Was thinking about the fantasy au again & I couldn’t decide between having the “someone gets arrested” side story be nene+tsk or rui+tsk but I decided on the latter just because the image of akito not only dealing with the insult that the very impressive knights academy upperclassman had zero idea who he was but also having to sit there with an while rks are doing a pandemonium chapter 8-esque talk is so fucking funny to me. They don’t even stay arrested either touya shows up and is like oh it’s tsukasa senpai my friend tsukasa senpai :) why are you in jail? Akito let them out of jail (an is laughing at him).
#it’s the only way to throw vbs in there.#mine#tsukasa#rui#akito#in tsukasa’s defense he had other things going on besides knight school#an would probably show up again at some point and ig akitouya during the reunions arc

cw; thirdyear osamu miya x f!reader, smut, yep. That's all.
Even though they have just comeback from nationals, voleyball team were no exception to the upcoming finals especially the third years.
All Osamu wants right now is to be laying down in bed with you at his side but instead his stuck here at the library trying to understand equations, trying to find the right solution so he can get the right answer
"Mhn, this sucks!"
He heard his twin groan as Atsumu finally drop his pen and rest his head on the table, as much as Osamu wants to meet up with you, you're busy with the exams too. Why do you have to be on the other section?
"I'm gonna go buy foods. Osamu, you coming?" Suna said, finally giving up too "Sure. Tsumu' whaddya want?" Instead of answering, his twin only shook his head and proceed to fiddle on his phone, the two of them shrug and made their way towards the canteen
++
"Wanna go karaoke today?"
Exams are just right around the corner and your friends have the audacity to go karaoke later, very nice.
"Karaoke? We need to study."
"My brain is going to explode! I need a breather!"
You laugh at them, others may say that they are only exaggerating but exams are really hard because it the grades you'll be getting will determine if you can go to a good university and hell, you want to go to a good one
"Hmm what's this? Karaoke today?"
You quickly turn around upon hearing the voice of your boyfriend, you two only met the day he return after being in Tokyo for the nationals but ever since that day, you guys stop seeing each other. Too busy with the exams.
"Osamu!"
He quickly catches you when you practically throw your body to him, Osamu hug you tight and bury his head on the crook of your neck. You could hear the snickers and giggle of your friends.
"I miss you so much, baby."
"Miss you too, baby."
Osamu smiles warmly and leans in to kiss you on your cheek, he wrap his one arm on your waist and face the others
"Hey! Why don't we go to Karaoke after exams?" One of your friends suggested "Seems nice, a reward." Suna agreed, after that it was decided that you guys will be going to Karaoke together with the vb team, well, if the others agreed.
"Your house later?"
Osamu whispered and you look up at him, he have this annoying smug smile on his lips which made you rolled your eyes
"Yeah yeah."
++
"This was your plan all along huh?"
You groan when his hands traveled down again and grope your ass. Both of you were really studying while ago but Osamu couldn't stop himself from kissing your neck.
"Sorry, I just miss you so darn much that I can't hold back myself.."
"Oh baby..."
Osamu kisses you once again but this time his using his tongue, you could feel the coldness of the floor on your room as your boyfriend have his way with you. It would be a lie if you say that you didn't miss him too.
He unbutton your uniform and trail his kisses down, letting out a groan, Osamu expertly unclasp your bra and his mouth quickly latch on your nipples. Sucking and licking them while his other hand is pinching your other expose nipple.
Your boyfriend won't admit it to your face but he likes keeping his mouth or head very close to your chest. He loves your breast, okay? The way his hands couldn't hold it because it spills out. The softness of it is what make him crazy. But what if...
You snap back to your sensws when Osamu stops and just towers over you, his eyes staring at your boobs. Now what's gotten into him?
"Osamu?" You called his attention "If I get you pregnant you're gonna lactate and if you're gonna lactate..."
You almost let out the loudest moan when he grope your boobs, his gray eyes found yours and you know what he wants. You gulp and held on to his arm
"You can only do it inside once we graduate!"
Osamu scoffs and leans down to kisses you, you can hear the sound of him unbuckling his pants and when the kiss broke, you can feel your pussy tightening at the site of his hard cock. Fuck, his precum is leaking.
"Y'know we're very close to yer bed but I wanna fuck you here on the floor. Yer bed makes too much noise that yer parents might hear us fucking."
"It's because you do it so rough!"
He laughs at your reaction and grab his bag that is place not so far away from where you guys are, he grab a box of condom and took out one.
"You brought a box?!"
"Baby, when was the last time we fuck? Ya don't know how much I miss yer pussy."
You felt yourself blushing at his bluntness, Osamu is a great dirty talker in bed. It helps you get to your high faster, you moan out his name when his fingers starts to do a slowly circular motion on your clit.
"Mhm yer wet though I wanna stretch you more.."
He covered his two fingers with your own slick and slowly insert it inside you. You huff and tried[keyword here is tried] not too moan out loud. He began thrusting his fingers in, at first it was low as if he was getting you to know the size of his fingers. Then, it got faster that you use your free hand to cover your mouth.
"M'gonna cum at this rate!"
"Uh-uh can't have that. Wanna feel ya cum on my cock."
He took out his fingers and inserted his cock, heck his fingers didn't do any justice on just how big he is. Did all the training from their practice went to his cock?! You swear that he felt bigger and longer that you feel full inside.
"Hold on tight, baby. We're just getting started."
++
"Winter uniform? Stockings? Aren't you hot?"
It's Osamu's fault. You specifally told him not to leave a mark on your thighs but that asshole left a mark everywhere on your body! To think you'd be wearing your winter uniform and stocking under the blazing sun!
"Heya guys!"
Speaking of the devil
"What the- why are you wearing turtle neck underneath of your uniform? Wait...."
You quickly covered the mouth of Atsumu before he can even open his mouth and utter such embarassing words. Osamu texted you to come to the gym since he said that he brought the notes that you guys did after some hours of fucking.
"Osamu- you little shit!"
Let's just say that everyone on the voleyball team figured it out.

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ anon request: Hiii!!, since your requests are open, could i ask for; akito x reader, going on a field trip/camping with the rest of the vbs, but they have ran into n25 and wxs (ofc separately) that also decided to go camping somewhere close??? I hope it's not too much😭😭
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Hello!!!
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ fluff for Akito, platonic for rest
✧ you and VBS most likely got to know you have neighbors during your camping by suddenly hearing very loud yell... and quite chaotic banter...
✧ of course Akito quickly guessed correctly it must be the annoying wombo combo
✧ it wasn't long till they noticed VBS and tagged along... and oh boy it was just the start...
✧ Toya and Kohane didn't mind... But Akito? Oh he was complaining to you all the time... An too though...
"Can this place be any more loud...? Please don't prove me it can. I was complaining, not asking."
✧ Nene joined the "commenting what a weirdo wombo combo is" club to your surprise...
✧ Emu and Tsukasa were mostly talking with Kohane and Toya really!
✧ so that left the worse... Rui... to you... Or rather to Akito...
✧ he was clearly trying to get a reaction out if your boyfriend who was barely holding it together
✧ if Tsuaksa makes the morning extra loud for him he'll definitely end with flip flop or any shoe on his face followed by noise of you scolding Akito for what he did
✧ you're also either sharing a tent or having your tents right next to each other! There's no way he'd leave you like that when loud troublemakers are nearby...

✧ Ena could recognize that tent anywhere... It's from her house after all! So when she arrived with Nighrcord, she immideitly got irritated for her brother ruining her plans
✧ Mizuki of course was quite happy because this hangout just turned to be a lot more interesting!
✧ you can already tell Akito and his sister were fighting most of the time... throwing little banters at each other and so on...
✧ if you tried interrupting that, you'd most likely to get just pushed away
"Not now, Y/N!"
"Don't you raise your voice at them!"
✧ Mafuyu and Kanade were mostly in background not feeling like dealing with all this drama...
✧ Mizuki stayed out of the way only when siblings started fighting and always offered you a rescuing hand just in case~
✧ if they were not fighting tho, they're most likely teasing one of the Shinonome's or anyone in this group really!

Could you explain how the new gacha works? It seems to include old lims but can you pick which are rate up?
Sorry for the late reply on this, basically no information on the gacha was given until today.
The Recollection Fes gacha is indeed free but you can also use paid crystals, and pity system works the exact same as regular gacha, with the exception that it extends to 200, so you need 400 regular pulls for the highest pity bonus.
You also get to select some cards, like dream pick or select list gachas. They're not guaranteed to be obtained, but they come into play on the pity system... At 300 and 400 pulls.
You do get rewards for every 10 bonus on the pity system, which is better than regular gacha. Aside from bonus 50/100/150/200, you will get 50 wish pieces for every 10 gacha bonus. On 50 bonus (100 regular pulls) you get a permanent 4* you do not already have. On 100 bonus (200 regular pulls) you will get an unobtained limited or colofes 4*, on 150 bonus you get a selected permanent 4*, and on 200 bonus you get a selected limited or colofes 4*. Limited cards are not only guaranteed by pity though, and are in the gacha pool normally, it's just random as to what cards if any you get, like any other gacha.
The cards that will be available are perm cards from a year or more before this gacha, colofes cards from 2 or more years before this gacha, and limited cards that have been rerun twice or more over 3 months before this gacha. No birthday, collab or WLE cards. I.e:
Perm 4*s up until Our Happy Ending
Colofes cards up until Honami/Shiho (aka the first half of the MC ones)
And the following limited sets:
Smile of Dreamer (Emu/Nene)
STRAY BAD DOG (Akito/An)
Song of Vows for You (Toya/Rui)
Absolute BEST Summer (Honami/Saki)
The Two Moon Rabbits (Shizuku/Shiho)
Scramble Fan FESTA (Minori/Kohane/Tsukasa)
My Footprints Your Destination (Mizuki/Ena)
The Tomorrow We Hope For (Haruka/Honami/Kohane)
Operation Secret Valentine (Airi/Saki/Emu)
Thrilling White Day (Tsukasa/Akito/Mizuki)
Sakura Across SEKAI (N25!Miku/Ln!Luka/VBS!Len/WxS!KAITO)
Connecting Painful Hope (Haruka/Minori/MMJ!Rin)
Wishing For Your Happiness (An/Shizuku/VBS!MEIKO)
Spojoy Park (Kanade/Minori/Ena)
Additionally, the limited gachas listed above will NOT be rerun again, and this applies to any other future limited gachas. Second rerun is the last. The only way to obtain these cards now will be through Recollection Fes or other (usually paid) gachas featuring limited cards. Not to worry though, RecoFes WILL be held again much like Select List and Fes gachas etc, though we don't have a schedule yet. My guess is not too frequently, maybe like every 6 months.
Lastly, 4* drop rate on this gacha will be doubled (like fes)!! Honestly it's a pretty good deal if you're not worried about throwing away all your gems 1 month before the anniversary dream pick gacha, but if you're an EN player you've got a year to prep and make your decision so it's not as bad. Also the gacha only lasts from tomorrow until September 1st so keep that in mind.

Digimon World Data Squad - Final Thoughts
Another Digimon game defeated 😉 This one felt kind of like a knock off of the Tales of series in its presentation (although it has turn based fighting). They're both Bandai Namco, so not much of a stretch there. It's one of those games that's objectively kinda bad but still manages to be enjoyable despite its flaws.
Despite the localized name, it is NOT a part of the Digimon World series. I guess it's considered a standalone. Kind of a side story to the Savers/Data Squad anime.
Notes:
This game took me slightly over 17 hours to beat over 3 weeks. Really the time it takes to beat is inflated because the game throws a random encounter at you every two seconds 😒 Also, I could have done all the bonus content, but I really didn't want to trudge through the dungeons again.
Speaking of the random encounters, not only do they slow the game to a crawl, they also make it pretty easy to become OP so long as you don't flee from any of them. Sometimes I enjoy the built in grinding, but this was a bit excessive. The "low/no encounter" items made things better late in the game but you also had to use a new one so frequently because they expired in like 1 minute!
Another frustration with this game is that the sound mixing was atrocious! It had the benefit of having all the English dub voices but that didn't matter because you couldn't freakin' hear anyone over the blaring music! It was painful to listen to and the subtitles were absolutely required. (There was no way to adjust the sound btw)
I was impressed by how much is voiced in this game, even though the dialogue is not that well written. I liked that they had victory dialogue at the end of each battle (that I could barely make out lol).
Graphics-wise I think the game looked pretty nice, typical PS2 JRPG with the bright colors from the show. The movement of the digimon in and out of battles was great. I really liked Agumon's "windmill arms" when he got all charged up. That was cute.
Weird af battle mechanics were not for me. Which skills you have access to are based on your digimon's mood and sometimes they want to be useless for whatever reason. A lot of the support/guard skills I also just never used because it was extremely unclear what they did? I couldn't find good online guides for this game either because it's not that popular lol.

(Gaogamon was the most annoying digimon in my party. He never wanted to be helpful in battle and his attacks were always super weak >:()
Speaking of weird mechanics, digivolution was weird too! I eventually realized that there was a hidden (never introduced/explained) menu that told you the requirements for each digivolution. I spent a long time thinking it was just random and getting shitty digimon every time I attempted a digivolve mid-battle. On the bright side, it was easy to just pick a digivolution you already unlocked and jump to it. That was convenient but felt really weird because digimon games have never let me do that before (at least not going to a higher level).
This entire game was insultingly easy until the final boss who suddenly got really hard (until I found a good strategy). All the other bosses just took one try. The game is very unbalanced because they give you so much money after each battle to the point where you can basically buy infinite recovery items.
Every single boss I fought (except one) had the same "VB" weakness? How lame is that? I was able to use the exact same strategy for ever boss and it made things very monotonous.
I liked the dungeon design/variety in locations, but the constant battles left me disoriented and made it hard to appreciate the view.
(Shout out to the walkthrough I found that had maps of each one. Made things a lot less painful.)
There was a handful of game exclusive characters that were fine I guess. I liked Kosaburo and his Biyomon, but Yuma and Kagura were pretty forgettable. They felt like the kind of characters you'd see that were made to appear once in a Digimon movie.
Speaking of Kagura, he was the (gasp) surprise villain (another reason this reminded me of a Tales of game tbh). He was pretty pathetic as a villain. They reveal at the end that his whole motive was being jealous of Thomas being better than him at everything. Like, okay, cool story bro.
Rolled my eyes big time when they revealed that the plot revolved around the seven deadly sins. How many times is Japanese media gonna pull out that cliche? I'm literally playing a completely unrelated visual novel rn (11eyes) that ALSO has a seven deadly sins plot. (Actually they came out 2 years apart from each other, so maybe it was a 2000s craze lol).
It seemed pretty unnecessarily cruel to kill off Nitta in front of his daughter like that. All the characters are just like "there there..." to her. I don't get why he had to die when Kagura didn't? (They were both "absorbed" by digimon) Makes no sense other than that Kagura had more plot armor.
I did feel pretty powerful defeating Lucemon Satan Mode at the end there. Unfortunately this is one of those games that goes back to the title screen after you beat the last boss. I've always thought that was a weird choice. Let me save!!
The Digimon video game franchise continues to be completely different with every release! Half of me is like "what's up with this chaotic mess!?" and the other half is like "yes!! Keep surprising me!" I'm really glad I'm playing the games alongside the anime. Feel like I'm on my way to becoming a Digimon scholar lol.
I give Digimon World Data Squad a 5 out of 10.

🌻?
I was thinking about "I'm the sort of person who can only have a dream thanks to others" again this morning and how. all of VBS are in some way. in fact VBS' story is full of people who are this way.
(you're getting a lot of words be aware)
I'll start with Kohane as the one who said it to begin with, surpassing Rad Weekend is not her own dream. It's An's, who she wishes to support in every way. Further than that, Kohane is someone who was not immersed in a creative passion the same way the rest of the cast has been since they were children. Photography is considered a small hobby she's gotten from her dad, she is happy Minori has that dream but doesn't consider following her in being an idol. An is the first time she considers branching out, and An in turn drags her fully into music as a passion. So, in Kohane's eyes at least, she is literally only able to feel passionate about this dream because of An. Speaking of the blue menace.
An Shiraishi grabs the torch Nagi threw out that night and runs forward unaware of just what she is carrying. To surpass Rad Weekend is to seek out the dream Nagi couldn't achieve, and VBS' new goal is the one RADder never had the time for. On top of that, An could not achieve that dream alone. She needed a partner, a group, in order to reach the level where she could perform at the level of Nagi. So while An took that dream up on her own, it was influenced by others, and could only be achieved with the help of others.
Akito follows a similar line with that night being what drives him, but unlike An who's been singing her whole life, his passion needed a standout moment to form from. Rekindle explores the fact that Akito needs something to fixate on to follow his dream, and the fact that he now needs something besides RAD Weekend to go forward. Again, Akito needs other people to find his dream. He needs Ena to drag him to the Summer festival, he needs An to share that dream, he needs Toya as a partner, he needs Kohane as a source to keep pushing ahead.
Toya also follows the same lines as Kohane - he doesn't have RAD Weekend as his own dream, instead being the one of his partner. LSV served nicely as the proof that at that moment, Toya and Kohane's goals aren't necessarily RAD Weekend but rather to help An and Akito reach their goals (which is RAD Weekend). WOAO also throws in how they both want to be the strength they need to reach that level. I feel like I'm repeating myself by this point bwahhhhh.
The NPCs also follow this - Arata and Souma, RADder in general, Kotaro and VBS. Vivid Street and Nagi's wish. Vivid Bad Squad's story rotates around a community of people who inspire each other and push each other forward in the aims of what many consider just a dream. RAD Blast is the ending of a dream that Vivid Bad Squad got from other people and the start of a dream they could all say they picked for themselves. It's still a dream influenced by others, but every dream is like that. Kohane just hadn't been able to notice that the people she looked up to were also inspired by others to begin with.
#bagel answers#uhhhh i was going to throw something in about wl2 and how it proves vbs all needed each other for this dream#but this is long!!! bwah!!!!!#go forth my vivid bad squads

thank you everyone for the mafutoya food, much obliged, def cheered me up (my ask box is still open to more…..)
in return, my own mafutoya hcs/fic ideas/just general spouting:
composer buddies. i will die on this hill. theyre an online duo like 25ji and they make music together and their groups have NO idea (bonus points if someone(s) from their group also follow them). i will die on this hill. its hilarious.
on that note, mafuyu taught toya a bit of how to compose— i would imagine she helped him refine how to put emotions into song (since she did that quite well as we know)
^ also, they’re study buddies. def both practice their english on one another, but since madus an honors kids and toyas just Smart they work well together. mafu also helps come up with ways to help toya tutor akian bc she already does that with rando classmates
more canon divergencey, but their parents know each other (not in the same fashion as the aoyagi-tenma friendship…. asahinas more just keeping up terms to look good bc. aoyagis.) so the kids knew each other. they weren’t super close but they’d recognize one another
mafuyu running away at the end of mafu4 definitely gave toya food for thought on his own running away (that he would come back to tackle in toya4 sorry bud)
toyas the extroverted of the two technically. sure, mafu’s mask is even more extroverted, but generally toyas the upbeat one between them.
they like to just take the train around tokyo for the sights. they did it less as toya prepared for rad blast, but mafuyu def took him on a celebratory train ride at some point in congrats
mafuyu does not like most of vbs’ music (since akian wrote the music until roughly toya3, and even then i think they still did the brunt). mafuyu does like toya’s songs, tho
^ followup, toya follows 25ji. hes 50/50 most of the time (partially tastes partially instruments sometimes) but he supports them by leaving ridiculously long comments breaking everything down. hes become a well-known member of the 25ji fandom, accidentally.
more serious hc: toya does not, in any shape or form, “save” mafu. if they knew each other earlier, however, he definitely kept her from going over the edge. i can talk a LOT about this but thats a whole other rabbit trail.
mafuyu gets plushies from toya from the arcade. its usually rabbits, although the occasional cat or bird makes its way into the pile. there is an ever-growing pile of fluff in the corner of mafu’s room at kana’s. honami does Not Know what to do with it.
if they had a sekai together, it would be mafuyu’s fragment sekai but with like. the equivalent of a starbucks stuck in it. like the starbucks at a target or barnes&noble or whatever. mikuluka are their only vs, although they might get a len or kaito later on.
toya goes to miya to pick up kohane when an cant, but honestly goes to talk to mafu mostly. i mean hes there for kohane but sometimes koha has committee and so toya will just,,, talk with mafuyu. the rest of the school is VERY confused as to why this random kamikou guy is talking with asahina mafuyu, and then saki barrels him over one day screaming “OTOUTO!!!” at the top of her lungs and theyre like “oh hes a tenma okay”
this goes without saying but mafu doesnt mask around toya. she did for a bit, but toya saw through it bc it was annoyingly similar to akito’s own. toya Does Not like the mask. in any situation. he willingly chooses to extrovert most of the time than let mafu mask. its partially for his own sanity.
mafu teaches him to cook, and toya reteaches her tastes (partially stolen from that one akitoyamafu fic on ao3 love you)
mizuki constantly tells stories about them to the other, and they always listen with rapt attention. mizu thinks its cute in a way, and is also happy to have their full attention for once (not like toya wouldnt but)
toyamafu have no fashion sense. they just kinda throw something together thats vaguely coherent. akito was forced to band with mizuki to get them to actually match their clothes right.
mafuyu is more athletic than toya (not a high bar tbh) but toyas much more limber and flexible
#zero thoughts#zero songs#mafutoya food#project sekai#proseka#pjsk#prsk#aoyagi toya#toya aoyagi#asahina mafuyu#mafuyu asahina#toyamafu#mafutoya#they rattle around in my head a lot#i just think they're neat#and like. to me they’re platonic qpr or romantic. i genuinely take all three forms in high amounts#i can see all sides for those#also hcs were written with platonic/qpr in mind but feel free to read as romantic#feel free to dispute some of these id be genuinely interested to hear why /pos

Fate in Project SEKAI - 1/?
VBS
2.3k
1. An and Kohane
Right from the main story we're introduced to the idea that An and Kohane's first meeting was simply fate. Kohane was just a bypasser overhearing An's singing, hearing An talk about her dreams. It's this that makes Kohane reflect on herself, how she's never been passionate and never had anything she wanted to throw herself into. This girl is everything she isn't and everything she would like to be.
They don't even meet formally, but An's profession of her dream and Kohane's longing for one is what causes their SEKAI to manifest. We know from MEIKO that it's been around for a long time, but it wasn't until Kohane saw An that it revealed itself to its owners. But that could've been anyone. Anyone could've been inspired by An, or Akito and Toya, since they were involved in its creation too. Heck we could've had Kotaro who outright stated was inspired by Akito. But no, it had to be Kohane. Kohane had something she wanted to change about herself, and meeting An is the only way this could happen.
An also needed a partner, and Kohane was the perfect partner. An grew up talented surrounded by talented people. She never had any problems, she'd always been a step above everyone else. Kohane is a total beginner, far, far out of her comfort zone. They compliment each other. Kohane learns from An how to sing, how to be confident, all about her dreams and aspirations. She learns what it's like to be passionate. An learns what it means to rely on someone, what it means to wholly trust someone. A beginner is not to be protected, a beginner is to be taught. She teaches Kohane all these things, and learns what it's like to struggle too. She experiences a sense of weakness for the first time, the fear that someone will surpass her. She's not jealous, she's happy for Kohane, but she's insecure that Kohane will become too good for her, that she'll fall behind and lose the person she loves and trusts more than anyone else. It's these insecurities that push her to become even better, to improve further. She may be naturally talented but that doesn't mean you can't improve.
Kohane's fes card further touches on the idea of An being everything she wanted to be, by literally making her become An. All this time she thought she had to become An, not realising that what she truly needed was to stay being herself. Kohane wanted to change, but to change yourself doesn't mean to become someone else entirely. Kohane is still Kohane. She's still the shy girl who was too scared to do anything, but she left that girl in the past the second she chose to return to An in the main story. It's this idea of a rebirth that is touched on a lot more later on in Nagi and Akito's arcs, and VBS' arc as a whole.
2. Akito and Toya
Was Akito and Toya's meeting just a coincidence, or was it fate? I'll discuss the overlaps between coincidences and fate in this game later, but for now we'll say that yes, Akito and Toya's meeting was also fate. In fact, it's rather similar to An and Kohane's - a parallel, if you will. Not quite the same but not wholly different.
Akito had been fully devoted to soccer for his entire childhood. He was talented, the best player on the team. He put so much time and energy into it. And then he lost, and gave up. Bringing back that idea of rebirth. Akito's passion for soccer burnt out, he was done with it, and not going back. Sure he was good, but he had nothing left in him to care about it anymore. Seeing that concert relit that passion. Made him rediscover himself. Maybe he wasn't made for soccer, but made for music. Music was an opportunity to reinvent himself, much like it was for Kohane.
Toya came from a musical family. Surrounded by professional musicians, tied to the fate of music from birth. His family expected nothing less of him than to follow in their footprints, a fate pushed onto him regardless of whether he wanted it or not. It wasn't right for him and it hurt, his parents hurt him trying to make him into something he wasn't. He may be talented and experienced, but he was willing to run away from it all. The lyrics to RAD DOGS say as much. Classical music was never his real fate, his real fate lied with street music. Even then, street music was just something he chose because it was so different from the path chosen for him. It was an unknown route that he didn't know how to navigate, but nonetheless, he grew to love it. Fate cannot be chosen, so maybe Toya's spontaneous choice was leading him in the right direction.
Akito happened to meet Toya on the street one day, just like how Kohane first encountered An. Akito, who had refused to work with so many people before, immediately chose Toya on his own accord. He recognised Toya's talent, that Toya was new and inexperienced despite all that, and that Toya was someone who needed a guide in this unknown world. Akito and Toya are two sides of the same coin. Akito is bold and brash and two-faced, Toya is calm and reserved and honest. Akito has no background or talent in music, Toya has all of that. Even their colours are complete opposites. But at the end of it all, both of them chose this path as a way to reinvent themselves. Relight a fire that had burnt out within themselves, allow it to burn brighter than before. Relight, restart, reborn. It's all the same. They're one in the same despite all their differences. They compliment each other and it's what allows them to work so well together, to trust and love each other more than anyone else. Aun no Beats' title is derived from the term Aun no Kokyuu/Aun Breathing, when two people act in perfect harmony to the point of breathing the same, being able to understand each other without words. There's a reason they and no one else was chosen to cover that song.
3. Bird lore + Arata and Souma
The Walk on and on event essentially confirms that the meetings of the two pairs were indeed fate, and that they're soulmates. A word that so fully describes exactly what they are. They complete each other, understand each other and trust each other so, so deeply. Kohane would not be who she is now without An, An would not be who she is now without Kohane. The same applies to Akito and Toya, their meeting is essential to who they are now, they wouldn't have navigated this far without standing shoulder to shoulder, back to back. The best way to describe these feelings, these actions, the way they act and the way they complete each other, two halves of a whole, two sides of the same coin, two parts of the same story, would be love. Platonic or romantic, the text supports both. Kohane and An will keep working hard to become the best possible partner for each other. Akito and Toya are still learning too, how to become even better than the best partner anyone could ask for.
The cards for that event contain a few references to the idea of soulmates two. First, the costumes. Toya and Kohane's costumes for the event have a single wing on the back. Their first recolours change the accent colour to their partner's image colour and flip the side of the wing. This alludes to the mythical Hiyoku bird. A bird with only one wing that will not be able to fly until it meets its other half. Akito and Toya would never have been able to fly, to get as far as they have, if it weren't for that chance meeting on the street. The same applies to An and Kohane, if Kohane hadn't run into An she never would've changed, and An never would've had a partner quite like Kohane. The cards also feature crows, a bird that, notably, mates for life. Toya explicitly states in the event that he wants to stay right beside Akito forever. It's a promise, it's not quite fate but it's the closest a person can get to it with their own actions. Toya is never going to leave Akito's side, and in return, Akito will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him. We see this demonstrated in Toya's card, with Akito literally having broken Toya's cage to reach him, and continue to sit beside him.
KAITO's card is particularly interesting, as it suggests that Akito and Toya, and An and Kohane are not the only fated partners on Vivid Street. KAITO's costume notably already has two wings, a completed whole, only one of them is damaged. Whilst not confirmed, it's highly likely that this is meant to represent Arata and Souma. After all, Souma was an important character in Walk on and on, as was his relationship with Arata. Souma and Arata's relationship has been compared to Akito and Toya's multiple times. Both of them wholly care for and love their partners, as outright stated by KAITO in THE POWER OF UNITY. For Toya, Akito is incredibly important to him. Akito taught him to love music again, Akito introduced him to a whole new world that he only entered out of spite but now is devoted to with his entirety. He has nothing but gratitude for Akito, much like how Souma has nothing but gratitude for Arata. Both of them want to give something back, through the medium both they and their partners love and understand more than anything.
Souma's accident may have made him unable to continue to stand by Arata's side, but Arata will continue to carry the dream that once rested on both their shoulders. It's more complicated for Arata though, who is still clinging to the grief of losing a partner who always stood beside him, a wall placed between them against his will, a wing torn from his shoulder. Dreams can't be carried alone, which is why he can't truly ever carry Souma's dream, nor claim it as his own. He's so caught up in his feelings that he can't realise that he wants this too, that it isn't just for Souma. It's in his honour, the memory of a dream that can't be achieved anymore. Arata's inability to realise this brings him so much pain because he loves Souma, so much, and it crushes him to think that he's betrayed him, in a sense. But once again, they truly are two people who complete each other. Souma wouldn't have reached the heights he did reach if Arata wasn't there beside him, and Arata would not still be on this path if it weren't for Souma leading him along for the first part of the journey.
4. Nagi and RAD WEEKEND
If there's one thing known about fate, it's that fate isn't kind to everyone. Fate was cruel to Nagi, it took her life from her. Her dreams were to be left unfulfilled, half complete. She had no choice in the matter, her story was coming to a close, before she could bring it to a proper conclusion. However, even if her fire burnt out, she still had the time to light a fire in a new generation. Her story will never see a proper end, but she can give her story to a new generation, and inspire them to write their own, one that can be truly completed.
Nagi held RAD WEEKEND as a send-off to herself, one last performance that she could put everything that she could into since she wouldn't have another chance. It was also a chance to create a legacy for herself. Whilst she herself would be gone, her impact would be remembered, be seen by many and inspire them to reach for their dreams, or perhaps give them a new dream. As she looks out to the audience whilst putting her legacy and dreams into the world, she sees An and Akito in the audience. While they wouldn't know it for years, Nagi knows, in that moment, mere days before her death, that these are the children she's inspiring, the ones who will remember, the ones who she's lighting a fire for, a fire that will never burn out. It's fate that Akito was there, it's fate that Nagi saw both him and An, and chose to entrust her life's work to them. Without Nagi, there is no Vivid BAD SQUAD. Without Nagi, An and Akito would not be so passionate, for there is no RAD WEEKEND to be passionate about. Akito wouldn't have chosen Toya as the one to run toward his dreams with, because there would be no dream to run towards. Kohane wouldn't have seen that passionate girl on the street and wished she could be just like her, wish she could be more than herself. And without that, there would never be a Vivid BAD SQUAD, never be a SEKAI, never be an Arata who learnt that he's not alone, or a Kotaro who learnt that he's not as talentless and useless as he believes.
Without Nagi, there's nothing. Her fate was not to die before her story was finished, because she finished her story. Her fate was to pass that story on, allow it to be rewritten and adapted by the ones she inspired with it, allow it to continue on. Nagi had more of an impact than she will ever know, but she knew that it's what she wanted, she knew who she was telling her story to, who she hoped would take what she gave them and run and burn brighter than she ever did. For Vivid BAD SQUAD, for Arata and Souma, for Kotaro, and for Tatsuya, Nagi is what guided them to their fate. Even moreso, she may have created it.

Strange VBS headcanon
After the Beyond the Way 3dmv, all VBS members have a supernatural sense of things thrown their way only if it was thrown by a VBS member
Like, if Kohane throws some flowers at Akito, he could literally just catch it while doing the most mindbending body thing

In Vesska's AU, Eir doesn't die in Heart of Thorns and has a pretty rough time with recovery until she receives a blessing from Wolf. While Zojja and her stay out of most of the action tied to the Crystal dragon, they get to be instrumental in slaying the two dragons that caused so much pain to their respective people.
___
Heart of Thorns
So, for starters, Eir survives, but does so barely. Faolain still stabbed the thorn in her side, and the Vinetooth still wounded and slammed her against the tree. What made all the difference was that Vesska managed to shield her with guardian magic from afar at the last moment just as she came into view, their spell greatly weakened by the distance but still strong enough to deviate the blow to the side of her abdomen. With the attack not being immediately fatal, Vesska rushed to her as the others kept the beast occupied, throwing as much magic as they could spare into healing her wounds and keeping her from bleeding out on the spot, then aided the others in slaying the Vinetooth from afar, too weak to join the fight directly. Such hastened magical regeneration on fatal wounds is never ideal for anyone involved, let alone when the wounded has been a prisoner for days, but that was the only option that gave Eir a chance of surviving and Vesska's lack of hesitation in putting themselves at risk to save her was instrumental. The norn was still in severe conditions, so as the others rested just long enough for Vesska to walk before leaving to find Caithe (who was with them but had to escape to keep the egg safe), Braham and Rox carried her to the nearest camp for further medical attention and safe transport out of the jungle, then they joined back with the Commander in VB.
-
Season 3 - Path of Fire
Braham was extremely thankful for what Vesska had done, but once the Pact came back victorious (and after he and Rox tracked and brought Garm home), that gratitude started to sour as he saw the still-terrible conditions his mother was in and the grim reality of settled in. The damage to her back from the impact bothered Eir a noticeable amount, but the hasty-healed scars left by the gash on one side and by the stab on the other made every movement agony, so she was bedridden for months, healing slowly and struggling to even sit up on her own. She was genuinely glad she had a chance to spend more time with her son, often thanking Vesska during their visits and joking about what happened, but she couldn't hide how much it all actually affected her, not when Braham rarely left her bedside. For many norn, that was a fate far worse than death, and while she tried to take it in stride, there was no doubt that her life would never be the same. Tired of seeing his mother in so much pain and refusing to let her legend end there, Braham spent months searching for an alternative way to heal her, looking into dangerous magic and ancient myths, and when the Commander tried to intervene to keep him safe, all that stress boiled over (along with unrequited affection) and exploded in a big argument between them.
In the meantime, Zojja was going through her own canon issues with recovery, including pushing everyone away once she was physically well enough to take care of herself. The moment Eir learned of it from Vesska, she became extremely restless and stubbornly tried to get back on her feet no matter the cost or pain, not willing to let her friend be alone during yet another difficult time. Eir later claimed it was Wolf giving her a powerful blessing for "putting one of her pack first", but as a matter of fact, in spite of her condition she managed to find the strength to transform into the Wolf. With "her" body feeling lighter and stronger than it did in months, Eir dashed out of her homestead and through the asuran gates towards Rata Sum, then tracked Zojja down amongst the panic of the citizens. From the asura's PoV, all of a sudden a massive red beast had just barged into her room and jumped her, so it took Zojja a handful of very long moments of sheer panic before she recognized who was actually simply hugging her. Then it didn't take much longer for the transformation to run out and for Eir to just collapse there without a word. And so, Zojja was forced to reach out to others to help carry the norn back to her homestead, and under the credible threat of Eir pulling that stunt again, she wasn't allowed to isolate herself again. The asura even stayed in Hoelbrak for a few days to make sure Eir hadn't just booked her way to an early grave for her, stressing and fussing over her worse than Braham was (in a way he was happy she managed something like that, but he had to first elaborate the heart attack he had over hearing what happened while he was on the other side of the Shiverpeaks). She kept visiting her frequently, and over time they grew closer as Zojja helped her with recovery, so much that Rox started calling her Eirsdottir to poke fun at Braham.
Taking advantage of her Wolf form to move around (while not painless, that body could withstand a lot more without further damaging her own), Eir became a Shaman of Wolf and learned to stay transformed longer than most norn ever could, as well as finding purpose in her community and helping others who were struggling like she was. During s3 and PoF, Zojja spent a lot more time with Eir in Hoelbrak than back in Rata Sum. The time away from the closed mentality of the city did her good, finding chances to heal and even a bit of joy in the norn community through Eir, as well as reigniting her passion for research as she studied the magic of the Spirits of the Wild more up close.

Season 4
While the duo didn't get to do much against Kralkatorrik directly, they're still a big part of the narrative from relative safety. [Many events are different in this season and may still be changed as I switch wip stuff around]
After the whole Rata Primus shebabble made news back in Tyria as yet another broken promise of the "reformed for realsies this time" Inquest, Zojja contacted her former mentee to check on her, and learning of Blish's new nature made her return to her golemancy roots, something she hadn't dared to touch since losing Mr. Sparkles after the fleet's crash (the rest of Destiny's Edge had offered to go and collect his remains for her, but she had vehemently refused and allowed what was later recovered to be salvaged).
When Taimi came to her for help against Kralkatorrik, looking for insights from someone who had fought the dragon before, Zojja unsubtly panicked at first, then after shutting down for a few days about it opted to talk with Eir to decide what to do. Going against that specific dragon already was too much for both of them, between the trauma of the way they lost Snaff and what happened in the jungle still being too fresh in their minds and bodies, but they decided to still go and aid them as they could without direct involvement. While Eir's Mists-sensitivity thanks to the Spirits helped a lot with the rifts, Zojja figured out a way to take advantage of the resonance a lot sooner in order to track Kralkatorrik (meaning Blish had no need to sacrifice himself and his input helped greatly on the research side of things) thanks to what Snaff had figured out before their first encounter, though she didn't dare to attempt mind controlling the dragon like he had done (traumatic reasons aside, that trick had gotten him killed and was unlikely to work twice).
Zojja and Eir also got to meet Snaff's ghost as he arrived to summon Aurene, Vlast and their Champion to Glint's trials (they happen in ep4 instead of ep5: she still has those terrifying visions, but Vlast and Vesska chase after her immediately), and they both found closure in the bittersweet conversation with him, finally burying the hurt that they couldn't leave behind for over a decade and the asura admitting they were family.
They don't feel up to the task when it comes to joining the battles in Thunderhead and Dragonfall, opting to stay in the backlines and focus on aiding and protecting the wounded. Still, they did feel majorly guilty about sitting out of the actual fight while the rest of the guild was involved, but the others made sure to comfort them on the "abandonment" front (it was nothing like when Logan had left abruptly) and underline the fact that without their help they would have never gotten to that point. Aurene's temporary death left them both struck with refreshed trauma, but Zojja actually managed to shake herself out of it before it took hold, not wanting to wallow in that kind of misery again no matter what. She got the whole guild to do something to help around, stayed close to Taimi after managing to quite gently get her to stop crying, then kept trying and failing to comfort Vesska about what happened not being their fault, even sassing Vlast into silence (which at least got a meager chuckle out of them) and comforting him too when he tried to get her to leave them alone to mourn.
After Aurene's resurrection, they stayed behind with the wounded in Thunderhead Keep, and once everyone else left Zojja finally cracked under the pressure and directly asked Eir for support instead of hiding away.

Icebrood Saga
Kralkatorrik's death sure was a boon to their mental health, only for it to take a progressive downward turn between the reveal of Jormag being tied to the recent mess at the charr rally and Primordus return to activity months afterwards. However, this time they decided to get involved: Zojja started helping Taimi, joining her krewe as she admitted the pupil had surpassed the master, while Eir traveled North but had to physically stay out of the action in Bjora, sending Garm to help out and keep an eye on her son and the rest of Dragon's Watch.
After what happened in Drizzlewood, the duo spurred into action without telling anyone. Thanks to Zojja's previous research on the Spirits and the tech she developed from it, they were able to track down where Owl was hiding before anyone else could. Thanks to Wolf's blessing, Eir allowed Owl to use her body as a temporary host in order to keep her on the move, but the dragon's corruption immediately started taking a toll on both norn and Spirit, so Zojja quickly re-engineered her tech to partially filter it out, with the boon of keeping Owl mostly veiled from Jormag.
Together with the other Spirits of the Wild, they hatched a plan that they then presented to the Commander and the elder dragon siblings: Zojja would use her golemancy to aid the Spirits in baiting Primordus to the surface, while Eir would unveil the presence of Owl within her to attract Jormag in the same place. Risky to no end, but everyone agreed it was their best bet. During that version of Dragonstorm, Bangar (who was still veeery mad about being betrayed by Ryland and -big surprise to no one but him- actually collared by the ice dragon) proved to be a major threat that nearly toppled the scales, so Eir spent the entire battle in a deadlock with him to allow Owl to keep his connection from Jormag temporarily severed, leveling the field by greatly underpowering both of them. Then, to keep their Champion from saving the ice dragon at the last moment, Eir had stayed behind to pin the ex-Imperator to the ground as the blast happened, and Owl sacrificed herself to shield Eir from it. However, Eir and Owl hadn't shared that sacrificial part of the plan with anyone but Aurene and Vlast, much to everyone's shock when they didn't see the norn among those transported to safety. Before Braham could even react after the explosion happened, Zojja had already jumped down in the blast zone with her golem suit to search for Eir, totally losing her cool during what seemed like another Snaff situation. When she found Eir in bad conditions but by all means alive, she used her golem to pull her out of the debris, and by the time the others arrived she was fully breaking down in the norn's arms, cussing her to the Eternal Alchemy and back for what she did without telling her.
They later discover that not only Owl's essence still lived in Eir, but that the Spirit was also slowly recovering. While Eir's connection to Wolf was no more, she could hear the Spirit's thoughts growing stronger every day and became the de facto havroun of Owl, eventually finding out she could transform into a stronger than usual Owl form that allowed her great liberty from pain for as long as she liked (imagine a snowy owl with the red of her hair instead of black). Once she was strong enough to speak clearly to her, Owl eventually confirmed that she would return when Eir would die, but that was fine by her. As some put it, no norn better exemplified Owl: a keen hunter who took care of her children, her family and her people's hearth at all costs.
Zojja instead was celebrated by her people for being instrumental in putting an end to Primordus, and while she put her own needs first and only acted as a consultant to the Arcane Council, she was pretty much pushed down a road to eventually become part of it.
They sat out of EoD, still recovering and busy with their people's matters. When the Dragonvoid started wreaking havoc in Hoelbrak, they rushed to do their part in the fight to keep people safe and the monsters at bay. And when the End arrived, at least they were together in their last moments.

project sekai headcanons part 1 (not for any specific character like all of them)
ichika was the most super excited out of leo/need when she got transported into the sekai but she didn't clearly express it (the sekai could tell though and changed the atmosphere)
saki is superstitious and believes in cryptids but only because she thinks it makes life more interesting
honami's classmates thought she's naive, innocent, and kind of dumb and it frustrated her but she played into it because she didn't want their opinions to change of her and change to negative ones (but then she unlocked her inner girlboss and started expressing her true self)
shiho used to say vocaloid was cringe (lying she loved vflower songs), until she met the sekai vocaloids and got very careful with her words...
minori has a lot of stuffed animals and has tea parties with them (she invited kohane and honami often) she used to have them more frequently when she was younger but got kind of embarassed and now only has them every once in a while..
haruka doesnt do much for her birthday but her friends always make sure to throw her a banger party and shes happy that they care that much
airi likes to buy those cheap plastic hairclips from the dollar store because theyre cute but she gets mad when they break easily
shizuku views len and rin the same way she views shiho, but len and rin eat that attention up and also see shizuku as a big sister
kohane doesn't like coffee so when vbs go to the cafe (very very often) she orders a hot chocolate. meiko has a bunch of different flavors so she always gets a different one each time
when an and akito are in an argument, an says really childish stuff that she got from mizuki and it makes akito mad because he knows where she got it from (she also calls him lil bro because she knows it annoys him)
thats a headcanon for half of the characters ill write part two when i come back from school ya

I feel like the project sekai fandom should talk more about Mizuki initial 3-star side story more. More specifically, part one. 👀
Especially the An Shiraishi fandom 💫
Like. The fact that An was singing ALONE on the rooftop when Mizuki found her.
Someone gotta do an analysis about that interaction, someone who’s way better at analyzing than me. 👀
Anon I appreciate you saying that and the asks themselves but as much as I would really love to slap some deeper meaning onto that interaction and especially An being on the rooftop I think that's... Just because she didn't want to bother anyone lmao. My girl's singing is loud when she wants it to be. Rooftop kind of seems like a good place to practice unless she's in the mood to find an empty classroom, but it's also probably not visited by teachers much so it's pretty much a no-brainer.
The interaction itself is pretty interesting though, especially as it probably (probably. Proseka timeline is a hot, hot mess) takes place before Vivids teamed up, or at least teamed up for good, and definitely before VBS as a team came to be, which is probably why she's alone. It's surface-level, but it shows that:
1) Mizuki and An are still only getting closer as friends, because they so happen to only now find out they share a very crucial interest, or perhaps Mizuki only now started to trust An enough to tell her about it (they've been part of N25 for at least some months and this point and... It could have not come up at this point, still, but why wouldn't it? Alternatively, how did An's singing not come up to this point either? She's much less secretive about those things. Early pjsk funkiness again?)
2) They both can immediately tell the other is serious about their music and love it, even by subtle hints, so it's just like... Really sweet in general. As well as the fact that they managed to become friends without even mentioning music in the first place.
An interesting detail is that An doesn't mention Rad Weekend by name, just as "a dream", which is not what she usually does. I wish I could find an explanation for it but I think it's just early Proseka exploring the possibilities and laying out the foundation for the units, so unfortunately them just not wanting to throw everything at the readers at once is a more probable reason than anything I can come up with.
3) Together with her being on the rooftop and apparently not mentioning RW to Mizuki before it can be used to highlight An's Middle School "I can't find a partner no matter how hard I try" loneliness, but at that point rooftop hasn't really been established as a Place of Middle School Blues by the cast (Rui, Mizuki and Shiho most prominently), so is it intentional? Hard to say. Cool detail in retrospective though.
That being said it's a nice side story overall, though I'm sad these singing lessons didn't really... Become a thing for those two like for Nene and Ichika. I think that arc would have a lot of potential, honestly.
Huh. Maybe someone should write it. Perhaps. Wink.

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ anon request: may i request kaito x male reader with a, o, and z from the fluff alphabet ? ( ू•⌄• ू )✧
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Yeah!! Tho all my alphabets are gender neutral buuut I hope it's still alright!
Since this is PJSK Vocaloids... I decided to include each version of him!! So hopefully this little idea of mine works >w<
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ fluff
✧ Admirer = What if they would be secret admirer? How would they act around their crush? And what will they do for them?
KAITO would try to drop slight hints to you so you'll see his feelings towards you or friendzone him before he confesses. He'll do simple acts of service like carry your bags, keep the door open for you, take your hand when you're jumping down the stage and so on... in short, he'll do his best to act like gentleman or so called "prince charming"!
"Watch out, this step is a bit high. Here, take my hand for support."
VS, MMJ, VBS, WxS
L/n!KAITO would always be more shy around you than anyone! He also would somehow refuse to play when you're around. Why? You don't know it but others like Luka and so definitely do... he's afraid you'll be able to immidietly tell he likes you if he did.
Besdies acting all shy, he'll eventually be convinced to do some stuff for you in order to give you slight hints about his feelings! One that won't make him emberassed but also one that won't make him bottle up his feelings anymore. Like he'll prepare it for you if he hears you had practice and act as if he did it just because if you DO catch him around which will be rare... that type of stuff!
"I should practice soon.... W-With you?! I- I think someone entered the SEKAI! I'll go check who it is."
L/n
N25!KAITO is the most annoying of all with his feeligns. He's the type to go with the "I can mess with them but you can't" rule. Like he'll poke out stuff you do every now and then and he even approaches you more often just for the said reason! But if you actually have a serious problem, he'll help nonetheless so don't worry~ And if someone tho I have no idea who could it be... would mess with you, he'll probably get in a fight...
If you're the tease type, you'll catch him being a bit shy at first and then completely deny everything. He honestly won't provide any other hint than hanging out with you more and "protection", so he won't even say his feelings unless you will do that first.
"Shut up, you're being stupid. I'm just around you because this place and everyone here is boring."
N25
✧ Only for you = What's something about them that they're hiding from everyone but their lover? Why did they decide to tell it to only their lover?
KAITO is always the one who's lending someone an ear, helps others and so on... usually he's at the giving rather than receiving side... He usually keeps it in because he doesn't wanna bother anyone, yet he reassures everyone who vents to him it's not a bother...
That's why to you, if you let him, he won't be afraid to confess what's bothering him. At first, he might be a bit reluctant about it, but trust me he warms up with time~ It's basically his way of showing his trust to you. If you ask MEIKO, you'll know even she doesn't get to see his true side as often as you do~ And she only gets it because they're great buddies! Still rarely tho...
"Yes... there is something actually... Are you alright hearing about it? This might take some time..."
✧ Zap into their heart = The moment they knew they fell for their current crush.
It was when the two of you were simply sharing a nice moment! Taking a walk, throwing few jokes or remarks here and there... or just simply being adorable together~
KAITO's heart literally skipped a beat when he heard and saw you laugh at one of his mistake in words... he thought it was emberassing but after you began laughing... he couldn't help but smile himself~ That's when realization hit him... he's not smiling to hide emberassment... he's smiling because of the view...
"That's not what I-! Oh... Heh~ No, it's nothing..."
VS, MMJ!, VBS, WxS
Here as KAITO bring the avoidant and less chatty one, he wouldn't even hold a proper conversation with you most likely... Maybe in L/n but nonetheless, it could get a bit awkward...
But YOU somehow liked to hangout around him nonetheless! You were way more lively than he was and he can't lie, he thought it was a bit of a bother but deep inside, he was glad to have you nearby~
The realization came when you were being silly as usual and... N25!him actually smiled and L/n!him joined you. He felt happy and comfortable... which when he realized sooner or later.. made him immidietly flee and think over what actually happened!
"Hah, what a- Oh god- Forget it. I have to go."

What's ur fav piece of trivia for every* character?
(*or at least as much as you can recall off the top of ur head)
my favorite trivia for characters is usually just whatever i think is funniest so just keep that in mind. that's not always the case but you might see it become a pattern. oh the other thing is whatever is most soul-crushing so yeah.
Ichika - either the fact her name comes from how her parents met (because i think it's really sweet) or that she accidentally discovered miku when she was watching videos on her dad's tablet and opened a recording of a miku concert
Saki - she used to listen to the song Time Machine when she was in hospital (at Ichika's recommendation) to remind her of family and friends. It's the in-universe reason why she is featured on the cover. This is actually one of my favorite facts in the game overall.
Honami - she is surprisingly good at flirting
Shiho - not one I've posted before, but in Run! Sports Festival! she couldn't bring herself to throw any of the balls in the ball toss because they had cute animal designs on them
Minori - she once passed out because Haruka wished her happy birthday.
Haruka - she likes penguins because she thinks the way they waddle is cute and she likes how round a lot of penguin merch is
Airi - she followed all of Shizuku's campaigns and bought all the magazines she was featured in when she was still a member of Cheerful*Days. She insists it was just research.
Shizuku - either that she usually has a thermos of miso soup on her to eat after practice or archery club or that she isn't good at texting. i haven't posted either of these before
Kohane - again one I haven't posted yet, but her favorite photo she's taken of Count Pearl is one of Pearl eating mice. the rest of VBS are surprised that she isn't squeamish about that sort of thing (i dunno what they're talking about that sounds like a very cool photo).
An - the possible symbolism of the black stripe on her new school cardigan. hello to the person who submitted that i am still not over it.
Akito - in Cinema he's the only person to sing solo during the first two choruses, the others don't get solo parts in the chorus until the end of the song. i think about this one a lot actually
Toya - he can't swim
Tsukasa - he's the comedic relief and there's a lot of really random shit i know about him because of that, so my favorite fact about him is whatever will have the most impact in the moment if i were to mention it out of nowhere. for a less vague answer, this one although i consider it to be one of my worst posts
Emu - she's very good at replicating cartoon faces. i like this one because it raises a few questions about whether the L2Ds are still exaggerated or if she just looks like that and no one questions that she actually has a cartoon face. what if project sekai ends with them all becoming self-aware.
Nene - either the fact that she thinks the forest has good graphics or that she called rui's mom "auntie" when she was younger because i think it's cute.
Rui - i like a good reference and i appreciate that he sometimes references famous people and media.
Kanade - she's left handed. i also like that her family name was made up specifically to contrast with the rest of N25.
Mafuyu - either that it's shown one time that she can see ghosts and then it's never brought up or referenced again, or that the "mom's cooking" listed as her favorite food might refer to the bunny-shaped apple slices her mother would make for her when she was a kid. i also like the detail that her eyes being two-tone is because she inherited the eye colors of both her parents.
Ena - twitter user. also despite loving cheesecake, she doesn't like cheese. girl what the hell.
Mizuki - they started out editing by making AMVs for a magical girl anime they liked. Amia comes from the name of a character from that anime. also did you know they put ice cubes in noodles because of their sensitive tongue. ice cubes.
Bonus - some side character stuff I like
Kotaro's favorite food is strawberries but he doesn't like strawberry flavored things for whatever reason
Asahi and Sakurako's family names are Chinese mythology references
Tatsuya's hobbies are motorbiking and fishing. these are not things you expect to go together
Nagi hated tomatoes but she would eat them in front of An
Iori hates spicy food, whilst Mio's favorite food is super spicy ramen. Meanwhile Mio doesn't like cream, but Iori likes crepes (which usually have cream on them).
Souma started listening to foreign music after Arata left for America
gbr i forgot about the vocaloids for a second but before i call it a day i think it's incredibly funny that Len cannot reach the stools in crase cafe.

;; haruan thoughts again because im actually looking at the line distribution for the april fools covers. and??? it's impossible to match up haruka and an's lines 1 for 1 because of the number of people being different person cover but a lot of them do match up either way.
;; tw: mentions of familial death
;; spoilers for: the more more jump! main story, beyond the dream on that day, the vivid old tale and light up the fire
;; they both have the opening two lines about emotions being useless no matter what. and the both of them have emotions they deem "useless" to their goals.
;; we know from beyond the dream on that day that haruka has problems expressing her emotions and is confused as a kid as to why she can't smile like the other kids her age. on the other hand, an is shown to be very expressive in a vivid old tale, to the point of most of the people around her being able to tell what she's feeling at any given point. during chapter 5 she notes that if her unhappiness is audible in her singing, then she just needs to try harder. both of them have different reactions to their own emotions, but they come to the same conclusion. if they appear unhappy and other people notice, then they need to try harder to mask that. they think this as young kids. so imagine that but perpetuated by themselves over several years. and that's how you get main story+ haruka and an! who's relationships with their emotions are even more questionable. because an is still open to talk about problems but adopts a "fuck it we ball" mindset with her own. then (as far as im aware) she hasn't voiced any of her fears regarding the future of vbs to them, because what she's afraid of mirrors what happened with nagi, taiga and her dad when she was a kid. light up the fire also happens but i haven't read that event.. and haruka likely ignored many of her 'negative' emotions during her idol work because they didn't fit in with her image. within mmj, regarding the person problems of the members, haruka (especially in the early events) tends to focus on getting rid of or ignoring the problem rather than dealing with it properly.
;; in the april fools cover haruka gets the line ""no one can oppose, so abide by your desires"", which is interesting because that is the opposite of what she does. she had to have an entire event dedicated to her to say "you're allowed to relax and enjoy yourself, you know that right?"
;; the next line both of them share between the vbs and april fools cover is the third and fourth lines in the chorus, describing how if you see your life as "incorrect" you can throw it away.
;; haruka can fit into this line in the sense that she threw her dream away because she felt she did something "incorrect" (failed to help and unintentionally hurt someone). knowing full well that it was what brought her lots of happiness. an, on the other hand, had someone else try to throw her dream away, because of something she was unaware of at the time, causing her to (at least for a period of time (??)) view the place she grew up in as cruel and "incorrect".
;; the next lyric is in the last chorus, which is about how believing in others blindly can lead them to bury their own beliefs in favour of others', and the singer(s) questioning that (??).
;; an, who was told by everyone around her that nagi was alive and well, and she believed them because she trusted them fully. only to learn that she wasn't, it was kept from her, and for her to question everything she knew about her home.
;; and haruka who listened to the people (one person) around her and buried a part of herself in an attempt to make them happy. because that's all she wanted to do. only for her to go between regretting that choice and fully believing it was the right thing to do.
;; LAST LYRIC!! about how the way people share certain ideals or lies as fact disillusions others.
;; an, was lied to for three years of her life, leading to her own disillusionment of everything she held dear.
;; haruka, who caused someone's disillusionment with something that brought them hope, who tried to stop someone else from finding out the truth so that they could keep their ideals in tact and who personally? was left with her own disillusionment because of her guilt!
;; so yeah, i think both of their devil's manner covers are banger. i love them <3
#the amount of times i just wanted to write “and haruka who is a dick!” because when referencing early mmj events - SHE IS.#i love her but dear miku?? its especially bad in more more xmas and back#<- i get why she was a jerk but off the top of my head she's the one minori tries the hardest to convince in more more xmas to let fans hel#sorry that was a side tangent#I LOVE HARUAN <3#also i was really making educated guesses on most of the stuff to do with an - the only event of hers ive read in full is vivid old tale..#i love her but i just keep forgetting to read her events.. :(#project sekai#haruka kiritani#an shiraishi#shiraishi an#kiritani haruka#haruan

Rambling about Digimon DIMs & Tama Smart Cards that only will appeal to like 5 people here; wanted to get it out of my head, idk.
NGL, I'm kinda salty about the Tama Ticket stuff. But not in the way you probably expect. Salty because, damn, wish it had been like this for the Digimon Vital Bracelet. At every turn Digimon has sort of felt like a test for just Tamagotchi, who then got the "better" stuff, in a way. The first release of the Vital Bracelet was super rocky (given DIM memory/watch locks & charging), but then barely the next year, we got the Smart which was 100% better in those regards, & SmaCards seemed to do more. No watch ID locks or those issues that I am aware of. We later got the Vital Bracelet -V-, which improved some aspects which seemingly should have been there from the start, but again, the Smart seemed more advanced with what sort of thing they were trying to do with it (battery, interaction, sounds, etc), mechanics there aside. (On that note, god, why is the battery life fucking phenomenal on the Uni compared to the VB in every iteration? Lord.)
Now we're to the Uni with the Tickets, & the Vital Bracelet (And Hero, etc) have pretty much been failures because each iteration did not really add anything other than more characters. Battery life was sort of meh each wave, & it's not like we get to care for them in the same means as Tamagotchi. It still baffles me that they didn't try a similar thing with that, such as having your Digimon react & talk to you when you went out walking IRL. Instead we had an extremely limited exercise mission system that still felt like an afterthought in each wave of device, from the original VB to the Hero. From the start, despite BOTH IPs being a "care for a little guy" franchise, Tamas had so much more going on with their watch toys released around the same time? So- going back to the Tickets, which, functionally are the same as the Smart Cards or DIM Cards, just in a far more convenient means of getting them than physical, limited cards (note how for the entire time they were a thing, DIM cards suffered from reading issues & supply issues). And no damn watch locks with this. Unsure if you could share codes or even use them across multiple watches you own, but we'll see.
Just. Idk. It feels like Digimon sometimes is just a sort of throw-away IP for Bandai to test out things for other, better-selling IPs sometimes & I get frustrated at what could have been for Digimon.
