1. ELI

eli decides to take a leap of faith. he's not sure what to expect, but he's witnessed warren and sally's situation. he doesn't want his own love life to be a repeat 🫠

now that he's more sure of himself, more sure that he's allowed to feel someone's affections, he wants to know if his aimless pining for you really is aimless.

i think he'd confess to you in hostel's living room 🫡 (where warren + sally kissed) a simple but special place for him. it's where eli spends time with his family, and he wants you to be a part of that too.

he gets a pep talk from warren and sally first ofc! since they ended up together after all that tension, they remind him of their own experiences. warren would defo say something like: take it from me, gangdong's mighty...and romantic.

the gist of their speech is that: it'll be awkward, but better than waiting three years to properly confess. just be honest - if you don't try, you'll never know.

─ and if you get rejected? i'll be here with popcorn.

eli's daughter is the most important thing in the world - she's changed him for the better. so, seeing yenna so happy with you has made his heart flutter. (didn't mean for that to rhyme lmfaooo)

his feelings for you go beyond romantic attraction. it's also how well you've fit into his life, how it feels like you're meant to be there. bringing someone into his family's world is a big deal for him - but it would make him so happy to have you in it.

not that he doesn't love being a dad - he clearly does! but eli's life has been centered around taking care of yenna, handling hostel's issues, working hard to make ends meet...he's never really thought about who he is outside of that.

with you, eli feels like he can explore life more freely. he feels appreciated - maybe even a little carefree in a way that’s new for him. with you, even though the pressures and responsibilities are still there, he feels lighter. he remembers he has dreams and aspirations like anyone else. for the first time in ages, he feels like he can be just eli.

he hasn't properly liked anyone since heather - and even that's slightly different. this time, he actually knows what he's feeling. and if there's even a slight chance you'd want to be with him, he would do everything he can to make you happy - just as much as you make him.

eli acknowledges that it's a lot to ask, having a child in the picture. still, should that always prevent him from pursuing a relationship? if he gets that privilege, he would only want you. you would give him (and yenna) so much joy.

2. JAKE

this man is filled with such angst and anguish 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

BTW - i think by this point, you'll know his job + past actions. you were unnerved when he admitted it...but jake has faced the repercussions (partly). he still has interests and hobbies like everyone else, he's still good company. you can't bring yourself to fully judge him, because you've never been in that position.

jake wasn't going to say anything. it's less messy, less selfish, if he keeps his feelings to himself.

that doesn't stop you from occupying his head though. he can't help but wonder what you're doing. are you safe? are you happy? if not, could he make you happy? ...possibly?

still, he pushes these thoughts away.

it's only when members of big deal notice his spacing out and lapses in concentration that he thinks: okay...i should probably do something.

he'd rather hear your rejection than keep wondering if there's a chance...+ to not have you (unknowingly) interfere with his duties.

first things first though, he needs some advice.

he'd totallyyy go to sinu. i can picture it so clearly 😂 jake is a smooth talker, but he's never actually liked someone. he can't talk his way though this. (he can try, but he'd fail miserably)

sinu would be so chuffed that his (practically) little brother is coming to him for relationship advice. (i never thought i'd see the day...you're all grown up. and he wipes a tear 😭) given jake's lack of interest in dating, he's pleasantly surprised at his change of heart! you must have had a big impact on him.

jake asks if sinu felt guilty liking yeonhui, considering his role in big deal. he was perceived as a gang leader back then...did sinu ever feel like she deserves better than that?

sinu gets nostalgic and starts reminiscing about his relationship 😅 jake zones out halfway through, wondering why he even bothered to ask in the first place.

EVENTUALLY THOUGH, he reels it back in and gets #serious 🙂‍↕️ something like: how long will you let your role and past define you?

the gist of sinu's speech: sure, jake has done bad things. (...worst than most people) but he shouldn't let that hold him back. jake can still try be something better, he's not some heartless monster. there's no harm in being honest, he'll never know what could happen.

jake is gobsmacked... a man of passion indeed.

i think he'd confess to you at the sea side! (where samuel found out who jake's dad was) he'd rather watch the waves than your confused face.

he tells big deal to stay away from that area, because he has important business there. (jake knows they'd be spying from a distance if he didn't 😭)

i think he'd practice in the mirror beforehand...but it does nothing to settle his nerves (-.-)

jake likes you. he knows it's unexpected and out of the blue, but he has to tell you.

you don't realise how amazing you are, how smart, how caring. it's the little things...helping jerry with his homework (god knows no one else can) or paying for your meals even though it's not necessary - he'll always let you eat for free. + plus the food is lowkey shit anyway <3

...or how well you get along with the girls. (they constantly tell him to ask you out 😪)

he knows he's not worthy. there's people who can easily give you their undivided attention. you deserve only the best...and he's the furthest thing from that. but he wishes he could be.

he doesn't want you to think he's the same person as before. you deserve someone way better than an ex-convict. jake wishes he could change the past - so badly. he regrets not trying harder for a better solution back then, just for the opportunity to take you on a date...to be with you.

jake wants to be the best version of himself. you make him think that being a better person could change some of his past...and eventually make him worthy of someone like you.

and if there's even a sliver of hope you feel the same way, that you'd give him the honour of being his first...everything, he'll do everything in his power to be a boyfriend you can be proud of.

he doesn't need you to say anything, jake would never pressure you for a yes or no. he just needed to say the truth, to be honest with you - and himself.

there's a lot to consider. sometimes you'd never see jake, he'll be in danger a lot, and if he really had to - he'd be ruthless again to protect big deal. he knows that too.

even so, he's pouring his heart out, trying so hard for you...and you don't even think you're that great, to be honest.

you find your cheeks flushing at his words, and the earnest way in which he utters them.

3. JOHAN

johan...i found him hard to write. i don't like this little mouse.

if you like someone, you should probably tell them. johan would rather die. but eventually, not saying anything has gotten more painful than the prospect of confessing.

he hasn't liked anyone since mira and that feels like...a lifetime ago. so, he (very reluctantly) goes to zack for help.

zack would be sooo annoying about it, he'll never let him live it down. johan seong coming to him for dating advice...another indicator that their worlds are healing ❤️ he shuts up though when johan threatens to beat his ass.

i think zack would give the same bs advice he gave to vasco in the blind date arc 😭😭

johan starts by talking about the little things, like how his dogs are always happy when they see you. eden and miro get so jumpy and excited when you come over, as if they can sense how much he cares about you. it's something he can speak about easily - they're a big part of his life.

and his mom - johan's mom is so important to him. her approval means a lot…and she definitely approves (of you). she really likes you, especially after that dinner at his house. his mom is his rock in so many ways, the fact that she sees what he sees, means the world to him.

johan hid behind a stoic facade for so long. he's grateful to zack and mira for showing him that having feelings for someone…it can be a beautiful thing. with you, he feels more okay stepping out of that shell. maybe it's the way you always listen when he talks…or how you're there for him without making a big deal out of it…or how you celebrate the small things with him. (aka…barely passing english)

the professions are still foreign to him. it’s not just about liking you, it’s about the vulnerability that comes with it. he’s afraid of how this might change things between you two. but, johan knows hiding it would only make things worse. he can’t keep pretending like nothing’s there. it’s been weighing on him for so long.

still, he’s ready to face that fear of vulnerability, to show you all the sides to him. he’s letting you in — not just with his feelings for you, but with his whole self, all the things he’s kept locked away. for johan, that’s a huge deal.

The soft glow of evening light filled the room as you and Satoru Gojo prepared for your nightly skincare routine. The two of you had developed a routine of winding down together. There was something so peaceful in the simple act of taking care of your skin. Tonight, however, you decided to make it a special occasion.

Gojo standing inside the restroom, waiting for you to join him. As you entered the room with a tray of skincare products, his eyes lit up with a glint.

"Ah, my favorite part of the day," Gojo grinned, his white hair falling softly over his eyes.

You chuckled, walking next to him. "Well, tonight's going to be even better. I got some new products we can try together."

Gojo raised an eyebrow curiously. "New products? You spoil me, babe."

The two of you began unpacking the tray, revealing an array of serums, masks, and creams. Gojo watched with curiosity as you explained each product and its benefits.

"Okay, first up is the cleansing oil," you said, pouring a small amount into your palm. "It'll help remove any impurities and makeup."

Gojo followed your lead, applying the oil to his face. The sensation was new to him, but he trusted you implicitly. As you both massaged the cleansing oil into your skin, you laughed at his adorable antics.

Finally, you handed him a jade roller. "This is the finishing touch, love. It helps with circulation and reduces puffiness."

Gojo rolled the jade over his face, relishing the cool sensation. You did the same, and for a moment, the room was filled with serene silence as you both enjoyed the simple pleasure of the skincare ritual.

he just lives for the cute type of romance he has watched in dramas so many times before. he's not one to completely romanticise everything all the time, but he does see his perspective of life change when he has you by his side. he has a newfound appreciation for life that he didn't think he would ever be able to obtain.

he's a very good listener and prides himself in that. he understands that at times you would like to hear his thoughts and opinions, perhaps offering you some advice with a situation you're struggling in. but he also knows that sometimes you don't want any advice, you just want to vent to him, and he's fine sitting back and listening to you, providing support just by being there.

in the first couple of months, he might be too shy to initiate much physical touch, so if you are that type of person i think it'll be wise to either initiate it at first or, when he does give you light touches here and there, you encourage and reassure that it's okay and that you like it.

all he needs is little pieces of encouragement and affirmation that he's doing okay, and then he slowly but surely becomes confident in his relationship with you.

and when he becomes more comfortable he initiates more physical affection. he is especially fond of cuddles and surprisingly likes being the small spoon a lot despite his tall stature. there's something about being held by you that makes his heart flutter.

lunch-break dates - this includes activities like grabbing a coffee or a beat to it, or going for a walk with him. but be warned because those long legs of his do big and mighty strides so you'll have to tell him to walk a bit slower if you have little legs like i do 💀 the struggle is real.

board games - he likes things that people might not expect. obviously video games are fun but he feels board games are a great way to bond with anyone and actually involve you interacting with each other instead of staring at the screen. but he can be surprisingly competitive depending on the game so keep an eye out for that!

overall, he's a very soft boy and needs to be appreciated and loved always

The Endwalker Scion visit scene but instead of a Scion, Lillian gets Lolorito (Not a fic. Just copious amounts of outline notes that have a 99.9% chance of being written into The Fic because I like it so much)

Context:

In her lore the downtime between Mare and the beginning of the Final Days is quite a bit longer; long enough for everyone to set about rebuilding, reconstruction, or homecoming; forces pull back to their homes to lay down swords and find new purpose, Alisaie/Alphinaud mark out their road to assist Garlemald, etc.

During this in-between the Scion night visit happens in tandem with the dinner scene, and all the Scions are together but Lillian is absent, having locked herself in her Andron quarters for "X" amount of time and the Scions are torn on if they want her present in the first.

Per events in Garlemald, Alisaie, Alphinaud, and Y'shtola are rightly disgusted with her actions - and themselves, guilty over believing the Scions' part played in cultivating her behaviors; the necessity of the Warrior of Light in combatting primals, Ascians, and other world-threatening foes. Relentless in action, vengeful against oppressors: qualities left unchecked and deep down, appreciated, have now reaped senseless death and destruction in the empire eating itself alive from lack of purpose - and would be happier with Lillian not being there. The rest think it not right to have not at least extended an invitation, with Thancred and G'raha being more... (Understanding?) what with Thancred having experienced his own tumult of emotions where Ryne was concerned, and G'raha having literal centuries of amassed wisdom about trauma and other such psychology shapers. They eventually try to retrieve her, but she's already gone.

But Lolorito, the Monetarist, who repaid the loss of G'raha back during the events of the Crystal Tower to Sharlayan (by extension teaching Lillian some major lessons in politics and power) and now kicks his feet up there, ostensibly present to observe the new Sharlayan aetheryte tech and how it might impact his earnings from that sector (and definitely not going full "2012" because his informers caught wind of the Ragnarok thereby allowing an opportunity to weasel his way into buying a seat in exchange for secretly funding their project, which was looking mighty promising, what with the apocalypse literally moments from being brought about via Fandaniel) is in the perfect position to settle an old agreement made between the events of Heavensward and Stormblood. So, he gets to her first.

When the world was quiet for the first time in an age, he would ask Lillian again as he did back then if she wanted to join his business as envoy, bodyguard, and whatever else he needed in his plans to expand into Meracydia and Tural.

She doesn't accept, of course, but he wonders how long it'll be until she comes to terms with the fact that their world may have no great need of her again, and so must find a new purpose. Until then, he'll keep the position open.

Dating Liter HCs

Liter deserves some love. Best burst 1, wholesome grandma, and dog. What's not to like?

》 Despite her looks, Liter is old. Possibly multiple times your age old. She's seen many people come and go, whether they die in battle or other reasons, Liter is painfully aware of both of your mortality, even as a Nikke, she knows she know won't be around forever and wants to make every second she has count.

》 If you have any free time, Liter may try and take you to work or the workshop with her. It doesn't seem like much at the time, but she really does enjoy spending that quality time together. If she is able to teach you a few things, build something with you, or even just have fun messing with her tools, that's one more positive memory for her to cherish.

》 They are few and far between, but even Liter has days where she just wants to rest and take it easy. She can still be stubborn about it, though. Sometimes, she'll need some convincing to take a break, but at the end of the day, she still knows her own limits. These days can include anything from long walks through the park with Bolt or just lazing around the house with the small Nikke. Just try to keep her away from BOOM. At least she's handy enough to fix whatever ends up broken..

》 Legacy is very important to Liter, something she had to learn the hard way. While she won't actively drag you around and force you to make a name for yourself... she highly encourages it. She used to not care about the future, but she learned from that mistake and will make damn sure you don't fall into the same trap. Even if it's something small like helping Mighty Tools put up a building or even just supporting the community, Liter wants you to live a good life that will be remembered by those around you. She has all this experience with construction, so using it to make memories from time to time isn't a waste in her eyes.

》 If you're with Liter, you're going to be seeing a lot of Bolt. You can't complain though. He's a good boy. Sometimes Liter has to work long hours, and Bolt can get lonely. It'll be up to you to keep him company, which isn't all bad. He may be a robot but he's just like a real dog. Just take good care of him. Both Liter and Bolt will appreciate it.

》 Having a Liter around can definitely save you money on a lot of things around the house.

》 She's definitely more old-fashioned than most. While going on dates, or just in day to day life, she'll try to open doors for you or even pull out chairs. It can be quite embarrassing, but it's probably just best to let it ride and let her have it, as it reminds her that she's still a human at the end of the day. Maybe not physically, but mentally. Small gestures like that only remind her of that fact.

》 Liter can have doubts, being a Nikke and all. With all the nikkephobes around, it can get to her. Make sure she knows you don't mind it and you value your relationship with her. She may not show that it gets to her, but she still has bad days. Make sure she knows how much you value her!

》 Good chance you will get some weird looks while going out with her. Liter can feel insecure at times, not being able to grow since she's a Nikke, so again, reaffirm her. Just try not to comment on the entire bakery she has in public.

》 At the end of the day, Liter definitely reminds you of a grandma at times. With how she can hover over your shoulder or lecture you to no end, it's out of love. She wants what's best for you and will put her foot down. Past that she loves the quality time you two spend together and will treasure every second, so make it count. With Liter by your side, there's a good chance you will be ready when your time comes, just as she will be.

Zuma Appreciation Week - Day 5 (Skipping day 4 because it'll be posted later some other day), Favorite Outfit

Okay, THIS ONE I won't make art for it because I need to focus my still very limited time of using my laptop for other urgent commissions (got another tattoo to draw for and a whole wedding card to design!). Too bad I couldn't buy my second laptop earlier, it won't be here until the 18th and that's just the ETA, it might be delivered later (or sooner, hopefully).

I also don't have a favorite Zuma outfit. I swear I went through the entire list like seven times since when I first came up with the prompts ideas and I still can't pick...

So I'll make a top 5. No specific order.

Ready Race Rescue racing suit is of course one of my favorites. I always loved racing sports, I'm not an expert but I enjoy it and have fun watching. I still need to get the chance that Brazilian Paramount FINALLY put this special up in their list, to finally watch it in the Brazilian Portuguese dub - and have my dad watch it too, I got my love for racing sports from him XD

The First Movie outfit is really cool in my eyes too. It doesn't go too far from the classic one, but still has that cool factor, y'know? Plus I love glowy/neon lines, it totally won me over instantly.

With that mentioned, I can't go about glowy lines without including the Mighty Movie powered up suit! FOR ME, THIS IS LIKE GIVING ME A WHOLE SEASONED SALAD BOWL, I'll eat it up like it's the most delicious thing in the world-- This glowy suit feeds my glowy-lover soul, excellent feast 😂👌🏽

And they managed to work ORANGE glow, it's so easy to go a tiny bit overboard and it suddenly becomes red or yellow... Trust me, it's hard to get a good orange glow on things!

Can't leave the Aqua Pups diving suit out of this top 5 ever either, for the same reason!! It has the absolute glow-in-the-dark vibe I love so much, I really wish we'd get to see more of Aqua Pups. It felt like a step further from Sea Patrol, now going fully underwater deep ocean, AND GLOWY SUITS LIKE THEY'RE SOME KIND OF BIOLUMINESCENT CREATURES, I LOVE IT--

And finally, Big Truck Pups! I love their trucker uniforms SO MUCH. They're simple, yet with a nice cool factor, the jackets look awesome, all their colors going really well with the black shirts and gloves, plus the trucker caps! When I get to work on my Zuma looks, one of them will totally be inspired on his trucker outfit and I'll make sure to get a cap and customize it like his trucker one (I want the Sea Patrol cap too). Nickelodeon is totally missing on offering these caps as official products, I'd make sure to buy originals no matter HOW if they would just do that.

AND LAST AS AN HONORABLE MENTION: First movie re-imagined classic outfit!

Not gonna lie, I like it better than the show's classic one XD It's technically the same, but a little bit more worked/detailed, which I like it a lot. I like getting to see details on things!

I honestly think it's a combination! Like definitely more high pitched normally, but it has variance. It's a back-of-the-throat kind of noise, but it's alien, you know? So it sounds like crickets, it might sound like a cat when he's conscious of the sound, but it's not really something we've heard before, y'know? I went with crickets specifically because I thought having him sound like a bird or a mrrping cat was too...idk, normal? And I want him to be abnormal in some senses.

I hope TriStamp goes full angel-Vash mode man. I think it'll be SO cool if they do that!!

If one were to look at neteyam sully, as he talks to himself, people would think he is out of it. Or he could be talking through an earpiece but no. If you look carefully, there is something small sitting or standing on neteyam's shoulder or laying on top of his head.

What is the tiny thing?

Why that would be none other than Tsyeytsyip, or Tey for short. Tey is a small tiny human, smaller than a new born, smaller than anything tiny in the world of pandora. How she became like this is unknown, since she was born from a long line of small humans back on Earth, and the RDA hired her parents to work with them in working the smaller stuff.

But that was a long time ago. Now tey lives her best life in the massive giant world of pandora and the creature that inhabit the planet. Well as best as she can. Literally anything can kill her. Tey has a higher chance of being crushed by something than an average size human.

Which is why neteyam, even though no one asked him, has decided he would protect little bite. Every since they met, neteyam has been nothing but a tease to little bite.

You see, despite being so tiny, Tey has a bite, and she isn't afraid who to bite. Many will flinch from the sharp pain and leave her alone. But neteyam? he just laughs.

That is the thing with neteyam. He adores his good friend little bite, she is sweet, kind, yet oh so tiny. Neteyam cant help but tease his cute little friend. Yes, she will try to bite his finger off but he cant help it! She is too cute! So whenever they are together, neteyam wont let the day end without some cute reaction from little bite.

"neteyam for the last time GET YOUR STINKY ASS FOOT AWAY FROM ME!" little bite screamed at the top of her lungs. Angry and cant be taken seriously. little bite was glaring up at neteyam, who was having a fit of laughter.

"hahaha! I'm sorry tey, I cant help it" neteyam grins happily. Playfully, he would pretend to almost step on little bite and would feel a small poke or prick on her "little weapon". A toothpick.

"cant help my tiny ass! you do this to me all the time!! Using your big blue giant FEET to scare me! and if is not you trying to step on me, it would be your sharp teeth or your massive hands!" little bite huffs out. Neteyam grins as he picks up little bite onto his hand.

"You know I am only playing with you little bite, its just my way of teasing you. I would never hurt you, you're my cute little human" neteyam says while smiling innocently.

Being careful, he strokes little bite's cute face with adoration. Little bite blushed seeing how genuine neteyam is being. Placing her small hands on his finger, feeling his cool body temperature. Leaning her head on his finger, enjoying neteyam's 'embrace'.

"Well...try to tone it down. Every time you scare me, I feel as though my heart will explode" little bites says. She should be used to neteyam's tactics by now, but its hard when it looks like every movement will end her.

"I wont have that, your tiny heart is meant to beat for me" the giant blue boy smirks handsomely. Revealing his sharp fangs with the sunlight reflecting. Slightly pouting, little bite says "no, my heart beats for me to be alive". Neteyam chuckles, his vibrations sends little bite's mind wild. Why must neteyam be so good looking?

"if you are done laughing, I am starving! lets get a snack or something to eat" little bite says while rubbing her hands. "you are always hungry" neteyam comments. Placing her hands on her hips she looks up at him, "I am tiny, so my energy quickly goes down". Rolling his eyes, neteyam places little bite on his shoulder as he searches for some berries.

"during the mean time, we should also make new clothing for you" neteyam says. Little bite looks down at her outfits and it is starting to show wear and tear. Materials made for her outfits are not always the best materials to make clothes out of. Using grass, dried leaves, or scales of an animal.

"Bit tricky to find lasting items to make clothes out of" little bite replies. Finding a berry vine, neteyam gives little bite a single berry which looks like a large ball in her hands. "YES!" she shouts happily and munches away the juicy berry.

Neteyam sits down and collects some grass to make something while little bite eats. A comfortable silence was there between them.

It was like that for a while, when little bite was full she rubbed her belly in satisfaction. "phew! those were good berries" she says happily. "I can tell, your face is covered in berry juice" neteyam chuckles. Little bite touched her face, feeling the stickiness of the berry juice. "Can you take me to the pond near by?" she asks. Neteyam nods and carries her in his hand, being careful as usual. Reaching there, he gently puts her down. "Going to take a quick wash!" little bite says and goes to the stones that makes a tiny cave.

Neteyam nods and looks at the little waterfall. It is his favorite place. It is where his father taught him how to fish, relax, play around, and where he met his tiny friend. A special place he holds dear to his heart.

"When you are done, wear this" he places a tiny item near the little cave for little bite to take. He didn't had to wait long, Little bite came out from the rocks and fresh and clean and wearing the new outfit he made for her.

"Huh, this is very nice comfortable" little bite admires her new outfits. It was made with the petals of her favorite flower, the woven ends design as a flowy dress with its colors complementing her skin. Tied neatly with the flower vine and The texture of the petals are so soft and light, its easy for little bite to move around. Truly the best outfit she has had so far.

"Do you like it?" neteyam asks, a bit nervous and anxious to hear her response. Smiling happily, her bright eyes looking up at him, " I LOVE it! its perfect!" her bell like laughs rings in his ears, a pleasant sound he enjoys hearing. Little bite gives a twirl for him, the dress flowing lightly, giving her a soft look.

"I am glad you like it" neteyam replies. He lays down, letting the warmth of the son cover him like a blanket. Little bite climbs on top of him. Looking like a mountain in her eyes. She goes to his right eye and gently poke his eye lid. "Neteyam? are you gonna take a nap?" she asks. Neteyam smirks, "yeah, the sun feels good right now, we can head back later".

Little bite agrees and decides to lay on his nose as her napping spot. Since she hardly weight a thing, it wont cut off the air circulation for her blue friend. Letting sleepiness take over, both get a comfortable and sleep away through the warm afternoon sun.

Could you do some comfort headcanons for Bandō and Yata with their s/o and Mikoto with a friend (if possible). Something happened to them that really upset them and they went to their room to cry and suddenly their body started cramping all over, worse than usual and it ended with them having a seizure. It was so scary because they had no control so anything would be much appreciated.

I also hope that you’re doing much better than when you were hospitalised and wish you all the best and hope that you can take it easy with work.

Okay, but this took stupidly long to get out to you and I feel horrible about that. I'm glad you're doing better now but I apologize for not getting this out sooner, where it was a comfort request. I hope you'll enjoy the headcanons still, even delayed!

Yata

Okay, but the fact that his partner was that upset was definitely noticed by Yata and he would have been so on top of the situation, trying to defuse it and probably honestly making it worse for his partner by adding additional tension and drama without even realizing he was doing so.

He notices the second his partner boots it out of the room, obviously miserable and his first instinct is going to be to go after them, even if he's a couple moments behind. If they've told him before that they need some alone time to get themselves together after a stressful situation, he'd still follow and just grumpily and moodily stand guard and wait for them in the hall or outside their door until they were ready to talk to him again but he's definitely either in that room or close by and he's mighty fucking pissed off that anyone made his partner cry.

When their crying became sounds of pain as they started cramping and went into a seizure, even if limits were imposed that Yata should give them some alone time, he is flying into that room because the boy is angry and now worried and he does not sit still well in that situation. Seeing his partner in the throes of a seizure really, really scares him and he freaks out, trying to figure out how to help them, maybe trying to grab or hold them and potentially making things worse. It'll take a minute and then he'll have enough sense of mind to scream for help if there are other people around or he'll grab his phone and call for an ambulance, something, anything to help his partner.

He definitely will blame and want to do severe bodily harm to the person who made his partner upset to the point that they got into that state and he's never going to forgive that person, even if they were someone important or close to his partner. That person is now on Yata's shit list for life and he's going to do everything he can to get his partner away from that person, even if it comes plain out to him putting his foot down and being like 'no, they treat you bad, they make you angry and stressed, you're not going to be around them anymore, not while I'm around'.

Bandou

Bandou, on the other hand, is not going to be as in the situation as Yata would be. He definitely doesn't like seeing his partner upset and he is feeling pissed off and protective of them but aside from sarcastic and rude comments, he is going to let his partner handle the situation for themselves, unless they ask for his help. He does notice they're upset and he is pissed about it but he doesn't want to overstep, especially if he knows the other person who is upsetting his partner is important in some way to his partner.

Now when his partner did finally have too much and needed to get away, Bandou would see if they want him to come with them, talk to him or even just kind of cuddle to feel better. If his partner asked for some space, even just for a couple of minutes, because they needed some time to themselves, I can't see Bandou just standing around waiting for them, especially if the person he blamed for his partner's unhappiness was still around. He'd ask if they wanted any of their favourite treats or maybe some take out or something from the local convenience store so that he could give them the time they wanted and still feel like he was really helping out.

So I can't really see him being actively there when they start cramping. He walks into the room to either actively see them in the throes of a seizure or just coming out of it and he has no fucking idea what is happening and oh my god, are they dying? It's so frigging scary and he can't think and oh my god, what is happening?!!? However, Bandou goes into autopilot in really stressful situations and he's going for help if he knows that other person there knows more about his partner and what might be happening. He's moving so damn fast and doesn't even bother wasting time with words, he's just grabbing and forcibly dragging that person to come help. He definitely would insist on going with his partner to the hospital after it all happens and he wouldn't leave that hospital unless his partner absolutely forced him to.

Mikoto

Okay, I'm going to get dragged for this one so much but I personally do not headcanon Mikoto as really visiting his friends at their places overly often, if at all. Normally they meet up out and about, in public places, or his friends see him at the bar. He's not just popping by their places if he can help it, mostly because it's uncomfortable for him but also because…well, Mikoto does have a reputation and he doesn't want to cause any issues for his friends with their neighbours or families.

So I can't really see Mikoto being around for the actual argument, for his friend going to their room to cry, or for the cramping and the eventual seizure. I think he'd find out about this after the fact, when he learns his friend is in the hospital. He's going to visit them in the hospital and that's when he'll find out what happened. He's going to just kind of sit there and stoically listen, standard Mikoto. He'll ask plain out if there's anything they want him to do for them or anything he can do to help them but if they don't ask for anything, he won't step in. He trusts his friends are capable of helping themselves.

The other members of HOMRA, probably knowing Mikoto's friends, will probably make sure that his friend has no shortage of hospital visitors and that they feel better and happier by the time they're discharged.

Describe your writing process from idea to posting/publishing

I really have to have had time to unwind in some way (either a couple hours after a nature walk or just being cozy and unbothered at home) so my mind can function. I usually have some sort of ambient music or sounds playing to immerse myself in the type of mood I'm envisioning or want to explore.

I then proceed to word vomit until the idea runs dry, usually look over it again and revise within the next day or two (if I can--sometimes it'll sit there for a month), then post.

On the publishing front...I could really use a support system on that one.

Are you a plotter or a pantser?

100% pantser.

What do you listen to when you are writing?

Ambient sounds predominantly!

What’s your drink of choice(while writing)?

Coffee, water, or tea.

It really depends on the day.

Oh, I don't know. I think different fics appeal to different tastes, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go with The Fires of Eventide (Elain x Lucien) or Another Kind of Madness (OC Inquisitor x Cullen).

The latter's just a conversation between the Inquisitor and Varric--Cullen's not even actively in it. It was a comforting piece to write. I might dare to admit I've put a bit too much of myself into Mira (my character) in general.

Is the latter underrated? Probably not, but especially being late to the fandom, I've really enjoyed and appreciated this small but mighty group of ladies who've been so supportive and have taken the time to read it.

Do you have any advice for new writers?

Always be willing to experiment, try new things, and grow. Let the story guide you rather than trying to shove it in any one direction.

What is a writing style/technique that others do really well that you'd like to get better at?

It's more specific types of scenes that I struggle with: opening scenes first and foremost, and action. I SUCK at action.

Which is ironic, because while I never assume I'm the best or most knowledgeable about anything, I'm somewhat confident going out on a limb and guessing I have more hand-to-hand "combat" experience than the average writer (approximately 10 years' worth) and almost certainly have more [than the average writer] with weapons and firearms. The overlap in those two areas just isn't particularly significant in my experience.

Midam Appreciation Week Day 3: The F-word (family)

Do we have to? Michael asked for the fifteenth time, wings twitching in agitation.

Oh, come on. It'll be fun! Adam countered, also speaking in their shared mind-space. While there was currently no one else around to hear them, that would change soon – at least if Michael finally got a move on.

I don't want to see them, Michael grumbled.

Adam took over the vessel for a second to raise an eyebrow at his pouty archangel. My brothers or yours?

… Yes.

The mighty archangel Michael, scared of a little family dinner, Adam teased him as he passed control back to Michael.

Michael's wings ruffled. I'm not scared.

Prove it.

Michael kept grumbling, but flapped his wings, and landed them in front of the bunker.

I don't understand why they insist on coming back here.

Adam took over the body to shrug and ring the doorbell. It's big, and sturdily built. Probably not a bad idea when inviting four archangels.

Before Michael could answer, the door was already opening, revealing a smirking Gabriel. “'sup, Mikey. No, wait.” He squinted. “You're the other guy, right?”

“The name's still Adam. You'd think it would be easy to remember, considering the First Man and all that.”

“Eh.” Gabriel made a vague hand gesture and turned to walk down the stairs.

“Well, thanks for inviting us in,” Adam muttered, and stepped inside. Michael made the door fall closed behind them as they followed Gabriel down the stairs.

The long library table was already set for what must be eight people, and Jack came in with a basket of sliced bread while Gabriel and Lucifer just lounged around.

“You're here!” Jack called as he saw Adam and Michael. “Then we can start. I'll tell the others!”

After depositing the bread on the table, Jack bounded away again. Lucifer looked after his son with a soft gaze, then turned back to Adam and Michael.

“So you finally made it,” he said.

“Yeah, sorry, we forgot the time,” Adam said, smiling apologetically.

They would have actually been punctual if Michael hadn't been stalling, but they were a team, and so Adam wouldn't tell the others.

“So what were you doing?” Lucifer asked, and grinned. “Something... fun?”

“Yeah,” Adam answered lightly. “There's this new game called Baldur's Gate 3, you know-”

“Hey,” Sam suddenly said, and Adam turned to see him coming into the library with Castiel and Jack at his heels.

“Hey guys,” Adam said, not missing the tension in Sam's and Castiel's shoulders.

Was it funny that they seemed to be more nervous around Michael, the guy they had once molotoved and pulled into Hell, respectively, than around Lucifer, the guy who had possessed them both, if the stories Adam had heard were correct?

Well, maybe funny wasn't quite the right word, though Adam had to admit that it was kind of hilarious to see the two being so awkward.

“Adam,” Sam said, some of the tension seeping out of his shoulders.

But only some.

Before Adam could make a barbed comment about Sam throwing a coin to decide who was in front of him, Dean came in wearing two big mittens and an even bigger, steaming pot. There was a smile on his face, and it only became a little pained as he looked at everyone, which Adam didn't even have to chalk up to the weight of the pot. He could just as easily put that on Lucifer, or even Gabriel.

None of them were Dean's favourite archangel. That one came into the room behind him, making several other pots levitate around them.

“Hello, brother,” Raphael said, not unkindly, as they made all the pots float onto table mats specifically set out for this purpose.

“Raphael,” Michael said while Dean put down the big pot in the middle of the table.

The tensions which had strained the archangels' relationships with each other after they had been revived were mostly gone, but Raphael wasn't a very outgoing or emotional person. They always held themselves under tight control.

Michael had long done the same – the only emotion he had let out had been anger, which had covered up sadness, fear and loneliness. He was doing a lot better these days – for example, after he had finally possessed Adam again, he had not stopped hugging him for three days.

By now, one could almost say that Adam was the repressed one in this relationship. But Michael was still careful with his emotions around his siblings, since he always feared that their intensity was unwelcome.

Adam hoped he would get over that soon.

As they sat down to eat, Lucifer chose a seat right next to Michael and Adam.

It had taken a while for both Lucifer and Michael to forgive each other – after all, neither Michael nor Lucifer had exactly been the champion of good decisions over the past few million years – but once the resentment had started fading, something else had taken its place. Another strong feeling, and one which Adam hadn't exactly expected. Also, one that Michael was still resolutely trying to ignore into non-existence.

As Lucifer's hand curled around their leg, Adam felt Michael's wing twitch, startled and embarrassed.

“Once again, Dean has made enough to feed us all, forgetting that some of us don't eat,” Lucifer commented innocently, still fondling their thigh.

“Speak for yourself,” Gabriel said, and snapped his fingers, making his plate fill with Dean's food. “I don't know what this guy puts in it, and I probably don't wanna know, but damn if it isn't better than anything I could conjure up.”

“Oh, don't you know the secret ingredient to cooking?” Jack asked, perking up as he noticed he could be helpful. “It's love!”

Gabriel scoffed. “Like I said, I didn't wanna know.”

Michael took over their body for a moment to give him a look.

“Ah,” Lucifer said, embarrassed. “Right.”

They had both done their share of bad things, Adam thought as Michael traded the body back to him, in the name of love. So had Adam, he supposed, considering that he had been ready to torch half the world to see his mom again.

Maybe everyone in the room had done that, once upon a time. And maybe each of them would do it again.

But if so, Adam thought that they would at least do it as a family.

March Media Diary Thing 2024

This one's a weirdo! I'm typing this first paragraph after the fact, because it's the 30th instead of the exact end of the month like i wanted to post it . This post's a two-phaser, just because the way i typed this one out was in a " Live thoughts as fresh as i got them on the day i did stuff " kind of format. I didn't realize that there'd be so many more embeds then in febuary and january, but i guess it's just that kind of thing where you end up doing alot or doing the same but having more to say on it because its Now and not Before? i'm not giving this one a docism as a title just because it's kind of embarrasing to make too much more focal then it is, but the game's visual design and the way it flaunts itself does kind of make it a little distracting, but, i guess, more then anything else i've played from wayforward. um

coincidentally as i was playing i learned that the day i chose to start this game came out 3 years after the first game, which, coincidentally , lines up with the game's actual in-universe timeline iif my opinions on this game lines up itll be like, (9) years until i play the next one thats for sure

ok so my story with this series is that i played the first game accidentally completely handicapping my own experience with it because i didnt know you could upgrade your stuff in it and thus made everyone in the ggame into a big dumb hp sponge that wasnt enjoyable to figght and despite my best efforts to try and like this game more ( And, i will say, despite the very prevalent appeals to the male gaze, it CAN be charming ! ) i also took entirely way too long to learn about switching weapons worked functionally, just because despite SEEING the tutorial prompt for weapon switching, i didnt put it together because it takes a bit longer to activate then you'd expect, and thus, never used it. Oops! but yea this game mostly just stands on its own crass nature and in that respect its both very self aware and self indulgent. if you like that kind of vibe youll enjoy the game and its style or be mostly indifferent/uncomfortable with it . Shrug! shinobu is pretty cool. u get to play her after the events of the first game and its neat.

one thing i like about this games like direction is that its very well established that nobody in this game is a good person like even remotely and in that aspect it does get to explore cool stuff i can appreciate. i like that much. i tthink my favorite boss conceptually is the big robot you fight at one point in the battle royale segment. but id mostly consider this game as kind of a gimmick. i can see elements in there that'd make it a classic to a certain brained kind of person, but it doesnt appeal to me. i did wanna try and i did get at least to the very end until the final boss, at least. people say thats one of the worst final bosses in video games period and i gotta say they didnt lie shit doesnt really work

I technically started this last month but this is the month where i actually sat down and finished it just because MAR 10 ran around so like. might as well fish out some random mario sidescroller to play next also. its short and ive heard some ssay its like definitive mario 1 but the way mario's speed + the screen crunch make it kinda sloppy in a way. limitations of a gameboy color i know but i guess as a standalone way of playing mario 1 its not like. the worst in the world . ive never actually finished mario 1 before on my own so this is a new experience for me !

i still havent completed this game's story mode to this day, but, recently, cus' the efforts of the team 0% team ( group of crazy freaks with the sole goal of making sure every mario maker 1 / 2 level gets cleared ) ive been driven to try and finish my super world recently. i might feel like showing off the levels ive made at the end of the week,as well, but it's honestly really satisfying, even if i know that the userbase for this game's comparitively shrunk since launch. idk! its fun to make mario levels. i think its satisfying and ill do it even if nobody plays them. also apparently i forgot to turn off my nso subscription so thats why im extra driven to upload lots of levels while i have it. I still hate how NSO is a paid service attached to online. it just kind of paywalls large swaths of games that don't need it and it's just dumb, evil, corporate greed. Ugh! That's the price of gaming in the modern era, i guess....

game i've only played very recently, and arguably, doesnt fall under regular completion criteria, as it's mostly meant to be played on a whim in short bursts ( it does have a short story mode, though, plus a bunch of challenges i haven't played yet..! ) ( I might not be smart enough, for those... ) , but that doesnt really matter! This game is absurdly , amazingly, adorably adorable! !! !

Fairy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aside from having an adorable fairy character that appeals to every aestetic i love, its also a decently digestable GBC styled puzzle game ! thats really fun!! and ive been playing it on steam deck, where, i think, it really shines!! the character design in it is really good!

i've yet to master it , as it's pretty fast paced, but its essentially a match game that bumps stuff togetheer good with cute characters like puyo. i havent interacted with that series before but i have played kirbys avalanche and star stacker and this is pretty fun like those. if you like those games you'll like this.

the docism is kind of demeaning but this game is really solid i finished it just now in 6 hours ( 3/21 ) ( Wait, those numbers add up to 6! wow! ) i think this games strongest suit is how drop dead gorgeous the sprite art is . like . holy shit there are giant gorgeously animated ps1 quality era crisp pixel perfect sprites just everywhere
