There was something about the way this was easily the happiest she’s felt since she left the Palais.

It was mostly endearing, really (at least, she hoped it was), that you brought her mouthfuls of macarons and cake to stuff into her face like a woman starved of such a delicacy; though, she can’t help but plead a tad of gracelessness from the way she lived her life nowadays, barren of luxury in this small apartment.

She squealed happily, even so. “Oh, how I miss the Palais’ cooking!” she reveled in delight.

“Well, when you’ve been consuming nothing but macaroni these days, Lady Furina…”

“What?” she almost snarls defensively. Her cheeks flare red in embarrassment. Perhaps you didn’t fancy the bare basic, messy life she was showing you now… “Macaroni is good!”

You moved carefully, her eyes following your hands as they poured her more tea. “It is, my lady,” you didn’t deny. “But I can’t imagine you going a day, much less weeks, without something sweet for dessert.”

She almost crumbles from humiliation from that. Though you ( probably, she once again hopes ) did not mean your words in any insulting magnitude, there was no denying the shame she felt prickling at the corners of her eyes, nor the sharpness welling at the back of her throat. It was purely mortifying to have someone as special you think of her that way—her, as some spoiled, immature, strictly-sweet dieted bratty archon.

“Well…” she stutters out. She notices as your movements suddenly hesitate—perhaps there was something in her voice you’ve never heard before.

( And there was, truthfully so. There was a inkling of disappointment stemmed from a certain sadness you’d never imagine to hear from the all-magnificent, all-showcasing Furina de Fontaine. )

“Well, what you’re imagining is the archon you once knew,” she simply concluded, albeit quietly so. “Not me.”

There is a silence that ensues for just a moment; and curse her tendency to overthink, for now she was sweating over the way you thought of her. Perhaps it will finally hit that you pretty much knew nothing of her at all, and maybe then, you’d leave her alone. But she prayed that didn’t happen—once she’s gotten a taste of your company, she couldn’t quite let that feeling of companionship go. And… whatever other feelings came alongside it. But she could ignore that part of it, for now.

“That’s…” you started, and she tensed visibly, “true.” You pick up a red colored macaroon. It’s raspberry flavored. “I don’t know you, but I’d like to think that Furina also has a liking for sweets, if that is correct?”

She almost shivers when you say her name. No title, no formalities, just… her name. It sounds sweeter than the treat in your hand.

What more when you lift up the macaroon so delicately between your fingertips, and when your body leaned in. Her breath is practically caught in her throat when you press the edge of the macaroon gently between her lips, and it takes all of her brainpower just to open her mouth to bite it. Oh Archons, you just fed her… so improperly, too, like as a friend rather than a servant. She can feel her heart hammering painfully at her chest as her mind is screaming when her lips accidentally brush against your thumb—why is the surface area of this macaroon so small?!

Feeling embarrassed once more, she quickly snatches the rest of the bitten macaroon out of your hands so she can take the second and final bite on her own.

“Just Furina who still likes sweets…” she pondered aloud after chewing. “That’s… That’s right!” She brightly smiles to herself, “As I am a common civilian of society now, I know not to waste food on the table!” She talks quickly to attempt at quelling the redness on her face, though she does not know how well that is working. Her eyes frantically scan the table for any hopes of a conversation diversion, and they land on the plated cookies right in front of you. “And in any case, you look like you aren’t interested in eating, anyways—can I have your cookies?”

“All yours,” you wave off, and she visibly grows excited as her hand darts out in front of you. “Just don’t take the shortbread— Furina!”

She grabs the only shortbread cookie left on the platter with a force so strong it almost breaks it in half. And all the while, there is a sparkling mischief in her eyes. She knew this brand of shortbread cookies were your favorite—and she watched as they were the only thing you’ve been eating this whole time. And to make matters more infuriating? You knew she didn’t even like them!

Now, Furina definitely did not expect you to be so passionate about your shortbread to the point where you would dive forward to collide with her body, and reach your hand to grab the cookie before she put it in her mouth. Even as she sat up, there was a certain childish silliness in your expression that you’d never shown her before—one that made her heart throb so painfully hard she… accidentally comepletely ate the cookie she was supposed to only tease you with.

Oops.

“Furina!” you whined, visibly pouting as you leaned back. “I was saving that one!”

And here she was, sitting completely flustered ( and maybe a little lovestruck ) at your exchange. So, she does the only thing she knows how to: she talks.

“First you feed me,” she begins to blabber. “Then you try to steal a cookie that was already in my mouth—” Where was she going with this again? She thinks she might be staring at your lips a little too long right now; she lost her train of thought. “Your fixation on my lips means you want to kiss me, oh my Archons!”

She looks away once your expression changes, not wanting to deal with that just yet.

“You want to kiss me sooo bad, you look stupid trying to—”

…

“If you could just shut. Up.”

…You just kissed her. The words you just said, so deeply mean and informal, did not even register; because before you even said them, you just kissed her. Mouth agape, she feels sick—Did that really just happen? Did you really just—?

“Furina?” you called, shaking her shoulder from the side. “Furina, are you okay?”

“You idiot!” she yelled, turning and grabbing both your hands in hers. The color red was washed all over her face, coating her entire expression in flushed embarrassment as she stuffed the warmth of her face in your balled hands. “That was my first kiss, you’re so mean!”

She couldn’t even think right now, heart pounding wildly against her lungs as her mind searched—searched to remember the feeling of your lips against hers. Oh good Gods, she felt sick. Sick, and starved, and desperate, and delusional, and downright drowned in her own doom. This was so humiliating. She kind of just wanted to die in front of your hands right now.

“You’re the one who stole my cookie, and then kept teasing me!” you exclaimed back, freeing your hands to gently grab her face between them. She pouted into your hold, eyes closed before they could brim with tears from embarrassment. “If kissing you made you stop—?!”

Two could play at that game when Furina herself leaned in now to kiss you, leaving your hands hanging in the air behind her as her own hands moved to secure your face against hers, not letting you move.

A muffled “Furina—!” draws from your lips before she dives back in to her kiss, shutting you up completely just as how you did to her.

It’s pretty effective. She thinks she likes this way of getting you to be quiet.

"Who are you taking to the Yule ball?" Lily asked

He smiles as he looks over at you, "her of course.”

She laughs, "I should have thought about that.”

"Are you also going to ask her to be your girlfriend?” Asked Peter

"I was planning to do it at the Yule ball but I don't know if she'll go with me.” James replied sadly

“Prongs don't be sad she'll go with you because she feels the same way you do.” Sirius reassured him

"You think she does?” James questions happly

"Of course she does, it's obvious.” Sirius responds

“If she rejects you, I can go with you.” Lily offers

James smiles a little bit "thank you but don't take this as an insult, but if she were to reject me I won’t go and I wouldn't go with somebody else except for her.”

She smiles understanding that James wouldn't do that to you, and she doesn’t know why she would offer that if she knows how he feels about you "it's ok I understand.”

“Love, I was waiting for you to be finished since I have a question to ask.” James nervously asks

You smiled “I just got done, what do you need to ask me?”

He plays with his hands nervously as he clears his throat, “I was wondering if you would love to go to the Yule ball with me?”

You grinned looking down at the ground “I would love to go with you but I thought you were going with Lily since I saw the two of you talk.”

He grinned back as he shook his head "no she was just asking who I am taking to the Yule ball and I said you.”

“You guys don't find it stupid? That those two still have feelings for each other It's been years. I thought they would get over it.” A guy from Slytherin shakes his head

"How is it stupid? We all find it cute and Sweet that James and Y/n still have feelings for each other. Their true love was born when they were kids.” Remus tells the Slytherin guy

The Slytherin guy pulls his hands up, "I was just saying because I just thought that they got over it since they both met new people.”

Lily looks at him weirdly “Just because they met new people doesn't mean that their love is over. It's obvious that there’s even more love in between them.”

"Yeah, it sounds like you're jealous.” Sirius adds “Do you like Y/n?”

He rolls his eyes, "it's none of your business if I like her or not.”

Sirius smirks, "if you like her just know that she likes James so don't bother asking her out if you don't want to get rejected by her in front of everyone in here.”

“Whatever.” He leaves not wanting to embarrass himself

"What happened?" a Slytherin girl asked him since she saw everything.

"Nothing Faith I just went to ask them if they don't find it stupid that James and Y/n still have feelings for each even if it's been years.” Luis replies

“I agree with you it's stupid, it's been years they should move on.” Faith shakes her head in disbelief “so what did they say?”

“That It's cute and sweet.” He rolls his eyes again causing Faith to laugh “Of course they would say that they are friends with them.”

"Do you think Y/n will like this?" James asked, showing Sirius a corsage with your favorite flowers on it.

"She won't like it, she will love it!!” Sirius replied smiling

"Thank you for your help Pads." He smiles back as he pats his best friend on the back

“Are you excited for tomorrow?” Sirius questions as he and James leave the store.

“Of course, but I'm also nervous at the same time since tomorrow will be the day when I ask her to be my girlfriend.” He responds

“Prongs you got this I believe in you.” Sirius cheers James up

"Thank you." James hugs Sirius who hugs back "always.”

"Wow you look so beautiful." Lily tells you as she helps you get ready for the Yule ball

You smiled "You think so?"

She nods "Of course when James sees you he will pass out because of how gorgeous you are.”

You nervously spin around "thank you so much for helping me I don't know what I would do without you.”

She grabbed both of your hands with a smile on her face “Anytime you're my best friend I will always help you but now let's go because James is waiting for you. Let not have him waiting for too long.”

Lily and You were walking down the stairs when James got there "Thank you Lily, but I got it from here.” He stated, extending his arm

She gives a nod, "Of course, go dance and have a good time, but don't have too much fun."

"Look at them having fun." Luis rolled his eyes while crossing his arms.

“they think that they are way better than us.” Faith rolled her eyes as well

Luis smirks, "that's why we're gonna go over there and ruin it."

Luis and Faith were walking over to interrupt James and your dance when your friends got in front “what are you guys doing?”

Faith faked a smile, "we just came to ask James and Y/n if they wanted to dance with us.”

Lily smiled "it's ok they don't want to change partners they want to keep dancing with each other so let them.”

Luis pulls his hands up “We just came to ask that's all.”

Sirius smiled a little bit "You got your answer now, walk away, and dance with each other instead of stealing other people’s partners.”

Your friends watch as Faith and Luis leave angrily,“Good thing we got here in time before those two idiots could ruin it.”

"I wish those two would stop and leave them be." Remus shakes his head

James and you were still dancing not noticing of what happened with your friends and the two Slytherins.

"Now are you going to let me be your boyfriend?" James laughs “or are you going to make me wait longer?”

You laughed as well as you softly hit him on his chest. “Maybe I’ll say yes, only if you ask me.”

He beamed "okay then, so what do you say about being my girlfriend?"

You let out a chuckle as you wrapped your arms around his neck "let me think first."

"What?" He whines

You laugh "I was just kidding and I do want to be your girlfriend."

He glares playfully, “I was on the verge of crying because of you.”

"Awe I'm sorry but if I give you a kiss will it make you better?” You tell him

He smirks, "definitely."

“I can't believe that they barely start it dating, graduation is almost coming up, they won't last.” Faith tells Luis

“Maybe they will, they seem to love each other so much.” Luis tells her back

“What I'm trying to say is, maybe it's best if we leave them alone and no, I'm not on their side.”

"What? I can't believe that you would say that.”

“Well, believe it because I just did.” He said before leaving

Graduation was today James can't wait to pop that question that will change your life forever

“We did it!! James, we finally did it!!” you said excited

He smiled "We finally did it love, but anyways I have a question to ask you.”

He got down to one knee making you cry happily "James what are you doing?"

OVERHEARING AN ‘INSULT’ HC’s

I feel like tan is on the phone a lot - on a call to discuss details of a mission or just talking to lem about stuff. he'd be in his home office upstairs, maybe in there for most of the time he's home (when not away for work) so sometimes, you'd bring him up food/ snacks and drinks if he's been in there a while. a tea, pack of biscuits, maybe a sandwich. you'd stand outside with items in hand, and as you're about to knock, you hear him say, "...she's so clingy..."

he doesn't know other women (that you know of) so you assume he's talking about you. and the food in your hand confirms your theory (the fact that you're bringing it to him as he talks about clinginess)

so instead of knocking, you go to your shared room and eat what you made for him. sitting in bed, eating as you watch something on tv/ laptop/ phone

you'd avoid him for the rest of the day - making yourself useful elsewhere. if he was in one room, you were in another. he'd be in and out his office, trying to get work done, so wouldn't really notice (eek)

you'd go to bed way earlier than usual to avoid seeing him, wanting to be asleep before he joins

he'd come to bed, see you 'asleep' (you couldn't fall asleep) he'd apologise to your sleeping self for not being with you today, then would fall asleep, maybe spooning you 

over the next couple days you'd distance yourself from him - won't join him on the sofa, won't wear his clothes, won't be up awake the same time as him (you go to bed earlier and wake up earlier to avoid tan) won't ask him things, won't initiate any hugs or kisses

he'd notice the change in you and pull you aside one day, saying something like, "what's going on with you? been really weird lately," you'd shrug him off, saying it's nothing, maybe you try to walk away and he holds your arm, stopping you, "you've been distant, what's going on with you? everything okay?" you'd meet his concerned face, your stoic one softening. maybe you say, "I thought I was too clingy,"

he'd be confused, "clingy? what you on about?" and you're like, "I overheard you the other day," he'd still be confused, so you'd explain more, saying how you heard him on the phone when you were bringing food. eventually, he'd catch on and explain how it was A HUGE misunderstanding. saying how lem was asking tan to look after his cat, hence why tan said she's clingy - talking about the cat

after you'd be very embarrassed, apologising profusely, saying how you feel foolish and dumb for thinking that. he won't be mad at you for assuming. he'd feel sad for you, how you kept it to yourself and changed the way you acted. would also feel bad for not saying something sooner, and you wallowing in the feeling on your own

he'd be very reassuring!! telling you he loves the way you love and treat him. how sweet and caring you are to him. telling you he loves you as is and doesn't want you changing to fit/ suit/ accustom his moods

Title: SHITTY ASS STORY: THE REMAKE

Tenshi groaned as he shuffled around in his sleep. He wasn’t sure why, but something was off with his cold and bitter prison bed that he had grown accustomed to. It wasn’t the same familiar cold feeling that he had grown so horribly comfortable with. No, for once it felt warm and soft, almost like a soft hug that a mother would give to anyone sad or in need. This thought confused Tenshi, who slowly began to wake up from his slumber. Rubbing his eyes, he opened them slowly, his vision blurry for just moments at a time.

His thought process would’ve been just fine if it hadn’t been for a horribly familiar voice.

“Aw, did my little joey have a good nap? You were awfully tired after all that crying last night mate!” Exploit said in an unusually sweet and loving tone.

Tenshi’s voidless eyes snapped open and he quickly jumped up to his feet, only to be met with slight imbalance at the soft and bouncy texture of the crib bed.

Wait…..crib??

Tenshi looked around him and noticed that he was in a baby-like crib, but adult sized. This wasn’t the dungeon at all, but instead was somewhere inside what was once a distant memory of his. It was a bedroom ofc that was for certain, but it looked so off compared to the dungeon he was accustomed to.

“W-what the hell?!” Tenshi exclaimed, his hands grabbing the bars of the crib and staring daggers at Exploit in confusion and anger. Exploit simply made a cheeky smile at the aqua colored hedgehog.

“The fuck is going on here you green bastard!?” Tenshi exclaimed, clearly irritated and upset. He wasn’t sure why he was in a crib, but what he did know was that he was going to climb out and beat the shit out of his worst enemy.

Exploit simply chuckled lightheartedly, and walked over to the long-nosed hedgehog and booped him on the nose. Tenshi reeled back in disgust.

“Aw, my little joey’s all fussy!” Exploit said, pulling down the crib railing and letting the aqua hedgehog out of the crib. Tenshi took to leaving the crib like a fish to water, making haste and jumping out of the crib. He turned to look at the green hedgehog, confused and angered to his very core.

“If it wasn’t for the fact i want answers i’d be strangling you to death right now!” Tenshi exclaimed.

“The hell are you doing putting me in something that embarrassing?!” he yelled.

Exploit chuckled.

“Aw, don’t be like that mate. Is it so bad that I wanna let you have a break from that cold cell of yours?” Exploit asked, that loving but shit-eating grin on his face. Tenshi scowled.

“I’d rather be in that cell all by myself than to be around YOU.” Tenshi scoffed, clearly insulted by Exploit’s words.

“Funny you say that Tenshi,” Exploit began to speak, putting his arms behind his back.

“If you really wanted to be in that cell so badly, then why did you become so clingy to me last night? How else would I have made you all comfy in the diaper and onesie you’re wearing?” Exploit giggled innocently.

Tenshi’s (nonexistent) blood ran cold as he quickly took a look at him. His body froze at the sight; he was in fact wearing a white and gold onesie with a diaper underneath. He didn’t remember any of this at all, was this a sick joke to Exploit?

Tenshi’s body suddenly began to quiver very slightly at the shock and adrenaline that shot through his body, his breath beginning to slowly panic ever so slightly from the sight of it all. He quickly looked around for an escape, seeing one of the open doors that was clearly an exit from the bedroom he was in. Not taking any chances, he made a run for it, speeding past Exploit, who was very surprised by the reaction (what did he expect?).

“I have GOT to get this shit off of me and get out of here!” Tenshi said, running through the castle to find a place to hide. 

“GUARDS, FIND HIM! DON’T LET HIM GET HURT OUT THERE!” Exploit exclaimed, ordering his guards to start a search party for Tenshi.

Tenshi quickly found himself running to the exit of the castle and finally got out into the woods, not once looking back as he ignored the sounds of metal feet clanging on the floor behind him.

By the time he ran far into the woods, he slowed his running pace to a simple walk, his breathing heavy and his body ached from the adrenaline that flowed in his body. He closed his eyes, his hand placed against a tree. Once he gathered himself, he looked at the outfit he was wearing and cringed. He had almost forgotten he had ran out of the castle DRESSED like this and he felt so humiliated.

“Right, now I can finally take this shit off..” Tenshi said, ready to unbutton the onesie. Before he could start the process…he hesitated. He wasn’t sure why but he felt so tired and frankly didn’t wanna bother. Noticing that he was at the campfire site that he and Exploit usually sat around for their “show”, he walked over and sat close to the somehow still burning fire, soaking in the warmth that radiated off of it.

The warmth began to make him relax, and his eyes felt heavy. Not a sleepy kind of heavy, but still heavy. He laid his back on the ground, grimacing at the crinkling noise of the padding he wore around his waist. Once the noise stopped, he relaxed fully on the ground, the warmth of the fire slowly lulled him into a headspace that he had never experienced before. Before he could even think, he began to slowly suckle on his thumb. At this moment, he felt so…peaceful, relaxed even. It was almost as if everything that had happened to him melted away like butter in a pan, to the point that all that mattered was that he was safe and loved and….wait.

Tenshi quickly realized what he was doing and quickly pulled his thumb out of his mouth, scrambling to sit up on his bum, completely in utter shock at what had just happened.

Did he just…no, there’s no way he was acting like that. He couldn’t..no, SHOULDN’T be acting like this. It felt so wrong and yet..

Tenshi sniffled. He felt so lonely and helpless for no reason, almost as if he was just like a baby. In fact, that’s exactly what he looked and acted like right now; a big ass baby that was lost in the woods.

Tenshi’s sniffles turned into hiccups and soon tears began to run down his masked face, the undead hedgehog began to rub his hands at his masked face, trying to wipe away the tears that streamed slowly down his face. His hiccups turned into soft sobs as he sat on the ground, his crying slightly echoing through the woods. For once in his life he actually WISHED Exploit or.. ANYONE for that matter was here to hold him close and comfort him.

But here he was, currently slipping in and out of his headspace, sad and miserable as he sat on the ground.

For once in his life, he was truly, horribly alone.

The guards had looked everywhere, both in the castle and outside. There was no sight of Tenshi to be found. Exploit looked with worry, ordering his guards to keep looking around for anything. Exploit was almost at a loss, he couldn’t fathom the idea that his worst enemy was all alone somewhere. 

Before he could order another command to his guards, he heard that distant sound of crying. His ears perked up at the sound, unsure if he was just hearing things. When the sound of crying came back the noise confirmed that it was Tenshi.

Exploit commanded his guards to halt and retreat to the castle, letting them all know that he’d look for Tenshi himself. Without any word, the guards left the scene and Exploit to his own search.

Traveling through the woods, he listened for the crying intently, making his way slowly through the trees until he finally made it to a familiar site; the campfire. Exploit quickly ran over to the crying masked hedgehog and gently picked him up and cradled him in his own arms.

“Shh, it’s ok shi-shi, Exploit’s here! I was so worried about you.” Exploit exclaimed in relief, but Tenshi wasn’t. Tenshi wriggled in Exploit’s arms, whining and crying as he fussed.

“P-put me d-down!” Tenshi exclaimed, trying his best to get out of Exploit’s arms. Try as he might, his body was weak and tired from the crying and running he did a while ago. At this point his wiggling began to lessen, his body relaxed as he was gently cradled back and forth. Completely at a loss, Tenshi buried his face into Exploit’s chest, his muffled crying and tears stained both Exploit’s fur and white jacket. Exploit hushed the crying masked hedgehog, soon starting to talk his way out of the campsite. As he carried Tenshi, Tenshi moved his head away from Exploit’s chest, his crying had turned into minor sniffling. He looked up at Exploit, his voidless eyes still teary and blurry.

“W-Why? Why are you being like this towards m-me?”

Exploit smiled gently at the other hedgehog.

“Well, I KNOW you hate me and we’re enemies, but maybe I'm just…having a moment of caring.”

Tenshi blinked, he didn’t question what that meant and just went to suckle on his thumb. Exploit chuckled.

“Don’t worry my little joey, papa exploit’s gonna get you a new onesie and a nice bottle of angel milk, Doesn’t that sound nice?” Exploit said as they were just now close to the castle.

Tenshi didn’t say anything and just closed his eyes.

After a quick change of clothes and getting comfortable on Exploit’s bed, Exploit used his hand to gently propped up Tenshi’s head and introduced the baby bottle full of angel milk to Tenshi’s mouth. Tenshi was hesitant at first but ultimately began to suckle on the bottle slowly, soon growing to a steady pace as the taste of vanilla and sugar flowed into his mouth. Exploit gave Tenshi a warm, loving smile as Tenshi drank to his heart’s content.

It wasn’t long until Tenshi finished the bottle off, gave a hearty burp and finally yawned. Exploit chuckled.

“Wow, my little joey was thirsty after all that’s happened today, huh?” Exploit said, picking up Tenshi and carrying him over to the crib. Putting Tenshi in the crib, Tenshi gently curled up into a ball and began to get comfy. Before he could start suckling on his thumb, he was instead given a black pacifier, which he took too very quickly. Suckling on the object soon lulled him to sleep, his breathing slowed to a state that let Exploit know he was finally asleep.

Exploit, raising and locking the crib railing, began to walk over and dim the light near the door to the bedroom, a nightlight just nearby to leave some light for Tenshi to be comfortable in. Exploit took a slow, deep breath. Today was quite a day, and he knew it wouldn’t be the last.

“Good night shi-shi,” Exploit whispered to himself, closing the door behind him and soon leaving the scene to go do other things. He’d probably head back later to check up on Tenshi to see if he would get out of his headspace, but for now he was just glad Tenshi was safe.

“I’ll see you in the morning.”

Bsd except Dazai is a good mentor to Akutugawa.

Dazai realises the person he found is now his protege and erm.. Freaks out a lil. Goes to Odasaku like "how do you look after a child?!"

Okay so he freaks out a lot. And thinks Mori's using this to try and personally spite him....which jury's still out on that one.

Oda finds it kinda sweet and is somewhat amused to see the Demon Prodigy himself scanning through Oda's parenting books.

Despite being told time and time again the kid is only 2 years younger than him.

Dazai using tips he learns from Oda, not punishing Akutugawa for his mistakes and instead giving constructive criticism.

He doesn't insult him when Akutugawa is genuinely trying.

"I feel this werid feeling in my chest when he gets hurt. Not the feeling like I wanna hurt him but... Sad? Like I don't want him to be hurt anymore."

"Compassion?"

Akutagawa becomes Dazai's right hand man. Away from the Port Mafia they start to act more like brothers than executive and subordinate.

Dazai's as calculated as ever but it's not towards making Akutugawa feel bad, it's how to make him happy.

What things elicit a positive reaction, what makes him laugh, what makes him smile.

And using positive reinforcement while they train, the results speaking for themselves.

Dazai is just trying his best and he fucks up sometimes and learns to push down his pride and apologise.

He also takes note of Akutugawa's health and had him actually checked over by a doctor and such.

He also possibly threatens a few people... Only a few to ensure Akutugawa gets the best healthcare and can manage his condition.

"You're not allowed to die before me" is his justification to it all.

Akutagawa's emergency contact is Dazai.

They bicker and they fight but it's never malicious. Akutagawa looks up to Dazai but it's not hero worship as it is genuine respect.

He knows Dazai's flaws, will call him human with a straight face and get second hand embarrassment watching him flirt.

Dazai was in the corner totally not pouting when in a game of truth and dare, Akutugawa said Chuuya was his favourite executive.

"Betrayed by my own flesh and blood!"

"We don't share flesh or blood!"

Chuuya just grinned, victorious which started another fight but they were all laughing by the end of it.

Akutugawa knows he's loved, he still has his temper and he's still a wandering dog.

But Dazai left him a trail and he'll always come back home.

TODOMATSU ANALYSIS #1

This is gonna be Riddled with typos cause i made this all in a frenzy, but here goes anyways.

todomatsu is sorely underappreciated but I really love that little guy. So here's a long analysis post about him!

I wish the fandom saw him as more than arm candy, more than just a guy to ship atsushi with too…. and it's like. I rarely ever see any content that isn't just ship art for him and it honestly makes me pretty sad. He's such a fascinating character that gets a bad rap because nobody can understand that he ACTS cold and distant, not that he ACTUALLY IS when you actually stop and take a look at him

I'm especially tired of people insisting that todomatsu wouldn't care if any of his brothers died or if they got hurt or whatever because the truth is he's very attached to them even if he finds them incredibly embarrassing. He would do anything for his brothers although he would never really own up to it and it's clear that having formerly relied on his brothers so often he just wants to be known as less of a crybaby/less dependent since that's something he caught a lot of shit for

He's still an asshole but so are all the other brothers. They're all assholes in their own ways . But it is undeniable that he still deeply cares about his family whether he admits it aloud or not, and even before the movie revealed the information that he used to be a very clingy little crybaby it was made pretty clear that he just masked a lot of his care and concern for his bros. Masking it doesn't mean that it's not there.

The show jokes that he is Literally heartless, but… I really I think he's just overcompensating for how sensitive he really is / especially used to be.

We know he used to rely on them far too much in Highschool, ever clingy and very scared without them. Choromatsu seemed to be the closest one to him; always taking responsibility and helping him through his anxiety and emotions, but he was still very caring of his other brothers. He really enjoyed spending time with them, and cried if they got into fights or were mean; he was the baby brother they always made sure to protect, both because he was the smallest, but also the most emotionally volatile.

Totty had always been last in everything; often feeling isolated and a bit disconnected from his brothers as a result. He WAS pretty sweet, although very clingy, and a total crybaby, and could do very little without his brother’s help until he was mercilessly bullied out of that in highschool.

As an adult, he now insists on proving he’s not like his brothers. While he is a NEET just like them, he’s the most sociable of the bunch; constantly trying to flirt with girls that he  barely  feels attachments to, trying to keep up with the latest trends, and even getting short term secret jobs now and then to fund the things that he’d like to get for himself. To overcompensate for how much he used to rely on his brothers, he’s now taking charge in trying to be the first to do many things out of his brothers; he’s the first to get a job, first to get a phone, first to start  trying out new fashion, first to try and get a girlfriend ( although most of the time, it feels empty and meaningless. he holds no real lust for the girls he tends to flirt with ) … you get the idea.

He also has adapted a rather indifferent, stone cold persona about his brothers; most of the time, he effortlessly roasts them, insults them, and generally pretends not to exist around him. When people call him just as terrible as his brothers, he absolutely REFUSES to let that slide; the reason why he tries to be first in everything other than what was previously stated was easily because he doesn’t want to be known as a bad person. He does everything in his power to act heartless and uncaring, and to make himself out like an overly cutesy lovable single child.

The fact of the matter is, though, that he’s not.

He’s a liar, which his brothers hates; but just as he’s a liar, he really DOES care about his brothers. Even if he tries to pretend like he doesn’t, even  if he tries to avoid being seen with them anywhere, and even if he can get embarrassed about his relation to them, he DOES care very much for them all. He loves to go along with their schemes sometimes, playing along more than you’d probably expect a guy like him to.  However, he’s also very secretive, and his brothers know little about him nowadays – and that’s the way he wants to keep it.

He’s tired of being so babied, of being treated like he’s a fragile incapable baby. He’s an ADULT now, goddammit, and he can do whatever he want!! He keeps many secrets from his brothers and does actually kind of have a life outside of being a NEET ( which is something that can’t be said for all the other brothers ); like the fact that he climbed Mt. Fuji alone at age 21, or that he went to a Go club, or got a membership at a gym…

Despite how hard Todomatsu tries to stand out, and to be a better person, it’s all very surface level. He’s really just as much of a loser as his brothers! He thinks he’s cuter than he actually is, and acts as though he’s above all of his brothers - but the truth is that honestly? He’s not better than them. He’s still at their level.

The only thing he IS … is more sociable.  It’s painfully clear how hard  he tries to stand out over the rest, and it ends up backfiring because when he tries to be trendy or stand out, he just sticks out like a sore thumb. Not that he notices, or listens when his brothers tell him as much.

I think it's also interesting and fascinating how he actually has a pretty big doombrain issue. He always expects the worst to happen and I think that's residual from his deeeep anxiety as a teenager

Like for example . The ESP kitty incident, he openly says that he worried that jyushimatsu walked right into traffic when he went missing ( bc jyushi was looking for that orange kitty ) but I've seen some people think that meant todomatsu WANTED jyushi to walk into traffic

But I'm convinced that those people are media illiterate and didn't pay attention to the scene at all because he explicitly says that he was WORRIED that he did. And that he was RELIEVED AND GLAD when he was okay!!

I find it more accurate to say to the people who insist he wouldn't care if his brothers died. He WOULD care if tht happened. He would just act like he didn't and cover it up. I mean, he genuinely does that kind of shit ALL the time. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO HIS ANXIETY. He never shook that anxiety from when he was a teen off, which is blatantly obvious!

Referring back to ESP kitty incident again since I gave a little context on that specifically;

He did Not at ALL tell anybody that he was worried about jyushi walking into traffic until he showed back up relatively okay, if a bit trashed up and nasty. he then laughed off his thoughts and casually admitted what he thought happened, but it was delivered so light-hearted ( in a way in which was like. Kind of accepting that he was overthinking things? You know how you can get anxious abt things but then you just kind of laugh it off in retrospect?? He did that ) got a lot of people mistook it for him just simply not caring

And. he was also like. dead silent during the final bit of that ep. and just kind of kept that one awkward stare of his that he does when he's uncomfortable and he didn't really speak any lines until his brother showed back up safe. THEN he'd started talking again.

Its certainly not the only time he's done this kind of thing (see: coffee shop ep where he went a little nonverbal when he got stressed about his brothers showing up and his thoughts went a MILE A MINUTE spouting off anxieties before he could speak again ). So it seems like that's a recurring thing for him, I suppose

TLDR totty isn't heartless he's just an asshole who hides his true feelings until he Can't. Yes he's self absorbed now, but he clearly is still anxiety ridden and does care for / like his brothers despite being the one to bitch about them the most. AMEN!!!!!

How to spot that negative person/relationship

Okay look, sometimes life brings in one of those irritating energy vampires as a sad attempt to make ur life more spicy whereas other times you may question a relationship even though you really love the person and later realise that you were the problem...

When its an energy vampire (ugh)

I hate it when I come across these guys. You know when you befriend that one girl and then they suddenly start making supposedly innocent and harmless comments which they keep bringing up to point that it gets on your nerves. Well, maybe if they're saying it repeatedly when it's obviously getting a bit much, they're trying to get on your nerves and ruin your mood or make you feel insecure about that one thing. Here are some examples of this:

When they groan every time you start speaking That's really disrespectful and most definitely an attempt to make you start questioning your self and feel unwanted + make you feel embarrassed (especially when its around people). When they do it once of twice, fine, its probably a joke but when it happens almost every time then its gets irritating and very openly rude.

When they repeatedly make comments about a particular thing about you, e.g they keep telling you that your hair looks frizzy. The first time they do it, they may genuinely want to help you be aware of it for your betterment but if they constantly bring it up, its really rude and they are probably trying to make you start feeling insecure. Its a very common tactic used by mean girls, shadowing insults and attempts to knock you down through making it seem like their trying to be nice or help you.

When they are nice around others but with you their just different, in a bad way Okay this one is sometimes the most obvious sign of them all and sometimes the most hidden one depending on how the person pulls it of. If they are sweet to others and give you dirty looks, its literally a 10 foot flag. On the other hand, you know when your talking to your friend and that blood sucker spots you and comes up and starts talking to "you guys" when its actually just your other friend and then starts walking with them and tries to put a distance between you and that friend... yeah, she's probably jealous of your friendship and trying to exclude you at the same time.

When your the problem (oops)

Sometimes, you may be ruining a friendship yourself without realising. You know when it seems like your friend is trying to distance themself from you, it might just be because of somethings you've said or done. For example:

Constantly teasing them over one thing You know when you tease your friend about one thing all the time and its hilarious to you and you think their just making a fuss to hide that they find it funny too... sometimes it gets a bit much and they'd start taking it to heart

Constantly Interrupting them If your a talkative person, you've most likely done this by accident. I get that you have a lot of things to say and that your exited to share but sometimes when another friend tries to speak, you interrupt her without realising. Ive noticed that sometimes its one particular person who keeps getting interrupted, so if you keep cutting them off, they might get really irritated and start distancing themself from you

How to stop overthinking it

What if I hurt their feelings? What if they genuinely meant no harm? What if they were only acting this way cause they were sad? blah blah blah. Stop. Literally stop, were they thinking about your feelings before treating you this way? No. And I'm not trying to tell you to be an ass cause others are to you, I'm trying to tell you that their not worth it. Its you who is getting stressed over it. There is no harm in detaching yourself from this person, it will just make you less stressed and more happy + lets be real, they probably wont even care much if you quit the relationship cause they obviously don't care about your feelings of value your friendship, so why value theirs. Also, accept that they may not like you, everyone does not have to like you and thats okay. Now how to stop overthinking it? Understand what I said in this paragraph, you will no longer feel bad about all the detaching and honestly if you value yourself, you would also keep your feelings in mind and leave.

How to leave

This is probably fav step cause I feel so happy afterwards. Now that you have spotted it, and finally decided that you are going detach yourself this time, here's how to leave.

Distance yourself This is the easiest way in my opinion, cause you don't have to conjure up any words or courage to have a conversation with them and just have to start walking past them and stop talking to them. Literally the of the only times I will ever except a lack of communication.

Talk to them So your a bit braver and you don't want to ghost them, great! cause this way, you feel happy that you finally talked it out, and their going to start leaving you alone cause they know you don't want their company.

Text them The in between, you don't want to talk to the person face to face but you still want to communicate. The best of both worlds! and finally, one more stress removed from your list.

Now, please make sure that you're not disrespectful in the process and that you don't cause a fight cause it will just add more stress and drama into your life and it will escalate the situation. Theres a difference between effectively communicating and starting a fight because you started shouting or insulting, etc.

How does Sawyer meets the parents?

I follow canon for how Sawyer met Ethan's parents. She met Alan first when he came to the hospital looking for Ethan. She immediately liked him. He was so warm and friendly, the complete opposite of Ethan.😂And it only took that walk to the coffee house together for Alan to form the same opinion of her. He knew there was something special about her because of the way Ethan talked about her. Before even meeting her, Alan suspected that Ethan might have caught feelings for the "rookie" he always brought up. Hopeful with the knowledge that he might have finally opened his heart, Alan thought Ethan might be more receptive to finally meeting with Louise.

Sawyer met Louise went she went on the stakeout with Ethan. Her heart broke for Ethan after meeting the woman and learning about their sad background. All the times after that, when Sawyer came face to face with Louise it was a bit contentious. Louise was rude and made it known she didn't want Sawyer around. Sawyer is extremely protective of those she loves, so she always had her guard up. She was careful not to stoop to Louise's level with the insults and fully supported Ethan's decisions. In my HC, Ethan eventually cuts ties with Louise. (But I kind of want to bring her back in dramatic fashion one day.😈)

How does Ethan meet Sawyer's parents?

Ethan met Sawyer's parents the day after the poison attack. They flew to Boston to be with their daughter. Shortly after they arrived at the hospital, Ethan came by to check on Sawyer and was introduced. Her parents knew that Ethan was her boss, mentor, and medical hero. But they didn't know that Sawyer had feelings for him.

Sawyer's mom, Ann, was solely focused on her daughter's health and she annoyingly interrogated Ethan every chance she had. As embarrassing as Ann was, both Sawyer and her dad agreed there was also no one better to have in your corner advocating for you. Little did Ann know, Ethan was in that same corner ensuring Sawyer received the best care. Her parents were both really impressed with him. How attentive he was, how he answered all of Ann's questions, and even anticipated the ones she didn't know to ask. Sawyer's mom relaxed more and more each time Ethan checked in and provided updates. Her dad was very appreciative.

Sawyer wanted to introduce him as a more than her doctor and boss, and almost did one afternoon. She called him back as he started to leave the room. "Ethan, wait..." He paused and noticed her hand extended like she was trying to reach for him. But then she suddenly recoiled when she realized she didn't know how to introduce him. She wanted her parents to know he meant more to her, but "good friend" didn't seem adequate, and they hadn't yet defined their relationship. Sawyer also worried that her mom might slip and say something in front of her friends or other hospital staff, so instead she quickly asked, "When do you think I can go home?"

Later that same night, after her parents went back to their hotel, Ethan visited her again and Sawyer apologized. She told him that she wanted her parents to know he was more than just her doctor, but she didn't know exactly what to say. Ethan said it was okay and she did the right thing. He also promised that once she was feeling better they would talk about their future together.

A couple days later, Sienna stopped by to check on Sawyer. Her mom and dad were talking about how impressed they were with the hospital and the care Sawyer received. Sawyer's dad, Joe, said something about Dr. Ramsey being so patient and kind to answer all their questions. It made Sienna snort and she shared a look with Sawyer. Sawyer explained that Ethan had a bit of a reputation for being the opposite. Sienna then shared the story of their first day on the job and how she had to save Sawyer from Ethan's wrath. But Sawyer explained that since then she and Ethan had become friends. Sienna squeezed her hand remembering what Ethan had shared in the car ride to see Travis, that he had feelings for Sawyer but had made them stay apart to protect her.

After her parents returned home, her mom called often to check in. Most of what she heard from Sawyer was "Ethan this" and "Ethan that." A couple months after the attack, her mom just finally put it out there. "It sounds like you two are dating." It caught Sawyer by surprise, but she didn't deny it. Sky is crying yet the same time comfort,apologizing to his partner but his sweet partner the who comfort him not blame him for what happen and ask him to just stay and hug and sky will do just that no question, no hesitations pure on bear hugs and comfort in his room or at the Goddess statue to look at the night stars or sunrise/sundown

Wind knows he's not much help even his friend zelda, wind did try to comfort his partner but isn't experienced enough on romantic relationships but he can try. Truth be told, you never spoke with them much because you knew they were rude. On your first meeting all they did was turn everything you said into something negative. You felt so embarrassed because the whole class was watching. All you wanted to do was suggest something.

Now, was no different, and you weren’t surprised they hadn’t changed. “Oh look who it is, it’s be awhile, (Y/N) Uchiha,” she said with a smirk. You knew she was mocking you since she had always thought you’d never find anybody. You stayed quiet as a blush took over your face from embarrassment. Your hand squeezed Madara’s out of nervousness while she continued.

“Honestly, I’m surprised you found anyone, especially a clan leader. Despite that flat chest of yours,” she stated, words clearly laced with venom. You opened your mouth to speak but before you could Madara cut in. “Shut your mouth you imbecile, don’t you dare speak to my wife that way,” he spat. His eyes narrowed in disgust as his hand wrapped around your waist to pull you closer.

“She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, and for your information. You look as ugly as a rat, if anything WE should be wishing YOU good luck on finding a spouse,” he said grinning. You could practically feel his chakra flowing out of him in rage. You two were seating across from each other, both sipping from a cup of warm water when the waitress approached.

She was, in your eyes, very cute and attractive. While she approached you guys, as it would seem, her eyes were fixated on Sasuke. Sasuke was fairly handsome, anyone who saw him knew that. With onyx eyes, hair to match, and a fitting physique. “Hello sir, what would you like to eat?” she asked, smiling. You were honestly a bit annoyed at her flatly ignoring you.

Normally it was you ordering the food because it seemed that Sasuke wouldn’t bother. This of course was also not the first time things had happened this way. Alike other times, Sasuke simply stayed silent so you took the in initiative. “We’d like some Onigiri please,” you say, prompting her to look at you.

You could see the discontent in her eyes as she wrote down your order and left. Once she came back with your order you couldn’t help but be shocked at her behavior. Her uniform was very loose, enough that part of her breasts were exposed. She leaned down way too low for your liking and seemed to once again only focus on Sasuke.

You decided to just let it go and have her go away hoping she’d get the idea. She didn’t. Instead she just sneered at you and chose to insult you. “Can’t you see I’m serving him? Don’t act like you know anything you small chested little girl,” she would say in a low tone. Still loud enough to hook some customers.

She had a smirk on her face, and whether it was her trying to make you seem like a bad lover or just trying to shame you. Sasuke didn’t take any of it. He slammed his drink down on the table loud enough that now everyone was paying attention. Your eyes shy’d away to your lap as your eyes burned a little. You held back your tears to watch what Sasuke would do.

Sasuke could tell you weren’t up for a confrontation so he simply got up, took the Onigiri, and grabbed your hand to leave. He gave a cold glare directed at the waitress, “I suggest you get out of everyone’s sight, you aren’t attractive at all,” he would state.

While walking away together, you can’t help but blush at his jump at defense. “Thank you,” you’d whisper to him with a smile. He in turn just looks at you, his mouth twitches and turns into a smile. It was a rare occasion to see him smile like that, “I don’t care how you are,” he says. Then blushing at his own words. You’d always thought Sasuke was cute like this, and with that you gave him a peck on the lips to show your appreciation for having him.

Hair spread out on your pillow thinking about your day. You had just finished crying a little thinking about another sad scenario of Itachi leaving you. Truth be told, Itachi was the greatest thing that had happened to you.

He was so sweet and kind. Soft and loving, he was the man any girl would fall for! As you did, but just like how he was so perfect that meant you should be too, right? So why was it that you just couldn’t get over the point of your small breasts? To top it off a man had decided to rub it in your face today. In front of everyone at work of all places!

You worked as a medical ninja, and just as you and others were packing up to head home for the day a man decided to confront you. Tears started to pool in your eyes but in an attempt to not let anyone see you ran away.

As you ran you heard people yelling at the man, telling him he had completely crossed a line. Others you heard whispering, people glancing at you weirdly as you zoomed by. Now you were at home, all alone as you weren’t to expect Itachi home until two days later. As it seems, luck was on your side today.

Itachi arrived early and could already tell you were home. He had taken longer because he had decided to drop by at a store to get your favorite snack. He entered your now shared home and quickly went to your room to surprise you. When he flung open the door smiling at you he had startled you. “Itachi! You scared me!” you would say giving him a weary smile. Only to be met with a frown becoming present on Itachi’s face.

He knew it always calmed you and you stared up at him in uncertainty as you told him about what happened.

Itachi just sat with you the whole time, listening and paying attention. He could see the insecurity showing in you and when you were finished he only held you tighter. “I love you, please don’t cry,” he would say giving you a soft forehead kiss and wiping your tears away. “You are the most magnificent woman I’ve ever met, I don’t care about your small chest, I think you’re very cute, and I don’t feel like there is anyone else for me than you,” he’d explain smiling.

You only hugged him tighter in response, “please don’t let me go,” you whispered. Itachi then proceeded to open the snack he had gotten for you, he wanted to cheer you up. “I’ll be here for you always love,” he said. Before you both ate snacks together and fell back into your routine of getting ready to sleep. Itachi made sure to cuddle a lot with you after. Let’s just say the next day when you did go to work. The guy was nowhere to be seen.

Shisui Uchiha

(Uchiha Massacre didn’t happen here either!!) Shisui was set to arrive sometime today. You were very happy about this information because you had missed him very much. Since Shisui was such an important figure in Konoha he was busy a lot. You both always valued the time spent together and always dreaded your time apart.

You were just grocery shopping to prepare tonight’s dinner. You wanted to have a nice warm welcoming meal set for Shisui. When you saw him from afar, he seemed to be speaking with someone. You quickly went up to speak with him only slowing down when you realized it was a girl. As you approached them Shisui seemed to be nervous but he smiled giving you a hug.

You were a bit confused, “sorry if I’m bothering, is something going on?” you asked. Shisui didn’t say anything but the girl spoke up. “Oh no it’s fine, I was just asking Shisui on a date,” she said, smiling confidently. You were stunned to silence, but you quickly realized this girl probably didn’t know he was taken. “I’m sorry, Shisui is my husband,” you stated.

Shisui smiled at you and seemed relieved you spoke for him. You could feel the awkward atmosphere hanging in the air as the girl seemed to collect herself. “Yes, I know, but I’m still offering- besides I can tell I’d be an upgrade,” she said smirking. Her hands crossed under her chest as she looked at Shisui in a suggestive manner.

Your hands had both formed into fists. Squeezing both grocery bags in annoyance. “Upgrade? I don’t see anything better about you,” you said angrily. She only laughed, “where’s your chest? hm?” she questioned mockingly. Your lip quivered as you fought back tears, yet you didn’t know how to respond. You didn’t expect a blow like that.

Shisui pulled you close to him and grabbed one of the grocery bags from your hands. “I wouldn’t date a rude person such as you, and you should know better, my wife’s one of the most gorgeous girls around!” he would say, his other hand now holding yours. You stared at him in awe as he pulled you away from the girl while telling her to never appear before him again.

When you both finally made it home. Shisui made you set all the groceries down. He cupped your face in his hands and began giving you kisses everywhere on your face. “I love,” kiss, “you”, kiss, “you are adorable”, kiss, “and forget about what she said”, kiss, “and I don’t care for your chest size”, kiss. He then proceeded to pull you into a hug and for the rest of the night. You both enjoyed one another’s presence, having dinner and then snuggling to sleep afterwards.

every sob that leaves her makes the lump in his throat worse. he hates hearing her sweet voice twisted in sadness, those soft cries filling the quiet of the kitchen.

she turns to look at him and he can't help but drink in how pretty she is, gaze moving across her body to notice every piece of her outfit. she's wearing a top with cherries on it, so lowcut that her cleavage is bigger than he's ever seen it, making him swallow a little. her white skirt is short, and aside from showing her thighs (which are amazing) she also looks adorable in it. she even has a cute bow and frilly socks, making him blush a little as he looks down. that's when he notices there are matching cherries on her shoes too, making him smile.

the smile falters when she speaks, trying to answer him but obviously fighting her tears. each thing she says shocks him more, his brows furrowing and a frown tugging at his lips as he tries to process. "no.. wait." he shakes his head, crossing the distance to her. "none of that is true." he pauses, as if he's thinking. "well, the theo part might be true. he reminds me of flash thompson from the original spiderman movies.. which isn't a compliment, by the way." it's an insult, really. but then realizes he's rambling, which is probably not helpful.

she tries to assert that he should forget what she just said and he shakes his head, stepping closer. "no. i followed you in here because i wanted to make sure you were okay." he pauses, gathering his courage. "i actually only came to this party because i wanted to hang out with you... i don't like football. or theo." he smiles a little, because he knows it sounds ridiculous, following her around like a lost puppy, even into her boyfriend's place on football night. "so you're not ruining my night... i actually think you're beautiful."

green eyes flicker down to her outfit again, and then her sweet face, streaked with tears. he leans in, cupping her face with both hands, using his thumbs to gently wipe a couple of her tears away. he tilts her face up to look at him, using a light touch. "and my heart started beating really fast, when i saw how pretty you look in this outfit. i love the bow, and the way you're matching your shoes with your top.." he strokes her cheek a little, slowly tracing her soft skin with the pad of his thumb. she's so beautiful and so close that his heart feels like it's going to beat from his chest. "i think you're adorable."

he pauses, another smile tugging at his lips because she said she had hoped he would come. "i'm glad that you wanted me here. and i'm not going back to the party, because i came here for you. the only one theo embarrassed was himself... i mean, i don't know what he said because i didn't hear it, but he's an idiot and you look beautiful." he gently pushes a few strands of hair behind her ear, not wanting to stop touching her.

for as long as she could remember she longed for something...this feeling inside of her that felt empty and made her feel unloved, it was like it was always just out of reach and truth be told it coukd probably all be easily explained by the fact she never found that love with her own father..it was a pathetic feeling and one she wouldn't dare sit and think about for too long because if she did she would have to explain to herself snd everyone else why she was dating such an asshole.

he was like a ticking time bomb ready to go off no matter what she said or did. sometimes all she had to do was sigh ust a bit too loudly and he'd get annoyed but it's not nearly as bad as when he does it in front of other people. like the few times he'd come to meet her after her last class for the day just to hell at her for what she was wearing or smiling too much at something some guy said...it was especially bad since bee became friends with regulus. theo didn't care for the boy much, referring to him as some kind of freak which bee tried to defend him but it only seemed to make theo more suspicious.

but was he all wrong this time? maybe not because bee really didn't think regulus was a freak, or strange, she thought he was actually pretty lovely. he just shows up one day, red hair and pretty curls with green eye to match, he cares for animals and even liked plants which was exciting to her because she did too. he made that missing feeling she's had since she was a child feel so small it was nearly non existent, loving the way he talks to her and tge way he listens when she starts going about something that most lellle thought was stupid. maybe, maybe she really was into him and maybe theo had a right to hate her for it but she doesn't understand why he had to be so cruel. it's not like he doesn't nearly brag about cheating when he thinks she's not listening (or maybe he doesn't care, so why should she?)

it's football night and theo decides to throw a party...inviting a bunch of people over and asking bee to provide the food which for the most part she doesn't mind. she doesn't really care about football that much, despite the fact her brother is on his way to becoming one of the biggest quarterbacks they've ever seen it's not really something she could ever get into. but she does like parties, having people to talk to and getting to wear her prettiest clothes. she bought a new cherry right fitted top to match the cherry sneakers she had and she thought now would be a good time to wear the outfit she put together, pairing it off with a giant white bow and white skirt. she normally doesn't feel so pretty but tonight she felt okay (maybe also because blaise told daphne who told astoria that regulus would be coming to the party with him tonight)

however it was the second she stepped into the living room that theo starts berating her in front of a few of his friends. "who are you trying to impress with that outfit?" he says laughing with the guys despite the fact he's clearly annoyed. "you look like you belong on a street corner or something? what happened to the jersey I gave you? can't you just be fucking cool for once." he hisses, which makes the laughter stop as if his friends finally noticed he was being a dick. "I wasn't trying to impress any---" if didn't matter, theo glares at her. "just try not to get pizza on yourself, you've embarrassed me enough for one night." he says before shooing her away, not so subtlety telling her to go worry about the food.

she feels like she could die, but it's mostly going to be nervous vomit at this point. her light make up smudged as she wipes off her cheeks, feeling stupid as she quickly makes her way into the kitchen. maybe she should change but then he wins doesn't he? she leans against the counter with her body facing it, letting the soft sobs leave her figuring no one would notice if she took a few seconds... however that thought was short lived when a familiar voice came from behind her.

her heart flutters with happiness when she notices it's regulus but only for a second because then she realizes theo just embarrassed her in front of regulus too, maybe he didnt hear anything but now she's crying in front of the best guy in the world and that only makes her want to cry more. "I'm fine I just....I" she couldn't even lie, eyes looking over to see if hes still tgere as she begins to pout. "you know other than the fact I look like a slut and I almost ruined the party and now everyone knows it because theo just embarrassede in front of everyone... especially..." especially regulus. she shakes her head. "I'm sorry, I just need to collect myself forget what I said....you're here to party and I'm ruining your night too."

she doesn't know all the details of his life before here but she knows it wasn't easy and thesst thing she wants to do is make everything worse for him. "you can go back to the party if you want...blaise said you came here with him... which is great...I was hoping you would...and you did...which is great- I just wish I wasn't a mess right now." she starts to ramble hoping it would stop the tears but it doesn't. "fuck I'm sorry."
