There’s lots of theories about Ruby being linked to River somehow, and i just personally really hate that idea…I feel like Silence in the library - The husbands of River Song, was the perfect arc for River. It’s a phenomenal start and end for the character and i think bringing her back or tying new characters to her would just be fan service 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fic idea: Aang is tasked with finding a missing fire spirit, only to realise that the spirit is needed for an important festival tomorrow

To buy time, someone needs to pretend to be the missing fire spirit. And who else to ask but a descendent of Agni himself? Whether the Fire Royals actually are/aren't direct descendants of Agni is debatable, but they smell different to normal firebenders, enough to briefly pull off the disguise.
