I don’t know why everyone thinks Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen are friends. Firstly, they are both originally rich people but they live in different sides of the country and the Gotham elite seem kind of insular in the comics. Like they maybe know one another from charity events and weddings but honestly that’s a bit of a stretch.

But even if they were friends at one point, Ollie’s whole thing (at least most of the time) is despising the rich socialites he used to hang out with. He calls all billionaires (including him) scumbags on multiple occasions. If that was the case he wouldn’t be defending Bruce Wayne, he would be actively talking shit about him for being a self absorbed rich boy who hasn’t worked a day in his life, much less read Das Kapital.

I'm thinking the Snack Pack discovers Branch's talent and his connection to Brozone explicitly because the songs he dings are all Brozone songs (partially because that's what he knows best, partially because of the fact he misses his brothers a lot, partially because angst driven by the need to be perfect he developed). What said connection is they don't know, all they know is they've now seen Branch, the village grump, now singing and dancing to 'Perfect' as they watched him when they decided to stakeout the village's main stage only to have a near breakdown when he gets to the first chorus or if he fumbles a step in his apparently choreographed dance.
