as funny as i think it would be for hak and su-won to be sitting around the crest, head in hands because none of their ideas are working, only for yona to suddenly pop out with the dragons in tow like “hi guys i fixed everything :)” i do think the interpretation of hak and su-won as the sword and the shield is starting to hold more weight now, especially considering ik-su’s comment in ch 43 about how it’ll take a while for the sword and shield to appear (i.e. reconcile and be able to work together)

#obviously we’d see yona’s pov from within the chalice too in the first scenario #if i’m not being a silly little jester i do think it’ll most likely take all of them working from both within and outside the chalice #but kusanagi does have impeccable comedic timing so i can visualize the funnier version very clearly #idk i still don’t have strong theories wrt the specifics of the prophecy #i just have a prediction for the ending that i’m not budging on until the text explicitly proves me wrong which hasn’t happened yet 🫶#but the specifics of how we get there? i’m just along for the ride babyyyy #also permit me to rant for a second. i think some people either can’t read or are willfully interpreting recent chapters in bad faith #like sorry but where are u people pulling some of these interpretations FROM?? make it make sense lol #akayona

So I finally got around to watching more Cyberverse, and I finished Season 1. So I decided “eh, why not start Season 2?”

What the goddamn hell is happening

Okay, we start off with a flashback to the AllSpark. Alright, fair enough

Now we’re suddenly on the Moon?? How? Why?? Bumblebee can now talk normally again??

Megatron’s here?? I mean yeah, makes sense he would be on the Decepticon armada ship, but we didn’t see him at the end of Season 1, so I was still kind of surprised

Wait, humans know about the Transformers now?? They were basically non-existent in Season 1, now they know about the Transformers? Are we gonna be getting human characters now?

What the hell is that giant beam going to Earth?? What’s going on?? How did we get on the Moon???

I’m not even halfway through the episode yet, and I’m so confused as to what’s happening

#like okay maybe Season 1’s pilot had a little confusion too #but key word: a LITTLE #we understood what was happening like halfway through #also now we’re going from very few characters to all the characters #and I still don’t know what’s going on #I’m sure by the end of the episode it’ll make more sense #but my god it is one hell of a cold dunk into the pool #I can only hope Season 3 isn’t like this too #transformers #transformers cyberverse

It’s kind of satisfying how, at this point, even if gojo released from the prison realm, things are so bad, there’s nothing that can be done to make things better, only stop things from getting worse

#it’ll be fascinating to see what the aftermath is #and I’ve always liked seeing gojo as a character not be savior people think him to be #does this make sense??????#jjk spoilers #seeing what can come out of helpless and tragic situations is nice #not necessarily a ‘all villains win’ ending #I remember after I caught up with the manga around the end of shibuya #one of my fav aspects was how much the antagonists succeeded/protagonists failed or were challenged #and I like how this recent arc has been a good dive into antagonists motivations and plans. makes their goals seem feasible
