Been playing a bunch of spiritfarer lately and yesterday I was a bit stumped bc I need a material for a ship upgrade I haven't seen before and I have no idea how to get it. (Still got some other quests to do, so I'm not stuck or anything, but the quests for the new area are starting to come in)

... and then while I was brushing my teeth and got ready for bed I remembered there is another building I haven't built yet on the ship, so maybe that's how I get the material? But most likely I'll only get to play and find out tomorrow evening and it's killing me, I need to know, aaahh

yesterday 🍬 spent like an hour trying to work on one drawing and figure out what the hell he's doing with it and nothing seemed to look right, meanwhile today he's just kind of gone "fuck it I'm gonna play around and improvise and see what happens" and it immediately looked way better than anything he managed yesterday.

also though we've been experimenting a lot with the styles we use and the stuff we draw and it's been really fun. I feel like that's kind of been a theme for our art this year just in general, but Art Fight has kind of amplified that

A Linked Universe meets The Dark Crystal AU! I don't even remember what started it at this point. I remembered that the Dark Crystal and Age of Resistance are things I like, blinked, and woke up three days later with an AU and a bunch of art.

The designs and the story are a wip and for fun so expect a lot of variation! (I have a few different beginnings, ideas for different designs, etc)! :D
