, like yes, yes i wrote that and i'll write it again if i have to because that's exactly right. i dunno, writing is fun and it makes me happy and, evidence suggests, it makes other people happy, too. it's the highest praise i can give to say that something i made is making the world a little brighter, and i like to think my writing is doing that (even despite all the darkness it has to drag the characters through to make that happen)

Don’t know why it took me so long but here you go! I was actually planning on writing about him first but then my friend got horny so Ao Bing happened before him, sorry Yunxiang </3

Yandere Li Yunxiang Headcanons 

These are my interpretations of his persona and none of these are 100% accurate. I don’t condone any of these actions in real life and all of this is purely fictional and should be taken as such. 

I’ve seen the movie like twice so I hope it’s enough, but until then I have this much to offer so hope you like them! Anyway, I see him as overprotective, possessive, manipulative, and controlling (depending on the scene). 

Okay so I know it’s not a lot but he’s, in my opinion, a very easy yandere? Like I can kinda think from the top of my head for traits. For starters, in the movie, he not only expresses a hard-headed and very stubborn personality, but he is also very emotional leaning towards anger. We can see that he can joke with Kasha and carry a friendship/conversation, but with his father, we can see that he has very different ideas and can stick to them. If he is angered he can very much act on it or avoid it together. Offered money to forget what Ao Bing did? Yeah, no his idea is an eye for an eye and he isn’t switching. Kasha, his father, brother, is very overprotective of his family and friends. 

His S/O is no different. He has one before him finding out he is Nezha? He’d be very overprotective of them and quite possessive. You and he would have a very serious and joking relationship. I see it as it would be like his and Kasha? Kinda like that, just obviously a bit more intimate. Does someone jokingly say something about you? Harmful comment or flirtatious comment? His tone might say joke, but his eyes and actions reveal his anger. Funny enough, while he is very stubborn and I see him as wanting to ensure that EVERYONE knows you’re his, he would never push it. He knows what is okay and what isn’t, while it may be difficult to admit he knows. 

An easier and less confusing way to describe the vibe I get is this. Try to be the dominant and always right, if they are proven wrong or do something wrong they will never apologize and either make it up some other way. With him though, I see him owning up to his mistakes just never admitting them out loud because it’s something he doesn’t want to express. The obsessive and possessive I also see as a common trait in wanting to be dominant and right. Regardless, it’s something he has. Now let’s get into more detail if his S/O replaced Kasha’s place and lost their leg? Ao Bing is gonna die (sooner) and literally, everyone will feel his wrath. If the clan has ever hurt his darling or affected them in any way, they will suffer as well. His anger issues also play a big role in this, his anger is primarily his driving force in controlling Nezha, and sooner or later he gets the hang of it without it. 

Manipulative and here is why. Have you ever jokingly said something and been like “Oh I guess you just don’t like me?” or something similar but then you encounter someone who HAS done it seriously. That’s him. If you ever argue, he WILL pull that stupid card. Gosh, I know people who do that and it’s so fucking annoying. Also sorry Anon, you asked for headcanons but I’m just slandering this poor man. That’s basically it along with gaslighting. He gives me toxic machismo vibes. 

Danger level? 6/10. Despite my slandering, he’s like Bakugo and many other characters with similar personalities. It’s hard to admit how one feels and they can’t. Sure, they get angry at times and it’s hard sometimes but while they don’t mean it they can’t control themselves. Sometimes they will apologize or sometimes they will make it up to you. Deep down, he cares for you and doesn’t want to lose you but it’s hard admitting the truth. Pretty sure I butchered his personality and this is not what you wanted so I am so sorry but yeah, that’s all I got.
