Somehow managed to get all my coworkers hooked on Sanderson

It's great cause I just sit at my desk and they'll all cycle through to tell me where they are in whichever book they're reading and I get to sit there hearing people talk about the thing I love

I am the Sanderson High Priestess and they must all come to me with their hopes and dreams for their favorite characters. Begging for confirmation that their beloved protagonists will get happy endings. While I sit here on my throne of knowledge, cackling at their suffering. I hand out hollow promises of redemption all the while knowing death lurks around the corner.

Had the most hilarious experience last night watching Nirvana in Fire ep 45 on youtube bc at the most crucial part not only was there no sound (i'm used to it by now) there were no subs anymore either and since i was already on pleco i set about drawing each character one by one as a learning experience instead of picture translating it so it took fucking forever and the reveals were that much more dramatic bc i was basically only missing the key words like reading 我知道那是赤焰军的手环 and going what bracelet?? *draws patiently* Chi? ... Yan? ... Armed force? .... THE CHIYAN ARMY'S BRACELET???!!! then he'd say 你是聂锋哥 and i was like WHO ARE YOU CALLING GE?!!! *diligently draws characters on pleco* ............ NIE FENG GE????????????
