i can’t figure out how to make the Twitter algorithm stop showing me ss because it bums me out. sakura’s narrative arc is such a bummer because for a while in the middle of the story it seems like the more she understands sasuke the less romantic her love for him is. and it’s interesting. And the best a female character in shonen can hope for is to end up in a relationship with a guy who was a dick to her in her tweens and teens. who cares if she was the strongest and most skilled of her generation.

Ninjago Alternative Universe elemental change with Kai having Water and Nya having Fire powers:

Ok, so before you go hear me out.

#Sibling elemental change

I know it's hard to imagine Kai having water powers instead of fire. It probably would look as if didn't fit him. It's way easier to imagine Nya with Fire element I guess.

But I think it'd be interesting to see his character development with that power. The fact that his character wouldn't fit to his power and Especially adding to this Kai's fear of drowning and the fact that he hates water.

It'd be nice character development to see.

At the begining of the season it'd Kai who was kidnapped by skeletons.

Not because he was weaker than her or something. Kai would probably try to safe his sister and by coocidence got kidnapped instead of her. Just to make sure she was safe he prefered to sacrifice himself.

Nya would train why Master Wu and become a strong ninja of fire to rescue her brother. But also bonded with the other ninjas.

In the meantime she'd also think that Jay's flirting attempts are cute-

Later seasons would also have a big impact on Kai.

Kai was Nya's older brother. He practically raised her. So, the fact that she is a ninja fighting evil and risking her life every day would definitely made a big impact on him.

The fact that Nya is stronger than him, and he cannot protect or help her in any way, would cause frustration, anger, and above all, a sense of helplessness in him.

Kai would try to support the team in any way he could, but the helplessness would still make him feel down and be with him.

From time to time he'd act like a big brother.

He wouldn't like Jay's interest in Nya at first, but later would accept it, since she likes him so much.

There wouldn't be a phase of being a green ninja, because well he isn't a ninja.

Instead Nya would like to become one. Not because of the titel or anything, but becuase it'd mean to be better to improve. Nya wants perfection. She wants to be the best version of herself. So she works very hard to achieve that.

She wouldn't be annoying about becoming the green ninja like Kai- She would work hard to be the best.

In the meantime comes Lloyd.

Kai has way better relationship with him here compared to the cannon.

Suprisingly he isn't irritated by him, but just simply takes care with him. He plays kind of big role for young Lloyd.

Kai is patience with him and tries to teach him and be nice. Maybe it'd somehow remind him of rising his younger sister(?) Kai would spend time with him, shove comfort and some support that he needed and just act like a Big Brother towards him.

Their relationship would be pretty strong.

There would happen at slightly little drama between Kai, Nya & Lloyd. [BUT NOTHING TOO SERIOUS]

Nya would be probably a little annoyed why her brother is so nice towards him. She'd be irrited since Lloyd recently just acted like a brat. (He mostly made pranks like making Zane's costume pink and ect.-) And she doesn't understand Kai's indifference towards it.

But everything would resolve, when Nya safed Lloyd from vulcano and unlocked her true potential.

Bla bla.. to lazy to write next seasons.. But basically Kai would be a big support as a red Samurai, Lloyd's role model and he'd slowly come closer to the other teammates.

He wouldn't be just fire ninjas brother, but feel more like a part of the group.

Then the situation with the ghost would happen.

Sensei Wu would tell him about his Water Powers and that's were everything starts to break.

Kai has to learn how control water.

But the point is that Kai hates water.

Kai can't swim, is afraid of drowning and basicly is aquafobic-

This is the time where he has to overcome his fear to safe everyone.

This is the time when everything that he belived turned into a lie. That%'s the time when his life turned upside down and just everything is a mess.

He tries to deny it. He doesn't belive in it. He hates it.

He hates water.

But in the end he begins his training, because the life of the loved one's is WAY more important.

He starts training with master Wu. Nothing goes well, because of his character that is a completely opposite to this power.

Moreover he got a few panic attacts while being in the deep water that doesn't end well.

Kai hates this power. He doens't accept it as his. He doesn't accept it being part of him. He's basically forced to learn it because of the situation and persuading the master.

But in the end his able to overcome it.

By the talk with someone he's able to see the source of his fear. He finally sees the beauty of his power.

He takes a deep breath and immerses himself in the water, clearing his mind and he's calm.

He's part of the water and water is part of him.

Kai accepts this part of him and is able to control it.

Absolutely I hope that I've demonstrated the true potential of this idea, and how it could indeed turn into something really cool.

Meet, Honey Sugar

So the votes were in and you guys all voted that you wanted to know more about Honey, so here is my blog post about her (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) also yes I am posting this before I post those requests I did for The let me draw You're welcome home OC box thing I only have one more character to draw and then I'll be finished and I will post it Because this will be my proudest work of drawing six characters with lots of detail into these boxes :) It was a lot of fun practice but until then I hope you enjoy this post in the meantime

HOW SHE BECAME TO BE!:

I recently made Honey last year A lot of my OCs I made last year but they have stuck with me since then which is the first for me in Oh season general usually a lot of times I make one off characters. But there's something special about these characters I just Don't know how to explain it but I think this is the first time I've actually felt a deep connection with something that I created like an OC because usually my OC's had never really had a deep connection with me they were always just one offs or a few weeks I was connected with them but My current OCs very connected Well enough yapping about this let me tell you about Honey.

So at the beginning of the year originally Honey was a one off character that I made for roleplay me and my friend were role playing some Welcome Home stuff and we needed a relationship for Howdy we did not know who to ship him with so we decided to quickly create a character that would be perfect for the prompt that we were doing So I decided to make a quick baker character that would have her bakery right next to Howdy and they would have like a very competitive type of relationship because they're both selling goods she's selling breads, sweets ect And of course him selling general goods. They decided to have a competition on who can make the most sales which would be Howdy's processed bread from a factory versus honey baked goods like freshly baked stuff but of course Honey wins Because everybody's going to want fresh versus overly processed bread So of course since she won she could name whatever she wanted for a prize so she said take me out to dinner and when I kept playing her for this relationship Howdy which their whole relationship was based on teasing and her pointing out the obvious in his flaws and a snarky / funny way but they balanced each other out She was sweet but also spicy, I kept developing her character more and more she wasn't just this baker chick anymore She was becoming a character and then that's when I realized Oh my God I love this OC so much So I just had to make her as her own character.

Here was the first rendition of honey when I first drew her and when my art wasn't the best I'm glad I improved lol So I had the basic idea that she was going to be Eddie's cousin as well as a love interest for Howdy in me and Friends RP So originally I wanted her to look very cute almost cottage core-esque you can say and the reason why she was wearing bee earrings and a necklace was because of her name being Honey originally she was about to be a bee as well but I decided not to make her a bee Because it was difficult for me to draw and because I thought it was more of a fun dynamic with Howdy to have her being a humanoid puppet versus a bug type puppet but yeah a lot has changed from her design like for example I did change up the color palette because I thought the colors look dreadful together in this I mean in their own way they do look okay but I much prefer her current color palette then this old color palette I had for her and the hair I like her curly bob a lot more than the Bob with a braid that I originally gave her Plus her eyes don't look soulless anymore like it does here lol

I know you've seen these previous two pictures before but I'm going to a really like deep dive into how I designed the character as well as explaining the character lol So this was her second rendition and her most current rendition actually as you could see in the newer piece on top I did a new color palette a whole new style for her but I did kept some elements of the old one like her coloring for her felt and her nose shape and somewhat of her eye shape I closed her eyes I decided to fix her hair make it more of a curlier bob I gave her flowers to add more to that cottage court s look and by the way the dress is actually in apron dress If you took off the actual apron part of the dress it would actually just be a white '70s peasant style blouse with a pink peasant style skirt with a petticoat underneath this is my most favorite rendition of her and I'm probably going to keep it like this unless I decide to experiment with her outfits for different seasons which I'm planning to do with all my characters.

Here's a close-up of slightly older rendition of how I used to draw her face before now I made it no tip on the bottom and I made the nose all a little bit more dynamic but still the same ol sweet Honey So now I'm going to talk about some interesting facts about honey

FACTS ABOUT HONEY:

Honey Sugar It's not a nickname It is actually her real name that her parents gave her that everybody assumes it's just a nickname or just her trying to be unique but no it's actually her real name

She has a southern accent

She's 23

Honey grew up in a bakery Her mother is Southern and her father is French So she had a very strict pastry like upbringing so she is very particular about how things are done especially when you have a French pastry stuff as a father

Honey is type 1 diabetic She usually has really low blood sugar and I like to think as she bakes when she feels her blood sugar get low she likes to eat what she's made to help it out

Honey is usually a sweet woman she tries to be like the southern belle like woman like her mama but press her buttons the wrong way or do something that she views as disrespectful or uncouth You will see this normally sweet southern woman bring out the spice and she's not afraid to fight either She can be mean if you get on her bad side but normally she doesn't like to be like that

Honey is actually a very smart business woman She knows about what her customers want supply and demand-wise And she really knows how to pronounce herself and her pastries and sweets and all sorts of baked goods Her strategy is to always leave the door slightly open or leave somewhere that has a crack in it so the neighbors can smell fresh baked goods and that will make them want to come in

Honey is a workaholic She loves to bake so much that she'll end up baking up a storm usually tending to forget to eat and take breaks and just completely lose track of time sometimes neighbors will have to come in there to remind her to take breaks and eat and make sure she hasn't baked so much to the point where it's unsellable

One time Honey baked so much that the neighborhood had to have a baked goods eating contest because there were just so many pastries and if you're wondering what type of pastry it was jelly donuts they were popular and she went through one of her moments where she just non-stop baking in the zone and yeah she ended up filling up the whole shop and a little bit outside her shop of jelly donuts

I would say if Honey would have any close relationships with any neighbors it would probably be Howdy Poppy and Eddie, Howdy Because they're both business oriented and sometimes they might get competitive, Poppy I like to think that they would bake together and just talk and have tea and you know have some lady chats hehe, And Eddie I feel like they would talk in countryisms a lot and just have some similar experiences to things again like loving their jobs I feel like they would be really good friends

Before moving to Home, Honey used to own a bakery that was very successful where she would get catering jobs for weddings birthday parties gatherings etc and it was really good business The only reason why she moved away from the city and to Home was because she wanted to have a new market where it wasn't so stressful like it was in the city Just countless orders but in home it's relaxing it's peaceful she can just bake bread and pastries to people that seemed like they would appreciate it more

Some flaws that Honey has is that she'll make way too much sometimes enough to feed an army, she's very time blind She tries to be on time but when you're in the zone baking a lot of stuff you lose track of time So that's why she makes sure she has timers for important stuff, She is a bit of baked good snob she's very picky and particular about how things are baked and how things are served when you make baked goods whether that being a pastry or savory sort of baked good The reason for that is her upbringing of having a French patissier as a father and being trained hard and her family bakery to make the best pastries they could make so that's why she's a bit of a pastry snob and will nitpick the littlest things if not done correctly, though she is trying to get better at not doing that though as not everyone is a professional baker like her, And she has a habit of spraying way too much perfume on herself She likes to smell good but sometimes it's a little bit of overkill And it's just too much It's overpowering, She can be a klutz at times especially when she's serving when people order like a pastry and a coffee or a hot chocolate she goes out and serves and she's the only one working she might end tripping on herself and spilling whatever she had to serve onto the customer That's a little joke as well

Since Honey is half French She can speak French very fluently and use the French terms for certain pastries and savory baked goods and will use the French terms for the methods that are used with a perfect accent and everything and people are usually impressed when she speaks French

I still do ship her with Howdy because of the connection of how I created her as a character so it has a special place in my heart (but it's not a main focus)

Her bakery is called Honey's Sugar Stop

If she had one of the it's for you phone phrases it would be: "Hello, Sugarcube, this is Honey's Sugar Stop this is Honey speaking would you like to place an order?......Hello?.... Are you there sugar?........*taps foot*...... Look sweetie I can't Just stay on the phone line the whole time I got some rolls in the oven that I better take out of the oven before they burn, So if you have an order you like to place for the best baked goods in Home Please call me up If not please don't waste precious bake'n time....."**CLICK**

Well that's all what I could think of her at the moment I might add some more stuff to characters I might change some stuff I don't know but so far this is what I got for honey You know as time pass she can develop more but I feel like she was a fun character to develop And I had a lot of fun creating her I hope you guys really get a kick out of her I know this was a very long post of me really going in deep diving into how I made her as a character as my OC but I feel like this was really fun to make and I hope you guys have a fun time reading it- Mystic🧁

If/when Celeborn and Galadriel reunite next season, I hope it'll be at the end of the season.

I hope Celeborn is introduced at the start - but in a separate plot so we can get to know him as an individual. The "male wife"/trophy husband "I love my wife" memes are funny but in all seriousness, I'd really like them to make him interesting.

I've never been drawn to Celeborn in the series but they have a chance to flesh him out on screen in their vision of the story and that's interesting.

And in the meantime, I hope Galadriel has a separate plotline where she still believes him dead.

I'd like to see how/if they'll depict Galadriel's mirror. Or, how the crown's injury might affect her. Or any other direction that involves her working through internal stuff like her relationship with power. And once their respective plotlines have ended, Celeborn finds her/comes home.

(I'm assuming he'll be the one to find her and show up, as she's convinced he's dead. And that is kinda reminiscent of stories from WW1 where soldiers who were reported dead turned up years later.)

I think it would serve them well to develop as characters separately first, albeit for different reasons. And since they have many characters with storylines to cover, it seems it would fit best at the end of the season. And would give more emotional payoff with a whole season's buildup where we've gotten to know Celeborn as well.

MAYNCIENT :: Day 10 - Promise

"I told you I'd be back for them."

Mnemosyne (angel) belongs to @hermits-hovel. The explanation of this sequence got *very* long so I'm putting it under a cut but MASSIVE ARIADNE LORE DUMP LMAO

Amaurotine social conventions discourage the expression of extreme emotions, which could make the processing of things like grief and alienation difficult when there isn't a cultural framework to acknowledge those feelings in the first place. Ariadne, who lost her brother, Midas, in an accident, has a very difficult time adjusting to his loss - most Amaurotines have only experienced death through the deliberate choice of returning to the Star, which is universally considered a beautiful and respectable event. This disconnection between the grief that Ariadne felt at his passing was at odds with the pride that she was expected to show, and she withdrew from almost every aspect of her life - stopped going to theatre rehearsals, barely showed up to her classes, avoided her friends and loved ones (there was a fairly dramatic breakup with Hades at this point after he refused to fetch her brother from the Aetherial Sea - he didn't understand why she felt so despondent about Midas' death which. Boy howdy does that become a Plot Point Later) (he did try to help but he absolutely was not equipped to do so).

Over time and with the very patient help of her mentor, Halmarut, she slowly rejoined society after graduating by taking on a student-teacher job at Halmarut's personal request. She still wasn't fully comfortable being open with other people after her withdrawal and instead developed a sort of party-girl persona to interact with others. As long as she was having Fun, she didn't have to think about everything she had lost in the meantime. She met the rest of her eventual friends and lovers in the GAP at this point, starting with Timoria, who she first met in a bathroom at a party while she was crying and Mori and Ari's woo-girl energy fed off each other as they navigated Amaurot.

Of course, new interpersonal relationships and dynamics means More Feelings and Ariadne still hadn't really ever stopped grieving so she ends up easily overwhelmed by her emotions, which caused her to act out in erratic and sometimes self-destructive ways, including the ever-green clown daughter favorite Causing Problems on Purpose. When the inevitable consequences of these actions backfire on her in small or less small ways, she tries to drown them out by escalating the FUN and attempting to block out her own memories to get through the day, first by narcotics and when that doesn't work, she pressures her friend Mnemosyne, whose literal job is preserving memories, into the experimental field of removing memories. She isn't necessarily just banking sad memories, but anything that causes her to feel what she determines is Too Many Feelings.

(yes we're doing a self-inflicted eternal sunshine of the spotless mind kind of thing uwu)

Mnemo is uncomfortable with this, as it's not really what he is supposed to be doing with his powers, but Ariadne assures him that she will eventually come back to collect the archived memories, which Mnemo preserves in a crystal he developed for this very purpose. She spends years not coming back for those memories, though, instead compounding the problem by increasingly dropping memories off with Mnemo until it becomes clear to her girlfriend, Minthe, that something is terribly wrong with Ariadne's memory. Minthe confronts Ari about this, and Ari promises that she'll go and fetch the memories from the crystal (we've been affectionately calling it Ariadne's cringe compilation crystal) (there's a playlist).

Going back for the memories had its own issues and inevitable fallout, but Ariadne did try to regain those memories and work through them with her friends - one at a time, based on what she feels she can deal with. She doesn't manage to get all of them back before the End of Days - meaning that there's a memory crystal floating around with some Very Strong Feelings that's a repeated McGuffin through the eras in blorboverse.

After quite a while, I present to you the return of the themed headshots! For today, we have the purple beans! While deciding on the characters themselves, I specifically went with characters that are not part of my main story Allmentaly. Mainly so I can get some notes down for some characters of my other WIPs. Considering how often I am currently taking notes, I hope I can develop some of the many side projects a bit further soon :3

This lovely bean is part of the raptor pack Kaijuru is in. Mystic's role is to scout the area whenever the pack wanders to a new location. She is one of the oldest raptors of the pack and knows the dangers of the world quite well, so her eye can often spot potential dangers quicker than the other members

This shy dragon lives in the Hybrid Colony located between the Rainwing forest and the Kingdom of Mud. He has been living there for his whole live and has a little cottage close to the library. He loves reading books and studies specifically how fruits benefit the health of dragons. His main focus in books are therefore fruits, medical studies and romance books! Yep, the latter sounds quite odd considering the previous descriptions of Jasper XD But this bean is a true lover of the most cheesy romance book you can think of! That being said, you might now be able to guess how his relationship with Mango is going!

⭐ Starfin of the Depthwings! - OG designer: aurora_rainsea on Instagram

Starfin was named after the star in-between her split fins on her neck. It's become her trademark and she never misses the opportunity to show it off! Yep, she is super proud of herself. Starfin usually spends her whole day to collect scales! Mainly fish scales or dragon scales, but her collection does have some more rare scales in it! In the evening, after returning home, she starts doing her main work - crafting earrings, necklaces, piercings, bracelets, home decor or even weapons (mainly ones that are used for ceremonies, since the decor she puts on these isn't practical in battle)

This high ranking soldier is not only part of the army of the Nightwing kingdom, but also a mentor for Moondust. Training the future queen was no easy task, especially in a time of war! It was Battlemakers idea to sent the young princess to the Skywing kingdom and let the Night/Ice/Sandwing hybrid get trained there. The Queen - Milky Way - agreed, trusting Battlemakers judgement. After all, it was this snarly Nightwing, who protected the princess from an assassin and lost her left eye in this incident!

Dev Diary #1 (Oct 27, 2024) - It All Starts Here!

Hi! I'm Pixie, and I am currently in active development on a new large-scale, fully voice-acted & immersive Skyrim follower mod named Seraph!

I've decided to start up a regular Developer Diary (You Are Here) to share progress & roadmap the release as she gets further along! Also if you haven't already, join the Discord (link after the jump) to stay updated & involved or just to say hi 🩷

Here's some early development highlights so far:

✨️ For Seraph's custom follower framework, I've built a new & improved core framework that is much more effective, elegant, & efficient than the framework most follower mod authors start with, & one of the benefits of this is that it's much harder for external problematic mods like AFT to break her brain!

✨️ Seraph's character and story has been deeply developed already, & her personal quests will be expansive! Her main personal questline is currently planned to play out in four acts/chapters, with an optional fifth chapter for...

✨️ Romance 💖 Seraph will be romanceable (& marriageable) for certain types of player characters! Without saying anything spoiler-y, Seraph's romance is not frivolous, exploitative, or lazy (as is often the case with romance options in many mods out there), it is an important narrative aspect of her character, and adds to a story that plays out over the course of your adventures together. Romance is not the main focus of the mod, & is completely optional, though just as much time & care is being put into it as any other part of the mod.

✨️ Seraph has a complex Approval system that feels much like the companion approval in Baldur's Gate 3, which has already been built & implemented. Your choices will matter, what you say and do will affect your relationship & things can turn out very differently based on dialogue chosen, playstyle choices, and more.

✨️ Seraph is feature-rich, and full of customizable toggles, options, and mechanics that range from functional and helpful to ones that just make her feel alive and fully fleshed out as a character. She can spar with you, have discussions on books and lore topics, bail you out of prison (with potential Approval ramifications!), won't call you the Dragonborn if you don't want her to, and a lot more. She also has all of the customary bells & whistles like follow distance controls, lore-friendly summon ability, relax/sandbox behavior options, etc. Many of these features are already built & implemented, or in various stages of that process.

✨️ I've also been working closely with my fantastic 3D artist @legendaryfirewizard (the artist who created Redcap's custom helmet model & several of Xelzaz's custom models) on a visual centerpiece that I don't want to spoil just yet, but that is central to Seraph's story & makes her very unique from any other follower mod.

There's so much more I'm excited to share, but without spoiling too many of the character & backstory details juuuust yet, I hope this first Dev Diary can give a small idea of what I'm hoping to achieve with this follower.

I've learned so much over the past few years of creating mods, and I've grown so much as a creator and a person in that time. Seraph is my love letter to creating, to character writing, to fantasy and RPG's, and to The Elder Scrolls which starting with Morrowind inspired me to imagine characters and stories within the world of Tamriel and beyond.

so uhh i got summoned to asurei court, if anyone's interested in my testimony papers, theyre down below the cut. (aka my whole take on how i believe their dynamic would develop in cannon)

asurei isn’t for everyone & its whole point is unhealthy dependence.. toxic yuri if u will.. anything resembling a healthy relationship would only be in one of the alt universes created by the 3rd impact 💀 rei and asuka both have what the other wants (whether it be the worth asuka puts on recognition of piloting skills or rei's desire to break from mindless obedience like asuka seems to do so easily.) They both hate and admire each other for this, and asuka specifically expresses this by lashing out at rei. asuka's whole relationship w lesbian comphet plays a HUGE role into all of this but let’s gloss over it for the time being. (now, with asurei u gotta get a bit delusional cuz cannon doesn’t give us much so from here on out is just my opinion on how it'd play out.)

in terms of rei's POV in this:

rei hates the attention they gets from men, and is especially disgusted by gendo's fake kindness. he sees rei as a replaceable doll and pushes yui's image on them. gendo has never actually seen rei for who they really are, and rei later begins to hate and despise not only gendo but themselves too. in the anime, rei is shown to have self destructive tendencies & suicidal ideation because not only are they constantly being replaced & having their memory wiped, but each time they forget any sort of emotion that they learn in the meantime. recall the scene in which rei, right after being "revived" and left with no memory, sees gendo's glasses. although they cant remember anything, its hinted that their "soul" still remembers and hates him. rei tries to break the glasses but in the end, they’re still unable to defy and break free from their situation. feeling frustrated and helpless, rei starts crying & remarks how this should be the first time they've experienced it but somehow it feels like its not. back to the present, reis acting very reckless in battle and basically using themselves as a meat shield. they're so full of self-hate, and seeing asuka's obvious inferiority to them just upsets them even more. why does she put so much worth on the one thing that acts like a plague to them? compared to these pointless test results on a screen, asuka has something so much more valuable. the ability to think for themselves, to not be someone's doll. asuka's inferiority is almost insulting. rei verbally lashes out at asuka in the elevator, showing defiance that they never knew they could produce. it felt almost liberating. they find that being around asuka gives them emotions that they've always longed for, no matter how ugly they may be. they soon find themselves seeking asuka out, and the inferiority that was once insulting became a means to control and keep her close. asuka, someone who was seemingly invincible and can roam free without care, has one weakness that causes her to crack and shatter from the slightest touch. and that weakness is none other than rei themselves. rei becomes possessive in a way that they've never known possible. so much so that a part of them starts to hate themselves, fearing they've become just like their abuser gendo. nonetheless, rei begins to value their life more. they become deathly afraid of dying & being replaced by some mindless clone that has forgotten everything they now know about asuka and themself.

now what is asuka doing in all of this?

asuka deals with a lot of comphet and its an integral part of her character, so much so that it doesn’t seem right to not mention it. but to quickly summarize, because of this she has a love-hate relationship with attention from men. she feels disgusted by it but gets extremely jealous when it seems like another girl might replace her. then comes rei. (now what most ppl don’t seem to notice is asuka didnt start off hating rei, she tried to be friends but ever since the beginning misato has ALWYAYS pitted them against each other. this of course led asuka to feeling threatened & seeing rei as an enemy. especially since it involves piloting ability, something that asuka sees as her whole point of living.) she begins to hate her because how can someone who is so good at piloting be so brainless and doll-like. that’s exactly what asuka was trying so hard to not become! in this aspect, rei's entire existence defies what asuka has tried so hard to believe in up to this point. her hate & inferiority towards rei is only made worse when she sees that they're not only being objectified by men, but are seemingly unbothered by it unlike asuka. rei is now constantly on her mind, and asuka starts to realize that what she's feeling towards them isn’t just hate. its around the time of the elevator scene that these confusing emotions and inferiorities are at their peak. right after this, asuka goes into battle & is ordered to be rei's backup. she defies this order but receives a mental attack from an angel that causes her to re-live all of her trauma & comphet issues. the person that saved her from this is none other than rei. at this point asuka is at an all-time low, and states that she'd rather be left for dead than saved by someone like rei. she’s still confused by her feelings towards rei, but right now her hatred and insecurity is taking priority. its right after this battle that her synchro rates plummet and she loses the #1 thing she based her life worth on. she then goes out to die in an abandoned building but is eventually retrieved by NERV. I believe that during this time alone, she’s also wallowing in her feelings for rei and coming to terms with a lot of comphet stuff, especially after that psychological attack. right after this the world like ends or whatever but lets forget that for now & extend time cuz the gays need it 🥰 .

rei and asuka at this point realize their feelings in one way or another, and there's a lot of tension in their conversations. asuka is at a very fragile point rn bc of all the stuff that just went on, and rei is unsure how to go about things, half due to their inexperience & half due to their fear of becoming like gendo. however, asuka realizes rei is acting different from before, and advances on them as a way of lashing out. but to her surprise rei is undefiant and actually willingly helpless in her hands. she feels a rush of superiority and is amused by how inexperienced rei is. she also realizes that unlike her previous experiences with men (like when she tried to kiss shinji but didnt want to see, smell, taste, or even feel it & had a mental breakdown afterwards lol ) she actually likes it!? the romantic/sexual affirmation that asuka has always wanted from men like kaji is being fulfilled by rei in a way that asuka feels completely in control & comfortable. she's not forcing herself or being objectified, but rather is taking the lead. this is something she never imagined possible before. and all of this is with rei to boot! the rei that, in asuka's eyes, has always looked down on her and been unobtainable is now melting in her hands like putty. there’s a sense of accomplishment she feels, which makes her want to push rei even more. she finally has authority and to make herself feel better, she takes it out on rei through advances like this. she goes further and further, and in an ironic way, uses intimacy as a form of self-harm. she feels shame and despises herself for doing such things with ill-intent, and with another woman at that. its a toxic relationship that tries to fill the hole in her heart, but only leads to a bigger one forming.

when asuka first advanced onto rei, they felt something unlike anything before. unlike when gendo would often touch their shoulder, rei didnt recoil from asuka's touch. rei also felt something similar to asuka, in that the person who always seemed unbound by anything in now giving them her undivided attention. the fact that this came from an act of anger didnt really bother rei, since they knew from the beginning that was one of the only ways to get asuka to even spare them a glance. rei would gladly become hated if it meant binding asuka to them. in a mix of touch-starvedness & unhealthy dependency on asuka, rei kept looking forward to any interacting with asuka, since it was what really made them feel alive. asuka slowly becomes rei's world and meaning for living, but they eventually realize that causes a great insecurity. asuka is independent and can go anywhere she wants if she feels like it. from rei's pov, asuka desperately wants attention from men, something that rei could never give her. rei's afraid that asuka will leave them, & to tie asuka down they play the role of a villain. rei keeps asuka feeling insecure by becoming what asuka envisioned them as, and slowly starts hacking away at asuka's Achille's heel. rei desperately uses the short time that asuka has given them to engrain themself into her, so much so that asuka would be nothing without them. rei cannot let asuka realize her worth for fear that she would leave them. rei notices that asuka enjoys seeing them helpless and plays the part, almost like a honeytrap. slowly tho I believe that rei starts to take control of the relationship in hopes of making asuka dependent on them.

Asurei is in no way a wholesome relationship, and ik that’s not for everyone.. my vision of a happy end for them would be both of them becoming comfortable in their relationship and finding that the actions they once used to express hatred for themselves and each other is now slowly becoming fueled by love and desire for each other. They form a very unhealthy co-dependence on each other, but for them it works. They cant envision a world without the other in it.

Of course, thank you so much for this!! I’ll just give you a basic rundown of the three I’ve got so far:

Ezra Caulder, he/him, Carlos ship, Justice Smith FC. Lives at the Palm Woods with his parents and eleven-year-old sister, Destiny, who’s a child actress mainly seen in commercials (not in an exploitive way, though, she really loves acting and their parents are very good and would let her stop whenever she wanted to). Incredibly shy and awkward and doesn’t really have many friends, and prefers more academic pursuits rather than any attempt to get into the arts, so he doesn’t really interact with the boys or anyone at the Palm Woods at first until he winds up getting roped into one of their schemes. Kind of has an insta-crush on Carlos, but doesn’t ever think it could be reciprocated until he literally becomes the other boy’s bi awakening. Out of the rest of the boys, he winds up becoming closest to Logan, since they’re both more academically-minded, and also develops an odd opposites-attract friendship with Katie.

Nicki Wainwright, she/her, James ship, Hunter Schafer FC. An aspiring actress who’s lived in the Palm Woods with her single dad for over a year before the show starts, but often has a hard time getting rolls once the casting directors know she’s trans. Has also been burned from a lot of guys she’s been interested in because of this fact, so she’s developed a strong disdain for guys with big egos. As a result, she and James do not get along from the moment Big Time Rush arrives in LA, but she still winds up interacting with the guys a lot since she’s friends with Camille, and they wind up clashing and bickering a lot, although of course eventually they become friends and, finally, start dating. Nicki is confident but not arrogant, bold and not afraid to speak her mind, very talented and she knows it, but also has a layer on insecurity underneath due to what she’s been through that’s hard to break through to. Becomes really good friends with all of the guys as well as Camille and Jo, but she’s ultimately closest to Carlos because they egg each other’s chaos on.

Amara Castro, she/her, Kendall ship, Isabela Merced FC. As an aspiring writer, Amara is kind of a rarity among the Palm Woods crowd of actors and singers. She’s been working on a fantasy-slash-mystery novel since she was thirteen but hasn’t ever had anything published, so the only way she’s able to stay at the Palm Woods is because her older brother and sibling are minor celebrity actors. Initially meets the band after she loses a printed chapter of her manuscript and they find it and return it to her, and though she prefers to stay isolated they wind up working their ways into her heart. She’s a lot like Pippa from A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, very intense and driven and focused, but she also has an unexpected sense of humour and a very kind heart. Initially bonds with Kendall over having not-so-good parent relationships (Kendall with his dad and Amara with both of hers) and wanting to take care of the people they care about, and then eventually they become a super cute couple. Winds up becoming the closest to James out of the rest of the boys, which no one expects but everyone agrees makes a weird kind of sense, and also winds up basically adopted by Mrs. Knight and a big sister figure to Katie.

And that’s all I’ve got for now!! I do intend to create a Logan ship and potentially one or two more OCs besides, but for right now have these babies. I am planning on making proper intro posts for them, but in the meantime anyone can feel free to send any asks they want for them!! Thanks again for asking!! <3

We’ve had a lot of rain lately over here and the weather has changed so suddenly and so fast that I got tonsillitis… At least I can breathe now!! I was gonna add a page in colour for this chapter but I was not in the mood, plus I had my hand busy holding and using the handkerchief. Sorry, I may do it for the next chapter.

Another day, another chapter. The story is clearly reaching its peak. With the SouGen duo getting more and more popular comes trouble, and that means that, at some point, they’ll have to reveal their relationship. Hopefully they won’t need to think about marrying women like their grandparents! Well, we’ll see what sensei has in store, we’ll have to bite our fingernails in the meantime. And let’s keep our fingers crossed for a Tsutamaru x Takeichi spin-off, right?

BTW, I know that not all the chapters I’m storing as Volume 9 are from that volume, so when volume 9 will be officially out, expect many chapters to be down due to reorganisation, don’t freak out and be patient, please.

Welcome back, anon! First off, thanks for sending two rude messages so I can respond to one and use the other to block you 👋

To be clear, the only reason I’m giving this the the time of day is because I think the “man pain” issue is worth addressing.

I’m always open to talking about this show and issues with misogyny, representation, race, etc. Even with people I don’t completely agree with.

What I’m not gonna do is discuss it with someone who can’t converse like a rational adult and finds joy in sending toxic, judgmental anonymous messages, so this little exchange of ours is over after this.

I am so sorry that my feelings about the show don’t line up exactly with what you want them to be. Sounds like you have some pretty strong feelings of your own though, so here’s an idea 💡 : post them on your own blog!

Shockingly, I’m capable of considering that there might be multiple perspectives on specific decisions the show makes. And that more than one of them can be valid at the same time!

I completely get how this could be viewed as growth for Tim at Lucy’s expense. I agree that sucks. I’ve posted multiple times that I will be LIVID if Lucy doesn’t actually end up with any type of storyline of her own or character development resulting from all the shit they put her through, and just ends up as a supporting character in another Tim-centric SL.

But, I can feel that way and also have other opinions all at the same time:

- I am glad they let Tim be the flawed human instead of the victim.

- I’m glad they didn’t villify Lucy in the breakup because god knows how quickly this fandom would tear her to pieces if she ever did to Tim what Tim just did to her.

- After years of Lucy doing barely anything on screen other than the odd UC op and propping up storylines for Tim and Chenford, I’m glad her character is 3-dimensional again both in the relationship and outside of it.

- I am heartbroken over the break up. I can’t watch the scene without bawling my eyes out. I feel nauseous thinking about it. But I am also glad they now have another chance to get it right this time for Chenford. Specifically because I love Lucy. Because I feel like she deserved so much better than what she got the first time.

- I’d love to see Tim value her and fight for her instead of just having her drop everything on a dime for him bc he deigned to look her direction after getting dumped by his girlfriend.

- I’d love to see him deal with all his unresolved baggage and realize what a complete and total idiot he is for throwing away what they had.

- And I’d love to see Lucy [continue to] recognize her own worth and thrive in the meantime. I am SO proud of who she’s been this season. And I hope she becomes even stronger and more sure of herself.

- I hope she recognizes she deserves so much better than what Tim gave her and that his decision has nothing to do with her worth (even if it feels like that at first), and I hope she *demands* better from him before even considering taking him back.

I’m not psychic. I don’t know what they have planned for the rest of the season (and no, I’m not gonna jump to conclusions off of a few vague interviews either). Maybe I’ll love it; maybe I’ll hate it. We’ll see.

Either way, I’m clear that’s it’s still just a TV show and that these are fictional characters. Are you?

I am so happy that I finally found someone I can talk to about my resident evil 8 Au! It has been stuck in my mind forever and I have been dying to find someone to talk to about it! I have a couple more ideas that go along with it!

First Miranda 100% experimented on the family because she wanted to see that interaction between the magic and the black mold. I think that she would force Mirabel to do it just as a sick sort of test and to see if she actually would. Maribel was so afraid of what would happen to them if she didn't that she went ahead and did it even though she hated herself for a long time afterwards for doing it.

Mirabel doesn't have her glasses anymore because the mutations fixed her eyes and Miranda refuses to allow her to wear a fake pair because in her words "You are my perfect creation You will not sully yourself with fake imperfections." She like Isabela has to play a perfect act but unlike Isabela if she falters or doesn't do what Miranda wants she will be severely punished which doesn't happen very often, her punishments are considered severe even for The lords because in Miranda's eyes she supposed to be her perfect creation and she's not allowed to falter from it so anyone that Mirabel does save she does so in extreme secrecy oftentimes faking their deaths so that Miranda doesn't know The few times that she was caught were extremely bad, to the point where a couple of the Lords had to step in to get Miranda to stop before she actually killed her.

Anyone that she is forced to experiment on that dies is buried in a graveyard near her house she gives them a proper burial and tombstones and personally takes care of each one to try and make amends.

I also agree that her silk can be used for armor it is extremely sturdy and it's basically indestructible she also can use it to cocoon people but she doesn't because when she cocoons people it liquefies anyone inside, which she learned the hard way when she was trying to stop someone from dying when she was little. She also not only can control moths but they are like small little aspects of herself kind of like the Ravens are for Miranda.

Her relationship with Monroe is kind of weird because he to me is very childlike especially when it comes to the other lords (calling Mother Miranda just mother and referring to the other Lords as his brother and sisters) he tries to manipulate her but in a way that would make Miranda view him in a better light kind of like a middle brother annoying their youngest sister because their mom's favorite. Alcina 100% was extremely excited by the idea of actually raising a daughter who she could watch grow/age/ develop, The daughters were actually really excited at the idea of having a baby sister that they could watch and protect and play with and were heartbroken when Mirabel had to go especially Daniela(she was so excited not to be the youngest anymore and to have a baby sister). So when Miranda gives Mirabel back her family not only is alcina extremely jealous/envious but so are the daughters because "if Miranda was just going to give her a family why couldn't she have been in their family?" The girls don't understand that it's her biological family.

I don't think that Miranda would have the creepy Casita collapse when she punished them (That would just be a lot more work for her because then she would have to figure out where Maribel and the family could stay in the meantime) I think she got mad at Mirabel for not paying attention to her work like she had been before because her family was there and went to "lightly correct her" and basically slapped her across the face in front of the entire family they went to protest/ protect her and that's where they all got punished.

Speaking of the family I realized I didn't go into how they were kidnapped or how they meet Mirabel again. When they were kidnapped Miranda basically just drugged All of them one by one (starting with Dolores) in the night and put them in a giant metal box with air slits that was completely soundproof she was thoughtful enough to put some food and water in there but that was it, The time it took to get from the encanto back to the village was like 2 weeks almost 3 Miranda refused to talk to them during that entire time so by the time they get there they are completely terrified and have no idea what's going on Miranda then drugs them again cleans them up ties them all up and kind of like Ethan has a meeting with all of the Lords she has the four Lords come first and basically tells them that the people in front of them are a surprise present for The fifth Lord "for all of her hard work and devotion" she doesn't say her name because she also wants it to be a surprise for the family as well just because she wants to see their reactions because she's sadistic like that. When Mirabel gets there they have bags over their heads as well as gagged so she doesn't know who they are at first, Miranda basically give her a speech about how she's perfect/is so devoted and loyal That Miranda decided to give her an award because unlike any of the other Lords she doesn't ask for things she tells Mirabel to close her eyes takes the bags off of all of their heads then tells her to open her eyes when she does she sees her entire family sitting there she is of course absolutely shocked and horrified but plays it off really well and acts extremely grateful and happy that this happened.

When the family first got to her house Maribel was kind of standoffish she didn't really know how to interact with her family and was afraid of accidentally hurting them/having them see her as a monster but couldn't help having an extremely obvious soft spot for Antonio she of course told them the danger that they were all in the first night they were there because she didn't want them to be caught off guard by anything else but it didn't really click until Miranda punished them just how dangerous everything is.

Of course ‼️‼️ I mean even if I wasn’t into RE I’d listen. But Iam. And I will listen closer and draw <33

ANYWAYYYYYY MIRANDA. We have beef. I mean I’ve never liked her. But making Mirabel experiment on her own family??? You know I think this might be the one time where she breaks down and tries to defy Mother Miranda. I mean it’s bad enough she has to do it to innocent people, and be just can’t with her family. I mean she ends up doing it anyway, probably because Miranda threatened to kill them but still, she was so guilty 😭😭

Mirabel being close with Lady D and her daughters before hand (and I assume after) is sweet though. Probably the only somewhat positive thing going on for her before her family came. I mean Alcina was basically a second/foster mother to Mirabel. And the girls really loved her, and actually felt some sympathy for her whenever she got punished. Daniela feeling said and getting to feel like a big sister is so important to me what <\\\\33 and Mirabel’s powers‼️‼️ The moths being a small part of her reminds me of The Artist from DBD, that’s so cool 🤭 glad you agree on the armor part 👹👹

Also the perfect thing, I’m not surprised. Mirabel definitely has more pressure to follow Miranda’s orders, more than the other lords. Not even because she’s youngest, she is by far the most suitable of the them, and therefore, Miranda wants her to reflect that perfection. Mirabel being punished is so sad 😭 Miranda is not above getting psychological and physical either in the game. Which is INSANE 💀 and then her family got punished for defending her, which is wild 🦈

ALSO HER KIDNAPPING HER FAMILY ONE BY ONE WHAT DUH…Mirabel was probably so scared for her family, wondering what Miranda had done to them (though she technically hadn’t)t done anything serious— not yet anyway). She just acted it out and Miranda somehow fell for it. Heisenberg was probably rolling his eyes during Miranda’s speech because 1, he hates her, and 2, he’s tired of hearing Miranda drone on and on (again) about how Mirabel is the best among them lmao

Also Mirabel trying to warm them to basically always be on your toes and walk around on eggshells around Miranda. She probably felt so bad when they got punished because she felt like she did ‘t protect them or tell them enough to keep them safe and away from Miranda’s wrath 🧌

you think Miranda like??? Projects onto Mirabel. Like she dresses Mirabel how she would’ve dressed her daughter if she was still alive. And when Mirabel gets older she slowly lets Mirabel make her own clothes (with her silk) Idk 🕴️

I get what you are trying to say, but for the most part the ones complaining about Vicki's portrayal in MAWS are women.

I mean I can definitely get those complaints as part of the general body of "DC can be a major sausage fest" angle, and honestly I would love to see Lois develop a strong relationship with a female character within the show (like Ronnie pleeease can we see more Ronnie???), but I think it's also the general funky balancing issues of any show that's taking significant creative liberties with a well-known, well-loved IP and hasn't had a lot of time to really establish itself.

I mean for the most part, most of Lois's interactions with other women (in this case I'm talking about the League of Lois Lanes and Vicki Vale) are more about holding up a mirror to Lois as a character--the league of Lois Lanes obviously discussing both Lois's internal self-doubts and how there are significant differences between her and previous incarnations of her in media, and as I've said before, Vicki Vale representing pretty much everything Lois thought she wanted to be as a journalist prior to finding out Clark is Superman. And you do see early in the season the way Lois pursues a story like she has already come to all the conclusions she figures she needs to, is very similar to how Vicki pursues her exposé on Superman--which isn't journalism! Journalism is about investigating and finding the truth! Which is also probably why Lois is still stuck as an intern when we meet her, because she's been emulating this ball-busting B&E style of journalism without actually building up the necessary experience and compassion and direction to make it effective! I don't think the show really wants to pit women against each other so much as really ask the question of "How's Lois going to find her place in all this?"

I'm getting a little sidetracked but I do think that basically we haven't been able to see Lois develop a strong relationship with other women in the show because for this season, at least, the show's writing is about establishing this interpretation of Lois, Clark, and Jimmy. So basically what interactions the trio has with characters outside of the trio is more about establishing the trio themselves as characters than actually building relationships with characters outside the trio, you know? Like, just think back to Jimmy's interaction with Steve Lombard--like yes, we got to know Steve as this macho guy but ultimately that whole interaction was exploring Jimmy's feelings of being left behind by Clark and Lois and his frustrations with not being taken seriously as Flamebird.

Hopefully next season (if there is a next season) they'll be able to expand the cast more and build on more complex dynamics outside the trio (Pleeease bring in Kara pleeeease), but in the meantime I'm just going to say that DC has been doing whatever the hell it wants with Vicki Vale since forever. Vicki's been obsessed with proving Bruce Wayne is Batman, she's been a significant Bat-Love-Interest, she's been a supervillain, she's been a generic NPC newscaster, and now she gets to be this sort of reflection of Lois but also placed at a position in the narrative where she's completely independent from Batman and also has a surprising amount of power. Like I love the lore that she's been a rival journalist to Perry! It gives her a lot of flavor! It gives this fun sense that even in the midst of a whole bunch of superhero craziness, regular people have their foils and rivalries! Plenty of comic book characters have continued to persist despite less-than-flattering interpretations, and plenty of comic book characters have undergone significant changes basically to fit the narrative demands of being adapted to animation. This is not the be-all end-all of Vicki Vale.

Also I hate the concept of "if this female character is mean or unpleasant or unlikable to me as a woman then that means the writing is unfeminist." Like, just because a character is a bitch, that doesn't mean she's not bringing something to the story. Bitchiness can bring a lot to a story.

i don’t i’m afraid!! it’s just his enormous mess of a tag as the lore built up... i might make something sometime??? i hadnt thought abt it tbh. in the meantime feel free to ask me any and all questions even if it’s something i’ve probably already said, i love going over this stuff and will do so forever if even slightly prompted. on that note, if it helps, here is a briefly condensed version:

keir is a red personality (aggressive/direct) non-mage hawke. i did his full playthrough as a warrior, i sometimes talk about switching him to rogue, but the only really important thing is that he’s a reaver and will bite you for real

he’s a man of few words, extremely blunt and threatening to the point of being absurdly over-the-top with pretty much all strangers, and much softer but still bluntly earnest with the small group of people he considers his own. he considers himself first and foremost a protector and would do anything to keep those people safe. his father malcolm was a strict man who raised him to do this and he accepted that wholeheartedly. consider him a guard dog. killed his first templar in defence of the family aged 15

he adores and idolises magic and fiercely supports mage freedom, though ultimately he would absolutely sacrifice a wider “cause” if doing so would keep his mages safe. fortunately or unfortunately, he can’t do that because the two are inextricable

he’s a proud fereldan and cares very little for kirkwall (hates kirkwall. hates kirkwall. someone please get him out of here) and its nobility, which tends to show in his appearance and behaviour. long braided hair, the streak across his nose is kaddis, and takes his mabari, silla, absolutely everywhere

he’s elf-blooded via his father, who was the bastard son of a fereldan elven servant girl and an orlesian chevalier who was with the occupation

his playthrough has circle mage bethany. he adores her and he would do anything for her but her acceptance of her fate and disillusionment with his overprotectiveness meant they had an increasingly strained relationship. it was because she was trapped that he couldn’t leave the city. once he was champion, meredith essentially had a knife to his sister’s throat whenever she wanted his compliance, not to mention the looming threat to anders and merrill, making those three years the worst and most terrifying in his life

he romances anders! friendmance and they escape kirkwall together in the end. not always easy but he really loves him, justice half included. there’s a lot of lore here ummm if i mention the “and they were housemates” timeline, that’s my silly mutual pining alternate version of events where anders moves into the amell estate for safekeeping before he and keir actually get together. if i mention aura hawke, that’s the potential daughter i occasionally hc for them

he had previous relationships with morrigan (in lothering as young 20-somethings) and merrill (during act 1). you cannot keep him away from those romanceable mages

he’s still close friends with merrill. isabela is his best friend. he has a complicated, semi-antagonistic friendship with varric, who was really closer with anders but now after the fact doesn’t want to remember that. he deeply respects and is friends with fenris. he did rivalry with sebastian, but in an agree-to-disagree way where they considered each other friends nonetheless until All That happened. he had a more genuine rivalry with aveline though still coloured by their trauma bonding

i THINK those are the main beats of his lore but he’s my most discussed and developed dragon age character so i’m sure i’ve missed some of the assorted junkyard of thoughts

Seeing your most recent Mareach mute Mario au head canon makes me wonder what would happen in your universe if there was a big miss communication plot where it affects the relationship between the three of them. Those can be annoying if it is the whole plot of course but your au makes me wonder about it. Especially since Mario would be mute it could be Luigi that misunderstands something when maybe Peach and Mario fight or something along the lines of that? Idk though I’m honestly curious what that could be like in your AU.

Oooh see that’s interesting, because I kind of imagine that Mario is actually surprisingly good at communicating despite being mute—and actually that’s mostly because he’s mute. Talking was always really hard for him growing up, so he spent most of his life struggling to do it and trying his best to say as little as possible. But once he was able to embrace less traditional forms of communication? Once he learned to sign and focused more on writing and communicating other ways? He opened up completely! He’s very good at getting his point across clearly, both out of necessity and because he enjoys being able to do it.

So then I started thinking about what situation could possibly arise where he’s no longer able to properly communicate and why, especially one that might involve Peach. I don’t imagine they would really fight much, especially early on in meeting. I do, however, think Mario fell fast and hard for her, especially when she showed immediate interest in learning how to sign. She already knew the basics of a toad sign language, and she was fascinated to see the similarities and differences between it and ASL. So they got really close really fast with each of them sharing what they knew with each other!

On the outside, Luigi could see this developing, and he thought it was really sweet of the princess to show such an interest. Though, as I wrote about in a different post, I imagine he’d be very hesitant to trust a princess with his brother’s heart. So then when Mario comes home one night looking shaken, and he refuses to explain himself, just repeatedly signing nothing, nothing, nothing—Luigi is pissed. He’s not sure what happened, but he’s absolutely sure the princess did something to hurt his brother. Maybe he decides to give Peach the cold shoulder, or maybe debates whether or not he should confront her and tell her to apologize. In the meantime, he just tries to be there for Mario, who seems so sad for whatever reason.

In actuality, Mario and Peach were having a wonderful time teaching each other signs and enjoying each other’s company, when Mario felt like he overstepped. Peach tried to finger spell her name and she just couldn’t seem to get the P to look right, so on instinct Mario reached over and took her hand in his own to adjust it—and she flinched. Why? Because she also fell hard and fast for Mario, and it sent the biggest flutter through her body to finally be touched by him. But to Mario? He just touched a princess without asking, one he has a huge, inappropriate crush on, and she was clearly surprised and mortified by it. What the hell was he thinking??

Anyway, cue all three of them misunderstanding each other and slowly learning to realize they all have only the best intentions and feelings for one another. I imagine it might culminate with Luigi finally stomping his foot and saying, “That’s it! I hate seeing you like this, Mario. I’m going to take care of this right now!” Which just leads to a very embarrassed Mario finally having to explain himself and admit his feelings to his brother just so Luigi doesn’t go yell at a princess, etc. This isn’t the most well fleshed out idea, but you get the point 😅
