am i watching the winter embrace on repeat and staring at joels hand so gently on her cheek as she looks up at him in such an unbelieving manner because he shouldn’t be there because he’s half dead in that basement except he is there and he’s holding her and his touch is soft and comforting and protective and gentle and it brings her back to the present and helps her realize that she’s safe now because he’s here bur also that he is alive and here with her and she doesn’t have to worry about her worst fear coming true anymore because she can feel his hand on her cheek and his arms wrapped around her and hear the sound of his voice and see the alive look in his eyes? yeah.

Thanks to many thoughts, I ended up drawing again about that one concept idea of mine with baby Max and tired Goofy. Which it's about how difficult it was for Goofy at the beginning for a couple of reasons, and that Goofy only managed to occasionally take better care of himself with the help of his friends. Sure he's positive and optimistic in general, but I can't see he managing it all by himself alone.

Well one, weaving is like her thing it's very fun. But also, as a product of her situation but also how cunning she is, she very much does not place herself at the center of her plans. If that makes sense? She manipulates situations to her end, but something else usually takes center stage. Shroud, bow, bed. Someone else reacts. The suitors, Odysseus. Even when she's flirting with the suitors so that they give her more stuff, it's not her who acts on her words but the suitors.

Odysseus relies on other people believing what skin he's putting on or not knowing who he is. Penelope relies on other people's nature to act in tune with her own schemes
