[ “You like… stargazing? Really?”
You almost wish that you could take your questioning back at the sight of Mhin’s offended stare, as they splutter at you defensively.
“W-What about it?” They glare at you, arms crossed with that trademark pout of theirs. You watch in awe as soft pink spreads across pale cheeks, and retract any remorse you previously had about your words. Worth it. ]
You learn something new about your favorite Soulless Hunter, but you don't expect to have it come in handy anytime soon...
But Eridia is kind sometimes, and it doesn't take long before you're exposed to a side of Mhin that you never expected... but oh so wanted to see.
(In which two emotionally silly people look at the stars and pine)

I have a Question ?
What would happen if Cassie calls Roxy/Roxanne wolf mom ?
In my au that's unlikely since Cassie views Roxy as a big sister, but if it somehow happens, I think they'd both laugh at it.
"Hey mom-" Cassie's mouth shut fast after realizing what came out from it. "I MEAN, ROXY."
Roxy blinked once, nonplussed even, then snorted. "Yes, my daughter? What could I, the best mother in the world, do for you?" She chose to play around with the situation.
"STOOOP, THIS IS WRONG!!" Cassie complained, no anger at all though. Actually, she was having fun too.

you've heard of "quiet quitting," now I'd like to introduce you to the next level, The French Work Ethic:
Do exactly what you're paid for and nothing more
Absolutely refuse to be available to contact when you're off the clock
Never prioritize work over your own health, wellbeing, or family because that would be insane, it's just a job.
Have a little glass of wine
Take as long as you feel like for lunch
Deeply understand that work doesn't matter
Make sure your boss knows they're always your second priority ❤️
