The boy will be getting a bunch of new armors & new 3D models for existing armors in Redcap's GIGANTIC v1.5.0 update (forever in progress it will be worth the wait 😘) Here are some teaser pics of a few of them including from top to bottom: - Wood Armor (be careful around fire this one is extra flammable!) - Mudcrab Armor (a tanky boi) - Ash Hopper Armor (gotta go fast) - Falmer Armor (this is one of the visual upgrades to an existing armor)

Just started a playthrough with Val Serano mostly blind. As in, barely read the mod description and didn't even look at the photos too much. Literally just saw the words "Companion Mod" and went hey nice, installed and quickly looked at how to recruit him.

So I went out, met this scruffy looking guy right? Really neat recruitment quest.

Then we went back and so I quickly turned to my new companion to continue the recruitment and uh...

Help? I can't focus on anything he's saying because everytime I talk to him it's just yeah whatever you say beautiful

In all seriousness, I've only played with him in my game for like two hours and it's been pretty great so far. Love the voice work, he has some comments on the first few vanilla quests I've done and the personal quest of his that we're doing right now is really interesting. Really excited to play more of the game with him

Beautiful Eyes

“You’re furrowing your brows again.” Ren’s voice caught Val’s attention as he looked upon the small halfling. Despite the growing darkness of the evening, Ren’s golden eyes seemed to glow underneath his hood that covered his face.

The Nord pursed his lips, flinching when he accidentally put too much weight on his left leg. He was about to say something, until he felt a scarred hand on his own.

Ren was putting his hood down when Val looked at him, his strands of orange hair falling around him from his loose braid. Damn, he’s beautiful, was all Val could manage to think as his body was pushed down till he sat on a fallen log that was conveniently placed.

“Let me look at it,” the healer's voice was soft, his eyes focusing on Val’s for a moment.

He only gave a small laugh before he started to undo his trousers. “Okay, sunshine, but you’ve already seen me without my pants on before.” His comment got him a dark blush from the young male as Ren averted his eyes away with a small pout. Val’s smile was soft as he revealed the scar on his left leg, flinching a bit as he stretched it out to allow Ren to reach it.

There was no hesitation as the smaller male began the healing process, the glow from his hands soft and warm as a wave of relief washed over the Nord and he felt the tension in his shoulders release. Allowing him to better look at his companion who stayed focused on his task. 

Ren’s eyes were glowing a soft yellow as he worked, something Val knew was a result of his magic use and yet despite how unusual it was, he found the sight beautiful. His hair looked soft, almost painted as the strands fell around his face that was covered in freckles and some dirt from his early digging for a flower he had wanted to press. On his left side were the burns that were darker than his already dark skin and despite how grotesque Ren found it, Val couldn’t help but be in awe. How could someone put through so much hell, be the kindest soul in all of Tamriel?

As Val pondered this query, the other lifted his head and caught the rogue starring causing another round of blushing. “What are you looking at?” Ren laughed pushing a strand of hair behind his ear.

Val answered with a soft smile and a kiss on his cheek. “Just admiring how beautiful your eyes are.”

The Taliesin update for 2025

The 1st update for the new year is here. We're still working on a bigger update for Taliesin, but we wanted to release this medium sized fix for our favorite ex-Thalmor. It's been a couple of years since our first release of Tally and we have taken in a lot of suggestions, requests and criticism since then. 

Major Changes 

-Taliesin's inappropriate lines have been removed/rewritten and revoiced.

When we first began working on Taliesin, we did it without any boundaries or mindset of Taliesin's character. Since then, not only has Taliesin grown but so have we. Looking back at these lines, we have grown uncomfortable with certain lines of dialogue and we've both agreed to change those lines and move forward with boundaries we've both set for Taliesin. 

-An additional conversation was added.

Complete "Diplomatic Immunity" and have spoken with Taliesin about his upbringing for this conversation to be triggered.

-The start to a romance quest has been added. Please note:This is the barebones version and we will be working to add more to the player's relationship with Taliesin. This is a late Valentine's day gift from the VA for the players.

-Roughly 300 new lines have been added to replace the lines that have been removed.

-Unfortunately, the cape has been removed. Mostly because the saturated colors have been distracting and out of place.

Minor Changes

-Berwhale's damage has been nerfed.

-Taliesin's one-handed trait has been removed. AKA Tally was nerfed again.

-A Note and Journal has been added at the Shrine of Talos where you first meet Taliesin.

-A new cabin has been added near Half-Moon Mill. It's locked at the moment, but it's purpose will be revealed in the future.

I've finally started dev work on a custom voiced (read: voice-acted! AI can die a painful death) follower mod, the mod I've been wishing I had the time & freedom to make for years now.

I have gotten more work done on this new follower in a week than I have on any other project in the past year or so, and that's because I'm ✨️OBSESSED WITH HER✨️

I've felt buried under past projects & plans & obligations for a long time, so much so that I've considered quitting creating in these spaces altogether. I then asked myself "What character would I make if I started modding today?"

I need someone with Skyrim modding capabilities to use their genius skills and make a player home for all the custom voiced followers we know and love. It would be fuckin huge to fit everyone - actually, it might end up being a small village instead of a single house. But can you imagine? A room for everyone decorated based on their individual personalities.

Sorry, my lifelong Dragon Age obsession is showing. I'm in love with the idea of the Dragonborn having a small fucking fortress full of all their friends.

And in this place, I'm picturing just random trinkets and items and notes and books and stuff left in different places by different followers. Everyone's personalities leak out all over the place. Maximum found family goals. Like the LotD museum but tailored around all the LDB's friends and the adventures they go on.

All the artifacts the LDB picks up aren't kept in some secret vault or hidden armory. They're divided amongst the gaggle of nerds following them around.

All those Dwemer artifacts? In Remiel's or Lucien's room. Everything you pick up from the Bard's College mysteriously makes its way to Taliesin's room eventually. Every time you walk near Gore's room, there's a new dog playing with Meeko - or maybe something he picked up from their stint with the Vigilants is sitting around. Not that anyone in the group is eager to relive the Vigilants era. Inigo got his hands on something incredibly dangerous and probably stuck it in a basket in the corner of his room. All the cool alchemical stuff is somewhere around Xelzaz's room. Auri's is a wonderland of Bosmer culture.

The only things locked away in a vault are the Daedric artifacts because no one is fucking with those.

I need this in my life. Omg pls. I know absolutely nothing about modding, and I'm certain I would break everything if I ever tried. But this needs to happen.

Any ideas on what funky doodads and ancient dangerous artifacts would end up in whose room? Share your ideas and expand on this, please. I wanna know
