hi everyone. i just watched spider man across the spider verse (for the first time) and here are my thoughts:

pavitr was amazing i would watch multiple movies about him i love him so much

he was also amazing for pointing out people who say "chai tea" and "naan bread"

pavitr is amazing

i like the punk dude (i low key ship them but only maybe i havnt seen what the fandom things of them yet)

i like the pavitr dude.

have i mentioned who my favorite character is? its pavitr prabhaker.

i may or may not become hyperfixated on spiderman (its like a right of passage for trans ppl)

the animation and art style was amazing and i might rewatch it not for the plot but just to enjoy/study the art

so one of the things that annoys me endlessly is this phenomenon where, when I say I like something, people assume that means I want more of it, a different version of it, add-ons and bells and whistles, and i'm just like

no.

no, when I say I like tea, I mean I like tea. Not herbal tisanes, not "tea with--", no milk, no sugar, no fruit, no frills, just good-quality tea in a range of fermentations and colours.

when I say I like a hot bath, I mean the bath. Not bubble-bath, not bath oils and foams and salves and unguents, not candlelight and music and a zen space to sensually relax with a book and a glass of wine, just a hot bath in a normally-lit bathroom where I can unwind and get clean.

when I say I like beer, I mean I like beer. Not fruit-flavoured, not with a special something-something added, for the love of GOD not sweetie-flavoured, just a well-brewed ale or stout in a simple pint glass, in good company.

and that isn't because there's anything WRONG with the add-ons! these are not bad things! I know that for some people, a tea advent calendar with different herbal blends, or a luxurious foamy scented bath with candles and music, is what they mean by "I like tea" and "I like baths". but it would just be nice if when I asked for a green tea, people didn't assume I mean "with..."

because if not enough milk tea will be too watery (and maybe too strong but I love myself some good strong tea)

but if too much milk then the tea flavour is not strong enough and the flavour just isn't good

being from India I normally use these masala chai teabags but if that's not available I normally just use english breakfast tea + ginger + lemongrass + cinnamon (and sometimes I add cardamom) and I need it w milk because then you can dunk biscuits in there and in my correct humble opinion, the ability to dunk biscuits in your tea is what makes the tea a good tea thank you for coming to my ted talk

honestly the way people talk about ‘bots’ on this site isn’t right. like, you can ask people to alter their blog so that it doesn’t look like a bot.

and you can do that nicely.

you don’t need to go on about how “you look like a fucking bot”. you don’t need to be angry and spam emojis about it.

not only is it unfriendly to new users,

but it hurts people who struggle to personalise their blogs.

people with social anxiety.

people with depersonalisation.

people with executive dysfunction.

so please stop acting like blog personalisation is easy to do or ‘the least you could ask’ of someone. please stop acting like those who don’t personalise their blogs, and then get blocked, deserve that. they don’t.

we can’t help it; i soft block accounts i think are bots. but please be gentle with others. there are still real beings behind many many screens. 🌹🌹

Flinging to the tag a question again,

I headcanon the whole thing of “Perfect Drug”/ ”In a Blink” being not Chai’s heart/mind pumping music in as normal, but Kale. Chai was controlled by Spectra (in turn Kale) during the start of it, so it fits logically. Also, it’s not the first time the game’s put in a different POV being in charge the music, see: “Invaders Must Die”/ “Intruder”

So the question is, before I go into AO3, is there any fanfiction of Kale one sided pining for Chai? Kinda like “This daft idiot is ruining all my plans, WHY DO I WANT HIM?!” kinda fanfiction. I saw someone mention on reddit that a good number of fanfictions have Chai slammed with the “Lack of Self confidence” stick something fierce and I don’t want to dig through that.

the fanfic author's curse real as hell I just got back from the hospital for the second time this week bc I had to get my blood drawn. I got It drawn at the hospital for the first time, but that was to test for clotting. They wanna test again for immune disorders because I had a pretty bad pleurisy (Which is also the reason why I went to the hospital the first time!) Then I had to see my Cardiologist, who told me that my joint issues may be related to my Orthostatic Hypotension. They noted that because I have loadsa other symptoms I might have EDS. Of course, I was recommended to talk to a rheumatologist about this. then they sent me home with a heart moniter AGAIN! i hate the stickers bc they irritate my skin >:P

I can't believe its taken this long to get a real diagnoses for any of this, its all pretty recent. But they've always been there. anyways, i'm grateful I was able to get any of this, even the fucking dumb excuses like "growing pains" or an "anxious heart" when I was younger.
