Being in constant pain while having ADHD is so confusing.
I got this Pain Scale from a Tumblr post, but where do I put myself? On 2, because when I hyper fixate on something I forget that I'm in pain? Nope, it's at least a four or five if I do not read! And that's with pain meds, double the dosis gets me down to maybe a three. So usually it's s seven or eight without pain meds.
But this took me so long to figure out damn it :/

so, another thing about collegiate teams is that they usually have an alumni game.
now the foxes don't have any alumni by the end of the books, but they will eventually.
now this might be different for a sport like exy (I played lax which really dosent have a large professional league, but the big d1 schools i think still do this too) but yk what it usually happens during pre-season anyways and its always a ton of fun.
Because what happens is that it's usually a game of alumni vs current players. and that is hilarious.
(Dan gets back on the court and gets to win against her current players)
(the current players are just like 'this is so unfair' and 'what the fuck do you mean I have to guard kevin motherfucking day' or ' how the fuck am I supposed to score? minyard is in goal???')
Neil has the time of his life btw - because an alumni game is also a chance for everyone to play on the foxes' court again, a chance to come home!

#daily isabeau#isat#in stars and time#isat fanart#isat isabeau#art#isabeau pre change i guess?#that's who the other person is if it's not obvious#i had a better version of this in mind but i couldn't find a good reference for the pose i wanted#anyway#do you ever think about how much isabeau's character is based around other people?#there's the obvious isafrin but most of his moments in the game as well as a lot of his personality is based on helping others#he didn't have many (if any) friends growing up#i think what he needed back then was a supportive friend who would be there for him always#so he changed and grew to be the kind of person he needed growing up#to be the kind of person that would have befriended him when he was on his own#maybe he believes the only kind of person that would have been there for him#is someone who doesn't think about themselves?#someone who always puts others first#is the only kind of person who could be friends with someone like him#and he didn't get that#so he became that#but it still feels like he's neglecting the lonely kid who needed him in the first place#i feel like he'd realize this eventually#but i'd love to see him when he's fully himself

I think its a rite of passage to make an au at least once, and ive been thinking super hard about how Sonic raised tails lately. So obviously an age swap au had to happen. Aka, the au in which they are both team turbo nerd and Tails needs a Vacation as a dire medical suggestion. (more rambling in tags)
