Thomas Christopher Greene once stated in a book, "Time can be slowed if you live deliberately. If you stop and watch sunsets. If you spend time sitting on porches listening to the woods. If you give in to the reality of the seasons." 

But right now, time doesn't slow down for you as you sit hours and hours long on the window ledge of your best friend's dorm living room. You can feel the hardness of the wall right at your back, your knees pulled up tightly on your chest, arms wrapped loosely around it.

You gave in to the reality of the season though, summer nights are always wonderful for some people, however, these past summer nights have not been made for you as you have spent them waiting patiently for a certain someone to arrive safely in the comforts of their room. 

Your hair shifts lightly with the swift motions of your head turning upon hearing the quiet sound of keys and profanities right behind the door. 

Altering your body out of the ledge soundlessly, you mutter, "Where were you?" 

"Jesus, you scared me." Wanda's soft voice echoes throughout her dorm, clearly having the knowledge that her loud voice wouldn't wake up her already sleeping roommate. 

She huffs out, slender fingers going through her unruly hair, "You're here again?"

You watch her quietly, nodding your head in resignation as you walk past her, "Just wanted to see if you arrived safely." you say.

Wanda. Wanda has been doing this for the past months. Going out late, going home late. Missing your friendly dates, the sitcom days, the months of months plans the both of you made last year was now forgotten, thrown out like a piece of antique.

Useless and vintage.

You didn't know what changed.

"I'm not a child, you know." she harshly replies, accent coming out strong and venomous. You halted your steps, shoulders tense at the voice she was using at you.

"You don't have to go here, bother Darcy, and wait for me to arrive like some obsessed best friend who can't seem to live without hanging out with me. Stop being so clingy."

Okay.

"I just wanted to see if you arrived safely," she mocked, her phony voice skirting around the corners of your breaking heart. "Bullshit. We both know you're just afraid to be alone. Well, guess what Y/N, I am sick of that. I am sick of you."

Ever felt like someone stabbing you right in your chest, okay, wrong. This doesn't feel like stabbing to you, this felt like a bomb going off, and the pieces of your heart fly in different directions and it doesn't stop there. The pain continues on as someone's pair of hands and feet crush every tiny piece laying steadily on the floor.

That pair of hands and feet are Wanda's.

"You're not gonna say anything?" she says exasperatedly, face warp in aggravation as she stares at your back.

You have many things to say to her. Many unsaid things that you know will go deaf in her perfectly working ears. You want to say how she's been a shitty best friend ever since she met that dude at a party, how you are grasping at that tiny piece of friendship that you knew is being broken piece by piece as the time goes by, how when you look at her, you don't see her, you see a stranger living in the body of your best friend. Of the one you dearly love so much you would go into deeper depths just to see her happy.

You wanted to say that but instead, you utter these words, "What do you want me to say?"

Wanda groans, "Anything! Just— I don't know, say something." she says desperately, trying to make you understand something that you clearly can't comprehend.

"I'm gonna go." You take a step forward, towards the door only to be stopped by her tight grip on your arm.

"You can't just go."

"Wanda, I can't fucking understand you right now. Are you drunk? Are you high?" you snapped at her, voice in an edge as you turn to stare right at her face. 

She opens her mouth to say something but you are clearly not done with your words.

"What do you want me to fucking say? That you've been such a bitch lately? That, what, the old woman I met on the bus weeks ago felt more like a best friend than you ever did for these past months? What do you want me to fucking say?" you finally declare, your brows furrowed, jaw tense with fist clenched tightly against your palm. 

Wanda loosens the grip on your arm as she drinks in every word you have said to her. Not wanting to stare longer at the realization that is coming to her face, your back faces her again as your hand clutches the doorknob and latches it open for you to walk away.

"Y/N, wait—"

You whip your body fast to glower at her, "No, you listen. I fucking don't know what has gotten into you to treat me like this. We were doing fine then I just woke up with you ignoring me. I did this because I care and the friendship I have with you matters."

The timbres of your voice quiver, undertones of heartache can be heard in the staggering of your hardened voice, "But fucking shit, Wanda. You could've just told me you're tired of being in this friendship. I would have respected that, you don't have to make me feel so worthless."

Watching the light trembles of her lips and the brave step she took closer to you, you can see the morphing of hurt flashing right at her face. You're confused. She intentionally spurted those words at you, how come she has the guts to look so anguished?

"Y/N, I just—"

But you are already walking away, time slowing down with your breathing rigid and labored. Your steps are filled with regret at how you have thrown those words at her. You didn't mean it, as much as you want to mourn for whatever has gone downhill for the both of you, what you have said to her was the truth and you didn't really care right now as you are greeted with a magnificent vision of the sun slowly rising for the world to see. 

Funny, you should have listened to Thomas Greene and spent your time sitting on porches listening to the sound of the woods instead of waiting till the sun rises just to make sure your best friend arrived safely.

before I start writing I want to say that when I think girl boss I don’t think rude bitch or queen of literally everything. It is just someone who stands up for herself I also don’t know how to explain it lmao.

Honestly she just slays that’s all I can say.

In the Thor movies she starts an amazing scientist with bravery and confidence. Then she becomes a hero and dies defeating Gorr.

I like this character because her personality is different from the average girlfriend of a superhero and she always does what she believes is right and will never shy away from the truth.

7. Darcy

She just whatever she wants and is such a character. She is a girlboss don’t really have a reason why.

6. Rio

I love how she does whatever she wants and has a fun humorous attitude and while everyone is terrified she’s having a great time.

5. Agatha

Just like rio she does whatever she wants and has a great personality.

4. Scarlet witch

literally the most powerful avenger and would do anything to protect her family literally. After she realises the horrible things she’s done she doesn’t hesitate to do what she thinks she needs to do to fix it. She went from a scared character who needed to be constantly saved by Hawkeye, Petrio and other characters to the strongest avenger.

3. Nebula

She starts of as an avenger who wants to get revenge on her sister to a tough, smart, independent, protective and strong character who secretly cares about all her friends.

2. Mantis

After being told what to do and having no freedom for her whole life she finally leaves and uses her incredible kindness, empathy and powers to live her own life. I love how the movie makers didn’t mark her the average female character who either is absolutely perfect at everything and is a bitch and never does anything important or is useless and always needs saving. Instead she has her flaws and strengths.

Karen

Oh my god Karen has to be one of my favourite characters. The reason she was in daredevil in the first place is because she had murdered someone but she doesn’t remember doing it. Because she has no money she works with Matt and Foggy as a lawyer WITH NO EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE ON BEING A LAWYER. She tries to solves mystery that daredevil is trying to figure. She and her friend Ben are working together to bring these people up. Then she finds kingpins mum which no one knew existed except for a couple people including kingpin, his friend (forgot his name) and the workers at the nursing home the mum was at. Kingpins bestie friendo finds out that Karen knows this and kidnaps her. Then she KILLS HIM which is crazy because he isn’t a weak character or anything. I mean he was kinda stupid guy for leaving the gun on the middle of the table anyway. She gets kidnapped again in season 2 at the end and she tries to escape with some guy and he nearly dies but daredevil comes and saves everyone and she helps everyone get out. After that she writes the most inspiring article (because she gets given a new job WITH NO EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE OF THIS JOB AGAIN in Ben’s office once he dies.) At the end of season 2 daredevil reveals to her who he is. This is some key moments that show how much of a character she is. I won’t include everything awesome she did because this will be way to long. Anyways throughout season 1 and 2 of daredevil she shows her persistence and hope by always pushing through struggles and reassuring and helping others . Even while she was recovering from murdering someone twice and later losing two good friends all of these on separate occasions she was doing her job, being a good person and helping Foggy and daredevil. She also doesn’t put up with people doing horrible things whatever it is and will to ever she thinks is the right thing no matter the consequences. Dame I should stop writing now lmao.

okay i cannot describe how much this fic makes me lose my mind in my own words i literally have to give you guys a snippet of the fic that made me actually cry real tears and struggle to breathe:

"Baby," Keith says softly and it sends a thrill through Lance, hearing pet names from Keith is so rare he always melts when he does hear them, specially when they're whispered against his lips this way. He presses a soft chaste kiss into Lance again before he continues to mutter softly. "My baby, I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you."

its just. the devotion. the repetition. it always fucking gets me. from keith especially, bc hes such a devoted guy!! he is loyal to a goddamn fault and beyond like!!! thats how he loves!! with his whole heart his whole body his whole soul his own being!! he loves and loves and loves!!!

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (2012)

I have just started this and I already love it so much [hearteyes] It's a youtube series vlog from Elizabeth's viewpoint.

Introducing her youngest sister Lydia: "We're all very proud she's now too old to be on any reality shows about having babies in high school. Seriously. She's like a puppy. A cute, adorable, humps the neighbor's leg, never know where she sleeps puppy. Yeah she chews your slippers and marks her territory all over town, but you still love her." I really appreciate the realities of this universe. -Jane Austen exists (Mrs Bennet and Mrs Lucas went into labor at the same book club meeting, reading Sense and Sensibility) -Colin Firth exists ("I like rain, classic novels, and any movie starring Colin Firth.") -Bridget Jones exists (Lydia: "I think [Darcy]'s a great name. Isn't that Colin Firth's name in that chubby Zellweger movie?") And yet, the events of Pride & Prejudice are unfolding in real time during this story. Brilliant. It's clever, it's fun, it's in short digestible clips, so far we've only had 4 characters who play out the rest of the characters with silly voices and of course Elizabeth's perspective. Every once in a while Charlotte or Lydia control the narrative. It's wonderful.

I just finished season 1 and the timeline seems a bit mixed up but somehow very natural? We already had what I thought amounted to the Netherfield ball, but they're about to go stay at Netherfield for a while. I don't care I'm having fun!

There's a Leafs update page that keeps popping up on my Facebook timeline that's doing a countdown to the start of the season using jersey numbers, and people are really out there trying to say that Darcy Tucker is/was a better #16 than Mitch because Tucker was an enforcer and Mitch is too soft like WHAT IS THE OBSESSION WITH WANTING MITCH TO BE AGRESSIVE?!?!

I bet Darcy Tucker would have loved to be as good of a playmaker as Marner is, but that wasn't his role. Tucker's role was grit, and he was good at it. Mitch isn't paid to be gritty, he's paid to score and set up plays, AND HE'S REALLY FUCKING GOOD AT IT!

Since when is the mark of a great hockey player limited to their ability to beat the shit out of people, and why are so many men obsessed with Mitch's apparent inability to do that?

when quinn gets home from training camp, they have bea take daisy for the night because they need some time alone after mom was seeing all those pictures of quinn

bea and cole thinking it’s disrespectful to fuck in the house with the others home so they go to his car and then are just embarrassed when quinn sends them the ring footage of them coming back inside looking like messes

also side note. bea has her nipples pierced in my head suddenly. ANYWAY

maggie has been taking care of luke every night that jack just wants her to himself for a night so he get maggie very loud tonight to remind everyone that maggie is his girl

trevor wants to try some new stuff but he doesn’t want to make charlie uncomfortable but they agree to try. handcuffs are involved.

darcy got a jersey for beau this season and she was walking around last night in just the jersey and beau was just foaming at the mouth. the headboard possibly marked up the wall.

kasey having slight (major) baby fever currently and needs mackie but obviously they aren’t alone in the house so they have to make what they have available to them. kasey found the keys to the shed.

carson went to the mall and while ellen was doing something, she walked to the store next door aka victoria’s secret and tried something on just to take a picture to send to briss. she received a picture back but she was in the car already and had to keep her composure.

Show premise:

The Mark Side centers around titular character Mark's strained relationship with his childhood best friend Benjamin, who due to years of communication issues now absolutely despises him. Mark however, seems blind to the obvious deterioration their relationship has had, as he harbors major unrequited romantic feelings towards him.

Mirroring the two are Jonathon and Kenny, the other half of the friend group who through their years of knowing each other have communicated and helped each other through hardships, presenting as a strong, healthy couple today because of it.

After a summer of not being on speaking terms, Mark manages to wiggle his way back into the friend group again only to find a new guy has 'replaced him'— Ash, Benjamin's new boyfriend.

It takes place in the fictional town of Ohwell, Texas in the late 2010's!

Season 1 will showcase the arc of Mark struggling to maintain his place in the friend group despite his jealousy whilst also dealing with a plethora of emotional and complex family issues.

The main takeaway theme is that most scenarios are less black and white than one may assume at first glance, showcased by the characters being the antagonists of themselves instead of portraying one character as the villain.

All while maintaining a good balance of humor through an expressive and cartoony style! Humor and style draws lots of inspiration from 2000's Cartoon Network and Disney XD shows!

This meta post on Darcy reminded me of how Ibrahim is never seen as a sexual threat to women either. (Yes, everything reminds me of Ibrahim at this point lol).

Valide and Süleyman are genuinely surprised that he had a secret romance with Hatice. Daye and Hürrem are shocked that he is/was having an affair with Nigar.

They didn’t even consider it.

The only person who thinks of Ibrahim as a (hetero)sexual being without outside suggestion or evidence and gets jealous is Hatice who is in love with him. Even Nigar doesn’t seem especially jealous of Hatice or other women.

And in his relationships with both Hatice and Nigar the women’s crush comes first (at least superficially so): Hatice continually gazes at him from her balcony in Episode 3, Nigar tries to kiss him in Episode 21.

And this is interesting to me because in his private moments with Hatice and Nigar I think we see a fairly sexually passionate man. Which is why I don’t agree with the interpretation that he is gay (I think of him as bisexual). I also would say that he reads as vaguely predatory towards Nigar at points (maybe not as much as Nigar herself reads as predatory towards him in Season 2A, but still), especially during the events surrounding Leo’s letter and Leo’s death. His relationship with Nigar is generally marked by violence (which Nigar reads sexually) and by absolute disregard of the other’s consent by both of them. I think this is also a reason why people who ship Lion Tamer and who read Ibrahim as gay sometimes dislike Nibrahim especially: His relationship with Hatice is relatively softer and Hatice is Süleyman’s sister, whereas it is a real struggle to watch Nigar and Ibrahim’s first night and come to the conclusion that this man doesn’t desire women.

I’m Tbhtbh, Valtor is the kinda guy who’d want to know everything about Bloom. Has he ever gone back to Bloom’s house in Gardenia to learn more about Bloom and her childhood or has he just stayed in the MD to keep an eye out for her?

You are 100% correct, he absolutely is. The thing is: he has gone back. And it made him really, really anxious.

It's not very obvious in the chapter, because he doesn’t acknowledge it to himself, but there's a moment where he feels very acutely that he shouldn’t be here.

Valtor views their entire relationship through the lense of their origins. He's Dragon Fire incarnate, she's the guardian of the Flame and only survivor of Domino. That is very strong connection, and one he can use as proof that he is 100% justified in his belief that Bloom will return. Fate demands it, they’re meant to be, yadda yadda, you’ve read it all.

He has a pretty good understanding of Bloom's past on earth in this fic, but he doesn’t dwell on it outside of thinking it a potential weakness to exploit. He'd rather focus on the past she didn’t have on Domino, the life that was stolen from her, because that’s something they have in common, right? Their rightful place had been denied to them. It’s why he's so happy to indulge her need to know more about where she came from. The minute Bloom had the chance, she started to leave Gardenia behind anyway, chose the world he considers his over everything she knew.

But here's where that logic fails: Bloom loves her home on earth. She loves her parents, she loves Gardenia, she feels so safe there that she returns there at least once every season when something makes her Feel Kinda Bad for a sec. Even though she never felt like she belonged there, even though she abandoned her entire earth life for the chance to go to Alfea and become a fairy, it does not lessen the meaning and importance this place has to her. And being in her home, Valtor is confronted with undeniable proof of that.

This is where their origins diverge, this is what Valtor could never possibly relate to. It's a part of her he has no access to, and going by his own convoluted thought process, no right to either. He's infiltrated hundreds of places he wasn’t welcome in, but something as simple and uncomplicated as a loving home on Earth makes him feel foreign. Being surrounded by all the things she doesn’t need yet loves anyway, marks him as a complete stranger. There is nothing he can do to force himself into this part of her life. He can feel acutely that he has no place here, while Bloom does.

It means that his entire sense of entitlement to her is flawed.

So he does the Valtor equivalent of sticking his thumbs into his ears and going LALALALALALA, and promptly runs back to Domino, her real home. Where she'll totally be one day, because deep down she totally wants to, shut up Darcy. Denial is such a healthy coping mechanism.

TL;DR: He wants to know everything about Bloom except for the parts he feels would separate her from him. So he pretends that place doesn’t matter to her anymore, and happily forgets it exists.

So we all know the theory that Gravity Falls, The Owl House and Amphibia take place in the same universe right?

its a pretty well know theory (even if you don't believe it) in all three fandoms but if you don't here's the gist of it:

so basically that theory is built off easter eggs, like willows dads having a book with Hop-Pops face on it

and references to the other shows like that entire Gravity Falls episode in Amphibia,

that imply that they’re taking place simultaneously, with gravity falls taking place in 2012 and TOH and amphibia taking place in 2019-2020 (without the covid the lucky bastards) with Camilla reading an article about a girl returning from a frog world in the season 2 finale of TOH

but that opens the door for a whole lot of inter-dimensional *shenanigans* and so many plot points i can and will argue reference and overlap with each other.

now theres the obvious similarities like how bills minions fit the description of beast demons from the owl house:

and bill himself is on one of kings posters when he tries to teach Luz about demons:

Bill is also in the book that tells marcy about the calamity box:

a book I believe was written by ford since the cover says its by "Dr. P" (P-ines anyone?) and has eyes that look awfully familiar, which I think are a reference to either the cores eyes, the portal doors eye from toh, or Bills eye (and the fact that this eye symbol is so similar across shows feeds the theory that they're all in the same universe)

meaning the Bill is a semi-universal character/figure throughout the different realms

if the other realms (Bill's realm, the several Ford got trapped in, the Boiling Isles, and Amphibia) have access to each other, and Bill is as universal as he seems, he probably interacted with some citizens of those realms, and probably left a mark

now it's finally time for my personal take/add-in:

we never get an origin for the core 

or the newts relation to the core

we get an episode about Andrias's personal history and his individual relation to the core, and how he came to be the guy who manipulated and then stabbed a very vulnerable teenage girl, but it seems like the core has just been with the Leviathan lineage since at least before Andrias's dad (who's over a thousand years old since thats how old the flashback is)

so, what am I rambling about?

well, if bill, a dream demon, made his way to amphibia, the core might have been the newts attempt to artificially replicate his powers

NOW HEAR ME OUT: on top of being incredibly powerful once he’s released in gravity falls

he also has the power to go into other peoples minds and search their memories like he does to Stan in his very introduction

which is an awful lot like what the core tries to do, since Andrias says the core is the hive mind of a dozen of the greatest newt minds and when Darcy happens it has complete access to her memories

not to mention how when it talks to andrias what physically appears when it talks are it’s eyes, which is what changes on dipper and Blendin (time travel dude) when bill possess them

the amphibians (powered by the music box) were an incredibly advanced civilization capable of a lot of damage (as seen by the literal frobot army they created

so i don't think it would be crazy to say that when they (specifically the newts) saw what a being like Bill could do, they would try to replicate it.

Obviously, the core and Bills mind-jumping powers are not the same, which is a way I'd say the Amphibians failed: instead of popping in and out of peoples minds like Bill does, the core completely takes their minds, more like a parasite.

we don't know all the parameters since we know basically nothing about the other newts in the hive mind, other than that each mind shows up as an eye on the cores "head" before and after it possesses Marcy. and speaking of the girl, she has no control or consciousness (that we know of) while under the cores control.

but we do get one and a half-ish examples of people who are very aware of the cores presence in their mind (unlike Bill) but are physically controlling their own bodies (we think) (unlike Marcy) and those two are Andrias and his dad, who both communicate with the core more like it's just a very dangerous, intrusive thought.

so.... yeah...

I honestly have no idea when I'm going to find the time to write this idea. But I recently had the idea of a Stucky Grey's Anatomy AU. It's plaguing my brain, and I'm slowly, slowly planning it out. So, I'm going to share my cast of characters so far. Of course, it's omegaverse, and of course, it's going to include some of my favorite ships and some I'm just excited to explore.

This idea will probably be a series covering several seasons of the show. I'd like to include some of my favorite parts of the show while also going off canon and fixing some of the things I hate.

Name: Icy Hilda Rayne

Looks: Tallest one of the trix, but only coz of how she ties her long pin straight silvery-blue hair, in a high ponytail by a dark teal tube-like hairband with two long curled hairs flowing past her ears and stops at her chest in the front

Icy is pale-skinned with icy blue eyes and long. She is almost always seen wearing dark blue eye shadow, pale purple lipstick that makes her lips look frostbitten and long blue fingernails.

She used to have curly blond hair before switching to her current hairstyle.

Relationships: She loves her sister Saphire a lot, and she also loves the trix. there was a point where she was infatuated with tritannus but after he lost his power she forgot about him. her bonded Magic animal is Frosbite.

Personality: Smartest, most ambitious, crown princess of Dyamond. Icy is a cold type of person, and often acts cruel for the sake of being cruel to the point of being the cruellest, most vindictive one out of the Trix. She tends to act rude and ridicules people she does not approve of and her temper tends to get the better of her when things do not go her way. As she was already very cruel, Icy always fought her way to be the best and most powerful; a desire that only intensified with every season she and her sisters have continuously appeared to destroy the Winx. Her overwhelming cruelty has also earned her the favor of villains. She considers herself more powerful and intelligent than her sisters are.

Icy had always been able to steal the spotlight as the more evil side involved, regardless of whomever plan she may be following. Icy likens herself the groups leader while often obtaining the role of second-in-command whenever they work under a more powerful evil force like with Darkar and Valtor. However, Icy also does not become wholly submissive and, Darcy and Stormy are forgotten or left in the background. Despite all the special treatment she gets from others while upholding a sense of authority herself, Icy has shown that she does need her sisters whenever a plan is hatched.

Despite her cruelty, Icy is capable of love. It is clear that she loves Darcy and Stormy. She also loves her younger sister Sapphire.

Other positive qualities of Icy are her intelligence, her tenacity, her charisma and her bravery. She is a very charismatic and effective leader. She is also very clever. She understood the power of the Dragon Flame long before Bloom and she always came up with intelligent plans to get what she wanted. She never gave up despite having been defeated multiple times. She is also unafraid to go up against more powerful enemies. 

However, despite her intelligence and her bravery, Icy was a bit naive in the sense that she could be double crossed by deceptive villains. However, she learned her lesson finally and freed herself from Valtor's mark and she decided to fight with him with Darcy and Stormy, but she betrayed him.

History: Her mother was approached by one of the witches, Liliss, to have a child to carry on the ancestral withces' legacy, as she had a bad feeling about the upcoming fight with the company of light. Icy’s mother was a devout follower. But after having icy with her husband the king of Dyamod she had a change of heart. Liliss found out and so she sent her next most devoted follower to ruin their planet, the Blood Witch. Leadin to icy’s backstory. furthermore, the reason why Icy became so power-hungry is that she wanted to become more powerful than the Blood Witch herself, in order to undo her spell on Sapphire and save Dyamond. Icy's childhood trauma filled Icy's heart with anger and desire for revenge, to the point that Icy became herself cruel, ruthless and even capable of killing anyone standing in her way. Her original goal to save her kingdom later expanded into a desire to be the most powerful witch of all and rule the Magic Dimension, so she will never know loss again. 

Powers: She is known mostly to shoot icicles and send blizzards to freeze people to incapacitate or kill them. her powers are blue (other than her ice which also can be white)

Well hello hello darling, i'll use my special card to make a new design analysis for one of my OL oc :

Darcie Second 🍁

Starting off with basic needed infos : Darcie was build around Valentin as a sort of opposite yet similar character. Their duality is shown in their personality, color palette and evolution. Therefore if you haven't read my Valentin design explanation i advise you to read it first here before continuing with this one.

Darcie’s name was chosen for it’s meaning « dark haired » « from the dark ». Darcie is someone who lives in the shadow of other people, rarely looked upon you can almost forget she's here. Her name is also a reference to Mr. Darcy from pride and pejudice, who despise seeming rude is actually a shy character of heart who find it hard to converse with others.

Cerise is summer, Valentin is winter but Darcie is... The changing of seasons. Starting with winter palette, turning into fall and then spring ( their step 4 will surely be themed around summer but i can't confirm it surely until the game is out )

Another commom but slightly changed theme is fruits : Darcie is a vegetable, more precisely Onions ( sweet onions and red onions ), she has a lot of layers.

Darcie is Valentin's twin but is identifiable by some specific details: her tooth gap and multiple moles that she has way more than her sibling. Those are details that make her special but that she feels self-conscious about. Do you find it cute? She'll think you're making fun of her because in her eyes it's not.

Another subtle facial difference is her blue eyes. Where Valentin stands out with their heterochromia, Darcie's eyes look quite simple, another negative detail that goes on the list that differentiates the twins.

Step 1

At some point in childhood, the twins decide to have a very distinct way to tell them apart and it’s by a haircut. Darcie chose to have her hair short because her sibling convinced her she would look really cool like that.

She’s from a snowy region, her palette is cold but tinted with some warm because of the color purple. Purple is Darcie’s favorite color, wearing it and having a trinket of that color makes her a bit happy. The color is also similar to the blue pastel of Valentin, making them different yet very close. Their outfit composition I also very similar with the big sweater and white bottom

Passionate about scientific books and animals, the young girl owns a cat-shaped hat to keep her head warm since her hair is short, and also a little bag, to put trinkets in it.

Step 2

Darcie is not a confident person so she tries to look like people who are, for example, her sibling. Her step 2 design is close to Valentin’s step 1 design, mainly the pigtails and new piercings. Sadly you can catch her lack of confidence with that choice: Valentin wears high pigtails that stand out, and Darcie’s pigtails are downs.

Her color palette warms up drastically, and she has taken her marks in Golden Grove. She kept some touch of purple but overall she bland perfectly in the warm trees of the town, she’s practically invisible. The only trace of winter color is her blue shorts, but even those are almost unnoticeable when you look at them.

Her cat hat got swapped for a necklace because it was judged too childish, and her old blue bag got traded for a new brown one, surely broken with time.

Step 2 Darcie is content with being part of the decor, but deep down she wants to be her own person and be more like what her siblings used to be.

Step 3

Step 3 is the more confident Darcie has ever been about herself. Angsty teen years pass and she grew to love herself with the support of her family and friend which resulted in a newfound physical appearance.

She dyed her hair lighter, putting a definitive separation between her and her sibling and marking her individuality. The warm color approaches the purple she likes so much and she wears more girly, pretty, and croquettes clothes borrowed from her sibling.

She got a new set of piercing and bought little cat shaped one because simply, she liked them.

Darcie has a more bright palette to contrast with her sibling and both of them form a sort of duo of little swans ( black and white ) or ugly ducklings who grew to love themselves before all.

I don't know yet how I will approach her story, this will depend on the main storyline of will approach, but I am really happy to develop her more! Thanks you for readings love!
