HEESEUNG — one thing about hee is he gives off comforting energy (all of them do tho) movies and cuddles are def he and s/o’s bonding. they would probably watch a super cheesy romcom or a super sad and heartbreaking movie. i feel like chocolates and ice cream will be their go-to snack during their hang outs while s/o is wearing hee’s shirt.

JAY — they will def cook or jay will attempt to teach s/o how to cook. of course, accidents are avoided given that jay is there. but when jay leaves s/o alone for a bit to go to the bathroom or something, he might come back to their dorm’s kitchen in a horrible mess.. jay gives up in teaching s/o but lets be honest, he probably loves her still the same (might be even more than before)

JAKE — i feel like its the same with hee tbh. instead of a super cheesy romcom tho, he and s/o might watch a “kids” movie. like disney binge watching or just their childhood movies. rio might be their go-to or aladdin. i feel like their snacks would be candy, preferably sour. they’ll laugh at each other’s facial reactions randomly as the movie goes because of the sour taste of the candies.

SUNGHOON — feeling like sunghoon and s/o would be binge watching a series. mean girls and legally blonde are def both of their faves. they might argue on which to watch first but they end up on deciding through rock paper scissors. honestly, chips would be their best friend during all of their binge watching life episodes. cheese dust on their fingers are their worst enemy and one of the other would probably lick their fingers while the other would wipe it in a tissue.

SUNOO — for some reason every time i think about sunoo i always think ice cream, skincare, and hair. s/o and sunoo would have a mini salon in the room and sunoo would attempt to cut s/o’s hair to curtain bangs or dora bangs while having a big bowl of ice cream on the table. after their failure of being a barber, they just end up experimenting with sunoo’s skincare because why not.

JUNGWON — you cannot convince me that jungwon and s/o wouldn’t sit together in the living room while wearing each other’s sweater, just cuddling and scrolling on their phones or something. something also tells me they would attempt to bake or cook but unlike jay, they end up in getting the cake/dish burnt. of course they wont give up and try again but like the first one.. it end up horribly wrong.

RIKI — idk bout yall but he def plays genshin. s/o would use a super op healer or buffer like bennett or kokomi and just support and watch him solo the boss with an op dps character like hu tao or ganyu. s/o and him would farm artifacts and stuff together up until their eyes cant take it. they def would fall asleep while fighting a boss and wake up in the morning with their entire team dead.

this is what i meannn bro 😭😭 like i’m tired of the death and the anguish omg i just want them to be at peace!

Thinking about it from his standpoint, though, his franchise became huge. I know he was seeing $$$. So hey, why not make more movies and roll in even more profit right?

me and my younger sister both agreed we love the second movie, but he definitely could’ve left it at Avatar 1. (i’m a sucker for happy endings). That scene he deleted from the first movie where Jake realized Neytiri was pregnant, he could’ve included that and we def could’ve inferred the rest.

And even though that scene wasn’t included, even back then as a child I imagined Jake and Neytiri going on to have a family!

I was really sad to not see more than a few scenes of Jake and Neytiri in twow, especially more scenes of them happy and together as a family before he ripped it apart lol. I can’t handle this heartbreak, avatar twow actually had me laying in my bed at night for 4 nights straight SCARRED. Neteyam’s death was very unexpected. Let’s hope the next major character death is Quaritch 🤭.

For Quaritch, I think the fact that we have waited 13 years since the first movie for this sequel is what made it much easier for the writers to humanize him. I felt they did a good job, focusing on his human form's death in a character-centric manner, and his weakness is his lost humanity: that's why he ended up not wanting his son to be harmed towards the end. He's no longer a cardboard cutout to merely advance the plot, instead we see how he plays the long game here and at times struggles in doing so

When they murdered the Tulkun it was def more harrowing than Hometree being blown up in the first movie, god

How Johnny Cash Ended Up Covering Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Hurt’

This is the story of Johnny Cash's iconic cover of "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails.

By the early ‘90s, Johnny Cash had fallen from grace. He’d spent much of the 1980s increasingly marginalized, chasing trends instead of setting them, and ultimately, Columbia, his record label of 25 years, dropped him. At the same time, he was recovering from a drug addiction relapse and health problems were creeping in. Johnny’s future in the music business was looking bleak.

It was after a show in 1992, where Johnny was approached by a young and hot record producer with an idea to help revitalize his career. Def Jam records co-founder, Rick Rubin, was at that show, and saw a still-vital artist who didn’t deserve an early sunset.

“I said, ‘If you had me on your record label, what would you do that nobody else has done?’” Cash recalled asking Rubin. “And he said, ‘What I would do is sit you in front of a microphone and record any song you want. Just you and the guitar.’ [I said,] ‘You’re talking about a dream I had a long time ago.’”

Back in the early ‘90s, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor rented out a Los Angeles house to write and record a new album. It was the famous house where Sharon Tate and her friends were murdered by the Manson family in the ‘60s. Reznor was not in a good spot emotionally — he was struggling with his new found fame and his sense of identity. To cope with his depression, he wrote a brutal depiction of self-loathing and emotional numbness that began, “I hurt myself today / To see if I still feel.”

Reznor later called the song “a valentine to the sufferer." He sings the verses quiet and intimately, followed by the chorus where it feels like Trent’s releasing all the pain he felt inside of him.

“I’ve always had a sadness and a sense of of abandonment, I think, haunting me and never feeling like I fit in anywhere,” Reznor told Song Exploder. “Always feeling like an outsider. It’s not rational, it just happens often.”

Ultimately, Reznor was flattered a man of Johnny Cash’s stature would consider covering “Hurt,” so he gave the go-ahead.

Johnny’s version ended up more bare-bones. Acoustic guitar, with tasteful touches of organ and piano, which allowed Johnny’s aged and weathered voice to cut through, but it’s clear that age didn’t take anything away from Johnny’s greatness. His weakened voice allowed him to convey emotion in a deeper way, and you believe the wisdom he’s espousing.

“The lyrics have such a profound sense of regret,” Rubin told Lex Fridman. “And to hear, when you’re 20 years old, talking about regret, it’s heartbreaking, but it’s heartbreaking in a different way because you have your whole life to figure it out. When you’re looking back at your life at the end of your life with regret. It’s brutal. It’s brutal.”

What really changed the meaning of “Hurt” and what would lift it to a whole other level was the video. Directed by Mark Romanek, it unfolded like a mini-biography, blending archival footage, home movies, and a performance as strong as the song itself. Aware that he had little time to shoot the video, Mark flew to Tennessee to meet Johnny and found the perfect location — a decaying museum built in Johnny’s honor, the House of Cash Museum. In it, Mark uncovered stacks of old footage. A lightbulb went off when one of the first reels he watched showed a young Johnny riding a train. There was something about the footage of Johnny as a young, vibrant man, cut to him near the end of his life in a weathered old museum, that was undoubtedly powerful.

Three months after the video shoot, Johnny’s wife, June Carter Cash, died. Johnny himself died months later, just under a year after the release of American IV, his album with “Hurt” on it. It would end up being Johnny’s first album to achieve gold status in the U.S. in more than 30 years.

“Hurt” is a prime example of how powerful music can be. What was originally intended to be morose, insecure, and intimate, was a song juxtaposed with a country legend that was beautiful, emotional and introspective. Even though an industrial rock band like Nine Inch Nails penned this dark song that read like a suicide note, it transcended genre to prove that ultimately, the song only deals in one currency… genuine heartfelt emotion.

My thoughts on Rise of the Beasts (spoilers)

Not as good as Bumblebee and was a bit too fast paced in places. But, still about a million times better than the Bay sequels. It’s a perfectly serviceable Transformers movie and, honestly? That’s pretty good for a live action TF movie.

Best part for me were how lively the bots were. The movies are def getting better at writing them like actual characters and not just shoving them to the sidelines for the majority of the run time. I do think the human stuff dragged on for a bit too long at first, but, it’s still a lot better at not taking away most the attention from the bots than most of the Bay films were.

Mirage was hot okay I’m gonna kiss him. And Nightbird actually getting to be in a movie was fucking AWESOME. This also had to have been the most well written Optimus Prime in the movies so far. He’s angry, yes, but this time he’s not threatening to kill humans and he’s still trying his damn hardest to be a good leader. Also, that smile at the end added like 13 more years to my life.

And speaking of the characters expressing, they are SO MUCH more emotive than in the Bay films. (MAJOR SPOILER COMING UP)

Primal having to kill Airrazor was so heartbreaking, largely due to the fact that he was actually showing visible grief while doing it. He didn’t just shoot her and then say something like, “aw man that was my friend. I’m sad.”. The scene actually tried to give the audience a genuine emotional impact.

All in all: This felt like I was watching Transformers. As in, the show/comics. Which is exactly what I asked for, so I can’t really complain too much. I do wish the story had better pacing and that it was as good as Bumblebee, but, compared to most other TF films, it’s pretty enjoyable.

My only major complaint is that they retconned a PERFECT character design for Wheeljack and replaced it with one that looked absolutely nothing like Wheeljack. But, pretty much everyone has already complained about that.

I’m pretty open to honestly most classic literature, i’ve been wanting to get some recommendations that aren’t the same authors. Sylvia plath unfortunately doesn’t really do it for me because I’m probably not her target audience but some of her poems/proses are good! I’m currently reading dracula/frankenstein (at the same time lol) and have been loving it so far. The only con about frankenstein is that i bought a tinier version so the words are huddled together and although my ass CAN read it i’d rather the words to be spaced out :-( not sure if it’s a me thing… i’ll just finish the book and see if i would get another version of frankenstein hehe

We saw the movie “I USed To Be Funny” and “Sam” was the main character so she wasn’t 100% perfect BUT it really makes sense for the plot! It’s not an easy watch since it deals with sensitive topics but it’s not horrible lol Overall she wasn’t a horrible character lol I can only imagine having such shit representation of Sam/Samantha’s! But them both saying that they are TAKEN?!😭 hello?!? Now that is so heartbreaking but kinda heartwarming at the same since they truly own each other's hearts😭 also loved that the MC has Addie! She truly needed her! And Carter is so sweet omg! But now…. dare I say I was so annoyed that yet again Lauren was even remotely near harry! And my man is seriously going out his way to see her?! Like i know he’s reaching because he wants to somewhat be close with the MC BUT IF HE ONLY KNEW THAT LAUREN PLANTED THAT EVIL SEED😭I truly wonder if he ever will find out lol BUT OMG I'M EXCITED TO SEE WHY IS HE BACK IN TOWN??? I saw a post that said having a bf is like having a dumb son 💀 I'm just going to leave that there to resonate with everyone 😭 WE FINISHED THE SEASON THOUGH 🎉 I'm def not a S3 fan but I get what they were trying to do. It was a cool season but I feel like overall the pieces didn't perfectly fit together like in a overarching storyline. My bf and I discussed how many seasons we think it's going to be. I'm very much a proponent of don't ruin a show by doing more just because so I'm hoping that tbh it should only be 4. I think that would wrap up things nicely. But he thinks it'll be 5 (which I COULD let slide) or even 6 (which honestly I'll riot). I can't watch Carmy be a dumbass for three more seasons. So intriguing either way though. Very curious to see where it leads!

I had a great time with my friend on Monday as well! Still lowkey dreading the family stuff but trying to be positive. Gotta pack for a long weekend to stay with them. i feel like i bring my whole wardrobe when I visit in the summer because the weather is so unpredictable and I sweat through 20 outfits a day.

I'm so impressed with everything world-building related to Avatar cause its just so amazing. Very few things capture my attention and heart for as long as Avatar has.

Neteyam is def the most popular in the fandom lol. No other character can compare to the amount of fics there are for him (except maybe Jake). Neteyam is my fav character to write for though. I feel like his personality just comes through really easily in the writing.

It also makes me sad because I struggled with wanting to read noncon for a loooooong time cause of the guilt I felt about it, and it took me a long time to finally understand that liking it isn't bad. I think I want to write something for Austin!elvis. My fic(s) will be based off my interpretation of the movie/movie elvis (not the real one). I have a lot of #feelings and #thoughts about the movie (code for things I’d change/explore more). I’m going back and forth between what “era” in the movie I want to do. Or which to start with if y’all like multiple ideas. One thing about me, I’m gonna ask for feedback. Let me know what stands out. So here are some ideas I’m thinking about. Also I plan on my original characters to be black:

50s: After hitting it big with heartbreak hotel, elvis runs into an old acquaintance and daughter of the preacher that used to live in his hometown. He still feels the scrawny, comic book obsessed boy who used to sneak into her dad’s sermons to hear the choir around oc/reader. A story in which America’s new sex symbol is the seducee and the seemingly sweet preacher’s daughter is the seducer ( feeling extremely inspired by church girl off of Renaissance)

Post Germany/Hollywood era: Thinking she had finally received her big break, oc/reader moves to Los Angeles. Her and Elvis meet then bond over the weird place their careers are in. Emotional cheating (we explore Elvis’s Madonna whore complex)

Hollywood era: Trying to get some good buzz for the 68 special, Steve Binder reaches out to an old friend. Oc/reader is a journalist coming to cover the process/shooting of the special. More emotional cheating. Debating if I want her to be a bit of a whistle blower to how colonel treats Elvis. Also debating if I should give Steve a crush so we can get jealous elvis.

Vegas era: Oc/reader is a backup singer for the shows. Priscilla is sick of being neglected and on her way out; Elvis is spiraling. He starts to fixate on the pretty backup singer that’s nice to him. Toxic!elvis. He mistakes her feeling bad for him/being kind as something more. Oc just wants to make money and get her break (he def dangles helping her with a future solo career in her face)… now she has to deal with a doped up/paranoid/sad elvis yikes.

I’ve heard you think Noah schnapp had a special talent and I def agree like Winona was always the top actor imo but he upstaged her in s2. He does emotional scenes so well and his breakdowns are heartbreaking and believable. Do you have a post on your favorite scenes or breaking down his best performance?

Honestly, I never thought Winona was a good actor, like in general, she’s constantly upstaged by other people, she was upstaged by Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted (and Brittany Murphy), I totally forgot she was in Black Swan because she was forgettable (which is a movie I should rewatch because I hated it when I watched it), forgettable in The Age of Innocence, and in Stranger Things before being upstaged by Noah, she kind of just was on par with everyone, I didn’t think she brought any emotional nuance to her role, she played it pretty flat, but anyway! In terms of actual moments with Noah, that would require me remembering Stranger Things in more detail than I do, hahaha, but I’ll say that when he's given the room to do things, when he has emotional beats, whether it's sad or scared or happy, he crushed it

but I don't know, he hasn't really been doing anything for the past two seasons, he hasn't elevated the small time he's been given either.

Nicholas x Danny

• when or if I started shipping it.

As soon as I first watched the film about three years ago. First though when finishing it 'that was gay af. Def a love story'.

• my thoughts:

God they are the best duo in just about any of the 'buddy cop' genre. And so clearly in love. They play off each other perfectly while forming such a realistic bond. Like I'd like to see any other main duo from the subgenre get on their level.

• What makes me happy about them:

The fact that they bring put the better sides of one another and help each other discover sides of themselves that need to be found most. Danny helps Nicholas switch off from his obsession of his work when he needs it and come down to earth more, while Nicholas helps Danny to become a sharper more aware detective which leads to him realizing how corrupt Sandford actually is when he had been in denial before.

• What makes me sad about them:

The possibility from Nicholas's view that Danny was in on the murders the whole time was kinda sad, but heartbreaking was the possibility that he could have died from the bullet he shielded Nicholas from followed by the explosion at the end of the film. Thankfully he of course survived but the way Nick was crying out his name while kneeling over him. Gahhh.

• things done in art/fic that annoys me:

Not much tbh. Most fans get them down to a T and I have yet to see anything that irked me.

• things I look for in art/fic:

Just funny wholesome things between the two of them. Eating ice cream, watching movies, or the marriage itself. Always fun to see people's takes in that.

• Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: 

Ummm, any one else in the squad that they become close to who would make them happy I guess. They are too much of a perfect fit for each other though so I can barely imagine them being with anyone else.

• My happily ever after for them:

Getting married, continuing to solve important cases together, spending their lives together in the newly reformed Sandford alongside the friends Nick has made and the ones Danny has known, while visiting his mother's grave often, putting flowers there at least once a month. The latter things are pretty much implied in canon with the film's ending.

• what is their favorite non-sexual activity?

Watching buddy cop films while eating cornettos and having drinks.

mildly op (esp at the beginning with how hes kind of able to just use his stand really well w no problems altho i think thats true of most of the jojos that we have seen animated?)

i am emotionally attached to him and want to give him a big hug

hes just a kinda goofy kid and is maybe a bit not good with figuring out hey this is a semi dangerous situation maybe i shouldnt be taunting him (leaky eye luca for example)

has the actual best theme

i love how he works off the rest of the team so well (even w members who do not like him)

Bruno Bucciarati:

the fucking way his character develops from licky man to best dad material is my favorite thing

his outfit is so so so good i would die to wear it

in general this man is one of my fave jojos characters and i get a lot of comfort from him

hes just really neat and has a good taste in music

he did his fucking best and i will always love him for that

imo the way that his death was drawn out was genuinely one of the most heartbreaking deaths in the entire series and fucks me up each time i think of it

i feel like he really is the one to hold the team together in a way that everyone feels cared for and saved

def has a savior complex tho for sure

also fandom take- ppl make him constantly only angry boy all the time and it really irks me. ik araki did not give him 2 much to work w in terms of canon personality but its frustrating

the light novel purple haze feedback is so so so good and adds sm to his character and i really like it for that!

fugo is one of those that imo deserves a lot and didnt get that

genuinely the vibes between how he treats narancia is v interesting to me, like its clear he cares about nara but nara not doing great w math really frustrates him

the jokes towards trish are really really uncomfy and how fugo doesnt wanna be involved but he is pushing him to do something that makes him uncomfortable did not make me like him a lot

hes goofy but not goofy enough for me to be ok with the repeated jokes about that esp in the body swap episode (ik it was supposed to be funny but it just felt off)

his vibes r good but i wish we got to see his hair

the fandom interpretation is normally pretty good of him overall?

despite not loving him a lot, i really enjoying writing for him (one day might open up headcanon requests or smth but unsure)

hes someone id wanna watch movies w but his taste in movies and mine r very different

I more or less watched The Boy!!! And by watching, I mean I skipped more or less through the jump scare parts because I cannot do horror movies at all. I haven’t watched one since 2015 and The Boy was like the first horror movie after five years

Full disclosure, the ONLY reason I started watching the movie was because someone posted a gif of Greta standing close to Brahms who was all sweaty and breathing heavily n I was like “oh shit who dat he hot” and here I am 

Can anyone explain the sandwich scene to me? So Greta was scared shitless and locked herself in her room, but why did Brahms make her favorite sandwich for her?

I did some digging for interviews and generally what people have been saying about the movie, took some screenshots from youtube to put my thoughts and musing together too!

So first of all, let’s start with a low resolution photo I found on IG of James Russell without mask:

which brings me to my first musing/thought/question? 

It’s all under the cut, very screenshot and text heavy, you can find more Brahms drawing at the bottom though  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So at the end of the movie, we are shown a Brahms with a broken mask and his face being burned, indicating that he was in fact in the fire.

I assumed first that the fire was created by the parents to fake their sons death and then he had to live hidden inside the walls? 

But I’ve also heard apparently it was Brahms who set the fire to fake his own death or maybe an eight years old kid really was trying to burn himself down?? 

My other theory is that his parents made the fire and tried to kill Brahms and it did burn him but he survived, and the parents didn’t wanna go to jail sooo to hide everything they made their son live in the walls

i mean the responsible thing would be to turn their kid in and have him treated and stuff;;; listened to a murder podcast about two cases where kids murdered enough kids and how they are doing now interesting read Brahms made me think of those two cases 

I also do not think that the previous nannies were killed. Like, c’mon. You’d report a person missing and sooner or later it would go back to the Heelshire mansion and if the body counts piles up? Can’t look good and I doubt that the Heelshire wants the police investigating them close up. 

Also, when the mom was like “He’s chosen you if you’ll have him” to Greta? Is it just me or the wording or does it sound like a marriage proposal/arrangement xD 

Brahms is a brat and he sees the people around him as his possession or to toy around. But I also do think that he has some abandonment issues but not in the sad tragic kind of way lmao. Even if he was the one controlling and manipulating his parents from behind-the-scene (quite literally I suppose?), he was still told as a kid to live in hiding and that no one can know he is alive. I don’t know much about the human brain, but I can imagine how damaging that must be to his mental growth and set him back in some way? We don’t know too much about his relationship with his parents - but I assume that he must have still loved them in his own twisted way. Can’t imagine that he would have been indifferent about his parents suicide. 

The scene before Greta manages to back out - first he uses the child voice to beg her to come back and promises he will be good. That’s his manipulating Greta, but when that doesn’t work and she tries harder to open the door, he becomes more desperate to keep her there and then completely loses his temper and threatens to kill Malcolm if she doesn’t return. I’m pretty sure homeboy would have killed him anyway. And then later when she returns and he is all heavy breathing and smelling her hair and then jumps up when she shouts Brahms? Idk I def think there is some sort of abandonment issue going on. 

I don’t think he is a child stuck in a man’s body or manchild or whatever. I think that he does know how to take care of himself - but he just chooses to manipulate people with the facade of a kid to do his bidding and cater to his needs. 

Anywhomst, but clearly Brahms is also a very manipulative and controlling person based, based on how the mother was reacting on the destroyed bedroom, she really seemed to be at the end of her wits and just breaking down with her “you promised you’d be good”. It was very heartbreaking to watch and also scary because it really makes you realize just how much power Brahms holds over them?? idk maybe it was just me.

Next point: the CGI mask  + the burns 

So according to some interviews with the director stated that at the first test streaming, people weren’t really scared of Brahms because he was too handsome so they had to slap a mask over his face. The face was done after everything was filmed. I’m thinking the face burns were also added post-production when they were adding the cgi mask. Otherwise, James would have needed to go through the makeup department for some wicked face burns and it would have been visible during the filming and test screening too? Which would imply that at first the fire was supposed to be just  a cover story that their son is dead and it was changed later

Observation/thoughts on Brahms Heelshire

Love how he stands there with his hands behind his back and then nods when Greta tells him to go under the cover

James Russell is 191cm tall. So like. Brahms is really fucking tall. But I notice that most of the time he stands with a slight hunch. Could be due to him crawling through the walls and crawling out of places that requires him to do a lot of crouching. His bed in his hideout made me really sad, I’ll get to it later. 

Since James didn’t get many lines in the ten minutes that he appeared, I do think that his eyes did all the acting. They stand out even more with the mask on, there is just this crazy look on it. I also noticed during my rewatch that he doesn’t seem to blink much or at all. 

Oh yeah, he also peeped on Greta and Malcolm making out on the bed and then cockblocked them. We been knowing that he made a Greta doll and very likely jerked off to it. We also been knowing that he very very very likely wanted to bone Greta at the goodnight kiss scene still waiting for the maskeless kiss scene gimme gimme. I also highly doubt that Brahms has much first-hand experience with kissing n stuff. High key thinking he was trying to do copy Malcolm and do what he observed lmao

When I first watched the scene, I assumed that the hole behind the mirror has always been and it’s just another one of the hidden passages Brahms to slip in and out, but now that I’m looking at the shape of the holes, it seems to me more like the mirror and brick wall were broken at the same time?? If that is the case holy shit boy is s t  r o n g. I mean, he also punched through the closet door like no big deal so really what have the parents been feeding him. 

I’m also leaning toward the fact that he ran there because Greta screamed loudly. I don’t think he was in the room as them when everything went down there, it seemed more like he heard the scream and had to nyoomed over and then punched a way through to get out of the wall. And then went on to attack Cole. He must have known that Greta wanted Cole gone, since that what she whispered to the doll before going to bed. 

Tbh, I fully expected him to murder Cole in his sleep, but Brahms wrote a warning message in blood to tell him to get out soooooo like. Cole you were warned and now you gotta live with the consequences ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Brahm’s sleeping corner

This scene was shown at the end after Greta and Malcolm escaped. We also see them briefly during the part where Greta and Malcolm are trying to find a way out and stumbled into Brahms’ hideout. I’m not sure why the rules are slapped on the walls. It seems to me that Brahms is very very very set on that the rules / routine should be followed. In the movie, he called Greta and suggested to her that she should follow the rules, to which she then started doing it.

I headcanon that that’s the routine that he grew up with as a kid and it’s just very very very very very hard to break out of it - not that he is trying to break the routine. 

I’m failing to find a good way to put my thoughts into words, but I guess the rules and routine is sort of his coping mechanism? 

I suppose if you had an OC that you ship Brahms with and want to change stuff around the house, the OC would have to very slowly introduce new rules and routines. Baby steps, yknow.

Brahms has a violin hanging there! Honestly I would be surprised if Brahms didn’t know how to play at least one instrument. The family also has an old ass piano/clavichord (?) and Brahms loves classical music soo yeah. Love me a boy who appreciates classical musical hehe

I suppose the egg boxes are there to soundproof the room more - maybe so he can play the violin? 

There’s also music sheets hung around his attics, it’s not clear on the screenshots but when you rewatch the scene and shove your face close to the screen. Some are hanging next to the violin and there are some taped on the wall next to his bed and porn too

nice to see he has a fridge and microwave, I was concerned that he wasn’t well fed and that leftovers might not be enough, but then again. Dude is 191 cm so clearly he has been drinking his milk

Didn’t take a screenshot of his vanity, but there is a crocodile magnet stuck to the mirror hehe. I do think that he shaves and stuff, otherwise his beard would be much longer??

Loving the christmas lights that he has hanging there above his bed. It’s cute. 

On the shelf he has a bunch of tupperware and empty bowls. Most of hte things are neatly organized. We can also see some books and a pen

Here we can see more of the food that he has there - there is also a sink but I didn’t snatch a screenshot of it. I think those are potatoes in the pot? Maybe he does know how to cook some basic stuff, I do wonder if he has a functioning kitchen up there. Probably not for fire safety reasons lol

Yes, we all know what he was doing with the doll and what the tissue balled up tissue implies. However, has anyone noticed the size of the bed??? 

If you scroll up a bit to the screenshot of Greta seeing the doll, it looks t i n y. The make shift doll takes up more than half of the space.

Even though Brahms strikes me as someone who probably doesn’t sleep much or during normal times, that bed must be so tiny for him. He must be sleeping with his knees bend and shit unable to stretch out :((( 

Brahms: is a psychopath that smashed the skull of a girl and very abusive tormented his parents and then Greta Me: omg he needs a bigger bed that poor thing :(((

Also at the end where we see him fixing up the doll, we can get a better shot at his desk, and I gotta say the threads and stuff are all very nicely organized. Brahms’s table looks more organized than mine does lmao. 

So we know he is a crafty boy. Not sure how difficult taxidermy is but I imagine it does take a lot of time to learn? Well he had all the time in the world anyway.
