with all the time I've known him I've somehow never ended up discovering this myself so I'll just ask

1: does taliesin have any unique interactions with the thalmor embassy quest?

2: does he have any interactions with patrolling thalmor in the wild?

3: same with the group in markarth.

I always either do the thing before getting him or forget to do it while he's with me.

No. When you go to the embassy, Taliesin has a script where he waits for you outside the cave you escape from. I'm aware some have used his summoning spell to get him in there, so I plan on adding some lines. Fair warning, he will be very upset with you.

2. No. If I can find the conditions for him to recognize he's passing a patrolling group, I might add some lines.

3. No. He talks about Ondolemar to the player, but doesn't interact with them. Doing so might draw attention to him traveling with the dragonborn.
