the west wing is the best show ever because you wouldn’t expect to come out of a hard-hitting, critically acclaimed political drama with the ultimate found family trope, right? and yet the president is a complete nerd, his wife is scary and the top in their relationship, the president and his chief of staff are Dad 1 and Dad 2, the deputy chief of staff and his assistant are in a years-long emotional affair and everyone knows it but them, the communications director is grumpy as hell and you love him so much, the press secretary is tall, hot and awesome, the deputy communications officer is the gay son and the president’s aide is the human personification of a pleasure to have in class. and they’re all family and love each other very much :)

“Ah, but it’s never quite that simple, is it?” The goddess smiled at her. “There are many stories your parents never told you. Leo Valdez… he understands destiny. He knows to be wary of the Moirai better than most. He challenged them once, you know. Cut strings rewoven into a beautiful tapestry.” She sounded fond when she spoke. “I’ve never known which one of them was braver or more foolish in their approach. The boy who followed the strings that were woven for him unflinching, or the boy who looked at the Fates and refused them.”

“I’m not scared,” Sofía told Juno, head held high and hand on the gladius she’d carried on her belt since she was seven. “I want to find my place in the world. I want to go on adventures and help people, like my parents did. I don’t mind having a destiny.”

Asking about the Constellation AU, what powers does Libra have? A little of each from each of her parents? Does she have a Piko-Piko weapon like Amy? Will she grow up to be the new fastest thing alive? AGH I’M PLAGUED WITH CURIOSITY

The kiddos are adopted, technically. So no inherited powers for them.

Also to answer the question about the weapon, Libra has something similar to Piko-piko hammer. It’s a Celestial Stuff, gifted to her by her mothers! (I might draw it later separately with Libra’s super form). She can summon it at any time. Anyone can wield it, unlike Amy’s weapon, but Libra is the most profound with it. Shadow and Blaze together were her teachers at using it.

Leo’s power btw is talking to ghosts, to put it bluntly. In this AU, people are turning into a star or star dust after dying. While they are chilling there in the state of nonexisting, Leo posses the power to call out to them: see them, talk to them and (once he gets stronger) even make other people see the souls. Here he’s talking to Maria, for example)

And omg, as I was drawing these two, I realised just how much they look like Sonic and Tails ! Sonic would adore the shit out of his son, reminded of the time he was raising Tails) It’s only gets worse cause Leo is really close with his uncle, and turns out to be more and more like Tails with every day!

Introducing my own TMNT iteration! I designed them well over a year ago (the small images are the originals) and haven't drawn them until now so I've never shared them here before... but better late than never. Here are the boys!

I did take some inspiration from 2012, Rise, and 03, but tried to make them my own. They are Western Painted Turtles because I wanted some fancy designs for their shells. I'm still developing their story so I don't have much to share in that aspect yet, but the sibling dynamics are Donnie as the eldest, the twins are Raph (older) and Leo (younger), and Mikey the youngest. See their height chart below:
