I’ll never get over my best friends alternate names for formula one drivers such as:

“Mitsubishi (McLaren), sour strap (max verstappen), Norris nuts (lando Norris), avocado (Daniel ricciardo), wings (red bull) and, my personal favourite, Vegemite pastry (Oscar piastri).

Even though she made these names cause she heard the actual names once and forgot so opted out to have nicknames for all of them, it still makes me highly concerned for her sanity 😂

I’ll always remember the day when I was thoroughly explaining everything about formula one to my best friend (because I needed someone to obsessively talk to about it t who wasn’t online) and I said off-handedly that Oscar and lando were practically dating. (Just like as a joke)

and then a week later I was talking to her again and I mentioned Oscar’s girlfriend and she was just like “what”. And I was confused until she said: ��You mean lando and Oscar aren’t dating??!!” And I just laughed and sad no and then she got all sad cause she thought they would have made a really cute couple.
