Felt like drawing someone else’s Tim with my own, so I drew @sarcasticscribbles’s Tim cuz her design is honestly so cool

Mermay 2024

One thing I love about drawing is how easily I get lost in thought while my hand is carving out what I’m imagining. It’s automatic and therapeutic!

I’m glad I pushed myself for this year’s #mermay challenge. Seeing everyone’s pieces inspired me to make my own! I wonder what she’s thinking about 🤔

Slight trigger warning for deralisation

Inside my chest is a writhing mass of snakes.

Inside my mind is a blur of binary code.

Inside my hand is a soft mess of stuffing.

Everyone is incomplete. Everyone is empty. Everyone is merely a string of personality wrapped a million times around the staticky mass that is the pure lack of anything.

Everyone is nothing but a face covering the emptiness inside of them.

My face hides the fact that all that’s inside of me is emptiness.

If you cut me open, you wouldn’t find organs spilling over your hand like water, you’d find nothing.

You’d find the ghost of what I used to be, what I should be. 

You’d find the places where I forgot who I am, forgot what I’ve done, where I forgot what life is, for a little bit.

You’d find shadows of what I will be, and that is nothing. I’m nothing.

It’s not sad. It’s true. Inside me is nothing.

Inside me is shadows, ghosts and flames, and the few spools of thread I wrap around them to keep myself intact.

I actually drew this one!

I hope this makes even the littlest amount of sense, I doubt it does though. Sorry!
