I can tolerate a lot of bad artistry, but the fact that I had to spend a few minutes just trying to figure out these proportions and how her body is moving says so much.

for everyone on my blog I am very acutely aware of everything that is going on rn. as for where I stand I do believe that they needed to be held accountable for their actions and they have their apologies there for those of color to choose whether they accept it or not. do I think that those who made the post went too far?? no I don't because they could have been a LOT harsher but chose not to and that in itself shows a lot.
now I do believe people can change, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna trust them, plus it takes more than just a few measily words to show you truly mean what you're saying.
on to my next point if you are going around harassing Nia or Nessa then fucking shame on you. if you can find it within yourself to be so fucking heartless to go and send such nasty shit to someone then you have absolutely no room to decide whether haze or emi are in the wrong, because you yourself have gone way past that line and truly worse than scum on the bottom of a shoe.
what's done is done and it is what was needed to be done. if you can't accept that then move along, scroll, block it's that simple. yet you still choose to terrorize someone because you don't like that they exposed people for something wrong that they did to educate those around. get a grip on reality truly.
with all of this being said I am going to turn my anon button off for the time being and will start my hiatus earlier than expected. thank you.

How about we not have a character call another character a word they shouldn't even think to say in the first place even by "accident" and have it labeled as a "funny" headcanon?

I personally find it really strange when people insist (often cis gay white men) that there is this big black line dividing queer men and queer women.
which is 1) binary and 2) ignores the existence of people who are queer women and men and 3) it is so weird?
queer women and men are all queer people and have much more in common. of course there are differences, but gender essentialism is bleh.
like you see this... tone that some (predominantly cis gay guys, generally white) people have that writing/creating gay men (generally gay, not bi because also frequently biphobes, in my experience) is the exclusive purview of gay men. and it's like, one that's not how the world works (although I understand the instinct) and two, they often go out of their way to malign the 'epidemic' of women daring to write stories (fanfiction) centring gay men (which is statistically likely AND comes with the added bonus of Don't Have To Think About Misogyny).
it reeks with misogyny. there is, of course, a real issue with some women fetishising gay men, but many women writing queer women tend to be queer themselves and it's like...
queerness transcends gender, my dude (gender neutral).
rant brought to you by my hatred of 1) gatekeeping/policing and 2) learning about james somerton
some people treat queer women as 'queer lite' because of the historical lack of criminalisation of queer women (in the sapphic way - trans women have been treated horrendously historically) - in a lot of the western world (because queen victoria didn't believe lesbians existed) and it infuriates me.

The treatment of Frank at the LS Dunes show as well as the invasive treatment to the other MCR members has brought up something I have been ruminating on for a while. The idea of transaction.
When you pay to see LS Dunes live you are paying for that. To see LS Dunes. If any member decides they want to interact beyond that that's their choice not yours.
It's like being invited to someone's house for dinner and demanding you be served dessert.
They don't owe you anything beyond what they promised.
For the amount of uncertainty and instability these past few years have held it should be more than understandable why people need space and time.
Not to mention COVID is still here, and just because Frank's performing in public again doesn't mean he magically stops being immunocompromised.
This intrusive behaviour is why MCR is so much less personable and far more inaccessible. Why there's no meet and greets.
For the sake of Frank and the sake of other fans. Use your common sense and manners.
Please.

pookie I am your #1 defender because frankly, you're hilarious. The type of fangirl that's an endangered species
But let's just keep our hate-boner to the character. It's not cute. Ok? Ok!

When you overcompensate for being naturally bad at planning and being on time a little too much and now family members are making you plan stuff for them too and completely fail to notice how draining that is for you.
