So I'm on a Greyhound (already a bad start) and I had to give my witness statement to COPS in the middle of the journey and I was a bit shaken about the whole thing but now I feel more normal and I'm more occupied with directing my energy towards not peeing my pants, so there's a good thing

#when i got on the bus the driver gave a warning towards a guy sitting in front of me for behaving inappropriately towards a lady #but some guys in the back defended the dude so the driver walked away....#and another girl got on and sat next to him (bad sign)#and it was already sussy when he introduced himself & got her name but things went south so fast #when he put his laptop on her lap and started watching a movie. she begrudgingly agreed bc what is she gonna do? make a scene?#but then he started leaning on her shoulder!!!!! and after a while he had his arms around her and shit #and she tried to give the laptop back to him and pulled out a book to push him off but then.#he just. leaned on her shoulder and pretended to sleep n shit and she was getting real uncomfortable #about an hour in we're at a rest stop and i see her talking to the driver so i think whew at least shes telling him about it #but she just walks away with all of her luggage? so i talk to the driver to ask if shes ok and he has no idea what im talking abt #and im like whoa yeah the dude u were talking to before was behaving inappropriately to her #and hes like oh man and he drives up to her to pick her back up while he goes to get the bus maintained #and like ... 30 minutes later he comes back but hes not letting anyone in and he calls me over to tell me that shes p shaken up about it #and he called the COPS and her sister is coming to pick her up #so now i gotta give a witness statement when the cops come but at this point everyone on the bus knows im the snitch and now #im worried abt the guys who defended him before bc theyre still gonna be on the bus and behind me!!#but i talk to the cops. give my statement. she cant press any charges or anything but they will remove the dude from the bus which is great #bc the dude has been yelling at other women for being a snitch and a cop presumably for the previous incident??#but then i get on the bus and all eyes are on me and the dudes behind me start hollering at me and im like shit #but then theyre like you did a good thing. he was being creepy. leaning on her and lying down on her #and im like bro. and yall defended him??? 😭 also nobody did nothing?????#and im like aight can i go home now tnx #but thankfully there's this old guy who sat separate from his wife next to me and i felt a bit more secure w/ a human shield #anyways the whole thing just left me kinda shaky but that could have been the low blood sugar?#log

I just had to share this video because holy shit, it hits the nail right on the head! So well spoken. This stuff needs to be circulated more, esp with the growing number of people thinking they have this because of misinformation, or just outright faking it.

#it's painful because i knew someone who personally faked this stuff (or has convinced herself she has it i can't even tell)#she had spent all her time on tiktok and i know for 100% sure that's where she got the idea. it's TRAGIC how fast things went downhill #i'm legit horrified at how many people (esp young kids of 13-14) think they have this too. or are just pretending #i've been neck deep in hardcore research (and i'm talking pubmed sciencedirect etc only) for months #and those kids definitely don't have did.. if they have trauma and are dissociating it's going to be something else like dpdr etc #the number of stupid 'you have did' answers i see for totally basic questions like 'i got dizzy what's wrong w me' is insane too #it's like googling 'muscle twitch' and then thinking you have some rare 1/billion familial cancer thing despite other obvious explanations #but worse.. in these cases the information is being fed to them. they don't have an opportunity to explore other possibilities #and the worst part is they don't even know to CHECK THE VALIDITY OF WHAT THESE PEOPLE ARE SAYING. they don't have info literacy #like i'll say this once: did is so rare that it's STILL contentious about whether it even exists #and it only happens in the most unimaginably traumatic experiences. think of the worst possible things you could do to a child #where even just thinking about it makes you uncomfortable. THAT'S the kind of trauma that leads to did. the truly evil stuff.#i'm not even gonna start on the BITE model shenanigans that are happening in the 'did' communities either #or how the people who used to be in them (and got out) always equate them to self-harming cults that celebrated not finding real answers #they got told they were 'perfect the way they were' despite having OBVIOUS psychological issues they needed help for #(it just wasn't did)#they were assured their 'did was valid no matter what'. toxic positivity ig? it just delayed their real diagnosis and ability to get help #but now you have gluts of people like in the video 'talking to themselves' and people on tumblr posting one-liners of 'alters' talking #one after the other within seconds. and i want to fcking cry because it's the same exact shit my friend did before she cut ties #the did/tourettes/ftlb stuff has literally been called a 'mass sociogenic illness' in multiple academic studies #but like qanon believers they seem to immediately discredit anyone who mentions this with 'you're just ableist' so anything you say is poo #aka you're part of the problem you're an 'ableist' so your legit info even though legit isn't valid/acceptable/real/whatever. i'm tired fam #did #dissociative identity disorder #osdd #ddnos #munchausen syndrome #mass psychogenic illness #ableism

For my English course this year I wrote an essay on the debate of fine art vs contemporary art and I haven't reread it since I sent it in I wanna see if I can find this shit cause I have no clue what I ended up stating as my opinion

#it was crazy how many people i mentioned it to immediately started shitting on contemporary art #like id explain what i meant by fine and contemporary art and the majority of people would instantly talk about how ridiculous #they thought contemporary art was and how it wasnt real art and shit #my english teacher told me i actually changed his mind about the subject and like ultimately all i did was fairly compare the two #i didnt favour either one i gave them both pretty much equal time i think lots of people just havent actually considered contemporary art #at any length before yk they just go well this is art cause its pretty and theyve painted a thing and i know what it is #and this is pretentious bullshit because i dont think its pretty and i cant tell what its supposed to be by looking at it #i went to a modern art museum recently with my family and there wasthis one exhibition that was an indoor garden thing #and they all kinda went whats the point of that its just plants it doesnt even make a picture and moved on pretty fast #but all the plants had little signs next to them explaining what they were and why they were significant and oh my god #it had a kind of motif of the hanging gardens of babylon but it was mostly about war specifically palestine and the effects the war has had #fuck man. i spent a solid hour in there that shit really fucked me up. i love art.#there was another room filled with traditional south american stuff i think it was?#there was this fascinating film and all these coolpaintings and models but there was also a tiny little boom you could read #and it was of mayan love charms and holy shit Tumblr wouldve loved those i think i have a picture of my favourite page #it was like 'i want to join myself to him. i want this man to be my other half'#mmmm. anyway #tag essay #i love love love talking about art i could sit and talk about art for literally hours #wet floor sign
